Abstract
Description
HAIR COLOR COMPOSITION, METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TO THE HAIR / KERATIN FIBRE WITHOUT STAINING SKINFIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention is related to hair color composition for hair and beard. Further the invention relates to the process of preparation of hair and beard color composition. The present invention also relates to process of application of the color composition to the hair and beard / keratin fiber without skin stain.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] A beard is the hair that grows on the jaw, chin, upper lip, lower lip, cheeks, and neck of humans and some non-human animals. In humans, usually pubescent or adult males can grow beards. Facial hair is hair grown on the face, usually on the chin, cheeks, and upper lip region. It is typically a secondary sex characteristic of human males. Men typically start developing facial hair in the later stages of puberty or adolescence, around fifteen years of age, and most do not finish developing a full adult beard until around eighteen or later. Large variations can occur however, as boys as young as eleven have been known to develop facial hair and some men cannot grow much facial hair at all.
[0004] Hair & beard greying is a common phenomenon now a days may be due to pollution, type of diet, type of lifestyle and stressful life. While hair being seen in persons of age starting from about 25nyears. In the modem and fashion world many hair dyes are being applied to hide the white hairs and give a young black hair look. Few herbal dyes reported with plant extracts help in hair coloring, but they are poor in ' coloration as they take more time for dying and the effect of dye remains for a short period of time.
[0005] IN201641015825A relates to a biotechnological hair dye consisting of Tyrosinase extracted from mushrooms, Tyrosine amino acid along with very less concentrations of Paraphenylenediamine(P-PDA), 4- aminophenol(4-AP) and nutritional and thickening substances.
[0006] There is, therefore, an unmet need to develop a novel Beard & hair color composition with a convenient method to deliver the hair colour to the keratin fibre.
[0007] The present invention satisfies the existing needs, as well as others, and generally overcomes the deficiencies found in the prior art.
[0008] Present invention is related to beard & hair coloring through a pre-colour conditioner cream for oxidative hair colour system. Present invention consists of three component systems for oxidative hair colour category; the component 1 is called as ‘“Pre-conditioner Conditioner”, component 2 is called as “colorant” and component 3 is called “Developer”. Firstly, the component 1 to be applied on all over the beard, moustache, sidebums and all the facial areas where the coloration will happen. Mix component 2 & 3 in a non-metallic bowl and keep ready the color mix. Do not wash the pre-color conditioner and directly start applying the non-drippy color mix on the facial hairs to be protected from stain.OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
[0010] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a beard & hair color composition.
[0011] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a beard & hair color composition that is convenient to the end user with respect to the application and developmental time aspects.
[0012] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a beard & hair color composition that result in 100% grey coverage without any stain on face or human skin.
[0013] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a beard & hair color composition that deposit the vibrant beard colour, having higher retention of colour with respect to shampoo / soap wash.
[0014] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a beard & hair color composition that provides uniform colour delivery, soft, shine silky hair to the end user.
[0015] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a process for preparation of beard & hair color composition.
[0016] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a process for application of color composition in the beard, moustache and facial hair.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0097] Example 2: To measure and quantify the smoothness of Beard & Hair colour cream on hair swatchesInstrument: Dia-stron MTT 175 used for the studyHair tress / swatches preparation: Clean and dry hair swatches were used for the study. The swatches weighed approximately 5 gm with length of 20 cm and width of 2 cm. Each sample was treated on 8 hair tress / swatch and the measurement room maintained the relative humidity between 60-70% and temperature between 25-28 deg C. 8 readings were taken for each hair swatch upto down motion and four reading per side of the hair tress / swatches.% change in Combing force(Combing force of Control — Combing force of Treated hair)x 100Combing force of ControlHair colour application: 5 gm of colorant and 5 gm developer were mixed uniformly and applied on the dry clean hair swatches and left for the 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the hair tress / swatches were washed with normal water until the water runs in clear. After coloration the hair tress / swatches were air dried for 3-4 hours. After 4 hours hair tress / swatches were undergoing the force measurement.Reading for Combing Force with different Trials:Table 1. % of increase in smoothness with different pre-application*LLP is Light Liquid Paraffin, RCNO is refined Coconut OilObservations: As it would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, the best results were obtained when the Pre-colour conditioned was applied before coloration.Example 3: Dye uptake Value (E Value) to estimate the colour delivery shadeHair coloring is the process to hide or cover grey hair. Post coloration repeated washing of colored hair with surfactant containing shampoos or high pH soap accelerates the colour fading. In this study, the L*a*b value was checked by Chromameter which gives the colour of the hair initially and fading of colour post every three-washing cycle.Study Protocol: Three fresh swatches were prepared for the study. Pre-reading (L*a*b* values) of the swatches was taken by Chromameter. An average of six reading was carried out per hair swatch and among six readings three readings were in front side and 3 readings in back side. The same pre-reading swatches are used for the coloring process.Statistical design: Three (3) 100% grey swatches were taken for the study. Dye uptake and retention pattern were calculated based on the average of eighteen data points. The standard deviation calculated based on three hair swatches delta E values.Table 2: Delta E values on white hair for grey coverage pattern and 10 minutes colour delivery study&&Shine: Shine meterConclusion: As it would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, the best results were obtained 5 when the composition according to the present invention were applied.Example 4: Reduced skin staining with use of a Pre-Color conditioner. The data (in table 3) includes results for three different skin tones, comparing the staining effects both with and without the pre-color conditioner. These results have been validated through instrumental analysis.Table 3: Application of color on different Skin Tone to understand staining with and without Pre-Color Conditioner
[0098] It would be appreciated by a person skilled in the art that the stains left by the colour without the pre-colour conditioner is much darker than the stain left by the colour along with thepre-colour conditioner, on the fair, medium as well the dark skins. Higher DE values indicate that the stain is darker. The pre-colour conditioner very effectively prevents the staining on the skin, regardless of the skin tones.
