Abstract
Description
Multifunctional pen cleaner and methods for cleaning pens Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to painting tool technology, and more particularly to a multifunctional brush washer. Furthermore, this invention relates to a method for cleaning brushes using such a multifunctional brush washer. Background Technology
[0002] Calligraphy and painting are traditional Chinese arts. As the country attaches more and more importance to traditional culture, Chinese studies have become an important part of my country's education system. As a result, more and more people, especially young people, are joining the ranks of practicing calligraphy and painting. The tools for calligraphy and painting are an indispensable part. The cleaning of calligraphy and painting tools, such as brushes and flat brushes, is mainly done by rinsing them in a brush washing basin.
[0003] Currently, most brush washers are simply water buckets, using the same bucket to wash different colors and types of brushes. During painting, the brushes are washed very frequently, quickly causing the water in the washer to become murky, resulting in poor washing quality. After washing, paint residue floating in the water can easily remain on the brushes, causing paint mixing and affecting the painting effect. Furthermore, brush washers on the market also suffer from limited functionality, the water tank being easily contaminated by wastewater backflow, and the washing process being excessively wasteful. Summary of the Invention
[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional pen cleaner and a method for cleaning pens using such a multifunctional pen cleaner, which at least partially overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
[0005] This objective is achieved by a multi-functional pen washer comprising a rinsing platform, a water tank lid, and a water tank with a wastewater containing space. The water tank lid is releasably mounted on the water tank, and the rinsing platform is supported on the water tank lid in a manner that allows it to swing about a pivot axis. The water tank lid has a first notch through which the wastewater containing space can be accessed, and the rinsing platform is shaped to fit into the first notch. When the rinsing platform is assembled with the water tank lid, the rinsing platform covers a portion of the first notch, thereby restricting access to the opening. The rinsing platform has a vertically extending connecting section with a closed peripheral wall and a vertically penetrating orifice. This orifice is closed on the side facing the water tank lid during installation and open on the side facing away from the water tank lid. The connecting section can... The open side of the orifice is connected to a container for holding clean water. The rinsing platform has a channel section extending transversely to and connected to the peripheral wall of the connecting section. The channel section is formed by a base plate and side walls extending vertically on both sides of the base plate and includes a water storage channel connected to the peripheral wall and a rinsing channel immediately following the water storage channel. A water-blocking platform is constructed on the base plate of the channel section between the water storage channel and the rinsing channel. In the connection area between the water storage channel and the connecting section, the connecting section is constructed with an outlet and an air inlet. The orifice of the connecting section communicates with the water storage channel via the outlet. An exit is constructed on the base plate of the rinsing channel at the end of the rinsing channel away from the water storage channel. The exit communicates with a wastewater holding space. The rinsing platform is equipped with a push button, which allows the rinsing platform to swing about a swing axis, thereby lifting the connecting section upward.
[0006] In this invention, when cleaning a pen (e.g., a calligraphy brush or paintbrush), the pen is first initially cleaned (i.e., coarsely cleaned) with wastewater stored in the wastewater container of the water tank during a previous cleaning process to remove most of the ink or pigment. After the coarse clean, pressing the button on the rinsing platform tilts the platform, allowing clean water to enter the water storage channel through the outlet of the connecting section. Once the water level in the water storage channel exceeds the water-blocking platform, the clean water flows over the water-blocking platform into the rinsing channel, where the pen is continuously rinsed (i.e., washed) by the flowing clean water. The water produced after rinsing flows into the wastewater container of the water tank through the exit of the rinsing channel under gravity. Due to the presence of the water-blocking platform and the tilted rinsing platform, wastewater during the rinsing process will not flow back into the water storage channel or even the connecting section, thus preventing contamination of the clean water. This multifunctional pen washer significantly improves water utilization and cleaning efficiency, solving the problem of decreased cleaning effect and easy color bleeding in pens as more ink or pigment dissolves in the water during use.
