Description

Information Processing Apparatus and Information Processing Program

[0001] The technology of the present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus and an information processing program.

[0002] Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2023-127532 discloses the following system. In this system, an operation for a first user to purchase an accommodation ticket (with no accommodation date specified) for staying at an accommodation facility is accepted. Further, in this system, in response to an operation for transferring the accommodation ticket to a second user different from the first user, gift information for enabling the second user to use the accommodation ticket is generated and presented to the first user. This allows the first user to surprise the second user by gifting the gift information that enables the second user to stay at the accommodation facility to the second user.

[0003] However, in the above system, an accommodation ticket is purchased on a one-off basis, and the gift is transferred thereafter. In this system, when a user continuously uses a service target, the user has to purchase an accommodation ticket each time.

[0004] An object of the technology of the present disclosure is to provide an information processing apparatus and an information processing program that can reduce user inconvenience when continuously using a service target compared to conventional technologies.

[0005] In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the technology of the present disclosure is an information processing apparatus including a storage device, a communication device, and a processor that manages these. The processor controls the storage device such that pieces of information of a use ticket for using a service target and a membership right, which is a qualification that grants the use ticket at fixed intervals, are stored in correspondence with information of the service target. The processor controls the communication device such that the pieces of information of the membership right and the use ticket are transmitted to a member's communication terminal.

[0006] In the second embodiment of the information processing device, in the first embodiment, the processor controls the storage device so that information on the reservation date is stored in correspondence with the information of the object to be used. The processor controls the communication device so that when an access is received from a communication terminal, the information on the reservation date is transmitted to the communication terminal. The communication device receives the information of the usage ticket and the information on the date of use from the communication terminal. The processor controls the storage device so that the information on the date of use received from the communication terminal is stored as information on the reservation date, corresponding with the information of the object to be used that corresponds to the usage ticket.

[0007] In the third embodiment of the information processing device, the communication terminal that transmitted the information on the date of use received by the communication device, as in the second embodiment, is the communication terminal of the entity that acquired the usage ticket.

[0008] In the information processing device of the fourth embodiment, in the third embodiment, the processor controls the storage device so that information of the person who received the usage ticket from the member is stored.

[0009] In the fifth embodiment of the information processing device, in the first embodiment, the processor controls the storage device so that information of the person who has acquired the membership rights is stored as information of the membership rights.

[0010] In the sixth embodiment of the information processing device, in the first embodiment, the usage ticket is used to use the service to be used during the specified period. The processor controls the storage device so that when the usage ticket is sold, the price data is stored corresponding to the usage ticket. When the specified period has elapsed, if there are both sold and unused usage tickets, the processor calculates the refund amount to the member holding the unused usage ticket using the following formula: Refund amount = (total sales price of the usage tickets) * (ratio of the number of unused usage tickets held by the member to the total number of unused usage tickets) * constant

[0011] In the seventh embodiment of the information processing device, in the first embodiment, the object to be used is an object that can be stayed at, and the usage ticket is an accommodation ticket for staying at the object that can be stayed at.

[0012] In the information processing device of the eighth embodiment, in the seventh embodiment, the accommodation voucher is a voucher for one night's stay at the accommodation-eligible accommodation per voucher per voucher, 365 membership rights are issued for the accommodation-eligible accommodation, and one accommodation voucher is granted to each membership right.

[0013] The information processing program of the ninth aspect is a program that causes a computer to perform the following processes: The processes include controlling a storage device so that information on a usage ticket for using the subject to be used and membership rights, which are qualifications granted periodically by the usage ticket, are stored in correspondence with information on the subject to be used. The processes also include controlling a communication device so that information on the membership rights and the usage ticket is transmitted to the member's communication terminal.

[0014] The tenth aspect is a non-temporary, computer-readable storage medium for storing the information processing program of the second aspect.

[0015] The eleventh aspect of the information processing method includes a processor controlling a storage device so that information on a usage ticket for using the object to be used and membership rights, which are qualifications granted periodically by the usage ticket, are stored in correspondence with information on the object to be used. The information processing method also includes the processor controlling a communication device so that information on the membership rights and the usage ticket is transmitted to the member's communication terminal.

[0016] The first, ninth, tenth, and eleventh embodiments store information on a usage ticket for using the target object and information on a membership right, which is a qualification granted periodically with the usage ticket, in the storage device in correspondence with information on the target object. The information on the membership right and the usage ticket is transmitted to the member's communication terminal. In this way, if a user has a membership right, they are granted a usage ticket for using the target object periodically. Therefore, the inconvenience for the user when continuously using the target object can be reduced compared to the conventional technology.

[0017] In the second embodiment, information on the reservation date is stored in the storage device in correspondence with the information of the person to be used, and when an access is received from a communication terminal, the information on the reservation date is transmitted to the communication terminal. When the information on the usage ticket and the information on the date of use are received from the communication terminal, the information on the date of use received from the communication terminal is stored in the storage device as information on the reservation date, corresponding to the information of the person to be used that corresponds to the usage ticket. Therefore, the second embodiment makes it easier to grasp the usage status of the person to be used in advance.

[0018] In the third embodiment, the communication terminal that transmitted the information about the date of use received by the communication device is the communication terminal of the entity that acquired the usage ticket. Therefore, the third embodiment makes it possible to transfer the usage ticket and enables flexible use by the user.

[0019] In the fourth embodiment, information of the person who received the usage ticket from the member is stored in the storage device. Therefore, the fourth embodiment makes it possible to manage the transfer history of the usage tickets.

[0020] In the fifth embodiment, information about the person who acquires the membership is stored in the storage device as information about the membership. Therefore, in the fifth embodiment, the transfer of membership stimulates the secondary market and improves the flexibility of use of the subject to be used.

