Abstract
Description
Matrix preparation method, aerosol generation products and systems
[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 2025104648083, filed on April 14, 2025, entitled “Method for preparing matrix, aerosol generating article and system”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0002] This application relates to the field of aerosol generation technology, specifically to a matrix preparation method, aerosol generation product and system. Background Technology
[0003] Heated non-combustible aerosol generating products are usually used in conjunction with heated non-combustible devices. When in use, the heated non-combustible device heats the aerosol generating product, causing the aerosol substrate section to generate aerosol.
[0004] In related technologies, heated non-combustible aerosol generating products are usually designed as cylindrical structures, and the heated non-combustible devices typically heat the aerosol generating products in a circumferential manner.
[0005] However, during the circumferential heating process, heat is transferred from the outside to the inside, resulting in the internal temperature of the aerosol substrate segment being relatively lower than the external temperature. The internal temperature is difficult to reach the ideal temperature for full baking, thus making it difficult to fully utilize the aerosol substrate segment. Summary of the Invention
[0006] This application provides a method for preparing a matrix portion, an aerosol generating article, and a system to solve the problem that the aerosol substrate segment is difficult to fully utilize in heated non-combustible aerosol generating articles.
[0007] In one embodiment, a method for preparing a matrix is provided, comprising:
[0008] Place the aerosol substrate into the mold;
[0009] The aerosol substrate in the mold is pressed by a presser to obtain a semi-matrix body with a mating surface and a groove; wherein, the presser has a pressing surface, and the pressing surface is provided with a protrusion extending through both ends of its length direction. The protrusion is used to form the groove on the mating surface of the semi-matrix body during the pressing process. The groove extends through both ends of the semi-matrix body along the extension direction of the semi-matrix body.
[0010] The mating surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole, thus obtaining the matrix part.
[0011] In one embodiment, the step of fitting the mating surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole to obtain the matrix portion, includes:
[0012] A columnar insert is placed inside a groove in one of the semi-matrix bodies;
[0013] The mating surfaces of one of the semi-matrix bodies and another semi-matrix body containing the built-in component are fitted together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole, thus obtaining the matrix portion.
[0014] In one embodiment, the built-in component has a cavity that extends through the built-in component along its extension direction, and a plurality of airflow channels are formed on the sidewall of the built-in component, the airflow channels communicating with the cavity;
[0015] Alternatively, the built-in component has a cavity that extends through the built-in component along its extension direction, and the sidewalls of the built-in component are airtight.
[0016] Alternatively, the built-in component may be made of a porous and breathable material, and the built-in component may be filled with a fragrance substance that can generate aerosols when heated.
[0017] In one embodiment, after the aerosol substrate is placed into the mold, and before the aerosol substrate in the mold is pressed by a press to obtain a semi-matrix body with a mating surface and a groove, the method further includes:
[0018] The aerosol substrate in the mold is leveled using a scraper to remove any portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds a preset height.
[0019] In one embodiment, the mold includes a mold body having a receiving groove for receiving the aerosol substrate. The receiving groove has a top opening and end openings located at both ends along the length of the mold. The mold also includes a baffle for closing the end openings, the baffle being slidably connected to the mold body along the height of the mold.
[0020] The step of leveling the aerosol substrate in the mold using a scraper to remove portions of the aerosol substrate exceeding a preset height includes:
[0021] Slide and adjust each of the baffles so that the distance between the top surface of each baffle and the bottom wall of the receiving groove along the height direction of the mold is a preset height;
[0022] The aerosol substrate in the mold is leveled by scraping with a scraper to remove the portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height;
[0023] Before obtaining the semi-matrix body with mating surfaces and grooves by pressing the aerosol substrate in the mold with a press, the method further includes: ...
[0024] The press is moved a predetermined distance away from the mold, and each of the baffles is slidably adjusted so that each of the end openings is at least partially exposed. The semi-matrix body is then removed through the exposed portion of the end opening, wherein the orthographic projection of the exposed portion of the end opening at least covers the orthographic projection of the semi-matrix body along the length direction of the mold.
