[0001] The present invention relates to a sheet package.
[0002] Conventionally, there has been known a sheet package in which a sheet laminate formed by laminating a plurality of wet sheets is packaged with a package formed of a film. The package is provided with a take-out port for taking out the wet sheet, and a seal-shaped lid member that can be repeatedly adhered and peeled multiple times is attached to cover the take-out port. When the lid member is peeled off from the package to take out the wet sheet from the sheet package, the take-out port is exposed in a state where the base end portion of the lid member remains adhered to the package (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Therefore, when taking out a wet sheet, a user holds the package with one hand and peels the lid member with the other hand to expose the take-out port. However, a two-stage peeling operation is required: after peeling the front half of the lid member to expose the front half side of the take-out port, the rear half of the lid member is peeled to expose the rear half side of the take-out port.

[0015] [Sheet Packaging] The sheet packaging 100 of this embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 to 5, for example, is a sheet laminate in which multiple wet sheets P are stacked together, and is packaged with a packaging 120 made of film, with the wet sheets P contained within the packaging 120. The packaging 120 has an opening 12 for taking out the wet sheets P, and a seal-like lid material 110 that can be repeatedly adhered to and peeled off is attached to the position covering the opening 12.
[0016] [Wet Sheets] Wet sheets P are sheets impregnated with a chemical solution, and include, for example, wet wipes, toilet cleaners, antiperspirant sheets, kitchen cleaners, etc. The sheet material of wet sheets P is preferably a nonwoven fabric manufactured using a predetermined fiber as the fiber material by a well-known technique such as spunlace, air-through, air-laid, point bond, spunbond, or needle punch. Examples of predetermined fibers include cellulose fibers such as rayon, lyocell, Tencel, and cotton; polyolefin fibers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl alcohol; polyester fibers such as polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate; and polyamide fibers such as nylon. These may be used individually or in combination of two or more types. Furthermore, the sheet material of wet sheets P is preferably formed with a basis weight of 30 to 80 gsm and a size of 100 mm to 200 mm in the MD direction (the direction in which paper moves on the paper machine) and 100 mm to 200 mm in the CD direction (the direction perpendicular to the direction in which paper moves on the paper machine). Note that basis weight refers to the basis weight measured in accordance with JIS P 8124:2011. Furthermore, any chemical solution can be used as the impregnation of the wet sheet P, depending on the intended use of the wet sheet P, but it is preferable to use one that contains, for example, purified water, a preservative, a pH adjuster, etc.
[0017] [Packaging] The packaging 120 is formed in the shape of a bag from a sheet of film. As the sheet of film, for example, a single material or composite material of synthetic resin film such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyester, polyamide, or polyvinyl chloride, or a composite film made by laminating these synthetic resin films with aluminum foil or paper can be used. The thickness of the sheet of film is preferably 40 μm to 70 μm. The packaging 120 is formed by joining opposite sides of the sheet of film to form a center seal portion (formed on the lower side of the packaging 120) (not shown), then placing the sheet laminate inside the tubular film, and finally joining the openings at both ends of the tubular film to form two end seal portions 121, 121, thereby forming a pillow-type packaging that encloses the sheet laminate. The size of the packaging 120 is determined according to the size of the sheet stack to be contained, but it is preferable that the packaging 120 be large enough to accommodate the sheet stack with some room to spare, without making the packaging 120 unnecessarily large and without making it difficult to remove the wet sheets P when in use. The packaging 120 has a roughly rectangular shape in plan view, and it is preferable that the length in the left-right direction is 130 mm to 300 mm, and the length in the front-back direction is 70 mm to 120 mm. More preferably, the length in the left-right direction is 230 mm to 250 mm, and the length in the front-back direction is 100 mm to 120 mm.
