[0023] As an optional but non-restrictive implementation, in response to a user's active request, a prompt message can be sent to the user, such as a pop-up window, where the prompt message can be presented in text format. Furthermore, the pop-up window can also include a selection control allowing the user to choose "agree" or "disagree" to provide information to the electronic device.

[0024] It is understood that the above notification and user authorization process are merely illustrative and do not constitute a limitation on the implementation of this disclosure. Other methods that comply with relevant laws and regulations may also be applied to the implementation of this disclosure.

[0025] Figure 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. In environment 100, user 110 can initiate a live broadcast via an associated terminal device 120. In some scenarios, user 110 is also referred to as the host of the live broadcast session, host user, host participant, broadcaster, live broadcast manager, etc. In some embodiments, user 110 may include a user corresponding to an e-commerce store, or an object recommender capable of recommending online products.

[0026] User 130 can manage the live stream through the associated terminal device 140. In some scenarios, user 130 can be referred to as the operator, manager, or controller of the live stream, etc. User 130 can configure the live stream via the terminal device 140. For example, setting the live stream interface, configuring multiple objects involved in the live stream, setting the name of the live stream, etc.

[0027] One or more users 150-1, 150-2, ..., 150-N can watch the live stream and participate in interactive activities through their respective associated terminal devices 160-1, 160-2, ..., 160-N. For ease of discussion, users 150-1, 150-2, ..., 150-N can be collectively referred to as user 150 or individually, and terminal devices 160-1, 160-2, ..., 160-N can be collectively referred to as terminal device 160 or individually. User 150 does not initiate the live stream themselves, but joins the live stream interactive events of the current host user (e.g., user 110) (e.g., e-commerce live stream, product recommendations, etc.). In some scenarios, user 150 can also be referred to as a live stream viewer, listener, viewer, participant, etc.

[0028] It should be understood that although only a single broadcaster user is shown in Figure 1, in some embodiments, multiple broadcaster users may initiate a live stream in a single live streaming room. Although only a single operator is shown in Figure 1, multiple operators may actually manage the live stream in a single live streaming room. Furthermore, although the broadcaster and operator are represented as user 110 and user 130 respectively in the figure, in some embodiments, user 110 and user 130 may be the same user.

[0029] In some embodiments, terminal devices 120, 140, and 160 may each have an application or website that can provide live streaming services, an application or website that can manage live streaming, and an application or website that can access live streaming services installed on them. Users 110, 130, and 150 can operate terminal devices 120, 140, and 160 to access the corresponding application or website.

[0030] Accordingly, terminal devices 120 and 160 can present a live streaming interface, which can provide live streaming content, such as audio or video content. Terminal device 140 can present a live streaming management interface, which can receive various configurations for the live streaming.

[0031] In some embodiments, terminal devices 120, 140, and 160 can also communicate with server 170 via network 172 to provide live streaming services. Server 170 can provide functions such as application or website management, configuration, and maintenance. In some embodiments, server 170 can store data generated during the live streaming process, including live interaction data generated during live streaming interactions.

[0032] Terminal devices 120, 140, and 160 can be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal, or portable terminal, including mobile phones, desktop computers, laptop computers, notebook computers, netbook computers, tablet computers, media computers, multimedia tablets, personal communication system (PCS) devices, personal navigation devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), audio / video players, digital cameras / camcorders, television receivers, radio receivers, e-book devices, gaming devices, or any combination thereof, including accessories and peripherals of these devices or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, terminal devices 120, 140, and 160 may also support any type of user-facing interface (such as "wearable" circuitry).

[0033] Server 170 can be a standalone physical server, a server cluster or distributed system composed of multiple physical servers, or a cloud server providing basic cloud computing services such as cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communication, middleware services, domain name services, security services, content delivery networks, and big data and artificial intelligence platforms. Server 170 may include, for example, computing systems / servers such as mainframes, edge computing nodes, computing devices in cloud environments, etc.

[0034] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of this disclosure.

[0035] Figures 2A and 2B illustrate schematic diagrams of example live streaming interfaces 200A and 200B. The interfaces shown in example live streaming interfaces 200A and 200B can be displayed on terminal device 120 or terminal device 160. For ease of discussion, example live streaming interfaces 200A and 200B will be described with reference to the environment 100 of Figure 1. Terminal device 120 or terminal device 160 can interact by receiving operations from associated users (i.e., user 110 or user 150) to present corresponding interaction results.

[0036] This article uses example live streaming interfaces 200A and 200B presented on terminal device 160 as examples for illustrative purposes. It is understood that the live streaming interfaces presented on terminal device 120 and 160 may differ in some aspects.

