Description

Data transmission methods, systems, devices, media, and software products

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510485368.X, filed on April 16, 2025, entitled “Data Transmission Method, System, Device, Medium and Program Product”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This invention relates to the field of communication technology, specifically to a data transmission method, system, device, medium, and program product. Background Technology

[0003] With the rapid development of electronic devices and internet technology, electronic products are being updated at an increasingly faster pace, and users are replacing their electronic devices more frequently. When replacing old devices with new ones, data such as files, photos, and videos need to be migrated from the old device to the new one. This data migration process is called data cloning, and it can be achieved using cloning applications (such as phone cloning) installed on the electronic device. Similarly, in some data backup and recovery scenarios, it is also necessary to transfer data from one electronic device to another. This data transfer process can be achieved using backup and recovery applications. All of these data transfer processes can be performed using peer-to-peer (P2P) local area network (LAN) technology. P2P transmission can be achieved through wireless local area networks (WLANs), such as wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth (BT), ultra-wide band (UWB), and infrared transmission.

[0004] However, in the aforementioned data transmission scenarios, the data transmission rate may be low and the transmission time long when the amount of data transmitted is large, the relative distance between the electronic devices transmitting data is large, or their relative positions are unfavorable. During the long data transmission process, the power consumption of the electronic devices is high, and they may also generate more heat, leading to a poor user experience.

[0005] Therefore, how to improve data transmission rate and reduce data transmission time is an urgent technical problem to be solved. Summary of the Invention

[0006] This application provides a data transmission method, system, device, medium, and program product that can guide a user to move a second device to a position corresponding to the optimal area of a first device, or guide a user to move a first device to a position corresponding to the optimal area of a second device, so that the data output rate of the first device and the data reception rate of the second device can both be maintained at a large value or reach the maximum value. This can improve the data transmission rate, reduce the data transmission time, thereby helping to reduce the power consumption of various electronic devices, avoid problems such as device overheating, and improve the user experience.

[0007] In a first aspect, this application provides a data transmission method applied to a first device, wherein a first communication connection exists between the first device and a second device; the method includes: outputting first guidance information, wherein the first guidance information is used to instruct the second device to move to a position corresponding to a first area of the first device, wherein the antenna signal strength of the first antenna corresponding to the first area is within a first range, wherein the first antenna is the antenna used by the first device in the first communication connection; detecting that the second device is located at the position corresponding to the first area, and displaying a first interface.

[0008] For example, the first device mentioned above can be a transmitting device in some data transmission scenarios, such as an old device in a cloning scenario, like an old mobile phone or tablet. Correspondingly, the second device mentioned above can be a receiving device in a data transmission scenario, such as a new device in a cloning scenario, like a new mobile phone or tablet. The first communication connection mentioned above can be, for example, a point-to-point communication connection established in a cloning scenario such as mobile phone cloning or tablet cloning, or a wireless fidelity communication connection, Bluetooth communication connection, wireless carrier communication connection, etc., and is not limited here. The first area of the first device mentioned above can be the area with the best signal strength of the first antenna currently used by the first device, that is, the optimal area of the first device.

[0009] Based on this, the data transmission method provided in the first aspect above, namely in data transmission scenarios such as cloning, allows the first device to output the aforementioned first guidance information to guide the user to move the second device to a position corresponding to the optimal area of the first device. When the second device is located in the optimal area (i.e., the aforementioned first area) of the first device, the first device can display a relevant interface (e.g., the aforementioned first interface) to remind the user. In this way, the data output rate of the first device and the data reception rate of the second device can both be kept at a high value or reach their maximum value, thereby improving the data transmission rate, reducing data transmission time, and helping to reduce the power consumption of various electronic devices, avoiding problems such as device overheating, and improving the user experience.

[0010] It is understood that in other embodiments, the second device may also implement the data transmission method provided in the first aspect, that is, the second device may also output the second guidance information to guide the user to move the first device to the position corresponding to the optimal area of the second device, so that the data output rate of the first device and the data reception rate of the second device can both be kept at a large value or reach the maximum value. No limitation is made here.

[0011] It is understood that the above-mentioned method of outputting the first guidance information can be achieved through various means such as interface, voice, vibration, or video. For example, the first device can output the first guidance information by displaying a star icon on the relevant interface. The first device can also output the first guidance information by changing the color of the star icon and displaying relevant prompt text on the relevant interface. There are no restrictions on this.

[0012] In one possible implementation of the first aspect described above, the first region includes a first location where the signal strength of the first antenna is greatest.

[0013] In one possible implementation of the first aspect above, the first antenna signal strength of the first antenna at the first position falls within the first range; and the first antenna signal strength is greater than the second antenna signal strength, which is the antenna signal strength of the first antenna at a position other than the first position on the first device.

[0014] That is, the optimal area (i.e., the first area) of the first device can include the location where the antenna signal strength of the currently used first antenna is the highest, i.e., the aforementioned first location. At other locations within the first device besides this location, the antenna signal strength of the first antenna can be lower than the maximum value. It can be understood that within the first area of the first device, at other locations besides the aforementioned first location, the antenna signal strength of the first antenna can be greater than a relatively large threshold. This relatively large threshold and the aforementioned maximum antenna signal strength value can determine the aforementioned first range.

[0015] Thus, when a user moves the second device to a location corresponding to the first area of the first device, this can include moving the second device to any location close to the first area. In this case, the data transmission rate between the second device and the first device can be better, and the adaptability to different scenarios can be stronger.

[0016] In one possible implementation of the first aspect above, when the second device is located at the position corresponding to the first region, the distance between the first device and the second device is less than a first threshold.

[0017] It is understandable that when the second device is located at the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, it can be considered that the second device is close enough to the first area of the first device, that is, the distance between the first device and the second device is less than the relevant threshold (such as the first threshold mentioned above).

[0018] In one possible implementation of the first aspect above, the first region is determined based on the first installation position of the first antenna; or, the first region is determined based on the signal strength detection result of the first antenna.

[0019] For example, the first device may have multiple antennas. The first device can first determine the optimal area for data transmission using the first antenna (i.e., the aforementioned first installation position) based on the pre-acquired installation position of the first antenna among the various antennas. Alternatively, if the installation positions of the antennas cannot be pre-acquired, the first device can determine the first area by detecting signal strength. In this case, the first area can be formed by multiple locations where the signal strength in the signal strength detection results falls within the aforementioned first range. In other embodiments, after determining the first area based on the installation position of the first antenna, the first device can further calibrate the first area by detecting signal strength to improve the accuracy of determining the first area. This also helps to improve the data transmission efficiency between the first device and the second device.

[0020] In one possible implementation of the first aspect described above, the first guidance information includes a first control.

[0021] In one possible implementation of the first aspect above, the method further includes: detecting a first user operation applied to the first control; displaying a second interface, wherein the second interface includes a signal strength detection result and / or second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result, or the second interface includes third guidance information indicating the first area.

[0022] For example, the first control included in the first guidance information can be a detection control that indicates the determination of the first area by detecting signal strength, such as the detection control 611 displayed on the mobile phone 10 shown in Figure 6 below. In this case, the first guidance information can be the second type of guidance information described below. Correspondingly, the first user operation can be a click operation performed by the user on the detection control, etc. In this case, the first device can display the detected signal strength detection result, and the second interface can be the detection interface 710 displayed on the mobile phone 10 shown in Figure 7 below. The first device can also display second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result, and the second interface can be the detection interface 720 displayed on the mobile phone 20 shown in Figure 7 below. The second guidance information can belong to the second type of guidance information described below.

