[0026] As mentioned above, live streaming has become an important form of internet interaction. People can, for example, start their own live streams and become the host. Alternatively, they can join other live streams to access the content.
[0027] In some scenarios, multiple live stream users can participate in interactive events, such as competitive live stream interactions (also known as live stream PKs) or collaborative live stream interactions. However, for users in the live stream (e.g., viewers), the way they participate in interactive events between live streams is singular, which greatly affects the user experience of participating in live stream interactive events.
[0028] In view of this, embodiments of the present disclosure propose a live interactive scheme. According to this scheme, a first live interface associated with a live interactive event can be displayed, the live interactive event being associated with multiple live users, and the first live interface corresponding to a first live user among the multiple live users; in response to receiving a first preset operation in the first live interface, a first resource panel associated with the first live interface is displayed; and in response to the selection of interactive resources in the first resource panel, an interactive constraint corresponding to the interactive resource is triggered to be applied to a second live user among the multiple live users, wherein the interactive constraint indicates the update conditions of the second live user's interactive information in the live interactive event.
[0029] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure enable users to apply such interactive resources to live interactive events, thereby increasing user participation in live interactive events.
[0030] The following section provides a detailed description of various example implementations of this scheme, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0031] Example Environment
[0032] Figure 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. As shown in Figure 1, the example environment 100 may include an electronic device 110.
[0033] In this example environment 100, terminal device 110 may run an application 120 for providing and viewing media content. Application 120 can be any suitable type of application for providing and viewing media content, examples of which may include, but are not limited to, online video applications and live streaming applications. User 140 can interact with application 120 via terminal device 110 and / or its attached devices. User 140 may be, for example, a user providing live content (also referred to as a broadcaster) or a user watching the live stream (also referred to as a viewer).
[0034] In environment 100 of Figure 1, if application 120 is active, electronic device 110 can use application 120 to present interface 150 for supporting interface interaction.
[0035] In some embodiments, electronic device 110 communicates with server 130 to provide services to application 120. Electronic device 110 can be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal, or portable terminal, including mobile phones, desktop computers, laptop computers, notebook computers, netbook computers, tablet computers, media computers, multimedia tablets, handheld computers, portable gaming terminals, VR / AR devices, personal communication system (PCS) devices, personal navigation devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), audio / video players, digital cameras / camcorders, positioning devices, television receivers, radio receivers, e-book devices, gaming devices, or any combination thereof, including accessories and peripherals of these devices or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, electronic device 110 can also support any type of user-facing interface (such as "wearable" circuitry).
[0036] Server 130 can be a standalone physical server, a server cluster or distributed system composed of multiple physical servers, or a cloud server providing basic cloud computing services such as cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communication, middleware services, domain name services, security services, content delivery networks, and big data and artificial intelligence platforms. Server 130 may include, for example, computing systems / servers such as mainframes, edge computing nodes, computing devices in a cloud environment, etc. Server 130 can provide backend services for applications 120 that support content presentation in electronic devices 110.
[0037] A communication connection can be established between server 130 and electronic device 110. This communication connection can be established via wired or wireless means. The communication connection may include, but is not limited to, Bluetooth, mobile network, Universal Serial Bus (USB), and Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) connections; the embodiments of this disclosure are not limited in this respect. In the embodiments of this disclosure, server 130 and electronic device 110 can achieve signaling interaction through the communication connection between them.
[0038] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of this disclosure.
[0039] The following description will continue with reference to the accompanying drawings, which will provide some exemplary embodiments of this disclosure.
[0040] Access to interactive resources
[0041] The following description, with reference to the accompanying drawings, illustrates an example of a live interactive process according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0042] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can provide a live streaming interface for a user. For example, the electronic device 110 can provide a corresponding live streaming interface (e.g., a first live streaming interface) based on the target live streaming room selected by the user. Furthermore, the first live streaming user can establish and realize "cross-live streaming room" interaction by inviting other live streaming users (e.g., a second live streaming user), thereby enabling the first live streaming interface viewed by the user to simultaneously display the live streaming content of the first live streaming user and the live streaming content of the second live streaming user.
[0043] Figure 2A illustrates an example first live streaming interface according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 2A, in the first live streaming interface 200A, the electronic device 110 can present the live streaming content of a first live streaming user (e.g., broadcaster 1) in area 201 and the live streaming content of a second live streaming user (e.g., broadcaster 2) in area 202. Such a first live streaming interface 200A corresponds to the first live streaming user among multiple live streaming users; that is, the first live streaming interface 200A can be presented by a client corresponding to the first live streaming user or a viewer user associated with the first live streaming user. For ease of description, the following description uses the presentation of the first live streaming interface by a client corresponding to a viewer user associated with the first live streaming user as an example.
