Abstract
Description
Disposable diaper
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a disposable diaper.
[0002] Conventionally, there has been known a disposable diaper that is used by disposing an absorbent pad on the skin side (inner side) of a tape-type diaper main body (see, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2). In a conventional disposable diaper, a mark portion serving as a guide for the mounting position of the absorbent pad is provided on the skin-side surface of the diaper main body. Further, in a conventional disposable diaper, mark portions for positioning are provided on each of the skin-side surface and the non-skin-side surface of both the diaper main body and the absorbent pad.
[0003] Japanese Patent No. 4796867 Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2023-182379
[0004] However, in conventional disposable diapers, the position of the absorbent pad cannot be visually recognized from the non-skin side (outer side) of the diaper main body. For this reason, even if the position of the absorbent pad shifts after the diaper main body is put on with the absorbent pad placed therein, a caregiver or the like cannot grasp the positional shift of the absorbent pad. As a result, there is a risk that excrement or the like may leak.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made focusing on the above problem, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a disposable diaper that allows the position of the absorbent pad to be grasped from the non-skin side of the diaper main body.
[0006] To achieve the above objective, the disposable diaper of the present disclosure comprises a diaper body having a first top sheet, a first back sheet, and a first absorbent disposed between them, and an absorbent pad having a second top sheet, a second back sheet, and a second absorbent disposed between them, and disposed on the skin side of the diaper body, wherein the first back sheet is provided with a first mark on the non-skin side, and the second back sheet is provided with a second mark on the non-skin side, and the first and second mark are positioned to be close to or overlap in a plan view when the absorbent pad is disposed on the skin side of the diaper body, and the diaper body is configured such that the basis weight of at least a portion of the area in which the second mark overlaps in a plan view when the absorbent pad is disposed on the skin side is set to a basis weight that allows the second mark to be seen through the diaper body from the non-skin side.
[0007] This allows the disposable diaper of this disclosure to allow the position of the absorbent pad to be determined from the non-skin side of the diaper body.

[0009] The form for implementing the disposable diaper according to this disclosure will be described below based on the drawings. In the following description, the direction extending from the ventral side to the dorsal side, corresponding to the wearer's front-to-back direction, is referred to as the "longitudinal direction L," and the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L is referred to as the "width direction W." Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W is referred to as the "thickness direction H." In addition, in the thickness direction H, the side closer to the wearer's body when worn is referred to as the "skin side," and the side closer to clothing when worn is referred to as the "non-skin side."
[0010] As shown in Figure 1, the disposable diaper 1 of this embodiment comprises a tape-fastening diaper body 10 and an absorbent pad 20 that is detachably placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10.
[0011] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the diaper body 10 has an elongated shape in the longitudinal direction L when viewed from above. The diaper body 10 is integrally formed with the ventral portion 10X, the dorsal portion 10Z, and the crotch portion 10Y between the ventral portion 10X and the dorsal portion 10Z connected in the longitudinal direction L. There are no boundaries or structural differences between the ventral portion 10X and the crotch portion 10Y, or between the dorsal portion 10Z and the crotch portion 10Y. Furthermore, in the diaper body 10, the length in the width direction W of the ventral portion 10X and the dorsal portion 10Z is longer than the length in the width direction W of the crotch portion 10Y.
[0012] The diaper body 10 comprises a first top sheet 11, a first back sheet 12, a first absorbent layer 13, and a first gather sheet 14.
[0013] The first top sheet 11 is positioned on the skin side (inside) and is a sheet material located at least in the center of the width direction W of the diaper body 10. The first top sheet 11 has liquid permeability, meaning it is permeable to liquids, and is made of, for example, a liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric. The first top sheet 11 allows bodily fluids to pass through quickly toward the first absorbent body 13.
[0014] The first backsheet 12 is a sheet material positioned on the non-skin side (outside). The first backsheet 12 has liquid impermeability, meaning it does not allow liquids to pass through. The first backsheet 12 is composed of, for example, a two-layer structure consisting of an inner sheet made of resin film positioned on the inside and an outer sheet made of nonwoven fabric positioned on the outside. The first backsheet 12 prevents the permeation of bodily fluids held by the first absorbent 13, thus preventing clothing from getting wet. The first backsheet 12 has a larger outer shape than the first topsheet 11. The periphery of the first topsheet 11 is fixed to the skin side of the first backsheet 12. The first topsheet 11 can be fixed using, for example, an adhesive such as hot melt or ultrasonic welding.
