Abstract
Description
Test equipment Technical Field
[0001] This application relates to the field of circuit board testing technology, and more specifically to a testing device. Background Technology
[0002] With the advent of intelligent vehicles, the functional needs of car users have exploded, and the interface functions of in-vehicle components are becoming more and more flexible, with an increasing number of interfaces and corresponding signals.
[0003] To improve the integration of interfaces and wiring harnesses, they can be integrated onto a single circuit board. However, this increases the number of signals and connectors on the board, requiring external test connectors to be individually plugged into the connectors under test on the board during testing, thus increasing the testing difficulty. Summary of the Invention
[0004] In view of this, this application provides a testing device to solve the problem in the prior art that requires external test connectors to be plugged into the test connectors on the circuit board one by one, which increases the difficulty of testing.
[0005] In a first aspect, embodiments of this application provide a testing device, comprising a body and a second connector. The body has a hollow structure, and a support body is disposed within the body. A first cutout portion for a first connector on a circuit board is formed on the outer wall of the body, and the first cutout portion communicates with the space within the body. A second connector is disposed within the body and connected to the support body, and the second connector is used to insert into the first connector. Along the height direction of the testing device, the second connector is opposite to the first cutout portion, the insertion end of the second connector faces upwards from the first cutout portion, the projected area of the first cutout portion along the height direction is larger than the projected area of the insertion end of the second connector along the height direction, and the second connector does not protrude from the upper surface of the body.
[0006] In this application, since the second connector is connected to the main body, the circuit board assembly to be tested can be installed on the testing equipment during the testing process. The second connector does not need to move relative to the main body, and the wiring harness connected to the second connector also does not need to move. This ensures that the second connector and wiring harness maintain a relatively constant position during the testing process, without occupying a large testing space, making management and testing operations easier. Furthermore, when the circuit board assembly is installed on the main body, each first connector on the circuit board assembly can be inserted into its corresponding second connector at once, eliminating the need for each first connector and test connector to be inserted independently, thus effectively improving testing efficiency and simplifying operation. In addition, the second connector in this application has a corresponding and fixed position on the main body based on the position distribution of the first connectors on the circuit board assembly under test. This high positional accuracy ensures high insertion accuracy between each first connector and its corresponding test connector during testing, avoiding the problem of pin reversal caused by low insertion accuracy.
[0007] In one possible design, a guide groove is provided on the side of the main body facing away from the second connector. Along the height direction of the main body, when the circuit board assembly is installed from top to bottom, the mounting ears can be installed in the guide groove. The guide groove guides the mounting ears during installation and also limits their position after installation, thereby preventing the entire circuit board assembly from shaking.
[0008] In one possible design, the body is provided with a first positioning part. During the installation of the circuit board assembly onto the body, the fourth positioning part on the circuit board assembly can engage with the first positioning part on the body, thereby ensuring the positional accuracy of the circuit board assembly and thus ensuring high insertion accuracy between the first connector and the second connector.
[0009] In one possible design, the first positioning part is mounted on the body. The first positioning part can be a separately manufactured component; for example, it can include a positioning pin or a screw. The first positioning part can be installed on the body at a position that mates with the fourth positioning part. For example, when the first positioning part is a positioning pin, it can be threaded to the body or fastened to a corresponding hole in the body by an interference fit. The fourth positioning part can be a pin hole, which can be fitted onto the corresponding positioning pin, thereby achieving the installation and positioning of the circuit board assembly. Alternatively, the first positioning part can be integrally formed with the body, meaning that during the body manufacturing process, the first positioning part can be integrally formed at the corresponding position, thus facilitating manufacturing and saving process costs.
[0010] In one possible design, the first positioning part includes a positioning pin or screw; or, the first positioning part is an integrally formed columnar structure on the body.
[0011] In one possible design, the test equipment further includes a mounting base connected to the support body, and the second connector connected to the mounting base. The mounting base supports the second connector and allows the second connector to be mounted entirely on the support body within the main body, ensuring reliable installation of the second connector on the support body.
[0012] In one possible design, the second connector is connected to the mounting base via a first connector, and there is a gap between the first connector and the mounting base along the radial direction of the first connector. This gap can absorb the assembly tolerance when the first connector and the second connector are inserted. That is, during the insertion process, the second connector can make slight adjustments through the gap after being subjected to force, so as to ensure that the test connector and the first connector are successfully inserted, and avoid the problem of pin reversal due to interference.
