Horticultural support tool
[0001] The present invention relates to a horticultural support tool that is attached to a support and supports the stems of horticultural plants by guiding them.
[0002] Conventionally, when cultivating horticultural plants, a support is erected on the ground for the horticultural plants, and a tool for guiding the horticultural plants is attached to the support to guide the plants into a desired state according to their growth.
[0003] As a tool for attaching to a support and guiding horticultural plants, for example, in Patent Document 1, a support having a first annular body fitted to the support and a second annular body for supporting the stem of the plant is described. In Patent Document 2, a support for vegetables is described, which is composed of a trellis attachment body and a stem attachment body each having an opening formed in a part of a ring shape, and the base of the trellis attachment body and the base of the stem attachment body are rotatably connected by a hinge. In Patent Document 3, a cap tool provided with upper and lower holding pieces and attached to the upper part of the support by inserting and rotating a support between the holding pieces is described.

However, in the state where the support is attached, the other annular part protrudes in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the support. Therefore, when the support is not in use, the protruding part often gets in the way of work, and there is a problem that it takes time and effort to remove it from the support.
[0006] In Patent Document 2, it is described that the stem attachment body is rotatably connected to the trellis attachment body via a hinge and can be removed from the stem and folded in two when the support is not in use. However, in the state where it is attached to the stem, the stem attachment body protrudes in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the support and gets in the way of work.
[0007] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a gardening support that can improve the efficiency of gardening work by allowing easy switching from a working state to a stored state while remaining attached to a support post.
[0008] The horticultural support according to the present invention is a horticultural support that is attached to a support column to support a plant, and comprises: a pair of first contact portions formed to abut against the outer surface of the support column from both sides, respectively, and arranged at a predetermined interval in the axial direction of the support column, and a first holding portion that abuts the support column with the first contact portions to hold it in a first mounting state; a pair of second contact portions formed to abut against the outer surface of the support column from both sides, respectively, and inserted between the first contact portions, and a second holding portion that abuts the support column to hold it in a second mounting state; and a support portion fixed to one of the first contact portions and extending toward the other, and curved to surround the plant. Furthermore, at least one of the first contact portion has a first engaging portion that protrudes from both side edges in the circumferential direction of the support column in the first mounting state, with the distance between the tips being narrower than the diameter of the support column, and one of the second contact portion has a second engaging portion that surrounds the outer surface of the support column in the second mounting state, with the distance between the tips being narrower than the diameter of the support column. Furthermore, the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are set to an intermediate holding state in which they are pressed against the support column. Furthermore, the support portion comprises a pair of rod-shaped bodies extending from both sides of one of the first contact portions toward the other. Furthermore, the support portion has a gripping portion formed at its tip. Furthermore, the support portion is fixed to one of the first contact portions and extends toward the other first contact portion and is attached to the other first contact portion via a removable locking means.

Claims
1. A gardening support device for supporting plants attached to a support post, comprising: a pair of first contact portions formed to abut against the outer surface of the support post from both sides, respectively, and arranged at a predetermined distance in the axial direction of the support post, and a first holding portion that abuts against the support post to hold the first contact portions in a first mounting state; a second holding portion that abuts against the support post, which is inserted between the first contact portions, with a pair of second contact portions formed to abut the opposing ends of the first contact portions against the outer surface of the support post from both sides, and holds the support in a second mounting state; and a support portion fixed to at least one of the first contact portions, extending toward the other, and curved to surround the plant.

The gardening support according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the first contact portion has a first engaging portion formed which protrudes from both side edges in the circumferential direction of the support column in the first mounting state, and the distance between the tips is narrower than the diameter of the support column, and one of the second contact portions has a second engaging portion formed so as to surround the outer surface of the support column in the second mounting state, and the distance between the tips is narrower than the diameter of the support column formed on both side edges.
3. The gardening support according to claim 2, wherein the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are set to an intermediate holding state in which they are pressed against the support column.
4. The gardening support according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the support portion comprises a pair of rod-shaped bodies extending from one side of the first contact portion toward the other.
5. The gardening support device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the support portion has a gripping portion formed at its tip.
6. The gardening support according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the support portion is fixed to one of the first contact portions and extends toward the other first contact portion and is attached to the other first contact portion via a removable locking means.