[0025] In one embodiment, after the aerosol substrate is placed into the mold, and before the aerosol substrate in the mold is leveled by a scraper to remove the portion of the aerosol substrate exceeding a preset height, the method further includes:
[0026] Vibration is applied to the aerosol substrate in the mold using a vibration assembly.
[0027] In one embodiment, the scraper is flexible; and / or the height of the scraper is adjustable.
[0028] In one embodiment, the step of fitting the mating surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole to obtain the matrix portion, includes:
[0029] The mating surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies are fitted together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole.
[0030] The outer surfaces of the two connected semi-matrix bodies are wrapped with an outer cladding layer, and the semi-matrix bodies are segmented and cut along the extension direction to obtain multiple matrix parts.
[0031] In one embodiment, an aerosol generating article is provided, comprising a filter section, a cooling section, and a matrix section prepared by the matrix section preparation method described above, arranged sequentially.
[0032] In one embodiment, an aerosol generation system is provided, including an aerosol generation device and an aerosol generation article as described above;
[0033] The aerosol generating apparatus includes a receiving cavity for inserting the aerosol-generated article and a heating component for heating the aerosol-generated article within the receiving cavity.
[0034] Under the same circumferential heating structure and heating temperature conditions, compared to the solid matrix portion in related technologies, the matrix portion prepared according to the matrix portion preparation method of the above embodiment has hollow holes. The hollow holes of the matrix portion are free of aerosol substrate, thus eliminating the underutilized aerosol substrate in the center of the original solid matrix portion, removing the shortcoming of insufficient aerosol substrate utilization, and improving the overall utilization rate of the aerosol substrate in the matrix portion. Furthermore, the matrix portion prepared using the matrix portion preparation method provided in this application can ensure full utilization of the aerosol substrate in the matrix portion without increasing the heating temperature, avoiding unpleasant odors such as scorching caused by overheating of the outer periphery of the matrix portion. In addition, the absence of aerosol substrate in the hollow holes of the matrix portion reduces the amount of aerosol substrate used, and the consistency of the multiple semi-matrix bodies produced by the mold and press is good, which is beneficial to improving the matching degree between the mating surfaces of two semi-matrix bodies.

[0056] In one embodiment, a method for preparing a matrix portion is provided, which is used to prepare the matrix portion 13 in the aerosol generating article 1 shown in FIG. 9. Referring to FIG. 1, the matrix portion preparation method includes:
[0057] S1, Place the aerosol substrate into the mold.
[0058] The aerosol substrate is a solid material that generates an aerosol through heating without combustion. The aerosol substrate comprises tobacco powder and an atomizing agent; in some embodiments, it may also include tobacco extracts, flavorings, and other additives. In some embodiments, the aerosol substrate may include a non-aqueous adhesive, in which case the entire preparation process of the matrix can be waterless.
[0059] Before placing the aerosol substrate into the mold, the matrix preparation method further includes: preparing the aerosol substrate. Preparing the aerosol substrate may include: placing the various components of the aerosol substrate into a mixer, and using the mixer to mix the various components of the aerosol substrate evenly.
[0060] Referring to Figure 2, mold 3 is a split structure, including mold body 31 and baffle 32. Mold body 31 has a receiving groove 311, which is an elongated groove. Mold body 31 can be a one-piece structure, or it can be composed of multiple segments spliced together along the length of mold 3. The length of mold 3 can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow B in Figure 3.
[0061] The aerosol substrate is placed into mold 3, specifically: the aerosol substrate is placed into the receiving groove 311 of mold 3. Receiving groove 311 includes a straight wall section 3111 and a semi-circular groove bottom 3112. The straight wall section 3111 has a rectangular cross-sectional shape and a uniform width equal to the diameter of the semi-circular groove bottom 3112. The wall surface of the straight wall section 3111 extends along the tangent direction at both ends of the semi-circular groove bottom 3112. Along the height direction of mold 3, the height of the straight wall section 3111 can be greater than or equal to the radius of the semi-circular groove bottom 3112. The height direction of mold 3 can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow A in Figure 2.