[0018] [Lid Material] The lid material 110 is formed from a sheet separate from the packaging body 120 and is configured to cover the dispensing opening 12 for taking out the wet sheets P in an openable and closable manner. The shape of the lid material 110 is not particularly limited as long as it can completely cover the dispensing opening 12, and here a substantially rectangular lid material 110 is used. The substantially rectangular lid material 110 is attached to the upper surface of the packaging body 120, which has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, as shown in Figure 5, for example, with the longitudinal direction of the packaging body 120 and the longitudinal direction of the lid material 110 aligned. Furthermore, as will be described later, a dispensing opening 12 that is wide in the left-right direction is formed on the upper surface of the packaging body 120 along the left-right direction, which is the longitudinal direction of the packaging body 120, so the lid material 110 that covers the dispensing opening 12 is also formed in a substantially rectangular shape that is long in the left-right direction and is attached to the upper surface of the packaging body 120. The longer left-right dimension of the lid material 110 is preferably 70 mm to 100 mm, and the shorter front-to-back dimension is preferably 35 mm to 65 mm. More preferably, the longer left-to-right dimension is 75 mm to 85 mm, and the shorter front-to-back dimension is 50 mm to 60 mm. A knob 11 is provided at one end of the lid material 110, protruding from that end. The knob 11 is provided in a manner that it protrudes from the edge on the longer side of the lid material 110. Note that the shorter front-to-back dimension of the lid material 110 described above is the dimension of the lid material 110 excluding the knob 11. As will be described later, the knob 11 is a part that is not adhered to the packaging body 120, so it is distinguished from the main body of the lid material 110 in terms of dimensions.
[0019] The lid material 110 is formed in a manner in which a lid material body sheet 110a and a laminate sheet 110b covering the surface side of the lid material body sheet 110a are laminated together, as shown in Figures 2 and 4. The material of the sheet pieces constituting the lid material body sheet 110a can be the same as that of the film constituting the packaging body 120. The thickness of the sheet pieces constituting the lid material body sheet 110a is thicker than that of the film constituting the packaging body 120, preferably between 60 μm and 80 μm. For the laminate sheet 110b, for example, a transparent polyvinyl chloride resin film can be used, and the transparent laminate sheet 110b is attached to the surface of the lid material body sheet 110a with a transparent adhesive. This laminate sheet 110b has a size that extends from the lid material body sheet 110a to the other end of the lid material 110, and at the other end of the lid material 110, the laminate sheet 110b portion is adhered to the packaging body 120. The thickness of the laminate sheet 110b is approximately 50 μm.
[0020] A pressure-sensitive adhesive such as polyester, acrylic, or rubber is applied to the back surface of the lid material 110, allowing for repeated bonding and peeling, and the lid material 110 is bonded to the packaging body 120 so as to be able to open and close the dispensing opening 12. On the other end of the lid material 110, the laminate sheet 110b portion is bonded to the packaging body 120, and it is preferable that this laminate sheet 110b portion is bonded with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that has stronger adhesive strength than the pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds the lid material body sheet 110a of the lid material 110. This makes it difficult for the laminate sheet 110b portion of the lid material 110 to peel off from the packaging body 120, and the other end of the lid material 110 functions as a fixing portion 111 of the lid material 110. This fixing portion 111 is provided along the width direction (left-right direction) of the long side, which is the other end of the lid material 110. Furthermore, pressure-sensitive adhesive is not applied to the underside of the knob 11 provided on one end of the lid material 110, and the knob 11 is not adhered to the packaging body 120. This makes it easy to open and close the lid material 110 using the knob 11.
[0021] Such a lid material 110 is designed to be peeled off starting from the tab portion 11 at one end and toward the fixing portion 111 at the other end of the lid material 110. In other words, the lid material 110 is designed to be peeled off along the shorter direction of the lid material 110. Specifically, the lid material 110 is configured to be peeled off in an opening direction along the shorter direction of the peeling length of the lid material 110 in order to expose the outlet 12. Also, with reference to the outlet 12 covered by the lid material 110, the lid material 110 is configured to be peeled off in an opening direction along the direction (front-back direction) where the width of the outlet 12 is narrower in order to expose the outlet 12.
[0022] Furthermore, on the other end of the lid material 110, there is a region where the laminate sheet 110b is adhered to the packaging body 120, and a region where the thickness of the lid material 110 is thinner is formed in the width direction (left-right direction) of the lid material 110. Specifically, the lid material 110 has a first region where the lid material body sheet 110a and the laminate sheet 110b are laminated together, and a second region consisting only of the laminate sheet 110b. The thickness of the lid material 110 differs between the first and second regions, with the second region being the thinner region. The fixing portion 111 of the lid material 110 corresponds to the second region where the thickness of the lid material 110 is thinner. In addition, the lid material 110 has a boundary portion 112 that corresponds to the boundary between the first and second regions. This boundary portion 112 of the lid material 110 functions as a hinge portion of the lid material 110, as will be described later.
