Description

REPORTING FOR LINKED CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING SETTINGS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONSTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] This document is directed generally to reporting results associated with linked channel state information (CSI) reporting settings in wireless communications.BACKGROUND

[0002] Multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) technology in wireless communication systems may depend highly on accurate feedback of the downlink channel status, which requires a relatively large amount of overhead, and in turn decreases system efficiency. In addition, in some wireless communication systems, channel state information (CSI) may be compressed, such as by an artificial intelligence (AI) model at the user equipment (UE) side, and may be reconstructed by an AI model at the base station side. However, one or more of the AI models may fluctuate, decreasing the accuracy of the CSI compression and reconstruction. As such, ways to optimally communicate downlink channel status and guard against AI model fluctuation may be desirable.SUMMARY

[0003] This document relates to methods, systems, apparatuses and devices for wireless communication. In some implementations, a method for wireless communication includes: transmitting, by a user device to a network device, a reporting of an inference result for a first report associated with a first channel state information (CSI) reporting setting; and transmitting, by the user device to the network device, a reporting of a monitoring result for a second report associated with a second CSI reporting setting, wherein the second CSI reporting setting is linked to the first CSI reporting setting.

[0004] In some other implementations, a method for wireless communication includes: receiving, by a network device from a user device, a reporting of an inference result for a first report associated with a first channel state information (CSI) reporting setting; and receiving, by the network device from the user device, a reporting of a monitoring result for a second report associated with a second CSI reporting setting, wherein the second CSI reporting setting is linked to the first CSI reporting setting.

[0005] In some other implementations, a device, such as a network device, is disclosed. The device may include one or more processors and one or more memories, wherein the one or more processors are configured to read computer code from the one or more memories to implement any of the methods above.

[0006] In yet some other implementations, a computer program product is disclosed. The computer program product may include a non-transitory computer-readable program medium with computer code stored thereupon, the computer code, when executed by one or more processors, causing the one or more processors to implement any of the methods above.

[0007] The above and other aspects and their implementations are described in greater detail in the drawings, the descriptions, and the claims.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0016] The present description describes various embodiments of systems, apparatuses, devices, and methods for wireless communications related to reporting results associated with linked channel state information (CSI) reporting settings.

[0017] Fig. 1 shows a diagram of an example wireless communication system 100 including a plurality of communication nodes (or just nodes) that are configured to wirelessly communicate with each other. In general, the communication nodes include at least one user device 102 and at least one network device 104. The example wireless communication system 100 in Fig. 1 is shown as including two user devices 102, including a first user device 102 (1) and a second user device 102 (2) , and one device 104. However, various other examples of the wireless communication system 100 that include any of various combinations of one or more user devices 102 and / or one or more network devices 104 may be possible.

[0018] In general, a user device as described herein, such as the user device 102, may include a single electronic device or apparatus, or multiple (e.g., a network of) electronic devices or apparatuses, capable of communicating wirelessly over a network. A user device may comprise or otherwise be referred to as a user terminal, a user terminal device, or a user equipment (UE) . Additionally, a user device may be or include, but not limited to, a mobile device (such as a mobile phone, a smart phone, a smart watch, a tablet, a laptop computer, vehicle or other vessel (human, motor, or engine-powered, such as an automobile, a plane, a train, a ship, or a bicycle as non-limiting examples) or a fixed or stationary device, (such as a desktop computer or other computing device that is not ordinarily moved for long periods of time, such as appliances, other relatively heavy devices including Internet of things (IoT) , or computing devices used in commercial or industrial environments, as non-limiting examples) . In various embodiments, a user device 102 may include transceiver circuitry 106 coupled to an antenna 108 to effect wireless communication with the network device 104. The transceiver circuitry 106 may also be coupled to a processor 110, which may also be coupled to a memory 112 or other storage device. The memory 112 may store therein instructions or code that, when read and executed by the processor 110, cause the processor 110 to implement various ones of the methods described herein.

[0019] Additionally, in general, a network device as described herein, such as the network device 104, may include a single electronic device or apparatus, or multiple (e.g., a network of) electronic devices or apparatuses, and may comprise one or more wireless access nodes, base stations, or other wireless network access points capable of communicating wirelessly over a network with one or more user devices and / or with one or more other network devices 104. For example, the network device 104 may comprise a 4G LTE base station, a 5G NR base station, a 5G central-unit base station, a 5G distributed-unit base station, a next generation Node B (gNB) , an enhanced Node B (eNB) , or other similar or next-generation (e.g., 6G) base stations, in various embodiments. A network device 104 may include transceiver circuitry 114 coupled to an antenna 116, which may include an antenna tower 118 in various approaches, to effect wireless communication with the user device 102 or another network device 104. The transceiver circuitry 114 may also be coupled to one or more processors 120, which may also be coupled to a memory 122 or other storage device. The memory 122 may store therein instructions or code that, when read and executed by the processor 120, cause the processor 120 to implement one or more of the methods described herein.

[0020] In various embodiments, two communication nodes in the wireless system 100-such as a user device 102 and a network device 104, two user devices 102 without a network device 104, or two network devices 104 without a user device 102-may be configured to wirelessly communicate with each other in or over a mobile network and / or a wireless access network according to one or more standards and / or specifications. In general, the standards and / or specifications may define the rules or procedures under which the communication nodes can wirelessly communicate, which, in various embodiments, may include those for communicating in millimeter (mm) -Wave bands, and / or with multi-antenna schemes and beamforming functions. In addition or alternatively, the standards and / or specifications are those that define a radio access technology and / or a cellular technology, such as Fourth Generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) , Fifth Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) , or New Radio Unlicensed (NR-U) , as non-limiting examples.

