[0020] Embodiments of this disclosure will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. While some embodiments of this disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that this disclosure can be implemented in various forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided to provide a more thorough and complete understanding of this disclosure. It should be understood that the accompanying drawings and embodiments of this disclosure are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of protection of this disclosure.

[0021] It should be noted that the headings of any section / subsection provided herein are not limiting. Various embodiments are described throughout this document, and embodiments of any type may be included under any section / subsection. Furthermore, embodiments described in any section / subsection may be combined in any way with any other embodiments described in the same section / subsection and / or different sections / subsections.

[0022] In the description of embodiments of this disclosure, the term "comprising" and similar terms should be understood as open-ended inclusion, i.e., "including but not limited to". The term "based on" should be understood as "at least partially based on". The term "one embodiment" or "the embodiment" should be understood as "at least one embodiment". The term "some embodiments" should be understood as "at least some embodiments". Other explicit and implicit definitions may also be included below. The terms "first", "second", etc., may refer to different or the same objects. Other explicit and implicit definitions may also be included below.

[0023] The embodiments of this disclosure may involve user data, data acquisition, and / or use. All of these aspects comply with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant provisions. In the embodiments of this disclosure, all data collection, acquisition, processing, manipulation, forwarding, and use are conducted with the user's knowledge and confirmation. Accordingly, in implementing the embodiments of this disclosure, the type, scope of use, and usage scenarios of any data or information that may be involved should be communicated to the user and their authorization obtained in accordance with relevant laws and regulations through appropriate means. The specific methods of notification and / or authorization may vary depending on the actual situation and application scenario, and the scope of this disclosure is not limited in this respect.

[0024] In this specification and the embodiments, any processing of personal information will be carried out only under the premise of legality (such as obtaining the consent of the personal information subject, or being necessary for the performance of a contract), and will only be carried out within the scope stipulated or agreed upon. A user's refusal to process personal information other than that necessary for basic functions will not affect the user's use of basic functions.

[0025] As mentioned above, with the increasing maturity of network technology, more and more users are using online platforms for interaction. For example, some users can configure virtual objects to communicate and interact with other users on their behalf. However, existing technology cannot support users configuring functional components in the interactive interface of virtual objects that can be used by other users, resulting in low efficiency of interaction between other users and virtual objects.

[0026] Embodiments of this disclosure propose a scheme for configuring virtual objects. According to this scheme, configuration information associated with functional components can be received from the configuration provider of the virtual object, the configuration information indicating at least guidance information associated with the functional components; and based on the configuration information, the virtual object is configured such that the interactive interface of the virtual object presents an interactive entry point for triggering the functional components, and the functional components are configured to present the guidance information indicated by the configuration information.

[0027] In this way, embodiments of this disclosure can support the configuration provider of virtual objects to provide configuration information, and can configure configuration controls associated with virtual objects based on the configuration information, thereby enriching the interaction methods of virtual objects. Furthermore, embodiments of this disclosure can present interactive entry points for functional components in the interactive interface of virtual objects. Therefore, embodiments of this disclosure can support other users to use functional components and view guidance information associated with functional components based on these interactive entry points, thereby improving the efficiency of users using functional components and improving the interaction efficiency between users and virtual objects.

[0028] The embodiments of this disclosure also propose a scheme for interface interaction. According to this scheme, an interactive entry point can be presented in the interactive interface with a virtual object; in response to triggering the interactive entry point, a functional component is presented, which displays guidance information determined by the configuration operation of the virtual object's configurator; and in response to input content obtained via the functional component, response content generated based on the input content is presented in the interactive interface. It is understood that the interactive interface is configured to support at least one of the following interactive media formats: text, voice, image, or video media content.

[0029] In this way, embodiments of this disclosure can provide an interactive entry point in the interactive interface with virtual objects, and can present functional components and associated guidance information in response to the triggering of the interactive entry point. Embodiments of this disclosure can support configuring functional components in the interactive interface of virtual objects. This enriches the interaction methods with virtual objects and improves the efficiency of user interaction with virtual objects. Furthermore, embodiments of this disclosure can utilize functional components to obtain user input content and generate corresponding response content. Thus, embodiments of this disclosure can obtain user input content based on functional components with guidance information. Such functional components can guide users to input corresponding content, which helps improve the quality of user input content, thereby providing users with more accurate response content and improving the efficiency and quality of response content generation.