[0013] In one possible design, the second connector further includes a first elastic element disposed between the second connector and the mounting base. The first elastic element allows the second connector to slide relative to the first connector. The first elastic element can be a spring or a sheet spring, and it is in its natural state when the second connector is not inserted into the first connector. During insertion, the second connector is subjected to pressure from the first connector, causing it to move along the first connector towards the mounting base, resulting in elastic compression deformation of the first elastic element. When the insertion force on the first connector is released, for example, when the first connector is removed after testing, the first elastic element returns to its original deformation, allowing the second connector to automatically return to its initial position.
[0014] In one possible design, the mounting base is connected to the body via a second connector. This second connector can be a separately machined part; for example, it can be a leveling screw, and multiple leveling screws can be present. The mounting base can have multiple second mounting holes, through which the leveling screws pass and are fixed to the body. By using multiple leveling screws to connect the mounting base and the body, it is ensured that the surface of the mounting base facing the body is perpendicular to the height direction of the body. This ensures that the orientation of the insertion end of the second connector is perpendicular to the height direction of the body, thereby guaranteeing precise insertion of the second connector into the first connector.
[0015] In one possible design, the second connector further includes two elastic elements disposed between the mounting base and the body. These second elastic elements allow the mounting base to slide relative to the second connector. The second elastic element can be a spring or a sheet spring, and is in its natural state when the second connector is not inserted into the first connector. During insertion, the second connector is subjected to pressure from the first connector, causing the mounting base to move along the second connector towards the body, resulting in elastic compression deformation of the second elastic element. When the insertion force on the first connector is released, for example, when the first connector is removed after testing, the second elastic element returns to its original deformation, allowing the entire second connector to automatically return to its initial position.
[0016] In one possible design, the test equipment further includes a crimping mechanism rotatably connected to the body, which is used to press the circuit board assembly onto the body in a crimped position, thereby enabling the first connector to maintain a reliable and effective mating state with the second connector.
[0017] In one possible design, the testing equipment further includes a positioning mechanism disposed on the main body. The positioning mechanism has a second cutout portion for accommodating the circuit board assembly, and the second cutout portion communicates with the first cutout portion. When the circuit board assembly needs to undergo both forward and reverse testing simultaneously, the lower housing can be removed, leaving the circuit board and upper housing in an assembled state. The positioning mechanism has a similar shape to the lower housing, and the connection method between the positioning mechanism, the circuit board, and the upper housing can be the same as or similar to the aforementioned connection method between the lower housing and the upper housing. This allows for the connection of the positioning mechanism, the circuit board, and the upper housing without altering the structural design of the circuit board and the upper housing. Furthermore, the connection method between the positioning mechanism and the main body is the same as or similar to the aforementioned connection method between the lower housing and the main body, allowing for the interchangeability of the positioning mechanism and the lower housing without changing the structural design of the main body.
[0018] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism includes a second positioning part, which is positioned and engaged with a first positioning part on the main body. For example, when the first positioning part is a positioning pin, the positioning pin can be threaded to the main body or fastened to a corresponding hole on the main body by an interference fit; the second positioning part can be a pin hole, which can be fitted onto the corresponding positioning pin, thereby achieving the installation and positioning of the circuit board assembly.
[0019] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism includes a protrusion disposed in a guide groove on the body. The guide groove provides guidance for the installation of the protrusion and also limits its movement, ensuring the stability of the positioning mechanism on the body.
[0020] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism further includes a third positioning part for positioning and engaging with the circuit board assembly. For example, the third positioning part can be used for positioning and engaging with the upper housing of the circuit board assembly. Optionally, the third positioning part can be a positioning hole, a positioning post, or a protruding rib. The third positioning part ensures that the circuit board assembly has high positional accuracy on the positioning mechanism, thereby ensuring high mating accuracy between the first connector and the second connector.
[0021] Secondly, this application also provides a positioning mechanism for a testing device for circuit board assemblies, wherein the positioning mechanism is mounted on the body of the testing device, and the positioning mechanism is provided with a second cutout portion for accommodating the circuit board assembly. This positioning mechanism has the same technical effect as the positioning mechanism in the first aspect, and will not be described again here.
[0022] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism includes a second positioning part, which is used to position and engage with a first positioning part on the main body. For example, when the first positioning part is a positioning pin, the positioning pin can be threaded to the main body or fastened in a corresponding hole on the main body by an interference fit; the second positioning part can be a pin hole, which can be fitted onto the corresponding positioning pin, thereby achieving the installation and positioning of the circuit board assembly.
[0023] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism further includes a third positioning part for positioning and engaging with the circuit board assembly.