[0021] Additionally, in the wireless system 100, the communication nodes are configured to wirelessly communicate signals between each other. In general, a communication in the wireless system 100 between two communication nodes can be or include a transmission or a reception, and is generally both simultaneously, depending on the perspective of a particular node in the communication. For example, for a given communication between a first node and a second node where the first node is transmitting a signal to the second node and the second node is receiving the signal from the first node, the first node may be referred to as a source or transmitting node or device, the second node may be referred to as a destination or receiving node or device, and the communication may be considered a transmission for the first node and a reception for the second node. Of course, since communication nodes in a wireless system 100 can both send and receive signals, a single communication node may be both a transmitting / source node and a receiving / destination node simultaneously or switch between being a source / transmitting node and a destination / receiving node.

[0022] Also, particular signals can be characterized or defined as either an uplink (UL) signal, a downlink (DL) signal, or a sidelink (SL) signal. An uplink signal is a signal transmitted from a user device 102 to a network device 104. A downlink signal is a signal transmitted from a network device 104 to a user device 102. A sidelink signal is a signal transmitted from a one user device 102 to another user device 102, or a signal transmitted from one network device 104 to another network device 104. Also, for sidelink transmissions, a first / source user device 102 directly transmits a sidelink signal to a second / destination user device 102 without any forwarding of the sidelink signal to a network device 104.

[0023] Additionally, signals communicated between communication nodes in the system 100 may be characterized or defined as a data signal or a control signal. In general, a data signal is a signal that includes or carries data, such multimedia data (e.g., voice and / or image data) , and a control signal is a signal that carries control information that configures the communication nodes in certain ways in order to communicate with each other, or otherwise controls how the communication nodes communicate data signals with each other. Also, certain signals may be defined or characterized by combinations of data / control and uplink / downlink / sidelink, including uplink control signals, uplink data signals, downlink control signals, downlink data signals, sidelink control signals, and sidelink data signals.

[0024] For at least some specifications, such as 5G NR, data and control signals are transmitted and / or carried on physical channels. Generally, a physical channel corresponds to a set of time-frequency resources used for transmission of a signal. Different types of physical channels may be used to transmit different types of signals. For example, physical data channels (or just data channels) , also herein called traffic channels, are used to transmit data signals, and physical control channels (or just control channels) are used to transmit control signals. Example types of traffic channels (or physical data channels) include, but are not limited to, a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) used to communicate downlink data signals, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) used to communicate uplink data signals, and a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) used to communicate sidelink data signals. In addition, example types of physical control channels include, but are not limited to, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) used to communicate downlink control signals, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) used to communicate uplink control signals, and a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) used to communicate sidelink control signals. As used herein for simplicity, unless specified otherwise, a particular type of physical channel is also used to refer to a signal that is transmitted on that particular type of physical channel, and / or a transmission on that particular type of transmission. As an example illustration, a PDSCH refers to the physical downlink shared channel itself, a downlink data signal transmitted on the PDSCH, or a downlink data transmission. Accordingly, a communication node transmitting or receiving a PDSCH means that the communication node is transmitting or receiving a signal on a PDSCH.

[0025] Additionally, for at least some specifications, such as 5G NR, and / or for at least some types of control signals, a control signal that a communication node transmits may include control information comprising the information necessary to enable transmission of one or more data signals between communication nodes, and / or to schedule one or more data channels (or one or more transmissions on data channels) . For example, such control information may include the information necessary for proper reception, decoding, and demodulation of a data signals received on physical data channels during a data transmission, and / or for uplink scheduling grants that inform the user device about the resources and transport format to use for uplink data transmissions. In some embodiments, the control information includes downlink control information (DCI) that is transmitted in the downlink direction from a network device 104 to a user device 102. In other embodiments, the control information includes uplink control information (UCI) that is transmitted in the uplink direction from a user device 102 to a network device 104, or sidelink control information (SCI) that is transmitted in the sidelink direction from one user device 102 (1) to another user device 102 (2) .

[0026] Additionally, as previously described, each user device 102 and the network device 104 may each include respective antennas 108, 116 to wireless communicate with each other. In order to achieve beam alignment and obtain sufficiently high antenna gain, the user and network devices 102, 104 may perform beam training, and their respective antennas 108, 116 may include antenna arrays with certain numbers of antenna elements (e.g., 1024 antenna elements in some embodiments) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) implementation. Such features of the user and network devices 102, 104 may help overcome the challenge of propagation loss induced by high frequencies at which the user and network devices 102, 104 may wirelessly communicate. In addition, the respective transceiver circuitry 106, 114 of the user and network device 102, 104 may include analog phase shifters for implementation of millimeter wave (mmWave) beam forming, which provides a finite number of controllable phases. Additionally, constant modulus constraints may be placed on the antenna elements. Given pre-specified beam patterns, variable-phase-shift-based beam-forming training targets may be used to identify the best pattern for subsequent data transmission generally, such as between one transmission reception point (TRP) and one UE panel for example. Correspondingly, communication nodes in the wireless communication system 100 may communicate (transmit and / or receive) using and / or according to one of a plurality of beams.

[0027] In some embodiments, a user device 102 and a network device 104 may implement a set of beam management procedures for adjusting the beam direction in the high frequency band and maintaining a suitable transmitting and receiving beam pair. The set of beam management procedures may include beam sweeping, beam measurement, beam reporting, and / or beam indication. In some of these embodiments, the user device 102 is configured with at least one resource setting for channel measurement and at least one reporting setting for channel state information (CSI) reporting. Each reporting setting may include the parameters for one CSI reporting band and the CSI related quantities to be reported by the user device 102.