[0037] As shown in Figure 2A, the example live streaming interface 200A may include interactive controls (e.g., a follow control) for the corresponding broadcaster. The terminal device 160 may, for example, respond to the triggering of the interactive controls by performing corresponding interactions with the broadcaster (e.g., following, favoriteing, liking, etc.). The example live streaming interface 200A may include controls for acquiring interactive resources available in the live stream. Interactive resources may include at least one type of virtual resource. The terminal device 160 may acquire the corresponding virtual resource in response to the triggering of the acquisition control. The number of virtual resources acquired by the terminal device 160 each time may be pre-configured by the broadcaster or randomly determined.

[0038] Virtual resources, sometimes referred to as incentives, refer to resources or incentives that a user can obtain after completing an interactive task. Examples of virtual resources may include, but are not limited to, physical or virtual objects, coupons, points incentives, etc. Virtual resources in live streaming are typically configurable. This disclosure does not limit the specific virtual resources. Terminal device 160 can acquire interactive resources of the corresponding type in response to the triggering of an acquisition control.

[0039] During a live stream, the content can be associated with one or more objects, which may include physical goods / services, virtual goods / services, digital content / physical content, and so on. In some embodiments, when the current live stream content is an explanation or demonstration of a specific object, the terminal device 160 can display an information display area 210, which may also be referred to as an information card, object information card, product information card, etc. The information display area 210 is configured to display at least one information element associated with the object. Taking product A as an example, the at least one information element associated with product A may include any appropriate content such as the place of origin, shelf life, efficacy, and net content of product A. By displaying information cards in the live stream interface, users watching the live stream can quickly obtain summary information related to the current object.

[0040] As shown in Figures 2A and 2B, in some embodiments, terminal device 160 can present the information presentation area 210 shown in example live streaming interface 200A, and in response to receiving a trigger on the information presentation area 210, present the information presentation area 210 shown in example live streaming interface 200B. Terminal device 160 can also present the information presentation area 210 shown in example live streaming interface 200B, and in response to receiving a trigger on the information presentation area 210, present the information presentation area 210 shown in example live streaming interface 200A.

[0041] The information display area 210 shown in the example live broadcast interface 200A can be regarded as a thumbnailed state of the information display area 210, and the information display area 210 shown in the example live broadcast interface 200B can be regarded as an expanded state of the information display area 210. That is, the terminal device 160 can switch the display state of the information display area 210 (switching between the thumbnailed state and the expanded state) in response to the triggering of the information display area 210.

[0042] As shown in example live streaming interface 200A, in the thumbnail state, the information display area 210 may only include the object's identifier (e.g., the object's thumbnail, object's name, object's image, object's code, etc.) and instruction text indicating that the current area is the information display area (e.g., the text "Product Information" shown in Figure 2A). As shown in example live streaming interface 200B, in the expanded state, the information display area 210 may include the object's identifier, instruction text, and at least one information element associated with the object (e.g., "Ingredients: XXX Net Content: XXX Shelf Life: XXX" shown in Figure 2B).

[0043] Therefore, if a user wishes to view the information elements of an object, they can do so via the expanded information display area 210. If a user wishes to better view the live stream, they can maintain the thumbnailed information display area 210 to reduce obstruction of the live stream image. It is understood that the default display state of the information display area 210 can be either thumbnailed or expanded, and this disclosure does not limit this.

[0044] When the current live stream content is an explanation or demonstration of a specific object, the terminal device 160 can also display an object presentation window 230, showcasing the object currently being explained or demonstrated. The object presentation window 230 can also be referred to as an object card, product card, etc. The terminal device 160 can respond to a trigger on the object presentation window 230 by directly displaying the corresponding object's interface. This allows users to easily learn about object information and perform further operations on objects of interest through the live stream. For example, if the object currently displayed in the object presentation window 230 is product A, the terminal device 160 can respond to a trigger on the object presentation window 230 by directly displaying product A's details page or product A's purchase page. The information presentation area 210 and the object presentation window 230 can be collectively referred to as the object's interface elements.

[0045] The example live streaming interface 200A may also include an input field 225. The terminal device 160 may receive user input from a user via the input field 225. The terminal device 160 may also determine the received user input as a comment message from the user regarding a comment. The live streaming interface may at least include a comment area for presenting comment messages related to the live stream. The comment area has certain dimensions (i.e., length and width), and the comment messages within the comment area can be scrolled. For example, the live streaming interface shown in example live streaming interface 200A may include a comment area 220 for presenting comment messages. In some embodiments, the comment area 220 may also present other types of interactive messages besides comment messages; this disclosure does not limit the specific messages presented in the comment area 220.