[0024] In one possible design, the positioning mechanism includes a protrusion for positioning and engaging with a guide groove on the body. The guide groove provides guidance for the installation of the protrusion and also limits its movement, ensuring the stability of the positioning mechanism on the body.
[0025] It should be understood that the above general description and the following detailed description are merely exemplary and do not limit this application. Attached Figure Description

Detailed Implementation
[0053] To better understand the technical solution of this application, the embodiments of this application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0054] It should be understood that the described embodiments are merely some, not all, of the embodiments in this application. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments in this application without inventive effort are within the scope of protection of this application.
[0055] The terminology used in the embodiments of this application is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of this application. [0056] It should be understood that the term "and / or" used in this article is merely a description of the relationship between related objects, indicating that three relationships can exist. For example, A and / or B can represent: A existing alone, A and B existing simultaneously, or B existing alone. Additionally, the character " / " in this article generally indicates that the preceding and following related objects have an "or" relationship.
[0057] In the description of this application, unless otherwise expressly specified and limited, the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and should not be construed as indicating or implying relative importance; unless otherwise specified or explained, the term "multiple" refers to two or more; the terms "connected," "fixed," etc., should be interpreted broadly. For example, "connected" can be a fixed connection, a detachable connection, an integral connection, or an electrical connection; it can be a direct connection or an indirect connection through an intermediate medium. Those skilled in the art can understand the specific meaning of the above terms in this application according to the specific circumstances.
[0058] With the advent of intelligent vehicles, the functional demands of car users are exploding, leading to increasingly flexible interface functions for in-vehicle components and a growing number of interfaces and corresponding signals. For example, in-vehicle infotainment systems may simultaneously contain Controller Area Network (CAN), power, audio / video entertainment system interfaces, or radio frequency interfaces. To improve the integration of various interfaces and wiring harnesses, numerous interfaces, functions, and wiring harnesses can be integrated onto a single circuit board.
[0059] However, after integration, the number of signals and connectors on the circuit board is large, making the testing of the circuit board more difficult. Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the circuit board assembly during the testing process in one embodiment. As shown in Figure 1, the circuit board assembly includes a circuit board 11 and a first connector 12. The circuit board 11 has circuits, and the first connector 12 can be electrically connected to the corresponding circuits. The first connector 12 is used to plug into corresponding external functional devices to achieve the corresponding functions. For ease of explanation, the side of the circuit board 11 with the first connector 12 can be defined as the front side 11a, and the side of the circuit board 11 facing away from the first connector 12 can be defined as the back side 11b. In the scenario of testing the circuit board 11, an external second connector 41 is needed as an auxiliary testing tool to be plugged into the first connector 12. The second connector 41 can be electrically connected to the testing device 3, such as a testing instrument, through a wire harness 5 to perform connectivity and functional testing of the interface signals of the circuit board 11.
[0060] For example, as shown in Figure 1, during the testing of circuit board 11, circuit board 11 can be placed on stand 6, and the insertion end of the first connector 12 can be unobstructed by the stand 6 or other objects. External testing equipment may include a second connector 41, which can also be called an auxiliary connector, test connector, or tool connector. Multiple second connectors 41 are available, and the tester can insert the corresponding second connector 41 one by one into the corresponding first connector 12 on circuit board 11 to test each first connector 12. After testing, each second connector 41 needs to be removed from the first connector 12 one by one.
[0061] In this testing method, the testing efficiency is low because each second connector 41 needs to be plugged in and unplugged independently. In addition, during the manual plugging process, the second connector 41 is prone to misalignment with the first connector 12, which can cause pin reversal.
[0062] In order to facilitate the movement of the second connector 41, the second connector 41 can be connected to the test device 3 through the wire harness 5. During the insertion and removal of the second connector 41, the wire harness 5 needs to move with the second connector 41. Since there are many second connectors 41, the corresponding wire harness 5 is also complicated and requires a lot of space, which is difficult to manage and causes inconvenience in test operation.
[0063] Furthermore, to protect the circuit board 11 and facilitate its installation, a housing structure can be provided around the circuit board 11. Figure 2 is an exploded view of the circuit board assembly 1 in one embodiment. As shown in Figure 2, the housing structure includes an upper housing 13 and a lower housing 14. The upper housing 13 and the lower housing 14 can be connected and fixed by screws or other fasteners, or by snap-fit. The circuit board 11 can be disposed between the upper housing 13 and the lower housing 14. Exemplarily, the upper housing 13 can cover the front 11a of the circuit board 11, and the lower housing 14 can cover the back 11b of the circuit board 11. The upper housing 13, the lower housing 14, the circuit board 11, and the first connector 12 can constitute the circuit board assembly 1. The upper housing 13 can be provided with multiple openings 131, which can be used to expose the first connector 12 on the front 11a of the circuit board 11 for insertion with the external second connector 41. The lower housing 14 can completely cover the back 11b of the circuit board 11 to protect the circuit board 11.