[0007] According to a preferred embodiment, the container for holding clean water can be a commercially available plastic beverage bottle.
[0008] In addition to water, other feasible cleaning agents can also be used in this invention, such as pigment-specific cleaning agents.
[0009] According to a preferred embodiment, a brushing texture is formed on the surface of the base plate of the rinsing channel. This brushing texture is formed by a plurality of protrusions arranged on the surface of the base plate of the rinsing channel, which form a meandering path for water flow. In this invention, a pen is rubbed against the brushing texture during rinsing to increase the cleaning effect. Furthermore, by allowing water to flow along the meandering path in the rinsing channel, the residence time of water in the rinsing channel can be increased, thereby improving water utilization.
[0010] According to a preferred embodiment, the water-blocking platform is configured to have at least one overflow outlet. Advantageously, overflow outlets are provided on both sides of the top of the water-blocking platform. The overflow outlets allow for better control of the flow pattern and flow rate of water entering the rinsing channel from the water storage channel, preventing excessive water from flowing into the rinsing channel at one time and preventing water from flowing directly to the vicinity of the outlet after passing the water-blocking platform or even flowing out of the rinsing platform and onto the outside of the multi-functional pen washer.
[0011] According to a preferred embodiment, the push button is connected via a connecting platform to one of the side walls of the rinsing channel at the end of the rinsing channel away from the water reservoir. This makes it easier to operate the push button and to swing the rinsing platform. Furthermore, it allows the pen-holding hand to rest on the pen washer when pressing the push button.
[0012] According to a preferred embodiment, a water-blocking valve is provided in the area of the water outlet. The water-blocking valve is rotatably supported in a water-blocking valve mounting groove constructed in the side walls of the water storage channel by means of a water-blocking valve rotating shaft. The water-blocking valve includes a blocking section for blocking the water outlet and a toggle section extending laterally to the blocking section.
[0013] In one advantageous embodiment, the rotating shaft of the water-stop valve is constructed as a damped rotating shaft, thereby allowing the water-stop valve to remain stably in a selected rotational position. The flow rate of water through the outlet can be appropriately altered by changing the rotational position of the water-stop valve.
[0014] In this invention, after the water is used up, the container holding the water needs to be removed from the rinsing station to be refilled. Advantageously, to facilitate connection of the water container to the rinsing station, the rinsing station needs to be removed from the multi-functional pen washer. Then, the rinsing station with the container is assembled with the water tank lid. The water-blocking valve needs to be closed during the connection of the container and the rinsing station to block the outlet and prevent water from flowing out. After the rinsing station with the container is assembled with the water tank lid and before the first rinse, the water-blocking valve needs to be opened to allow water to flow out through the outlet into the water storage channel. After rinsing is completed and the rinsing station is returned to its original position, the water-blocking valve can remain open until it needs to be reconnected to the rinsing station. Therefore, after the rinsing platform returns to its original position, a small amount of clean water can continue to flow from the outlet into the storage channel until the outlet is submerged. The clean water inside the connecting section is isolated from the surrounding environment by the water in the storage channel, the air inlet cannot replenish gas, and the gas pressure in the container connected to the connecting section is lower than the external atmospheric pressure, thus preventing the clean water from continuing to flow out. Alternatively, the water-blocking valve can be closed after rinsing and only opened when rinsing is required again.
[0015] Alternatively, a container holding clean water can be directly connected to the rinsing station without removing it. In this case, the shut-off valve can remain open or even be omitted.
[0016] In an advantageous improvement, the water-blocking valve is configured with a first protrusion and a second protrusion on the surface of the blocking section facing the connecting section. These first and second protrusions can extend into the air inlet and water outlet, respectively, when the water-blocking valve is closed. Preferably, the first and second protrusions extend into the air inlet and water outlet in a form-fitting manner. This improves the water-blocking efficiency when the water-blocking valve is closed and thus reduces the amount of water flowing out during the connection between the container and the rinsing station.
