Description

A microwave fracturing device for deep, insensitive hard rock drilling Technical Field

[0001] This invention belongs to the fields of tunnel construction and deep engineering disaster prevention, and specifically relates to a microwave fracturing device for drilling deep, insensitive hard rock. Background Technology

[0002] Traditional drilling and blasting methods and mechanical methods often exhibit problems such as high energy consumption, low excavation efficiency, and severe pollution in deep hard rock excavation. Microwave pretreatment of the rock mass before hard rock excavation can effectively reduce energy consumption. It is important to distinguish that hard rocks containing sensitive minerals only achieve good heating and weakening effects under microwave irradiation. Sensitive minerals refer to ore minerals (such as chalcopyrite and magnetite) and gangue minerals (such as amphibole and biotite) with high dielectric constants and dielectric loss factors, and the dielectric constants and dielectric loss factors of sensitive ore minerals are generally much higher than those of sensitive gangue minerals. However, for hard rocks without sensitive minerals, such as granite (mainly composed of quartz, plagioclase, alkali feldspar, and calcite), the heating effect under microwave irradiation is not significant, and the weakening effect is poor. Overall, current research neglects the specific analysis of the microwave sensitivity of hard rocks, therefore, microwave fracturing and weakening equipment and methods for such insensitive hard rocks are still lacking. Detailed Implementation

[0031] The technical solutions of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to Figures 1-4 in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. Unless otherwise specified, the technical means used in the embodiments are conventional means well known to those skilled in the art.

[0032] As shown in Figure 1, a microwave fracturing device for drilling deep, insensitive hard rock includes a vehicle-mounted system 23, a slurry spraying system 25, and a microwave emitting system 24.

[0033] The slurry spraying system 25 and the microwave emission system 24 are respectively mounted on the vehicle-mounted system 23 via the mobile platform 22;

[0034] The slurry spraying system 25 is used to deliver slurry into the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 and form a sensitive mineral coating 3 on the inner wall of the insensitive hard rock borehole 2.

[0035] The microwave emitting system 24 is used to irradiate the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 in which the sensitive mineral coating 3 is formed. The sensitive mineral coating 3 raises the temperature of the surface of the insensitive hard rock, increases the temperature gradient between the high-temperature region of the hard rock and the surrounding hard rock, and improves the microwave fracturing performance.

[0036] The vehicle-mounted system 23 and the mobile platform 22 are existing technologies. The vehicle-mounted system 23 can be a modified truck, with the mobile platform 22 installed at the rear. The mobile platform 22 can be a vertical moving platform constructed with jacks or a three-axis moving platform. Its purpose is to move the slurry spraying system 25 and the microwave transmitting system 24 so that they can be inserted into the corresponding insensitive hard rock boreholes 2. The insensitive hard rock boreholes 2 in the surrounding rock 1 are pre-drilled by a drilling rig. The vehicle-mounted system 23 has no additional power supply equipment; the required 380V AC power is provided by the tunnel's internal circuitry. The on-site power supply is connected to the microwave transmitting system 24 and the slurry spraying system 25.

[0037] This invention combines microwave and sensitive mineral coating 3 for fracturing and stress relief in insensitive hard rock in deep tunnels. The microwave emission system 24 emits microwaves to heat and weaken the surrounding hard rock within the borehole, causing cracks in the rock mass and significantly reducing its stress level. The sensitive mineral coating 3 rapidly heats the surface area of the insensitive hard rock, increasing the temperature gradient between the high-temperature region of the hard rock and the surrounding hard rock, thereby stimulating higher thermal stress between the hard rock masses and improving the fracturing and stress relief effect on the surrounding rock mass.

[0038] In addition, a thermal insulation nanomaterial layer 5 can be set on the inner surface of the sensitive mineral coating 3. The main materials of the thermal insulation nanomaterial layer 5 are silica and alkali-free glass fiber. On the one hand, it can insulate the hard rock after microwave heating, preventing heat loss due to convection between the rock and air; on the other hand, it can prevent damage to the coaxial microwave radiator 6 from broken rock fragments and high-temperature molten material after microwave irradiation. At the same time, both silica and glass fiber are microwave-transparent materials, and microwaves can penetrate without loss, so they will not reduce the microwave fracturing efficiency of hard rock. The thermal insulation nanomaterial layer 5 can be pre-made into a roll and then laid manually, or it can be formed in the pores by spraying.