[0015] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the first backsheet 12 has a first mark 15 on the non-skin side 12a. The first mark 15 is a mark that can be seen from the non-skin side of the diaper body 10. Note that "non-skin side of the diaper body 10" means the outside of the diaper body 10. The first mark 15 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first backsheet 12 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. That is, the first mark 15 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first backsheet 12.
[0016] Furthermore, the first marker portion 15 is formed such that both side edges in the width direction W are symmetrical, for example, with respect to the center line in the width direction W. Here, the both side edges of the first marker portion 15 in the width direction W are formed parallel to each other, for example. Moreover, the length of the first marker portion 15 in the width direction W (hereinafter referred to as "width length W1") is set to be shorter than the minimum length of the absorbent pad 20 in the width direction W (hereinafter referred to as "width length W2").
[0017] The first absorbent layer 13 is a liquid absorbent material laminated between the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12. The first absorbent layer 13 is composed of, for example, absorbent polymer particles and pulp fibers. The first absorbent layer 13 may be wrapped in a core wrap sheet (not shown) made of crepe paper, nonwoven fabric, or the like. The first absorbent layer 13 is located in the center of the diaper body 10 and extends along the longitudinal direction L. Furthermore, the first absorbent layer 13 has a smaller outer shape than the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12. For this reason, the first absorbent layer 13 is not present around the entire circumference of the outer periphery of the diaper body 10.
[0018] Furthermore, the first absorbent 13 has notches 13k at both ends 13a and 13b in the longitudinal direction L. The notches 13k are portions cut out in the middle of the width direction W of both ends 13a and 13b of the first absorbent 13 so as to be recessed toward the center in the longitudinal direction L. In other words, the first absorbent 13 does not exist inside the notches 13k. Note that the notches 13k only need to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L on the side to which the fastening tape 17 is fastened, that is, the end on the ventral side 10X side (end 13a).
[0019] The first gather sheet 14 is an elongated sheet material extending in the longitudinal direction L, positioned on both sides of the diaper body 10 in the width direction W. The first gather sheet 14 is formed of, for example, a water-repellent or liquid-impermeable nonwoven fabric. The outer end of the first gather sheet 14 in the width direction W is fixed to the skin-facing side 11a of the first top sheet 11. Alternatively, the outer end of the first gather sheet 14 in the width direction W may be fixed to the skin-facing side of the first back sheet 12 that extends beyond the first top sheet 11. The first gather sheet 14 can be fixed using, for example, an adhesive such as hot melt or ultrasonic welding. The inner end of the first gather sheet 14 in the width direction W is not fixed to the first top sheet 11, at least in the central part in the longitudinal direction L.
[0020] Multiple first elastic stretch members 16a are provided at the inner end of the first gather sheet 14 in the width direction W. The first elastic stretch members 16a are elastic members that can stretch in the longitudinal direction L. That is, the first elastic stretch members 16a are made of, for example, thread-like or strip-like synthetic rubber. The multiple first elastic stretch members 16a extend over almost the entire length of the first gather sheet 14 and are provided in parallel in the width direction W. Each first elastic stretch member 16a is fixed to the first gather sheet 14 in a predetermined stretched state and contracts in its natural state. "Natural state" means the state in which the disposable diaper 1 is left at rest without applying any external force that stretches any part of it.
[0021] Furthermore, the inner end of the first gathered sheet 14 in the width direction W expands and contracts due to the elastic force of the first elastic stretch member 16a. In addition, the inner end of the first gathered sheet 14 in the width direction W stands up toward the skin as the first elastic stretch member 16a contracts, preventing lateral leakage of excrement, etc. In other words, a so-called three-dimensional gather is formed by the inner end of the first gathered sheet 14 in the width direction W.
[0022] Furthermore, the diaper body 10 is provided with a plurality of second elastic stretch members 16b in the area surrounding the wearer's legs (around the thighs) on both sides in the width direction W. The second elastic stretch members 16b are elastic members that can stretch in the longitudinal direction L, and are made of, for example, thread-like or strip-like synthetic rubber. Each second elastic stretch member 16b is fixed between the first gather sheet 14 and the first back sheet 12 in a predetermined stretched state, and contracts in its natural state.