[0046] Traditionally, live streaming providers or operators can only set whether or not to display object interface elements in the live stream interface, but cannot configure the specific content of these elements. For example, they can typically only set whether to display object information cards, but not which information elements to display within those cards. This may result in the information elements displayed on the information cards in the live stream interface not being the information elements the provider or operator intends to display, or the information elements displayed on the information cards not being the information elements that viewers are interested in.

[0047] In view of this, according to embodiments of the present disclosure, an improved interface configuration scheme is provided. According to this scheme, in response to a triggering of a first object in the object configuration interface of a live stream, an information configuration interface for a first interface element corresponding to the first object is presented. The first interface element is to be presented in the live stream interface when the first object is selected, and the information configuration interface is configured to present multiple information elements associated with the first object. The selection of at least one of the multiple information elements is received via the information configuration interface. The first interface element is configured based at least on the selected at least one information element.

[0048] Therefore, live streaming operators can easily and quickly arrange the elements of the first screen of the content, allowing them to select at least one information element they wish to display. This helps improve the quality of at least one information element in the first screen.

[0049] In this disclosure, "trigger" refers to one or more interactive actions performed by a user on a terminal device. Furthermore, these interactive actions may be triggered within the same user interface / pop-up window or within different user interfaces / pop-up windows. This disclosure is not limited in this respect.

[0050] In this disclosure, "object" can refer to any physical or virtual object, including but not limited to physical or virtual goods, media works, etc.

[0051] The following description, in conjunction with Figures 3A to 3D, illustrates some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. Figures 3A to 3D show schematic diagrams of exemplary interfaces 300A to 300D for interface configuration according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The interface configuration method involved in this disclosure can be implemented on terminal device 140 (i.e., exemplary interfaces 300A to 300D are exemplary interfaces presented to terminal device 140). It should be noted that the operations performed by terminal device 140 may specifically be performed by relevant applications installed on terminal device 140. Some operations described with reference to terminal device 140 may require the assistance of server 170 to complete.

[0052] It should be understood that the example interfaces 300A to 300D and the other interfaces described herein are merely examples, and various interface designs may actually exist. The various graphic elements in the interface may have different arrangements and different visual representations, one or more elements may be omitted or replaced, and one or more other elements may also be present. The embodiments of this disclosure are not limited in this respect.

[0053] Terminal device 140 can present an object configuration interface for live streaming objects. The object configuration interface can include a list of objects, which includes multiple objects associated with the live stream. The object configuration interface can be configured to perform configuration on the objects in the object list. Referring to Figure 3A, example interface 300A shows an example of an object configuration interface. Example interface 300A can include an object list, which includes at least regions 310-1, 310-2, 310-3, 310-4, and 310-5, each region corresponding to one object. It is understood that terminal device 110 can present more regions in response to receiving an up or down swipe operation.

[0054] Terminal device 140 can respond to a trigger on a first object (which can be any of multiple objects) in the object configuration interface, and present the information configuration interface of the first interface element corresponding to the first object. The trigger can be any appropriate trigger, such as a trigger on a control associated with the first object, a trigger on the area corresponding to the first object, etc. The first object can correspond to multiple interface elements (e.g., the information presentation area and object presentation window mentioned above), and the first interface element can be a specific interface element among the multiple interface elements, or any interface element among the first interface elements. The first interface element should be presented in the live streaming interface when the first object is selected.

[0055] In this article, the first interface element is described using the aforementioned information presentation area as an example. During the live broadcast, the terminal device 140 can respond to the selection of a first object, causing the first interface element to be presented on the live broadcast interface. The first interface element includes at least one selected information element. As an example, during the live broadcast, the terminal device 140 can respond to receiving the selection of product A, determine that product A should be explained / displayed live, and cause the information presentation area corresponding to product A to be presented on the live broadcast interface.

[0056] Referring to Figure 3A, terminal device 140 can, in response to a trigger received in example interface 300A for an object (e.g., a trigger for control 320 in area 310-1), present a settings panel 330 for that object. The settings panel 330 includes at least interactive controls 331 for configuring first interface elements. Terminal device 140 can, in response to a trigger on interactive controls 331, present an information configuration interface.

[0057] The information configuration interface can be configured to present multiple information elements associated with a first object. These multiple information elements may include pre-determined, specified information elements, or information elements received during the configuration process of the first object. The terminal device 140 can receive a selection of at least one of the multiple information elements via the information configuration interface, and configure the first interface elements based at least on the selected at least one information element. The number of information elements included in the at least one information element can be any suitable number, with a maximum value that can be a pre-set specified number. For example, the at least one information element can be pre-set to include a maximum of five information elements.