[0039] Furthermore, the microwave transmitting system 24 includes a housing, a high-frequency power supply 14, a 15kW microwave head 13, a water load device 12, a rectangular waveguide 9, a rectangular-to-circular conversion device 8, a coaxial transmission waveguide 7, and a coaxial microwave radiator 6.

[0040] The enclosure is mounted on the mobile platform 22. The high-frequency power supply 14 is installed inside the enclosure. The 15kW microwave head 13 is installed on the top of the enclosure. The output end of the 15kW microwave head 13 is connected in sequence to the water load device 12, the rectangular waveguide 9, the rectangular-to-circular conversion device 8, the coaxial transmission waveguide 7, and the coaxial microwave radiator 6.

[0041] The coaxial microwave radiator 6 is adapted to the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 and is used to insert into the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 and emit microwaves.

[0042] The high-frequency power supply 14, the 15kW microwave head 13, the water load device 12, the rectangular waveguide 9, the rectangular-to-circular conversion device 8, the coaxial transmission waveguide 7, and the coaxial microwave radiator 6 are all existing technologies. The water load device 12 is connected to the water-cooled box 15 to improve water circulation cooling and protect the microwave head. The coaxial microwave radiator 6 has an opening to expose microwaves to the insensitive hard rock around the borehole.

[0043] In addition, a manual three-pin tuner 10 is provided on the rectangular waveguide 9 to change the inductance value and tune the circuit; a microwave power meter 11 is provided on the rectangular waveguide 9 to monitor the microwave input and output power in real time. Both the manual three-pin tuner 10 and the microwave power meter 11 are existing technologies. The bottom of the enclosure can be fixedly mounted on the mobile platform 22 via a mounting plate 21.

[0044] Furthermore, the slurry spraying system 25 includes a pump motor 17, a liquid storage system 18, a liquid delivery pipeline 19, and a liquid outlet nozzle 20;

[0045] The input end of the pumping motor 17 is connected to the liquid storage system 18, and the output end of the pumping motor 17 is connected to the liquid delivery pipe 19. The liquid delivery pipe 19 is adapted to the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 and is used to be inserted into the insensitive hard rock borehole 2. The liquid delivery pipe 19 is provided with a plurality of liquid outlet nozzles 20 for spraying slurry onto the inner wall surface of the insensitive hard rock borehole 2.

[0046] The infusion pipeline 19 has an "L"-shaped structure, including a horizontal section and a vertical section. The horizontal section is longer and is used for insertion into the insensitive hard rock borehole 2, while the vertical section connects to the pump motor 17. The storage system 18 stores a mixture of sensitive mineral particles and a high-temperature resistant binder. This mixture is used to form a sensitive mineral coating 3 on the inner wall of the insensitive hard rock borehole 2. Additionally, the pump motor 17 is connected to the injection control system 16 to control the pumping pressure.

[0047] The sensitive mineral particles used in this invention are selected from 40-60 mesh chalcopyrite or magnetite particles. These minerals have high dielectric constants and dielectric loss factors, and exhibit excellent heating effects under microwave irradiation. The high-temperature resistant binder can be a specially formulated high-temperature solution of inorganic copper oxide materials (resistant to 1800℃) or other high-temperature resistant binders.

[0048] Furthermore, a scraper 26 is fixedly connected to the end of the infusion pipe 19. The scraper 26 has an annular gap with the inner wall of the insensitive hard rock borehole 2, which is used to evenly scrape the sensitive mineral coating 3.

[0049] The scraper 26 has a disc structure. When the sensitive mineral coating 3 is formed and moves out of the infusion pipe 19, the scraper 26 can evenly scrape the sensitive mineral coating 3, so that the sensitive mineral coating 3 maintains a uniform thickness, and at the same time plays the role of emptying the non-sensitive hard rock borehole 2.