[0023] Furthermore, the multiple second elastic stretch members 16b are positioned outside the width direction W of the first elastic stretch member 16a and are arranged in parallel in the width direction W. Both sides of the diaper body 10 in the width direction W expand and contract due to the elastic force of the second elastic stretch members 16b, allowing the diaper body 10 to fit around the wearer's legs.
[0024] The diaper body 10 is provided with a pair of fastening tapes 17 on both sides of one end in the longitudinal direction L, in this case the dorsal side portion 10Z. When the disposable diaper 1 is worn, the fastening tapes 17 are fastened to the other end in the longitudinal direction L of the diaper body 10, in this case the ventral side portion 10X. The fastening tapes 17 have a base sheet 17a and a locking portion 17b.
[0025] The base sheet 17a is a sheet material made of, for example, nonwoven fabric, plastic film, poly-laminated nonwoven fabric (nonwoven fabric covered with a thin film of polyethylene), paper, or a composite material thereof. To prevent unnecessary tearing and stretching during use, the base sheet 17a is made of a material with a higher basis weight than the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12. One end of the base sheet 17a in the width direction W is sandwiched between the first gather sheet 14 and the first back sheet 12 and fixed to the diaper body 10. The other end of the base sheet 17a in the width direction W is a free end that is not fixed to the diaper body 10.
[0026] The locking portion 17b is provided on the skin side of the free end of the base sheet 17a. The locking portion 17b is a member that can be locked to the non-skin side 12a of the first back sheet 12. The locking portion 17b is made of, for example, the hook tape of a mechanical fastener (hook-and-loop fastener) or an adhesive material.
[0027] Furthermore, in the diaper body 10, at least a portion of the area where the second mark portion 25 (described later) overlaps in a plan view when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side is set to a see-through basis. "See-through basis" means a basis that allows the second mark portion 25 to be seen through the diaper body 10 from the non-skin side of the diaper body 10. "Plan view" means when viewed from the skin side or non-skin side along the thickness direction H. In this embodiment, in the ventral portion 10X and the dorsal portion 10Z, the area where only the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12 overlap is set to a see-through basis.
[0028] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the absorbent pad 20 has an elongated shape in the longitudinal direction L when viewed from above. That is, the absorbent pad 20 is formed by integrally connecting a ventral portion 20X, a dorsal portion 20Z, and a groin portion 20Y between the ventral portion 20X and the dorsal portion 20Z. There are no boundaries or structural differences between the ventral portion 20X and the groin portion 20Y, or between the dorsal portion 20Z and the groin portion 20Y. In this case, the absorbent pad 20 is constricted in the middle of the longitudinal direction L. The planar shape of the absorbent pad 20 can also be other shapes, such as a rectangle with a constant width W along the entire length of the longitudinal direction L.
[0029] The absorbent pad 20 comprises a second top sheet 21, a second back sheet 22, a second absorbent body 23, and a second gather sheet 24.
[0030] The second top sheet 21 is positioned on the skin side (inside) and is a sheet material that covers the entire surface of the absorbent pad 20. The second top sheet 21 has liquid permeability, meaning it is permeable to liquids, and is formed of, for example, a liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric. The second top sheet 21 allows bodily fluids to pass through quickly toward the second absorbent body 23.
[0031] The second backsheet 22 is a sheet material positioned on the non-skin side (outside). The second backsheet 22 has liquid impermeability, meaning it does not allow liquids to pass through. The second backsheet 22 is composed of, for example, a two-layer structure consisting of an inner sheet made of resin film positioned on the inside and an outer sheet made of nonwoven fabric positioned on the outside. The second backsheet 22 prevents the permeation of bodily fluids held by the second absorbent 23, thus preventing clothing from getting wet. The second backsheet 22 has the same external shape as the second topsheet 21.
[0032] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 5, the second backsheet 22 is provided with a second marker portion 25 on the non-skin side 22a. The second marker portion 25 is a mark visible from the non-skin side of the absorbent pad 20, and is set to a darker color of the same color family as the first marker portion 15. Note that "non-skin side of the absorbent pad 20" means the outside of the absorbent pad 20. One second marker portion 25 is placed on each side of the second backsheet 22 in the width direction W, and it has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. The two second marker portions 25 are positioned symmetrically, for example, across the center line of the width direction W of the absorbent pad 20. The two second marker portions 25 are provided parallel to each other, for example, along the longitudinal direction L.
