[0004] Currently, sofas typically incorporate a mechanical extension mechanism. This mechanism includes a seat frame and a main body for adjusting the seat frame's forward and backward position. The seat frame and main body also connect to a backrest mechanism, footrest mechanism, etc., with upholstery strategically placed in designated areas to create the sofa's upholstered seat, backrest, and footrest. The mechanical extension mechanism also features a linear actuator to drive the overall functional frame through three-position or two-position transitions between sitting, relaxing, and reclining positions, thereby enabling the sofa to move between these positions.

[0005] In related technologies, the posture adjustment of mechanical extension devices is performed sequentially, which can lead to inflexible posture adjustment and thus affect the user experience. Summary of the Invention

[0006] The main objective of this application is to provide a mechanical extension device and seating / lying furniture having the same, in order to solve the problem in related technologies where the posture adjustment is performed in a sequential manner, resulting in inflexible posture adjustment.

[0007] To achieve the above objectives, according to one aspect of this application, a mechanical extension device is provided, comprising: a base; a leg support mechanism movable relative to the base and having a retracted position and an extended position; a seat frame mounting mechanism movable relative to the base and having an initial position and a forward position; a first drive member drivingly cooperating with the leg support mechanism to switch the leg support mechanism between the retracted position and the extended position; and a second drive member drivingly cooperating with the seat frame mounting mechanism to switch the seat frame mounting mechanism between the initial position and the forward position.

[0008] According to another aspect of this application, a mechanical extension device is provided, comprising: a base; a seat frame mounting mechanism, the seat frame mounting mechanism being movable relative to the base and having an initial position and a forward position; and a transmission structure disposed in the seat frame mounting mechanism, the transmission structure being capable of adjusting the posture sequence, wherein when the seat frame mounting mechanism moves from the initial position to the forward position, the transmission structure restricts the extension of the leg support mechanism.

[0009] According to another aspect of this application, a set of reclining furniture is provided, including a mechanical extension device and at least one support pad disposed on the mechanical extension device, which is the aforementioned mechanical extension device.

[0010] Applying the technical solution of this application, the leg support mechanism has a retracted position and an extended position, and the seat frame mounting mechanism has an initial position and a forward-moving position. A first driving member engages with the leg support mechanism to switch it between the retracted and extended positions. A second driving member engages with the seat frame mounting mechanism to switch it between the initial and forward-moving positions. Through this configuration, the seat frame mounting mechanism supports the user, and the leg support mechanism supports the legs. The first driving member drives the leg support mechanism, and the second driving member drives the seat frame mounting mechanism, allowing both to be driven independently. This makes the posture adjustment of the mechanical extension device more flexible and free, thereby improving the user experience. Therefore, the technical solution of this application effectively solves the problem in related technologies where the posture adjustment is performed in a sequential manner, resulting in inflexible posture adjustment. [0063] The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative and is in no way intended to limit the present invention or its application or use. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative effort are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0064] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device includes: a base 10, a leg support mechanism 20, a seat frame mounting mechanism 30, a first drive member 51, and a second drive member 52. The leg support mechanism 20 is movable relative to the base 10 and has a retracted position and an extended position. The seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is movable relative to the base 10 and has an initial position and a forward position. The first drive member 51 drives the leg support mechanism 20 to switch the leg support mechanism 20 between the retracted and extended positions. The second drive member 52 drives the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to switch the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 between the initial and forward positions.

[0065] Applying the above technical solution, the leg support mechanism 20 has a retracted position and an extended position, and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 has an initial position and a forward-moving position. The first driving member 51 drives the leg support mechanism 20 to switch between the retracted and extended positions. The second driving member 52 drives the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to switch between the initial and forward-moving positions. Through this arrangement, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 supports the user, and the leg support mechanism 20 supports the legs. The first driving member 51 drives the leg support mechanism 20, and the second driving member 52 drives the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, allowing both the leg support mechanism 20 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to be driven independently. This makes the posture adjustment of the mechanical extension device more flexible and free, thereby improving the user experience. Therefore, the above technical solution effectively solves the problem in related technologies where the posture adjustment installation sequence leads to inflexible posture adjustment.

[0066] Specifically, the first drive member 51 and the second drive member 52 are independent drive sources, respectively controlling the movement of the leg support mechanism 20 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, so that the sitting posture and seat depth can be adjusted independently.

[0067] In some embodiments, the base 10 is fixed relative to the ground.

[0068] Specifically, the base 10 has a handrail support. The handrail support supports the mechanical extension device and other structures besides the base 10, allowing it to be suspended in the air.

[0069] Of course, in other embodiments, the base 10 has support feet that can support other structures of the mechanical extension device besides the base 10 so that they are suspended in the air.

[0070] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a backrest mechanism 40 and a third drive member 53. The backrest mechanism 40 is movable relative to the base 10 and has an upright position and a reclining position. The third drive member 53 drives the backrest mechanism 40 to switch the resulting backrest mechanism 40 between the upright position and the reclining position.

[0071] The third drive member 53 can drive the backrest mechanism 40, thereby making the adjustment of the backrest mechanism 40 more flexible, that is, the adjustment of the backrest mechanism 40 is independent of the adjustment of the leg support mechanism 20 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0072] It should be noted that the aforementioned third driving member 53 and backrest mechanism 40 drive each other, including the third driving member 53 directly driving the backrest mechanism 40 to move or the third driving member 53 indirectly driving the backrest mechanism 40 to move.