[0064] Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of a circuit board assembly mounted on a test bench 6 in one embodiment. As shown in Figure 3, in the aforementioned testing method, the lower housing 14 can be supported on the test bench 6. Exemplarily, the test bench 6 is provided with a mounting groove, and at least a portion of the lower housing 14 can be embedded in the mounting groove. The external second connector 41 can be plugged into the first connector 12 at each opening 131 of the upper housing 13 for testing. However, during the testing process, since the lower housing 14 needs to be supported or positioned on the test bench 6, the lower housing 14 cannot be disassembled, making it difficult to expose the back side 11b of the circuit board 11 during the testing process. Consequently, it is impossible to simultaneously perform fault location, white-box testing, and fault injection testing using the back side 11b of the circuit board 11 during the testing of each first connector 12, resulting in low testing efficiency.
[0065] This application provides a testing device for testing circuit board assemblies, such as the circuits on circuit board 11 and the first connector 12 on circuit board 11. This circuit board assembly can be applied in numerous fields, including automotive, medical, robotics, military, aerospace, and marine industries. The circuit board assembly integrates numerous first connectors, achieving miniaturization and integration while fulfilling different functions. As described above, the circuit board assembly may include circuit board 11, upper housing 13, and lower housing 14, with the first connector 12 on circuit board 11. The mating relationships between the circuit board 11, first connector 12, upper housing 13, and lower housing 14 are as described above and will not be repeated here.
[0066] Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a testing device provided in one embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 4, the testing device includes a body 2, a testing device 3, and a second connector 41. The body 2 has a hollow structure, and the testing device 3 and the second connector 41 can be disposed inside the body 2. The body 2 serves as the supporting structure for the testing device and can be used to mount the testing device 3 and the second connector 41. The body 2 can be stably supported on the ground or a table, ensuring stable testing. The body 2 has a height direction Z, which refers to the direction perpendicular to the ground or table when the body 2 is in normal use and supported on the ground or table. The height direction Z of the body 2 is also the overall height direction of the testing device.
[0067] The testing device 3 can be a testing instrument, such as an oscilloscope or a time domain reflectometer. The testing device 3 can be fastened to the main body 2 by screws or other connectors, or it can be fixed inside the main body 2 by snap-fit or other means.
[0068] As shown in Figure 4, a support body 25 may be provided inside the main body 2. The support body 25 may be in the shape of, but is not limited to, a block or plate. The second connector 41 may be fixed to the support body 25. Exemplarily, the second connector 41 may also be fastened to the support body 25 by screws or other connectors, or by snap-fitting or other means. The second connector 41 may be electrically connected to the testing device 3 via a wire harness 5 to transmit the detected signal to the testing device 3. The wire harness 5, which is electrically connected to the second connector 41 and the testing device 3, may be located inside the main body 2. Optionally, the wire harness 5 may be fixed at a predetermined position within the main body 2, or may be constrained to a predetermined area by a corresponding structure within the main body 2.
[0069] Since the second connector 41 is connected to the support 25 inside the main body 2, the circuit board assembly to be tested can be installed on the test equipment during the test. The second connector 41 does not need to move relative to the main body 2, and the wire harness 5 connected to the second connector 41 does not need to move either. This ensures that the second connector 41 and the wire harness 5 can maintain a relatively constant position during the test, without occupying a large test space, which is convenient for management and test operation.
[0070] The body 2 has a first cutout portion 21. For example, the first cutout portion 21 can be a hole formed on the body, and the first cutout portion 21 communicates with the space inside the body 2. Along the height direction Z of the testing device, the second connector 41 is opposite to the first cutout portion 21, and the insertion end of the second connector 41 faces upward of the first cutout portion 21.
[0071] The first hollow portion 21 has a projected area along the height direction Z that is larger than the projected area of the insertion end of the second connector 41 along the height direction Z, thereby ensuring that the insertion end of the first connector 12 can pass through the first hollow portion 21 to be inserted into the second connector 41.
