Description

Automatic wire stripping device Technical Field

[0001] This application relates to the field of wire stripping technology, and more particularly to an automatic wire stripping device. Background Technology

[0002] Electrical wires are the most common material used in electrical equipment, with outer diameters ranging from 10mm to 50mm; the tensile strength of the materials used varies from 200MPa to 1900MPa due to significant differences in structure and materials. Wires with production defects need to be stripped and then remanufactured. Technical issues

[0003] Traditional wire stripping methods rely on manual stripping, which is not only inefficient but also yields unsatisfactory results. Therefore, providing an effective wire stripping device to reduce manual stripping costs and save time is a problem that urgently needs to be solved by those skilled in the art. Technical solutions

[0004] This application provides an automatic wire stripping device to solve the problems of low efficiency and unsatisfactory stripping effect of traditional wire stripping methods in the prior art.

[0005] This application provides an automatic wire stripping device, comprising:

[0006] The rotating base has a central wire-passing hole that extends along the axial direction, and the central wire-passing hole is used to allow the first wire to pass through.

[0007] A wire stripper is mounted on a rotating base and extends radially along the rotating base. A side wire passage is formed on the wire stripper, which is used to allow the second wire to pass through. The wire stripper can rotate under the drive of the rotating base to separate the twisted first wire and the second wire.

[0008] In one possible design, the side wire passage is located on the side of the wire stripper away from the center wire passage hole.

[0009] In one possible design, an opening groove is formed on the side of the stripping disc away from the central wire passage hole, and guide rollers are spaced apart in the opening groove. The roller surface of the guide rollers away from the central wire passage hole is used to contact the second wire.

[0010] In one possible design, pressure rollers are also spaced apart in the opening slot. The roller surface of the pressure roller near the center wire hole is used to contact the second wire body, and a side wire passage is formed between the pressure roller and the guide roller.

[0011] In one possible design, there are multiple stripping discs, which are arranged circumferentially on the side wall of the rotating base.

[0012] In one possible design, the end of the rotary seat is provided with an end flange for connecting to the rotating equipment, and the end flange is provided with side cable passage holes corresponding to each side cable passage.

[0013] In one possible design, a straightening component is also included, which is located downstream of the stripping disc. The straightening component includes a housing and several straightening strips disposed on the inner wall of the housing. The housing has an inlet and an outlet disposed opposite to each other, and the free ends of the straightening strips extend toward the central axis of the housing.

[0014] In one possible design, the straightening element also includes a bushing fitted onto the inner wall of the housing, with the straightening band formed on the inner wall of the bushing.

[0015] In one possible design, a heating element is also included, which is disposed between the stripping disc and the straightening element, for heating the second wire before it enters the housing.

[0016] In one possible design, a winding component is also included, which includes:

[0017] Fixture;

[0018] A rotating frame, rotatably mounted on a fixed frame;

[0019] The take-up roller is mounted on the rotating frame and can rotate synchronously with the rotating frame while also rotating on its own axis. Beneficial effects

[0020] The beneficial effects of this application are as follows: The automatic wire stripping device of this application is used to quickly separate the first and second wires that are twisted together. Specifically, by allowing the first wire to pass through the central wire-passing hole on the rotating base and the second wire to pass through the side wire-passing channel on the stripping disc, when the rotating base drives the stripping disc to rotate synchronously, the second wire can be driven to rotate around the first wire, thereby unwinding the second wire from the first wire and quickly separating the twisted first and second wires.

[0021] By setting a heating element, the second wire can be moderately heated to soften it. After being moderately softened, the second wire passes through the straightening element, and the friction between the straightening belt and the surface of the second wire straightens the bent section of the second wire, while avoiding damage to the second wire. In this way, the bent section formed by twisting can be straightened again, so that the second wire after stripping remains straight, providing qualified wire for reproducible production.

