Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to enable easy removal of a wiring member from an attachment target panel in a vehicle. This wiring-holding component supports a wiring member in a state of being positioned along the surface of an attachment target panel of a vehicle. The wiring-holding component comprises: a cylindrical part through which the wiring member is passed; and a wiring member-holding part which maintains, in a state of being positioned along said surface, a portion of the wiring member extending from one end of the cylindrical part. The wiring member-holding part includes a fixed section to be fixed to the attachment target panel, and the fixed section has a fastened portion to be fastened and fixed to the attachment target panel. An easy-to-break section is formed at a position in the wiring member-holding part between the cylindrical part and the fastened portion.

Wiring holding component

[0001] This disclosure relates to a wiring holding component.

[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a grommet including a grommet body, a protector for housing an electric wire, and an outer for fixing the grommet body to an attachment panel. The outer has a fixing portion for bolt fastening.

The wiring member holding portion includes a fixing portion fixed to the attachment target panel, the fixing portion has a fastening portion fastened and fixed to the attachment target panel, and a breakable portion is formed at a position between the cylindrical portion and the fastening portion in the wiring member holding portion.

[0011] (1) A wiring retaining component for supporting a wiring member in a state along the surface of a panel to be mounted on a vehicle, comprising: a cylindrical portion through which the wiring member passes; and a wiring member retaining portion that keeps the portion of the wiring member extending from one end of the cylindrical portion in a state along the surface, wherein the wiring member retaining portion includes a fixing portion that is fixed to the panel to be mounted, the fixing portion has a fastening portion that is fastened and fixed to the panel to be mounted, and a portion that is easily broken is formed in the wiring member retaining portion at a position between the cylindrical portion and the fastening portion.

Door 10 may be a side door (driver's side door, passenger side door, or rear passenger side door) or a back door. Door 10 is connected to the body, for example, via a hinge (not shown), and rotates around the hinge to close or open the door opening.

[0027] The door 10 includes a panel 12. The panel 12 is made of, for example, metal (sheet metal, for instance) and serves as the framework of the door 10. When the door 10 is closed, the door side panel portion 16 faces the door opening on the body side. The inner panel 14 comprises a door inner panel portion 15 and a door side panel portion 16, creating a space between the outer panel 13 and the inner panel 14. Various devices are housed in this space. These devices include, for example, at least one of a door lock actuator, a window opening and closing actuator, and a door switch.

The weatherstrip 19 is a long, elongated member made of an elastic material (for example, rubber), and is attached along the interior edge of the door side panel 16. Furthermore, the weatherstrip 19, which is positioned on the door side panel portion 16, can pass continuously over the wiring retention component 20. As a result, water is prevented from entering the vehicle from the part of the wiring member that is moving from the outside to the inside of the vehicle with respect to the weatherstrip 19.

Claims

1. A wiring retaining component for supporting a wiring member along the surface of a panel to be mounted on a vehicle, comprising: a cylindrical portion through which the wiring member passes; and a wiring member holding portion that holds the portion of the wiring member extending from one end of the cylindrical portion along the surface, wherein the wiring member holding portion includes a fixing portion fixed to the panel to be mounted, the fixing portion has a fastening portion that fastens and fixes to the panel to be mounted, and a portion that is easily broken is formed in the wiring member holding portion at a position between the cylindrical portion and the fastening portion.

2. A wiring retaining component according to claim 1, wherein the wiring member retaining portion includes an overhang extending outward from one end of the cylindrical portion, at least a part of the overhang is the fixing portion, and the easily breakable portion is formed in the overhang.

3. A wiring retaining component according to claim 1, wherein the wiring member retaining portion includes an overhang extending outward from one end of the cylindrical portion, the fixing portion is separate from the overhang, the fixing portion has a pressing portion that presses against the outward surface of the overhang, the fastening portion extends from the pressing portion to an area outside the overhang, and the easily breakable portion is formed in the fixing portion.

4. A wiring retaining component according to claim 3, wherein the fastening portion has a first fastening portion and a second fastening portion, and the retaining portion is located between the first fastening portion and the second fastening portion.

5. A wiring retaining component according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the easily breakable portion includes a thin-walled portion.

6. A wiring retaining component according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the wiring member retaining portion includes a metal portion, and the easily breakable portion is formed by forming a thin-walled portion on the metal portion.