[0030] The following section provides a detailed description of various example implementations of this scheme, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0031] Example Environment

[0032] Figure 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. As shown in Figure 1, the example environment 100 may include an electronic device 110.

[0033] In this example environment 100, electronic device 110 can run an application 120 that supports user interface interaction. Application 120 can be any suitable type of application for user interface interaction, examples of which may include, but are not limited to, conversational applications, social applications, or other suitable applications. User 140 can interact with application 120 via electronic device 110 and / or its attached devices.

[0034] In environment 100 of Figure 1, if application 120 is active, electronic device 110 can use application 120 to present interface 150 for supporting interface interaction.

[0035] In some embodiments, electronic device 110 communicates with server 130 to provide services to application 120. Electronic device 110 can be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal, or portable terminal, including mobile phones, desktop computers, laptop computers, notebook computers, netbook computers, tablet computers, media computers, multimedia tablets, handheld computers, portable gaming terminals, VR / AR devices, personal communication system (PCS) devices, personal navigation devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), audio / video players, digital cameras / camcorders, positioning devices, television receivers, radio receivers, e-book devices, gaming devices, or any combination thereof, including accessories and peripherals of these devices or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, electronic device 110 can also support any type of user-facing interface (such as "wearable" circuitry).

[0036] Server 130 can be a standalone physical server, a server cluster or distributed system composed of multiple physical servers, or a cloud server providing basic cloud computing services such as cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communication, middleware services, domain name services, security services, content delivery networks, and big data and artificial intelligence platforms. Server 130 may include, for example, computing systems / servers such as mainframes, edge computing nodes, computing devices in a cloud environment, etc. Server 130 can provide backend services for applications 120 that support virtual objects in electronic devices 110.

[0037] A communication connection can be established between server 130 and electronic device 110. This communication connection can be established via wired or wireless means. The communication connection may include, but is not limited to, Bluetooth, mobile network, Universal Serial Bus (USB), and Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) connections; the embodiments of this disclosure are not limited in this respect. In the embodiments of this disclosure, server 130 and electronic device 110 can achieve signaling interaction through the communication connection between them.

[0038] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of this disclosure.

[0039] The following description will continue with reference to the accompanying drawings, which will provide some exemplary embodiments of this disclosure.

[0040] Example Interaction

[0041] Figure 2 shows a flowchart of an example process 200 for configuring and using functional components according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Process 200 will now be described with reference to Figure 1.

[0042] First, based on Figure 2, the process of configuring functional components associated with virtual objects will be described exemplarily.

[0043] Example 1: Example configuration of virtual objects

[0044] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may receive configuration information associated with a functional component from a configuration provider of a virtual object. As an example, the configuration provider of the virtual object may configure the configuration information associated with the functional component based on a component configuration interface associated with the functional component. Alternatively, the configuration provider of the virtual object may also configure the configuration information associated with the functional component based on a graphical user interface associated with the functional component.

[0045] First, taking obtaining configuration information based on the component configuration interface as an example, as shown in Figure 2, developer 205 can call the component configuration interface (202) to development platform 215. As an example, developer 205 can use an electronic device associated with the developer (e.g., electronic device 110) to call the component configuration interface to development platform 215. As an example, development platform 215 may include a development platform associated with the virtual object. Such development platform 215 can at least provide developer 205 with configuration capabilities associated with the functional components of the virtual object. Development platform 215 can obtain the configuration information associated with the functional components configured by developer 205 based on the component configuration interface.

[0046] In some embodiments, users can configure virtual objects in social applications to interact and communicate with other users on their behalf, thereby fulfilling the interaction needs between users. Such virtual objects can also be referred to as the user's virtual avatar. As an example, the user configuring the virtual object can be referred to as the creator of the virtual object.

[0047] In some embodiments, developer 205 may also be referred to as the configurer of the virtual object. As an example, the configurer here may include the creator or manager of the virtual object. For instance, the manager of the virtual object may have management permissions for the virtual object. Such management permissions may include, for example, permissions to configure the virtual object's dialogue capabilities and permissions to modify the virtual object's visual appearance.