[0021] In the sixth aspect, the amount of the refund to members who have unused vouchers is calculated using the following formula: Refund amount = (Total sales price of the vouchers) * (Ratio of the number of unused vouchers held by the member to the total number of unused vouchers) * Constant. Thus, in the sixth aspect, there is a system in place where a portion is refunded even if the vouchers are not used, allowing members to purchase membership vouchers with peace of mind.

[0022] In the seventh embodiment, the object to be used is an object where accommodation is available, and the usage ticket is an accommodation ticket for staying at the object where accommodation is available. Therefore, the seventh embodiment can reduce the inconvenience for the user when continuously using the object where accommodation is available compared to the prior art.

[0023] In the eighth embodiment, each accommodation voucher is valid for one night's stay at the accommodation facility per year, and 365 membership rights are issued for the accommodation facility, with one accommodation voucher granted to each membership right. Thus, in the eighth embodiment, 365 membership rights are issued, and management of one night per day becomes possible, thereby optimizing the occupancy rate of the accommodation facility.

[0034] The storage device 22 includes an information processing program storage area 22MP and a management database 22TD.

[0035] The information processing program storage area 22MP stores the database setup processing program (see Figure 2), the purchase processing program (see Figure 4), the accommodation management processing program (see Figure 6), the sales processing program (see Figures 9 and 11), and the accommodation voucher purchase price refund processing program (Figure 13).

[0036] The accommodation management processing program (see Figure 6) consists of two parts: firstly, an accommodation management processing program for members to make reservations for accommodations in the building, and secondly, an accommodation management processing program for purchasers of accommodation vouchers to make reservations for accommodations in the building. The sales processing program consists of two parts: firstly, a membership sales processing program (see Figure 9), and secondly, an accommodation voucher sales processing program (see Figure 11).

[0037] The processor 14 reads each program from the information processing program storage area 22MP and performs information processing by executing the read program on the RAM 16. The processor 14 operates as a setting processing unit 14A, a purchase processing unit 14B, a lodging management processing unit 14C, and a sales processing unit 14D according to the program executed on the RAM 16.

[0038] Figure 1B is a diagram showing the various databases in the management database 22TD. As shown in Figure 1B, the management database 22TD includes a building database 22P, a membership database 22Q, a lodging voucher database 22R, a member information database 22S, a lodging date database 22T, and a lodging voucher purchaser database 22U. The management database 22TD also includes a database 22N for membership data currently on sale and a database 22M for lodging voucher data currently on sale.

[0039] The building database 22P is a database that stores information about buildings A, B, ... Specifically, information about buildings A, B, ... includes, for example, information related to each of multiple buildings, and more specifically, building identification information, exterior and interior image data, address, construction date, historical information, evaluation information, and structural information, as well as information about previous owners. For example, a building that is the subject of information A is shown as building a. A building that is the subject of information B is shown as building b.

[0040] Historical information includes information about the building's past history or changes, cultural or social background, architectural style characteristics, and related individuals or events. Evaluation information is information that assesses or analyzes the value or importance of the building from multiple perspectives.

[0041] Structural information includes, for example, the number of floors in the building and the floor plan of each floor. Information about the previous owner includes the previous owner's address, name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, etc.

[0042] The membership database 22Q is a database that stores membership data AM1, AM2, ... Specifically, the membership data includes membership identification information, information indicating which membership it is for the same building, and corresponding building identification information. Each piece of information in the membership data is an example of the "membership information" in the technology disclosed herein.

[0043] The accommodation ticket database 22R is a database that stores accommodation ticket data AT1, AT2, ... . Specifically, the accommodation ticket data includes identification information of the accommodation ticket, the available accommodation period, identification information of the corresponding building, identification information of the corresponding membership right, and the like. Each piece of information in the accommodation ticket data is an example of "accommodation ticket information" in the technology of the present disclosure.

[0044] The member information database 22S is a database that stores member information AP1, AP2, ... . The member information includes the member's address, name, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, etc., as well as identification information of the corresponding building, identification information of the corresponding membership right, identification information of the corresponding accommodation ticket, and the like.

[0045] The scheduled accommodation date database 22T is a database that stores scheduled accommodation date data. The scheduled accommodation date data includes the scheduled accommodation year and month of the corresponding building, as well as identification information of the corresponding building, identification information of the corresponding membership right, identification information of the corresponding accommodation ticket, and the like. The scheduled accommodation date data is an example of "usage reservation date information" in the technology of the present disclosure.

[0046] The accommodation ticket purchaser database 22U is a database that stores accommodation ticket purchaser data h1, ... . The accommodation ticket purchaser data includes the address, name, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. of the person who purchased the accommodation ticket, as well as identification information of the corresponding building, identification information of the corresponding membership right, identification information of the corresponding accommodation ticket, and the like.

[0047] The on-sale membership right database 22N is a database that stores data related to membership rights that are currently on sale. The data related to the on-sale membership right includes information of the corresponding building, membership right data, and accommodation ticket data corresponding to the membership right data.

[0048] The on-sale accommodation ticket database 22M is a database that stores data related to accommodation tickets that are currently on sale. The data related to the on-sale accommodation ticket includes information of the corresponding building and the accommodation ticket data.

[0049] The membership in this embodiment is a qualification that grants accommodation vouchers for a certain period, for example, every year. The certain period is not limited to one year; for example, it could be three months, six months, eighteen months, two years, etc. In the following, we will explain using the example that the membership is a qualification that grants accommodation vouchers every year.

[0050] One accommodation voucher is issued for each membership. Each voucher is valid for one night's stay at a building per year. 365 memberships are issued for each building. With 365 memberships issued and the ability to manage one night per day, the occupancy rate of eligible accommodations can be optimized.