[0072] In this embodiment, the second connector 41 does not protrude from the upper surface of the body 2, that is, the second connector 41 is located inside the body 2, which can avoid the second connector 41 being exposed to the outside of the body 2 and being subject to problems such as bumps and contamination, and at the same time, it does not need to occupy the space outside the body 2.
[0073] Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of the circuit board assembly before installation into the test equipment provided in this embodiment. As shown in Figure 5, when the circuit board assembly 1 under test is installed into the test equipment, the side of the circuit board 11 with the first connector 12 can be oriented towards the second connector 41, so that the first connector 12 is aligned with the first cutout portion 21. Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of the circuit board assembly 1 after installation into the test equipment provided in this embodiment. As shown in Figure 6, during the installation process, the first connector 12 can be installed from above the first cutout portion 21 into the first cutout portion 21, so that the insertion end of the first connector 12 can be inserted and mated with the insertion end of the second connector 41. Multiple second connectors 41 can be provided, and each can be matched with the position of each first connector 12 on the circuit board assembly 1 under test. Therefore, when the circuit board assembly 1 is installed onto the body 2, each first connector 12 on the circuit board assembly 1 can be inserted into each corresponding second connector 41 at once, without the need for each first connector 12 and second connector 411 to be inserted independently, thereby effectively improving testing efficiency. Meanwhile, during testing, there is no need to move the second connector 41; instead, only the circuit board assembly 1 under test can be plugged into the second connector 41, thus simplifying the operation. Furthermore, the second connector 41 in this application has a corresponding and fixed position on the body 2 based on the position of the first connector 12 on the circuit board assembly 1 under test. This high positional accuracy ensures high insertion accuracy between each first connector 12 and its corresponding second connector 41 during testing, avoiding the problem of pin reversal caused by low insertion accuracy.
[0074] As explained above, the upper housing 13 of the circuit board assembly 1 can be provided with multiple openings 131 so that the insertion end of the first connector 12 can be exposed through the openings 131. As shown in Figure 6, when the circuit board assembly 1 is installed on the test equipment, since the insertion end of the first connector 12 needs to face the second connector 41, that is, the side of the circuit board assembly 1 with the upper housing 13 needs to face the second connector 41. After the circuit board assembly 1 is installed, the upper housing 13 can be accommodated in the first cutout 21, and the lower housing 14 faces the side away from the second connector 41. That is, the lower housing 14 can be exposed above the body 2 without being blocked by the body 2, so that the lower housing 14 can be removed to expose the back side 11b of the circuit board 11. Thus, during the testing of each first connector 12, fault location, white-box testing and fault injection testing can be performed simultaneously using the back side 11b of the circuit board 11, improving testing efficiency.
[0075] Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a circuit board assembly provided in an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 7, a hanging ear 141 may be provided on the lower housing 14 of the circuit board assembly 1, and the hanging ear 141 protrudes from the side of the lower housing 14.
[0076] Figure 8 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 8, a guide groove 22 can be provided on the body 2. The depth direction of the guide groove 22 can be consistent with the height direction of the body 2. The guide groove 22 has a similar shape to the hanging ear 141.
[0077] Figure 9 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of a circuit board assembly and a testing device provided in an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 9, when the circuit board assembly is installed from top to bottom along the height direction of the body 2, the hanging ear 141 can be installed in the guide groove 22. The guide groove 22 can guide the installation of the hanging ear 141 and limit the hanging ear 141 after installation, thereby preventing the circuit board assembly from shaking as a whole.
[0078] The aforementioned hanging ear 141 can be provided with one or more. When there are two or more hanging ears 141, the two or more hanging ears 141 can be provided at different positions along the circumference of the lower housing 14, thereby enabling the overall positioning of the circuit board assembly in multiple directions and ensuring the stability of the circuit board assembly after installation on the body 2.
[0079] Figure 10 is a structural schematic diagram of a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 10, a first positioning part 23 may be provided on the body 2. Figure 11 is a structural schematic diagram of a circuit board assembly provided in one embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 11, a fourth positioning part 15 may be provided on the circuit board assembly. Figure 12 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of a circuit board assembly and a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 12, during the installation of the circuit board assembly onto the body 2, the fourth positioning part 15 on the circuit board assembly can be positioned and cooperated with the first positioning part 23 on the body 2, thereby ensuring the positional accuracy of the circuit board assembly and thus ensuring a high insertion accuracy between the first connector 12 and the second connector 41.