[0028] In addition or alternatively, at least some implementations of the wireless communication system 100 described herein, including those utilizing fifth generation (5G) , 5G-advanced (5G-S) , 6G, or other or additional wireless technologies, may implement artificial intelligence (AI) and / or machine learning (ML) . Herein, unless expressly described otherwise, the terms “AI” and “ML” are generally used interchangeably, such that “AI” is generally considered to include or encompass “ML” , “ML” is generally considered to include or encompass “AI” , and / or the term “AI / ML” is used to describe a feature, component, or other entity, such as of the wireless communication system 100, that utilizes AI and / or ML. Implementation of AI / ML technology and / or functionality in the wireless communication system 100 may improve system operating efficiency, such as by reducing overhead of reference signals and / or through use of AI / ML inference and / or prediction. For example, AI / ML model-based beam prediction may directly predict an optimal narrow beam using measured results from an inference beam set that includes wide beams and / or one or more narrow beams. AI / ML model-based beam prediction may significantly reduce the reference signal (RS) overhead required for exhaustive beam sweeping.

[0029] Additionally, as used herein, the term “beam state” means the same as, is equivalent to, or includes at least one of: a quasi-co-location (QCL) state, a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, a spatial relation (also called spatial relation information) , a reference signal (RS) , a RS resource, a spatial filter, and / or a precoding. Furthermore, as used herein, a “beam state” is also called a “beam” .

[0030] Additionally, as used herein, the term “transmit beam” or “Tx beam” mean the same as, are equivalent to, or include at least one of: a QCL state, a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, a spatial relation state, a downlink (DL) and / or uplink (UL) reference signal (such as a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) ) , a synchronization signal block (SSB) (which is also called SS / physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) , a sounding reference signal (SRS) , physical random access channel (PRACH) ) , or Tx spatial filter or Tx precoding.

[0077] Fig. 4 is a flow chart of another example method 400 for wireless communication. At block 402, a network device 104 receives from a user device 102 a reporting of an inference result for a first report associated with a first channel state information (CSI) reporting setting. At block 404, the network device 104 receives from the user device 102 a reporting of a monitoring result for a second report associated with a second CSI reporting setting, where the second CSI reporting setting is linked to the first CSI reporting setting.

[0078] In some implementations of the method 300 and / or the method 400, for a CSI report for the first CSI reporting setting, the user device 102 calculates one or more CSI parameters based on at least one of:at least one measurement performed by the user device for configured reference signal (RS) resources associated with an inference resource setting, wherein the inference resource setting is associated with the first CSI reporting setting; or at least one processing performed by the user device 102 based on the at least one measurement and / or a configured pairing identification (ID) .

[0107] In some implementations, a user device 102 may be configured by one or more higher layers (e.g., higher than the physical (PHY) layer) with N≥1 CSI reporting settings and M≥1 CSI resource settings. Each CSI reporting setting may be associated with a single downlink bandwidth part (BWP) and / or include at least one of the parameter (s) for one CSI reporting band, including: a codebook configuration including a codebook subset restriction; a time-domain behavior; a frequency granularity for a channel quality indicator (CQI) and precoding matrix indicator (PMI) ; measurement restriction configurations; or CSI-related quantities to be reported by the user device 102, such as a layer indicator (LI) , a L1-RSRP, a L1-SINR, a CRI, or a SSBRI. In some of these implementations, the CQI indicates a desired modulation and coding scheme (MCS) , a given a hypothetical PDSCH transmission where the reported precoder matrix is applied to the CSI-RS to form a set of hypothetical PDSCH layers. This informs the network device 104 that if the network device 104 applies the reported precoder matrix directly for PDSCH precoding, the network device 104 can set the MCS according to the reported CQI. Although, if the network device 104 decides not to schedule the exact transmission hypothesis recommended by the user device 102, by for instance performing multi-user (MU) -MIMO transmission or adapting the precoder or rank, the recommended CQI cannot be directly applied. In turn, the CQI is typically mapped to a SINR value, which can then be used as input for link adaptation.

[0108] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the N≥1 CSI reporting settings may include at least one of: a training reporting setting, an inference reporting setting, or a monitoring reporting setting, as described in further detail below. In some of these implementations, N is at least 2, and the CSI reporting settings include at least a first CSI reporting setting and a second CSI reporting setting. In particular of these implementations, the first CSI reporting setting includes an inference reporting setting, and the second CSI reporting setting includes a monitoring reporting setting. Other combinations of the training reporting setting, the inference reporting setting, and the monitoring reporting setting are possible for other particular implementations for the first CSI reporting setting and the second CSI reporting setting.

[0109] Fig. 5 shows a diagram of an example configuration of a CSI reporting setting. In the example configuration in Fig. 5, the CSI reporting setting includes (or is associated with) an inference reporting setting, a monitoring reporting setting, and a training reporting setting. Each reporting setting is linked or associated with a respective or corresponding resource setting. Additionally, each resource setting includes or is associated with a respective configuration of a list of one or more multiple resource sets. Also, in the example in Fig. 5, the inference reporting setting is linked to the monitoring reporting setting.

[0110] In some implementations, a training reporting setting is configured for training data collection. Based on a measurement on RS resources transmitted by the network device 104, the user device 102 may, or may be able to, collect CSI measurement results and use the CSI measurement results for subsequent model training or fine-tuning.