[0023] In some embodiments, if the first device can directly or quickly determine the first area in response to the first user operation, the second interface displayed by the first device may also include third guidance information indicating the determined first area. In this case, the second interface can be the interface showing the star icon 511 on the mobile phone 10 shown in Figure 5 below. It is understood that the third guidance information can be output in the same way as the first guidance information, and this is not limited here.

[0024] In one possible implementation of the first aspect described above, the first interface includes an interface for cloning the application. Correspondingly, the data transmission scenario to which the above data transmission method is applied may include a cloning scenario, such as a mobile phone cloning or tablet cloning scenario.

[0025] Secondly, this application provides a data transmission method applied to a second device, wherein a first communication connection exists between the second device and a first device; the method includes: outputting fourth guidance information, wherein during the process of the second device moving to a position corresponding to a first region of the first device, the fourth guidance information is used to instruct the first device to move to a position corresponding to a second region of the second device, wherein the antenna signal strength of the first antenna corresponding to the first region is within a first range, and the antenna signal strength of the second antenna corresponding to the second region is within the first range, wherein the first antenna is the antenna used by the first device in the first communication connection, and the second antenna is the antenna used by the second device in the first communication connection; and detecting that the first device is located at the position corresponding to the second region, displaying a third interface.

[0026] For example, the aforementioned second region can be the optimal area for the second antenna currently used by the second device to transmit data. As the user moves the second device to the position corresponding to the first region based on the first guidance information output by the first device, the first device is also moving closer to the position corresponding to the second region relative to the second device. At this time, the fourth guidance information output by the second device, indicating the second region, can indicate whether the first device has moved to the position corresponding to the second region. If the second device detects that the first device is already at the position corresponding to the second region, the second device can display the aforementioned third interface to remind or inform the user.

[0027] In one possible implementation of the second aspect described above, the second region includes the second location where the antenna signal strength of the second antenna is greatest.

[0028] In one possible implementation of the second aspect above, when the first device is located in the second region, or when the second device is located in the location corresponding to the first region and the first device is located in the location corresponding to the second region, the distance between the first device and the second device is less than a first threshold.

[0029] It is understandable that during the process of the second device moving to the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, if the second device is already in the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, the first device can display the first interface to remind or inform the user. Simultaneously, if the first device is already in the position corresponding to the second area of the second device, the second device can also display the third interface to remind the user. At this point, the first device and the second device are in the optimal area of each other, where the distance between them is minimized, and if there are no other interfering factors, the data transmission rate between the first device and the second device can also reach its maximum.

[0030] In one possible implementation of the second aspect above, the second region is determined based on the second installation position of the second antenna; or, the second region is determined based on the signal strength detection result of the second antenna.

[0031] For example, the second device may also have multiple antennas. The aforementioned second area can be determined by the second device based on the second installation location of the second antenna used for the current communication. When the second device cannot obtain the installation locations of each antenna, it can also determine the aforementioned second area by detecting signal strength. Further details are omitted here.

[0032] In one possible implementation of the second aspect described above, the fourth guidance information includes a second control.

[0033] In one possible implementation of the second aspect above, a second user operation acting on the second control is detected; a fourth interface is displayed, wherein the fourth interface includes fifth guidance information indicating that the first device and the second device move relative to each other in a first manner, or the fourth interface includes sixth guidance information indicating the second area.

[0034] For example, the second control included in the fourth guidance information mentioned above can be a detection control that indicates the determination of the second area by detecting signal strength, such as the detection control 621 displayed on the mobile phone 20 shown in Figure 6 below. In this case, the fourth guidance information can be the second type of guidance information described below. Correspondingly, the second user operation mentioned above can be a click operation performed by the user on the detection control, etc. At this time, the second device can display the fifth guidance information mentioned above, guiding the user to control the first device to move around the second device (as an example of the first method mentioned above) or to perform other types of movement, etc. Refer to the detection interface 720 displayed on the mobile phone 20 shown in Figure 7 below.

[0035] In some embodiments, if the second device can directly or quickly determine the first area in response to the second user operation, the fourth interface displayed by the second device may also include sixth guidance information indicating the determined second area. In this case, the second interface can be the interface shown in Figure 5 below where the phone 20 displays the star icon 521. It is understood that the sixth guidance information can be output in the same way as the first guidance information, and this is not limited here.

[0036] In one possible implementation of the second aspect described above, the third interface includes the interface for cloning the application.

[0037] Thirdly, this application provides a data transmission system, including a first device and a second device, wherein a first communication connection exists between the first device and the second device; and the first device is used to output first guidance information, which instructs the second device to move to a position corresponding to a first area of the first device, wherein the antenna signal strength of the first antenna corresponding to the first area is within a first range, wherein the first antenna is the antenna used by the first device in the first communication connection; the second device is used to output fourth guidance information, which instructs the first device to move to a position corresponding to a second area of the second device during the process of the second device moving to the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, wherein the antenna signal strength of the second antenna corresponding to the second area is within the first range, wherein the second antenna is the antenna used by the second device in the first communication connection.

[0038] In one possible implementation of the third aspect described above, the first device is further configured to display a first interface when the second device is detected to be located at the position corresponding to the first region; and the second device is further configured to display a third interface when the first device is detected to be located at the position corresponding to the second region.

[0059] To make the objectives, technical solutions, and advantages of the embodiments of this application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of this application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific implementation methods.

[0060] The method provided in this application can be applied to any electronic device, including but not limited to mobile stations (MS) and mobile terminals (MT). For example, the electronic device can be a mobile phone, wearable device, tablet computer, laptop computer (e.g., a virtual reality (VR) device, augmented reality (AR) device, terminal in self-driving vehicles, terminal in a smart home, etc. This application does not limit the specific form of the electronic device.

[0061] Figure 1 illustrates a data transmission scenario according to an embodiment of this application.

[0062] As shown in Figure 1, this scenario includes an old device, such as mobile phone 10, and a new device, such as mobile phone 20. When a user changes phones, they need to migrate data from mobile phone 10 to mobile phone 20. The data migration process involves data that can include files, photos, and videos, as well as contacts, messages, call logs, memos, etc., which will not be elaborated here. Among them, the aforementioned photo and video data can be managed by a gallery application, and therefore can also be referred to as gallery data in some embodiments.

[0063] In the data transmission scenario shown in Figure 1, the amount of data transferred from phone 10 to phone 20 may exceed 100GM. Furthermore, during data transmission, the relative positions of phone 10 and phone 20 are often arbitrary. For example, if the distance between them is large or their relative orientation is unfavorable, the corresponding data transmission rate will be low, resulting in a longer data transmission time. As mentioned earlier, a longer data transmission time leads to higher power consumption in electronic devices, generating more heat and ultimately resulting in a poor user experience. Therefore, improving the data transmission rate and reducing the data transmission time are urgent technical problems that need to be solved.

[0064] To address the aforementioned issues, this application provides a data transmission method. Before data transmission begins, the optimal signal strength (e.g., maximum signal strength) is determined on at least two electronic devices that need to transmit data; that is, the optimal area for outputting or receiving data is determined first. For the transmitting device (referred to as the first device), the data output rate at the location corresponding to the optimal area (hereinafter referred to as the first area) of the first device can reach a maximum value or exceed a large threshold. For the receiving device (referred to as the second device), the data reception rate at the optimal area (hereinafter referred to as the second area) of the second device can also reach a maximum value or exceed a large threshold. Based on this, the first or second device can output guidance information indicating the determined optimal area, guiding the user to move the second device to the location corresponding to the first device's first area, or guiding the user to move the first device to the location corresponding to the second device's second area, so that the data output rate of the first device and the data reception rate of the second device can both remain at a large value or reach their maximum value. This improves the data transmission rate, reduces the data transmission time, and consequently helps reduce the power consumption of each electronic device, avoids problems such as device overheating, and improves the user experience.

