Abstract
A pH sensor (200) includes a sensor body (202), a pH electrode (210) and a reference electrode (220). The pH electrode (210) is disposed within the sensor body (202) and is configured to be exposed to a liquid. The reference electrode (220) has an electrolyte (218) therein and includes a reference junction (208) in contact with the electrolyte (218) and configured to contact the liquid. The reference junction (208) is shaped as a ring and formed of a gamma-sterilizable material.