[0111] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a training reporting setting is linked to a periodic or a semi-persistent training resource setting for channel measurement and / or for interference measurement. A report quantity of the training reporting setting may be set to none or other quantities to indicate that there is no CSI report for training data collection at the UE side. In other words, the user device may not report any quantity for the training reporting setting.

[0112] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a training reporting setting is linked to an associated ID. The associated ID is associated with one or more resources or resource sets of the training resource setting. The associated ID may function to guarantee consistency of one or more network side conditions (e.g., transmitter receiver unit (TXRU) mapping, or deployment scenarios) across training and inference.

[0113] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a training reporting setting is linked to a dataset ID, a model ID, a model parameter ID, and / or a pairing ID. The dataset ID is used to identify a dataset transmitted to the user device 102 or a model used by the user device 102. The model parameter ID is used to identify a set of model parameters transmitted to the user device 102 or a model used by the user device 102. The pairing ID is used to identify a model used by the user device 102 or the network device 104.

[0114] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, an inference reporting setting is configured for reporting CSI prediction or compression. After model training or model deployment at the UE side, the user device 102 is configured or able to generate the CSI report content (e.g., precoding matrix indicator (PMI_) based on model inference or processing.

[0115] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, an inference reporting setting is linked to an inference resource setting for channel measurement (and / or for interference measurement) . An inference resource set may be configured in the inference reporting setting. Each inference resource set may include one or multiple inference resources (e.g., CSI-RS resources) .

[0116] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, an inference reporting setting is linked to at least one of: a dataset ID, a model ID, a model parameter ID, or a pairing ID. The dataset ID is used to identify a dataset transmitted to the UE side or a model used by the user device 102. The model parameter ID is used to identify a set of model parameters transmitted to the UE side or a model used by the user device 102. The pairing ID is used to identify a model used by the user device 102 or the network device 104. For a CSI report of the inference reporting setting, the CSI parameters reported by the user device 102 are generated based on processing associated with at least one of: the dataset ID, the model ID, the model parameter ID, or the pairing ID.

[0117] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, for a CSI report for a first CSI reporting setting (e.g., the inference reporting setting) , the user device 102 may calculate one or more CSI parameters based on at least one of: at least one measurement performed by the user device 102 for configured reference signal (RS) resources associated with an inference resource setting associated with the first CSI reporting setting; or at least one processing (such as, but not limited to, compression, prediction, reasoning, or inference) performed by the user device 102 based on the at least one measurement and / or the a configured dataset ID, a model ID, a model parameter ID, an associated ID, or a pairing ID.

[0118] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, two or more of a dataset ID, a model ID, a model parameter ID, an associated ID, or a pairing ID are the same as or equal to each other. As a non-limiting example, a pairing ID is the same as, or is equal to, a model ID, a model parameter ID, an associated ID, and / or a dataset ID.

[0119] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the pairing ID implies (or represents or determines) a mapping or association or pairing between a first information and a second information. In some examples, the first and / or second information is obtained by the user device 102 based on measurement on the configured inference resources in the inference reporting setting. In some examples, the first and / or second information may be, include or be related to at least one of: a target CSI, an input of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , an output of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , a latent space / vector / message / information, a reported CSI feedback, reported CSI parameters, an input of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or network (NW) -side / part model) , or an output of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or NW-side / part model) .

[0120] In addition or alternatively, in some examples, the first information may be, include, or be related to at least one of: a target CSI, an input of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , an output of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or NW-side / part model) . The second information may be, include, or be related to at least one of: an output of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , a latent space / vector / message / information, a reported CSI feedback, reported CSI parameters, or an input of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or NW-side / part model) .

[0121] In addition or alternatively, in some examples, the first information may be, include, or be related to at least one of: an output of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , a reported CSI feedback, reported CSI parameters, a latent space / vector / message / information, an input of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or NW-side / part model) . The second information may be, include, or be related to at least one of: a target CSI, an input of the encoder (or CSI generation part / model, or UE-side / part model) , an output of the decoder (or CSI reconstruction part / model, or NW-side / part model) .

[0122] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the inference reporting setting may indicate wideband CQI or subband CQI reporting. In other words, the inference reporting setting may indicate whether the user device 102 is to report a single (wideband) or multiple (subband) CQI. When wideband CQI reporting is configured, a wideband CQI is reported for each codeword for the entire CSI reporting band. When subband CQI reporting is configured, one CQI for each codeword is reported for each subband in the CSI reporting band.

[0123] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, CQI, which may be included in or as part of an inference result, may be calculated conditioned or based on at least one of: a reported PMI, a reported RI, a reported CRI, or a codebook type indicated by the network device 104. Accordingly, in some implementations, CQI may be calculated not conditioned or based on the reported PMI. In addition nor alternatively, in some implementations, CQI may be calculated conditioned or based on CRI. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, CQI may be calculated conditioned or based on CRI and a codebook type indicated by the network device 104. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, CQI is calculated based on at least one of: measurements performed by the user device 102 for the configured RS resources associated with the inference resource setting, or a codebook type indicated by the network device 104 for CQI calculation. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, CQI, which may be included in or as part of an inference result, is calculated assuming or based on at least one of: a hypothetical PDSCH transmission with precoders corresponding to a channel matrix, a channel measurement or channel matrix for configured RS resources associated with the inference resource setting, or a codebook type indicated by the network device 104 for CQI calculation.

[0124] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a first CSI reporting setting (e.g., the inference reporting setting) and / or a second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) is / are linked to an associated ID. In some of these implementations, the associated ID is associated with one or more resources or resource sets of the first CSI reporting setting (e.g., the inference reporting setting) and / or the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) .