[0017] According to a preferred embodiment, the flushing station has a supporting rotating rod that is supported in a support portion of the water tank cover, and the axis of the supporting rotating rod forms the swing axis. Advantageously, the supporting rotating rod is arranged near the water-blocking platform on the bottom side of the flushing station so that when the flushing station swings, at least a portion of the connecting section and the water storage channel swings upward to raise it, while the flushing channel swings downward. Furthermore, the distance between the supporting rotating rod and the connecting section in the longitudinal direction of the channel section is selected to avoid excessive raising of the connecting section.
[0018] According to a preferred embodiment, the support portion is configured as a first groove and a second groove in the upper surface of the cover plate of the water tank cover, the first groove and the second groove being arranged to be spaced apart from each other and aligned with each other.
[0019] According to a preferred embodiment, the water tank cover has a support platform in the region of the first notch to additionally support the rinsing platform in the region of the connecting section. Supporting the connecting section and the water-containing container connected thereto by the support platform prevents the rinsing platform from deflecting within the connecting section. Furthermore, the support platform serves as a stop when the rinsing platform swings back.
[0020] According to a preferred embodiment, a first squeegee is constructed at the rinsing station and / or a second squeegee is constructed at the water tank cover, wherein the first and / or second squeegees are arranged in an area close to the opening. The first and second squeegees can be used to conveniently remove excess water from the pen after coarse washing and / or rinsing. Advantageously, the first squeegee is connected between the side wall of the rinsing channel and the connecting platform.
[0021] According to a preferred embodiment, the upper surface of the water tank lid is provided with a color mixing area and multiple pigment placement areas. This eliminates the need for a separate palette, solving the problem of forgetting to bring one.
[0022] According to a preferred embodiment, at least one color-mixing area cleaning drain is provided at the periphery of the color-mixing area to facilitate cleaning of the color-mixing area.
[0023] According to a preferred embodiment, a retaining ring extending downward from the cover plate is provided at the periphery of the water tank lid, wherein at least a portion of the retaining ring extends downward to form an anti-tilting tab. The retaining ring prevents the water tank lid from unintentionally moving after being placed in the water tank. Furthermore, the anti-tilting tab prevents the water tank lid from tilting up during use.
[0024] According to a preferred embodiment, a support platform is provided in the center of the bottom plate of the water tank to support the water tank lid.
[0025] According to a preferred embodiment, a scraping blade is provided on the bottom plate of the water tank in the area near the opening. During the coarse washing process, the cleaning effect is enhanced by scraping the scraping blade with a pen. Advantageously, the scraping blade is connected to the support platform and is preferably formed as a single piece.
[0026] According to a preferred embodiment, the water tank has a limiting member configured to restrict the swing range of the rinsing platform and stop the rinsing platform. Furthermore, the limiting member can be used to support the rinsing platform during rinsing.
[0027] According to a preferred embodiment, a pen holder is provided in the water storage tank, separated from the wastewater containing space, and the pen holder can be accessed via a second notch in the cover plate of the water tank lid.
[0028] According to a preferred embodiment, the pen holder is positioned at the corner of the water tank. This allows a portion of the water tank's sidewall to be used to form the sidewall of the pen holder, thus saving material.
[0029] According to a preferred embodiment, an anti-tilting clip is provided in the pen holder. The pen holder and the anti-tilting clip can hold the pen and prevent it from tilting up and falling out.
[0030] According to a preferred embodiment, the anti-warping clip is releasably disposed in the pen holder, wherein a retaining plate is provided in the pen holder to prevent the anti-warping clip from moving. Advantageously, the anti-warping clip is clamped between the retaining plate and the peripheral wall of the pen holder.
[0031] According to a preferred embodiment, the anti-warping pen tip includes a vertically extending base and an anti-warping baffle extending perpendicular to the base. The pen tip, when placed in the pen holder, can be held between the anti-warping baffle and the bottom of the pen holder to prevent it from warping off.