[0065] In some embodiments, the guidance information indicating the optimal area described above can also be used to guide the second device to a position corresponding to the first device's first area when the distance between them is small, or to guide the first device to a position corresponding to the second device's second area when the distance between them is small, for example, when the distance is less than a relevant threshold (e.g., a first threshold). In this way, the first device and the second device can efficiently transmit data over a shorter distance.

[0066] Taking the first device as an example, the determination of the first region can be based on the installation position of the antenna preset by the first device. Similarly, the second region of the second device can also be determined based on the installation position of the antenna preset by the second device. As an example, both the first and second devices are mobile phones. A mobile phone can have multiple antennas. When data needs to be transmitted between the first and second devices, the first device can establish a communication connection with the second device based on the first antenna. The first antenna can be any one of the multiple antennas of the first device. At this time, the second device can use the second antenna among the multiple antennas. In this case, the first device can determine the first region based on the installation position (e.g., coordinates and other relevant data) of the first antenna among the pre-acquired antennas; the second device can determine the second region based on the installation position of the second antenna among the pre-acquired antennas.

[0067] It is understood that a first device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 10, can be configured with multiple antennas. The installation positions of each antenna can be set at locations such as the top, side, and bottom of the mobile phone 10, depending on actual communication needs. The antenna signal strength is relatively high near each installation position (e.g., within a first range), and correspondingly, the data transmission rate in that vicinity can also reach the optimal transmission rate. Therefore, the first device can determine a first region based on the installation position with high signal strength. The signal strength at this installation position can be the maximum value or greater than a certain higher threshold, or the average signal strength within a certain range near the installation position can be greater than a certain higher threshold, etc. Similarly, a second device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 20, can also be configured with multiple antennas, and the signal strength near the installation positions of each antenna is also relatively high. Therefore, the aforementioned second region can also be determined based on the antenna installation positions, which will not be elaborated here.

[0068] When the second device is located in the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, the distance between the first device and the second device can be less than the aforementioned first threshold. It is understood that the antenna in the first area of the first device can be the antenna used by the first device and the second device to establish the aforementioned communication connection, such as the aforementioned first antenna. The antenna in the second area of the second device can be the second antenna used by the second device. When the first device is located in the position corresponding to the second area of the second device, the distance between the first device and the second device can also be less than the aforementioned first threshold. In this case, the first device and the second device can be placed on the same plane with the first area and the second area close to each other, as illustrated in Figure 5(b) below, showing the placement of mobile phone 10 and mobile phone 20. In other embodiments, the first device and the second device can also be placed on different planes with the first area and the second area close to each other, for example, the first device and the second device can be stacked vertically, etc., without limitation. Thus, the distance between the first device and the second device is smaller, and the data transmission rate can be increased.

[0069] In some embodiments, when the mobile phone does not obtain data related to the installation locations of each antenna, it can also detect locations with high current communication signal strength by calling algorithms or modules with signal strength detection functions. The signal strength at this location can be the maximum value or a value greater than a large threshold, and the aforementioned first region or second region can be determined based on this location. The aforementioned signal strength can refer to the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and the magnitude of the signal strength is the value of the RSSI, measured in decibels per milliwatt (dBmW, abbreviated as dBm).

[0070] In other embodiments, when the mobile phone acquires data related to the installation positions of each antenna, it can also determine the optimal area based on the installation positions of the current communication antennas, and then adjust the determined optimal area by detecting locations with higher signal strength of the current communication signal, thereby improving the accuracy of determining the optimal area. Furthermore, the methods for determining the first or second area described above may also include other methods, which are not limited here.

[0071] It is understood that the aforementioned at least two electronic devices that need to transmit data may include the first and second devices mentioned above in this application embodiment, and may include three or more electronic devices in other embodiments, without limitation. In scenarios where three or more electronic devices transmit data to each other, any two electronic devices can transmit data to each other, wherein the electronic device as the sending end can be the first device, and the electronic device as the receiving end can be the second device, without limitation.

[0072] It is understood that the aforementioned algorithm or module with signal strength detection function can be a pre-set callable algorithm or software module in the operating system of the first or second device, which can be called a signal detection module. In some embodiments, this module can be set in the application framework layer (hereinafter referred to as the framework layer) or system service layer of the operating system, etc., without limitation. The operating system of the first or second device can also be equipped with an algorithm or software module that can determine the first or second region based on the antenna position or the location with higher signal strength, which can be called a region determination module. The operating system of the first or second device can also be equipped with a functional module that can control the display of a guidance interface based on the determined first or second region, which can be called an interface guidance module. The guidance interface can be used to guide the user to move the optimal areas of the electronic devices transmitting data closer to each other, for example, moving the second device to the position corresponding to the first region of the first device, or moving the first device to the position corresponding to the second region of the second device. Specifically, the settings of the interface guidance module, signal detection module, and region determination module in the operating system of the aforementioned mobile phone or other electronic device will be described in detail below with reference to the relevant accompanying drawings.

[0073] Based on the data transmission scenario shown in Figure 1 above, the specific implementation of the data transmission method provided in this application will be described in detail below, in conjunction with flowcharts and related interface diagrams.

[0074] It should also be stated that the steps in the methods and processes in this application are numbered for ease of reference, not to limit the order of steps. If there is an order between the steps, the textual description shall prevail.

[0075] Figure 2 illustrates a schematic diagram of the implementation process of a data transmission method according to an embodiment of this application.

[0076] It is understood that in this embodiment of the application, the execution entities of S201 to S205 in the process shown in FIG2 can all be either the first device or the second device, wherein the first device is the data sending end device, such as the mobile phone 10 mentioned above, and the second device is the data receiving end device, such as the mobile phone 20 mentioned above. To avoid repetition, the execution entities of S202 to S205 will not be described again when introducing the relevant steps of the process shown in FIG2 below.

[0077] Specifically, as shown in Figure 2, the implementation process may include:

[0078] S201: A first communication connection exists between the first device and the second device, and the first communication connection is used for data transmission.

[0079] For example, the first device can be mobile phone 10 in the data transmission scenario shown in Figure 1, i.e., the sending device. The second device can be mobile phone 20 in the data transmission scenario shown in Figure 1, i.e., the receiving device. In a data cloning scenario, mobile phone 10 can be the old device as the sending end, i.e., the first device; mobile phone 20 can be the new device as the receiving end, i.e., the second device. In other data transmission scenarios, such as data backup and recovery scenarios, mobile phone 10 can still be the first device as the sending end, and mobile phone 20 can still be the second device as the receiving end; there are no restrictions here.

[0080] The first communication connection established between the first device and the second device can be initiated by either the first device or the second device. In this embodiment, the first communication connection may include a communication connection established based on P2P transmission technology, such as a communication connection established through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, and infrared technologies. This communication connection can be applied to data cloning scenarios or other data transmission scenarios, and is not limited herein.

[0081] As an example, taking mobile phone 10 as an example, referring to Figure 3a, the "System and Updates" settings interface 310 displayed on mobile phone 10 includes a "Phone Clone" option 311 and a "Backup and Restore" option 312. Mobile phone 10 can respond to the user's selection of the "Phone Clone" option 311 and display the phone cloning interface 320 shown in Figure 3b. Similarly, mobile phone 10 can also respond to the user's selection of the "Backup and Restore" option 312 on the settings interface 310 shown in Figure 3a and display the corresponding backup and restore interface, without limitation.