[0033] Each second marker portion 25 is formed such that both side edges in the width direction W are symmetrical, for example, with respect to the center line in the width direction W. Here, the both side edges of each second marker portion 25 in the width direction W are formed parallel to each other, for example. Furthermore, the length of the spacing between each second marker portion 25 in the width direction W (hereinafter referred to as "spacing width W3") is set to be longer than the width length W1 of the first marker portion 15. As a result, when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10, the second marker portion 25 is close to or overlaps with the first marker portion 15 in a plan view.
[0034] Furthermore, the second backsheet 22 is provided with a plurality of locking members 27 on its non-skin side 22a. The locking members 27 are members that can be locked to the skin side 11a of the first topsheet 11. The locking members 27 are made of, for example, the hook tape of a mechanical fastener (hook-and-loop fastener) or adhesive material. In the example shown in Figure 5, the locking members 27 overlap with the second marking portion 25. However, the locking members 27 may be positioned so as not to overlap with the second marking portion 25. Also, the locking members 27 may not be provided at all.
[0035] The second absorbent 23 is a liquid absorbent material laminated between the second top sheet 21 and the second back sheet 22. The second absorbent 23 is composed of, for example, absorbent polymer particles and pulp fibers. The second absorbent 23 may be wrapped in a core wrap sheet (not shown) made of crepe paper, nonwoven fabric, or the like. The second absorbent 23 is located in the center of the absorbent pad 20 and extends along the longitudinal direction L. Furthermore, the second absorbent 23 has a smaller outer shape than the second top sheet 21 and the second back sheet 22. For this reason, the second absorbent 23 is not present around the entire circumference of the outer periphery of the absorbent pad 20.
[0036] The second gathered sheet 24 is an elongated sheet material extending in the longitudinal direction L, positioned on both sides of the width direction W of the absorbent pad 20. The second gathered sheet 24 is formed of, for example, a water-repellent or liquid-impermeable nonwoven fabric. The outer end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W is fixed to the skin side surface 21a of the second top sheet 21 by, for example, an adhesive such as hot melt or ultrasonic welding. The inner end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W is floating, at least in the central part in the longitudinal direction L, without being fixed to the second top sheet 21.
[0037] Multiple third elastic stretch members 26 are provided at the inner end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W. The third elastic stretch members 26 are elastic members that can stretch in the longitudinal direction L. That is, the third elastic stretch members 26 are made of, for example, thread-like or strip-like synthetic rubber. The multiple third elastic stretch members 26 extend over almost the entire length of the second gathered sheet 24 in the longitudinal direction L and are provided in parallel in the width direction W. Each third elastic stretch member 26 is fixed to the second gathered sheet 24 in a predetermined stretched state and contracts in its natural state.
[0038] Furthermore, the inner end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W expands and contracts due to the elastic force of the third elastic stretch member 26. In addition, the inner end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W stands up toward the skin as the third elastic stretch member 26 contracts, preventing lateral leakage of excrement, etc. In other words, a so-called three-dimensional gather is formed by the inner end of the second gathered sheet 24 in the width direction W.
[0039] The function of the disposable diaper 1 of this embodiment is described below.
[0040] When a disposable diaper 1 is worn, the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10 beforehand. Here, it is desirable that the center of the absorbent pad 20 in the width direction W is positioned so that it approximately coincides with the center of the width direction W of the diaper body 10 (see Figure 6). Once the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10, it is locked to the first top sheet 11 by a locking member 27 provided on the second back sheet 22. This fixes the position of the absorbent pad 20 relative to the diaper body 10.
[0041] The disposable diaper 1 is worn by first placing the absorbent pad 20 on the skin side of the diaper body 10, and then wrapping the diaper body 10 around the wearer's lower abdomen. The disposable diaper 1 is then worn by fastening the fastening tape 17 to the first back sheet 12 on the abdominal side 10X.
[0042] In this disposable diaper 1, a first marking portion 15 is provided on the non-skin side 12a of the first backsheet 12. Also, a second marking portion 25 is provided on the non-skin side 22a of the second backsheet 22.
[0043] In the disposable diaper 1, at least a portion of the area where the second marker portion 25 overlaps in a plan view is set to a transparent basis. A "transparent basis" is a basis that allows the second marker portion 25 to be seen through the diaper body 10 from the non-skin side of the diaper body 10. In this case, in the ventral portion 10X and the dorsal portion 10Z, the area where only the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12 overlap is set to a transparent basis.
