Display device and operation method thereof

Abstract

A display device, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise: a display; and a controller which acquires a voice command uttered by a user, displays a first user interface (UI) on the display if a wake-up word is recognized through the acquired voice command, obtains a verification result for the wake-up word, makes the first UI disappear if the verification of the wake-up word is a failure based on the obtained verification result, and displays a second UI on the display if the verification of the wake-up word is a success based on the verification result.