[0073] Specifically, in some embodiments, the third driving member directly drives the first moving member 61 and the transmission assembly to move, and the movement of the first moving member 61 and the transmission assembly drives the backrest mechanism 40 to move.

[0074] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a first movable member 61 and a transmission assembly. The transmission assembly is disposed between the first movable member 61 and the base 10. The first movable member 61 is movable relative to the base 10. The backrest mechanism 40 is hingedly connected to the first movable member 61. The seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is slidably connected to the first movable member 61. The leg support mechanism 20 is hingedly connected to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. A third driving member 53 is disposed between the base 10 and the first movable member 61, or between the base 10 and the transmission assembly. A second driving member 52 is disposed between the first movable member 61 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, or between the transmission assembly and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The first movable member 61 can connect the base 10, the backrest mechanism 40, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the leg support mechanism 20. The movement of the first movable member 61 relative to the base 10 coordinates the relative position changes of each mechanism. Furthermore, the third drive member 53 and the second drive member 52 control the movement of the backrest mechanism 40 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 through direct or indirect connection with the first moving member 61, thereby realizing independent adjustment of sitting posture and seat depth.

[0075] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the first driving member 51 is disposed between the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 and the leg support mechanism 20. This arrangement allows the first driving member 51 to act directly on the leg support mechanism 20, unaffected by changes in the position of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0076] Specifically, the extension and retraction of the first drive member 51 directly changes the position of the leg support mechanism 20, allowing it to extend or retract without affecting the sitting posture and seat depth. This effectively improves the flexibility and responsiveness of the leg support mechanism 20's adjustment, enhancing the user's comfort experience.

[0077] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, 6, and 8, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a first mounting rod 71, a second mounting rod 72, and a third mounting rod 73. The first mounting rod 71 is connected to the base 10, the second mounting rod 72 is connected to the first moving member 61, or the second mounting rod 72 is connected to the transmission assembly, and the third mounting rod 73 is connected to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. A third driving member 53 is disposed between the first mounting rod 71 and the second mounting rod 72, and a second driving member 52 is disposed between the second mounting rod 72 and the third mounting rod 73. The arrangement of the first mounting rod 71, the second mounting rod 72, and the third mounting rod 73 enables the third driving member 53 and the second driving member 52 to transmit power more effectively.

[0078] Specifically, the first mounting rod 71, the second mounting rod 72, and the third mounting rod 73 form a stable power transmission chain, ensuring the smooth movement of the backrest mechanism 40 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0079] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, 6, and 8, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a fourth mounting rod 74 connected to the leg support mechanism 20, and a first drive member 51 disposed between the third mounting rod 73 and the fourth mounting rod 74. The fourth mounting rod 74 allows the first drive member 51 to more effectively control the extension and retraction of the leg support mechanism 20.

[0080] It should be noted that the first mounting rod 71 is fixedly connected to the base 10, the second mounting rod 72 is fixedly connected to the transmission assembly or the first moving part 61, the third mounting rod 73 is fixedly connected to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the fourth mounting rod 74 is fixedly connected to the leg support mechanism 20.

[0081] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the backrest mechanism 40 includes a backrest body 41, a first connecting rod 42, a second connecting rod 43, and a third connecting rod 44. The first end of the first connecting rod 42 is hinged to the base 10, and the second end of the first connecting rod 42 is hinged to the backrest body 41. The first end of the second connecting rod 43 is connected to the first moving member 61, and the second end of the second connecting rod 43 is hinged to the backrest body 41. The first end of the third connecting rod 44 is hinged to the second connecting rod 43, and the second end of the third connecting rod 44 is hinged to the backrest body 41. The stable tilting and uprighting of the backrest body 41, achieved through the first connecting rod 42, the second connecting rod 43, and the third connecting rod 44, ensures both comfort and safety in the sitting posture.

[0082] It should be noted that the above-mentioned "the first end of the second link 43 is connected to the first moving part 61" includes the first end of the second link 43 being fixedly connected to the first moving part 61, or the second link 43 and the first moving part 61 being integrally formed.

[0083] In some embodiments, the first end of the second link 43 is fixedly connected to the first moving member 61 by fasteners.

[0084] Specifically, the backrest body 41 includes a first support rod, a second support rod, a third support rod, and a fourth support rod. The first support rod is Z-shaped, and its first end is hinged to the second end of the first connecting rod 42. The second support rod is L-shaped, and its first end is hinged to the second end of the first support rod. The third support rod is hinged to the middle of the first support rod. The second end of the second connecting rod 43 is hinged to the middle of the first support rod. The second end of the third connecting rod 44 is hinged to the middle of the second support rod. The fourth support rod is hinged to both the second end of the second support rod and the second end of the third support rod.