[0051] The number of memberships issued per building is not limited to 365. For example, any number greater than 366 may be issued. The number of accommodation vouchers and memberships issued is not limited to these. A maximum of 182, 121, 91, ... memberships may be issued per building. Accommodation vouchers may, for example, be for a stay of 2, 3, 4, ... nights per year per voucher. Thus, (the maximum number of memberships issued per building, and the number of days per year that can be stayed in a building per accommodation voucher) are (365, 1 day), (182, 2 days), (121, 3 nights), etc. The total number of days that can be stayed in a building with all accommodation vouchers issued in this way is within one year (365 days).

[0052] However, contrary to the above, accommodation vouchers are not limited to being issued as one voucher per membership; multiple vouchers may be issued.

[0053] As described above, a membership is a qualification that grants accommodation vouchers at regular intervals (e.g., 30 days, 1 year, 2 years), and at least one accommodation voucher is issued for each membership. In this case, the validity period of the accommodation voucher is not limited to corresponding to the regular intervals (e.g., 30 days, 1 year, 2 years) mentioned above. For example, even if a membership grants accommodation vouchers at regular intervals (e.g., 30 days, 1 year, 2 years), the validity period of the accommodation voucher does not have to correspond to these regular intervals. For example, even if a membership grants accommodation vouchers annually, the validity period of the accommodation voucher could be 30 days, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, etc. Also, even if a membership grants accommodation vouchers every 2 years, the validity period of the accommodation voucher could be 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 6 years, etc.

[0054] Based on the above, as shown in Figure 1B, for example, for building a, 365 membership data AM1, AM2, ... AM365 and one accommodation voucher data AT1, AT2, ... AT365 are stored for each of the membership data AM1, AM2, ... AM365. A person who acquires a membership becomes a member, and member information is stored corresponding to the membership and accommodation vouchers. A person may acquire one membership or multiple memberships.

[0055] (Database related to building a) In the example shown in Figure 1B, all membership rights for building a have been purchased, and there are 365 members. Each member of building a possesses one accommodation voucher.

[0056] The membership database 22Q stores membership data AM1, AM2, ... AM365, corresponding to information A of building a.

[0057] The accommodation voucher database 22R stores accommodation voucher data AT1, AT2, ... AT365, corresponding to membership data AM1, AM2, ... AM365.

[0058] The member information database 22S stores member information AP1, AP2, ... AP365 corresponding to the membership data AM1, AM2, ... AM365 and accommodation voucher data AT1, AT2, ... AT365.

[0059] The accommodation date database 22T stores accommodation date information corresponding to accommodation voucher data AT1, AT2, ... AT365, such as January 1, 2025 (i.e., 20250101), May 5, 2025 (i.e., 20250505), ... June 6, 2025 (i.e., 20250606).

[0060] In the example above, the planned stay dates stored corresponding to the accommodation voucher data AT1, AT2, ... AT365 are "20250101", "20250505", ... "20250606", but these are just examples. The planned stay date is the date selected by each member using the accommodation voucher data. Therefore, for example, a member corresponding to the member information API may select February 1, 2025 as their planned stay date, and "20250201" may be stored as the planned stay date.

[0061] The accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U stores accommodation voucher purchaser data h1 corresponding to accommodation voucher data AT1.

[0062] (Database related to building b) Regarding building b, all membership rights for building b have been purchased, and there are 10 members. Each member of building b has 36 membership data and accommodation voucher data, distributed roughly equally.

[0063] The membership database 22Q stores membership data BM1, BM2, ... BM365, corresponding to the information B for building b.

[0064] The accommodation voucher database 22R stores accommodation voucher data BT1, BT2, ... BT365, corresponding to membership data BM1, BM2, ... BM365.

[0065] The member information database 22S stores member information BP1 corresponding to membership data BM1 to BM36, member information BP2 corresponding to membership data BM37 to BM72, ..., and member information BP10 corresponding to membership data BM325 to BM365. Note that Figure 1B also stores the same member information BP1 corresponding to membership data BM1 and BM2.

[0066] In the accommodation date database 22T, the areas corresponding to the accommodation voucher data BT1, BT2, ... do not store the accommodation date, while the area corresponding to the accommodation voucher data BT365 stores the accommodation date, i.e., January 1, 2025 (i.e., 20250101).

[0067] In the accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U, there is no record in the column corresponding to building b. In other words, no accommodation voucher for building b has been purchased by anyone else.

[0068] Buildings are an example of the "objects to be used" and "objects where accommodation is possible" of the technology disclosed herein. Accommodation vouchers are an example of the "vouchers for use" of the technology disclosed herein. Staying in a building is an example of the "use of the objects to be used" of the technology disclosed herein.

[0069] (Function) Next, the function of this embodiment will be explained.

[0070] (Database setup following building purchase) First, we will explain the process that server 10 performs when a management company (corporation) purchases a new building. When a management company purchases a new building, it is necessary to set up each database.

[0071] Figure 2 is a flowchart of an example of a database configuration processing program. Figure 3 is a diagram showing the processing contents of the configuration processing unit 14A.

[0072] The following explanation will take the example of a management company newly purchasing building a. When a management company newly purchases building a, it is necessary to set up the following databases for building a in the management database 22TD. Specifically, these are the building database 22P, membership database 22Q, accommodation voucher database 22R, member information database 22S, scheduled accommodation date database 22T, and accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U.

[0073] The management company has legal personality as a legal entity, such as a stock company or limited liability company. Alternatively, a natural person may also be the management company.

[0074] When the management company newly purchases building a, the management company's operator turns on the setting process start button (not shown) on the input device 12. This starts the setting process program. The setting processing unit 14A executes the setting process program, thereby executing the setting process and the setting process method.