[0062] S2, the aerosol substrate in the mold is pressed by a press to obtain a semi-matrix body with a mating surface and a groove.
[0063] Referring to Figures 4 and 5, the press 4 has a pressing surface 41, on which protrusions 42 extend through both ends along its length. The protrusions 42 form grooves 1312 on the mating surfaces 1311 of the semi-matrix body 131 during the pressing process. The grooves 1312 extend through both ends of the semi-matrix body 131 along its extension direction. The extension direction of the semi-matrix body 131 can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow E in Figure 6. The press 4 is a cuboid structure with protrusions 42, and the width of the press 4 is equal to the width of the straight wall section 3111 of the accommodating groove 311. The pressing surface 41 is used to press out the mating surfaces 1311 of the semi-matrix body 131, and the protrusions 42 are located at the exact center of the pressing surface 41 along its width. The press 4 is connected to a first lifting assembly, which is used to lift the press 4.
[0064] Referring to Figure 4, the process of pressing the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 using the press 4 can be as follows: The press 4 moves downward toward the mold 3. During the downward movement, the protrusion 42 first contacts the aerosol substrate, then the pressing surface 41 contacts the aerosol substrate. The press 4 continues to move downward until the pressing surface 41 reaches the junction of the straight wall section 3111 and the semi-circular groove bottom 3112, thus forming a semi-matrix body 131 with a semi-cylindrical structure having a groove 1312. The downward direction of the press 4 during the pressing process can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow C in Figure 4. The radius of the semi-circular groove bottom 3112 is determined according to the radius of the semi-matrix body 131 to be prepared; for example, the radius of the semi-circular groove bottom 3112 can be 2mm to 4mm. The downward pressure of the press 4 can be set according to actual needs; this embodiment does not impose specific limitations.
[0065] S3, the mating surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined together, so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole, thus obtaining the matrix part.
[0066] Specifically, by fitting the mating surfaces 1311 of the two semi-matrix bodies 131 together, forming a circumferentially closed hollow hole through the grooves 1312 of the two semi-matrix bodies 131, the matrix portion 13 can be obtained directly. Alternatively, the two semi-matrix bodies 131 can be processed before obtaining the matrix portion 13. The two semi-matrix bodies 131 can be directly mated or joined by adhesive bonding.
[0067] The matrix portion 13 is a cylindrical structure with hollow pores. There is no aerosol substrate in the hollow pores, so there is no need for heating to generate aerosols. In some embodiments, the hollow pores may contain other fillers besides the aerosol substrate; in other embodiments, the hollow pores may be empty.
[0068] The cross-sectional shape of the hollow hole can be circular, rectangular, hexagonal, etc. When the cross-sectional shape of the hollow hole is circular, the cross-sectional shape of the groove 1312 is semi-circular. When the cross-sectional shape of the hollow hole is circular, the ratio of the diameter of the hollow hole to the outer diameter of the matrix portion 13 can be 1:4 to 1:7, for example, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7, etc. The diameter of the hollow hole can be less than or equal to 2 mm, and the outer diameter of the matrix portion 13 can be less than or equal to 10 mm.
[0069] Under the same circumferential heating structure and heating temperature conditions, compared with the solid matrix part in the related technology, the matrix part 13 prepared by the matrix part preparation method provided in this application has hollow holes. There is no aerosol substrate at the hollow holes of the matrix part 13, which means that the insufficiently utilized aerosol substrate in the middle of the solid matrix part in the related technology is removed, eliminating the shortcoming of insufficient utilization of aerosol substrate and improving the overall utilization rate of aerosol substrate in the matrix part 13.
[0070] In related technologies, solid matrix portions typically require higher heating temperatures to achieve the ideal baking temperature for their internal components. However, higher heating temperatures can lead to overheating of the outer periphery of the solid matrix portion, resulting in unpleasant odors such as burnt residue. The matrix portion 13 prepared using the matrix portion preparation method provided in this application ensures full utilization of the aerosol substrate in the matrix portion 13 without increasing the heating temperature, thus avoiding unpleasant odors such as burnt residue caused by overheating of the outer periphery of the matrix portion. Furthermore, the hollow pores of the matrix portion 13 contain no aerosol substrate, reducing the amount of aerosol substrate used. The multiple semi-matrix bodies 131 produced by the mold 3 and the press 4 exhibit good consistency, which is beneficial for improving the matching degree between the mating surfaces of any two semi-matrix bodies 131.
