[0032] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of this disclosure.

[0033] The following description will continue with reference to the accompanying drawings, which will provide some exemplary embodiments of this disclosure.

[0034] Example 1

[0035] Figures 2A to 2K illustrate example interfaces 200A to 200K according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Interfaces 200A to 200K may be provided, for example, by the electronic device 110 shown in Figure 1.

[0036] As shown in Figure 2A, electronic device 110 can provide interface 200A to user 140. Interface 200A may be, for example, a live streaming interface associated with a live event. After presenting interface 200A, electronic device 110 can present media content viewing component 205 in interface 200A. Media content viewing component 205 may be configured to present live streaming content associated with a live event.

[0037] In some embodiments, to facilitate interaction between the current user and the first user (e.g., sending messages to each other), the electronic device 110 can provide an interaction entry associated with the first user in the live streaming interface. As an example, as shown in Figure 2A, the electronic device 110 can present an interaction entry in interface 200A. Such an interaction entry can be placed in any appropriate location in interface 200A, for example, it can be placed in the area where a set of comments is located in the live streaming interface. In some scenarios, the electronic device 110 can also present an interaction entry in interface 200A in response to a user's interaction with the first comment in a set of comments. Here, the first comment is associated with the first user, and the interaction entry can also be associated with the first user. Such an interaction can be, for example, a click operation, a long press operation, or any appropriate operation related to the first comment.

[0038] In some embodiments, to make the live streaming interface more concise, the electronic device 110 may display the first comment from the first user on the live streaming interface. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 may display an interactive entry point on the live streaming interface in response to the triggering of the first comment.

[0039] As an example, as shown in Figure 2A, the electronic device 110 can present a public comment component 210 on the interface 200A, which includes a set of comments. Such a set of comments could be interactive information posted by a group of users watching the live stream. This interactive information could include prompts for users to like the live stream, posted text messages, image messages, or prompts to send virtual gifts. The set of comments includes at least a first comment 211, which is associated with a first user. After the electronic device 110 receives an interaction from user 140 with the first comment 211, the electronic device 110 can present an interactive entry associated with the first comment 211 on the interface 200A to allow user 140 to send a message to the first user. Such an interaction could be a click, long press, or any other appropriate interaction by user 140 with the first comment 211.

[0040] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present a first interactive panel in response to a triggering of a first comment. The first interactive panel includes an interactive entry point. As an example, as shown in FIG2A, after receiving a click from user 140 on the first comment, the electronic device 110 may present an interactive panel 215 (i.e., the first interactive panel) associated with the first comment. The interactive panel 215 includes multiple controls for interacting with the first user. Such controls may include, for example, information viewing controls, like controls, feedback controls, copy controls, etc. The electronic device 110 may obtain user 140's interaction request for the first user through these controls, and perform interactive events with the first user based on such interaction requests. Such interactive events may include, for example, liking the first user's first comment, viewing the first user's relevant information, etc. After the interactive panel 215 is presented, the electronic device 110 may provide an interactive entry point 220 to user 140 within the interactive panel 215, so as to send a message to the first user through the interactive entry point 220.

[0041] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present an interactive entry not only in the interactive panel 215, but also in a viewing panel associated with the first user. Specifically, in response to receiving a viewing request associated with the first user, the electronic device 110 may present a viewing panel associated with the first user on the live streaming interface. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 may present an interactive entry in the viewing panel.

[0042] As an example, as shown in Figures 2A and 2B, the electronic device 110 can provide an information viewing control 225 in the interactive panel 215 (i.e., the first interactive panel). When the information viewing control 225 is clicked by the user 140, the electronic device 110 can generate a viewing request based on the click operation. Further, the electronic device can present a viewing panel 230 in the interface 200B in response to the viewing request. The viewing panel 230 includes reference information associated with the first user, such as the user identifier of the first user, the number of users following the first user (also known as the number of followers), etc. The viewing panel 230 also includes multiple interactive controls that support interaction between the user 140 and the first user, such as follow controls, feedback controls, or other appropriate controls. After the viewing panel 230 is presented, the electronic device 110 can present an interactive entry 235 in the interface 200B. The embodiments of this disclosure support users to trigger the presentation of the interactive entry through different interactive operations. In this way, the embodiments of this disclosure can effectively improve the presentation efficiency of the interactive entry.

