Description

Transformable bag using an integrated loop strap

[0001] The present invention relates to a technology concerning the structure and conversion technique of a bag, and more specifically, to a bag that can be converted into various forms with only a single strap and simple operation.

[0002] Existing convertible bags have been developed with the aim of providing users with the convenience of being able to convert into various forms, but there were various limitations in actual use.

[0003] For example, the most common method involved attaching multiple straps to a bag or detaching a portion of the strap and securing it in a different location. This required separate operating mechanisms such as snap buttons, clips, buckles, and knots, and these components also had the problem of being damaged or having their fastening strength weaken over time.

[0004] Bags of this type require the use of both hands to transform into the desired form and demand repetitive operations. In particular, the process of adjusting the strap length and re-secured in the appropriate position was not merely cumbersome but could also hinder practical use depending on external environments or situations. Furthermore, the transformation may not be easy for the user until they have fully mastered the usage method.

[0005] Accordingly, there is a recent need for a demand for convertible bags that utilize a more intuitive and simple design to maximize the user experience. Specifically, there is a requirement for a structure that allows for seamless transitions into various forms using only a single integrated strap without the need for separate components; furthermore, a design where the conversion process is completed in a single motion without complex operations is considered desirable. In response to this need, this invention proposes a convertible bag that resolves existing inconveniences while simultaneously ensuring practicality and durability.

[0006] Conventional bags are manufactured in a fixed form depending on their purpose, or even if some modifications are possible, they require separate operations (such as adjusting buckles or attaching / detaching straps), which limits user convenience.

[0007] In particular, existing multi-purpose bags require unfastening or reconnecting straps during the conversion process, which is cumbersome and makes quick switching difficult.

[0008] In addition, some bags have an unstable shape even after deformation, making it difficult to maintain a specific structure desired by the user.

[0009] A bag according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a strap formed in the shape of a single loop; a strap adjustment part for adjusting the length of the strap; and a bag body formed of a front, a rear, and a side of the bag; wherein a plurality of guide slots are formed in the front and rear of the bag, respectively, and the strap passes sequentially through the guide slots, and is configured to be convertible into at least one of a briefcase, a tote bag, a cross bag, or a backpack depending on the length adjustment of the strap. A deformable bag having an integrated loop strap can be provided.

[0010] Additionally, the upper part of the bag body further includes a handle portion; the handle portion may be formed to extend in a direction penetrating the front and rear of the bag body, or to be integrally formed in the body in the form of a hole or groove so that a user can grasp it with their hand.

[0011] In addition, a first guide slot, a second guide slot, a third guide slot, and a fourth guide slot are formed on the front of the bag body, and a fifth guide slot, a sixth guide slot, a seventh guide slot, and an eighth guide slot are formed on the rear of the bag body, and each guide slot is composed of an outer slot and an inner slot, and the guide slots on the front and rear are arranged in corresponding positions so that the strap can circulate continuously.

[0012] In addition, a first guide slot, a second guide slot, a third guide slot, and a fourth guide slot are formed on the front of the bag body, and a fifth guide slot, a sixth guide slot, a seventh guide slot, and an eighth guide slot are formed on the rear of the bag body, wherein the plurality of guide slots are composed of an outer slot and an inner slot, and the guide slots on the front and rear are arranged in corresponding positions so that the strap can circulate continuously.

[0013] Additionally, the third guide slot and the fourth guide slot are positioned at the upper front portion of the bag body and are formed to be located on the left and right sides of the handle portion, respectively, and the seventh guide slot and the eighth guide slot are positioned at the upper rear portion of the bag body and are formed at a position symmetrical to the handle portion, respectively, and the first guide slot, the second guide slot, the third guide slot, and the fourth guide slot are sequentially positioned on the front of the bag body in a counterclockwise direction, and the fifth guide slot, the sixth guide slot, the seventh guide slot, and the eighth guide slot may be sequentially positioned on the rear of the bag body in a counterclockwise direction.