[0048] Alternatively, the configurator of a virtual object can also be associated with the virtual object. For example, such a configurator may include the creator of the virtual object, the administrator, and / or users associated with the virtual object (e.g., users who have a pre-defined relationship (e.g., a friend relationship) with the creator of the virtual object).

[0049] In some embodiments, a virtual object may include any suitable processing entity that supports interaction via prompts or similar means. In some scenarios, a virtual object may also be referred to as a virtual entity, examples of which may include, but are not limited to, agents, bots, or other objects that support interaction via dialogue (e.g., text or voice dialogue). It should be understood that, on the one hand, a virtual object may have a virtual avatar for interaction. On the other hand, a virtual object may also utilize appropriate models to drive its interactive behavior, such models may include any suitable machine learning model, for example, a generative model. This disclosure is not intended to limit the specific construction method of virtual objects. As an example, such a virtual object may be provided by the virtual object server 265 in Figure 2.

[0050] Secondly, taking the configuration information associated with a functional component configured via a graphical user interface as an example, the process of receiving configuration information associated with a functional component from a virtual object's configuration provider will be described exemplarily. For example, electronic device 110 may present a configuration interface (not shown) associated with a virtual object. For example, such a configuration interface may be presented in response to a configuration request associated with the virtual object from a virtual object's configuration provider (e.g., developer 205). Such a configuration request may include, for example, triggering a control associated with the configuration interface in a session interface of the virtual object.

[0051] As an example, electronic device 110 can receive configuration information associated with functional components from the configuration provider of a virtual object via a configuration interface. For example, electronic device 110 can present a set of candidate functional components associated with the virtual object in the configuration interface. As an example, the set of candidate functional components may include multiple candidate functional components corresponding to multiple service capabilities. In response to the selection of a functional component from the set of candidate functional components, electronic device 110 can present at least one configuration control associated with the functional component in the configuration interface. For example, the type of at least one configuration control is determined based on the selected functional component. For example, at least one configuration control corresponding to a candidate functional component associated with image recognition may include a configuration control for configuring the image acquisition method. For example, at least one configuration control corresponding to a candidate functional component associated with file processing may include a configuration control for configuring the supported file types.

[0052] Additionally, the electronic device 110 may have at least one configuration control associated with a functional component to determine configuration information associated with the functional component. For example, the at least one configuration control may include multiple controls associated with multiple parts of the functional component. The electronic device 110 may receive configuration operations or input from the configuration party of a virtual object based on multiple controls to determine the configuration information associated with the functional component.

[0053] In some embodiments, configuration information associated with a functional component received from the configuration provider of a virtual object may at least indicate bootstrapping information associated with the functional component. As an example, such bootstrapping information may be used to indicate how to use the functional component. For example, bootstrapping information may include title information of the functional component (e.g., name information of the functional component). For example, bootstrapping information may include bootstrapping text associated with using the functional component. For example, bootstrapping text may include a description of how to use the functional component. Alternatively, bootstrapping text may also include an introduction to the service capabilities possessed by the functional component. In some embodiments, bootstrapping information may include bootstrapping images associated with using the functional component. For example, bootstrapping images may include examples of methods for using the functional component. For example, bootstrapping images may also indicate quality requirements for files (e.g., image files or other types of files) processed by the functional component.

[0054] In some embodiments, the configuration information may also indicate the guidance information presented in multiple preset areas of a functional component. For example, a functional component may include multiple preset areas. Different preset areas may display different portions of the guidance information.

[0055] As an example, the aforementioned functional components may include an image recognition component. Multiple preset areas may include a first area. For example, the first area may support displaying the title information of the image recognition component. As an example, the title information may indicate the name and / or functional description of the image recognition component. Alternatively, the multiple preset areas may include a second area. For example, the second area may support displaying a sample image of the image recognition component. For example, the sample image may indicate the quality requirements of the image content that the image recognition component supports recognizing (e.g., the sample image is an image that meets the quality requirements). Such quality requirements may include, for example, complete and even borders and clear text and images.

