Abstract

[Problem] To provide an accessory that does not require a clasp and has an excellent aesthetic appearance. [Solution] An accessory 10 can be used as a necklace, a bracelet, or an anklet depending on size, and includes a plurality of first members 20, a plurality of second members 30, and a proximity member. The accessory 10 includes a first member 20 having a hollow first body section and first openings opening at both ends of the first body section, a second member 30 having a hollow second body section and second openings opening at both ends of the second body section, and a proximity member for arranging a plurality of first members 20 and a plurality of second members 30 alternately and for allowing one first member 20 and first member 20 disposed through the second member 30 to be disposed in proximity to each other, wherein the first members 20 disposed through the second member 30 are disposed in proximity to each other due to the proximity member in an arrangement in which a part of the first body section of each of the plurality of first members 20 is disposed inside the second body section of each of the plurality of second members 30.

Accessory

[0001] The present invention relates to an accessory, and particularly to a necklace, bracelet, or anklet.

[0002] When attaching a conventional necklace or the like to the neck or the like, the fasteners attached to both ends of the chain-shaped body were removed behind the neck. Also, in the case of a bracelet, the removal operation had to be performed with one hand, which was extremely inconvenient.

[0003] As a solution to this, the configuration disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2017-86828 is one in which the balls or stones of reference numeral 2 are connected by a strong elastic body of reference numeral 4 or a weak elastic body of reference numeral 5. The strong elastic body of reference numeral 4 or the weak elastic body of reference numeral 5 is assumed to be something like a rubber string.

[0004] However, if it is a rubber string assumed by the strong elastic body of reference numeral 4 or the weak elastic body of reference numeral 5 disclosed in the above publication, by repeating the use, the rubber string may stretch to its limit and eventually break. In that case, the balls and stones may scatter, which is extremely disadvantageous and inconvenient. Also, even if the rubber string does not break, the rubber string may be visible between the balls or stones of reference numeral 2, resulting in poor aesthetics. Especially when the balls or stones of reference numeral 2 are made of precious metals or expensive gemstones, the deterioration of aesthetics is fatal.

[0006] The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its object is to provide an accessory that does not necessarily require a fastener and has excellent aesthetics.

[0007] To solve the aforementioned problems, the accessory in the first aspect comprises a hollow first main body, a first member having first openings opening at both ends of the first main body, a hollow second main body, a second member having second openings opening at both ends of the second main body, and multiple first members and second members arranged alternately, with proximity members for bringing a first member arranged via a second member closer to another first member, and by arranging a part of the first main body of each of the multiple first members inside the second main body of each of the multiple second members, the proximity members bring the first members arranged via the second members closer to each other, and when the first members arranged via the second members are stretched, the first opening of the first member and the second opening of the second member engage with each other.

[0014] The accessory 10 in the first embodiment will be described below with reference to the illustrated embodiment. Depending on its size, the accessory 10 can be used as a necklace worn around the neck of a user (not shown), a bracelet worn around the arm, or an anklet worn around the ankle (see Figure 1).

[0015] The accessory 10 comprises a plurality of first members 20, a plurality of second members 30, and a proximity member 40. The first member 20 has a first main body portion 21 and first openings 22, 22 that open at both ends of the first main body portion 21. The first main body portion 21 is hollow cylindrical, and both ends have first openings 22, 22 that communicate with and open to the inside of the hollow cylindrical portion. In cross-sectional view, the first openings 22, 22 have a so-called bell mouth shape, with their diameter gradually increasing outward (see Figure 2).

The second main body portion 31 is hollow cylindrical, and both ends have second openings 32, 32 that communicate with and open to the inside of the hollow cylindrical portion. In cross-sectional view, the second openings 32, 32 have a tapering shape so that their diameter decreases towards the outside (see Figure 2). Alternatively, both ends may be configured to have second openings 32, 32 that communicate with and open to the inside of the hollow cylindrical portion, while the other parts are closed (not shown).

[0017] In the first embodiment, the proximity member 40 acts, for example, in a direction that shortens the length of the accessory 10, and in the first embodiment, a coil spring 41 can be used. This can be achieved by combining a plurality of first members 20 and a plurality of second members 30 alternately, and using the coil spring 41, which is the proximity member 40, so as to communicate with the inside of them.

This proximity member 40 brings one first member 20 closer to another first member 20. In other words, it brings adjacent first members 20 closer to each other via the second member 30. When an accessory 10 with such a configuration is to be attached, for example, around the neck of a user (not shown), the accessory 10 can be attached around the neck by extending its diameter (see Figure 1B).

Furthermore, if the ends 45, 45 placed at both ends of the coil spring 41 are connected to each other with a connecting member 47 at any point, the accessory 10 is constructed as described above. Note that the connecting member 47 can be a ring shape, but is not limited to this.