[0050] Furthermore, a ceramic fiber membrane plug 4 is fixedly connected to the infusion pipeline 19. The ceramic fiber membrane plug 4 is used to plug the insensitive hard rock borehole 2. The ceramic fiber membrane plug 4 abuts against the end face of the insensitive hard rock borehole 2, sealing the insensitive hard rock borehole 2. Air holes may be provided on the ceramic fiber membrane plug 4 to maintain stable air pressure inside the insensitive hard rock borehole 2.

[0051] Furthermore, the infusion pipeline 19 is connected to the liquid outlet nozzle 20 via a rotating mechanism 27, which is used to make the liquid outlet nozzle 20 spray slurry in an annular manner.

[0052] The present invention uses a rotating mechanism 27 to make the liquid nozzle 20 rotate and spray, thereby achieving the function of uniformly covering the insensitive hard rock borehole 2.

[0053] Specifically, as shown in Figures 2-4, the rotating mechanism 27 includes an annular connecting plate 274, a rotating plate 272, a connecting pipe 271, and a sealing assembly;

[0054] The infusion pipeline 19 is divided into multiple sections, and two annular connecting plates 274 are provided between each two adjacent sections. The opposite sides of the two annular connecting plates 274 are respectively fixedly connected to the ends of the two adjacent infusion pipeline sections 19, and the hollow part of the annular connecting plate 274 is connected to the infusion pipeline 19.

[0055] The outer rings of the two annular connecting plates 274 are rotatably connected to the rotating plate 272. The connecting pipe 271 is fixedly connected to the upper part of the rotating plate 272. The liquid outlet nozzle 20 is installed at the outer end of the connecting pipe 271. The connecting pipe 271 is located between the two annular connecting plates 274. The axis of the spray direction of the liquid outlet nozzle 20 intersects with the outer circumference of the rotating plate 272, so that the rotating plate 272 rotates when the liquid outlet nozzle 20 sprays.

[0056] The sealing assembly is provided on the inner ring of the rotating plate 272.

[0057] It should be noted that the portion of the infusion pipe 19 that inserts into the insensitive hard rock borehole 2 is divided into multiple segments. Two annular connecting plates 274 are spaced apart, and the outer rotating plate 272 seals the gap between the two annular connecting plates 274, thereby forming a sealed chamber together with the rotating plate 272 and the two annular connecting plates 274. The two ends of this sealed chamber are the two adjacent segments of the infusion pipe 19. In addition, the annular connecting plates 274, the infusion pipe 19, and the rotating plate 272 are coaxially arranged. The two annular connecting plates 274 have an annular structure, and their hollow portions are connected to the infusion pipe 19; the end of the infusion pipe 19 away from the pump motor 17 is a closed structure.

[0058] Since the axis of the spray direction of the liquid outlet nozzle 20 intersects the outer circumference of the rotating plate 272, the liquid outlet nozzle 20 generates a torque thrust on the rotating plate 272 when it sprays. When the pumping motor 17 delivers slurry into the delivery pipe 19, hydraulic pressure is formed in the delivery pipe 19, and the slurry is sprayed out through the liquid outlet nozzle 20. The liquid outlet nozzle 20 generates a recoil force that causes the rotating plate 272 to rotate. To improve rotational performance, multiple liquid outlet nozzles 20 can be evenly distributed around the rotating plate 272.

[0059] The present invention utilizes the recoil force of the liquid spray nozzle 20 to make the rotating plate 272 rotate, thereby achieving the function of uniformly covering the sensitive mineral coating 3, and avoiding the use of electrical control equipment. The entire implementation process is simple and easy to arrange.

[0060] Furthermore, the sealing assembly includes an inner ring plate 273, an elastic diaphragm ring 275, and an annular retaining plate 277;

[0061] The inner ring of the rotating plate 272 is fixedly connected to the inner ring plate 273. The outer rings of the two elastic membrane rings 275 are fixedly connected to both sides of the inner ring plate 273. The inner rings of the two elastic membrane rings 275 are fixedly connected to the two annular clamping plates 277. The two annular clamping plates 277 are rotatably connected to the inner rings of the two annular connecting plates 274.