[0075] The operator who turns on the setting process start button inputs information from the building database 22P, membership database 22Q, and accommodation voucher database 22R via the input device 12. In step 52, the setting processing unit 14A accepts the input of information from the above databases 22P, 22Q, and 22R.

[0076] In step 54, the setting processing unit 14A displays the information from the databases 22P, 22Q, and 22R on the display device 20.

[0077] The operator checks the displayed information, makes any necessary corrections, and after making corrections, or if there are no corrections needed, turns on the memory button (not shown). When the memory button is turned on, in step 56, the setting processing unit 14A sets up databases 22P, 22Q, 22R, 22S, 22T, and 22U for building a, and controls the storage device 22 so that the information from databases 22P, 22Q, and 22R is stored. As shown in Figure 3, the setting processing unit 14A controls the storage device 22 so that information A for building a is stored in building database 22P, membership data AM1 to AM365 is stored in membership database 22Q, and accommodation data AT1 to AT365 is stored in accommodation database 22R.

[0078] Note that information will not be stored in databases other than the building database 22P, the membership database 22Q, and the accommodation voucher database 22R.

[0079] Through the above configuration process, databases 22P, 22Q, 22R, 22S, 22T, and 22U are set up corresponding to building a, and the above data corresponding to building a is stored in databases 22P, 22Q, and 22R. Therefore, it is possible to sell membership rights and manage membership rights and accommodation vouchers for newly purchased buildings.

[0080] In this embodiment, the case in which a management company purchases a building is used as an example for explanation, but the technology of this disclosure is not limited to this, and it may also apply to cases in which a management company leases a building and provides accommodation (i.e., subleases) the building to members.

[0081] (Purchase of Membership Rights) Next, we will explain how to purchase membership rights for buildings.

[0082] Figure 4 is a flowchart of an example of a membership purchase processing program. Figure 5 is a diagram showing the processing contents of the purchase processing unit 14B.

[0083] Applicants for purchasing membership rights communicate with the communication device 18 on the management company's server 10 from their own communication terminal, such as a smartphone, to apply for the purchase of membership rights for a building. The applicant sends application information to the communication device 18, including the designation of the building for which they wish to purchase membership rights, the number of membership rights, and the applicant's information (i.e., address, name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, etc.).

[0084] When information regarding an application to purchase a building membership is received in this manner, the membership purchase processing program starts. The purchase processing unit 14B executes the membership purchase processing program, thereby executing the purchase process and the purchase processing method.

[0085] In step 62, the purchase processing unit 14B receives the application information for the purchase of a building membership, which is received via the communication device 18.

[0086] In step 64, the purchase processing unit 14B reads information on buildings, membership rights, and accommodation vouchers from the building database 22P, membership rights database 22Q, and accommodation voucher database 22R of the management database 22TD in the storage device 22.

[0087] For example, suppose there is an application to purchase one membership data AM1 for building a. As shown in Figure 5, the purchase processing unit 14B reads information A for building a from the building database 22P. The purchase processing unit 14B reads membership data AM1 corresponding to information A for building a from the membership database 22Q. The purchase processing unit 14B reads accommodation voucher data AT1 corresponding to information A for building a and membership data AM1 from the accommodation voucher database 22R.

[0088] In step 66, the purchase processing unit 14B displays information about the building, membership rights, accommodation vouchers, and applicant on the display device 20. In the above example, the purchase processing unit 14B displays information about building a A, membership rights data AM1 corresponding to information about building a A A, accommodation voucher data AT1 corresponding to information about building a A A A and membership rights data AM1, and applicant information (as membership information AP1) on the display device 20. The operator confirms the contents displayed on the display device 20. The operator confirms the displayed information, corrects any parts that need correction, and after correction, or if there are no parts that need correction, turns on a memory button (not shown).

[0089] In step 68, the purchase processing unit 14B stores the applicant's information in the storage device 22 in response to the memory button being turned on. Specifically, in the above example, the purchase processing unit 14B stores the applicant's information as member information AP1 in the member information database 22S, which corresponds to the building information A, membership data AM1, and accommodation voucher data AT1.

[0090] In step 70, the purchase processing unit 14B controls the communication device 18 so that the membership and accommodation voucher information is transmitted to the applicant's communication terminal. In the above example, the membership data AM1 and accommodation voucher data AT1 are transmitted to the applicant's communication terminal.

[0091] As described above, the applicant information for the membership data AM1 of building a is stored as member information AP1 in the member information database 22S in the column corresponding to building a and membership data AM1. Furthermore, the membership data AM1 is transmitted to the communication terminal of the applicant who has become a member. As a result, the applicant becomes a member.

[0092] Furthermore, as described above, the accommodation voucher data AT1 is transmitted to the communication terminal of the applicant who has become a member. Therefore, the applicant who has become a member can use the accommodation voucher data AT1, that is, stay at building a.

[0093] In this embodiment, applicants who become members need to make a reservation to stay at building a using the accommodation voucher data AT1.

[0094] Membership can also be proven using an NFT (non-fungible token).

[0095] In this embodiment, the server 10, via the communication device 18, sends accommodation voucher data corresponding to each membership data to each member's email address at regular intervals (one year as described above), for example, on October 1st of each year. Each member can then specify a date between October 1st and December 31st of the following year to make a reservation for accommodation. Note that the date on which the accommodation voucher data is sent is not limited to October 1st; it could also be November 1st or December 1st. In these cases, the period during which reservations can be made may be between January 1st and December 31st of the following year, or between February 1st of the following year and January 31st of the year after that, etc.