[0044] For this reason, in the disposable diaper 1, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, when the absorbent pad 20 is arranged on the skin side, a part of the second indicator portion 25 can be seen through from the non-skin side in the region where the first absorbent body 13 does not exist. That is, the disposable diaper 1 allows the second indicator portion 25 to be visually recognized while the diaper main body 10 is worn.
[0045] Furthermore, the first indicator portion 15 is arranged at the center in the width direction W of the first back sheet 12 and extends over the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. The second indicator portions 25 are respectively arranged on both sides in the width direction W of the second back sheet 22, and extend over the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. Therefore, in the disposable diaper 1 in a state where the absorbent pad 20 is superimposed on the diaper main body 10, the second indicator portions 25 are arranged on both sides of the first indicator portion 15 in the width direction W, and the first indicator portion 15 and the second indicator portion 25 are close to each other or overlap each other in a plan view. Accordingly, in the disposable diaper 1, the first indicator portion 15 and the second indicator portion 25 that can be seen through can be visually recognized simultaneously from the non-skin side of the diaper main body 10.
[0046] Then, in the disposable diaper 1 in a state where the absorbent pad 20 is superimposed on the diaper main body 10, a caregiver or the like can be allowed to recognize the left-right uniformity in the width direction W of the second indicator portion 25 with respect to the first indicator portion 15. Accordingly, the caregiver or the like can determine whether the left-right uniformity in the width direction W of the second indicator portion 25 with respect to the first indicator portion 15 is within a predetermined allowable level. Then, the caregiver or the like can correct the attachment position of the absorbent pad 20 relative to the diaper main body 10 based on the determination as to whether the left-right uniformity exceeds an allowable level.
[0047] That is, the disposable diaper 1 allows a caregiver or the like to grasp the attachment position of the absorbent pad 20 from the non-skin side of the diaper main body 10 with reference to the position of the second indicator portion 25 relative to the first indicator portion 15. Accordingly, even if the position of the absorbent pad 20 is shifted after the diaper main body 10 is put on, a caregiver or the like can reattach the absorbent pad 20 to an appropriate position. And the disposable diaper 1 can prevent leakage of excrement and the like.
[0048] Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1, both side edges of the first mark portion 15 and the two second mark portions 25 extend linearly. Therefore, not only the degree of left-right symmetry in the width direction W but also the degree of inclination of the absorbent pad 20 relative to the diaper main body 10 can be visually recognized by a caregiver or the like.
[0049] Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1, when the area through which the second mark portion 25 can be seen through is small, a caregiver or the like cannot easily visually recognize the second mark portion 25. Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1, since the basis weight in the region where the first absorbent body 13 is present is generally high, when overlapping the first absorbent body 13, it is difficult to make the second mark portion 25 visible through to the non-skin side of the diaper main body 10. That is, in the disposable diaper 1, reducing the area of the first absorbent body 13 and preventing the first absorbent body 13 from overlapping the second mark portion 25 can improve the visibility of the second mark portion 25.
[0050] On the other hand, in a region where the first absorbent body 13 is not present, the problem that the rigidity of the diaper main body 10 decreases may occur. In particular, when the length of the first absorbent body 13 in the longitudinal direction L is short, the rigidity of the end portions in the longitudinal direction L of the diaper main body 10 (particularly the abdominal side portion 10X) decreases, which makes it difficult to attach (wear) the fastening tape 17.
[0051] In contrast to this, in the disposable diaper 1, the first absorbent body 13 has notches 13k at both end portions 13a and 13b in the longitudinal direction L. The notch 13k is a portion formed by notching an intermediate portion of the first absorbent body 13 in the width direction W along the longitudinal direction L. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the disposable diaper 1 can reduce the area of the first absorbent body 13 compared to a case where the notch 13k is not provided. And the disposable diaper 1 can expand the area through which the second mark portion 25 is seen through, and enhance the visibility of the second mark portion 25. Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1, the first absorbent body 13 exists on both side portions of the notch 13k in the width direction W. Thereby, the disposable diaper 1 can suppress a decrease in rigidity of the end portions in the longitudinal direction L of the diaper main body 10, and can prevent a decrease in the wearability of the fastening tape 17.