[0082] Referring again to Figure 3b, the phone cloning interface 320 displayed on phone 10 may include a new device option 321 and an old device option 322. The new device option 321 may display prompts such as "This is a new device" and "Receive data," while the old device option 322 may display prompts such as "This is an old device" and "Send data." In some embodiments, the phone cloning interface 320 may also include prompts such as "Quickly migrate contacts, photos, calendar events, and other data to the new device." Users can click the old device option 322 to set phone 10 as the old device for sending data, i.e., as the first device to send data. Similarly, for phone 20, in response to user operations, a similar interface to the examples shown in Figures 3a to 3b can be displayed, and users can click the new device option on a similar interface to the phone cloning interface 320 shown in Figure 3b to set phone 20 as the new device for receiving data, i.e., as the second device to receive data.

[0083] Correspondingly, in response to the user's operation of setting up the old or new device, the old device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 10, can display the scanning interface 410 shown in Figure 4, and the new device, such as mobile phone 20, can display the connection interface 420 shown in Figure 4. The data transmission direction is from mobile phone 10 to mobile phone 20. As shown in Figure 4, the scanning interface 410 displayed on mobile phone 10 can display prompts such as "Scan QR code" and "Please open 'Phone Clone' on the new device and select 'This is a new device' to obtain the hotspot QR code." Below the scanning box 411 on the scanning interface 410, a "Manual Connection" control 412 and prompts such as "If the connection fails, please try manual connection" can also be displayed for the user to choose from. Referring to Figure 4, the connection interface 420 displayed on the mobile phone 20 can show a hotspot QR code 421 for the old device to scan. Correspondingly, the connection interface 420 can also display prompts such as "Use the 'Mobile Cloning' function of the old device to scan the QR code above. If you cannot connect, please click 'Manual Connection' at the bottom of the old device's scanning interface to connect to the following WLAN:", and display the account information 422 of the available WLAN. This account information can include the WLAN name, such as "SHOUJIKELONG", and the access key, such as "123456789", etc., without any restrictions.

[0084] Referring to Figure 4, the user holds up the mobile phone 10 and scans the QR code 411 on the scanning interface 410 with the hotspot QR code 421 displayed on the mobile phone 20 to scan the code and confirm the connection. The old device, the mobile phone 10, can then establish the first communication connection with the new device, the mobile phone 20.

[0085] S202: When the optimal area can be determined based on the antenna's installation location, output first-type guidance information indicating the optimal area.

[0086] For example, if the first or second device can determine an optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, it can output first-type guidance information indicating the optimal area. Both the transmitting and receiving ends performing data transmission can have an optimal area for data transmission, where the signal strength at the location corresponding to the optimal area can reach a maximum value or a large value exceeding a certain threshold. Based on this, the first device can first determine whether it can determine the first area (i.e., the first device's optimal area) based on the antenna's installation location, and then, if it can determine the optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, output the first-type guidance information. Similarly, the second device can first determine whether it can determine the second area (i.e., the first device's optimal area) based on the antenna's installation location, and then, if it can determine the optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, output the first-type guidance information.

[0087] Taking a mobile phone as an example, the installation positions of each antenna of mobile phone 10 can be set before leaving the factory. The coordinates and other related data corresponding to these installation positions can be pre-stored in the phone. At this time, the phone can determine a first region based on the pre-acquired installation positions of each antenna. Then, mobile phone 10 can output a first type of guidance information indicating the first region. This first type of guidance information can be used to indicate the first region and instruct the user to move mobile phone 20 to the position corresponding to the first region. Similarly, the coordinates and other related data corresponding to the installation positions of each antenna of mobile phone 10 can be pre-stored in the phone. At this time, the phone can determine a second region based on the pre-acquired installation positions of each antenna. Then, mobile phone 20 can output a second type of guidance information indicating the second region. This second type of guidance information can indicate the second region and instruct the user to move mobile phone 10 to the position corresponding to the second region.

[0088] It is understandable that if the coordinates and other relevant data corresponding to the installation positions of each antenna of mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 are not stored in the mobile phone, then the mobile phone cannot obtain the installation positions of each antenna, and therefore cannot execute the above-mentioned S202 to determine the optimal area based on the installation positions of the antennas. At this time, mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 can execute the following S203, outputting a second type of guidance information indicating the detection signal strength. Unlike the first type of guidance information, the second type of guidance information is guidance information for detecting the above-mentioned optimal area. For example, the second type of guidance information can prompt the user to detect the above-mentioned optimal area by detecting the signal strength. In some embodiments, both the first device and the second device can determine the optimal area based on the installation positions of the antennas.

[0089] In other embodiments, one of the first device or the second device can determine the optimal area based on the antenna's mounting location, while the other cannot. For example, the first device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 10, can determine the optimal area (i.e., the first area) based on the antenna's mounting location, while the second device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 20, cannot determine the optimal area (i.e., the second area) based on the antenna's mounting location. In this case, mobile phone 10 can execute S202 to output first-type guidance information, while mobile phone 20 can execute S203 to output second-type guidance information. As another example, the first device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 10, cannot determine the first area based on the antenna's mounting location, while the second device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 20, can determine the second area based on the antenna's mounting location. In this case, mobile phone 20 can execute S202 to output first-type guidance information, while mobile phone 10 can execute S203 to output second-type guidance information. No limitations are imposed here.

[0090] The specific implementation process of the first or second device determining the optimal area based on the pre-acquired antenna installation position will be described in detail below with reference to the relevant accompanying drawings, and will not be repeated here.

[0091] The first type of guidance information described above will be illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0092] Referring to Figure 5(a), one or more of mobile phones 10 or 20 can display the first type of guidance information mentioned above.

[0093] As an example, the first type of guidance information displayed on the mobile phone 10 may include a star icon 510 displayed on the screen of the mobile phone 10. The star icon 510 can indicate the optimal area for the mobile phone 10 to send data, i.e., the aforementioned first area. The user can move the mobile phone 20 to the position corresponding to the second area of the mobile phone 10 according to the indication of the star icon 510, i.e., as shown in Figure 5(b). When the mobile phone 20 is correctly positioned as shown in Figure 5(b), a star icon 511 can be displayed on the mobile phone 10 to remind the user that the mobile phone 20 has been moved to the optimal area of the mobile phone 10. In some embodiments, the mobile phone 10 may also display related prompts or other content, which is not limited here.

[0094] As another example, the first type of guidance information displayed on the mobile phone 20 may include a star icon 520 displayed on the screen of the mobile phone 20. The star icon 520 can indicate the optimal area for the mobile phone 20 to receive data, namely the second area mentioned above. The user can move the mobile phone 10 to the position corresponding to the second area of the mobile phone 20 according to the indication of the star icon 520, that is, place it as shown in Figure 5(b). When the mobile phone 10 is correctly placed as shown in Figure 5(b), a star icon 521 can be displayed on the mobile phone 20 to remind the user that the mobile phone 10 has been moved to the optimal area of the mobile phone 20. In some embodiments, the mobile phone 20 may also display relevant prompts or other content, which is not limited here.

[0095] In other embodiments, the first device and the second device may also be stacked vertically, with the first area and the second area close together, so that the second device is located in the position corresponding to the first area, and / or the first device is located in the position corresponding to the second area. For the aforementioned mobile phone 10 and mobile phone 20, the vertical stacking arrangement could be such that mobile phone 10 is placed on top of mobile phone 20, and the first area indicated by the star icon 511 displayed on mobile phone 10 is above the second area indicated by the star icon 521 displayed on mobile phone 20. Alternatively, the vertical stacking arrangement could also be such that mobile phone 20 is placed on top of mobile phone 10, and the second area indicated by the star icon 521 displayed on mobile phone 20 is above the first area indicated by the star icon 511 displayed on mobile phone 10. This application does not impose any limitations on this arrangement.

