Specifically, the second operation can be a click operation on the first target theme element among multiple displayed first theme elements, updating the first target theme element with a single click. There can also be multiple operations for updating the first target theme element within the first theme, and the second operation can be one of those operations.

[0140] In one embodiment, referring to Figure 5, which is a schematic diagram of a first editing interface displayed on the main screen of a foldable phone, the first editing interface specifically refers to the editing interface for the editing theme in Figure 5. For example, continuing to refer to Figure 5, the editing interface for the editing theme includes a theme preview area 51 and a theme editing area 52. The theme preview area 51 displays a first theme, which displays multiple first theme elements. In Figure 5, the first theme displayed in the theme preview area 51 includes three first theme elements, which are three stickers containing different cat forms (sitting, walking, and crawling). In one embodiment, the first theme elements displayed in the theme preview area 51 are in an initial preset position. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first theme elements can also be referred to as custom stickers, corresponding to the custom stickers in the theme editing area 52.

[0141] Referring again to Figure 5, the theme editing area 52 includes a first element editing area 521. In one embodiment, the first element editing area 521 may include a custom sticker area. The first element editing area 521 includes at least a first control corresponding to the first target theme element. For example, as shown in Figure 5, the first element editing area 521 includes three controls corresponding to the aforementioned three first theme elements. In the first element editing area 521, counting from left to right, the first control displays a cat in a crouching position, corresponding to the first theme element of the cat in a crouching position in the theme preview area 51; the second control displays a cat in a walking position, corresponding to the first theme element of the cat in a walking position in the theme preview area 51; and the third control displays a cat in a sitting position, corresponding to the first theme element of the cat in a sitting position in the theme preview area 51. In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figure 5, the third control from left to right in the first element editing area 521 is the first control 53 corresponding to the first target theme element, and correspondingly, the first target theme element is the first theme element corresponding to the cat in the sitting position.

[0142] Accordingly, in response to a second operation on the first editing interface targeting the first target theme element, the electronic device updates the first target theme element in the first theme, specifically including:

[0143] In response to a second operation on the first control 53, the electronic device updates the first target theme element in the first theme.

[0144] In one embodiment, the second operation may be an operation on the first control 53, such as a click or swipe operation on the first control 53. In another embodiment, the second operation may also be an operation related to the first control 53, such as an operation involving an air gesture on the first control 53. The following embodiment details a case where there are multiple operations for updating the first target theme element in the first theme, exemplarily demonstrating how to update the first target theme element in the first theme.

[0145] In one embodiment, referring to Figure 6, the electronic device updates a first target theme element in a first theme in response to a second operation on a first control, specifically including:

[0146] In step S331, the electronic device responds to the second operation on the first control by displaying an image selection interface; the image selection interface includes images to be selected.

[0147] In practice, the image selection interface displays several candidate images for the user to choose from. For example, Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of an image selection interface displayed on the main screen of a foldable phone. In one embodiment, the image selection interface also includes a camera option, which provides the function of capturing candidate images in real time. Users can select the camera option to capture their favorite photos in real time as candidate images, further enhancing the user experience.

[0148] In one embodiment, referring again to Figure 7, the image selection interface further includes a search box to provide image search functionality. In another embodiment, the image selection interface may include two switchable interfaces: an image and video interface and an all albums interface. The image and video interface displays recommended images and videos, while the all albums interface displays all albums on the phone.

[0149] In step S332, the electronic device responds to the fourth operation on the image to be selected in the image selection interface by displaying the second editing interface for the target element; the target element is an element in the image to be selected.

[0150] In the specific implementation process, the candidate image is an image in the image selection interface, and the fourth operation is the selection operation of the candidate image, which can be a click operation, a long press operation, etc. The second editing interface is the editing interface for the target element. The target element can be an element automatically extracted from the candidate image by default. For example, Figure 8 is a schematic diagram of a second editing interface displayed on the main screen of a foldable phone. In Figure 8, the second editing interface displays the target element 81 extracted from the candidate image, as well as multiple selectable border elements.

[0151] In step S333, the electronic device responds to the fifth operation on the second editing interface by updating the first target theme element in the first theme to the second target theme element; the second target theme element is generated based on the target element.