[0085] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the transmission assembly includes a fourth link 81, a fifth link 82, a sixth link 83, a seventh link 84, an eighth link 85, and a ninth link 86. The first end of the fourth link 81 is connected to both the third driving member 53 and the second driving member 52. The middle portion of the fourth link 81 is hinged to the first moving member 61. The second end of the fourth link 81 is hinged to the middle portion of the fifth link 82. The first end of the fifth link 82 is hinged to the base 10. The second end of link 82 is hinged to the first end of the sixth link 83. The second end of the sixth link 83 is hinged to the middle of the seventh link 84. The first end of the seventh link 84 is hinged to the base 10. The second end of the seventh link 84 is hinged to the first end of the eighth link 85. The second end of the eighth link 85 is hinged to the first moving member 61. The first end of the ninth link 86 is hinged to the middle of the seventh link 84. The second end of the ninth link 86 is hinged to the first moving member 61. The aforementioned fourth link 81, fifth link 82, sixth link 83, seventh link 84, eighth link 85, and ninth link 86 enable the connection between the base 10 and the first moving member 61. Furthermore, they enable the movement of the first moving member 61, thereby allowing for the position adjustment of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0086] Specifically, the fourth link 81 is fixedly connected to the second mounting rod 72.

[0087] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 includes a second movable member 31 and a seat frame body 35, with the seat frame body 35 connected to the second movable member 31. This arrangement allows the seat frame body 35 to move with the second movable member 31.

[0088] In other embodiments, the seat frame body 35 and the second movable member 31 are fixedly connected.

[0089] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, in some embodiments, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 further includes a first rod 32, a second rod 33, and a third rod 34. The second moving member 31 is slidably engaged with the first moving member 61. The middle part of the first rod 32 is hinged to the second moving member 31. The first end of the first rod 32 is hinged to the first end of the second rod 33. The second end of the first rod 32 is hinged to the first end of the third rod 34. The second end of the second rod 33 is hinged to the seat frame body 35. The second end of the third rod 34 is hinged to the leg support mechanism 20. The seat frame body 35 is hinged to the second moving member 31. The sliding engagement between the second moving member 31 and the first moving member 61, and the hinged connection between the first rod 32, the second rod 33, the third rod 34, and the seat frame body 35, constitute a retractable frame. The forward movement of the seat frame body 35 is achieved by the extension and retraction of the second driving member 52.

[0090] In this embodiment, the seat frame body 35 and the third mounting rod 73 are fixedly connected.

[0091] The leg support mechanism 20 includes a first leg support structure 21, a second leg support structure 22, and a third leg support structure 23. Both the first and second leg support structures 21 and 22 are hinged to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The third leg support structure 23 is also hinged to both the first and second leg support structures 21 and 22, and is located at the end of the first leg support structure 21 furthest from the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The first, second, and third leg support structures of the leg support mechanism 20 are hinged together to form an adjustable leg support platform. The extension and retraction of the leg support mechanism 20 are achieved through the extension and retraction of the first drive member 51. This design allows for smoother forward and backward movement of the seat frame body 35, a wider range of leg support adjustment, and enhances the comfort and practicality of the seat.

[0092] It should be noted that the first leg support structure 21 mentioned above includes a first support rod and a second support rod, the second leg support structure 22 includes a third support rod and a fourth support rod, and the third leg support structure 23 includes a hinge, a fifth support rod, and a sixth support rod.

[0093] The first end of the first support rod is hinged to the second end of the third rod 34, the second end of the first support rod is hinged to the first end of the second support rod, and the middle part of the first support rod is hinged to the seat frame body 35. The first end of the third support rod is hinged to the seat frame body 35, the middle part of the third support rod is hinged to the middle part of the second support rod, and the second end of the third support rod is hinged to the first end of the fourth support rod. The second end of the second support rod is hinged to a hinge, the middle part of the fourth support rod is hinged to a hinge, the first end of the fifth support rod is hinged to a hinge, the first end of the sixth support rod is hinged to the second end of the fourth support rod, and the second end of the sixth support rod is hinged to the middle part of the fifth support rod.

[0094] In this embodiment, the fourth mounting rod 74 and the third support rod are fixedly connected.

[0095] In other embodiments, the fourth mounting rod 74 may also be fixedly connected to the fourth support rod, or the fourth mounting rod 74 may be fixedly connected to the first leg support structure 21.

[0096] Specifically, a guide structure is provided between the first moving member 61 and the second moving member 31. The guide structure cooperates with the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to guide the movement trajectory of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 during its forward movement, ensuring the smoothness and accuracy of the forward movement of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. This allows the user to feel the smooth movement and accurate positioning of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 when adjusting the seat depth, improving the stability and comfort of the seat.

[0097] The aforementioned guiding structure includes a guide rail and a pulley. One of the guide rail and the pulley is disposed on the first moving member 61, and the other of the guide rail and the pulley is disposed on the second moving member 31. The guide rail and the pulley interact and cooperate to enable the first moving member 61 and the second moving member 31 to move relative to each other.

[0098] Specifically, in some embodiments, a guide rail is disposed on the first moving member 61, and a pulley is disposed on the second moving member 31.

[0099] In some embodiments, the mechanical extension device has at least six postures, including a normal TV posture, a forward-moving TV posture, a sitting posture, a normal lying posture, a forward-moving lying posture, and a seat-forward-moving posture.