[0096] It is understood that in other embodiments, the first type of guidance information displayed by mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 may also take other forms different from the star mark, including but not limited to one or more combinations of output forms such as pictures, voice, vibration, and video. For example, displaying other shaped marks in the above-mentioned optimal area, or displaying a graphics interchange format (GIF) image in the above-mentioned optimal area, or displaying an image and playing voice prompts, etc., without limitation.

[0097] In some embodiments, when the first device or the second device outputs the aforementioned first type of guidance information, if the first device or the second device is already located in the optimal area of the peer device, the following steps S204 to S205 may not be executed. At this time, the first device may display the star icon 511 and / or related prompting text shown in Figure 5(b), or the first device may also display the interface 610 shown in Figure 6 below, etc. Similarly, the second device may also display the star icon 521 and / or related prompting text shown in Figure 5(b), or the second device may also display the interface 620 shown in Figure 6 below, etc., without limitation.

[0098] S203: When the optimal area cannot be determined based on the antenna's installation location, output a second type of guidance information indicating the strength of the detected signal.

[0099] For example, if the first or second device cannot determine the optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, it can output a second type of guidance information indicating the detection signal strength. The first device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 10, can display the second type of guidance information to instruct the user to perform signal strength detection operations when it cannot determine the first area based on the antenna's installation location; that is, it outputs the second type of guidance information indicating signal strength detection. Similarly, the second device, such as mobile phone 20, can also display the second type of guidance information to instruct the user to perform signal strength detection operations when it cannot determine the second area based on the antenna's installation location; that is, it outputs the second type of guidance information indicating signal strength detection. It is understood that if neither the first nor the second device can determine the optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, both the first and second devices can output the aforementioned second type of guidance information, without limitation.

[0100] In some embodiments, even if the first or second device can determine the optimal area based on the antenna's installation location, it can also display the second guidance information and determine the optimal area more accurately by means of signal strength detection.

[0101] In this embodiment, the second type of guidance information can be used to prompt the user to determine the optimal area of the first or second device by detecting signal strength. In other embodiments, the second type of guidance information can also be used to prompt the user to determine the optimal area by other means, and no limitation is made here.

[0102] Referring to Figure 6, one or more people on mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 can display the second type of guidance information mentioned above.

[0103] As an example, the second type of guidance information displayed by the mobile phone 10 may include information provided by the detection control 611 in the "Select Data" interface 610, such as the prompt text on the detection control 611, "Click here to detect the best area for data transmission." That is, the aforementioned detection control 611 can be used to prompt the user to determine the best area of the mobile phone 10, i.e., the aforementioned first area, by detecting the signal strength.

[0104] As another example, the second type of guidance information displayed by mobile phone 20 may include the detection control 621 in the "Connection Successful" interface 620 displayed by mobile phone 20. The detection control may also display prompt text such as "Click here to detect the best area for data transmission". That is, the "Connection Successful" interface 620 mentioned above can also be used to prompt the user to determine the best area of mobile phone 20, i.e., the second area mentioned above, by detecting the signal strength.

[0105] When the mobile phone 10 cannot determine the first region based on the antenna's installation location, it can display the "Select Data" interface 610 and the detection control 611 shown in FIG. 6. In some embodiments, when the mobile phone 10 (an example of a first device) establishes the first communication connection with the mobile phone 20 (an example of a second device) in the above-described S201, it may also skip the above-described S202 or S203 process and directly display the "Select Data" interface 610 and the detection control 611 shown in FIG. 6; this is not a limitation.

[0106] Similarly, if the mobile phone 20 cannot determine the second region based on the antenna's installation location when executing the above-described S203, it can display the "Connection Successful" interface 620 and detection control 621 shown in FIG. 6. In some embodiments, when the mobile phone 20 (an example of a second device) establishes the first communication connection with the mobile phone 10 (an example of a first device) by executing the above-described S201, it may also skip the above-described S202 or S203 process and directly display the "Connection Successful" interface 620 and detection control 621 shown in FIG. 6; this is not a limitation.

[0107] It is understood that in other embodiments, the second type of guidance information displayed by mobile phones 10 and 20 may also take other forms different from the detection controls described above, including but not limited to one or more combinations of output forms such as images, voice, vibration, and video. For example, a detection control or an icon indicating signal strength detection may be displayed in the upper right corner of the "Select Data" interface 610 or the "Connection Successful" interface 620 shown in Figure 6 above. No limitation is made here.

[0108] In some embodiments of this application, when the optimal area can be determined based on the antenna's installation location, the first type of guidance information output by the first device during S202 can be referred to as the first guidance information. When the optimal area cannot be determined based on the antenna's installation location, the first guidance information output by the first device may also include the second type of guidance information output during S203, such as the detection control 611 shown in FIG. 6. Similarly, the second device may output the first guidance information whether or not the optimal area can be determined based on the antenna's installation location.

[0109] S204: User operation on the first device or the second device was detected.

[0110] For example, corresponding to the first type of guidance information being displayed on the first device, the operation may include the user moving the second device to a position corresponding to the first area of the first device. In some embodiments, this operation may also be described as "approaching," that is, the second device moving closer to the first device until it is located at the position corresponding to the first area. As another example, corresponding to the first type of guidance information being displayed on the second device, the operation may also include the user moving the first device to a position corresponding to the second area of the second device.

[0111] As an example, corresponding to the first device displaying the aforementioned second type of guidance information, the above operation may include the user's operation on the relevant control (e.g., the first control) indicating the aforementioned second type of guidance information on the relevant interface displayed on the first device, such as the operation performed on the detection control 611 shown in FIG. 6. In some embodiments, the above operation on the first control may be referred to as a first user operation. As another example, corresponding to the second device displaying the aforementioned second type of guidance information, the above operation may include the user's operation on the relevant control (e.g., the second control) indicating the aforementioned second type of guidance information on the relevant interface displayed on the second device, such as the operation performed on the detection control 621 shown in FIG. 6. In some embodiments, the above operation on the second control may also be referred to as a second user operation, and this is not limited thereto.

[0112] S205: Displays the response interface corresponding to the operation.

[0113] For example, the user's operation on the first type of guidance information may include moving the area indicated by the star icon 510 displayed on the mobile phone 10 closer to the area indicated by the star icon 520 displayed on the mobile phone 20, as shown in FIG. 5, or it may include moving the area indicated by the star icon 520 displayed on the mobile phone 20 closer to the area indicated by the star icon 510 displayed on the mobile phone 10, etc. Correspondingly, the operation response interface related to the first type of guidance information displayed by the first device, such as the mobile phone 10, can refer to the interface displaying the star icon 511 shown in FIG. 5(b). The operation response interface related to the first type of guidance information displayed by the second device, such as the mobile phone 20, can refer to the interface displaying the star icon 521 shown in FIG. 5(b).

[0114] The user's operation on the first device can include the user clicking the detection control 611 on the "Select Data" interface 610 shown in Figure 6. Correspondingly, the operation response interface of the first user operation displayed on the first device, such as the mobile phone 10, can be seen in the detection interface 710 displayed on the mobile phone 10 shown in Figure 7. This detection interface 710 can display prompts such as "Signal Strength Detection" and animations or dynamic pie charts indicating "Detection in progress." Furthermore, during the signal strength detection process, the detection interface 710 can display the real-time signal strength 711, such as "Current Signal Strength: -XXdBm."