[0071] In one embodiment, the mating surfaces of two semi-matrix bodies are joined together to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole, thereby obtaining a matrix portion. This includes: placing a columnar embedded member into the groove of one half of the matrix body; and joining the mating surfaces of one half of the matrix body and a half of the matrix body containing the embedded member together to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole, thereby obtaining a matrix portion.
[0072] Figure 6 shows a semi-matrix body 131 with an embedded member 133, and Figure 7 shows the structure after the semi-matrix body 131 and the semi-matrix body 131 with the embedded member 133 are joined. The embedded member 133 is located within a hollow hole in the matrix portion 13. The embedded member 133 serves to support the hollow hole and / or to adsorb or fill aroma-generating substances that can generate aerosols when heated. When the embedded member 133 has a cavity 1331, it is a tubular structure. When the embedded member 133 does not have a cavity 1331, it is a rod-shaped structure.
[0073] In some embodiments, the built-in member 133 serves to support the hollow hole. In some embodiments, the built-in member 133 serves both to support the hollow hole and to adsorb or fill aroma-producing substances. When the built-in member 133 supports the hollow hole, the shape and size of the outer surface of the built-in member 133 are consistent with the shape and size of the hollow hole. For example, when the cross-sectional shape of the hollow hole is circular, the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the built-in member 133 is circular, and the outer diameter of the built-in member 133 is the same as the diameter of the hollow hole. When the built-in member 133 supports the hollow hole, it can maintain the shape of the hollow hole and prevent the matrix portion 13 from collapsing.
[0074] The material of the built-in component 133 shall not produce toxic or harmful substances during the heating process, and the material of the built-in component 133 shall have the characteristic of not producing odors or harmful substances for 10 minutes at a certain temperature. When the built-in component 133 serves to support the hollow hole, the material of the built-in component 133 may be natural cellulose paper, artificial synthetic cellulose paper, ceramic materials, mineral materials such as gypsum, metals, etc.
[0075] In some embodiments, the outer surface dimension of the built-in member 133 is smaller than the dimension of the hollow pore, and the built-in member 133 functions to adsorb or fill aroma-producing substances. When the built-in member 133 functions to adsorb or fill aroma-producing substances, the material of the built-in member 133 includes, but is not limited to, natural cellulose, synthetic cellulose, and synthetic polymer materials. The aroma-producing substances can be fragrances. During the heating process of the matrix portion 13, the built-in member 133 is heated, and the adsorbed aroma-producing substances are released, participating in the formation of aerosols and enhancing the flavor of the aerosols. During the heating process of the matrix portion 13, the temperature of the built-in member 133 is lower than the temperature of the aerosol substrate, and the aroma-producing substances can still be released under these heating conditions to participate in the formation of aerosols.
[0076] In one embodiment, referring to Figures 6 and 7, the built-in member 133 has a cavity 1331 that extends through the built-in member 133 along its extending direction. The sidewall of the built-in member 133 is provided with a plurality of airflow channels that communicate with the cavity 1331.
[0077] In some embodiments, the airflow channel can be a through hole formed on the side wall of the built-in component 133. In this scenario, the airflow channel can be a circular hole, a rectangular hole, or the like. In some embodiments, the side wall of the tubular built-in component 133 itself can be a porous and breathable material, such as natural cellulose, synthetic cellulose, ceramics, synthetic polymers, or the like. In this scenario, the side wall of the built-in component 133 itself has a micro airflow channel.