[0043] In some scenarios, as shown in Figure 2C, when the current user is the live streamer, after receiving the live streamer's (i.e., the current user, or user 140) interaction with the first comment 211, the electronic device 110 can present the extension component 240. The extension component 240 is configured to support the live streamer's interaction with the first user or to adjust the first user's interaction permissions. For example, the electronic device 110 can receive the live streamer's permission adjustment request for the first user via the extension component 240, so that the server 130 can adjust the first user's interaction permissions based on the permission adjustment request. Such interaction permission adjustments could, for example, prohibit the first user from sending comments. After the extension component 240 is presented, the electronic device 110 can provide the live streamer with an interaction entry 245 within the extension component 240 for sending messages to the first user.

[0044] Alternatively or additionally, the electronic device 110 may provide multiple interactive controls to the live streamer in the extension component 240. These interactive controls are used to support interaction between the live streamer and the first user. Such interactive controls may include, for example, a pinned control 246, a priority display control 247, a work viewing control 248, and a permission setting control 249. The functions of these interactive controls will be described below.

[0045] In some scenarios, electronic device 110 can receive a reply message from the live streamer to the first comment 211 via the pin control 246. Furthermore, after sending the reply message to the first user via the pin control 246, electronic device 110 can also pin the first comment 211 to the live stream interface so that the first comment 211 will not be replaced by comments sent by other users.

[0046] Alternatively or additionally, electronic device 110 may receive a selection from the live streamer regarding the priority display control 247. Upon receiving this selection, electronic device 110, after receiving the second message, may prioritize displaying comments associated with the second message on the live stream interface, displaying these comments in a preset style. Such a preset style could be, for example, a highlight style, a bold style, or any other suitable style. For instance, when the priority display control 247 is selected and electronic device 110 receives the second message, electronic device 110 may display comments associated with the second message in a highlighted style on the live stream interface and keep these comments fixed on the live stream interface for a preset time period.

[0047] Alternatively or additionally, after receiving a selection from the live streamer regarding the viewing control 248, the electronic device 110 can display the first user's work details page on the interface. The work details page includes multiple works published by the first user. Such works include video content, image content, or text content published by the first user.

[0048] Alternatively or additionally, when electronic device 110 receives an interactive operation from the live streamer on the permission setting control 249, electronic device 110 can obtain the permission setting request associated with the interactive operation and send the permission setting request to server 130 to adjust the permissions of the first user in the live stream. Such permissions may include, for example, whether the first user is allowed to send comments, whether the first user is allowed to watch the live stream, and whether the first user is allowed to receive private chat messages sent by the first user.

[0049] In some embodiments, after the interactive entry point is presented, the electronic device 110 can receive a first message sent by the user 140 to the first user via the interactive entry point, and then send the first message to the first user. Specifically, the electronic device 110 sends the first message to the first user via the interactive entry point. As an example, as shown in Figures 2A and 2D, after receiving the user 140's selection of the interactive entry point 220, the electronic device 110 can present an information input panel 250 in the interface 200D. The electronic device 110 can obtain the first message sent by the user 140 to the first user via the information input panel 250. After the first message is obtained by the electronic device 110, the electronic device 110 can send the first message to the first user.

[0050] In some scenarios, in order to make it clearer to the user 140 about the message recipient, the electronic device 110 can display a reminder element 256 in the interface 200D after the information input panel 250 is presented. The reminder element 256 includes the name and avatar of the first user.

[0051] In some embodiments, after the first message is sent, the electronic device 110 can also display the sent first message on the live streaming interface. Specifically, the electronic device 110 can send the first message to the first user via the public comment component in the live streaming interface. The first message in the public comment component is only visible to the first user and the current user. As an example, as shown in FIG2E, the electronic device 110 can receive the first message sent by user 140 to the first user. Further, the electronic device 110 can respond to the message sending request triggered by user 140, send the first message to the first user, and display the first message 256 in the public comment component 255 in the interface 200E. Although the first message 256 is displayed in the public comment component 255, the first message 256 can only be viewed by user 140 and the first user, and other users cannot view it.

[0052] In some embodiments, to better indicate the visibility range of the first message, the electronic device 110 may display a prompt element at the area where the first message is located. Specifically, the first message is associated with a prompt element, which indicates that the first message is visible to the first user and the current user.

[0053] As an example, as shown in Figure 2E, when the first message 256 is presented in the public comment component 255, the electronic device 110 can display a prompt element 257 in the area where the first message 256 is located. The prompt element 257 is used to indicate the visibility range of the first message 256, which may be, for example, "This message is only visible to you and user A".