[0056] As an example, electronic device 110 can configure virtual objects based on configuration information, so that the interactive interface of the virtual objects presents an interactive entry point for triggering functional components. As an example, development platform 215 can perform parameter verification (204) on the received configuration information to determine whether the configuration information meets the preset requirements for creating functional components. Further, development platform 215 can send a reminder message to developer 205 indicating that the configuration information has failed parameter verification in response to the configuration information failing parameter verification, so that the developer can modify the configuration information again. Alternatively, development platform 215 can store (206) the configuration information (or configuration) of functional components using database 225 in response to the configuration information passing parameter verification. Database 225 can return (208) a notification to development platform 215 indicating that the storage of configuration information has been completed in response to the completion of the storage of configuration information. Further, development platform 215 can return (208) a notification to developer 205 indicating that the configuration of functional components associated with virtual objects has been completed.

[0057] Alternatively, the interactive interface of the virtual object can also correspond to an interactive space that supports interaction between the user and the virtual object. For example, such an interactive space can be specific to the user. As an example, such an interactive space could be a one-to-one interactive space between the user and the virtual object. Alternatively, such an interactive space can present a virtual scene and visual elements of the virtual object within the virtual scene. As an example, such a user could be a user different from the user configuring the virtual object.

[0058] In some embodiments, the configuration information may also indicate the display parameters of the interactive entry point in the interactive interface. For example, the display parameters may include the presentation position of the interactive entry point in the interactive interface. Thus, embodiments of this disclosure allow developers 205 (e.g., the configurer of virtual objects) to configure the presentation position of interactive entry points associated with functional components in the interactive interface. Alternatively, the display parameters may include, for example, the visual style corresponding to the interactive entry point. Such a visual style may, for example, indicate the text identifier and / or image identifier of the interactive entry point. Thus, embodiments of this disclosure allow developers 205 to set the visual style of the interactive entry point themselves, thereby enriching the visual style presented by the interactive entry point.

[0059] As an example, functional components can be configured to present guidance information indicated by configuration information. For instance, electronic device 110 can present an interactive entry point associated with a functional component in the interactive interface of a virtual object. Electronic device 110 can present the functional component in the interactive interface in response to triggering the interactive entry point. Here, the functional component can present guidance information indicated by the configuration information. In this way, guidance information based on functional components can improve the efficiency of user interaction with the functional components.

[0060] Next, based on Figures 2 and 3A to 3D, an exemplary description of the interaction process associated with the functional components will be provided.

[0061] Example 2: Sample Interface Interaction

[0062] Referring again to Figure 2, user 235 can access (212) a session page based on an electronic device associated with user 235 (e.g., electronic device 110 in Figure 1). Such a session page can be provided by application platform 245. In response to receiving a request to present a session page, application platform 245 can obtain (214) configuration information (also known as configuration) of functional components from chat server 255 so that the functional components can be presented in the session page. As an example, chat server 255 can be used to provide session services to application platform 245. For example, application platform 245 can, for instance, initiate a request to chat server 255 to obtain configuration information of functional components through a preset interface provided by chat server 255. Such a session page may include a session page associated with a first scenario and a second session page associated with a second scenario. The process of presenting and using functional components in a session page will now be described exemplarily with reference to Figures 3A to 3D.

[0063] Figures 3A to 3D illustrate example interfaces 300A to 300D according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Interfaces 300A to 300D may be provided, for example, by the electronic device 110 shown in Figure 1.

[0064] As shown in Figure 3A, the electronic device 110 can present an interactive interface 300A with a virtual object. For example, such an interactive interface 300A may include a first session interface with the virtual object (e.g., a first session page associated with a first scene). Alternatively, the virtual object may be associated with a target user. For example, the target user may be the configurer of the virtual object (e.g., the creator of the virtual object). Such an interactive interface 300A may, for example, include a second session interface with the target user (e.g., a second session page associated with a second scene). For example, the participants in the first session interface with the virtual object may include the virtual object. For example, the participants in the second session interface with the target user may include both the target user and the virtual object.

[0065] Alternatively, the interactive interface of the virtual object can also correspond to an interactive space that supports interaction between the user and the virtual object.