[0152] In practice, the fifth operation is a confirmation operation to update the first target theme element in the first theme to the second target theme element. The fifth operation can be a confirmation operation on the second editing interface; for example, continuing as shown in Figure 8, the fifth operation can be clicking the confirmation button with a "√" in the upper right corner. It should be noted that the fifth operation can also be other confirmation operations.

[0153] In the method for updating the first target theme element shown in Figure 6 above, the updated material can be customized. Users can choose images and target elements independently, and the target elements are editable, further enhancing the user's experience with the desktop theme.

[0154] In one embodiment, the fifth operation includes a second selection operation and a second determination operation;

[0155] As shown in Figure 9, in response to a fifth operation on the second editing interface, the electronic device updates the first target theme element in the first theme to the second target theme element, specifically including:

[0156] In step S3331, the electronic device responds to a second selection operation on the first border element on the second editing interface and displays a second target theme element; the second target theme element includes a target element and a first border element, wherein the first border element is one of a plurality of border elements;

[0157] In step S3332, the electronic device responds to the second confirmation operation on the second editing interface, returns to display the first editing interface, and updates the first target theme element in the first theme to the second target theme element.

[0158] In the specific implementation process, as shown in Figure 8, the second selection operation can be a click operation on the first border element 82. In response to the click operation on the first border element 82, the second editing interface displays the combined element of the target element 81 and the first border element 82, as shown in Figure 8, which is the second target theme element.

[0159] The second confirmation operation can be a confirmation operation on the second editing interface. For example, continuing as shown in Figure 8, the fifth operation can be clicking the confirmation button with a "√" in the upper right corner. It should be noted that the fifth operation can also be other confirmation operations.

[0160] In response to the second confirmation operation, the main screen of the foldable phone returns to display the first editing interface, but the first target theme element in the first theme displayed in the theme preview area of the first editing interface is updated to the second target theme element. For example, Figure 10 is a schematic diagram of another first editing interface displayed on the main screen of the foldable phone. In Figure 10, the first target theme element in the first theme displayed in the theme preview area 51 is updated to the second target theme element 101, and at the same time, the first control 53 also updates to display the second target theme element.

[0161] In one embodiment, in response to a fourth operation on the image to be selected in the image selection interface, the electronic device displays a second editing interface for the target element, specifically including:

[0162] In response to the fourth operation on the image to be selected in the image selection interface, the electronic device displays the element extraction interface of the image to be selected;

[0163] In response to the sixth operation on the element extraction interface, the electronic device displays the second editing interface for the target element.

[0164] In practical implementation, the element extraction interface is the interface for extracting target elements from the candidate image. For example, Figure 12 is a schematic diagram of an element extraction interface displayed on the main screen of a foldable phone. Figure 12 shows a magnified view of the candidate image and the elements within it; the element extraction interface is an object selection interface. In one embodiment, the candidate image may include multiple elements. When entering the element extraction interface, the system can recommend one element as the target element by default and highlight it. For example, the small fish in Figure 12 is used as target element 81.

[0165] In one embodiment, the element extraction interface displays images to be selected, and the sixth operation includes a first selection operation and a first confirmation operation; in response to the sixth operation on the element extraction interface, the electronic device displays a second editing interface for the target element, specifically including:

[0166] The electronic device highlights the target element in response to the first selection operation of the target element in the image to be selected on the element extraction interface;

[0167] In response to a first confirmation operation on the element extraction interface, the electronic device displays a second editing interface for the target element.

[0168] In specific implementation, the first selection operation can be a selection operation on the target element, such as a click operation. Continuing as shown in Figure 12, the highlighting method can be to blur the background except for the target element. In one embodiment, the highlighting method can also be that the user highlights the target element. The first confirmation operation can be a click operation on the confirmation button with a "√" in the upper right corner of the element extraction interface. It should be noted that the first confirmation operation can also be other confirmation operations.

[0169] In this embodiment, the user selects other elements as target elements in the element extraction interface. Specifically, the user can select the desired element by clicking on it, and the selected target element will be highlighted. This further enhances the user's experience with the desktop theme.

[0170] In one embodiment, continuing to refer to Figure 10, the first theme also includes a lock screen component, and the theme editing area also includes a lock screen element control 102. In one embodiment, the lock screen component includes a time component, a motion component, a weather component, a battery component, etc. For example, only the time component is shown in Figure 10, which includes 08:00, January 1st, Thursday.