[0125] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a monitoring reporting setting is configured for reporting a CSI compression accuracy indicator (CSI-CAI) . The monitoring reporting setting is used to identify any possible CSI compression errors or model inference errors due to limited model generalization or dynamic environment changes.

[0126] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a monitoring reporting setting is linked to a monitoring resource setting for channel measurement and / or for interference measurement. A monitoring resource set may be configured in the monitoring reporting setting. Each monitoring resource set may include one or multiple monitoring resources (e.g., CSI-RS resources) .

[0127] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a monitoring reporting setting is linked to an inference reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a monitoring reporting setting may have the same dynamic time-domain behavior as, or more dynamic time-domain behaviors than, the inference reporting setting. Specifically, when the inference reporting setting is semi-persistent, the user device 102 may not be expected to be configured with a periodic monitoring reporting setting, and / or the monitoring reporting setting may be configured as semi-persistent or aperiodic. When the inference reporting setting is aperiodic, the user device 102 is not expected to be configured with a periodic or semi-persistent monitoring reporting setting, or the monitoring reporting setting may be configured as aperiodic.

[0128] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a user device 102 may be configured with at least one CSI reporting setting, such as at least one of an inference reporting setting, a training reporting setting, and / or a monitoring reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, if a same associated ID is configured to be associated with different resources or resource sets, the user device 102 may assume RS resources among the different resources or resource sets to have the same or similar one or more properties, irrespective of when a corresponding resource setting (s) is configured by higher layer (higher than a physical (PHY) layer) signaling or released. (Whether two properties are similar may be determination made by a communication node (e.g., user device 102) using predetermined criteria and / or one or more algorithms to assess a quantified degree or value of similarity between two properties, and / or which may be implementation specific in any of various implementations. ) In some of these implementations, the one or more properties may include at least one of: a downlink spatial transmitter (Tx) filter, a spatial receiver (Rx) parameter, a deployment scenario, a UE distribution, a carrier frequency, a TxRU mapping, an antenna layout, a layout of antenna ports, a layout of antenna element mapping, an antenna elements virtualization, an antenna port distribution, a vertical port number, a horizontal port number, or a polarization. Embodiment #2: Linkage between inference report and monitoring report

[0129] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a CSI compression accuracy indicator (CSI-CAI) , may be included in, part of, and / or reported in a report of a second CSI reporting setting (e.g., a monitoring report of the monitoring reporting setting) .

[0130] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a CSI-CAI is reported, and / or a reporting of the CSI-CAI corresponding to a second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) , may be considered or based on N latest transmission occasion (s) (N is an integer of one or more) of a corresponding monitoring resource set of the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) . In some of these implementations, the value of N is configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, or s reported by the user device 102 (e.g., in a UE capability indication) . In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a latest transmission occasion of the N latest transmission occasion (s) is no later than a CSI reference resource corresponding to a CSI report of the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) , or all of the N latest transmission occasion (s) is / are no later than a CSI reference resource corresponding to a CSI report of the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) .

[0131] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the reporting of a CSI-CAI corresponding to the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) may consider or be based on one or more latest transmission occasions of the corresponding monitoring resource set of the second CSI reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the latest transmission occasion (s) is / are no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report of the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) .

[0132] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the CSI-CAI is reported, and / or the reporting of CSI-CAI corresponding to the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) may consider or be based on at least one transmission occasion of a corresponding monitoring resource set of the second CSI reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the corresponding monitoring resource set is configured by a monitoring resource setting associated with the second CSI reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, the at least one transmission occasion is no later than a CSI reference resource corresponding to a CSI report of the second CSI reporting setting (e.g., the monitoring reporting setting) .

[0133] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a latest CSI report (or a CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report, or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report) of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting considered for linking is no later than a CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the latest CSI report (or the CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report, or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the latest CSI report) of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting considered for linking is no later than the CSI report (or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report) of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting.

[0134] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the CSI report (or the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report) of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting considered for linking is no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the CSI report (or the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report) of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting considered for linking is no later than the CSI report (or the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report, or the transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report) of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting.

[0135] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the user device 102 may check whether at least one of one or more conditions is satisfied. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, for a transmission occasion of a second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting (or for the transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set, or for each of N latest transmission occasion (s) of the corresponding monitoring resource set, or for the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the CSI report) , the user device 102 may check whether there is a linked report of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. For example, the user device 102 may check whether there is linkage between a monitoring resource occasion and an inference report.

[0136] In some implementations, whether there is a linked report of the first CSI reporting setting may be determined, and / or the linking is determined, based on, or if, a first time instance associated with (or of) the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting has a minimal time (e.g., slot, symbol, or other time unit) offset from (or is closest to) a second time instance associated with (or of) the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. Such a condition may clarify UE behavior that the linkage between the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting and the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting is based on a closest or shortest time interval in the time domain.

[0137] In addition or alternatively, whether there is a linked report of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting may be determined, and / or the linking is determined, based on, or if, a first time instance associated with (or of) the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting is earlier (or later) than a second time instance associated with (or of) the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. For example, the monitoring resources are precoded or processed based on the inference results reported in the inference CSI report of the inference reporting setting, and then the time instance of the monitoring resources may be later than those of the inference CSI report.

[0138] In some implementations using a minimal time offset, the minimal time offset may not be greater than a first number X time units. Such implementations may guarantee that the inference resource or inference CSI report is not sufficiently far away from the monitoring resource or monitoring CSI report in the time domain. In at least some of these implementations, X is a positive integer and / or pre-defined by a standard, specification, or protocol according to which the communication nodes in the wireless communication system 100 are configured to operate.