[0032] According to a preferred embodiment, an anti-warping pen tip handle is constructed at the upper end of the base of the anti-warping pen tip to facilitate operation of the anti-warping pen tip, especially to facilitate gripping the anti-warping pen tip when taking it out of the pen holder.
[0033] Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for cleaning pens using the multifunctional pen cleaner described above, the method comprising the steps of:
[0034] - By approaching the opening, the pen can be brought close to the wastewater holding space of the water tank.
[0035] - Use the wastewater in the wastewater container to roughly wash the pens.
[0036] - After the initial rinse, press the button to tilt the rinsing station.
[0037] - The pen is rinsed with flowing clean water in the rinsing channel of the rinsing station, and the wastewater generated during rinsing enters the wastewater collection space through the outlet.
[0038] -Release the button to return the rinsing station to its initial position.
[0039] This invention achieves both a pre-washing and a rinsing process by setting up separate clean and dirty areas. First, the wastewater generated during the previous washing process is fully utilized for a pre-washing of the pen. Then, during the rinsing process, clean water is consistently used to rinse the pen, eliminating backflow contamination. This improves water utilization and cleaning efficiency, and prevents color bleeding caused by repeated washing.
[0040] According to a preferred embodiment, the rinsing station is removed from the multi-functional pen washer before cleaning the pen, and then the rinsing station is connected to a container filled with clean water. The rinsing station with the container is then reassembled with the water tank lid. A water-blocking valve is provided in the area of the water outlet, and the water-blocking valve is closed to cover the water outlet when the rinsing station is connected to the container filled with clean water.
[0041] According to a preferred embodiment, if the water-blocking valve is closed, the water-blocking valve is opened before rinsing to allow clean water to flow out from the outlet.
[0042] According to a preferred embodiment, the pen is rinsed simultaneously by pressing a button with the hand holding the pen. Thus, the cleaning process can be completed using only one hand in this invention.

[0053] The technical solution of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the embodiments. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative effort are within the scope of protection of the present invention.
[0054] Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of the multifunctional pen washer according to the present invention. The multifunctional pen washer includes a rinsing platform 1, a water tank cover 2, and a water storage tank 3, wherein the water tank cover 2 and the water storage tank 3 are preferably connected by a snap-fit mechanism, and the rinsing platform 1 is supported on the water tank cover 2 in a manner that allows it to swing about a swing axis.
[0055] Figure 2 shows a schematic perspective view of the rinsing station 1 according to the invention. In this embodiment, the rinsing station 1 is generally L-shaped. The rinsing station 1 has a preferably cylindrical, vertically extending connecting section 1-13 configured with a through-hole that is closed on the side facing the water tank cover 2 and open on the side facing away from the water tank cover 2. The connecting section 1-13 has threads 1-14 on the open side of the orifice for screw engagement with a container for holding clean water (e.g., a water bottle). It is also conceivable that the connecting section 1-13 and the container for holding clean water can be shaped to interlock.
[0056] A channel section, preferably U-shaped in cross-section, extending transversely and preferably perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the orifice of the connecting section, is connected at the outer periphery of the connecting section. This channel section is formed by a base plate and sidewalls extending vertically from both sides of the base plate. The channel section has a water storage channel 1-1 extending from the outer periphery of the connecting section 1-13. In the connection area between the water storage channel 1-1 and the connecting section 1-13, the connecting section 1-13 is configured with an outlet 1-11 and an air inlet 1-12. The air inlet 1-12 is arranged above the outlet 1-11. The size of the air inlet is designed to be small, especially smaller than the size of the outlet, so that water cannot flow out from the air inlet due to water surface tension. Clean water in the connecting section 1-13 can flow into the water storage channel 1-1 through the outlet 1-11. The outlet 1-11 can be covered by a water-blocking valve 1-16 (Figure 3) to prevent water from flowing out, thus facilitating the installation of a container to hold clean water.