[0052] The disposable diaper 1A in Example 1 comprises a diaper body 30 shown in Figure 9 and an absorbent pad 20 shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the absorbent pad 20 is as described above.
[0053] The diaper body 30 comprises a first top sheet 31, a first back sheet 32, a first absorbent 33, and a first gather sheet 34. The diaper body 30 also has a pair of fastening tapes 37 on both sides of the back portion 30Z. A first marker portion 35 is provided on the non-skin side 32a of the first back sheet 32. The first marker portion 35 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first back sheet 32 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. That is, the first marker portion 35 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first back sheet 32.
[0054] The diaper body 30 has intermittent absorption regions 38 at both ends in the longitudinal direction L, i.e., the ventral portion 30X and the dorsal portion 30Z. The intermittent absorption region 38 is a region in which the first absorbent material 33 is intermittently arranged along the longitudinal direction L. That is, in the intermittent absorption region 38, regions in which the first absorbent material 33 is arranged and regions in which the first absorbent material 33 is not arranged alternately along the longitudinal direction L. Note that the intermittent absorption region 38 only needs to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L on the side to which the fastening tape 37 is attached, i.e., the ventral portion 30X.
[0055] Therefore, as shown in Figure 10, when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 30 of the disposable diaper 1A of Example 1, the second marker portion 25 can be seen through in the portion of the intermittent absorption area 38 where the first absorbent material 33 is not placed. As a result, the disposable diaper 1A can maintain the visibility of the second marker portion 25 by ensuring an area in which the second marker portion 25 is visible.
[0056] Furthermore, in the intermittent absorption region 38, the reduction in rigidity is suppressed because the first absorbent material 33 is intermittently arranged along the longitudinal direction L. As a result, the disposable diaper 1A can suppress the reduction in rigidity of the ventral portion 30X and the dorsal portion 30Z, which are the ends of the diaper body 30 along the longitudinal direction L. As a result, the disposable diaper 1A can maintain the visibility of the second mark portion 25 while maintaining the ease of fastening the tape 37.
[0057] The disposable diaper 1B in Example 2 comprises a diaper body 40 shown in Figure 11 and an absorbent pad 20 shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the absorbent pad 20 is as described above.
[0058] The diaper body 40 comprises a first top sheet 41, a first back sheet 42, a first absorbent 43, and a first gather sheet 44. The diaper body 40 also has a pair of fastening tapes 47 on both sides of the back portion 40Z. A first marker portion 45 is provided on the non-skin side 42a of the first back sheet 42. The first marker portion 45 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first back sheet 42 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. That is, the first marker portion 45 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first back sheet 42.
[0059] The first absorbent 43 has notches 43k at both ends 43a and 43b in the longitudinal direction L. The notches 43k are the same as the notches 13k in the embodiment, and are the portions of the first absorbent 43 that are cut out in the middle of the width direction W of both ends 43a and 43b so as to be recessed toward the center in the longitudinal direction L. Note that the notches 43k only need to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L to which the fastening tape 47 is fastened, that is, the end on the ventral side 40X side (end 43a).
[0060] Therefore, in the disposable diaper 1B, similar to the disposable diaper 1 of the embodiment, the visibility of the second mark portion 25 can be ensured by the notch portion 43k.
[0061] Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1B, the length W4 in the width direction W of both ends 43a and 43b in the longitudinal direction L of the first absorbent material 43 is set to be longer than the length W5 in the width direction W of the middle part in the longitudinal direction L.
[0062] In other words, the disposable diaper 1B can increase the area of both ends 43a and 43b in the longitudinal direction L of the first absorbent material 43 in the width direction W. As a result, the disposable diaper 1B can further increase the rigidity of the ventral side 40X and dorsal side 40Z of the diaper body 40, and improve the ease of fastening the fastening tape 47.
[0063] The disposable diaper 1C in Example 3 comprises a diaper body 50 shown in Figure 12 and an absorbent pad 20 shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the absorbent pad 20 is as described above.
[0064] The diaper body 50 comprises a first top sheet 51, a first back sheet 52, a first absorbent 53, and a first gather sheet 54. The diaper body 50 also has a pair of fastening tapes 57 on both sides of the back portion 50Z. A first marker portion 55 is provided on the non-skin side 52a of the first back sheet 52. The first marker portion 55 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first back sheet 52 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. In other words, the first marker portion 55 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first back sheet 52.