[0022] By setting up a take-up assembly, on the one hand, the take-up roller can rotate around its own axis to rewind the second wire, and on the other hand, the rotating frame drives the take-up roller to revolve so that the second wire can automatically unwind itself before being rewound, thus providing qualified wire for reproducible production. The best embodiment of the present invention

[0031] The technical solutions of this application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the embodiments. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some embodiments of this application, not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of this application, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative effort are within the scope of protection of this application.

[0032] Electrical wires are typically made by twisting multiple wires together. Generally, at least one second wire 920 is wound around a first wire 910 to form the twisted structure. However, during the production process, some defective wires may be found during product inspection. For these defective wires, the second wire 920 needs to be stripped from the first wire 910 for subsequent production. Currently, manual stripping is used, which is not only inefficient but also yields unsatisfactory results.

[0033] The automatic wire stripping device provided in the embodiments of this application is described below with reference to Figures 1-6.

[0034] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the automatic wire stripping device provided in this embodiment includes a rotating base 100 and a stripping disc 200. The rotating base 100 is connected to a motor for transmission to achieve rotation around its own axis. A central wire-passing hole 110 is provided on the rotating base 100, which is used to allow the first wire 910 to pass through. The stripping disc 200 is welded, bolted, or integrally formed on the outer wall of the rotating base 100. The disc surface of the stripping disc 200 extends radially outward along the rotating base 100, and the length direction of the stripping disc 200 extends axially along the rotating base 100. A side wire-passing channel 210 is formed on the stripping disc 200, which is located on the side of the stripping disc 200 away from the central wire-passing hole 110. The side wire-passing channel 210 is used to allow the second wire 920 to pass through. Specifically, the side-passing wire channel 210 is curved, and the distance between the two ends of the side-passing wire channel 210 and the rotating seat 100 is smaller than the distance between the middle of the side-passing wire channel and the rotating seat 100. This helps the second wire body 920 to make a smooth transition between the first wire body 910 and the side-passing wire channel, making the friction force at each contact point more even, and avoiding damage to the second wire body 920 caused by large friction force at the inflection point.

[0035] When the rotating seat 100 rotates around its own axis, the stripping disc 200 can rotate under the drive of the rotating seat 100, thereby driving the second wire 920 to rotate, while the first wire 910 does not rotate. In this way, the first wire 910 and the second wire 920, which were originally twisted together, will be quickly separated and stripped apart.

[0036] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, in some specific embodiments, an opening groove 220 is formed on the side of the stripping disc 200 away from the central wire passage hole 110. Guide rollers 300 are spaced apart within the opening groove 220, and the roller surface of the guide rollers 300 away from the central wire passage hole 110 is used to contact the second wire 920. The opening groove 220 facilitates the passage of the end of the second wire 920 through the wire passage channel. The guide rollers 300 can rotate around their own axis, thereby converting the sliding friction between the second wire 920 and the stripping disc 200 into rolling friction between the second wire 920 and the guide rollers 300. This reduces the frictional resistance as the second wire 920 moves forward, preventing damage to the second wire 920 due to excessive friction.

[0037] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, in some specific embodiments, pressure rollers 400 are also spaced apart within the opening groove 220. The pressure rollers 400 are located near the opening of the opening groove 220, and guide rollers 300 are located near the bottom of the opening groove 220. The pressure rollers 400 and guide rollers 300 are arranged sequentially at intervals, forming a side thread passage channel 210 between them. When the second thread 920 passes through the side thread passage channel via each guide roller 300 and pressure roller 400, the roller surface (inner roller surface) of the pressure roller 400 near the central thread passage hole 110 contacts the second thread 920, while the roller surface (outer roller surface) of the guide roller 300 away from the central thread passage hole 110 contacts the second thread 920. Thus, when the rotating seat 100 drives the stripping disc 200 to rotate, the pressure rollers 400 can prevent the second thread 920 from coming out of the opening of the opening groove 220 due to centrifugal force.