[0078] The built-in component 133 can be made of paper. The shape and size of the outer surface of the built-in component 133 are consistent with the shape and size of the hollow hole, and the built-in component 133 serves to support the hollow hole. The cross-sectional shape of the built-in component 133 can be annular. In some embodiments, during the heating process of the matrix portion 13, part of the aerosol generated is axially drawn out through the loose aerosol substrate under suction force, and part of it passes through the airflow channel under suction force, enters the cavity 1331 for collection, and is drawn out through the cavity 1331. In this embodiment, the cavity 1331 extends through the built-in component 133 along its extending direction, providing a low-resistance aerosol flow channel, which can improve the smoothness of inhalation.
[0079] In one embodiment, the built-in member 133 has a cavity 1331 that extends through the built-in member 133 along its extending direction. The sidewalls of the built-in member 133 are airtight and have no openings. In some embodiments, the material of the built-in member 133 may be paper. The shape and size of the outer surface of the built-in member 133 are consistent with the shape and size of the hollow hole, and the built-in member 133 serves to support the hollow hole. The aerosol generated during the heating process of the matrix portion 13 can only be drawn out axially through the loose aerosol substrate under suction force. In this embodiment, the built-in member 133 has a cavity 1331, and while fulfilling its corresponding function, the built-in member 133 is relatively lightweight.
[0080] In one embodiment, the built-in component 133 is made of a porous and breathable material, and the built-in component 133 is adsorbed or filled with a fragrance substance that can generate aerosols when heated.
[0081] In some embodiments, the aroma-generating substance may be liquid, and the built-in component 133 adsorbs the liquid aroma-generating substance. In some embodiments, the aroma-generating substance may be solid, and the built-in component 133 is filled with solid aroma-generating substance. The shape and size of the outer surface of the built-in component 133 are consistent with the shape and size of the hollow hole. The built-in component 133 serves both to support the hollow hole and to adsorb or fill the aroma-generating substance. The built-in component 133 may be a solid structure.
[0082] The built-in component 133 is made of a porous and breathable material, meaning that the material of the built-in component 133 has evenly distributed pores and channels for normal aerosol migration. The material of the built-in component 133 can be natural cellulose, synthetic cellulose, or synthetic polymer materials. When the aroma-producing substance is in a liquid state, the material of the built-in component 133 also needs to have a certain degree of liquid adsorption. When the aroma-producing substance adsorbed or filled in the built-in component 133 volatilizes upon heating, it can either flow out axially and mix with the aerosol generated by the heated aerosol substrate in the cooling section, or it can pass laterally through the aerosol substrate and be adsorbed together with the aerosol generated by the heated aerosol substrate.
[0083] In one embodiment, after the aerosol substrate is placed in the mold, the aerosol substrate in the mold is pressed by a press to obtain a semi-matrix body with a mating surface and a groove. The matrix preparation method provided in this application embodiment further includes: scraping the aerosol substrate in the mold with a scraper to remove the part of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height.
[0084] The preset height is less than or equal to the depth of the receiving groove 311. Referring to Figure 3, in some embodiments, when the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 is leveled by the scraper 5, the scraper 5 can extend into the receiving groove 311. In some embodiments, when the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 is leveled by the scraper 5, the scraper 5 may not extend into the receiving groove 311. The function of the scraper 5 is to scrape off the portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height, so that the height of the aerosol substrate is uniform and reaches the preset height. When the scraper 5 extends into the receiving groove 311, the preset height can be seen as H shown in Figure 3.
[0085] The scraper 5 may include a leveling section 51 and a connecting section 52. The leveling section 51 may be an arc-shaped structure, and the connecting section 52 is connected to a moving component. The moving component is used to drive the connecting section 52 to move along the length direction of the mold 3. When the scraper 5 is not inserted into the receiving groove 311, when the scraper 5 moves, the bottom end of the leveling section 51 moves along the upper surface of the mold body 31, and the upper surface of the leveled aerosol substrate is flush with the upper surface of the mold body 31. The scraper 5 is flexible, which can avoid damage to the surface of the aerosol substrate during the leveling process and reduce wear on the mold 3. In some embodiments, both the leveling section 51 and the connecting section 52 in the scraper 5 are flexible; in some embodiments, the leveling section 51 in the scraper 5 is flexible. The flexible scraper 5 may be made of polyurethane, silicone, etc.