[0096] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a person who becomes a member between October 1st of one year and September 30th of the following year can make a reservation for accommodation by specifying a date between the date of membership and December 31st of the year in which the membership was established. For example, a person who becomes a member on November 1st of a certain year (e.g., 2025) can make a reservation for accommodation by specifying a date between that date and December 31st of that year (2025). Similarly, a person who becomes a member on February 1st of a certain year (e.g., 2026) can make a reservation for accommodation by specifying a date between that date and December 31st of that year (2026). These reservations are possible if the purchased membership has not yet used up its accommodation vouchers for the current year, but cannot be used if the purchased membership has already used up its accommodation vouchers for the current year.

[0097] Furthermore, server 10 transmits accommodation voucher data for a date between January 1st and December 31st of the following year (2026) to the terminal devices of those who become members between October 1st and December 31st of a certain year (for example, 2025). This allows those who become members between October 1st and December 31st of a certain year (for example, 2025) to specify a date between January 1st and December 31st of the following year (2026) and make a reservation for accommodation.

[0098] (Reservations for accommodation in buildings) Next, we will explain the processing of server 10 when a member or purchaser of accommodation vouchers makes a reservation for accommodation in a building using the accommodation voucher data.

[0099] (Reservations for accommodation in buildings by members) First, we will explain the processing of server 10 when a member makes a reservation for accommodation in a building. Figure 6 is a flowchart of an example of a lodging management processing program for a member to make a reservation for accommodation in a building. Figure 7 is a diagram showing the processing contents of the lodging management processing unit 14C.

[0100] The member accesses server 10 from their communication terminal and sends request information to server 10's communication device 18, specifying a building and requesting that it send information about the reservation date for the specified building in order to make a reservation for accommodation at that building. The request information includes membership data.

[0101] When the communication device 18 of server 10 receives the above request information, the accommodation management processing program for members to make reservations for accommodations in the building is started. The accommodation management processing unit 14C executes the accommodation management processing program, thereby executing the accommodation management processing and accommodation management processing method.

[0102] In step 72, the accommodation management processing unit 14C receives request information for a request to transmit information on the accommodation reservation date for a building. This transmission request information includes information on the building for which the accommodation reservation is to be made. For example, let's take the case where information A for building a is included as an example.

[0103] In step 74, the accommodation management processing unit 14C reads the accommodation reservation date information stored in correspondence with the information A of building a from the column corresponding to the information A of building a in the accommodation schedule date database 22T, and transmits the read accommodation reservation date information to the member's communication terminal.

[0104] In the example shown in Figure 7, the information for the accommodation reservation dates is 20250101, 20250505, ... 20250606.

[0105] The display device (not shown) on the member's communication terminal displays information about the reservation date for building a. Upon viewing this display, the member selects an available date and sends the selected date and the information of the accommodation voucher stored on their communication terminal to server 10.

[0106] In step 76, the accommodation management processing unit 14C receives information about the accommodation voucher and the date of stay via the communication device 18.

[0107] In step 78, the accommodation management processing unit 14C stores the information of the day of stay as information of the accommodation reservation date in the columns of the accommodation schedule date database 22T that correspond to the building and accommodation ticket data ATn. This makes it easier to understand the usage status of the building in advance.

[0108] For example, if the accommodation voucher data ATn is stored on the member's communication terminal, the member sends the information of the accommodation voucher data ATn and the date of stay (for example, April 1, 2025) to the server 10 via the communication terminal. The server 10 receives the accommodation voucher data ATn and the date of stay and stores the information of the date of stay (for example, 20250401 (April 1, 2025)) in the column of the scheduled stay date database 22T corresponding to the information A of building a and the accommodation voucher data ATn.

[0109] The above accommodation management process completes the member's reservation for accommodation at the building. Therefore, the member can stay at the designated building on the reserved date.

[0110] (Transfer of accommodation vouchers, reservations for accommodation in buildings by purchasers of accommodation vouchers) The examples described above involve members making reservations for accommodation in buildings, but the technology disclosed herein is not limited to this, and purchasers of accommodation vouchers may also make reservations for accommodation in buildings.

[0111] In this embodiment, the accommodation voucher itself can be the subject of a transaction. Specifically, a member (transferor) can transfer their accommodation voucher to a non-member or another member who is a transferee. In this case, the member (transferor) can transfer their accommodation voucher to a non-member or another member directly or via the server 10. Specifically, the member (transferor) can transmit the accommodation voucher data from their own communication terminal to the communication terminal of a non-member or another member who is a transferee, directly or via the server 10.

[0112] The following describes the case where a member (transferor) transmits accommodation voucher data from their own communication terminal to the communication terminal of a non-member or another member's transferee via server 10.

[0113] Outside of server 10, a transfer agreement for the accommodation voucher is concluded between a member and a non-member or another member. As a result, the other party to the transfer agreement (the aforementioned non-member or other member) becomes the purchaser of the accommodation voucher.

[0114] Subsequently, the member (transferor) transmits building information, accommodation voucher data, and accommodation voucher purchaser data to server 10 from their communication terminal.

[0115] Figure 8 shows the processing details of the accommodation management processing unit 14C when the communication device 18 receives building information, accommodation voucher data, and accommodation voucher purchaser data from the member's (transferor's) communication terminal.

[0116] The accommodation management processing unit 14C receives building information, accommodation voucher data, and accommodation voucher purchaser data from the member's (transferor's) communication terminal via the communication device 18. For example, it receives building a information A, accommodation voucher data ATn, and accommodation voucher purchaser data h1.

[0117] The accommodation management processing unit 14C stores the accommodation voucher purchaser data h1 in the column corresponding to the accommodation voucher data ATn in the accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U.

[0118] Subsequently, the purchaser (transferee) of the accommodation voucher can use the accommodation voucher data ATn to make a reservation for accommodation at the building. Specifically, the server 10 executes an accommodation management processing program, similar to the accommodation management processing program shown in Figure 6, in communication with the accommodation voucher (transferee)'s communication terminal, to allow the accommodation voucher to make a reservation for accommodation at the building.