[0115] Referring again to Figure 7, in some embodiments, the detection interface 710 displayed on the mobile phone 10 may also display an exit control 712. The exit control 712 may display prompt text such as "Click here to exit detection". In response to the user clicking the exit control 712, the mobile phone 10 can exit the current detection interface 710 and return to display the "Select Data" interface 610 shown in Figure 6 above or other related interfaces.

[0116] In other embodiments, the user's operation on the second device may also include the user clicking the detection control 621 on the "Connection Successful" interface 620 shown in Figure 6. Correspondingly, the operation response interface of the second user operation displayed on the second device, such as the mobile phone 20, can refer to the detection interface 720 displayed on the mobile phone 20 shown in Figure 7. The detection interface 720 may display a guide image 721, and may also display prompt text corresponding to the guide image 721, such as "Please use the old device to circle the new device N times (N≥1)" to guide the user to perform signal strength detection. In other embodiments, the guide image 721 may also be a GIF image or a guide animation, etc., without limitation.

[0117] Referring to Figure 7, the detection interface 720 displayed on the mobile phone 20 can also display an exit control 722. In response to the user's click on the exit control 722, the mobile phone 20 can exit the current detection interface 720 and return to the "Connection Successful" interface 620 shown in Figure 6 above or other related interfaces. No restrictions are imposed here.

[0118] It is understandable that mobile phone 10 can also display the detection interface 720 shown in Figure 7 in response to the first user's operation, and mobile phone 20 can also display the detection interface 720 shown in Figure 7 in response to the second user's operation; no restrictions are imposed here.

[0119] It is understandable that after phone 10 displays the aforementioned detection interface 710 and completes the signal strength detection, the area containing the maximum detected signal strength can be taken as the optimal area of phone 10, i.e., the aforementioned first area. Similarly, after phone 20 displays the aforementioned detection interface 720, if it detects that the user has completed the detour operation according to the aforementioned guide image 721, the area containing the maximum detected signal strength can be determined as the optimal area of phone 20, i.e., the aforementioned second area. When phone 10 or phone 20 determines the optimal area based on the signal strength detection results, it can remind the user through prompts such as screen flashing or vibration. At this time, phone 10 is located at the position corresponding to the second area of phone 20, and phone 20 is located at the position corresponding to the first area of phone 10. The distance between phone 10 and phone 20 at this position can be minimized or lower than the aforementioned first threshold.

[0120] In other embodiments, after mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 determines the optimal area based on the signal strength detection results, it can also remind the user through other prompts, such as using the first type of guidance information prompts such as star 510 or star 520 as shown in Figure 5 above to indicate the currently determined optimal area, etc., without limitation.

[0121] It is understood that the process of determining the optimal area based on the antenna installation position involved in S202 above can be implemented by a relevant functional module in the operating system of mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20, which can be the aforementioned area determination module. The process of outputting the first type of guidance information involved in S202 above can be implemented by a relevant functional module in the operating system of mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20, which can be the aforementioned interface guidance module. The process of detecting the signal strength indicated by the second type of guidance information involved in S203 above can be implemented by a relevant functional module in the operating system of mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20, which can be the aforementioned signal detection module.

[0122] Figure 8 illustrates a schematic diagram of the data transmission relationship between the functional modules implementing the data transmission method according to an embodiment of this application.

[0123] As shown in Figure 8, in this embodiment, the area determination module 810 can send the optimal area-related data determined based on the antenna installation location or the signal strength detection results to the interface guidance module 820. Specifically, when the area determination module 810 determines that the antenna installation location cannot be obtained, i.e., the optimal area cannot be determined based on the antenna installation location, it can call the signal detection module 830 to detect the signal strength, such as the RSSI value.

[0124] The interface guidance module 820 can, based on the acquired optimal area, call relevant system resources to draw and render a relevant interface containing relevant guidance information (such as the first type of guidance information mentioned above) and display it. In some embodiments of this application, the interface guidance module 820 can control the display of the relevant interface while also controlling the generation of relevant voice guidance information or vibration guidance information, etc., as the first type of guidance information indicating the acquired optimal area.

[0125] The signal detection module 830 can respond to the call of the area determination module 810, detect the signal strength of the antenna used for current communication of the mobile phone, and send the signal strength detection results, such as RSSI value and other relevant data, to the area determination module 810 for determining the optimal area.

[0126] In some embodiments, the signal detection module 830 may also send the signal strength detection result to the interface guidance module 820, which will then generate first-type guidance information indicating the region with the strongest received signal (i.e., the optimal region) based on the signal strength detection result and output it to the user. No limitation is imposed here.

[0127] Based on the data transmission relationship shown in Figure 8 above, the following section, in conjunction with relevant flowcharts, details the specific implementation of the process involved in S202, which determines the optimal area based on the pre-acquired antenna installation position, and the specific implementation of the signal strength detection process triggered by the operation of the detection control on the interface displaying the second type of guidance information, as involved in S204 above.

[0128] Figure 9 illustrates a schematic diagram of an implementation process for determining the optimal area based on a pre-acquired antenna installation location, according to an embodiment of this application.

[0129] It is understood that the execution entities of S901 to S904 in the process shown in Figure 9 can all be either the first device or the second device. The first device is the data sending end device, such as the mobile phone 10 mentioned above, and the second device is the data receiving end device, such as the mobile phone 20 mentioned above. To avoid repetition, the execution entities of S901 to S904 will not be described again when introducing the relevant steps of the process shown in Figure 9 below.

[0130] As shown in Figure 9, the implementation process may include:

[0131] S901: A first communication connection exists between the first device and the second device.

[0132] The execution content of S901 is the same as that of S201 above, and can be referred to the relevant description in S201 above, which will not be repeated here.

[0133] S902: Pre-determine the installation location of each antenna.

[0134] For example, the first device, such as the mobile phone 10 described above, can be equipped with multiple antennas. The installation positions of each antenna can be set at the top, side, and bottom of the mobile phone 10 according to actual communication needs. The antenna signal strength near the installation position of each antenna (e.g., within a second range) is relatively high, for example, it can reach the maximum signal strength, and correspondingly, the data transmission rate near that position can also reach the maximum transmission rate. Therefore, the mobile phone 10 can determine the optimal area, i.e., the first area of the first device, based on the installation position of the antenna currently used for communication (e.g., the first antenna). The signal strength of the antenna at the installation position can be the maximum value or greater than a certain higher threshold, or the average signal strength within a certain range near the installation position (e.g., the second range described above) can be greater than a certain higher threshold, etc. The second range described above can correspond to the determined first area of the first device. For example, the coverage area of the first area can include the second range described above, or the coverage area of the first area can be smaller than the second range described above, without limitation.

[0135] Similarly, the second device, such as the aforementioned mobile phone 20, can also be equipped with multiple antennas, with the signal strength near the installation location of each antenna being relatively high. Therefore, the mobile phone 20 can also determine the aforementioned optimal area, i.e., the second area of the aforementioned second device, based on the installation location of the antenna used for current communication (e.g., the second antenna), which will not be elaborated upon here.

[0136] It is understood that if the first or second device has obtained the installation position of each antenna in advance, it can continue to execute S903 to S904 below.

[0137] In other embodiments, if the first or second device has not pre-obtained the installation positions of each antenna, for example, has not stored the coordinates or other relevant data corresponding to the installation positions of each antenna, the first or second device can call the signal detection module to perform signal strength detection. This signal detection module can be referred to in the relevant description of the signal detection module 830 shown in Figure 8 above, and the corresponding signal strength detection process can be referred to in the process described in S104 to S106 or S104 to S109 shown in Figure 10 below, which will not be elaborated here.

[0138] S903: Identify the operating antenna used in the current first communication connection.