[0054] In some embodiments, after receiving a second message from the first user in response to the first message, the electronic device 110 can present the second message to the user 140 in the live streaming interface. Specifically, the electronic device 110 can respond to the first user's reply to the first message by presenting the first message and the second message corresponding to the reply in a chat channel in the live streaming interface. The chat channel is created in response to the first user's reply and is specific to the first user and the current user.

[0055] As an example, as shown in Figure 2F, after the first user replies to the first message, the server 130 can determine whether a private chat channel (i.e., conversation channel 260) exists between the first user and user 140 (i.e., the current user). If it is determined that the private chat channel does not exist, the server 130 can create a private chat channel for the first user and user 140 (i.e., the current user) based on the first user's reply operation, and send a second message associated with the reply operation to the electronic device 110. When the electronic device 110 receives the second message, it can display conversation channel 260 on interface 200F, and present the second message within conversation channel 260.

[0056] In some embodiments, to avoid affecting the user's viewing of comments on the live stream interface, when the electronic device 110 receives the second message, it may first display preset tags on the live stream interface. After receiving the user 140's selection of the preset tags, the chat channel will then be displayed. Specifically, the electronic device 110 may display preset tags on the live stream interface in response to the first user's reply to the first message. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 may display a first element associated with the first channel entry in response to receiving a new message in the chat channel.

[0057] As an example, as shown in Figure 2G, when electronic device 110 receives a second message, it can display a preset label 270 on interface 200G. The preset label 270 can, for example, be associated with the conversation channel of the message currently received by electronic device 110. For instance, if electronic device 110 is currently receiving a second message, then the preset label 270 can be associated with the conversation channel associated with the second message (i.e., the private chat channel between the first user and user 140). The preset label 270 includes preset elements, which can be presented, for example, as a "red dot," to indicate the presence of unread messages in the conversation channel. In some scenarios, the first element can also be, for example, the first user's avatar, to indicate that a second message sent by the first user has been received.

[0058] Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can present a session window of the session channel in response to a triggering of the preset tag 270. As an example, as shown in Figures 2F and 2G, the electronic device 110 can receive a click operation from the user 140 on the preset tag 270. After receiving the click operation on the preset tag 270, the electronic device 110 can present a session window 265 associated with the session channel. Such a session window 265 can be, for example, a first session window associated with the current user and a first user. When the session window 265 is presented, the electronic device 110 can present a first message and a second message in the session window 265 of the session channel 260. The session window 265 also presents at least one historical message sent by the current user to the first user via an interaction entry. In some scenarios, when the electronic device 110 receives a message from the first user, the electronic device 110 can present a first element at the channel entry 275 (i.e., the first channel entry) in the session channel 260. The first element can be, for example, an element with a "red dot" style.

[0059] In some embodiments, when the session window 265 is presented, the electronic device 110 may present a first channel entry in the session channel 260 in a first style to indicate that the session window 265 is associated with the first channel entry. Specifically, the electronic device 110 may display the first channel entry in a first style in response to the presentation of the session window of the session channel. The first style indicates that the first user's image and text identifiers are displayed in the first channel entry. Further, the electronic device 110 may display the first channel entry in a second style in response to the hiding of the session window of the session channel, the second style indicating that the first user's image identifier is displayed in the first channel entry.

[0060] As an example, as shown in Figure 2F, the electronic device 110 may also provide multiple channel entries in the conversation channel 260. These multiple channel entries are associated with different conversation channels, which could be private chat channels between user 140 and a first user and other users (e.g., a second user), or group chat channels between user 140 and multiple users. The multiple channel entries in the conversation channel 260 may include, for example, channel entry 275 and channel entry 276, where channel entry 275 is associated with the private chat channel between user 140 and the first user, and channel entry 276 may be associated, for example, with the private chat channel between user 140 and the second user.

[0061] When session window 265 is presented, channel entry 275 (i.e., the first channel entry) is in expanded style (i.e., the first style). Expanded style indicates that channel entry 275 (i.e., the first channel entry) displays user 140 and the first user's avatar (i.e., the first user's image identifier) and the first user's name (i.e., the first user's text identifier). Channel entry 276 is in collapsed style (i.e., the second style), which indicates that channel entry 276 only displays the second user's avatar.

[0062] In some scenarios, as shown in Figure 2H, when the electronic device 110 receives the selection of channel entry 276 by user 140, it can adjust channel entry 275 to a collapsed style (i.e., channel entry 275 only displays the avatar of the first user) and adjust channel entry 276 to an expanded style.