[0080] For example, the first positioning part 23 can be a separately manufactured part, such as a positioning pin or a screw. The first positioning part 23 can be installed on the body 2 at a position that can cooperate with the fourth positioning part 15. For example, when the first positioning part 23 is a positioning pin, the positioning pin can be threaded to the body 2, or it can be fastened in the corresponding hole on the body 2 by interference fit; the fourth positioning part 15 can be a pin hole, which can be fitted onto the corresponding positioning pin, thereby realizing the installation and positioning of the circuit board assembly.
[0081] For example, the first positioning part 23 can also be integrally formed with the body 2. That is, during the manufacturing process of the body 2, the first positioning part 23 can be integrally formed at the corresponding position, thereby facilitating manufacturing and saving process costs. The first positioning part 23 can be formed into a columnar structure, which can cooperate with the corresponding hole on the circuit board assembly to achieve positioning of the circuit board assembly.
[0082] In one embodiment, the fourth positioning part 15 on the circuit board assembly can be the hole that can cooperate with the columnar first positioning part 23. The hole can be opened at a corresponding position on the upper housing 13, so that when the circuit board assembly with the upper housing 13 is installed on the body 2, it is convenient to cooperate with the first positioning part 23 on the body 2 through the hole on the upper housing 13.
[0083] In one embodiment, as shown in FIG12, the first positioning part 23 can be disposed in the guide groove 22, and the fourth positioning part 15 can be disposed on the hanging ear 141. During the installation of the hanging ear 141 into the guide groove 22, the fourth positioning part 15 on the hanging ear 141 can cooperate with the first positioning part 23 in the guide groove 22 to achieve positioning.
[0084] Figure 13 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of a circuit board assembly and a testing device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 13, a fourth positioning part 15 can be provided on both the upper housing 13 and the hanging ear 141. A first positioning part 23 can also be provided on the body 2 at the position corresponding to each fourth positioning part 15. The fitting accuracy between the fourth positioning part 15 on the hanging ear 141 and the corresponding first positioning part 23 can be lower than the fitting accuracy between the fourth positioning part 15 on the upper housing 13 and the corresponding first positioning part 23. That is, by making the fitting accuracy between the fourth positioning part 15 on the upper housing 13 and the corresponding first positioning part 23 relatively high, a higher insertion accuracy between the first connector 12 and the second connector 41 can be ensured. By making the fitting accuracy between the fourth positioning part 15 on the hanging ear 141 and the corresponding first positioning part 23 relatively low, a certain assembly tolerance can be allowed between the low-precision fitting first positioning part 23 and the fourth positioning part 15, making the assembly process simpler, reducing assembly difficulties caused by small errors, and avoiding stress concentration, thereby reducing the risk of component deformation or damage.
[0085] When testing only the first connector 12 on the front side 11a of the circuit board 11, without testing the back side 11b of the circuit board 11, it is not necessary to remove the housing 14. When installing the circuit board assembly to be tested onto the test equipment, the entire circuit board assembly can be installed onto the body 2.
[0086] Figure 14 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 14, in order to ensure that the first connector 12 can be reliably plugged into the second connector 41, a crimping mechanism 7 can be provided on the body 2. The circuit board assembly can be pressed onto the body 2 by the crimping mechanism 7 so that the first connector 12 can maintain a reliable and effective plugging state with the second connector 41.
[0087] For example, one end of the crimping mechanism 7 can be rotatably connected to the body 2, and the crimping mechanism 7 can be rotated open or closed relative to the body 2. The crimping mechanism 7 can be connected to the body 2 via a buffer device 8 such as a cylinder or hydraulic cylinder to provide damping force and prevent the crimping mechanism 7 from rotating too quickly. When only the first connector 12 needs to be tested in the circuit board assembly, the crimping mechanism 7 can be rotated to the open position, and the circuit board assembly can be installed entirely onto the body 2 without disassembling the lower housing 14.
[0088] Figure 15 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of a circuit board assembly and a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 15, after the circuit board assembly is installed on the body 2, the crimping mechanism 7 can be rotated in the opposite direction to press it onto the lower housing 14 of the circuit board assembly, so that the pressure provided by the crimping mechanism 7 can ensure that the first connector 12 and the second connector 41 maintain a reliable and effective connection.
[0089] In one embodiment, the crimping mechanism 7 can be a plate-like structure with a certain weight, which can be rotated manually or driven by a cylinder, hydraulic cylinder, or similar device. The crimping mechanism 7 can provide clamping force to the circuit board assembly using its own weight, or by using the aforementioned cylinder or hydraulic cylinder or similar device.