[0023] [Dispensing opening] An opening 12 is formed on the upper surface of the packaging body 120, having a shape in which the width in one direction (front-to-back direction) is wider than the width in one direction (front-to-back direction) intersecting that direction (left-to-right direction). In this embodiment, the opening 12 in Figure 3 has a substantially oval shape in which the width in the left-to-right direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction is wider than the width in the front-to-back direction, and here it has a substantially rounded rectangular shape. The opening 12 is formed to be wider in the left-to-right direction in order to make it easier to take out the wet sheets P contained in the packaging body 120 from the packaging body 120, which has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view and is long in the left-to-right direction. Preferably, the width of this opening 12 in the front-to-back direction is 15 mm to 30 mm, and the width in the left-to-right direction is 30 mm to 60 mm. For example, the top surface of the packaging body 120 is provided with a cutting line for forming an opening 12. When the sheet packaging body 100 is first used, the lid material 110 is peeled off from the packaging body 120, and the portion corresponding to the cutting line is separated by the adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive provided on the back surface of the lid material 110, thereby forming the opening 12.
[0024] [Procedure for removing the lid] Next, the procedure for removing the lid 110 in order to take out the wet sheet P from the sheet packaging 100 of this embodiment will be described. Here, the example will be that the wet sheet P is taken out from the sheet packaging 100 which is placed on a predetermined stand such as a workbench or table.
[0025] To remove a wet sheet P from a sheet package 100 placed on a stand, when peeling off the lid material 110 of the sheet package 100, for example, as shown in Figure 6, the user grasps the tab portion 11 of the lid material 110 with the fingers of one hand (in this case, the thumb and index finger of the right hand) and presses down on the fixing portion 111 of the lid material 110 with the outer edge of the palm of that hand. Then, while pressing down on the fixing portion 111 with the outer edge of the palm, the user supports the sheet package 100 by pressing it down on the stand with that hand, and peels off the lid material 110 from the package 120 by pulling it up from the tab portion 11 side. The peeling of the lid material 110 from one end is performed as a series of operations. For example, as shown in Figure 7, when the lid material 110 is peeled down to the boundary portion 112, the thickness of the lid material 110 changes, which changes the resistance to peeling the lid material 110. At that point, the user is instructed to stop peeling the lid material 110.
[0026] Then, when the lid material 110, which has peeled off up to the boundary 112, is turned over and released, for example as shown in Figure 3, the now thinner boundary 112 functions as a hinge, causing the lid material 110 to bend and fall down under its own weight. With the fixing portion 111 of the lid material 110 still attached to the packaging body 120, the lid material 110, which has bent and fallen down at the boundary 112, will not return to the closed position due to restoring force, etc., and will maintain an exposed dispensing opening 12. As described above, the sheet packaging 100 of this embodiment has a structure that makes it easy to expose the dispensing opening 12 in order to take out the wet sheet P.
[0029] As mentioned above, the dimensions of the lid material 110 of the sheet packaging body 100 in this embodiment in the short-side direction are preferably 35 mm to 65 mm, and particularly preferably 50 mm to 60 mm. With such a sheet packaging 100, it is possible to peel off the lid material 110 with one hand more easily, expose the dispensing opening 12, and take out the wet sheet P.

Claims
1. A sheet packaging comprising a sheet laminate in which multiple wet sheets are stacked and packaged by a packaging body, wherein the packaging body has an opening for taking out the wet sheets, and a seal-like lid material that can be repeatedly adhered to and peeled off is attached to the position covering the opening, and the lid material is configured to be peeled off in an opening direction along the direction in which the peeling length of the lid material is shorter in order to expose the opening.
2. The sheet packaging according to claim 1, wherein the opening has a shape in which the width in one direction is wider than the width in one direction, and the lid material is configured to peel off in an opening direction along the direction in which the width of the opening is narrower, in order to expose the opening.
3. The sheet packaging according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a tab is provided on one end of the lid material that is not adhered to the packaging body, and the lid material is configured to be peeled off from the tab towards the other end of the lid material.
4. The sheet packaging body according to claim 3, characterized in that one end of the lid material is formed to be shorter in width than the other end of the lid material.
5. The sheet packaging body according to claim 3, characterized in that a region where the thickness of the lid material is thinner is formed on the other end of the lid material in the width direction of the lid material, and the boundary portion with the difference in thickness is configured to function as a hinge portion of the lid material.
6. The sheet packaging according to claim 5, characterized in that the dispensing opening is formed on the upper surface of the packaging, the lid material is attached from the upper surface of the packaging to the side surface in contact with the upper surface, and the boundary portion is along the edge between the upper surface and the side surface.