[0139] For example, the first device or the second device can determine the antenna currently used for the first communication connection, i.e., the currently operating antenna, from a plurality of pre-installed antennas. In some embodiments, the operating antenna can also be described as the first antenna, which can be any antenna among a plurality of antennas in the first device or the second device, including antennas supporting wireless communications such as 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G / 5.5G / 6G.

[0140] S904: Determine the optimal area based on the installation location of the working antenna.

[0141] For example, after determining the current operating antenna, the first or second device can determine an optimal area based on the installation location corresponding to the operating antenna. For instance, the optimal location corresponding to the optimal area can be the installation location of the operating antenna, and the optimal direction corresponding to the optimal area can be the direction indicated by the transmitting or receiving end of the operating antenna, without limitation.

[0142] Figure 10 illustrates a schematic diagram of an implementation process for determining the optimal region based on signal detection results, according to an embodiment of this application.

[0143] It is understood that the execution entities of S101 to S109 in the process shown in Figure 10 can all be either the first device or the second device. The first device is the data sending end device, such as the mobile phone 10 mentioned above, and the second device is the data receiving end device, such as the mobile phone 20 mentioned above. To avoid repetition, the execution entities of S101 to S109 will not be described again when introducing the relevant steps of the process shown in the figure below.

[0144] As shown in Figure 10, the implementation process may include:

[0145] S101: A first communication connection exists between the first device and the second device.

[0146] The execution content of S101 is the same as that of S201 above, and can be referred to the relevant description in S201 above, which will not be repeated here.

[0147] S102: It has been determined that the installation location of each antenna cannot be obtained.

[0148] If the first device or the second device has not obtained the installation position of each antenna in advance, such as not storing the coordinates and other relevant data corresponding to the installation position of each antenna, the first device or the second device can call the signal detection module to perform signal strength detection, that is, execute the following S103.

[0149] S103: Call the signal detection module to perform signal strength detection.

[0150] For example, if the first or second device cannot obtain the installation location of each antenna, it can call the signal detection module to perform signal detection. Referring to Figure 8 above, in the first device, such as mobile phone 10, the signal detection module 830 can be called through the area determination module 810. The signal detection result obtained by the signal detection module 830 can be sent to the area determination module 810 to determine the optimal area, i.e., the first area of the first device. The relevant information of the first area determined by detection can also be provided to the interface guidance module 820 to generate first-type guidance information corresponding to the area with the highest signal strength, etc., without limitation. Similarly, in the second device, such as mobile phone 20, the signal detection module 830 can also be called through the area determination module 810 to detect the second area.

[0151] It is understood that in some embodiments, before executing S103, the first or second device may first execute the operation in S204 where the user is detected acting on the relevant control on the interface displaying the second type of guidance information. Referring to S204, the operation of the first control acting on the relevant interface of the first device can be the first user operation. For example, referring to FIG6, the first user operation may include the user clicking the detection control 611 on the "Select Data" interface 610. Correspondingly, the first device, such as mobile phone 10, can respond to the first user operation and display the detection interface 710 displayed by mobile phone 10 as shown in FIG7. The operation of the second control acting on the relevant interface of the second device can be the second user operation. For example, the second user operation may include the user clicking the detection control 621 on the "Connection Successful" interface 620 shown in FIG6. Correspondingly, the second device, such as mobile phone 20, can respond to the second user operation and display the detection interface 720 displayed by mobile phone 20 as shown in FIG7.

[0152] For details on the specific operations and the content of the operation response interface, please refer to the relevant descriptions and interface diagrams in S204 above, which will not be repeated here.

[0153] S104: Output signal strength detection result and / or second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result.

[0154] For example, the first device can output the detected signal strength result, while the second device can output second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result. This second guidance information can guide the user to continue moving the first or second device if the detected signal strength does not reach the aforementioned first range, or it can guide the user to stop moving the first or second device if the detected signal strength reaches the aforementioned first range. In other embodiments, the second device may output the detected signal strength result, while the first device outputs the corresponding second guidance information; this is not limited to this.

[0155] As an example, referring to Figure 7 above, the signal strength detection result output by the first device, such as mobile phone 10, may include an animation or dynamic pie chart indicating "Detecting" in the detection interface 710, as well as a numerical value indicating "Current Signal Strength". Continuing to refer to Figure 7 above, the second guidance information output by the second device, such as mobile phone 20, corresponding to the signal strength detection result may include a guidance image 721 in the detection interface 720 and prompting text such as "Please use the old device to circle the new device N times (N≥1)".

[0156] In some embodiments, the first device may output the detected signal strength detection result, while the second device may not output the second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result. In other embodiments, the first device may not output the detected signal strength detection result, while the second device outputs the second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result, and so on, without limitation.

[0157] In other embodiments, the guidance information in the first form described above may also be in other forms than the interface content displayed by the mobile phone 10 or mobile phone 20 shown in FIG7, and no limitation is made here.

[0158] S105: When one or more of the first or second devices move to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, determine the optimal area.

[0159] For example, the aforementioned preset conditions may include a threshold range corresponding to a preset signal strength. The signal strength within this threshold range can be relatively high, and the threshold range may include a maximum signal strength value, which may correspond to the maximum transmission rate supported, meaning that the data transmission rate of the first or second device at this signal strength can reach the maximum transmission rate. Thus, when the detected signal strength is within the aforementioned threshold range, it can be determined that the other device has moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions. For example, the first device determines that the second device has moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, i.e., the position corresponding to the first device's first region; or the second device determines that the first device has moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, i.e., the position corresponding to the second device's second region. As mentioned above, the first region of the first device is its optimal region. The second region of the second device is its optimal region. Therefore, when the second device moves to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, the first device can determine that the second device is already in the position corresponding to the first region, and thus the first region can be determined. Similarly, when the first device moves to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, the second device can also determine that the first device is already in the position corresponding to the second region, and thus the second region can be determined.

[0160] It is understood that when the detected signal strength is lower than the lower limit of the threshold range, it can be determined that the other device at the other end has not moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions. For example, the first device determines that the second device has not moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, or the second device determines that the first device has not moved to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions.

[0161] S106: Outputs third guidance information indicating the optimal area.

[0162] For example, the third guidance information output by the first or second device can indicate the optimal area determined in S105 above, based on the signal strength detection result. As mentioned earlier, for the first device, this optimal area is the first region. For the second device, this optimal area is the second region.

[0163] For example, corresponding to the content of the detection interface 710 displayed by the mobile phone 10 in Figure 7 above, the mobile phone 10 can output the aforementioned third guidance information by displaying the "current signal strength" value in a different color (e.g., a more eye-catching color) in the relevant interface. Furthermore, the mobile phone 10 can also output the aforementioned third guidance information through interface flashing and / or voice prompts, thereby indicating the optimal area determined based on the signal strength detection result. Referring to the relevant description in S105 above, this optimal area can correspond to the first area of the mobile phone 10 when the mobile phone 20, as the counterpart, moves to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions.

[0164] For example, corresponding to the content of the detection interface 720 displayed by the mobile phone 20 in Figure 7 above, the mobile phone 20 can output the aforementioned third guidance information in the relevant interface by means of pop-up windows or star flashing, and the mobile phone 20 can also output the aforementioned third guidance information by means of interface flashing and / or voice prompts, thereby indicating the optimal area determined based on the aforementioned signal strength detection results. Referring to the relevant description in S105 above, the optimal area can correspond to the second area of the mobile phone 20 when the mobile phone 10, as the counterpart, moves to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions.

[0165] It is understood that in some embodiments, the first device or the second device may terminate the current process after executing S106. In other embodiments, the first device or the second device may also execute S107 before executing S105 to S106. No restrictions are imposed here.