[0057] The channel section also includes a flushing channel 1-4, which is immediately adjacent to the water storage channel 1-1. A water-blocking platform 1-3 is constructed on the bottom plate of the channel section between the water storage channel 1-1 and the flushing channel 1-4 to separate them. Advantageously, the water-blocking platform 1-3 is configured with at least one overflow outlet 1-2 to facilitate the flow of water from the water storage channel 1-1 to the flushing channel 1-4. Preferably, overflow outlets 1-2 are provided on both sides of the top of the water-blocking platform 1-3.
[0058] As shown in Figure 2, a brushing texture 1-5 is constructed on the surface of the bottom plate of the rinsing channel 1-4. When cleaning a pen, the pen is rubbed on the brushing texture 1-5 to increase the cleaning effect. Advantageously, the brushing texture 1-5 is formed by a plurality of protrusions arranged on the bottom surface of the rinsing channel 1-4, which form a meandering path for water to flow through.
[0059] A sealing plate is constructed at the end of the flushing channel 1-4 away from the water storage channel to prevent water from flowing directly out of the flushing channel. In addition, an outlet 1-6 is constructed at the bottom plate of the flushing channel 1-4 at the end of the flushing channel 1-4 away from the water storage channel. This outlet is connected to the water storage tank 3, so that the water flowing through the flushing channel 1-4 can enter the water storage tank 3 through the outlet 1-6 and be stored therein.
[0060] In this embodiment, a connecting platform 1-7 is connected to one of the two side walls of the flushing channel 1-4, and a push button 1-8 is provided at the end of the connecting platform 1-7 away from the side wall.
[0061] As shown in Figure 2, the rinsing table 1 is equipped with a supporting rotating rod 1-10. When the pressing button 1-8 is pressed, the rinsing table 1 can swing around the swing axis of the supporting rotating rod 1-10.
[0062] In addition, a squeegee 1-9 is provided at the rinsing station 1 to facilitate the removal of excess water from the pen.
[0063] Figure 3 shows a schematic perspective view of a rinsing station with a water-blocking valve 1-16, and Figure 4 shows a schematic perspective view of one embodiment of the water-blocking valve 1-16. The water-blocking valve 1-16 is rotatably supported in a water-blocking valve mounting groove 1-15 (Figure 2) constructed in the side walls of the water storage channel 1-1 by means of a water-blocking valve rotating shaft 1-16-2. The water-blocking valve 1-16 includes a blocking section 1-16-1 for blocking the outlet 1-11 and a toggle section 1-16-3 constructed transversely to, and preferably perpendicular to, the blocking section 1-16-1, by means of which the water-blocking valve can be rotated. Advantageously, the water-blocking valve rotating shaft 1-16-2 is configured as a damped rotating shaft, thereby allowing the water-blocking valve to stably remain in any selected rotational position. By changing the rotational position of the water-blocking valve, the flow rate of water through the outlet can be appropriately changed.
[0064] Figure 5 shows another embodiment of the water-blocking valve 1-16 in a schematic perspective view. In Figure 5, a first protrusion 1-16-4 and a second protrusion 1-16-5 are constructed on the surface of the blocking section 1-16-1 of the water-blocking valve 1-16 facing the connecting section 1-13 during installation. When the water-blocking valve 1-16 is closed, the first protrusion 1-16-4 and the second protrusion 1-16-5 can extend into the air inlet 1-12 and the water outlet 1-11 respectively, particularly in a form-fitting manner, to improve the blocking efficiency of the water-blocking valve.