[0171] As shown in Figure 13, after the electronic device displays a first editing interface about the first theme in response to a first operation on the first theme, the desktop theme setting method of this embodiment further includes:

[0172] In step S42, the electronic device responds to the seventh operation on the lock screen element control by setting the lock screen component as a lock screen element.

[0173] In specific implementation, the lock screen element control can be a switch control as shown in the area where the smart sticker is located in Figure 10. The switch control can have a prompt message "Lock screen component displayed as sticker". The switch control can uniformly set the lock screen component as a lock screen element. The seventh operation can be a click operation on the lock screen element control 102. For example, after clicking the lock screen element control 102 in Figure 10, the lock screen element control 102 is displayed in the open state as shown in Figure 11, and the time component in the first theme in Figure 11 is displayed as a lock screen element. In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figure 11, the lock screen element can be composed of a lock screen component with a preset sticker added. In one embodiment, relative to the original position of the lock screen component in the first theme, the position and posture of the lock screen element change, displaying in a preset initial position, thereby indicating that it is generated as a lock screen element.

[0174] In one embodiment, as shown in Figure 14, which is a schematic diagram of another lock screen element control, the lock screen element controls in Figure 14 include multiple components: a time component, a motion component, a weather component, and a battery component, each with a switch control. The time component may include a clock, date, day of the week, etc.; the motion component may include steps, heart rate, etc.; and the weather component may include temperature, sunshine, rain, etc. Users can choose to toggle each component on or off. For example, in Figure 14, the switch control corresponding to the time component is in the on state, while the others are in the off state. Correspondingly, in the first theme of Figure 11, only the time component is displayed as lock screen element 111.

[0175] In one embodiment, continuing to refer to Figures 5 and 10, the topic editing area 52 further includes a second element editing area 522, which is used to edit second topic elements in the first topic, the size of which is smaller than that of the first topic elements.

[0176] In practice, the second theme element differs from the first theme element in that its size is smaller. This allows the theme elements of different sizes to be arranged in a staggered manner according to gravity rules, resulting in a better user experience. In one embodiment, the second theme element differs from the first theme element further in that: the elements of the first theme element can be updated and modified, while the second theme element is a default sticker, and its elements cannot be updated or modified. However, within the first theme, the number of second theme elements can be increased or decreased in the second element editing area 522.

[0177] For example, as shown in Figures 5 and 10, in one embodiment, the second element editing area 522 is the area where the default sticker is located. In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figures 5 and 10, the second element editing area 522 includes an element editing bar 103, which displays the second theme elements displayed in the first theme. That is, the second theme elements located in the element editing bar 103 are simultaneously displayed in the first theme of the theme preview area 51. For example, continuing as shown in Figures 5 and 10, the second theme elements displayed in the element editing bar 103 include: a heart-shaped sticker containing the words "love you", a "nice day" sticker, a sticker containing two four-pointed stars, and a sun-shaped sticker. Correspondingly, the first theme of the theme preview area 51 also displays the heart-shaped sticker containing the words "love you", the "nice day" sticker, the sticker containing two four-pointed stars, and the sun-shaped sticker.

[0178] In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figures 5 and 10, the second element editing area 522 also includes a second theme element outside the element editing bar 103. The user can manually edit the second theme element within the element editing bar 103, such as by adding or deleting it.

[0179] In one embodiment, referring to FIG15, after the electronic device displays a first editing interface about the first theme in response to the first operation on the first theme, the desktop theme setting method of this embodiment further includes:

[0180] In step S43, the electronic device, in response to the eighth operation on the second element editing area 522, adds or removes at least a portion of the second theme elements in the element editing bar.

[0181] In specific implementation, the eighth operation can be a selection operation of the second theme element within or outside the element editing bar 103, thereby adding or removing at least some of the second theme elements in the element editing bar. For example, continuing as shown in Figure 9, the element editing bar 103 includes a virtual delete button. The eighth operation can include clicking the virtual delete button to delete the second theme element within the element editing bar 103. Correspondingly, the eighth operation can also include clicking the second theme element outside the element editing bar 103 to add the second theme element outside the element editing bar 103 to the element editing bar 103, thereby enabling the deletion and editing of the second theme elements in the first theme of the theme preview area 51. Furthermore, in one embodiment, an upper limit is set for the number of second theme elements that can be accommodated within the element editing bar 103. Continuing as shown in Figure 10, the element editing bar 103 displays the upper limit number and the number of added elements, for example, "4 / 8" shown in the element editing bar 103 in Figure 10, where 8 represents the upper limit number displayed within the element editing bar 103, and 4 represents the number of existing second theme elements within the element editing bar 103.