[0166] S107: If neither the first device nor the second device moves to a position where the signal strength meets the preset conditions, continue to perform signal strength detection.

[0167] For example, a first device, such as mobile phone 10, can continue to display the detection interface 710 shown in FIG. 7 while continuing to perform signal strength detection. Similarly, a second device, such as mobile phone 20, can also continue to display the detection interface 720 shown in FIG. 7 while continuing to perform signal strength detection, which will not be described in detail here.

[0168] In some embodiments, after executing S107, the first device or the second device may return to executing S105 to S106. In other embodiments, after executing S107, the first device or the second device may also execute S108 to S109, which is not limited here.

[0169] S108: A user action indicating to exit the detection was detected.

[0170] For example, referring to FIG7 above, if the first device or the second device detects a user operation indicating to exit the detection during the process of continuing to perform signal strength detection in S108, such as a user operation acting on the exit control 712 shown in FIG7, or a user operation acting on the exit control 722 shown in FIG7, it can respond to the user operation and continue to perform S109 below.

[0171] S109: Displays the data transmission related interface after exiting the detection.

[0172] For example, the data transmission related interface after exiting the detection can be the "Select Data" interface 610 displayed on the mobile phone 10 shown in Figure 6. After the user selects the data item to be transmitted on the interface 610, clicking "Next" can trigger the start of data transmission.

[0173] For example, the data transmission related interface after exiting the detection can be the "Connection Successful" interface 620 displayed on the mobile phone 20 shown in Figure 6, or other data transmission related interfaces, without limitation.

[0174] It is understood that, based on the processes shown in Figures 2 and 9 to 10 above, the data transmission method provided in this application, by determining the optimal area based on the antenna's installation position, can guide the user to move the peer device to the corresponding optimal area of the local device before data transmission, thereby improving the data transmission rate, reducing data transmission time, and thus helping to reduce the power consumption of related electronic devices and avoid overheating. Furthermore, the data transmission method provided in this application, by determining the optimal area based on signal strength detection results, can adapt to more scenarios of data transmission between devices. Even if the antenna's installation position is not pre-obtained, electronic devices transmitting data, such as mobile phones and tablets, can accurately detect the optimal area conducive to data transmission after completing signal strength detection. Before data transmission, the method can still guide the user to move the peer device to the corresponding optimal area of the local device, thereby improving the data transmission rate, reducing data transmission time, and thus helping to reduce the power consumption of various electronic devices and avoid overheating.

[0175] In some embodiments, the data transmission method provided in this application first determines the optimal area based on the installation position of the antenna, and then adjusts or calibrates the optimal area based on the signal strength detection results. This can also improve the accuracy of determining the optimal area, thereby improving data transmission efficiency and reducing data transmission time.

[0176] It is understood that the functional modules shown in Figure 8 above can be set in the software architecture of the mobile phone's operating system. The following section, using a schematic diagram of an operating system architecture, details the location of each functional module and the specific implementation process of the data transmission method provided in this application on the mobile phone based on that operating system.

TM Based on the architecture, those skilled in the art can deduce the implementation of the embodiments of this application under other specific operating systems, such as Android. TM Implementation under operating systems, etc.

[0181] As an example, the software architecture of an electronic device can be divided into several layers. [0218] Electronic device 100 can perform shooting functions through ISP, camera 193, video codec, GPU, display 194 and application processor.

[0219] The external storage interface 120 can be used to connect an external memory card, such as a Micro SD card, to expand the storage capacity of the electronic device 100. The external memory card communicates with the processor 110 through the external storage interface 120 to perform data storage functions. For example, music, video, and other files can be saved on the external memory card.

[0220] Internal memory 121 can be used to store computer executable program code, including instructions. Internal memory 121 may include a program storage area and a data storage area. [0228] Figure 13 shows a schematic diagram of a communication device according to an embodiment of this application.

[0229] As shown in Figure 13, the communication device 1300 may include a processing module 1310 (sometimes also called a processing unit) and a transceiver module 1320 (sometimes also called a transceiver unit). The transceiver module is capable of both sending and receiving functions. When the transceiver module performs the sending function, it can be called a sending module (sometimes also called a sending unit), and when it performs the receiving function, it can be called a receiving module (sometimes also called a receiving unit). The sending module and the receiving module can be the same functional module, which is called the transceiver module and can perform both sending and receiving functions; alternatively, the sending module and the receiving module can be different functional modules, and the transceiver module is a collective term for these functional modules.

[0230] In some possible implementations, the communication device 1300 provided in the embodiments of this application further includes: a storage module 1330 (sometimes also called a storage unit) for storing any data, computer instructions and / or computer programs that may be involved in the embodiments of this application.

[0231] The processing module 1310, transceiver module 1320, and storage module 1330 in this application embodiment are used to enable the communication device 1300 to implement the first device function or the second device function in the above method embodiment.

[0232] The following describes the various modules in the first device, using the communication device 1300 to implement the functions of the first device in the above method embodiments. In some possible implementations, in the communication device 1300 provided in this application embodiment, the transceiver module 1320 is used to establish a first communication connection between the first device and the second device. The processing module 1310 is used to control the output of first guidance information, which instructs the second device to move to a position corresponding to a first area of the first device, where the antenna signal strength of the first antenna corresponding to the first area is within a first range, wherein the first antenna is the antenna used by the first device in the first communication connection; and, when the second device is detected to be located at the position corresponding to the first area, it controls the display of a first interface.

[0233] It is understandable that during the data transmission process between the first device and the second device, the transceiver module 1320 is also used to transmit and receive data to be transmitted between the first device and the second device.

[0234] In some possible implementations, the first region includes a first location where the signal strength of the first antenna is greatest. That is, the first antenna signal strength at the first location falls within the first range; and the first antenna signal strength is greater than the second antenna signal strength, which is the antenna signal strength of the first antenna at a location on the first device other than the first location. Furthermore, when the second device is located at the location corresponding to the first region, the distance between the first device and the second device is less than a first threshold.

[0235] In some possible implementations, the first region is determined by the processing module 1310 based on the first installation position of the first antenna; or, the first region is determined by the processing module 1310 based on the signal strength detection result of the first antenna. In this case, the storage module 1330 of the communication device 1300 can be used to store installation position-related data of each antenna of the first device, such as coordinates and other related data.

[0236] In some possible implementations, the first guidance information includes a first control. In this case, the processing module 1310 of the communication device is also configured to respond to a detected first user operation acting on the first control; display a second interface, wherein the second interface includes a signal strength detection result and / or second guidance information corresponding to the signal strength detection result, or the second interface includes third guidance information indicating the first area.

[0237] In some possible implementations, the first interface mentioned above includes the interface for cloning the application.

[0238] The following describes the various modules in the second device, using the communication device 1300 to implement the functions of the second device in the above method embodiments. In some possible implementations, in the communication device 1300 provided in this application embodiment, the transceiver module 1320 is used to establish a first communication connection between the second device and the first device. The processing module 1310 is used to control the output of fourth guidance information. During the process of the second device moving to the position corresponding to the first area of the first device, the fourth guidance information is used to indicate whether the first device is located at the position corresponding to the second area of the second device. The antenna signal strength of the first antenna corresponding to the first area is within a first range, and the antenna signal strength of the second antenna corresponding to the second area is within the first range. The first antenna is the antenna used by the first device in the first communication connection, and the second antenna is the antenna used by the second device in the first communication connection. Based on the fourth guidance information indicating that the first device is located at the position corresponding to the second area, a third interface is displayed.

[0239] The storage module 1330 can be used to store data related to the installation location of each antenna of the second device, such as coordinates.