[0044] In this embodiment of the disclosure, the first live streaming interface is associated with a live streaming interactive event, such as a competitive interactive event (also known as a PK event). As an example, a first live streaming user and a second live streaming user can engage in competitive interaction based on a certain standard over a period of time. After the competitive interaction is completed, the winning live streaming user is determined based on the interaction information of each live streaming room (e.g., interaction value, score value), and a reward is given. It should be understood that the above example of a live streaming interactive event refers to two live streaming users; the live streaming interactive event in this disclosure can be associated with multiple live streaming users.
[0045] In the first live streaming interface 200A, the electronic device 110 can also display interactive components 203 associated with live streaming interactive events to provide feedback on the interaction status of each live streaming room in response to the live streaming interactive events. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can also provide an interactive area 210 corresponding to the current live streaming room in the first live streaming interface 200A, allowing users to interact with the live streaming room based on the interactive area 210.
[0046] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may also display user rankings corresponding to each live streaming room for the live interactive event in the interactive area 210. Such user rankings may include, for example, users ranked in a preset position based on their contribution to the live interactive event, and such contribution may be determined based on the interaction value of virtual gifts given by users. For example, the live streaming room where the first live streaming user is located may correspond to a user ranking 211, and the live streaming room where the second live streaming user is located may correspond to a user ranking 212.
[0047] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may also provide a set of interactive controls 213 in the interactive area 210, allowing users to perform actions such as sending emoticons or gifting items to the streamer. Further, in response to receiving a selection of a target control 214 from the set of controls 213 in the first live streaming interface 200A, the electronic device 110 may present an interactive panel 220 associated with the first live streaming interface, as shown in FIG. 2B. This interactive panel 220 may, for example, be overlaid on the interactive area 210 with a preset transparency. In the interactive panel 220, the electronic device 110 may present a set of interactive resources, such as interactive resource 221-1, interactive resource 221-2, interactive resource 221-3, and interactive resource 221-4.
[0048] In some embodiments, in response to receiving a selection of a target interactive resource 221-3 from a set of interactive resources, the electronic device 110 may present a prompt message 222 to instruct the user to obtain an interactive resource (e.g., a prop card) associated with the live interactive event based on the target interactive resource 221-3. In some embodiments, the acquisition of the interactive resource may be random, i.e., the user may have a probability of obtaining the interactive resource by gifting the target interactive resource 221-3.
[0049] To facilitate user awareness of acquiring the interactive resource, taking Figure 2C as an example, in response to acquiring the interactive resource, the electronic device 110 can display the interface element 230 corresponding to the interactive resource in the first live streaming interface. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can also display dynamic effects corresponding to the interactive resource to indicate that the interactive resource should be added to the first resource panel (e.g., backpack). It is understood that the above is only one way to acquire the interactive resource; such interactive resources could also be preset interactive resources in the first resource panel, and this disclosure does not limit this.
[0050] As a result, users can intuitively perceive the process of acquiring the interactive resource, thereby enhancing their experience of participating in live interactive events.
[0051] Use of interactive resources
[0052] The use of the interactive resources obtained above will be described below with reference to Figures 2C to 2E.
[0053] In this embodiment of the disclosure, the electronic device 110, in response to receiving a first preset operation in the first live streaming interface, displays a first resource panel associated with the first live streaming interface. In some embodiments, such a first operation may be, for example, triggering a target control or a prompt message.
[0054] Taking Figure 2C as an example, in response to receiving a trigger on the prompt message 231 or the target control 214 in the live broadcast interface 200C, the electronic device 110 can present the first live broadcast interface 200D as shown in Figure 2D. In the first live broadcast interface 200D, the electronic device 110 can present a first resource panel 240. As an example, such a first resource panel 240 may include interactive resource 241-1 and interactive resource 241-2 (referred to individually or collectively as interactive resource 241).
[0055] In this embodiment of the disclosure, in response to the selection of interactive resource 241-1 in the first resource panel 240, the electronic device 110 triggers the application of the interactive constraint corresponding to the interactive resource 241-1 to a second live user among multiple live users. Such interactive constraint indicates the update conditions of the second live user's interactive information in the live interactive event.
[0056] In some embodiments, interactive resource 241-1 may be associated with interactive information of a second live stream user during a live stream interactive event. Specifically, the interactive constraints corresponding to interactive resource 241-1 may, for example, enable the updating of the second live stream user's interactive information to be independent of the interactive operations of the first viewer user.
