[0010] The embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. (Operating principle of the user information management device according to this embodiment)
[0011] The operating principle of the user information management device (hereinafter simply referred to as "this device") 100 according to this embodiment will be explained using Figures 1 to 4. Figure 1 is a diagram showing the connection relationship between this device 100 and other devices, and Figure 2 is a functional block diagram of this device 100.
[0012] As shown in Figure 1, the device 100 is connected to a POS (Point of Sales) system 340, etc., via a communication network 330. The communication network 330 may be either wired or wireless. The POS (Point of Sales) system 340 provides the device 100 with purchase history information 250. As shown in Figure 2, the device 100 has a user information storage means 110, a user information registration means 120, and an error registration detection means 130.
[0013] The user information storage means 110 stores, for each user identification information 220, user personal information 230 which includes one or more of the following: attribute information 240, purchase history information 250, skin information 260, health indicator information 270, questionnaire response information 280, and promotional material usage information 290, relating to the user 210 identified by the user identification information 220. The user information storage means 110 is a type of so-called customer relationship management (CRM) database.
[0014] Attribute information 240 includes information about the customer's name, gender, age, family structure, address, telephone number, etc. Skin information 260 includes information about the customer's skin age, skin type, moisture content, pores, wrinkles, blemishes, and skin texture. Health indicator information 270 includes information about the customer's test values such as triglycerides, cholesterol, and uric acid.
[0015] The user information registration means 120 detects in the user information storage means 110 that there is missing information 320 in any of the items of the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300. At that time, the user information registration means 120 identifies a second user identification information 310 that has first item information that is the same as or similar to the first item information included in the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300. Then, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 300 based on the information regarding the item of missing information 320 associated with the identified second user identification information 310.
[0016] Figure 3 is a diagram illustrating the processing of the user information registration means 120. As shown in Figure 3, the user information registration means 120 detects, for example, that there is missing information 320: NULL in item X of the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000. The user information registration means 120 then identifies user identification information 220 (310): 100XX which has an item A: ○ that is the same as or similar to item A: ○ included in the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000. Furthermore, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000 based on the information □ relating to item X related to the missing information 320 associated with user identification information 220 (310): 100XX.
[0017] Furthermore, even if two user identification information entries 220(300, 310) have different data, such as in entry B:△ for user identification information 220(300):10000 and entry B:▲ for user identification information 220(310):100XX, this is irrelevant to the processing by the user information registration means 120.
[0018] The user information registration means 120 may perform processing based on information relating to a plurality of second user identification information 310. Alternatively, the user information registration means 120 may perform processing using information predicted from, rather than the information relating to the missing information 320 associated with the second user identification information 310 itself.
[0019] The user information registration means 120 detects in the user information storage means 110 that there is missing information 320 in any item of the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300. At that time, the user information registration means 120 identifies a second user identification information 310 that has the same or similar information as the information associated with the first user identification information 300. Furthermore, assuming that N starts from 2 and increases by 1 each time the loop processing 370 described later is performed, the user information registration means 120 performs the loop processing 370 at least once to identify the N+1 user identification information 360 that has the same or similar information as the information associated with the Nth user identification information 350. Then, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 310 based on the information regarding the item related to the missing information 320 associated with the N+1 user identification information 360 identified by the loop processing 370. The conditions (number of times) for stopping the loop process 370 can be determined as appropriate.
[0020] Figure 4 is a diagram illustrating the processing of the user information registration means 120. As shown in Figure 4, the user information registration means 120 detects, for example, that there is missing information 320 in item X of the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000. Subsequently, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220 (310): 100XX which has the same or similar information as item A associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000. Furthermore, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220 (360): 100YY which has the same or similar information as item B associated with user identification information 220 (350): 100XX. Subsequently, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220 (360): 100ZZ which has the same or similar information as item C associated with user identification information 220 (350): 100YY. In this example, the loop process 370 is performed twice. The user information registration means 120 then registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 220 (310): 10000 based on the information regarding item X: ☆ related to the missing information 320 associated with the user identification information 220 (360): 100ZZ identified by the loop process 370.
[0021] The misregistration detection means 130 processes the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 300 when it is obtained by a legitimate process when registering information in the user information storage means 110, which differs from the processing performed by the user information registration means 120. At that time, if the information registered by the user information registration means 120 and the missing information 320 obtained by the legitimate process differ by a predetermined value or more, the misregistration detection means 130 notifies the user of this fact. This is a process to evaluate the reliability of the processing performed by the user information registration means 120. Based on the above operating principle, the device 100 provides justifiable supplementation for the missing information 320 in the customer information 220 and 230. (Hardware configuration of the user information management device according to this embodiment)
[0022] An example of the hardware configuration of the device 100 will be explained using Figure 5. Figure 5 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the device 100. As shown in Figure 5, the device 100 has a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 510, ROM (Read-Only Memory) 520, RAM (Random Access Memory) 530, auxiliary storage device 540, communication I / F 550, input device 560, display device 570, and storage medium I / F 580.