[0021] When the accessory 10 in the first embodiment (see Figure 1A) in its unstretched state is stretched as described above (see Figure 1B), the first bell-mouth shaped opening 22 in the first member 20 comes into contact with the inside of the second opening 32. In addition, since the contracted accessory 11 can be stretched, it is not always necessary to use a fastener, and the accessory 11 can be easily removed with one hand (see Figure 3).

[0026] Furthermore, the accessory 12 in the third embodiment is modified in which the coil spring 41, which is the proximity member 40 in the accessory 10 of the first embodiment, is replaced with multiple magnets 61. Therefore, the multiple magnets 61, which are the proximity member 40, act in a direction that shortens the length of the accessory 12. To explain this, one of the multiple magnets 61 is placed inside the first main body portion 21 of the first member 20. At this time, the south pole 62 and north pole 63 of the magnet 61 are arranged to be aligned. That is, one magnet 61 is placed inside the first main body portion 21 of multiple first members 20 that are adjacent to each other via the second member 30, and other magnets 61 are placed inside other adjacent first main body portions 21. At that time, the north pole 62 of the magnet 61 and the south pole of the other magnets 61 are arranged to be adjacent to each other so that the magnet 61 and the other magnets 61 attract each other. By placing this inside the first main body portion 21, adjacent first main body portions 21 are attracted to each other via the second member 30 (see Figure 4). The other configurations are the same as in the above embodiment, so the same reference numerals are used and their descriptions are omitted.

[0027] Furthermore, if a user (not shown) stretches the accessory 12 in the third embodiment so as to resist the attraction between adjacent first main body portions 21 via the second member 30 and the movement toward each other, the bell-mouth-shaped first opening 22 in the first member 20 will come into contact with the inside of the second opening 32 in the second member 30. In addition, another bell-mouth-shaped first opening 22 in the first member 20 will come into contact with the inside of the second opening 32 in the other second member 30.

The difference between the accessory 10 in the first embodiment and the accessory 13 in the fourth embodiment is the difference between the second member 30 and the fourth member 300. The fourth member 300 has fourth openings 320, 320 that open on both sides of the fourth main body 310. The fourth main body 310 is spherical overall and hollow inside. The fourth openings 320, 320 have a diameter sufficient for the first main body 21 of the first member 20 to move, and it is preferable that the first openings 22, 22 that open on both ends of the first main body 21 are sized to engage with the fourth openings 320, 320. That is, it is preferable that the diameter of the fourth openings 320, 320 is smaller than the diameter of the openings of the first openings 22, 22 (see Figure 5). In addition, by connecting the ends 45, 45 of the coil spring 41, which is the adjacent member 40 for accessories 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15, with the connecting member 47, an accessory 10 of the required length and in an annular shape can be obtained. This makes it possible to construct the above-mentioned annular necklaces, bracelets, and anklets that do not necessarily require a clasp. If an elastic cord 51 is used, it is sufficient to connect both ends (not shown).

[0038] Furthermore, even if accessories 11 through 15, not just accessory 10, are used repeatedly, fasteners are not necessarily required, allowing for one-handed removal. In addition, since the first opening 22 of each accessory abuts against the inside of the second opening 32 or the fourth opening 320, for example, if the adjacent member 40 is a coil spring 41, the coil spring 41 will not stretch out completely, and if it is a rubber band 51, the rubber band 51 will not stretch out and break. Therefore, excessive stress is not placed on the adjacent member 40 such as the rubber band 51, resulting in excellent durability. Moreover, as described above, none of the adjacent members 40 are visible from the outside of any of the accessories 11 through 15, resulting in a superior aesthetic appearance.

Claims

1. An accessory comprising: a hollow first main body portion; a first member having first openings opening at both ends of the first main body portion; a hollow second main body portion; a second member having second openings opening at both ends of the second main body portion; a plurality of the first members and the second members arranged alternately; and proximity members for bringing together the first members arranged via the second members and other first members, wherein a portion of the first main body portion of each of the plurality of first members is arranged inside the second main body portion of each of the plurality of second members, so that the proximity members bring together the first members arranged via the second members, and when the first members arranged via the second members are stretched, the first opening of the first member and the second opening of the second member engage.

2. An accessory comprising: a hollow first main body; a first member having first openings opening at both ends of the first main body; a hollow, spherical fourth main body; a fourth member having fourth openings opening at both ends of the fourth main body; a plurality of the first members and the fourth members arranged alternately; and proximity members for bringing together the first members arranged via the fourth members and other first members; wherein a portion of the first main body of each of the plurality of first members is placed inside the fourth main body of each of the plurality of fourth members, so that the proximity members bring together the first members arranged via the fourth members, and when the first members arranged via the fourth members are stretched, the first opening of the first member and the fourth opening of the fourth member engage.

3. The accessory according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the adjacent member is a spring, and the spring is arranged inside a plurality of the first members arranged alternately.

4. The accessory according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the adjacent member is a rubber band, and the rubber band is arranged inside the first member which is arranged alternately in multiple places.

5. The accessory according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the adjacent members are a plurality of magnets, and each of the magnets is arranged inside the first member which is arranged alternately in a plurality of configuration.
