Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] A PACKAGE FOR HOUSING ARTICLES.

[0003] Field of application of the present invention

[0004] The present invention relates to a package for housing one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles.

[0005] State of the art

[0006] Packages are known, for housing one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles, in particular in glass or plastic, preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or food-type product.

[0007] Said known packages comprise an outer holding body, in the form of a box-shaped body, made of foldable material, or paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, wherein said articles are directly contained in a vertical position, a single article being in contact with adjacent ones, or in a configuration of substantially free movement.

[0008] However, in this manner, it is not always possible to retain each respective article in the appropriate position, which may therefore fall undesirably, resulting in breakage or damage to the article itself and / or to the material contained therein, and in any case creating a configuration of the articles within the package that is disordered and therefore not well received by the end users.

[0009] In addition, filling the box-shaped body with said articles in a substantially loose condition is difficult and not without losses of the same articles within the packaging machines.

[0010] Summary of the invention

[0011] The present invention thus aims to provide a new, alternative solution to those known to date, and in particular to overcome one or more of theaforementioned drawbacks or problems and / or to meet one or more of the aforementioned needs, and / or needs otherwise felt in the art, and in particular as may be inferred from the foregoing.

[0012] Therefore, a package is provided, for housing one or more, preferably a plurality of, articles, especially the respective article preferably being in the form of an elongated article, preferentially in the form of an ampoule, a bottle or other, in particular made of glass or plastic, and preferably containing a pharmaceutical, cosmetical, and / or food-type product; the package comprising an outer holding body, in particular in the form of a box-shaped body, preferably in foldable material, preferably in paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, and being characterized in that it comprises a support member of said one or more articles, which support member is in a foldable material, preferably a paper material, such as cardboard or paperboard, and is adapted to be inserted into said outer holding body, said support member of said one or more articles having corresponding means for engaging and retaining the respective article in an upward oriented position, or in a vertically, or perpendicularly, oriented position.

[0013] In this manner, it is possible to retain the respective article in an appropriate position, thus preventing falls of the same and the consequent drawbacks, and the box-shaped body can also be filled in an easier, safer manner.