[0119] The purchaser (transferee) of the accommodation voucher accesses the server 10 from their communication terminal and sends request information to the communication device 18 of the server 10, specifying a building and requesting that it send information about the reservation date for the specified building in order to make a reservation for accommodation at that building. The request information includes the data of the accommodation voucher purchaser.

[0120] As described above, in step 72, the accommodation management processing unit 14C receives request information for a request to transmit information on the accommodation reservation date of the building. As described above, the request information includes data on the purchaser of the accommodation voucher.

[0121] In step 74, the accommodation management processing unit 14C determines whether the accommodation voucher purchaser data in the request information matches the accommodation voucher purchaser data h1 in the column corresponding to the accommodation voucher in the accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U. Only if the determination is affirmative, the accommodation management processing unit 14C reads the accommodation reservation date information stored in correspondence with the information A of building a from the column corresponding to building a in the accommodation scheduled date database 22T, and transmits the read accommodation reservation date information to the member's communication terminal.

[0122] Through the above accommodation management process, the reservation for accommodation at the building by the purchaser of the accommodation voucher is completed. Therefore, the purchaser of the accommodation voucher can stay at the designated building on the reserved date.

[0123] (Transfer of Membership Rights) In this embodiment, membership rights can be the subject of transactions in themselves. Specifically, a member can transfer their membership rights to a non-member or another member. A member who wishes to transfer their membership rights sends membership right transfer request information from their communication terminal to the server 10. The membership right transfer request information includes building information, membership right data, and accommodation voucher data.

[0124] Upon receiving the membership transfer request information, server 10 extracts building information and membership data from the membership transfer request information and stores the building information, membership data, and accommodation voucher data in the membership data sales database 22N in correspondence (see also Figure 1B).

[0125] Those who wish to acquire (i.e., purchase) a membership will send a request to the server 10 from their communication terminal to transmit information about the building corresponding to the membership currently for sale.

[0126] Figure 9 is a flowchart of an example of a membership sales processing program. Figure 10 shows the processing contents of the sales processing unit 14D.

[0127] The membership transfer and sale processing program starts when the communication device 18 receives a transmission request for information about the building corresponding to the membership to be sold. The sales processing unit 14D executes the membership sales processing program, thereby executing the sales processing and sales processing method.

[0128] The following explanation will use the sale of membership data AM1 for building a as an example, as shown in Figure 10.

[0129] In step 80, the sales processing unit 14D receives a transmission request information for building a information A via the communication device 18.

[0130] In step 82, the sales processing unit 14D reads information A of building a from the database 22N and transmits information A of building a to the communication terminal that made the transmission request. The communication terminal that made the transmission request displays the received building information on its display device. If the user wishes to purchase the building, the communication terminal sends a purchase request to the server 10. The communication device 18 of the server 10 receives the purchase request.

[0131] In step 84, the sales processing unit 14D receives a request to purchase a membership right, which has been received via the communication device 18.

[0132] In step 86, the sales processing unit 14D controls the communication device 18 so that the membership data AM1 and accommodation voucher data AT currently on sale are transmitted to the communication terminal that sent the request to transmit membership information.

[0133] In step 88, the sales processing unit 14D changes the member information AP1 corresponding to the membership data AM1 to be sold to the purchaser information APx.

[0134] In step 90, the sales processing unit 14D deletes the purchased membership data AM1 and accommodation voucher data AT1 from the sales database 22N.

[0135] In this way, the communication terminal that requested the transmission of information about the building currently for sale receives data on the membership right and accommodation voucher data for sale, and the membership information of the member (old member) corresponding to the membership right being sold is changed to the information of the purchaser (new member). Thus, the member is changed from an old member to a new member. Accommodation voucher data is transmitted to the new member's communication terminal every year, and the new member can use the accommodation voucher data to make reservations for accommodation at the building. Furthermore, the sale (transfer) of membership rights stimulates the resale market and improves the flexibility of using the building.

[0136] Membership rights may be made available for sale, for example, three years after the date of membership. Three years is just an example; it could be one year, 18 months, two years, four years, etc., and membership rights may also be available for sale from the moment of membership.

[0137] (Transfer of Accommodation Vouchers) In this embodiment, a member can transfer their accommodation voucher to a non-member or another member. A member who wishes to transfer their accommodation voucher sends accommodation voucher transfer request information from their communication terminal to the server 10. The accommodation voucher transfer request information includes building information and accommodation voucher data.

[0138] Server 10, upon receiving the accommodation voucher transfer request information, extracts building information and accommodation voucher data from the information and stores the building information and accommodation voucher data in the accommodation voucher data sales database 22M in correspondence (see also Figure 1B).

[0139] Those who wish to receive (i.e., purchase) accommodation vouchers send a request to the server 10 from their communication terminal to transmit information about the building corresponding to the accommodation voucher currently on sale.

[0140] Figure 11 is a flowchart of an example of a program for processing the sale of accommodation vouchers. Figure 12 shows the processing contents of the sales processing unit 14D.

[0141] The accommodation voucher sales processing program starts when the communication device 18 receives a request to transmit information about the building corresponding to the accommodation voucher to be sold. The sales processing unit 14D executes the accommodation voucher sales processing program, thereby executing the accommodation voucher sales process and the accommodation voucher sales processing method.

[0142] The following explanation will take the sale of accommodation voucher data BT1 for building b as an example, as shown in Figure 11.

[0143] In step 80, the sales processing unit 14D receives a transmission request information for building b information B via the communication device 18.