[0063] In some embodiments, electronic device 110 may, in response to receiving a new message in a set of conversation channels associated with the private chat tab, present a second element associated with a preset tag of the private chat tab. As an example, as shown in FIG2H, when electronic device 110 receives a third message sent by a second user, electronic device 110 may present the second element at the location of the preset tag 270 in the private chat tab 280. The second element may be presented, for example, as a "red dot," and in some scenarios, the second element may also be the second user's avatar. Such a second element is used to indicate that electronic device 110 has received a message sent by the second user. In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can more clearly notify users of new messages, thereby providing users with a better interactive experience.

[0064] Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can switch the private chat tab to the second conversation window of the second conversation channel that received the new message in response to a preset operation on a preset tag. As an example, as shown in Figures 2F and 2H, when the preset tag 270 is selected by the user 140, the electronic device 110 can switch the conversation window 265 in the private chat tab 280 to the second conversation window 285 associated with the second conversation channel. The second conversation window 285 includes a third message sent by the second user, as well as historical messages associated with both the current user and the second user. In this way, embodiments of this disclosure can present the conversation window that received the new message by selecting a preset tag (e.g., after receiving a third message, clicking the preset tag presents the second conversation window associated with the third message), thereby improving the efficiency of information presentation.

[0065] In a scenario where unread messages exist in multiple conversation channels associated with user 140, electronic device 110 can sort the multiple conversation channels based on the time the unread messages were received, placing the conversation channel that received the message last at the top. When preset label 270 is clicked, electronic device 110 can display the conversation window of the conversation channel that is ranked first among the multiple conversation channels. This conversation channel could be, for example, the conversation channel containing the first unread message (i.e., the latest unread message received). When preset label 270 is clicked again, electronic device 110 can display the conversation window of the conversation channel that is ranked second among the multiple conversation channels. The conversation channel ranked second includes the second unread message, whose reception time is second only to the first unread message.

[0066] In some embodiments, after the second session window is presented, the electronic device 110 can adjust the presentation style of the second channel entry. Specifically, the electronic device 110 can adjust the display style of the second channel entry corresponding to the second session channel in response to a preset operation of a preset label. As an example, as shown in FIG2H, after the second session window 285 is presented, the electronic device 110 can adjust the state of the channel entry 276 (i.e., the second channel entry) to an expanded style. In other words, after the second session window 286 is presented, the electronic device 110 can display the avatars of the current user and the second user, as well as information such as the name of the second user, in the channel entry 276.

[0067] In this way, the embodiments of this disclosure can create a conversation channel between the first user and the current user after receiving a reply from the first user to the first message, thereby improving the efficiency of conversation channel creation.

[0068] Example 2

[0069] Once the first user receives the first message sent by the current user, they can reply to it. The following section will describe the interaction process when the first user replies to the first message.

[0070] In some embodiments, when a terminal device associated with a first user receives a first message, as shown in FIG2I, the terminal device may present the first message 290 in interface 200I. The first message 290 includes a prompt element 291, which can be used to indicate that the first message 290 is only visible to the first user.

[0071] The terminal device can receive a click from the first user on the first message 290 and display an interactive panel 292 on the interface 200I. The interactive panel 292 includes multiple controls that support interaction between the first user and user 140, including at least a reply control 293.

[0072] When the first user clicks the reply control 293, the electronic device 110 can display the information input panel 294 as shown in FIG2J. The information input panel 294 is configured to support the first user's reply to the first message. Further, the terminal device can receive the second message from the first user in response to the first message via the information input panel 294, and send the second message to the electronic device 110 associated with the user 140.

[0073] In some embodiments, the first user can be a live streamer associated with the live event. When the first user is a live streamer, after the terminal device receives the first user's click on the first message 290, it can display an interactive panel 295 as shown in Figure 2K. The interactive panel 295 includes multiple interactive controls, such as those that allow the user to trigger interaction between the live streamer and user 140. For example, the terminal device can receive a permission configuration request for user 140 via the interactive panel 295. After receiving the permission configuration request, the terminal device can send the permission configuration request to the server 130 to configure the permissions for user 140. Such a permission configuration request could be, for example, prohibiting user 140 from sending comments or stopping the receipt of messages sent by user 140.

[0074] After the interactive panel 295 is presented, the terminal device can present the reply control 296 in the interactive panel 295 to send a reply message (i.e., the second message) to the user 140 via the reply control 296.