[0182] In one embodiment, the electronic device is a foldable electronic device, specifically a foldable mobile phone in this embodiment. The foldable mobile phone includes a main screen and a secondary screen, with the first editing interface displayed on the main screen; as shown in Figure 16, the desktop theme setting method in this embodiment further includes:

[0183] In step S44, the electronic device responds to the preview operation on the first editing interface and displays the first theme on the secondary screen.

[0184] In a specific implementation, as shown in Figure 17, which is a schematic diagram of the preview operation on the first editing interface displayed on the main screen of a foldable phone. In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figure 17, a virtual preview button can be displayed on the first editing interface. The preview operation can be a click operation on the preview button. It should be noted that the preview operation can also be other operations to start the preview, and there are no restrictions.

[0185] In one embodiment, continuing as shown in Figure 17, the first editing interface is displayed on the main screen of the foldable phone, which is a flexible, bendable screen. The secondary screen is the outer screen of the foldable phone. For example, Figure 19 is a schematic diagram of the secondary screen of the foldable phone previewing the first theme. In Figure 19, the first theme elements, second theme elements, and lock screen elements in the previewed first theme are all arranged according to gravity rules.

[0186] In one embodiment, step S44, in response to a preview operation on the first editing interface, the electronic device displays the first theme on the secondary screen, specifically including:

[0187] The electronic device responds to the preview operation on the first editing interface, and the main screen displays the first prompt interface;

[0188] In response to a signal indicating that the electronic device is folded, the secondary screen displays the primary theme.

[0189] In practice, the first prompt interface is used to guide the user on how to preview the first theme, serving as a prompt. Since it's a foldable phone and the preview is on the outer screen, certain actions are required to generate the preview. For example, Figure 18 is a schematic diagram of the first prompt interface displayed on the main screen of the foldable phone, showing the prompt "Please fold to preview the effect."

[0190] The signal indicating that the electronic device is folded is generated by the folding operation of the foldable phone; that is, folding the foldable phone can generate a signal indicating that the electronic device is folded. In this embodiment, when the foldable phone is folded as shown in Figure 18, it forms the folded state shown in Figure 19, and the external screen preview displays the first theme.

[0191] In one embodiment, the first prompt interface includes a second control; after the first prompt interface is displayed on the main screen, the device further includes: responding to a ninth operation on the second control, the main screen displays the first editing interface. Specifically, continuing as shown in Figure 15, the second control is a virtual button containing the words "Exit Preview," and the ninth operation can be clicking the second control. Clicking the second control allows the user to exit the preview operation on the first prompt interface, providing the user with more options.

[0192] In one embodiment, after the secondary screen displays the first theme, it further includes:

[0193] In response to the signal indicating that the electronic device has been deployed, the secondary screen exits the theme preview, and the main screen displays the first editing interface.

[0194] In practice, the signal for the electronic device to unfold is generated by the unfolding operation of the foldable phone. That is, unfolding the foldable phone generates the signal for the electronic device to unfold. Upon receiving this signal, the preview of the first theme exits; specifically, the secondary screen exits the theme preview, and the main screen displays the first editing interface.

[0195] It should be noted that the above only shows the preview method for the first theme of a foldable phone, but the same method can be used to preview themes for candybar phones and other foldable phones, which will not be repeated here.

[0196] Continuing as shown in Figure 3, the desktop theme setting method in this embodiment also includes:

[0197] In step S34, the electronic device responds to a third operation on the first editing interface by applying the first theme to the operating system of the electronic device.

[0198] In practice, the third operation is to confirm the application of the first theme to the operating system of the electronic device. For example, continuing as shown in Figure 10, the first editing interface also displays a virtual button with the word "Apply," and the third operation can be clicking on this virtual button.