[0144] In step 82, the sales processing unit 14D reads information B for building b from the database 22M currently on sale and transmits information B for building b to the communication terminal that made the transmission request. The communication terminal that made the transmission request displays the received building information on its display device. If the user wishes to purchase, the communication terminal sends a purchase request to the server 10. The communication device 18 of the server 10 receives the purchase request. The purchase request includes information of the person who wishes to receive (i.e., purchase) the accommodation voucher (for example, address, name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, etc.) and data on the purchase price.

[0145] In step 84M, the sales processing unit 14D receives a request to purchase a lodging voucher via the communication device 18.

[0146] In step 86M, the sales processing unit 14D controls the communication device 18 so that the accommodation voucher data BT1 currently on sale is transmitted to the communication terminal that sent the request to transmit the accommodation voucher information.

[0147] In step 88M, the sales processing unit 14D stores the accommodation voucher purchaser information h2 in the accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U, which corresponds to the accommodation voucher data BT1 to be sold. The accommodation voucher purchaser information h2 includes information about the person who wishes to receive (i.e., purchase) the accommodation voucher (for example, address, name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, etc.). The accommodation voucher purchaser information h2 also includes data on the purchase price. This makes it possible to manage the transfer history of accommodation vouchers.

[0148] In step 90M, the sales processing unit 14D deletes the information B for building b and the purchased accommodation voucher data BT1 from the sales database 22M.

[0149] In this way, the accommodation voucher data BT1, which is currently for sale, is transmitted to the communication terminal of the person who wishes to receive (i.e., purchase) the accommodation voucher. Therefore, the recipient of the accommodation voucher can make a reservation for accommodation at the building via their own communication terminal. Furthermore, the accommodation voucher becomes transferable, enabling flexible use of the building.

[0150] (Refund of the purchase price of accommodation vouchers) In this embodiment, if there are any unused accommodation vouchers that were purchased each year but remain unused after 12:00 p.m. on December 31st, the purchase price of those accommodation vouchers will be refunded to the member who possesses the unused vouchers.

[0151] Figure 13 is a flowchart of an example of a program for processing refunds for the purchase price of accommodation vouchers. Figure 14 is a diagram showing the details of the refund process for accommodation vouchers by the sales processing unit 14D. The program for processing refunds for accommodation vouchers starts after 12:00 PM on December 31st. When the sales processing unit 14D executes the program for processing refunds for accommodation vouchers, the refund process and the method for processing refunds for accommodation vouchers are executed. The program for processing refunds for accommodation vouchers is executed for each building.

[0152] In step 102, the sales processing unit 14D determines whether a lodging voucher has been purchased by checking whether the lodging voucher purchaser information is stored in the lodging voucher purchaser database 22U. If it is determined that a lodging voucher has been purchased, the process of refunding the purchase price of the lodging voucher proceeds to step 104. If it is not determined that a lodging voucher has been purchased, the process of refunding the purchase price of the lodging voucher ends.

[0153] In step 104, the sales processing unit 14D determines whether there are any unused accommodation vouchers by checking whether there are any areas in the accommodation reservation date database 22T where no accommodation reservation date is stored. If it is determined that there are unused accommodation vouchers, the process of refunding the purchase price of the accommodation vouchers proceeds to step 106. If it is not determined that there are any unused accommodation vouchers, the process of refunding the purchase price of the accommodation vouchers ends.

[0154] In step 106, the sales processing unit 14D calculates the total purchase price from the purchase price data in the information of each accommodation voucher purchaser stored in the accommodation voucher purchaser database 22U.

[0155] In step 108, the sales processing unit 14D calculates the amount to be refunded to members who have unused accommodation vouchers using the following formula: Amount to be refunded to members = (Total purchase price / Number of unused accommodation vouchers) * (Number of unused accommodation vouchers held by the member) * α

[0156] For example, suppose 100 accommodation vouchers are purchased for a total of 1 million yen, and there are 160 unused accommodation vouchers. The members who possess unused accommodation vouchers are A, B, and C, and the number of unused accommodation vouchers each possess is 50, 50, and 60, respectively. α is the management company's commission, for example, 0.7. In this case, the refund amounts for A, B, and C are as follows:

[0157] A refund amount for Party A = ((1,000,000 yen / 160) * 50 units * 0.7 = 218,750 yen A refund amount for Party B = ((1,000,000 yen / 160) * 50 units * 0.7 = 218,750 yen A refund amount for Party C = ((1,000,000 yen / 160) * 60 units * 0.7 = 262,500 yen

[0158] In step 110, the sales processing unit 14D controls the communication device 18 to transmit data on the amount of the refund to members who have unused accommodation vouchers. Once the processing in step 110 is complete, the refund process for the purchase price of the accommodation vouchers is finished.

[0159] In this embodiment, if accommodation vouchers have been purchased each year but remain unused after 12:00 PM on December 31st, the purchase price of those unused vouchers can be refunded to the member who possesses them. This system, which provides a partial refund even if the vouchers are not used, allows members to purchase membership vouchers with confidence.

[0160] (Effects) As described above, in this embodiment, data for accommodation vouchers for staying in a building and membership rights, which are granted periodically, are stored in the storage device 22 in correspondence with the building's information, and the membership rights and accommodation voucher data are transmitted to the member's communication terminal. In this way, if a user has membership rights data, they will be granted accommodation vouchers for the building every year. Therefore, the inconvenience for the user when continuously using the building can be reduced compared to the conventional technology.

[0161] (Notable Buildings) As described above, the target of this embodiment is buildings. In particular, buildings that are historically or culturally recognized as notable buildings. More specifically, this includes buildings that are registered as tangible registered cultural properties. As described above, up to 365 people can become members for each notable building. Therefore, many people can stay in each notable building.