[0038] In some specific embodiments, there are multiple stripping discs 200, such as two, three, or more. These multiple stripping discs 200 are circumferentially spaced on the sidewall of the rotating base 100. Each stripping disc 200 corresponds to a second wire 920, suitable for stripping wires in which multiple second wires 920 are twisted onto a first wire 910. When the rotating base 100 drives each stripping disc 200 to rotate, it can drive all the second wires 920 to rotate synchronously, thereby stripping them from the first wire 910.

[0039] Referring to Figure 1, in some specific embodiments, an end flange 500 is fixed to the end of the rotary seat 100, and the end flange 500 is used to connect to the rotating equipment. For example, the end flange 500 is bolted to the inner side of the pulley, and the pulley is connected to the motor drive via a belt. The motor can drive the pulley and the end flange 500 to rotate, thereby driving the rotary seat 100 to rotate. Side wire passage holes 510 corresponding to each side wire passage channel 210 are provided on the end flange 500. Specifically, the side wire passage holes 510 are evenly distributed along the circumference of the end flange 500, and each side wire passage hole 510 corresponds to a second wire body 920. This is suitable for stripping wires with multiple second wire bodies 920 twisted on the first wire body 910. After stripping, the second wire bodies 920 pass through the corresponding side wire passage holes 510 to reach the subsequent work station.

[0040] Referring to Figures 3 and 4, in some specific embodiments, a straightening member 600 is further provided downstream of the stripping reel 200. The straightening member 600 includes a housing 610 and a plurality of straightening strips 620 disposed on the inner wall of the housing 610. The housing 610 has an inlet 611 and an outlet 612 disposed opposite to each other. The free ends of the straightening strips 620 extend toward the outlet 612 toward the central axis of the housing 610. The second wire 920 enters the housing 610 from the inlet 611 and exits from the outlet 612 along the central axis of the housing 610. In this way, the free ends of the straightening strips 620 gather around the second wire 920. When the second wire 920 passes through the outlet 612, the straightening belt 620 is pulled backward, and the free end extends along the second wire 920 towards the outlet 612. In this way, all the free ends of the straightening belt 620 will gather near the outlet 612, thereby gradually increasing the friction between the second wire 920 and the straightening belt 620 near the outlet 612. Under the action of friction, the bent section of the second wire 920 is straightened, while avoiding damage to the second wire 920. In this way, the bent section formed by twisting can be straightened again, so that the second wire 920 after stripping remains straight, providing qualified wire for reproduction.

[0041] In some specific embodiments, the straightening band 620 is made of a rubber band with high friction. Thus, the straightening band 620 can provide greater friction by converging within a limited space while maintaining flexibility. In some specific embodiments, a bushing 630 is also provided inside the housing 610. The bushing 630 is fitted onto the inner wall of the housing 610. The bushing 630 is made of the same material as the straightening band 620, and the straightening band 620 is formed directly on the inner wall of the bushing 630. This facilitates the installation of the straightening band 620 inside the housing 610.

[0042] Referring to Figure 4, in some specific embodiments, the housing 610 is a tapered sleeve with a larger opening at one end and a smaller opening at the other end, and the bushing 630 is a tapered bushing 630 that matches the inner wall of the housing 610. Specifically, the inlet 611 has a larger diameter, and the outlet 612 has a smaller diameter. Thus, the larger inlet 611 facilitates the insertion of the bushing 630 into the housing 610, and the smaller outlet 612 prevents the bushing 630 from being dragged outside the housing 610 by the second cable 920. Meanwhile, since the diameter of the inlet 611 is larger and the diameter of the outlet 612 is smaller, the straightening belt 620 is more compact near the outlet 612 than near the inlet 611. In the direction from the inlet 611 to the outlet 612, it can provide a gradually increasing frictional force to the second wire 920. The frictional force reaches its maximum near the outlet 612, thereby restoring the bent second wire 920 to straightness.