[0014] Additionally, the strap may have an integrated loop strap characterized by starting from the outside of the first guide slot, sequentially passing through the front and rear guide slots, and returning to the inside of the first guide slot to form a single loop.

[0015] In addition, the strap may be characterized by sequentially passing through the first guide slot, the fourth guide slot, the third guide slot, the second guide slot, the fifth guide slot, the eighth guide slot, the seventh guide slot, and the sixth guide slot.

[0016] In addition, the strap adjustment part can adjust the strap lengths between the second guide slot and the third guide slot, and between the sixth guide slot and the seventh guide slot, to be equal to each other.

[0017] In addition, the strap adjustment part can make the strap length between the second guide slot and the third guide slot relatively long, and the strap length between the sixth guide slot and the seventh guide slot short.

[0018] In addition, the strap adjustment unit can adjust the strap length between the first guide slot and the fourth guide slot and the strap length between the second guide slot and the third guide slot to be equally long.

[0019] This utility model utilizes a single continuous strap to easily change the shape of the bag according to the user's needs.

[0020] Specifically, it offers a one-step transformation function that allows users to change the shape simply by holding and moving the bag, without the need to separately manipulate or attach / detach straps. This resolves the inconveniences of existing convertible bags and enables fast and intuitive use.

[0021] In addition, structural stability is maintained by applying a continuous loop strap system designed to allow a single, unbroken strap to circulate throughout the bag. As a result, the strap does not loosen or come off even when the bag is deformed, and the bag maintains its shape during use.

[0022] In addition, it ensures that the bag's shape remains intact and stably maintains its transformed state. In particular, the handle is detachable, allowing it to be applied according to the user's needs and conveniently utilized in briefcase mode.

[0023] In addition, by adopting a double structure separated into an outer section and an inner pouch, the internal storage space can be utilized more flexibly while maintaining the basic shape of the bag.

It should be noted that the same components in the drawings are indicated by the same reference numerals wherever possible.

[0052] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings attached to this specification.

[0053] FIG. 1 shows a front perspective view of a bag (1) according to an embodiment of the present utility model. The bag includes a handle portion (200), a strap adjustment portion (300-1, 300-2), and a plurality of guide slots.

[0054] The handle portion (200) can be formed on the front and back of the bag and may have a bar shape connecting the front and back to make it easy for a person to carry. The bar shape can be attached and detached using a fixing means such as a magnet, and may also serve to fix the shape of the bag as needed.

[0055] The strap adjustment part (300-1, 300-2) facilitates deformation of the bag by adjusting the length and position of the strap.

[0056] There are four guide slots on the front of the bag, which allow for the smooth movement of the strap. The first guide slot (100) consists of an outer first guide slot (100-1) and an inner first guide slot (100-2), and the second guide slot (110) consists of an outer second guide slot (110-1) and an inner second guide slot (110-2). Similarly, the third guide slot (120) is formed by an outer third guide slot (120-1) and an inner third guide slot (120-2), and the fourth guide slot (130) is formed by an outer fourth guide slot (130-1) and an inner fourth guide slot (130-2).

[0057] Additionally, side portions (400) are formed on both sides of the bag, which serve to maintain the overall three-dimensional structure of the bag and stably protect the internal storage space. The side portions (400) are part of the outer portion (A) and can perform the function of connecting or reinforcing the inner pouch and the outer structure, and depending on the embodiment, they may be omitted or replaced with a flexible material.

[0058] Here, the outer part (A) refers to a bag consisting of a front, a rear, and a side.

[0059] FIG. 2 shows a rear perspective view of a bag (1) according to an embodiment of the present utility model. There are four guide slots on the rear of the bag that correspond to the front of the bag. The fifth guide slot (140) is composed of an outer fifth guide slot (140-1) and an inner fifth guide slot (140-2), and the sixth guide slot (150) is composed of an outer sixth guide slot (150-1) and an inner sixth guide slot (150-2). Additionally, the seventh guide slot (160) is formed of an outer seventh guide slot (160-1) and an inner seventh guide slot (160-2), and the eighth guide slot (170) is formed of an outer eighth guide slot (170-1) and an inner eighth guide slot (170-2).