[0139] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations using a minimal time offset, the minimal time offset may not be lower than a second number Y time units. Such implementations may guarantee that the network device 104 (e.g., base station) has enough time for the precoding or processing of monitoring resources, which is based on the inference results reported in the inference CSI report of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. Also, in at least some of these implementations, Y is a positive integer and / or pre-defined by a standard, specification, or protocol according to which the communication nodes in the wireless communication system 100 are configured to operate.

[0140] In addition or alternatively, in some implementation using the above-mentioned first time instance, the first time instance may be at least one of: a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a CSI reference resource of a CSI report of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a CSI report of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a transmission occasion of a corresponding inference resource set of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a latest transmission occasion of a corresponding inference resource set no later than the CSI reference resource of the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting.

[0141] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations using the above-mentioned second time instance, the second time instance may be at least one of: a time instance of a CSI reference resource of a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, a time instance of a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a transmission occasion of a corresponding monitoring resource set of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, a time instance (e.g., a slot) of a latest transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting.

[0142] To illustrate, Fig. 6 shows a timing diagram of offsets for determining whether there is linkage between an inference report and a monitoring report. In Fig. 6, each offset is between a respective first time instance associated with the inference report and / or inference reporting setting and a respective second time instance associated with the monitoring report and / or monitoring reporting setting. Each respective first time instance is a time instance of a CSI report of the inference reporting setting, and each respective second time instance is a time instance of a transmission occasion of a corresponding monitoring resource set ( “RS” in Fig. 6) of the monitoring reporting setting or a latest transmission occasion of a corresponding monitoring resource set no later than a CSI reference resource of the monitoring reporting setting.

[0143] In some implementations, a time instance (e.g, the first time instance or the second time instance) may be at least one of: a slot, a symbol, a first slot, a first symbol, a last slot, or a last symbol. In addition or alternatively, a CSI reference resource may define a set of one or more assumptions the user device 102 is to make on or for a hypothetical PDSCH transmission, such as the bandwidth, reference signal overhead, and what / or precoding is used. In addition or alternatively, the CSI reference resource is also associated with a time instance for which the CSI is to correspond. Essentially, the CSI reference resource points out a downlink slot as the timing reference, implying or indicating that no later channel or interference measurements than that slot is to be used as input for the CSI report.

[0144] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, in response to, or if, one or more of the above above conditions is met or satisfied, the transmission occasion of the monitoring reporting setting or the corresponding monitoring resource set is considered as or determined to be a valid transmission occasion. In some of these implementations, only a valid transmission occasion is considered when generating the CSI-CAI parameters or is counted as an accurate CSI compression and / or prediction instance. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, all invalid transmission occasions are not counted as an accurate CSI compression and / or prediction instance. Embodiment #3: Definition of the performance metric

[0145] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the user device 102 reports and / or the network device 104 receives a CSI-CAI for a second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the user device 102 performs, and / or the CSI-CAI for the second CSI reporting setting is reported based on, at least one of the following.

[0146] In some implementations, the user device 102 may determine a first parameter, at least based on a CSI processing (e.g., prediction or compression as non-limiting examples) performed by the user device 102 using a channel measurement corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the user device 102 may determine a first parameter for each of the subband (s) configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, and / or averaged over all of the subbands configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, at least based on the CSI processing (e.g., prediction or compression) performed by the user device 102 using the channel measurement corresponding to the inference reporting setting.

[0147] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the user device 102 may determine a second parameter, at least based on a latest RS resource transmission occasion, no later than a CSI reference resource of a CSI report, corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the user device 102 may determine a second parameter for each of the subband (s) configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, and / or averaged over all of the subbands configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, at least based on the latest RS resource transmission occasion, no later than the CSI reference resource of the CSI report, corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, the second parameter may be or include at least one of: reference signal received power (RSRP) , BLER, hypothetical BLER, SNR, SINR, CQI, SGCS, NMSE, or throughput.

[0149] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the user device 102 may determine a fourth parameter, at least based on one or more RS resources in a resource set for channel measurement configured in a resource setting associated with the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting and / or for a report corresponding to the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the user device 102 may determine a fourth parameter for each of the subband (s) configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104 and / or averaged over all the subbands configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104, at least based on the RS resource (s) in the resource set for channel measurement for the report corresponding to the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, the fourth parameter may be at least one of: RSRP, BLER, hypothetical BLER, SNR, SINR, CQI, SGCS, NMSE, or throughput.