[0199] Continuing as shown in Figure 3, the desktop theme setting method in this embodiment also includes:

[0200] Step S35: The electronic device displays the first wallpaper of the first theme on the system interface; the theme elements in the first wallpaper are arranged in a preset area according to gravity rules.

[0201] In specific implementation, the system interface can be a desktop. After the first theme is applied to the operating system of the electronic device, the desktop can display the first wallpaper of the first theme. In one embodiment, the first wallpaper may include updated first target theme elements, and may also include other first theme elements. Furthermore, each theme element in the first wallpaper is arranged according to gravity rules within a preset area. Each theme element in the first wallpaper may include first theme elements, or may not be limited to first theme elements, such as the second theme elements and lock screen elements in the aforementioned embodiment. When each theme element in the first wallpaper is arranged according to gravity rules within the preset area, if the electronic device is placed horizontally, each theme element in the first wallpaper can maintain its original initial preset position; if the electronic device is at a certain angle to the horizontal, each theme element will sink downwards due to gravity. For example, Figure 20 is a schematic diagram of the first wallpaper displayed on the secondary screen of a foldable phone. In Figure 20, each theme element in the first wallpaper is in its initial preset position, and each theme element includes first theme elements, second theme elements, and lock screen elements.

[0202] It should be noted that, in order to conserve resources and ensure the smooth operation of electronic devices, the first theme element may not display the animation effects of each theme element during the setup phase (except for the preview involved in step S44). The setup process only enables the first theme to have the ability to display animation effects. However, if resource consumption is not a concern, the first theme element can also display the animation effects of each theme element during the setup phase, allowing users to preview the animation effects directly without needing the preview operation involved in step S44, thus simplifying the operation.

[0203] In one embodiment, the theme editing area of the first editing interface may further include a theme color editing area, where the theme background color can be selected.

[0204] In one embodiment, the theme editing area of the first editing interface may also include location information settings. After the location information is set, the current location can be displayed in the first theme according to the mobile phone's location, for example, the location information displays the city name.

[0205] The above embodiments illustrate the process of setting up a first theme. In this first theme, theme elements are arranged according to gravity rules within a preset area. The first theme is editable, allowing theme elements to be updated based on user actions. Providing this type of theme with the ability to edit elements enhances the user experience.

[0206] The following description, in conjunction with the accompanying diagram, illustrates the effect of applying the first theme to the operating system of an electronic device.

[0207] In one embodiment, the system interface is a lock screen interface, and the first wallpaper is the lock screen interface wallpaper;

[0208] Step S35: After the electronic device displays the first wallpaper of the first theme on the system interface, it also includes:

[0209] In response to the physical movement of the electronic device, the theme elements in the first wallpaper move within a preset area following the direction of the physical movement.

[0210] In the specific implementation process, the physical movement can be a reciprocating motion generated by shaking. The preset area can be a preset area, generally the area formed by the edge of the first wallpaper. For example, as shown in Figure 21, which is a schematic diagram of the physical movement of a foldable phone in a folded state, the foldable phone moves back and forth in the direction of the arrow in Figure 21, that is, the reciprocating motion generated by shaking, and the theme elements in the first wallpaper move in the direction of the reciprocating motion.

[0211] In one embodiment, at least two theme elements in the first wallpaper generate an elastic collision effect after they move closer to each other and their edges come into contact; and / or, the theme element generates an elastic collision effect after it comes into contact with the edge of a preset area.

[0212] In practice, during the movement following the swaying direction, a speed difference between two subject elements can generate relative motion, thus producing an elastic collision effect. Elastic collision effects also occur when subject elements come into contact with the edge of a preset area. Specifically, this can be achieved by collecting data from gravity sensors and constructing a 2D physical simulation model in real-time on an electronic device using software, rendering it in real-time to simulate elastic collision effects in the physical world. The physical simulation model can simulate physical relationships such as the weight, volume, gravity, and buoyancy of objects. For example, subject elements of different sizes experience different gravity effects and have different movement speeds.

[0213] In one embodiment, after the electronic device displays the first wallpaper of the first theme on the system interface, it further includes:

[0214] In response to a touch operation on a selected theme element in a first wallpaper, the selected theme element generates a first motion effect within a preset area. The first motion effect includes one or more of the following: scaling motion effect, rotation motion effect, and bouncing motion effect.

