Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] A SHOWER SYSTEM PROVIDING HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGE

[0003] Technical Field

[0004] The invention belongs to the field of bath and shower systems. In particular, it relates to a shower system that enhances the user experience with waterproof holographic image projection, automatic curtain mechanisms, and smart device integration.

[0005] State of the Art

[0006] Shower systems in the state of the art mainly focus on preventing water splashes with fixed glass panels or aluminum profiles or curtains. However, these systems have disadvantages such as aesthetic and visual monotony, corrosion of metal parts due to moisture exposure, yellowing of plastic materials over time, physical space occupation of the curtains even when closed, difficulty in drying after use, lack of entertainment, relaxation or personalization technologies, glass breakage or curtain-related falls and injuries.

[0007] Since most of the systems in the state of the art are tempered glass, the stress to which it is subjected, starting from the production phase and increasing with each intervention up until it reaches the end user, continuously accumulates, ultimately leading to breakage. Due to the production process, the edges are tempered approximately 1 cm weaker than the inner portions, which can lead to undetectable damage during transportation or installation, and therefore no warranty is offered to the end user. In the factory, it causes costs of poor quality. Since high-cost investments cannot be made for the detection of breakage, breakages are not under warranty and there is almost no scientific method of determining the causes of breakage. Breakages can sometimes cause serious injuries. In existing systems, the aim is to prevent the water in the shower area from spilling outside the bathroom area. While this function is largely achieved, starting from its primitive form as a curtain, and taking into account the consumer's visual perception in today’s aesthetic-oriented era, it was first produced using plastic-based materials in line with the needs of the era, and later transitioned to glass. Both have problems with keeping the product clean, cleaning, and sealing. In summary, in the present art, there is no system that includes electrical-electronic, hologram and software technology, only functionality is provided mechanically.

[0008] Object of the Invention

[0009] The object of the invention is to provide users with a sense of depth and expansion in the bathroom space, enriching their daily experience and offering them an experience they have never had before. The invention not only eliminates the safety issues present in existing shower systems, but also enables users to experience a reoriented showering experience through their visual and auditory perception, either from left to right or from top to bottom.

[0010] The subject of the invention relates to a shower system that eliminates the disadvantages in the state of the art by providing a sense of depth and spatial expansion within the user’s environment, offering a previously unexperienced daily usage experience enriched through multiple senses, enhancing safety while increasing user enjoyment, personalizing a shared space, and integrating modern technologies into a product that was previously configured solely through mechanical means in the state of the art.

[0011] The system resulting from the invention provides solutions to the existing problems of end users (especially injury cases), while improving the user experience both visually, aesthetically and functionally with different technologies such as electrical-electronics, informatics and 3-D hologram projection, while also creating a personalized experience with the options that the user can choose with the differentiation of the materials used.

[0012] Users can also cause glass breakage due to use in the present art. Since tempered glass is referred to as unbreakable glass in user literature and users, unaware that the glass is reinforced and that its edges and corners are weaker than the inner parts, apply force to the product with the assumption that it will not break, such as rough use (slamming doors), applying pressure or using hard objects during cleaning, children entering the area with hard object-like toys, leaning depending on the model, elderly individuals pulling the doors to lift themselves from the seat, or in sliding models, pulling the doors toward themselves like a room door instead of sliding them sideways, causing stress and tension to the glass, breakages may also occur due to these errors.Tempered glass also causes local, consecutive spontaneous breakage in case of air pressure and sudden temperature changes. As a result of breakage, the bathroom area becomes filled with hundreds of glass fragments, and these fragments can scatter meters away due to the explosion effect, causing damage such as scratching of bathroom items or glass shards embedding into the body.

[0013] Depending on the quality of the tempered glass used, breakages may result in large shards remaining, leading to injuries beyond scratches and punctures, such as tendon lacerations, limb loss, shards embedding in the eyes or back, and the possibility of permanent scarring. The production conditions applied by glass manufacturers are an area solely controlled by themselves. Limited inspections of the supplied glass can be performed by the manufacturers due to the high cost of equipment investment. These inspections are usually carried out in shipment-based sample quantities (random checks) and do not have 100% control and reliability. The glass in the shower area is similar to the glass used in automobiles, but its area and weight are much greater than that of a car, and the mobility of glass in a car is not as intense as in a shower cubicle. Only the side windows are movable and the risk of explosion is at minimum levels. Since glass is not used in the invention, injuries caused by glass cuts are eliminated; furthermore, the direct fixation to the bathroom floor removes obstacles that could cause tripping and falling, and the ability to lift from the floor to the ceiling after use, positioned out of children’s reach, provides a protective effect for the user, which is an advantage over the state of the art.

[0014] The main advantages of the invention over the state of the art are given below.

[0015] - It provides the user with a personalized entertainment system in the shower - It eliminates existing problems in terms of security

[0016] - The product, while in the open position, occupies the usage area, and when in the closed position, creates free space in the bathroom area, thereby expanding the space.

[0017] - It provides visual diversity when left open on demand

[0018] - For the shower area, which is a spiritual rest and cleansing area for the user, going beyond the standards at this point, ensuring that the person can enjoy the action more by adding visual and auditory perceptions in addition to the sense of touch- Thanks to its developable, diversifiable and personalizable nature, it is possible to create visual and auditory options for children to help overcome their fear of water / bathing, for example, enabling bathing by presenting a three-dimensional cartoon within the shower area.