[0086] In some embodiments, the height of the scraper 5 is adjustable. In this scenario, the moving component is connected to a second lifting component, which is used to drive the moving component and the scraper 5 to rise and fall. When the scraper 5 extends into the receiving groove 311, the insertion depth of the scraper 5 can be adjusted to adjust the preset height. By adjusting the preset height, the height of the aerosol substrate to be pressed after being scraped can be adjusted, thereby adjusting the porosity of the pressed semi-matrix body 131 without changing the pressing pressure of the press 4. In some embodiments, the porosity of the semi-matrix body 131 can also be adjusted by adjusting the particle size of the tobacco powder. In this embodiment, by scraping the aerosol substrate in the mold 3, the height of the aerosol substrate to be pressed can be made uniform, thereby making the porosity of the pressed semi-matrix body 131 uniform.
[0087] In one embodiment, referring to Figures 2 to 5, the mold 3 includes a mold body 31, the mold body 31 having a receiving groove 311 for receiving an aerosol substrate, the receiving groove 311 having a top opening and end openings located at both ends in the length direction of the mold 3, the mold 3 also includes a baffle 32 for closing the end openings, the baffle 32 being slidably connected to the mold body 31 along the height direction of the mold 3.
[0088] The aerosol substrate in the mold is leveled by scraping with a scraper to remove the portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height. This includes: sliding and adjusting each baffle so that the distance between the top surface of each baffle and the bottom wall of the receiving groove along the height direction of the mold is the preset height; and leveling the aerosol substrate in the mold by scraping with a scraper to remove the portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height.
[0089] After pressing the aerosol substrate in the mold with a press to obtain a semi-matrix body with a mating surface and a groove, the mating surfaces of two semi-matrix bodies are joined together so that the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies are joined to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole. Before obtaining the matrix part, the matrix part preparation method provided in this application embodiment further includes: moving the press away from the mold by a preset distance, and sliding and adjusting each baffle so that each end opening is at least partially exposed, and taking out the semi-matrix body through the exposed part of the end opening.
[0090] In this embodiment, the orthographic projection of the exposed portion at the end opening along the length of the mold 3 at least covers the orthographic projection of the semi-matrix body 131. The upward movement direction of the press 4 can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow D in FIG5. The preset distance can be set according to actual needs, and is not specifically limited in this embodiment. In some embodiments, after sliding the adjusting baffle 32, the position of the baffle 32 can be locked by a locking mechanism, which can be a spring pin, threaded fastener, etc.
[0091] In some embodiments, when the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 is scraped by the scraper 5, the distance between the top surface of each baffle 32 and the bottom wall of the receiving groove 311 along the height direction of the mold 3 is a preset height. This allows the portion of the aerosol substrate exceeding the preset height to be scraped out of the mold 3, and also prevents the portion of the aerosol substrate not exceeding the preset height from overflowing out of the mold 3. After the other half of the matrix body 131 is pressed, by sliding and adjusting the baffle 32, at least part of each end opening can be exposed, thereby facilitating the removal of the half matrix body 131.
[0092] In one embodiment, after the aerosol substrate is placed in the mold, before scraping the aerosol substrate in the mold with a scraper to remove the portion of the aerosol substrate that exceeds the preset height, the matrix preparation method provided in this application embodiment further includes: applying vibration to the aerosol substrate in the mold by a vibration component.
[0093] The vibration component can be an ultrasonic vibration component, a percussion vibration component, etc. The ultrasonic vibration component applies vibration to the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 based on the principle of ultrasonic vibration, and the percussion vibration component applies vibration to the aerosol substrate in the mold 3 based on the principle of percussion vibration, so as to eliminate large pores in the aerosol substrate to be leveled and improve the uniformity of the aerosol substrate to be leveled.
[0094] In one embodiment, the mating surfaces of two semi-matrix bodies are joined together to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole by the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies, thereby obtaining a matrix portion. This includes: joining the mating surfaces of two semi-matrix bodies to form a circumferentially closed hollow hole by the grooves of the two semi-matrix bodies; wrapping the outer surfaces of the joined two semi-matrix bodies with an outer cladding layer, and cutting them into segments along the extension direction of the semi-matrix bodies to obtain multiple matrix portions.