[0162] (Owner Experience) Members can use accommodation voucher data corresponding to the number of membership data they possess; that is, they can stay at famous architectural sites for the number of accommodation voucher data they have. Members will feel like they are owners of famous architectural sites. In other words, members can experience being an owner of the famous architectural site. Accommodation voucher data can be transferred to others (i.e., non-members or other members). Therefore, profits can be made by selling accommodation voucher data. Membership may also be given the legal character of a share of ownership. In other words, members may be given the legal character of jointly owning famous architectural sites.

[0163] (Social Value) Membership is open to people interested in culture, not just those who live in areas where famous architectural works exist. This allows people who do not live in the area to become part of the "related population" who visit the area, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the region and the development of the local area.

[0164] As stated above, the applications of the technology disclosed herein are not limited to buildings that are historically or culturally recognized as masterpieces, such as those registered as tangible cultural properties, but may also include ordinary buildings.

[0165] [Modifications] Next, various modifications of the above embodiment will be described. Since each modification is substantially the same as the above embodiment, the differences will be described mainly.

[0166] In the above embodiment, a building is used as an example of the object to which the technology is applied, but the technology disclosed herein is not limited to this.

[0167] For example, it could be each of several rooms within a single building. In this case, membership rights and accommodation vouchers would be issued on a room-by-room basis.

[0168] The objects of use may, firstly, be other tangible physical objects such as golf courses, facilities, vehicles (e.g., bicycles, automobiles, motorcycles, scooters, etc.), and flying objects (e.g., drones, etc.). For example, multiple memberships may be issued for the same golf course, and at least one usage voucher may be issued for each membership, for example, 365 vouchers. Members may use the usage vouchers to reserve a golf course, and may transfer the usage vouchers to others, who may then use those vouchers to reserve a golf course.

[0169] Secondly, the objects of use may also include, for example, virtual spaces such as the metaverse, visual digital spaces for web conferencing, and text-based non-visual digital spaces for communication with ChatGPT, etc. These spaces are artificial spaces constructed using computer technology, distinct from real physical objects.

[0170] Specifically, multiple memberships will be issued for a virtual space such as the metaverse, and at least one usage ticket will be issued for each membership, for example, 365 tickets in total. Members may use the usage ticket to access the virtual space, and may also transfer the usage ticket to another person, who may then use the ticket to access the virtual space.

[0171] Multiple memberships are issued for a visual digital space such as a web conference, and at least one usage ticket is issued for each membership. For example, a corporation purchases a membership, and the corporate member transfers the usage ticket to multiple employees, who then use the ticket to conduct a web conference in the visual digital space.

[0172] In the above embodiment, an example was given in which the information processing program is stored in the storage device 22, but the technology of this disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the information processing program may be stored in a portable non-temporary storage medium such as an SSD or USB memory. The information processing program stored in the non-temporary storage medium is installed in the storage device 22 of the server 10. The processor 14 executes information processing according to the information processing program.

[0173] Alternatively, the information processing program may be stored in a storage device of another computer or server device connected to the server 10 via the network, and the information processing program may be downloaded and installed in the storage device 22 in response to a request from the server 10.

[0174] Furthermore, it is not necessary to store the entire information processing program in the storage device of another computer or server device connected to server 10, or in storage device 22; it is acceptable to store only a portion of the information processing program.

[0175] Furthermore, although the server 10 has a built-in storage device 22, the technology of this disclosure is not limited to this, and for example, the storage device 22 may be provided outside the server 10.

[0176] In the above embodiment, a processor 14 is exemplified, but the technology of this disclosure is not limited thereto, and devices including ASICs, FPGAs, and / or PLDs may be used instead of the processor 14. Alternatively, a combination of hardware and software configurations may be used instead of the processor 14.

[0177] The hardware resources used to perform the information processing described in the above embodiments include the following types of processors. Examples of processors include a CPU, which is a general-purpose processor that functions as a hardware resource for performing information processing by executing software, i.e., a program. Other examples of processors include dedicated electrical circuits, which are processors with circuit configurations specifically designed to perform particular processing, such as FPGAs, PLDs, or ASICs. Each processor has built-in or connected memory, and each processor performs information processing by using this memory.

[0178] The hardware resources that perform information processing may consist of one of these various processors, or a combination of two or more processors of the same or different types (for example, a combination of multiple FPGAs, or a combination of a CPU and an FPGA). Alternatively, the hardware resources that perform information processing may consist of a single processor.

[0179] Examples of configurations using a single processor include, firstly, a configuration in which one or more CPUs and software are combined to form a single processor, and this processor functions as a hardware resource that performs information processing. Secondly, there is a configuration using a processor that realizes the functions of the entire system, including multiple hardware resources that perform information processing, on a single IC chip, as exemplified by SoCs. In this way, information processing is realized using one or more of the above types of processors as hardware resources.

[0180] Furthermore, the hardware structure of these various processors can more specifically utilize electrical circuits that combine circuit elements such as semiconductor devices. Also, the above information processing is merely an example. Therefore, it goes without saying that unnecessary steps can be deleted, new steps added, or the processing order rearranged, as long as it does not deviate from the main purpose.

[0181] The descriptions and illustrations presented above are detailed explanations of the technical aspects of this disclosure and are merely examples of the technical aspects. For example, the above descriptions of the structure, function, operation, and effect are examples of the structure, function, operation, and effect of the technical aspects of this disclosure. Therefore, it goes without saying that you may delete unnecessary parts, add new elements, or replace elements in the descriptions and illustrations presented above, as long as you do not deviate from the essence of the technical aspects of this disclosure. Furthermore, in order to avoid confusion and facilitate understanding of the technical aspects of this disclosure, explanations of common technical knowledge and the like that do not require special explanation to enable the implementation of the technical aspects of this disclosure have been omitted from the descriptions and illustrations presented above.