[0062] The two elastic membrane rings 275 are used to expand and abut against the two annular connecting plates 274 to form a seal when subjected to slurry pressure.

[0063] The sealing assembly primarily performs a sealing function. Two annular clamping plates 277 are rotatably connected to the inner rings of two annular connecting plates 274 via bearings. Therefore, for the elastic diaphragm ring 275, its outer ring is constrained by the inner ring plate 273, and its inner ring is constrained by the annular clamping plates 277. When the sealed chamber formed by the rotating plate 272 and the two annular connecting plates 274 is filled with slurry, the two elastic diaphragm rings 275 expand outwards and abut against the annular connecting plates 274, thereby achieving a sealing function. Furthermore, the greater the pressure output by the pumping motor 17, the better the sealing effect of the elastic diaphragm rings 275.

[0064] Furthermore, the elastic diaphragm ring 275 is made of rubber and has a wavy structure. Adaptive wavy grooves 276 are provided on opposite sides of the two annular connecting plates 274. When the wavy elastic diaphragm ring 275 expands, it engages with the wavy grooves 276, further improving the sealing performance.

[0065] The workflow of this invention is as follows:

[0066] Step 1: Based on the tunnel site monitoring and experimental data, identify and select high-strength or high-stress areas of insensitive hard rock on site for borehole microwave fracturing and stress relief treatment.

[0067] Step 2: Install a non-sensitive hard rock borehole 2 with a diameter greater than 100mm at the working face of the deep non-sensitive hard rock tunnel. Transport the device to the working face via the vehicle-mounted system 23. Extend the infusion pipeline 19 and the liquid outlet nozzle 20 into the bottom of the borehole via the vehicle-mounted system 23 and the mobile platform 22.

[0068] Step 3: Connect the power supply at the tunnel construction site, turn on the system control power supply in the injection control system 16, and control the pump motor 17 to start on the operation control display screen to output slurry from the storage system 18 and spray it onto the hard rock surface. Then, by adjusting the flow rate, ensure that the thickness of the sensitive mineral coating 3 can reach 10mm. The slurry spraying system 25 can move back and forth to ensure uniform spraying.

[0069] Step 4: After the sensitive coating has completely solidified, lay a 10mm thick layer of thermal insulation nanomaterial 5 on top of the coating. After laying, move the vehicle system 23 and the moving platform 22 again so that the coaxial microwave radiator 6 reaches the bottom of the borehole. The opening of the hole can be plugged with a ceramic fiber membrane to prevent microwaves from escaping from the opening and affecting the heating effect.

[0070] Step 5: Connect the power supply to the tunnel construction site, turn on the water load device 12 to prevent the magnetron from overheating, ensure the water flow rate is not less than 8L / min, turn on the filament power supply of the microwave transmitting system 24 to preheat the equipment. After preheating, turn on the high-frequency power supply 14 to emit microwaves of a certain power through the magnetron, and monitor the microwave transmission efficiency in real time through the microwave power meter 11 (if the transmission efficiency is low, adjust it through the manual three-pin adjuster 10) to prevent low microwave transmission efficiency or leakage. At the same time, stress gauges can be buried around the borehole to observe the stress changes around the borehole in real time, thereby further adjusting the heating time for different hard rock tunnels (the default is 10min). Furthermore, similar to the movement operation of the slurry spraying system 25, microwave irradiation heating of the borehole wall surface at different depths is completed.

[0071] Step 6: When multiple holes are installed in the tunnel, the microwave emission system 24 and the slurry spraying system 25 can work in parallel and synchronously, effectively improving the fracturing and stress relief efficiency of the surrounding rock 1. At the same time, the heating fracturing and stress relief effect of the insensitive hard rock can be judged in a timely manner by monitoring the stress of the surrounding rock 1. After the expected stress release effect is achieved, the control power of each system is turned off, the on-site power supply is disconnected, and the device can be transported away through the vehicle-mounted system 23.

[0072] The embodiments described above are merely preferred embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Any modifications, alterations, substitutions, or variations made by those skilled in the art to the technical solutions of the present invention without departing from the spirit of the present invention shall fall within the protection scope defined by the claims of the present invention.