[0095] The number of segments during segmented cutting can be set according to actual needs, such as two, three, four, five, six, or ten segments. For example, referring to Figure 8, the number of segments during segmented cutting is three. The outer layer 132 can be made of paper, such as natural cellulose paper or synthetic cellulose paper. The length of the outer layer 132 is less than or equal to the length of the semi-matrix body 131. The outer layer 132 can wrap the two joined semi-matrix bodies 131 together, preventing the joint from loosening; furthermore, by segmenting and cutting, multiple matrix parts can be prepared at once, improving the preparation efficiency of the matrix parts.
[0096] The prepared matrix can be processed into aerosol products 1 through filling or roll-up composite processes.
[0097] In one embodiment, referring to FIG8, a matrix portion 13 is provided, which is prepared using the matrix portion preparation method described above. Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the matrix portion 13 includes two opposing semi-matrix bodies 131. Each semi-matrix body 131 has a mating surface 1311 and a groove 1312. The groove 1312 extends through both ends of the semi-matrix body 131 along its extending direction. In the matrix portion 13, the two semi-matrix bodies 131 are fitted together through the mating surface 1311, and the groove 1312 of the two semi-matrix bodies 131 forms a circumferentially closed hollow hole.
[0098] The matrix portion 13 also includes an embedded member 133 located within the hollow pore. In some embodiments, the embedded member 133 is used to support the hollow pore; in some embodiments, the embedded member is used to adsorb aroma-producing substances. The matrix portion 13 also includes an outer coating layer 132 that wraps around the outer surfaces of the two semi-matrix bodies 131.
[0099] In one embodiment, referring to FIG9, an aerosol generating article 1 is provided, including a filter section 11, a cooling section 12 and a matrix section 13 arranged sequentially.
[0100] The cooling section 12 has a hollow channel for aerosols to pass through. When the aerosol generated by the heated matrix section 13 passes through this hollow channel, its temperature is effectively reduced. The filter section 11 is used to filter impurities and particles from the aerosol.
[0101] The aerosol generating article 1 may also include a plug 14, which is disposed at the end of the matrix section 13 away from the cooling section 12. The plug 14 serves two purposes: firstly, it prevents the aerosol substrate in the matrix section 13 from falling out; secondly, it prevents the condensate of the aerosol from contaminating the aerosol generating device 2.
[0102] When the user draws in the aerosol to generate product 1, air enters through the plug 14 and mixes with the aerosol generated by the heating of the matrix 13. The mixed aerosol and air then enter the filter 11 through the hollow channel of the cooling section 12 for filtration. The matrix 13 includes an inner member 133, and the inner member 133 has a cavity 1331. The cavity 1331 extends through the inner member 133 along its extending direction. An airflow channel is provided on the side wall of the inner member 133. When the airflow channel communicates with the cavity 1331, part of the aerosol generated by the heating of the matrix 13 enters the cavity 1331 through the airflow channel and then enters the hollow channel of the cooling section 12.
[0103] In one embodiment, referring to Figures 10 and 11, an aerosol generation system is provided, including an aerosol generation device 2 and an aerosol generation article 1; the aerosol generation device 2 includes a receiving cavity 21 for inserting the aerosol generation article 1 and a heating component 22 for heating the aerosol generation article 1 in the receiving cavity 21.
[0104] The insertion direction of the aerosol generating article 1 into the receiving cavity 21 can be seen in the direction indicated by arrow F in FIG10. The depth of the receiving cavity 21 is greater than or equal to the sum of the lengths of the matrix portion 13 and the plug 14 in the aerosol generating article 1, that is, the receiving cavity 21 is at least used to accommodate the matrix portion 13 and the plug 14 in the aerosol generating article 1. The heating component 22 is a circumferential heating component, and the heating component 22 can be a resistance heating component, a ceramic heating component, an infrared heating component, etc.
