Abstract

An operation method of an electronic device for executing an accessibility interface is disclosed. The operation method comprises the steps of: retrieving, via the accessibility interface, accessibility tree information including a plurality of nodes representing each of UI objects constituting a web page; classifying each of the plurality of nodes included in the accessibility tree information into a first node representing a valid web page or a second node representing an address bar, according to a type of each UI object; and monitoring an event of the web page on the basis of an ID of the first node and uniform resource locator (URL) information.

Claims

1. A method of operation of an electronic device implementing an accessibility interface, A step of querying accessibility tree information composed of a plurality of nodes representing each of the UI (User Interface) objects constituting the browser or the web page provided through the browser, via the accessibility interface; A step of classifying each of the plurality of nodes included in the accessibility tree information into a first node representing a valid web page or a second node representing an address bar, depending on the type of each UI object; and A method of operation of an electronic device comprising the step of monitoring events of the web page based on the ID and URL (Uniform Resource Locator) information of the first node.

2. In Paragraph 1, The method of operation of the above electronic device is, A method of operation of an electronic device comprising the step of storing cache information including ID and URL information of the first node constituting a pre-generated web page before an accessibility event handler is registered through the accessibility interface, and identifying an EXIST event for the web page.

3. In Paragraph 1, The method of operation of the above electronic device is, A method of operation of an electronic device comprising: a step of identifying the type of event that occurred for the web page by querying the accessibility tree information when a state change is confirmed for at least one of the web page and the browser associated with the web page.

4. In Paragraph 3, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operation of an electronic device, wherein when a window of the browser for accessing the web page is created while an accessibility event handler is registered through the accessibility interface, cache information including the ID and URL information of the first node constituting the web page is stored, and a LOAD event is identified for the web page.

5. In Paragraph 3, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, When the window of the above web page is closed, it is determined whether cache information including the ID and URL information of the first node constituting the web page is already stored, and A method of operation of an electronic device for identifying a CLOSE event for a web page and deleting the cache information when the above cache information is already stored.

6. In Paragraph 3, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, When at least one UI object constituting the above web page or the above browser is changed, the ID and URL information of the node corresponding to the web page is obtained based on the accessibility tree information, and A method of operation of an electronic device for identifying whether the URL information of a node has been changed differently from the URL information of the cache information when cache information including the ID of a node corresponding to the web page is already stored.

7. In Paragraph 6, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operation of an electronic device, wherein if it is identified that the URL information of the above node has been changed differently from the URL information of the above cache information, the CLOSE event of the web page of the URL included in the above cache information and the LOAD event of the web page corresponding to the current URL information of the above node are each identified, and the cache information is updated based on the changed URL information of the above node.

8. In Paragraph 6, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operation of an electronic device for identifying a SELECT event for a web page corresponding to the URL information of the node when the URL information of the node is identified as identical to the URL information of the cache information without being changed.

9. In Paragraph 6, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operation of an electronic device, wherein if cache information including the ID of the above node is not already stored, an EXIST event for a web page corresponding to the URL information of the above node is identified, and cache information including the ID and URL information of the above node is generated.

10. In Paragraph 3, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operating an electronic device, comprising the step of identifying a CLOSE event for a non-existent web page corresponding to said cache information and deleting said cache information when, as a result of querying said tree information, there is no web page corresponding to said cache information.

11. In Paragraph 1, The step of identifying the type of the above event is, A method of operation of an electronic device in which, when the accessibility engine of the browser is wholly or partially disabled and the ID and URL of the first node cannot be verified through the accessibility interface, the electronic device compares the URL obtained by querying the data of the second node with previously stored cache information to identify the type of event for at least one web page.