[0057] For ease of explanation, the following description will use the example of a first live stream user associated with a first live stream room and a second live stream user associated with a second live stream room. The first viewer user may be a user within the second live stream room. In some embodiments, the first contribution of such a first viewer user to the interactive information may satisfy a preset condition, which may be related to the ranking of contributions. Specifically, the electronic device 110 determines that the first contribution satisfies the preset condition in response to the first viewer user's first contribution to the interactive information being at a preset position in the contribution ranking list of the second live stream room. As an example, the first viewer user's first contribution to the interactive information in the second live stream room is greater than the contribution of any user in the second live stream room to the interactive information; that is, such a first user may be at the top of the contribution ranking list of the second live stream room.
[0058] In some embodiments, different types of interactive resources 241 may correspond to different interactive constraints. Taking a prop card as an example of an interactive resource 241-1, such a specific interactive resource 241-1 may be called a "freeze card." If a user in the first live stream uses a "freeze card," the interactive information of the second live stream user will not change due to the interactive action of the first viewer user (e.g., sending a virtual gift). For example, for a period of time, the contribution of the interactive actions associated with the first viewer user and the second live stream user to the interactive information of the second live stream user will not increase accordingly. Such a period of time may, for example, be during the live interactive event when the interactive constraint has not terminated.
[0059] As an example, without the "freeze card," the first viewer's contribution to the interactive information based on their interaction could be, for example, 100 points. With the "freeze card" active, the first viewer's contribution to the interactive information based on that interaction could be, for example, 0 points.
[0060] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may trigger an update of the second live stream user's interactive information independently of the second viewer's interactive operation in response to a second viewer user associated with the second live stream user's second contribution to the interactive information meeting a preset condition. Similarly, such a preset condition may be associated with a ranking of contributions.
[0061] In some embodiments, such a second viewer user may be a viewer user within a second live streaming room. As an example, in response to the second viewer user's second contribution to the interactive information being greater than the contribution of any user in the second live streaming room to the interactive information, the electronic device 110 may trigger the application of the interactive constraints corresponding to the interactive resource 241-1 to the second viewer user.
[0062] It is understandable that when the first viewer user is subject to the applied interaction constraint, their contribution to the interactive information will not increase accordingly. Therefore, in response to the fact that the contribution of other users in the second live broadcast room (e.g., the second viewer user) to the interactive information meets the preset condition, that is, the contribution of the second viewer user to the interactive information surpasses that of the first viewer user, the electronic device 110 can trigger the application of the interaction constraint corresponding to the interactive resource 241-1 to the second viewer user.
[0063] To facilitate users in the first or second live streaming room to check whether the second live streaming room is subject to the interactive constraints corresponding to the applied interactive resource 241-1, in some embodiments, in response to the interaction resource 241-1 acting on the first viewer user, the electronic device 110 can display a first prompt element 250 associated with the identification information of the first viewer user (e.g., the first viewer's avatar information, nickname information, etc.) in the first live streaming interface 200E as shown in FIG2E, to indicate that the update of the second live streaming user's interactive information is independent of the first viewer user's interactive operation. Taking the interaction resource 241-1 as an example, the electronic device 110 can, for example, display a "snowflake element" associated with the identification information of the first viewer user in the first live streaming interface 200E, to indicate that the first viewer user is subject to the interactive constraints corresponding to the applied interactive resource 241-1.
[0064] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may stop displaying the first prompt element 250 in response to the termination of the interaction constraint. Specifically, the second live stream user may terminate the interaction constraint by completing a corresponding task or other means. In some embodiments, the termination condition of the interaction constraint is associated with the number of interactive resources used during the live interactive event.
[0065] Figure 2F shows an example second live streaming interface according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The second live streaming interface after using the interactive resource 241-1 can be described below with reference to Figure 2F.
[0066] In this embodiment of the disclosure, in response to receiving a selection for a second live stream user among a plurality of live stream users, the electronic device 110 may display a second live stream interface 200F associated with the live stream interaction event. Such a second live stream interface 200F may be presented by a client corresponding to the second live stream user or a viewer user associated with the second live stream user. For ease of description, the following description will use the example of a client corresponding to a viewer user associated with the second live stream user presenting the second live stream interface.