[0066] Referring again to Figure 2, the interaction process associated with the functional components is described exemplarily for the first scenario. For example, the first scenario may indicate that the first session interface associated with the virtual object is the interactive interface 300A. The chat server 255 may, in response to receiving a request from the application platform 245 to obtain the configuration information of the functional components, initiate (216) a request to the virtual object server 265 to obtain the configuration information of the functional components. For example, the chat server 255 may initiate the request to obtain the configuration information of the functional components through a preset interface provided by the virtual object server 265. As an example, the virtual object server 265 may be used to provide interactive services associated with the virtual object to the application platform 245. Further, the virtual object server 265 may obtain (218) the configuration information of the functional components from the development platform 215. The development platform 215 may obtain (220) the configuration information of the functional components from the database 225. The database 225 may return (222) the configuration information of the functional components to the development platform 215. Furthermore, the development platform 215 can return (224) the configuration information of the functional components obtained from the database 225 to the virtual object server 265. The virtual object server 265 can then return (226) the obtained configuration information of the functional components to the chat server 255.

[0067] Alternatively, for the second scenario, an exemplary description of the interaction process associated with the functional component is provided. For example, the second scenario may indicate that an interactive interface 300A is associated with a second conversation interface with a target user. The chat server 255 may directly initiate (228) a request to the development platform 215 to obtain the configuration information of the functional component. For example, the chat server 255 may initiate a request to the development platform 215 to obtain the configuration information of the functional component through a preset interface provided by the development platform 215. The development platform 215 may obtain (230) the configuration information of the functional component from the database 225. The database 255 may return (232) the configuration information of the functional component to the development platform 215. Further, the development platform 215 may return (234) the configuration information of the functional component obtained from the database 225 to the chat server 255.

[0068] Additionally, the chat server 255 can return (236) the configuration information of the obtained functional components to the application platform 245. Furthermore, the application platform 245 can respond to receiving the configuration information of the functional components from the chat server 255 in order to display (238) the functional components (e.g., the interactive entry associated with the functional components) to the user 235 based on the electronic device associated with the user 235.

[0069] In some embodiments, continuing to refer to FIG3A, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 110) associated with user 235 may present interactive entry points in the interactive interface 300A with the virtual object. For example, electronic device 110 may present multiple interactive entry points in the interactive interface 300A. For example, multiple interactive entry points may include entry point 305-1, interactive entry point 305-2, and interactive entry point 305-3, etc. Multiple interactive entry points may correspond to multiple functional components. Further, electronic device 110 may present the functional component corresponding to the interactive entry point in response to the triggering of the interactive entry point. As an example, the presentation position and / or visual style (e.g., text labels and / or image labels) of multiple interactive entry points in the interactive interface 300A may be determined by the configuration operation of the virtual object's configurator.

[0070] In some embodiments, continuing to refer to FIG2, user 235 can click (240) a functional component. For example, an electronic device associated with user 235 (e.g., electronic device 110) can receive the user 235's click on the functional component. Application platform 245 can, in response to user 235's click on the functional component, obtain relevant information about the functional component from development platform 215. Further, in response to obtaining the relevant information about the functional component, application platform 245 can activate (244) a split-screen component (e.g., control electronic device 110 to present the functional component in the interactive interface based on a split-screen style).

[0071] As an example, continuing to refer to Figure 3A, electronic device 110 can, in response to a trigger (e.g., a click operation) on entry point 305-2, present functional components associated with entry point 305-2. As shown in Figure 3B, electronic device 110 can present functional component 310 associated with entry point 305-2 in Figure 1. Functional component 310 can present guidance information determined by the configuration operation of the virtual object's configurator. In other words, such guidance information can be set by the virtual object's configurator.

[0072] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present different portions of the guidance information in multiple preset areas of the functional component 310. For example, the functional component 310 may include multiple preset areas. Different preset areas may be used to present different content.

[0073] As an example, functional component 310 may include an image recognition component and / or a content collection component, etc. The functional component 310 is described exemplarily using an image recognition component as an example. For instance, electronic device 110 may present a first portion of guidance information in a first area (e.g., area 315-1) of the image recognition component. As an example, the first portion of the guidance information may include title information of the image recognition component (e.g., “Report Interpretation”).

[0074] In some embodiments, the guidance information may include guidance text associated with using a functional component. For example, the electronic device 110 may also present guidance text associated with using a functional component (e.g., an image recognition component) in a first area (e.g., area 315-1) (e.g., “We can interpret for you: xxx”). For example, such guidance text may indicate a functional description (or service capability description) of the functional component. Alternatively, such guidance text may indicate quality requirements (e.g., complete borders, clear text and images) for user-uploaded file content (e.g., image content).