[0065] Figure 6 shows a schematic perspective view of a water tank cover 2 according to the invention. The water tank cover 2 includes a cover plate. The cover plate of the water tank cover 2 has a first notch through which the interior of the water tank 3 can be accessed. The rinsing platform 1 is shaped-fitted into the first notch of the water tank cover 2. A support portion is provided in the upper surface of the cover plate of the water tank cover 2 for supporting the support rotating rod 1-10 of the rinsing platform 1. In the present embodiment, the support portion is designed as a first groove 2-2 and a second groove 2-3 that are spaced apart from each other and aligned with each other. In addition, spaced apart from the upper surface of the cover plate of the water tank cover 2, a support platform 2-1 is provided in the region of the first notch for additionally supporting the rinsing platform 1, and in particular at least partially supporting the section of the rinsing platform 1 located on the side of the support rotating rod 1-10 away from the exit opening 1-6. When the flushing station 1 is assembled with the water tank cover 2, the flushing station 1 only covers a part of the first notch, thereby forming an access opening between the flushing station 1 and the water tank cover 2 (see Figure 1). In other words, the flushing station 1 and the water tank cover 2 define the boundary of the access opening, through which the interior of the water storage tank 3 can be accessed.
[0066] As shown in Figure 6, the upper surface of the cover plate of the water tank cover 2 is provided with a color mixing area 2-7 and multiple, in this example, six pigment placement areas 2-8. At least one color mixing area cleaning drain 2-6 is provided around the periphery of the color mixing area 2-7.
[0067] In addition, a squeegee 2-5 is provided at the water tank cover 2 to facilitate the removal of excess water from the pen. As shown in Figure 1, the squeegee 1-9 at the rinsing station 1 and the squeegee 2-5 at the water tank cover 2 are arranged in the area near the opening.
[0068] A limiting ring 2-9 extending downward from the cover plate is provided at the periphery of the water tank cover 2 to limit the water tank cover 2 and prevent it from moving. In addition, at least a portion of the limiting ring 2-9 extends downward to form an anti-lifting piece 2-4 to prevent the water tank cover from lifting up during use.
[0069] Figure 7 shows a schematic perspective view of the water storage tank 3 according to the invention. The water storage tank 3 is formed by a base plate and closed side walls extending vertically upward from the base plate. The water storage tank includes wastewater containing spaces 3-4, configured to store wastewater flowing in through the outlets 1-6 of the rinsing platform 1. Preferably, a support platform 3-5 is provided in the center of the base plate of the water storage tank 3 to support the tank cover 2. Furthermore, a scrubbing blade 3-6 is provided on the base plate of the water storage tank 3 in the area near the opening to enhance the cleaning effect. Advantageously, the scrubbing blade 3-6 is connected to the support platform 3-5 and is preferably formed as a single piece.
[0070] Furthermore, the water tank 3 has a limiting member 3-7. The limiting member 3-7 is configured to restrict the downward swing range of the rinsing channel 4 of the rinsing platform 1 and to stop the rinsing channel 4 when the pressing button 1-8 is pressed. In a preferred embodiment, during the rinsing process, the rinsing channel 4 is continuously swung downward against the limiting member 3-7 by continuously pressing the pressing button with a pen-holding hand until the rinsing is complete. Alternatively, a locking structure can be provided to prevent the rinsing platform from swinging back during the rinsing process.
[0071] As shown in Figure 7, a pen holder 3-1 is installed in the water storage tank 3, separated from the wastewater containing space 3-4. Advantageously, the pen holder 3-1 is located at a corner of the water storage tank 3. As shown in Figure 6, the cover plate of the water tank lid 2 has a second notch through which the pen holder 3-1 can be accessed.
[0072] Furthermore, to prevent the pen from tilting and falling out when placed in the pen holder 3-1, an anti-tilting clip 3-3 is provided in the pen holder 3-1. In an advantageous design, the anti-tilting clip 3-3 is releasably placed in the pen holder 3-1. To prevent the anti-tilting clip 3-3 from moving, a retaining piece 3-2 is provided in the pen holder 3-1. Advantageously, the anti-tilting clip 3-3 is clamped between the retaining piece 3-2 and the peripheral wall of the pen holder 3-1. Alternatively, the anti-tilting clip 3-3 is constructed as a single piece with the pen holder 3-1.