[0058] Referring to Figure 3B, the example interface 300B includes interface 340, which illustrates an example of an information configuration interface. It should be noted that although interface 340 is overlaid on the object configuration interface in example interface 300B, and the size of interface 340 is smaller than that of example interface 300B, in some embodiments, interface 340 may be an interface unrelated to the object configuration interface.

[0059] Interface 340 may include region 350 (which may also be referred to as a first configuration region), and region 350 may include option 351 (which may also be referred to as a first configuration item) indicating that a first interface element is allowed to be presented in the live broadcast interface, and option 352 (which may also be referred to as a second configuration item) indicating that the first interface element is not presented in the live broadcast interface. Terminal device 140 may, for example, respond to the selection of option 351 to cause the first interface element to be presented in the live broadcast interface. Terminal device 140 may also, for example, respond to the selection of option 352 to cause the first interface element to be not presented in the live broadcast interface.

[0060] It is understood that terminal device 140 may display the first interface element on the live streaming interface only when option 351 is selected, in response to the selection of the first object. If option 352 is selected, terminal device 140 will not display the first interface element on the live streaming interface even if it receives the selection of the first object during the live streaming process.

[0061] Interface 340 may also display a preview of the first interface element in the live streaming interface. In some embodiments, terminal device 140 may display a preview of the first interface element in the live streaming interface in interface 340 only when option 351 is selected. In some embodiments, terminal device 140 may also display a preview of the first interface element in the live streaming interface directly in interface 340 by default. For example, terminal device 140 may display a preview of the first interface element in the live streaming interface at any appropriate location on interface 340. In some embodiments, terminal device 140 may display an example 353 of the live streaming interface in area 350, and display a preview 354 of the first interface element in the live streaming interface in example 353. If no information element is selected, preview 354 may display a prompt text indicating that no information element has been selected (e.g., the text "No content to display has been selected" shown in the figure).

[0062] Interface 340 may also include region 360, which displays multiple information elements associated with the first object (e.g., fabric material: XXXX, target audience: XXXX, etc., as shown in the figure). Terminal device 140 can receive selection of at least one of the multiple information elements via region 360. Terminal device 140 can configure the first interface element based on the selected at least one information element. Terminal device 140 may, for example, display the example interface 300C shown in FIG. 3C. Terminal device 140 can display a preview 354 based on the selected at least one information element, whereby preview 354 indicates the at least one information element included in the first interface element.

[0063] In some embodiments, the interface 340 may further include a control 371. The terminal device 140 may, in response to a triggering of the control 371, reset at least one selected information element. In some embodiments, the interface 340 may further include a region 370 (which may also be referred to as a second configuration region), which, when at least one information element has been selected, may display the sorting of the selected at least one information element within the first interface elements.

[0064] In some embodiments, this sorting can be determined based on the order in which at least one information element is selected. For example, if the information element "Fabric Material: XXXX" is selected first and the information element "Place of Origin: XXXX" is selected second, then the information element "Fabric Material: XXXX" is the first in the sort and the information element "Place of Origin: XXXX" is the second in the sort.

[0065] In some embodiments, this sorting can be determined based on the priority of at least one category of each information element. Taking information elements comprising the six categories shown on the left side of region 360 (i.e., product information, recommendations, price-related information, and other categories) as an example, the priorities of these six categories decrease sequentially from top to bottom as shown in the figure; that is, the descending order of priority for these six categories is: Product Information > Recommendations > Price-related information > Other categories. In this case, the information element corresponding to the category "Product Information" can be ranked higher than the information element corresponding to the category "Recommendations".

[0066] In some embodiments, terminal device 140 may adjust the order of at least one information element in the first interface elements based on the sorting adjustment of at least one information element in region 370. Terminal device 140 may receive the sorting adjustment of at least one information element in any suitable manner. In some embodiments, terminal device 140 may adjust the order of the information element in the first interface elements based on the position where the drag operation stops, in response to receiving a drag operation on one of the at least one information element.

[0067] As an example, referring to Figures 3C and 3D, terminal device 140 can, in response to receiving an upward drag operation on the information element "Origin: XXXX" in example interface 300C, adjust the order of the information element "Origin: XXXX" in the first interface elements to be forward. Terminal device 140 can, for example, present example interface 300D, in which the information element "Origin: XXXX" is the first element in the first interface elements.