[0075] Alternatively, the electronic device 110 may present a second portion of the guidance information in a second area (e.g., area 315-2). For example, the second portion of the guidance information may include an example image (e.g., image 320) from an image recognition component. For example, such an example image may support the quality requirements of user-uploaded file content (e.g., image content). Alternatively, such an example image may indicate the method of capturing image content that meets the quality requirements.

[0076] In some embodiments, continuing to refer to FIG2, user 235 can click to take a photo or select a picture from the album (246). Application platform 245 can obtain the image content provided by user 235.

[0077] In some embodiments, continuing to refer to FIG3B, the electronic device 110 may acquire input content via functional component 310. For example, such input content may include text content and / or image content. For example, the electronic device 110 may provide a text input control in functional component 310 to acquire text content entered by the user. Alternatively, the electronic device 110 may provide an image acquisition entry in the functional component to receive image content provided by the user based on the image acquisition entry.

[0078] For example, the image acquisition entry point may include a camera control 325. For example, in response to a trigger on the camera control 325 (e.g., a click operation), the electronic device 110 may invoke an image acquisition device (e.g., a camera component, or camera) configured on the electronic device 110 to capture image content.

[0079] Alternatively, the image acquisition entry point may include a photo album control 330. For example, in response to a trigger (e.g., a click) on the photo album control 330, the electronic device 110 may display multiple image contents associated with the electronic device 110's local media library (e.g., a photo album). Furthermore, the electronic device 110 may acquire the target image content selected by the user in response to the user's selection of a target image content from the multiple image contents.

[0080] As an example, electronic device 110 may, in response to receiving input content via a functional component, present response content generated based on the input content in an interactive interface. Alternatively, electronic device 110 may, in response to receiving input content via a functional component, present the input content in a functional component. For example, as shown in FIG3C, electronic device 110 may present input content (e.g., image content 335) in functional component 310. Further, electronic device 110 may, in response to confirmation of the input content (e.g., selection of confirmation control 340), present response content generated based on the input content in an interactive interface. Alternatively, electronic device 110 may also provide a delete control 345 associated with the input content in functional component 310, so that the user can delete the input content.

[0081] In some embodiments, continuing to refer to FIG2, application platform 245 may request development platform 215 to detect input content (e.g., an image) (248). In response to receiving the detection request from application platform 245, development platform 215 may request detection service 275 to detect the input content (e.g., an image) (250). As an example, detection service 275 may be implemented as a remote server capable of providing services to functional components. Such a remote server may, for example, be configured with a generative model that can generate corresponding response content based on input content (e.g., image content). This disclosure is not intended to limit the specific configuration or training process of such generative model. Further, detection service 275 may return (252) the detection result to development platform 215. Development platform 215 may return (254) the detection result from detection service 275 to application platform 245.

[0082] Alternatively, application platform 245 may respond to the detection result that the input content (e.g., an image) failed the detection and prompt (256) user 235 that the input content (e.g., an image) failed the detection. Alternatively, application platform 245 may respond to the input content passing the detection and provide the user with a prompt message indicating that the input content passed the detection. User 235 may click (258) to confirm the upload. In response to the user's confirmation of the input content (e.g., an image), application platform 245 sends the input content (e.g., an image) to chat server 255. Further, chat server 255 may perform further detection on the input content (262).

[0083] As an example, continuing to refer to Figure 3D, the electronic device 110 can present input content (e.g., image content 335) in the interactive interface 300D with the virtual object. The electronic device 110 can also present response content 350 in the interactive interface 300D with the virtual object. As an example, the response content 350 may include text content and / or image content. Alternatively, the response content 350 may also include audio content corresponding to the text content.

[0084] As an example, the response content is generated by processing the input content through invoking the service capabilities associated with the functional component. For example, as shown in Figure 2, such service capabilities can be provided by the virtual object server 265. As an example, such service capabilities may include the ability to interpret medical reports, the ability to collect and summarize information, the ability to identify targets in images (e.g., identifying flowers and plants), etc. This disclosure is not intended to limit the specific content of such service capabilities.

[0085] Based on the process described above, embodiments of this disclosure can support the configuration party of the virtual object in providing configuration information, and can configure configuration controls associated with the virtual object based on the configuration information, thereby enriching the interaction methods of the virtual object. Furthermore, embodiments of this disclosure can present the interactive entry point of functional components in the interactive interface of the virtual object.