[0100] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, when the mechanical extension device is in a seated position, the third drive member 53, the second drive member 52 and the first drive member 51 are all kept in the retracted position. At this time, the backrest mechanism 40 is in the upright position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the initial position and the leg support mechanism 20 is in the retracted position.

[0101] As shown in Figures 6 and 7, when the mechanical extension device is in the forward-moving TV position, the backrest mechanism 40 is in the upright position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward-moving position, and the leg support mechanism 20 is in the extended position.

[0102] When the mechanical extension device is in the normal TV posture, the backrest mechanism 40 is in the upright position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the initial position, and the leg support mechanism 20 is in the extended position.

[0103] As shown in Figures 8 and 9, when the mechanical extension device is in the forward reclining position, the backrest mechanism 40 is in the backward reclining position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward moving position, and the leg support mechanism 20 is in the extended position.

[0104] When the mechanical extension device is in a normal reclining position, the backrest mechanism 40 is in a reclining position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the initial position, and the leg support mechanism 20 is in an extended position.

[0105] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, when the mechanical extension device is in the forward-moving position of the seat, the backrest mechanism 40 is in the upright position, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward-moving position, and the leg support mechanism 20 is in the retracted position.

[0106] Specifically, since the leg support mechanism 20, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the backrest mechanism 40 can all be driven independently, the posture adjustment of the mechanical extension device is more flexible and can achieve different postures.

[0107] Specifically, in some embodiments, the first drive member 51 can also drive the leg support mechanism 20 to switch between a retracted position and an extended position. This configuration allows the first drive member 51 to control not only the movement of the backrest mechanism 40 but also the extension and retraction of the leg support mechanism 20, improving the functional integration of the mechanical extension device.

[0108] Specifically, the first driving member 51 is disposed between the first mounting rod 71 and the fourth mounting rod 74, and the second driving member 52 is disposed between the second mounting rod 72 and the third mounting rod 73.

[0109] In some embodiments, one end of the first drive member 51 is slidably disposed relative to the base 10. This arrangement ensures that the first drive member 51 drives the leg support mechanism 20 to move.

[0110] As shown in Figures 10 to 16, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a first movable member 61 and a bent rod structure 120. The first movable member 61 is movable relative to the base 10, and the bent rod structure 120 is disposed on the first movable member 61. The bent rod structure 120 has a receiving recess 121, which faces the leg support mechanism 20, and a portion of the support pad can be accommodated within the bent rod structure 120. This arrangement prevents the distance between the support pad and the backrest mechanism 40 from becoming too large, thereby avoiding the problem of items easily falling into the gap between the support pad and the backrest mechanism 40 when the support pad moves.

[0111] As shown in Figures 10 to 16, in some embodiments, the bent rod structure 120 is located at the end of the first moving member 61 away from the leg support mechanism 20. The bent rod structure 120 includes a first limiting rod 122 and a second limiting rod 123. A first preset angle is formed between the length directions of the first limiting rod 122 and the second limiting rod 123. The first end of the first limiting rod 122 is connected to the first moving member 61, and the second end of the first limiting rod 122 is connected to the first end of the second limiting rod 123. The second end of the second limiting rod 123 faces the leg support mechanism 20. A second preset angle is formed between the first limiting rod 122 and the first moving member 61. The aforementioned structures of the first limiting rod 122 and the second limiting rod 123 are simple and easy to install, and can effectively limit the position of the support pad.

[0112] As shown in Figures 10 to 16, in some embodiments, the bent rod structure 120 further includes a connecting portion 124, which connects the first end of the first limiting rod 122 and the first moving member 61. The connecting portion 124 makes the position of the bent rod structure 120 more stable.

[0113] As shown in Figures 10 to 16, in some embodiments, a transmission assembly is disposed between the first moving member 61 and the base 10. The transmission assembly includes a slide groove 131 and a slide rail 132. The slide rail 132 is movably disposed within the slide groove 131. One of the slide groove 131 and the slide rail 132 is disposed on the base 10, and the other of the slide groove 131 and the slide rail 132 is disposed on the first moving member 61. This arrangement allows for the restriction of the movement direction between the base 10 and the first moving member 61, thereby ensuring the movement stability of the base 10 and the first moving member 61.

[0114] It should be noted that the sliding type formed by the cooperation of the slide groove 131 and the slide rail 132 can replace the linkage type formed by the cooperation of the fourth link 81, the fifth link 82, the sixth link 83, the seventh link 84, the eighth link 85 and the ninth link 86.

[0115] The transmission components include sliding type and linkage type. In Figures 1 to 9, the transmission components adopt the linkage type. Of course, the linkage type can be replaced with the sliding type.

[0116] In Figures 10 to 16, the transmission assembly uses a sliding type. Of course, the sliding type can be replaced with a linkage type.

[0117] As shown in Figures 10 to 16, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a backrest mechanism 40, with a bent rod structure 120 connected to the backrest mechanism 40, and a protective structure provided on the bent rod structure 120. This arrangement ensures the stability of the bent rod structure 120 and prevents scratches on the support pad.