[0090] When performing a forward test on the first connector 12 of the front side 11a of the circuit board 11, and simultaneously performing a reverse test on the back side 11b of the circuit board 11, the lower housing 14 needs to be disassembled to expose the back side 11b of the circuit board 11. However, since the entire circuit board assembly is connected and fixed to the body 2 via the lugs 141 on the lower housing 14, it is difficult to connect and fix the circuit board assembly to the body 2 if the lower housing 14 is disassembled.
[0091] Figure 16 is a structural schematic diagram of a testing device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 16, in this embodiment, the testing device may include a positioning mechanism 9, which can be connected to the main body 2. The positioning mechanism 9 is provided with a second cutout portion 91 for accommodating the circuit board assembly, and the second cutout portion 91 communicates with the first cutout portion 21. Figure 17 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of the positioning mechanism 9 with the circuit board and the upper housing provided in an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 17, when the circuit board assembly needs to undergo the above-mentioned forward and reverse tests simultaneously, the lower housing 14 can be removed, so that the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13 remain in the assembled state. The positioning mechanism 9 and the lower housing 14 have similar shapes, and the connection method of the positioning mechanism 9, the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13 can be the same as or similar to the connection method of the lower housing 14, the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13 mentioned above. Thus, the connection of the positioning mechanism 9, the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13 can be realized without changing the structural design of the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13. Meanwhile, the connection method between the positioning mechanism 9 and the body 2 is the same as or similar to the connection method between the lower housing 14 and the body 2, so that the positioning mechanism 9 and the lower housing 14 can be interchanged without changing the structural design of the body 2.
[0092] Since the positioning mechanism 9 is provided with a second cutout 91, the second cutout 91 can prevent the back side 11b of the circuit board 11 from being covered by the positioning mechanism 9, and can be used for fault location, white box testing or fault injection testing.
[0093] Therefore, by assembling the circuit board 11 and the upper housing 13 on the positioning mechanism 9, and by installing the circuit board assembly on the body 2 through the positioning mechanism 9, it is possible to install and position the circuit board assembly as a whole on the body 2, and also to ensure that the back side 11b of the circuit board 11 is not obstructed, so that forward and reverse testing can be performed simultaneously, thereby improving testing efficiency.
[0094] As explained above, the connection method between the positioning mechanism 9 and the body 2 can be the same as or similar to the connection method between the lower housing 14 and the body 2. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG16, the positioning mechanism 9 may include a protrusion 92, which can be installed in the guide groove 22 of the body 2. The protrusion 92 and the lug 141 in the lower housing 14 may have the same structure. The guide groove 22 can provide guidance for the installation of the protrusion 92 and can also limit the position of the protrusion 92, ensuring the stability of the positioning mechanism 9 on the body 2.
[0095] Figure 18 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 18, the positioning mechanism 9 may further include a second positioning part 93, which can be positioned and engaged with the first positioning part 23 on the body 2. The second positioning part 93 may have the same structure as the aforementioned fourth positioning part 15. For example, when the first positioning part 23 is a positioning pin, the positioning pin can be threaded to the body 2 or fastened in a corresponding hole on the body 2 by an interference fit; the second positioning part 93 can be a pin hole, which can be fitted onto the corresponding positioning pin, thereby achieving the installation and positioning of the circuit board assembly.
[0096] Figure 19 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a test device provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 19, the positioning mechanism 9 may further include a third positioning part 94, which is used for positioning and cooperating with the circuit board assembly. For example, the third positioning part 94 can be used for positioning and cooperating with the upper housing 13 in the circuit board assembly. Optionally, the third positioning part 94 can be a positioning hole, a positioning post, or a protruding rib, etc. The third positioning part 94 can ensure that the circuit board assembly has high positional accuracy on the positioning mechanism 9, thereby ensuring that the first connector 12 and the second connector 41 have high insertion accuracy.
[0097] Figure 20 is a structural schematic diagram of the connector assembly 4 provided in an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 20, the test device also includes a mounting base 42, and the second connector 41 and the mounting base 42 constitute the connector assembly 4. The second connector 41 is disposed on the mounting base 42, and the mounting base 42 is disposed on the body 2. The mounting base 42 can support the second connector 41 and simultaneously enable the connector assembly 4 to be installed entirely on the support body 25 (see Figure 4) within the body 2, ensuring the reliability of the connector assembly 4's installation on the body 2.
