Deep-drawing steel and manufacturing method thereof

Abstract

The present invention relates to the manufacture of deep-drawing steel by means of a process comprising: cutting; performing thermal treatment before forging; cold forging; and performing thermal treatment after forging hot-rolled steel sheets. The primary purpose of the invention is to turn non-deep-drawing steel into high-quality deep-drawing steel by means of cold forging and thermal treatment. Using this method ensures more efficient production without needing costly investment or complicated methodologies, in addition to achieving the required mechanical properties. The deep-drawing steel has various applications, such as in brake cylinders and fuel systems requiring high pressure resistance. It can also be used to manufacture containers and thin casings for domestic and industrial devices.