[0118] Specifically, as shown in Figures 10 to 16, the backrest mechanism 40 includes an eleventh link, a twelfth link, a thirteenth link, and a fourteenth link. The first end of the eleventh link is hinged to the base 10, the second end of the eleventh link is hinged to the first end of the twelfth link, the middle part of the twelfth link is hinged to the middle part of the bent rod structure 120, the second end of the twelfth link is hinged to the first end of the thirteenth link, the second end of the thirteenth link is hinged to the middle part of the fourteenth link, and the first end of the fortieth link is hinged to the end of the bent rod structure 120.

[0119] It should be noted that in the above embodiments, there are two types of backrest mechanisms 40, namely as shown in Figures 1 and 9 and Figures 10 to 16. These two types of backrest mechanisms 40 can be interchanged.

[0120] It should be noted that the movable sofa has an internal functional frame, which includes a seat frame and a main mechanism for adjusting the seat frame's forward and backward position. The seat frame and main mechanism are also connected to a backrest mechanism, a footrest mechanism, etc., and soft upholstery is installed in sections on these structures, ultimately forming the sofa's upholstered seat, upholstered backrest, and upholstered footrest. The functional frame also has a actuator to drive the entire frame to switch between three-position (sitting, relaxing, and reclining) or two-position (casual and reclining) postures, thereby enabling the movable sofa to switch between these postures. However, in related technologies, the seat depth of the movable sofa is not adjustable, which can easily cause discomfort during use.

[0121] As shown in Figures 17 and 32 to 39, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device includes a base 10, a seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and a transmission structure 90. The seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is movable relative to the base 10 and has an initial position and a forward position; the transmission structure 90 is disposed on the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 and is capable of adjusting the posture sequence. When the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 moves from the initial position to the forward position, the transmission structure 90 restricts the extension of the leg support mechanism 20.

[0122] Applying the technical solution of this embodiment, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 can move relative to the base 10 and has an initial position and a forward position. A transmission structure 90 is disposed on the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the transmission structure 90 can adjust the posture sequence. When the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 moves from the initial position to the forward position, the transmission structure 90 restricts the extension of the leg support mechanism 20. Through the above-described configuration, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 can switch between the initial position and the forward position. When the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward position, it has more space to support the user, thereby improving the user experience. Simultaneously, the transmission structure can adjust the posture sequence; that is, when the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 moves from the initial position to the forward position, the transmission structure 90 restricts the extension of the leg support mechanism 20. This makes the movement posture adjustment of the mechanical extension device more reasonable and comfortable. Therefore, the technical solution of this embodiment effectively solves the problem in related technologies where the seat depth of movable sofas cannot be adjusted, thus affecting the user experience.

[0123] The technical solution of this embodiment is that the limiting effect of the transmission structure 90 enables the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 and the base 10 to be stably maintained in a relatively stable position when the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 moves to the forward position, without being displaced by external forces, thereby achieving adjustable seat depth.

[0124] As shown in Figures 17, 20 to 23, 25, 29, 30, and 34 to 42, in some embodiments, the transmission structure 90 includes a base portion 91 and a limiting portion 92 disposed on the base portion 91. This arrangement utilizes the structural characteristics of the limiting portion 92 to achieve precise forward movement and positioning of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0125] In some embodiments, the base portion 91 is triangular; in other embodiments, the base portion may also be rectangular, a polygon with more than four sides, or a plurality of intersecting rods, etc.

[0126] In embodiments not shown in the figure, the transmission structure 90 can be a lead screw and nut structure, a spring, a multi-link structure, a slide block structure, a gear and rack structure, etc. That is, anything that can limit the movement trajectory of the leg support mechanism 20 is acceptable.

[0127] As shown in Figures 17, 20 to 23, 25, 29, 30, and 34 to 42, in some embodiments, the limiting part 92 includes a limiting groove 921, and a limiting pin is provided on the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The limiting pin is inserted into the limiting groove 921 and can move within the limiting groove 921. The sliding of the limiting pin within the limiting groove 921 achieves the guiding and positioning functions of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The cooperation between the limiting pin and the limiting groove 921 allows the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to move along a preset trajectory during forward movement, ensuring the accuracy and stability of the forward movement of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. This allows for a smooth movement and stable positioning of the seat, improving the user experience.

[0128] In an embodiment not shown in the figure, the limiting part 92 can also be a limiting surface, that is, the limiting pin can abut against the limiting surface. Of course, the limiting part 92 can also be a torsion spring structure, a U-shaped block structure, or a photoelectric, hydraulic, pneumatic, or other limiting structure.

[0129] As shown in Figures 17, 20 to 23, 25, 29, 30, and 34 to 42, in some embodiments, the limiting groove 921 includes a first groove segment 9211 and a second groove segment 9212, with a preset angle between the centerline of the first groove segment 9211 and the centerline of the second groove segment 9212. The segmentation of the limiting groove 921 allows for variations in the preset angle, thereby enabling different movement trajectories of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 during its forward movement, thus meeting different sitting posture requirements. The angle between the centerlines of the first groove segment 9211 and the second groove segment 9212 allows the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to continue moving along the trajectory of the second groove segment 9212 when it reaches the forward position, further adjusting the seat depth. This allows users to select different seat depth adjustment ranges according to personal preferences or physical needs, improving the personalized adaptability of the seat.

[0130] The aforementioned preset angle is between 30 degrees and 170 degrees.

[0131] In an embodiment not shown in the figure, the limiting groove 921 may consist of only the first groove segment, so that the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 can move forward.