[0152] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, at least one of the above first through fifth parameters may be calculated or determined as one of the following: Hgenie, v, vres, vcb, ||Hgeniev||2, ||vHgenie||2, ||Hgenievres||2, ||vresHgenie||2, ||Hgenievcb||2, ||vcbHgenie||2, Hactual, v, vres, vcb, ||Hactualvres||2, ||vresHactual||2, ||Hactualv||2, ||vHactual||2, ||Hactualvcb||2, ||vcbHactual||2. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, the second parameter and / or the third parameter may be equal to, related to, or dependent or based on: Hgenie, v, vres, vcb, ||Hgeniev||2, ||vHgenie||2, ||Hgenievres||2, ||vresHgenie||2, ||Hgenievcb||2, ||vcbHgenie||2. In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the fourth parameter and / or the fifth parameter may be equal to, related to, or dependent or based on: Hactual, v, vres, vcb, ||Hactualvres||2, ||vresHactual||2, ||Hactualv||2, ||vHactual||2, ||Hactualvcb||2, ||vcbHactual||2. Hgenie is the channel matrix (or channel coefficient or other channel related parameters) based on channel measurement and / or interference measurement on the RS resource (s) in the resource set for the report corresponding to the inference reporting setting; v is the precoder (or precoding matrix and / or vector or eigenvector or target CSI or reconstructed CSI) based on channel measurement and / or interference measurement on the RS resource (s) in the resource set for the report corresponding to the inference reporting setting; vcb is the precoder (or precoding matrix and / or vector or eigenvector or target CSI or reconstructed CSI) based on codebook type indicated by the network device (e.g., base station) 104 and channel measurement and / or interference measurement on the RS resource (s) in the resource set for the report corresponding to the inference reporting setting; Hactual is the channel matrix (or channel coefficient or other channel related parameters) based on channel measurement and / or interference measurement on the RS resource (s) in the resource set for the report corresponding to the monitoring reporting setting; and vres is the precoder (or precoding matrix and / or vector or eigenvector or target CSI or reconstructed CSI) indicated by the base station. Fig. 7 shows a diagram of an example configuration that a user device 102 and / or a network device 104 may employ to determine one or more of the first through fifth parameters based on Hgenie, v, and Hactual.

[0153] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, a CSI-CAI is calculated or determined based on at least one of the first through fifth parameters.

[0154] In addition or alternatively, a CSI-CAI is equal to or based on an intermediate performance metric is equal to or determined based one or more of the first through fifth parameters. In some of these implementations, the intermediate performance metric is determined based on a mathematical result of, and / or a mathematical operation on, one or more of the above first through fifth parameters, such as based on an absolute value of one or more of the first through fifth parameters, and / or an addition operation, a subtraction operation, a multiplication operation, a division operation, SGCS, and / or NMSE between or on two or more of the above first through fifth parameters; and / or an absolute value of a mathematical result of one or more mathematical operations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, SGCS, or NMSE) on two or more of the above first through parameters. For example, an intermediate performance metric is equal to at least one of:a first RSRP (RPRP1) based on measurement on inference resources, a second RSRP (RSRP2) based on measurement on monitoring resources, a subtraction between RSRP1 and RSRP2 (e.g., RSRP1-RSRP2 or RSRP2-RSRP1) , or the absolute value of the subtraction between RSRP1 and RSRP2 (i.e., |RSRP1-RSRP2|) .

[0155] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the intermediate performance metric is or includes a quantized intermediate performance metric, and correspondingly, the CSI-CAI is equal to or based on the quantized intermediate performance metric. In some of these implementations, for the reporting of CSI-CAI, the intermediate performance metric is quantized to a M-bit field. In particular of these implementations, a first codepoint corresponding to the M-bit field is used to indicate (0 X] value range, and the value range [X, 1] is quantized in a linear scale with a pre-determined step size. X may be pre-determined by a standard, specification, or protocol according to which communication nodes in the wireless communication system 100 are configured to communicate, or may be configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 105 in any of various of these implementations.

[0156] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the CSI-CAI is equal to or based on a statistical average value of multiple intermediate performance metrics, where each of the multiple intermediate performance metrics corresponds to a transmission occasion of the monitoring reporting setting (or a transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set, or a valid transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set, or a latest transmission occasion (s) of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the monitoring report) . In some of these implementations, the CSI-CAI may be equal to the statistical average value after quantization (e.g., quantized statistical average value) .

[0157] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, for at least one transmission occasion (e.g., a transmission occasion of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, a transmission occasion of a corresponding monitoring resource set, or for each of N latest transmission occasion (s) of the corresponding monitoring resource set, or for the latest transmission occasion of the corresponding monitoring resource set no later than the CSI reference resource corresponding to the monitoring report) , the user device 102 may check or determine whether at least one of the following conditions is satisfied: a first condition that an intermediate performance metric is larger or not lower than a first threshold, and / or a second condition that an intermediate performance metric is lower or not greater than a second threshold. In some of these implementations, the intermediate performance metric is calculated or determined as previously described in one or more of the above implementations. In addition or alternatively, in some of these implementations, the first threshold and / or the second threshold is / are pre-defined by a specification, protocol or standard according to which communication nodes in the wireless communication system 100 are configured to communication; fixed to be zero; or configured by the network device (e.g., base station) 104.

[0158] In some implementations, if at least one of the first condition and / or the second condition is satisfied, the user device 102 may report a CSI-CAI for the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting to be a first value (e.g., 1) . Otherwise, the user device 102 may report a CSI-CAI for the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting to be a second value (e.g., 0) .

[0159] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, if at least one of the first condition or the second condition is satisfied, the at least one transmission occasion is counted as an accurate CSI processing (e.g., compression and / or prediction) instance, and / or the monitoring result is equal to a total count of accurate or inaccurate CSI processing instances. Also, in response to the first condition and the second condition not being satisfied, the at least one transmission occasion is not counted as an accurate CSI processing (e.g., compression and / or prediction) instance, and / or the monitoring result is equal to a total count of accurate or inaccurate CSI processing instances. In some of these implementations, the user device 102 may determine the CSI-CAI as a total count of accurate CSI processing (e.g., compression and / or prediction) instance (s) or a total count of inaccurate CSI processing (e.g., compression and / or prediction) instance (s) ) , and / or the user device 102 may report CSI-CAI for the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, with a  -bit field. Embodiment #4: Timeline requirement for triggering / activating the monitoring report

[0160] In addition or alternatively, a reporting of CSI-CAI corresponding to the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting may be based on one or more of the following.