[0067] In this embodiment of the disclosure, the electronic device 110, in response to a preset operation within the first live streaming interface, displays a reminder message. This reminder message indicates that the interactive constraints corresponding to the interactive resource are applied to the second live streaming user. Taking FIG2F as an example, in response to applying the interactive constraints corresponding to the interactive resource to the second live streaming user in the first live streaming interface, the electronic device 110 can display a reminder message 260 in the second live streaming interface 200F, for example, by applying a "freeze card." In some embodiments, such a reminder message 260 can be displayed in a carousel within the second live streaming interface to better remind users in the second live streaming room.
[0068] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may display a progress control 261 in the second live streaming interface 200F. This progress control 261 can indicate progress information associated with the termination condition of the interactive constraint. As an example, in response to applying the interactive constraint corresponding to the interactive resource to a second live streaming user in the first live streaming interface, the electronic device 110 may display the progress control 261 in the second live streaming interface 200F, for example, "The value to be unfrozen is ××". In another example, in response to the current user being the user to whom the interactive resource has been applied, the electronic device 110 may display a progress control 262 in the second live streaming interface 200F, for example, "Your value to be unfrozen is ××".
[0069] To facilitate users in the second live streaming room to release the interactive constraints corresponding to the interactive resource, in some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can display a second resource panel in response to a user in the second live streaming room triggering the progress control 261 or the progress control 262. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can terminate the interactive constraints or update the progress information in response to a selection of a second interactive resource in the second resource panel.
[0070] As one example, in response to a second live stream user being triggered to apply an interactive constraint corresponding to an interactive resource, electronic device 110 can trigger the second live stream room to initiate a target task. For example, the user in the second live stream room can terminate the interactive constraint by completing the task (e.g., obtaining a preset number of interaction values). As another example, in response to a second live stream user being triggered to apply an interactive constraint corresponding to an interactive resource, electronic device 110 can allow the user in the second live stream room to terminate the interactive constraint by using the interactive resource associated with interactive resource 241-1.
[0071] Taking a prop card as an example of interactive resource 241-1, such a specific interactive resource 241-1 can be called a "freeze card". If a user in the first live stream uses a "freeze card", the interactive information of the second live stream user will not change due to the first viewer's interactive operation (e.g., sending a virtual gift). Furthermore, in response to a user in the second live stream using an interactive resource associated with interactive resource 241-1, such as the "unfreeze card" 241-2 as shown in Figure 2D, the electronic device 110 can terminate the interactive constraint corresponding to the "freeze card".
[0072] In some embodiments, the process of using interactive resources discussed above may be applied only to non-broadcast users in the live stream, so that non-broadcast users can participate more deeply in the interactive events of the live stream.
[0073] Based on this approach, the embodiments of this disclosure enable users to not only interact through interactive operations during live interactive events, but also influence live interactive events by using interactive resources, thereby greatly enhancing user participation in live interactive events.
[0074] Example process
[0075] Figure 3A shows a flowchart of an example live interactive process 300A according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Process 300A can be implemented at electronic device 110. Process 300A is described below with reference to Figure 1.
[0076] As shown in Figure 3A, in box 310, electronic device 110 displays a first live interface associated with a live interactive event. The live interactive event is associated with multiple live users, and the first live interface corresponds to the first live user among the multiple live users.
[0077] In frame 320, electronic device 110, in response to receiving a first preset operation in the first live broadcast interface, displays a first resource panel associated with the first live broadcast interface.
[0078] In box 330, in response to the selection of an interactive resource in the first resource panel, the electronic device 110 triggers the application of an interactive constraint corresponding to the interactive resource to a second live user among a plurality of live users, wherein the interactive constraint indicates the update conditions of the second live user's interactive information in a live interactive event.
[0079] In some embodiments, the interaction constraint makes the updating of the interaction information of the second live user independent of the interaction operation of the first viewer user, wherein the first viewer user's first contribution to the interaction information satisfies a preset condition.
[0080] In this way, embodiments of this disclosure can enhance the user experience of participating in live interactive events by applying the interactive constraint to users whose first contribution to the interactive information meets preset conditions.
[0081] In some embodiments, process 300A further includes: in response to a second contribution of a second viewer associated with a second live user to the interactive information meeting a preset condition, triggering an update of the second live user's interactive information independent of the second viewer's interactive operation.
[0082] In this way, embodiments of this disclosure can support users who contribute to interactive information and meet preset conditions to apply interactive constraints, thereby increasing user participation in live interactive events.
[0083] In some embodiments, preset conditions are associated with the ranking of contributions.
[0084] In this way, the embodiments of this disclosure can support applications not only to a single fixed user, but also allow more users to participate in the interactive constraints corresponding to the interactive resources of the live interactive event.