[0043] Referring to Figures 4 and 5, in some specific embodiments, a heating element 700 is further provided between the stripping disc 200 and the straightening member 600. The heating element 700 is used to heat the second wire 920 before it enters the housing 610, thereby softening the second wire 920 appropriately, which is beneficial for subsequent straightening by the straightening member 600. Specifically, the heating element 700 includes a first heating roller 710 and a second heating roller 720. The roller surfaces of both the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720 are arc-shaped, and both roller surfaces are concave at their center positions. In this way, the second wire 920 can pass through the concave part of the roller surface. When the second wire 920 passes between the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720, the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720 rotate around their own axes and provide heat to the second wire 920. For example, heating chambers are provided near the roller surfaces of the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720. These chambers are filled with heat-conducting oil at a temperature of 40-50°C, which heats the second thread 920 passing between the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720, improving its softness. Alternatively, electric heating wires are wound near the roller surfaces of the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720. The temperature of these electric heating wires is set to 40-50°C. When the second thread 920 passes between the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720, it is heated and softened. After being appropriately softened, the second thread 920 is easier to straighten when passing through the straightening member 600, and damage due to excessive stiffness during the straightening process is prevented.

[0044] Referring to Figures 3 and 6, in some specific embodiments, a winding assembly 800 is further provided on the downstream side of the straightening member 600. The winding assembly 800 includes a fixed frame 810, a rotating frame 820, and a winding roller 830. The fixed frame 810 is fixed to the ground, the rotating frame 820 is rotatably mounted on the fixed frame 810, and the winding roller 830 is rotatably mounted on the rotating frame 820. Specifically, the rear side of the rotating frame 820 is rotatably mounted on the fixed frame 810 via a rotating shaft 840 and a bearing. A fixed shaft 850 and a gear are installed on the front side of the rotating frame 820. The axis of the fixed shaft 850 coincides with that of the rotating shaft 840. The gear is connected to a motor drive. After the motor starts, it can drive the rotating frame 820 and the winding roller 830 on it to rotate around the rotating shaft 840. When the stripping disc 200 drives the second wire 920 to rotate and strip it from the first wire 910, the latter part of the second wire 920 will become entangled around itself because its end is wound on the take-up roller 830. By setting up the fixed frame 810 and the rotating frame 820, when the rotating frame 820 drives the take-up roller 830 to rotate, the second wire 920 on the take-up roller 830 will untangle itself, ensuring that the second wire 920 automatically untangles itself before being wound up, thus providing qualified wire for reproducible production.

[0045] A winding motor 860 is also installed on the rotating frame 820. A transmission wheel 870 is sleeved on the end of the roller shaft of the winding roller 830. The winding motor 860 is connected to the transmission wheel 870 through a pulley and a belt, so that the winding motor 860 can drive the winding roller 830 to rotate. This allows the winding roller 830 to rotate synchronously with the rotating frame 820, so that the straightened second wire 920 is wound on the winding roller 830.

[0046] Referring to FIG6, in some specific embodiments, an annular guide seat 880 is installed on the fixed frame 810, and an annular guide rail is provided inside the annular guide seat 880. A guide wheel is provided on the rear side of the rotating frame 820. When the rotating frame 820 rotates around the rotating shaft 840, the guide wheel moves along the annular guide rail in the annular guide rail, thereby improving the stability of the rotating frame 820 during rotation.

[0047] The working process of the automatic wire stripping device in this application is as follows:

[0048] The unwinding roller (not shown) rotates, releasing the wire (formed by twisting the first wire 910 and the second wire 920) wound on the unwinding roller. Simultaneously, the rotating seat 100 rotates around its own axis, and the stripping disc 200 rotates under the drive of the rotating seat 100, thereby causing the second wire 920 to rotate while the first wire 910 does not rotate, thus separating the originally twisted first wire 910 and second wire 920. The stripped second wire 920 passes between the first heating roller 710 and the second heating roller 720, where it is heated and softened. After being moderately softened, the second wire 920 passes through the straightening member 600 and is straightened. Finally, the straightened second wire 920 is rewound onto the take-up roller 830. The first wire 910, after stripping, is rewound onto a take-up roller (not shown in the figure), wherein the take-up speed of the take-up roller is synchronized with the release speed of the release roller.
