Health Management Support Program
[0001] The present invention relates to a program for supporting the health management of users.
[0002] In recent years, various programs for supporting the health management of users have been known. In the following embodiments, a health management support program for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) (sometimes referred to as a "health management support app") will be described as a specific example. Terminal 2 is a terminal used by the patient and is composed of any hardware such as a smartphone, tablet, or wearable device such as a watch. As shown in Figure 1, Terminal 2 has a display 2a, a processor 2b, and a storage unit 2c. Furthermore, CKD patients are advised to measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure at least once a day, and to make this data available to their doctor or other healthcare professional, in order to accurately understand changes in their physical condition.
[0010] The health management support system 100 supports the health management of CKD patients by managing exercise schedules and measuring blood pressure at predetermined times, as health management behaviors that the system wants each patient to consistently perform, and by recording the results of these actions. For example, Figure 2 is an example of the home screen of the health management support application displayed on the display 2a of terminal 2. The home screen is, for example, a screen that displays a schedule for performing health management behaviors. The home screen (a) shown on the left side of Figure 2 is, for example, a screen that is displayed after a predetermined amount of time has elapsed since the health management support application was first launched on a given day, and after the startup process in which the screen transitions has been completed, or after confirming a sub-window such as a pop-up shown in Figure 16, which will be described later. Another example of a home screen is the screen that is displayed first when a reversible screen transition is possible after operating multiple irreversibly transitioning screens from the screen in which the startup process has been completed. The home screen (a) is a screen that the patient will always see during the startup or operation process without getting lost, and it is preferable to make it possible to confirm or operate the displayed screen with minimal operational burden. The home screen (a) includes a section that displays the day's exercise schedule (exercise schedule display section 21a) and a section that displays the day's blood pressure measurement schedule (measurement schedule display section 22a). The exercise schedule display section 21a displays the type of exercise to be performed on that day and the scheduled time for performance, according to the pre-set exercise schedule. In the example in Figure 2, it is shown that the exercise schedule is set to perform stretching at 8pm on that day.

Alternatively, the set exercise schedule can be saved to device 2. Similarly, for next week's exercise schedule, the patient can set the exercises and times to be performed each day, and the set exercise schedule will be saved by tapping the "Save" button.

The guidance screen may be a still image or a video. By viewing the guidance screen, the patient can perform the exercises set in their schedule. Furthermore, in Figures 8A to 8C, a button with the same or similar function as the "Result Input" button on the home screen (a) of Figure 2 may be placed anywhere on the screen. This allows for easy input of results after performing an exercise without having to navigate back to the home screen (a) of Figure 2.

In this embodiment, visibility is improved by making the characters of the most recent time display relatively larger than the other time displays, but instead of changing the size of the characters, the most recent measurement time may be displayed in an easy-to-understand manner by making the characters bold, blinking, adjusting the color intensity, or any other manner.

A health management support program for assisting the health management of patients with chronic diseases, wherein the program causes the processor of the patient's terminal to execute the following processes: a process to display the patient's daily health management schedule on the home screen of the health management support program with respect to health management actions that the patient is encouraged to perform on a regular basis; a process to receive input from the patient regarding the results of the daily scheduled health management actions; and a process to generate a support message for the patient according to the input status of the execution results and display it on the home screen.
2. The health management support program according to claim 1, wherein the health management behavior is exercise, and the health management behavior schedule includes an exercise schedule that the patient is encouraged to perform within a predetermined period.

The health management support program according to claim 2, wherein the processor is further made to perform a process to display a settings screen for inputting the exercise schedule, and the settings screen displays the exercise duration and type of exercise for each day of the week in a configurable manner.

For each type of exercise, exercise schedule rules are defined, which include at least one of the number of days that can be set per week and the number of consecutive days that can be set, and the health management support program according to claim 3, further causing the processor to execute a process to display an error message when an exercise schedule that violates the exercise schedule rules is entered into the setting screen.