[0019] - It is possible to develop applications that can produce different solutions at different economic levels with the simplest and most advanced options from the lowest segment to the highest segment

[0020] - Easier production, assembly and use

[0030] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0031] The shower system of the invention comprises at least one carrier profile (1) which wraps a curtain (2) inwardly and outwardly and carries a fixing profile (3), a foldable and waterproof curtain (2) that prevents water from spilling from the shower area to the surroundings during showering and, by reflecting visuals projected thereon, creates the perception of being in a space outside the bathroom with three-dimensional visuals or films, at least one weighted fixing profile (3), preferably ball-bearing, which ensures that the curtain (2) lies flat and stable on the floor, and at least one projection device (4) with internet / mobile device connection, which projects the image on the curtain (2) according to the user's specific content selection and includes at least one sound transmission unit. The invention relates to a smart shower system that offers a unique experience to users with waterproof holographic image projection, curtain (2) winding mechanism, and smart device integration in the bath and shower area. This system overcomes the limitations of existing products, offering a personalizable experience and enhancing both visual and auditory perceptions.

[0032] Thanks to the ball weights, preferably stainless steel, in the fixing profile (3), it is ensured that the curtain (2) remains in a smooth and fixed form and therefore does not stretch due to the water that comes / may come into contact with the curtain (2) during the shower.

[0033] After use, the curtain (2) is automatically wrapped by at least one winding mechanism in the carrier profile (1), thus eliminating drying and hygiene problems. Said winding mechanism can be an automatically controlled winding system used in roller shutters or a manually operated winding system. Since the fabric used for the curtain (2) is a nanotechnology material, it is designed so that water hitting the fabric falls into the shower area without adhering to the fabric, and at the same time, it is produced to allow water to drain through the fixing profile (3). For this purpose, to protect the fixing profile (3) and direct water to the bathroom floor, a thin, transparent PVC-based rain skirt gasket is added, which protects the fixing profile (3) from the flowing water.

[0034] The curtain (2) is covered with nano-technological textile fabric for waterproofing or PVC-based roll film material with the same properties. It offers the user a virtual environment experience by projecting a three-dimensional image projected thereon. For example, a forest landscape or meditative scenes may be preferred by the user. With the mobile device, the user can make the relevant selection and transmit it to the projection device (4) over the internet or via a connection such as Bluetooth. In this way, a holographic image is transferred to the curtain (2) during the shower and the user is made to feel like they are in a different environment. The user's selection process is carried out by voice command and / or mobile application via an interface, processed by a microprocessor in the projection device (4), and made ready for operation.

[0035] The hologram image is obtained by recording and storing three-dimensional visualinformation with laser technology and transferring it to a multidimensional environment upon adding movement effect. In the invention, the principle is based on projecting onto the curtain (2) from inside to outside area either with an overhead showerhead (T) positioned opposite or by using at least one lens (a lens that works on the principle of a cinema curtain and has the ability to both reflect and magnify the image) inside the support profile (1) through the projection device (4). Current technology is based on the principle of making static images dynamic by photographing them from three angles and adding visual depth through light reflection. Instead of being round, lenses can take the form of triangular, hexagonal, or octagonal prisms that convert holographic images into 3 to 6 dimensions, and by enabling double-sided transmission, they allow videos to be transmitted through the lens as moving holograms during the transmission of the image from inside to outside.

[0036] The projection device (4) included in the shower system according to the invention is preferably equipped with IP68 certification to ensure water resistance. At least one lens is inserted into at least one cavity slot (5) located in the carrier profile (1), visible in the side section of the carrier profile (1) in Figure 1, and the hologram image-video-audio projection process is performed from the carrier profile (1) to the curtain (2), i.e. from top to bottom. It is achieved by changing the shapes of said projection lenses inside the projection device (4), transforming a reduced projection into a reduced hologram projection principle (as described above with prism angles), creating the hologram function within the projection device (4) and projecting it to the outside area using a magnifying lens.

[0037] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the projection device (4) comprises at least one storage unit. Thanks to the storage unit, the user can store any image / movie determined from their mobile device on the projection device (4), allowing them to make a selection through a panel positioned on the projection device (4).

[0038] In a further embodiment of the invention, the function of projecting from an outer area onto a curtain (2) can also be provided as mentioned above. In an example embodiment, the projection device (4) is positioned on the upper part of the movable overhead shower head (T) and a hologram image is transmitted from the overhead shower head (T) to the curtain (2) with lenses positioned at an appropriate angle. The shower system is suitable for use in areas such as residences, hotels, and spa centers. Thanks to its aesthetic and functional design, it provides a superior usage experience compared to traditional shower curtains. loT and smart device compatibility is ensured with technological integration. It is manufactured from water and moisture resistant materials to increase durability.

[0039] Since the curtain (2) used in the invention is made of a non-breakable material, in other words, it is not made of glass or any derivative thereof, it eliminates the risk of injury; moreover, by combining visual elements with technological products, it creates a shower experience beyond the standard, contributing to a better and more enjoyable environment for the user with a different mode in each use.

[0040] The shower system of the invention is mechanically positioned in the area of use by means of a carrier profile (1) to be mounted directly to the ceiling. It includes a rolled waterproof and impermeable fabric curtain (2) to be used for projection and there is a fixing profile (3) positioned at the end of the curtain (2). The projection device (4) is preferably positioned at the top of the carrier profile (1). After the curtain (2) is lowered to the floor, the curtain (2) is fixed with the fixing profile (3) having a weighted form. Thanks to the curtain (2) being retracted into the carrier profile (1) after use, the usage area is opened up and allows the space to be used for other purposes, thereby enabling its expansion.