[0215] In the specific implementation, the selected theme element can be any theme element in the first wallpaper, and the touch operation can be a click operation on the selected theme element. Scaling, rotating, and bouncing animations can all be implemented using a 2D physical simulation model. For example, Figure 22 is a schematic diagram of the touch operation on the first wallpaper. In Figure 22, clicking on a first theme element causes it to rotate along the direction of the arrow, producing a rotating animation. When the first theme element produces an animation, the material changes, resulting in an elastic collision effect with other adjacent theme elements, triggering a chain reaction where all theme elements in the first wallpaper produce animations. In one embodiment, clicking on different theme elements can produce different first animations, specifically one or more of scaling, rotating, and bouncing animations.

[0216] In one embodiment, after the electronic device displays the first wallpaper of the first theme on the system interface, it further includes:

[0217] In response to a first voice received by the microphone, the electronic device generates a second motion effect in a preset area for each theme element in the first wallpaper. The second motion effect includes a wind motion effect and / or an elastic collision motion effect. The first voice is a voice generated by a blowing operation on the surface of the display screen.

[0218] In practice, during the wind effect, the main elements move according to the direction of the wind. During this movement, a speed difference is generated, resulting in an elastic collision effect. After the microphone receives the voice generated by the blowing operation, the electronic device recognizes the voice and converts it into a command to control the 2D physical simulation model to generate the wind effect and / or elastic collision effect.

[0219] Understandably, after the animation effect is generated, the various theme elements in the first wallpaper gradually arrange themselves according to the rules of gravity, and the positions of the theme elements can be changed compared to before the animation effect was generated.

[0220] In one embodiment, after the electronic device applies the first theme to the operating system of the electronic device in response to a third operation on the first editing interface, it further includes:

[0221] After the electronic device is in its first state and enters the lock screen interface, the theme elements in the first wallpaper are in their initial preset positions;

[0222] After the electronic device is in its second posture and enters the lock screen, the theme elements in the first wallpaper begin to generate a gravity effect from their initial preset positions.

[0223] In the specific implementation, the first posture can be a horizontal placement state, in which case all the theme elements in the first wallpaper are in their initial preset positions. The second posture can be a non-horizontal placement state, that is, at an angle to the horizontal plane. In this case, a gravity effect is triggered, and the theme elements in the first wallpaper begin to experience a gravity effect from their initial preset positions. Specifically, the first and second postures can be determined using data from a gravity sensor.

[0224] In one embodiment, after the electronic device is in a first posture and enters the lock screen interface, the theme elements in the first wallpaper are in their initial preset positions, specifically including:

[0225] When the electronic device is in its first state and enters the lock screen from the always-on display, the theme elements in the first wallpaper are in their initial preset positions.

[0226] Correspondingly, after the electronic device is in the second posture and enters the lock screen interface, the theme elements in the first wallpaper begin to generate a gravity effect from their initial preset positions, specifically including:

[0227] Once the electronic device is in its second state and enters the lock screen from the off screen, the theme elements in the first wallpaper begin to generate a gravity effect from their initial preset positions.

[0228] In practice, the always-on display can be an AOD (Always On Display) display.

[0229] In this implementation, different animation effects are provided from the always-on display to the lock screen, enhancing the user experience of using the mobile phone.

[0230] In one embodiment, this application also provides a desktop theme setting device, comprising:

[0231] The first display unit is used to display the first theme settings interface, which includes the first theme and multiple first theme elements.

[0232] The first response unit is used to respond to the first operation on the first topic and display the first editing interface about the first topic;

[0233] The second response unit is used to respond to a second operation on the first editing interface for the first target theme element and update the first target theme element in the first theme; wherein the first target theme element is one of a plurality of first theme elements;

[0234] The third response unit is used to respond to a third operation on the first editing interface and apply the first theme to the operating system of the electronic device;

[0235] The second display unit is used to display the first wallpaper of the first theme on the system interface; the first wallpaper includes multiple first theme elements of the first theme, and the multiple first theme elements include the updated first target theme elements, and each theme element in the first wallpaper is arranged in a preset area according to gravity rules.

[0236] It should be noted that the steps performed by each unit in the electronic device in this embodiment are the same as the steps (S31 to S35) performed by the electronic device in the previous embodiment.