[0132] As shown in Figures 20, 22, 23, 29, 30, 34, 35, 37, and 40 to 42, in some embodiments, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 includes a first moving member 61, a connecting rod assembly 36, and a seat frame body 35. The connecting rod assembly 36 is disposed between the first moving member 61 and the seat frame body 35, and the transmission structure 90 is disposed between the first moving member 61 and the base 10. The connecting rod assembly 36 enables the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to move forward and to coordinate with other mechanisms. The combination of the first moving member 61, the connecting rod assembly 36, and the seat frame body 35 allows the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to move forward more smoothly and coordinate with the movement of other mechanisms, ensuring the smoothness and stability of the seat when changing posture. This allows the user to feel the smooth movement and comfortable changes of the seat when adjusting its posture, improving the versatility and user experience of the seat.

[0133] Of course, the linkage assembly 36 can also lift the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, thereby changing the seat height.

[0134] In embodiments not shown in the figures, the first movable member 61 and the seat frame body 35 can be directly hinged, or connected by sliding, or connected by a telescopic rod, or by other connection methods.

[0135] As shown in Figures 20, 22, 23, 29, 30, 34, 35, 37, and 40 to 42, in some embodiments, the transmission structure 90 is hinged to the first moving member 61 at a first hinge point 101, and the transmission structure 90 is hinged to the base 10 at a second hinge point 102. The first hinge point 101 and the second hinge point 102 are spaced apart, and the connecting rod assembly 36 cooperates with the transmission structure 90. The first hinge point 101 and the second hinge point 102 utilize the free rotation characteristic of the hinge to allow the transmission structure 90 to rotate freely between the first moving member 61 and the base 10. Simultaneously, through cooperation, the forward movement and lifting of the seat frame are achieved. The spaced arrangement of the first hinge point 101 and the second hinge point 102 ensures the stability and range of motion of the transmission structure 90 during rotation, thereby guaranteeing the smoothness of the forward movement and lifting of the seat frame.

[0136] It should be noted that in some embodiments, the connecting rod assembly 36 and the transmission structure 90 are in a sliding fit. In embodiments not shown in the figures, the connecting rod assembly 36 and the transmission structure 90 can be a limiting fit, an anti-rotation fit, or a guiding fit, etc.

[0137] In some embodiments, the seat frame body 35 can be raised, which is achieved by the movement of the linkage assembly 36. Of course, the seat frame body 35 can also be raised by other driving structures, such as driving components, sliding block structures, lead screw and nut structures, gear and rack structures, etc.

[0138] When the seat frame body 35 and the first moving part 61 can move relative to each other through a sliding block structure, a lead screw and nut structure, a gear and rack structure, the lifting of the seat frame body 35 can be achieved by setting a lifting structure separately or by linkage. That is, when the seat frame body 35 and the first moving part 61 move, the seat frame body 35 will lift synchronously.

[0139] Of course, in this embodiment, the seat frame body 35 and the first moving member 61 can move relative to each other, that is, the seat frame body 35 does not rise relative to the first moving member 61. In this case, the seat frame body 35 and the first moving member 61 can be connected by a guide limiting structure. The aforementioned guide limiting structure can be a gear and rack structure, a guide groove and guide wheel structure, etc.

[0140] As shown in Figures 20, 22, 23, 29, 30, 34, 35, 37, and 40 to 42, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a guide structure 110, which is disposed between the base 10 and the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The guide structure 110, in cooperation with the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, guides the movement trajectory of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 during its forward movement, ensuring the smoothness and accuracy of the forward movement. This allows the user to feel the smooth movement and accurate positioning of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 when adjusting the seat depth, improving the stability and comfort of the seat.

[0141] As shown in Figures 20, 22, 23, 29, 30, 34, 35, 37, and 40 to 42, in some embodiments, the linkage assembly 36 includes a first hinge rod 361 and a second hinge rod 362. The first hinge rod 361 is hinged to the first moving member 61 at a third hinge point 103. The first end of the second hinge rod 362 is hinged to the first hinge rod 361 at a fourth hinge point 104, and the second end of the second hinge rod 362 is hinged to the seat frame body 35 at a fifth hinge point 105. The first hinge rod 361 cooperates with the transmission structure 90. This arrangement enables the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to move forward and lift, as well as to link with other mechanisms. The arrangement of the third hinge point 103, the fourth hinge point 104 and the fifth hinge point 105 allows the connecting rod assembly 36 to rotate freely during movement. At the same time, through the cooperation of the first hinge rod 361 and the transmission structure 90, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 can be smoothly moved forward and lifted.

[0142] Specifically, in some embodiments, the first hinge rod 361 is in sliding engagement with the transmission structure 90.

[0143] As shown in Figures 20, 22, 23, 29, 30, 34, 35, 37, and 40 to 42, in some embodiments, the linkage assembly 36 further includes a third hinge rod 363. The first end of the third hinge rod 363 is hinged to the first hinge rod 361 at a sixth hinge point 106, and the second end of the third hinge rod 363 is hinged to the seat frame body 35 at a seventh hinge point 107. The third hinge point 103 is located between the fourth hinge point 104 and the sixth hinge point 106. The position where the first hinge rod 361 engages with the transmission structure 90 is located on the side of the fourth hinge point 104 away from the third hinge point 103. The inclusion of the third hinge rod 363 further optimizes the motion characteristics of the linkage assembly 36, making the movement of the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 smoother during forward movement and lifting, and improving coordination with other structures. Furthermore, the aforementioned third hinge rod 363 can further improve the structural strength of the linkage assembly 36 and prevent damage under stress.