[0065] The diaper body 50 has intermittent absorption regions 58 at both ends in the longitudinal direction L, i.e., the ventral portion 50X and the dorsal portion 50Z. The intermittent absorption region 58 is a region in which the first absorbent material 53 is intermittently arranged along the longitudinal direction L, similar to the intermittent absorption region 38 in Example 1. The intermittent absorption region 58 only needs to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L on the side to which the fastening tape 57 is attached, i.e., the ventral portion 50X.
[0066] Therefore, similar to the disposable diaper 1A of Example 1, the disposable diaper 1C allows the second marker portion 25 to be visible in the portion of the intermittent absorption area 58 where the first absorbent material 53 is not located. This ensures the visibility of the second marker portion 25 in the disposable diaper 1C.
[0067] Furthermore, in the disposable diaper 1C, the length W6 in the width direction W of the first absorbent material 53 in the intermittent absorption region 58 is set to be longer than the length W7 in the width direction W of the first absorbent material 53 in the middle part of the longitudinal direction L.
[0068] In other words, the disposable diaper 1C can increase the area of the first absorbent material 53 in the intermittent absorption region 58 in the width direction W. As a result, the disposable diaper 1C can further increase the rigidity of the ventral portion 50X and the dorsal portion 50Z of the diaper body 50, and improve the ease of fastening the fastening tape 57.
[0069] The disposable diaper 1D in Example 4 comprises a diaper body 60 shown in Figure 13 and an absorbent pad 20 shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the absorbent pad 20 is as described above.
[0070] The diaper body 60 comprises a first top sheet 61, a first back sheet 62, a first absorbent 63, and a first gather sheet 64. The diaper body 60 also has a pair of fastening tapes 67 on both sides of the back portion 60Z. A first marker portion 65 is provided on the non-skin side 62a of the first back sheet 62. The first marker portion 65 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first back sheet 62 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. In other words, the first marker portion 65 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first back sheet 62.
[0071] Furthermore, the first absorbent 63 has low-weight regions 63t at both ends 63a and 63b in the longitudinal direction L. The low-weight regions 63t are regions of the first absorbent 63 that are set to a weight that allows the second mark portion 25 to be seen through. In Figure 13, the low-weight regions 63t are indicated by dots. In addition, the low-weight regions 63t only need to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L on the side to which the fastening tape 67 is fastened, that is, the end on the ventral side 60X side (end 63a).
[0072] Here, the first absorbent material 63 is present in the low basis weight region 63t, allowing for liquid absorption. Furthermore, the diaper body 60 can suppress a decrease in rigidity due to the low basis weight region 63t. On the other hand, the diaper body 60 allows the second marker portion 25 to be visible from the non-skin side through the low basis weight region 63t. Therefore, the disposable diaper 1D allows for liquid absorption and suppression of a decrease in rigidity of the diaper body 60 through the low basis weight region 63t, while also allowing the second marker portion 25 to be visible. In other words, the disposable diaper 1D can ensure the visibility of the second marker portion 25 while simultaneously suppressing a decrease in liquid absorption performance and rigidity of the ventral portion 60X of the diaper body 60.
[0073] In Example 4, the low basis weight region 63t is set to a predetermined range in the middle of the width direction W of both ends 63a and 63b of the first absorbent 63. The setting range of the low basis weight region 63t can be arbitrarily determined, but if it is too wide, the liquid absorption performance may decrease. Therefore, it is desirable that the setting range of the low basis weight region 63t be determined based on a balance between the liquid absorption performance of the first absorbent 63 and the visibility of the second marker portion 25.
[0074] The disposable diaper 1E in Example 5 comprises a diaper body 70 shown in Figure 14 and an absorbent pad 20 shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the absorbent pad 20 is as described above.
[0075] The diaper body 70 comprises a first top sheet 71, a first back sheet 72, a first absorbent 73, and a first gather sheet 74. The diaper body 70 also has a pair of fastening tapes 77 on both sides of the back portion 70Z. A first marker portion 75 is provided on the non-skin side 72a of the first back sheet 72. The first marker portion 75 is located in the center of the width direction W of the first back sheet 72 and has a band shape that extends along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. In other words, the first marker portion 75 is provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction L of the first back sheet 72.
