Abstract

A cooking apparatus according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a cavity in which a cooking chamber is formed; a casing surrounding at least a portion of the cavity; and a door for opening and closing the cavity, wherein the door includes: a fixing frame which is rotatably coupled to the casing and which includes coupling holes; a decoration panel; and decoration hangers, which are coupled to one surface of the decoration panel, pass through the coupling holes, and are engaged with the edges of the coupling holes.

Description

Cooking appliances

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a cooking appliance, and more specifically, to a cooking appliance that allows the decorative panel of the door to be easily replaced and securely fixed to the decorative panel.

[0002] Various cooking appliances are being distributed, such as microwave ovens using microwaves, ovens using heaters, and cooktops.

[0003] Microwave ovens heat food by irradiating microwaves generated by a magnetron into a sealed cooking chamber to vibrate the water molecules of the food stored inside, while ovens heat food stored inside a cooking chamber by using a heater to heat the sealed cooking chamber.

[0004] In addition, cooking appliances are trending toward diversifying their functions, and cooking appliances are being developed that perform functions previously performed by two or more separate appliances in a single appliance.

[0005] The casing of such a cooking appliance can be fixed to the house in a built-in manner, or it can be supplied to consumers as a separate product and installed at a location desired by the user within the house.

[0006] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a cooking appliance according to the prior art, and FIG. 2 is a front view of FIG. 1.

[0007] A cooking device (1) according to the prior art includes a casing (10) having a cavity (S) which is a cooking space for cooking food. A door (20) that opens and closes the cavity (S) via a lower hinge pivoting connector (30) may be provided at the front end of the casing (10). The lower end of the door (20) is connected to the hinge pivoting connector (30), and the upper end rotates forward relative to the hinge pivoting connector (30) to open and close the cavity (S).

[0008] Depending on the specifications, the door (20) may be equipped with a control panel (not shown) for cooking food in the cavity (S), and a wire harness for electrical connection between the control panel (not shown) provided in the casing (10) and the door (20) may be disposed in the hinge pivot connector (30) portion.

[0009] However, the cooking device (1) according to the prior art has a problem in that when the door (20) for opening the cavity (S) is opened, the hinge pivoting connector (30) with a complex structure including a wire harness is exposed to the user, which spoils the aesthetics of the product.

[0010] In addition, the cooking device (1) according to the prior art has a problem in that foreign substances such as oil generated from the food being cooked accumulate on the wire harness as well as the hinge pivot connector (30) even when the door (20) for closing the cavity (S) for cooking food is closed, requiring periodic cleaning.

[0011] In particular, when the cooking appliance (1) is provided as a built-in type, the product cannot be moved during cleaning, which leads to the problem of the cleaning time becoming longer.