[0023] The CPU 510 is a device that executes programs stored in the ROM 520. It processes data loaded into the RAM 530 according to program instructions and controls the entire device 100. The ROM 520 stores programs and data that the CPU 510 will execute. When the CPU 510 executes a program stored in the ROM 520, the RAM 530 loads the program and data to be executed and temporarily holds the calculation data during the calculation.
[0024] The auxiliary storage device 540 is a device that stores the operating system (OS), which is the basic software, and application programs according to this embodiment, along with related data. For example, it may include a user information storage means 110. The auxiliary storage device 540 is, for example, an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or flash memory.
[0025] The communication interface 550 is an interface for exchanging data with other devices (such as a POS system) 340 that provide communication functions, by connecting to a communication network 330 such as a wired or wireless LAN (Local Area Network) or the Internet.
[0026] The input device 560 is a device for inputting data into the main device 100, such as a keyboard. The display device (output device) 570 is a device consisting of an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) or the like, and functions as a user interface when the user uses the functions of the main device 100 or makes various settings. The storage medium I / F 580 is an interface for sending and receiving data with storage media 590 such as CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, and USB memory.
[0027] Each of the means of this device 100 may be realized by the CPU 510 executing a program corresponding to each means stored in the ROM 520 or auxiliary storage device 540. Alternatively, each of the means of this device 100 may be realized by the processing related to each means being implemented as hardware. Alternatively, the program according to the present invention may be read from an external server device via a communication I / F 550, or read from a storage medium 590 via a storage medium I / F 580, and the device 100 may execute the program. (Example of processing by the user information management device according to this embodiment) The flow of a processing example by this device 100 will be explained using Figure 6. Figure 6 is a flowchart showing the flow of a processing example by this device 100.
[0028] In S10, the user information registration means 120 detects in the user information storage means 110 that there is missing information 320 in any of the items of the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300.
[0029] At that time, the user information registration means 120 identifies a second user identification information 310 that has first item information that is the same as or similar to the first item information included in the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300.
[0030] Then, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 300 based on information regarding the items related to the missing information 320 associated with the identified second user identification information 310.
[0031] As shown in Figure 3, the user information registration means 120 detects, for example, that there is missing information 320: NULL in item X of the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220(300): 10000. The user information registration means 120 then identifies user identification information 220(310): 100XX which has item A: ○ that is the same as or similar to item A: ○ included in the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220(300): 10000. Furthermore, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with user identification information 220(300): 10000 based on the information □ relating to item X of the missing information 320 associated with user identification information 220(310): 100XX.
[0032] Furthermore, even if two user identification information entries 220(300, 310) have different data, such as in entry B:△ for user identification information 220(300):10000 and entry B:▲ for user identification information 220(310):100XX, this is irrelevant to the processing by the user information registration means 120.
[0033] The user information registration means 120 may perform processing based on information relating to a plurality of second user identification information 310. Alternatively, the user information registration means 120 may perform processing using information predicted from, rather than the information relating to the missing information 320 associated with the second user identification information 310 itself. Furthermore, the user information registration means 120 may perform processing different from the above-described processing, such as the following.
[0034] In S10, the user information registration means 120 detects in the user information storage means 110 that there is missing information 320 in any of the items of the user personal information 230 associated with the first user identification information 300. At that time, the user information registration means 120 identifies a second user identification information 310 that has the same or similar information as the information associated with the first user identification information 300.
[0035] Furthermore, if N starts at 2 and increases by 1 each time the loop processing 370 described later is performed, the user information registration means 120 performs the loop processing 370 at least once to identify the N+1 user identification information 360 which has the same or similar information as the information associated with the Nth user identification information 350.
[0036] The user information registration means 120 then registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 310 based on information relating to the missing information 320 associated with the N+1th user identification information 360 identified by the loop processing 370. The conditions (number of times) for stopping the loop processing 370 can be determined as appropriate.
[0037] As shown in Figure 4, the user information registration means 120 detects, for example, that there is missing information 320 in item X of the user personal information 230 associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000. Subsequently, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220 (310): 100XX which has the same or similar information as item A associated with user identification information 220 (300): 10000.
[0038] Furthermore, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220(360):100YY which has the same or similar information as item B associated with user identification information 220(350):100XX. Subsequently, the user information registration means 120 identifies user identification information 220(360):100ZZ which has the same or similar information as item C associated with user identification information 220(350):100YY. In this example, the loop processing 370 is performed twice.
[0039] Then, the user information registration means 120 registers the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 220 (310): 10000 based on the information regarding item X: ☆ related to the missing information 320 associated with the user identification information 220 (360): 100ZZ identified by the loop processing 370.
[0040] In S20, it is assumed that the missing information 320 associated with the first user identification information 300 is obtained by a regular process that is different from the process in S10, when registering information in the user information storage means 110.
[0041] In S20, if the misregistration detection means 130 detects that the information registered by the user information registration means 120 differs from the missing information 320 obtained through the legitimate processing by a predetermined value or more, it notifies the user of this fact. This is a process to evaluate the reliability of the processing performed by the user information registration means 120. By performing the above processing, the device 100 provides justifiable information to fill in the missing information 320 in the customer information 220 and 230.
[0042] Although embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to these specific embodiments, and various modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention as described in the claims.
