[0004] The present invention relates to a member for supporting one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles.
[0005] State of the art
[0006] Members for supporting one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles, are known, in which especially the respective article is in the form of an ampoule or a bottle, preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or food-type product, which are associated with corresponding outer holding means that house, and, in particular, surround, or wrap, the same support member, and that preferably are in the form of a corresponding boxshaped body, in particular in corresponding paper material, preferentially in cardboard or paperboard.
[0007] Said already-known support members generally comprise means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, means for backing said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, and means that are adapted to keep said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition.
[0008] A problem encountered in relation to these known support members concerns the difficulty in processing or configuring the support members within the equipment for the manufacture thereof, in particular with the possibility of incorrect mutual positioning of the component parts of the support members.
[0009] A further problem encountered in relation to these known support members concerns the occurrence of undesired deformations in the supportmember, which may also make its processing in packaging machines more difficult.
[0010] Summary of the invention
[0011] The present invention thus aims to provide a new, alternative solution to those known to date, and in particular to overcome one or more of the aforementioned drawbacks or problems and / or to meet one or more of the aforementioned needs, and / or needs otherwise felt in the art, and in particular as may be inferred from the foregoing.
[0012] Therefore, a member is provided, for supporting one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles, especially the respective article being in the form of an elongated article, or in the form of an ampoule, a bottle or other, in particular made of glass or plastic, and preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or food-type product; preferentially the support member being adapted to be part of a corresponding package, especially comprising corresponding outer holding means that house, and, in particular, surround, or wrap, the same support member, and that preferably are in the form of a corresponding box-shaped body, in particular in corresponding paper material, preferentially in cardboard or paperboard; the support member comprising means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, means for backing said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, and means that are adapted to keep said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition; the support member being characterized in that said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, said means for backing said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article and said means that are adapted to keep said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article in the corresponding receiving and holding position orcondition, are on the whole defined by, or made starting from, a corresponding common body defining said support member, which is in a foldable material, preferably in paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard.
[0013] In this manner, it is possible to achieve a better treatment, or configuration, of the support members within the equipments for making these support members, in particular reducing the likelihood of incorrect mutual positioning of the same component parts.
[0014] According to another aspect, a process is provided, for making a member for supporting one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles, especially the respective article being in the form of an elongated article, or in the form of an ampoule, a bottle or other, in particular made of glass or plastic, and preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or foodtype product; preferentially the support member being adapted to be part of a corresponding package, especially comprising corresponding outer holding means that house, and, in particular, surround, or wrap, the same support member, and which preferably are in the form of a corresponding box-shaped body, in particular in corresponding paper material, preferentially in cardboard or paperboard; in which said support member comprises means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, eans for backing said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, and means that are adapted to keep said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition; the process being characterized in that, for making said support member, a corresponding common body is used, made in foldable material, preferably in paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, on the whole adapted to define, or make, said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article, said means for backing said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article and said means that are adapted tokeep said means that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition of the support member.

[0028] A preferred embodiment 10 of a member for supporting one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles 11 is illustrated in the attached Figures.
[0029] Especially, the respective article 11 is in the form of an elongated article, or in the form of an ampoule, a bottle or other, in particular made of glass or plastic, and preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or food-type product.

CLAIMS1. The member according to any one of the preceding claims or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1 , characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition, are connected, in particular directly, to, or extend from, said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11).

The member according to any one of the preceding claims or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1 , characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition are connected in an articulated manner to said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11 ).

The member according to any one of the preceding claims or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1 , characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition are connected, in particular directly, to said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), through a corresponding folding line (24).

The process according to the claim 60, characterized in that said common body (20) for defining said support member (10) is in the form of a shaped or preformed material, made of a foldable material, preferably a paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, which is preferably in a planarshaped configuration, and in particular comprises a panel (201), defining said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) and said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), and a panel (202) defining said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11 ) in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition, which panels (201 , 202) are connected to one another through a respective folding line (24).
62. The process according to any one of the preceding claims 60 and 61 , characterized in that a shaped or blank body, or sheet, is used, which is made of a foldable material, preferably a paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, wherein the means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) comprise, or consist in, a plurality of thin plates (1401, 1403, 1403), in particular elongated, especially transversally elongated, and preferably longitudinally spaced apartfrom each other, between which corresponding means (12) extend, which are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), which preferably are in the form of corresponding foldable means (1201 , 1202) that are suitable to be configurated for receiving the respective article (11 ).
63. The process according to the claim 62, characterized in that the thin plates defining said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) are brough closer to one another by protruding, in particular in a perpendicular direction, the corresponding means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the opposite flaps (125, 126) defining them.
64. The process according to any one of the preceding claims 60 to 63, characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the corresponding panel (202), are rotated, or is rotated, relative to a folding line (24), or relative to said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11 ), or relative to the corresponding panel (201), by inserting said slit means (18), in particular the plurality of slits, on said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11 ).
65. The process according to the claim 64, characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the corresponding panel (202), are rotated, or is rotated, in particular by an angle of, or substantially of, 180°, relative to said folding line (24), or relative to said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the corresponding panel (201 ), bringing the respective face, in particular lower in use, (160), of said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11) in the corresponding receiving and holding position or condition, in anoverlapping and contact condition of said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the respective thin plates thereof.
66. The process according to any one of the preceding claims 60 to 65, characterized in that said means (16) that are adapted to maintain said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11), or the corresponding panel (202), in an overlapping and contact condition, are made integral, or is made integral, especially are glued, or is glued, to an opposite, in particular upper, face, in use, (140) of said means (14) for backing said means (12) that are adapted to receive and hold the respective article (11 ), or the respective thin plates thereof.
67. A shaped or blank body, or sheet, made of a foldable material, preferably a paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, characterized in that it is as set forth in any one of the preceding claims.
68. A member, process, or sheet, each respectively being characterized in that it is made according to any one of the preceding claims and / or as described and illustrated with reference to the attached drawings.