[0144] As shown in Figures 17 to 21, 24, and 29 to 43, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a leg support mechanism 20. The leg support mechanism 20 is hinged to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The leg support mechanism 20 has a retracted position and an extended position. When the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward position, the leg support mechanism 20 is in the retracted position; or, the leg support mechanism 20 is in the extended position; or, the leg support mechanism 20 switches between the retracted and extended positions. The aforementioned leg support mechanism 20 can extend and retract, thereby meeting the user's leg support needs in different sitting postures.

[0145] It should be noted that in some embodiments, the transmission structure can achieve sequential adjustment, that is, the leg support mechanism 20 can only move when the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 is in the forward position. At this time, the leg support mechanism 20 can move from the retracted position to the extended position, or from the extended position to the retracted position, or remain in the retracted position or remain in the extended position.

[0146] As shown in Figures 17 to 21, 24, and 29 to 43, in some embodiments, the leg support mechanism 20 includes a first leg support structure 21 and a second leg support structure 22. Both the first leg support structure 21 and the second leg support structure 22 are hingedly connected to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The combined design principle of the first leg support structure 21 and the second leg support structure 22 is to achieve multi-stage extension and retraction of the leg support through hinged connection, thereby meeting the different leg support needs of different users.

[0147] As shown in Figures 17 to 21, 24, and 29 to 43, in some embodiments, the leg support mechanism 20 further includes a third leg support structure 23. The third leg support structure 23 is hinged to both the first leg support structure 21 and the second leg support structure 22, and is located at the end of the first leg support structure 21 away from the seat frame mounting mechanism 30. The addition of the third leg support structure 23 further expands the extension range and flexibility of the leg support mechanism 20, allowing the user to obtain more comprehensive and personalized leg support when adjusting the seat posture.

[0148] Specifically, in some embodiments, the first leg support structure 21 includes a first rod segment and a second rod segment. The first end of the first rod segment is hinged to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the second end of the first rod segment is hinged to the first end of the second rod segment. The second leg support structure 22 includes a third rod segment and a fourth rod segment. The first end of the third rod segment is hinged to the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, and the second end of the third rod segment is hinged to the first end of the fourth rod segment. The third leg support structure 23 includes a support member, a fifth rod segment, and a sixth rod segment. The second end of the second rod segment and the middle portion of the fourth rod segment are both hinged to the support member. The fifth rod segment is hinged to the support member. The sixth rod segment is hinged to the middle portion of the fifth rod segment and the second end of the fourth rod segment.

[0149] It should be noted that in some embodiments, the leg support mechanism 20 can be a four-bar linkage, a six-bar linkage, or other numbers of linkages.

[0150] The fifth rod is equipped with a support column, which is located below the third rod and can abut against the third rod.

[0151] Of course, in embodiments not shown in the figure, the support column can also be set on the seat frame mounting mechanism 30, the first leg support structure 21 or the third leg support structure 23, as long as it can achieve a contact and cooperation relationship with the connecting rod of the leg support mechanism 20 or the connecting rod that is linked with the leg support mechanism 20, that is, as long as it can limit the extension state of the leg support mechanism 20.

[0152] As shown in Figures 17 to 21, 24, and 29 to 43, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a fourth drive member 54, which drives the leg support mechanism 20. The fourth drive member 54 is designed to use a linear actuator, such as a push rod motor or a slider motor, to move the seat frame forward and extend the leg support, thereby meeting the user's needs in different sitting positions.

[0153] In other embodiments, the fourth drive member 54 engages with the seat frame mounting mechanism 30.

[0154] As shown in Figures 17, 18, 20, 21, 25 to 29, 31 to 34, 40, 42, and 43, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a backrest mechanism 40, which is hinged to the base 10. The backrest mechanism 40 has an upright position and a reclining position. The backrest mechanism 40 can achieve both reclining and upright positions, thereby meeting the user's back support needs in different sitting postures.

[0155] As shown in Figures 17 to 31, in some embodiments, when the leg support mechanism 20 is in the extended position, the backrest mechanism 40 can move from the upright position to the reclining position. Through the linkage design of the leg support mechanism 20 and the backrest mechanism 40, the user can easily recline the backrest while extending their legs, thereby achieving a smooth transition from a sitting to a lying position.

[0156] Specifically, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a mounting member, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, a third connecting rod, a fourth connecting rod, a fifth connecting rod, and a sixth connecting rod. The first ends of both the first and second connecting rods are hinged to the base. The second ends of the first and second connecting rods are respectively hinged to the third connecting rod. The first end of the third connecting rod is hinged to the mounting member. The first end of the fourth connecting rod is hinged to the middle portion of the third connecting rod, and the hinge point between the first end of the fourth connecting rod and the third connecting rod is located between the hinge points of the second ends of the first and third connecting rods. The first end of the fifth connecting rod is hinged to the second end of the fourth connecting rod, and the second end of the fifth connecting rod is hinged to the mounting member. The first end of the sixth connecting rod is hinged to the middle portion of the fifth connecting rod, and the second end of the sixth connecting rod is hinged to the base. The mounting member can be supported on the ground or fixed inside the armrest of the seat.