[0098] Figure 21 is a cross-sectional view of a connector assembly 4 provided in one embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 21, the second connector 41 can be connected to the mounting base 42 via a first connector 43. Exemplarily, the first connector 43 can be a screw with trapezoidal threads. The second connector 41 can be provided with a first mounting hole 411, through which the screw can pass and be fastened to the mounting base 42. Multiple first connectors 43 can be provided, and correspondingly, multiple first mounting holes 411 can be provided. For example, four first connectors 43 and four first mounting holes 411 are provided, distributed at the four corners of the second connector 41. The fixing depth of each first connector 43 on the mounting base 42 can be independently adjusted, thereby facilitating the adjustment of the posture of the second connector 41 to ensure high insertion accuracy between the second connector 41 and the first connector 12.
[0099] Along the radial direction of the first connector 43, there is a gap between the first connector 43 and the mounting base 42. This gap can absorb the assembly tolerance when the first connector 12 and the second connector 41 are inserted. That is, during the insertion process, the second connector 41 can make slight movement and adjustment through the gap after being subjected to force, so as to ensure that the second connector 41 and the first connector 12 are successfully inserted, and avoid the problem of reverse pins caused by interference.
[0100] In one embodiment, as shown in FIG21, the mounting base 42 is provided with a threaded hole 422, and the first connecting member 43 may be provided with threads, such as trapezoidal threads, and there may be a certain radial clearance between the trapezoidal threads and the threaded hole 422. Alternatively, this clearance can be formed by adjusting the fit between the diameter of the first connecting member 43 and the inner diameter of the threaded hole 422. For example, the clearance can be generated when the diameter of the first connecting member 43 is smaller than the inner diameter of the threaded hole 422.
[0101] Figure 22 is a cross-sectional view of a connector assembly 4 provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 22, the connector assembly 4 further includes a first elastic member 45, which is disposed between the second connector 41 and the mounting base 42. The first elastic member 45 is used to allow the second connector 41 to slide relative to the first connector 43. Exemplarily, the second connector 41 can be slidably connected to the first connector 43 through the aforementioned first mounting hole 411. The first elastic member 45 can be a spring or a sheet spring. When the second connector 41 is not inserted with the first connector 12, the first elastic member 45 is in its natural state. During the insertion process of the first connector 12 and the second connector 41, the second connector 41 is subjected to pressure from the first connector 12, and the second connector 41 moves along the first connector 43 toward the mounting base 42, causing the first elastic member 45 to undergo elastic compression deformation. When the insertion force on the first connector 12 is released, for example, when the first connector 12 is removed after testing, the first elastic member 45 recovers its deformation, allowing the second connector 41 to automatically return to its initial position.
[0102] Figure 23 is a cross-sectional view of the connector assembly 4 provided in another embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 23, the mounting base 42 can be connected to the body 2 through the second connector 44. The second connector 44 can be an independently machined part. For example, the second connector 44 can be a height equalizer screw. There can be multiple height equalizer screws. The mounting base 42 can have multiple second mounting holes 421. The height equalizer screw can pass through the second mounting holes 421 and be fixed on the body 2.
[0103] Figure 24 is a schematic diagram of the connection between the connector assembly 4 and the body 2 according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 24, the body 2 may be provided with threaded holes 24, and the equal-height screws can be fastened in the corresponding threaded holes 24 on the body 2 after passing through the second mounting hole 421. In this embodiment, by using multiple equal-height screws to connect the mounting base 42 and the body 2, it can be ensured that the surface of the mounting base 42 facing the body 2 is perpendicular to the height direction of the body 2, thereby ensuring that the orientation of the insertion end of the second connector 41 is perpendicular to the height direction of the body 2, and thus ensuring that the second connector 41 can be accurately inserted into the first connector 12.
[0104] Figure 25 is a schematic diagram of the connection between the connector assembly 4 and the body 2 according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 25, the connector assembly 4 may further include two elastic elements. The second elastic element 46 is disposed between the mounting base 42 and the body 2. The second elastic element 46 is used to allow the mounting base 42 to slide relative to the second connector 44. Exemplarily, the mounting base 42 can be slidably connected to the second connector 44 through the aforementioned second mounting hole 421. The second elastic element 46 can be a spring or a sheet. When the second connector 41 is not inserted with the first connector 12, the second elastic element 46 is in its natural state. During the insertion process of the first connector 12 and the second connector 41, the second connector 41 will be subjected to pressure from the first connector 12. The mounting base 42 moves along the second connector 44 towards the body 2, causing the second elastic element 46 to undergo elastic compression deformation. When the insertion force on the first connector 12 is released, for example, when the first connector 12 is removed after the test, the second elastic element 46 recovers its deformation, which can automatically return the entire connector assembly 4 to its initial position.