[0073] Figure 8 shows a schematic perspective view of the anti-warping pen tip 3-3. The anti-warping pen tip 3-3 includes a vertically extending base and an anti-warping baffle 3-3-1 extending perpendicularly to the base. The pen tip placed in the pen holder can be locked between the anti-warping baffle 3-3-1 and the bottom of the pen holder 3-1 to prevent it from warping off. In addition, an anti-warping pen tip handle 3-3-2 is constructed at the upper end of the base of the anti-warping pen tip 3-3 to facilitate operation of the anti-warping pen tip 3-3, especially to facilitate gripping the anti-warping pen tip when removing it from the pen holder.
[0074] The cleaning process of the present invention is described in detail below. As described above, the water flowing through the rinsing platform 1 during the previous cleaning process is treated as wastewater and flows into the wastewater holding space 3-4 of the water storage tank 3 via the outlet 1-6 and is stored therein. Therefore, when a new cleaning begins, the pen is first brought close to the wastewater holding space 3-4 of the water storage tank 3 via the approach opening. Then, the pen is initially cleaned, i.e., coarsely washed, using the wastewater in the wastewater holding space 3-4 of the water storage tank. Advantageously, the cleaning effect is enhanced by the scraping blade 3-6 during the coarse washing. Then, the rinsing platform 1 is tilted by pressing the press button 1-8, and the pen is rinsed multiple times with clean water contained in the container connected to the connecting section 1-13 of the rinsing platform 1, i.e., a so-called rinsing is performed. At the same time, the cleaning effect is enhanced by the brushing texture 1-5. Finally, the cleaning process is ended by releasing the press button 1-8.
[0075] In one advantageous embodiment, the rinsing process is as follows. If the water-blocking valve is closed before rinsing, it needs to be opened. After the water-blocking valve is opened, clean water can flow into the water storage channel 1-1 through the outlet 1-11 until the outlet 1-11 is submerged, at which point no more clean water continues to flow out. When the press button 1-8 is pressed, the rinsing platform 1 can swing about the support rotating rod 1-10, thereby tilting the rinsing platform 1 relative to the horizontal plane. The water in the water storage channel 1-1 flows downward under gravity, the outlet 1-11 re-exposes to the air, and the container connected to the connecting section 1-13 is connected to the outside. The clean water in the container flows into the water storage channel 1-1 from the outlet 1-11 under gravity. Once the water level in the water storage channel 1-1 is higher than the overflow outlet 1-2 of the water-blocking platform 1-3, the water in the water storage channel 1-1 continuously flows into the rinsing channel 1-4. In the rinsing channel 1-4, the brushes that have already been roughly washed are rinsed with clean water. The wastewater generated during rinsing flows from the outlet 1-6 into the wastewater holding space 3-4 of the water storage tank 3 under the influence of gravity. During the rinsing process, the water-blocking platform 1-3 prevents the wastewater in the rinsing channel 1-4 from flowing back into the water storage channel 1-1. After rinsing, the pressing button 1-8 is released, and the rinsing platform 1 returns to its original position under the influence of gravity. Clean water continues to flow out from the outlet 1-11 until the outlet 1-11 is submerged. The clean water inside the connecting section 1-13 is isolated from the surrounding environment by the water in the water storage channel 1-1. The air inlet 1-12 cannot replenish gas, and the gas pressure in the container connected to the connecting section 1-13 is lower than the external atmospheric pressure, thus preventing the clean water from continuing to flow out.
[0076] This invention achieves both a pre-washing and a rinsing process by setting up separate clean and dirty areas. First, the wastewater generated during the previous washing process is fully utilized for a pre-washing of the pen. Then, during the rinsing process, clean water is consistently used to clean the pen, eliminating backflow contamination.