[0076] The first absorbent 73 has multiple low-weight regions 73t at both ends 73a and 73b in the longitudinal direction L. The low-weight regions 73t are set intermittently along the longitudinal direction L. Similar to the low-weight region 63t in Embodiment 4, the low-weight regions 73t are regions of the first absorbent 73 that are set to a weight that allows the second mark portion 25 to be seen through. In Figure 14, the low-weight regions 73t are indicated by dots. Furthermore, the low-weight regions 73t only need to be formed at least at the end in the longitudinal direction L on the side to which the fastening tape 77 is fastened, that is, the end on the ventral side 70X side (end 73a).
[0077] As a result, the disposable diaper 1E, like the disposable diaper 1D of Example 4, can absorb liquid through the low basis weight region 73t while suppressing a decrease in the rigidity of the diaper body 70. Furthermore, the disposable diaper 1E allows the second mark portion 25 to be seen through the low basis weight region 73t, ensuring the visibility of the second mark portion 25.
[0078] While the disposable diapers of this disclosure are described above, their specific configuration is not limited to those described above. Modifications and additions to the design of the disposable diapers of this disclosure are permitted, as long as they do not deviate from the gist of the invention as described in each claim.
[0079] In the above-described embodiment, an example was shown in which the first marker portion 15 is positioned in the center of the width direction W of the first backsheet 12 and exhibits a band shape extending along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L. In another example, an example was shown in which the second marker portions 25 are positioned on both sides of the width direction W of the second backsheet 22 and exhibit a band shape extending along the entire length in the longitudinal direction L.
[0080] However, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 only need to be positioned in close proximity or overlapping positions in a plan view when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10. Therefore, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 can be of any design.
[0081] In other words, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may have the designs shown in Figures 15(a), 15(b), and 15(c). That is, both the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may have a single or any number of strip-like shapes. In this case, when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 are alternately visible along the width direction W.
[0082] Furthermore, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may have the designs shown in Figures 16(a), 16(b), and 16(c). In other words, when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10, the second marker portion 25 may overlap with the first marker portion 15, and the appearance of the first marker portion 15 may change.
[0083] Furthermore, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may have the designs shown in Figures 17(a) and 17(b). That is, when the absorbent pad 20 is placed on the skin side of the diaper body 10, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 are alternately visible along the width direction W. Furthermore, the second marker portion 25 may overlap the first marker portion 15, changing the appearance of the first marker portion 15.
[0084] Note that the designs of the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 shown in Figures 15(a) to 17(b) may be reversed. In other words, the disposable diaper 1 may use the design of the first marker portion 15 shown in Figures 15(a) to 17(b) as the design of the second marker portion 25. And the disposable diaper 1 may use the design of the second marker portion 25 shown in Figures 15(a) to 17(b) as the design of the first marker portion 15.
[0085] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, an example was shown in which the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 are of the same color family, with the second marker portion 25 being set to a darker color. However, both the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 can be set to any color. That is, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may belong to different color families. Alternatively, the first marker portion 15 and the second marker portion 25 may be of the same color family, with the first marker portion 15 being set to a darker color.
[0086] Furthermore, the first marker portion 15 may be provided at least one end of the diaper body 10 in the longitudinal direction L, that is, either the ventral side 10X or the dorsal side 10Z. Similarly, the second marker portion 25 may be provided at least one end of the absorbent pad 20 in the longitudinal direction L.
[0087] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, an example was shown in which only the area where the first top sheet 11 and the first back sheet 12 overlap was set as the transparent area. However, the diaper body 10 may also have the area where the first top sheet 11, the first back sheet 12, and the first gather sheet 14 overlap set as the transparent area. Alternatively, the entire surface of the diaper body 10, including the area where the first absorbent material 13 overlaps, may be set as the transparent area.
[0088] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, an example was shown in which a pair of fastening tapes 17 are provided on both sides of the dorsal portion 10Z of the diaper body 10 and fastened to the ventral portion 10X. However, the fastening tapes 17 may also be provided on both sides of the ventral portion 10X. In this case, the fastening tapes 17 are fastened to the dorsal portion 10Z of the first backsheet 12.
[0089] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, an example was shown in which the diaper body 10 is a tape-fastening type that is worn by fastening the fastening tape 17. However, the diaper body 10 may also be a pant type in which both sides of the abdominal portion 10X and the dorsal portion 10Z are joined together. Cross-reference of related applications