[0161] In some implementations, such as shown in the timing diagram of Fig. 8, if aperiodic CSI-RS resources are configured for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, the user device 102 may expect to receive a PDCCH triggering a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, or an activation command activating a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, if any, no later than a first symbol of an earliest one of each RS resource in a resource set for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, a transmission time instance of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) -acknowledgment (ACK) information corresponding to the PDSCH carrying the activation command or the application time instance of the indicated second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting is no later than the first symbol of the earliest one of each RS resource in the resource set for channel measurement for the inference reporting setting.

[0162] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, if periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS resources are configured for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, the user device 102 may expect to receive a PDCCH triggering a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting or an activation command activating a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, if any, no later than a first symbol of an earliest one of each RS resource, for a respective latest RS resource occasion no later than a CSI reference resource of a CSI report corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, a transmission time instance of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the PDSCH carrying the activation command or the application time instance of the indicated second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting is no later than a first symbol of an earliest one of each RS resource, for a respective latest RS resource occasion no later than the CSI reference resource of the CSI report corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting.

[0163] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, the user device 102 is expected to receive a PDCCH triggering a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, or an activation command activating a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, if any, no later than the CSI reference resource or the time instance of the CSI report corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the transmission time instance of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the PDSCH carrying the activation command or the application time instance of the indicated second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting is no later than the CSI reference resource or the time instance of the CSI report corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting.

[0164] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, if aperiodic CSI-RS resources are configured for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, the user device 102 is expected to receive a PDCCH triggering a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting or an activation command activating a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, if any, no later than a first symbol of an earliest occasion of K aperiodic CSI-RS resources in the resource set for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, a transmission time instance of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the PDSCH carrying the activation command or the application time instance of the indicated second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting is no later than a first symbol of an earliest occasion of K aperiodic CSI-RS resources in the resource set for channel measurement for the inference reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the value of K is configured and / or indicated by the network device (e.g., base station) 104.

[0165] In addition or alternatively, in some implementations, if one or more periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS resources is configured for channel measurement for the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting, the user device 102 is expected to receive a PDCCH triggering a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting or an activation command activating a CSI report of the second CSI (e.g., monitoring) reporting setting, if any, no later than a first symbol of an earliest transmission occasion of a most recent Kp periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS resource, no later than the CSI reference resource of the CSI report, corresponding to the first CSI (e.g., inference) reporting setting. In some of these implementations, a transmission time instance of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the PDSCH carrying the activation command or the application time instance of the indicated monitoring reporting setting is no later than a first symbol of an earliest transmission occasion of a most recent Kp periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS resource, no later than a CSI reference resource of a CSI report, corresponding to the inference reporting setting. In some of these implementations, the value of, Kp is indicated by a UE capability message.

[0166] The description and accompanying drawings above provide specific example embodiments and implementations. The described subject matter may, however, be embodied in a variety of different forms and, therefore, covered or claimed subject matter is intended to be construed as not being limited to any example embodiments set forth herein. A reasonably broad scope for claimed or covered subject matter is intended. Among other things, for example, subject matter may be embodied as methods, devices, components, systems, or non-transitory computer-readable media for storing computer codes. Accordingly, embodiments may, for example, take the form of hardware, software, firmware, storage media or any combination thereof. For example, the method embodiments described above may be implemented by components, devices, or systems including memory and processors by executing computer codes stored in the memory.

[0167] Throughout the specification and claims, terms may have nuanced meanings suggested or implied in context beyond an explicitly stated meaning. Likewise, the phrase “in one embodiment / implementation” as used herein does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment and the phrase “in another embodiment / implementation” as used herein does not necessarily refer to a different embodiment. It is intended, for example, that claimed subject matter includes combinations of example embodiments in whole or in part.

[0168] In general, terminology may be understood at least in part from usage in context. For example, terms, such as “and” , “or” , or “and / or, ” as used herein may include a variety of meanings that may depend at least in part on the context in which such terms are used. Typically, “or” is intended to be interpreted in the inclusive sense, unless otherwise explicitly indicated. For example, “aor b” may include a only, b only, or a combination of a and b. In addition, the terms “one or more of” and “at least one of” a list of items refers to any combination of those items, including single members. For example, “at least one of: a, b, or c” is intended to cover the possibilities of: a only, b only, c only, a combination of a and b, a combination of a and c, a combination of b and c, and a combination of a and b and c. Additionally, terms, such as “a, ” “an, ” or “the, ” may be understood to convey a singular usage or to convey a plural usage, depending at least in part upon context. In addition, the term “based on” may be understood as not necessarily intended to convey an exclusive set of factors and may, instead, allow for existence of additional factors not necessarily expressly described, again, depending at least in part on context.

[0169] Reference throughout this specification to features, advantages, or similar language does not imply that all of the features and advantages that may be realized with the present solution should be or are included in any single implementation thereof. Rather, language referring to the features and advantages is understood to mean that a specific feature, advantage, or characteristic described in connection with an embodiment is included in at least one embodiment of the present solution. Thus, discussions of the features and advantages, and similar language, throughout the specification may, but do not necessarily, refer to the same embodiment.

[0170] Furthermore, the described features, advantages and characteristics of the present solution may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments. One of ordinary skill in the relevant art will recognize, in light of the description herein, that the present solution can be practiced without one or more of the specific features or advantages of a particular embodiment. In other instances, additional features and advantages may be recognized in certain embodiments that may not be present in all embodiments of the present solution.