[0157] As shown in Figures 17, 18, 20, 21, 25 to 29, 31 to 34, 40, 42, and 43, in some embodiments, the backrest mechanism 40 includes a backrest body, a first transmission rod, a second transmission rod, a third transmission rod, a fourth transmission rod, and a fifth transmission rod. The first transmission rod is fixed to the base 10. The first end of the second transmission rod is hinged to the first transmission rod. The middle part of the third transmission rod is hinged to the first transmission rod. The first end of the fourth transmission rod is fixedly connected to the backrest body. The second end of the fourth transmission rod is hinged to the second end of the second transmission rod and the first end of the third transmission rod, respectively. The second end of the third transmission rod is hinged to the first end of the fifth transmission rod. The second end of the fifth transmission rod is hinged to the mounting component.

[0158] In other embodiments, the backrest mechanism 40 is hinged to the base 10 via a U-shaped member, or the backrest mechanism 40 is directly hinged to the base 10. Alternatively, the backrest mechanism 40 is hinged to the base 10 via a rotating cylinder structure, the rotating cylinder structure including a cylinder body and a rotating shaft, the rotating shaft being rotatably inserted into the cylinder body.

[0159] In an embodiment not shown in the figure, the mechanical extension device further includes a fifth driving member, which drives the backrest mechanism 40 to switch between an upright position and a reclining position. The fifth driving member is designed to use a linear actuator, such as a push rod motor or a slider motor, to achieve the reclining and upright positions of the backrest, thereby meeting the user's back support needs in different sitting postures. The fifth driving member can move synchronously with the first driving structure or be controlled independently, thus enabling various different adjustment combinations.

[0160] It should be noted that when the fifth drive component controls the movement independently, there may be no connection between the backrest mechanism 40 and the mounting component.

[0161] The mechanical extension device in this embodiment has four postures, including TV posture, sitting posture, lying posture, and seat forward-moving posture. Its working process is as follows:

[0162] Step 1: The fourth drive component 54 is activated, causing the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 to move forward and switch from its initial position to the forward-moving position, that is, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 switches from a sitting posture to a seat-forward-moving posture. At this time, the leg support mechanism 20 remains in the retracted position, and the backrest mechanism 40 remains in the upright position.

[0163] Step 2: The fourth drive component 54 continues to move, which can drive the leg support mechanism 20 to move, that is, the leg support mechanism 20 switches from the retracted position to the extended position. At this time, the seat frame body 35 can remain stationary, or the seat frame body 35 can be raised, and the backrest mechanism 40 remains in the upright position.

[0164] Step 3: The fourth drive component 54 continues to move, the seat frame mounting mechanism 30 remains in the forward position, and the leg support mechanism 20 remains in the extended position. The backrest mechanism 40 switches from the upright position to the reclined position.

[0165] Of course, the backrest mechanism 40 can also be driven by the fifth drive component to switch from the upright position to the reclining position.

[0166] As shown in Figures 44 to 50, in some embodiments, the mechanical extension device further includes a first movable member 61 and a bent rod structure 120. The first movable member 61 is movable relative to the base 10. The bent rod structure 120 is disposed on the first movable member 61 and has a receiving recess 121 facing the leg support mechanism 20. A portion of the support pad can be accommodated within the bent rod structure 120. This arrangement prevents the distance between the support pad and the backrest mechanism 40 from being too large, thereby avoiding the problem of items easily falling into the gap between the support pad and the backrest mechanism 40 when the support pad moves.

[0167] As shown in Figures 44 to 50, in some embodiments, the bent rod structure 120 is located at the end of the first moving member 61 away from the leg support mechanism 20.

This arrangement ensures the stability of the bent rod structure 120 and prevents scratches on the support pad.

[0173] Specifically, as shown in Figures 44 to 50, the backrest mechanism 40 includes an eleventh link, a twelfth link, a thirteenth link, and a fourteenth link.

[0174] It should be noted that in the above embodiments, there are two types of backrest mechanisms 40, namely as shown in Figures 17 and 43 and Figures 44 to 50. These two types of backrest mechanisms 40 can be interchanged.

[0175] According to another aspect of this application, a seating / reclining furniture is provided. The seating / reclining furniture of this embodiment includes a mechanical extension device and at least one support pad, the support pad being disposed on the mechanical extension device, which is the aforementioned mechanical extension device.

[0176] The support pad includes armrests, a seat, a backrest, and a footrest. The armrests are attached to the base 10, the seat is attached to the seat frame body 35, the backrest is attached to the fourth support rod of the backrest body 41, and the footrest is attached to the hinge and the fifth support rod of the third leg support structure 23. This embodiment, by applying the aforementioned mechanical extension device to reclining furniture, achieves multifunctionality, including independent adjustment of sitting posture, seat depth, and leg support. This effectively improves the comfort and personalized experience of reclining furniture, allowing users to freely adjust various postures according to their needs and preferences.