[0060] Accordingly, the front and rear portions of the bag may each be formed with four slots arranged symmetrically. Specifically, the first guide slot (100) may be formed at a position symmetrical to the sixth guide slot (150), the second guide slot (110) may be formed at a position symmetrical to the fifth guide slot (140), the third guide slot (120) may be formed at a position symmetrical to the eighth guide slot (170), and the fourth guide slot (130) may be formed at a position symmetrical to the seventh guide slot (160).

[0061] FIG. 3 shows a front perspective view with the strap and side of the bag removed. Through this, it can be clearly seen that each guide slot is positioned in a symmetrical position relative to one another.

[0062] FIGS. 4 to 6 are drawings illustrating a structure in which the straps of a bag are connected in the form of a single continuous loop. The straps pass through guide slots in a specific order and change the shape of the bag. First, the strap starts at the first guide slot (100-1), moves to the fourth guide slot (130-1), then comes out through the inner slot (130-2), and moves to the third guide slot (120-2). It comes out through the third guide slot (120-1), moves again to the second guide slot (110-1), and then enters the inner slot (110-2).

[0063] Looking at FIG. 5, it can be seen that the strap moves from the second guide slot (110-2) to the fifth guide slot (140-2). FIG. 6 shows the process of the strap coming out through the fifth guide slot (140-1) and then moving again to the third guide slot (120-1). The strap moves from the third guide slot (120-2) to the seventh guide slot (160-2), and then comes out through the outer slot (160-1) and moves to the sixth guide slot (150-1).

[0064] Again, it is connected from the inner side (150-2) of the 6th guide slot to the 1st guide slot (100-2). Thus, it can be confirmed that the strap is structured to circulate through a total of 8 guide slots and be connected as one loop.

[0065] FIG. 7 is a front perspective view of a bag according to an embodiment of the present utility model, showing a form including an outer part of the bag and an inner pouch (500) made of a soft material. The inner pouch is fixed to the outer part and may be detachable as needed. In the case of the pouch form, the side part shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 does not necessarily have to be included.

[0066] FIG. 7 illustrates an example in which a bag according to the present embodiment can be used in various forms.

[0067] In the first embodiment, when the handle portion (200) of the bag is lifted for use, it is in the form of a briefcase, and while the strap circulates through the guide slots (100-170), the handle portion (200) at the top of the bag is fixed with a magnet or the like to maintain the overall structure firmly.

[0068] The handle portion (200) at the top of the bag may also include a bar shape.

[0069] In the second embodiment, when used as a tote bag, one side of the strap is adjusted to provide slack in the strap section at the top of the bag, and the length of the strap between the second guide slot (110-1) and the third guide slot (120-1) and the length of the strap between the sixth guide slot (150-1) and the seventh guide slot (160-1) are maintained equal, so that the length can be adjusted to a length suitable for the user to carry by hand or over the shoulder. The length of the strap can be shortened through the strap adjustment part (300-1, 300-2) to be used in a form that is comfortable to carry by hand.

[0070] In the third embodiment, when used as a crossbody bag, the strap length between the second guide slot (110-1) and the third guide slot (120-1) is extended, and the strap length between the sixth guide slot (150-1) and the seventh guide slot (160-1) is shortened, thereby adjusting it into a crossbody bag shape that can be worn diagonally by the user. Conversely, the strap length between the second guide slot (110-1) and the third guide slot (120-1) is shortened, and the strap length between the sixth guide slot (150-1) and the seventh guide slot (160-1) is extended, thereby adjusting it into a crossbody bag shape.

[0071] Finally, in the fourth embodiment, when used in the form of a backpack, the strap length between the first guide slot and the fourth guide slot and the strap length between the second guide slot and the third guide slot may be extended to an equal length in a balanced manner through respective strap adjustment parts to be used in the form of a backpack.

[0072] In this way, since the strap length can be adjusted in various ways depending on the situation through the strap adjustment part, the user can intuitively and conveniently switch between multiple bag forms using only a single strap.
