Description

electronic devices

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510494546.5, filed on April 18, 2025, entitled "Electronic Device", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This application relates to the field of electronic equipment technology, and more particularly to an electronic device. Background Technology

[0003] With the continuous development of science and technology, mobile phones and other electronic devices are widely used in people's daily lives and work, becoming indispensable everyday items. Current electronic devices often utilize camera modules for image and video capture. However, in existing electronic devices, camera modules are often fixedly mounted, with a fixed orientation of the light-receiving surface. Users can only adjust the camera module's shooting angle by adjusting the range of the electronic device, resulting in poor shooting flexibility and a reduced user experience. Summary of the Invention

[0004] This application provides an electronic device that improves the flexibility of electronic device shooting and enhances the user experience.

[0005] In a first aspect, this application provides an electronic device, including a device body, a connecting arm, and a gimbal camera module. The device body includes a housing with a first surface and a storage slot. The opening of the storage slot is located on a second surface of the housing. The connecting arm is rotatably connected to the device body. The gimbal camera module is electrically connected to the device body and fixedly connected to the connecting arm, and can rotate relative to the device body under the drive of the connecting arm.

[0006] The gimbal camera module can be rotated relative to the housing via the connecting arm to be housed in the storage slot.

[0007] In this application, the electronic device employs a gimbal camera module to capture images and videos. The gimbal camera module can rotate relative to the housing via a connecting arm, allowing the user to adjust the shooting angle according to their needs. This enhances the flexibility of the electronic device's shooting capabilities and improves the user experience. Furthermore, since the gimbal camera module can be housed in a storage slot within the device's main body, it eliminates the need to remove it from the device for storage, preventing loss. The storage slot also provides protection. The gimbal camera module utilizes space within the device's main body, reducing its space requirements. This not only contributes to a slimmer and lighter design but also allows for extended handheld use, further enhancing the user experience.

[0008] In one embodiment, the housing has a second surface disposed opposite to the first surface. The second surface includes a first sub-surface and a second sub-surface, with the second sub-surface located on the side of the first sub-surface away from the first surface of the housing. The opening of the storage groove is located on the second sub-surface.

[0009] Since the second sub-surface protrudes relative to the first sub-surface, and the opening of the storage slot is located on the second sub-surface, this design can reduce the space occupied by the storage slot in the internal space of the device body, reduce the impact of the storage slot on the layout of various functional modules inside the device body, help reduce the design cost of electronic devices, and improve the product competitiveness of electronic devices.

[0010] In one embodiment, the bottom wall of the storage groove is located on the side of the first sub-surface facing the first surface of the housing, so as to increase the volume of the storage groove.

[0011] In one embodiment, when the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot, the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module faces away from the bottom wall of the storage slot. In this case, the gimbal camera module can directly collect ambient light for image capture, ensuring the normal operation of the electronic device.

[0012] In one embodiment, when the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot, the surface of the gimbal camera module facing away from the bottom wall of the storage slot is located on the side of the second sub-surface facing the second surface, so as to avoid the gimbal camera module protruding relative to the second sub-surface of the housing. This not only ensures the protection of the gimbal camera module by the storage slot, but also improves the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device.

[0013] In one embodiment, the storage slot is designed to mimic the shape of the gimbal camera module, which can reduce the space occupied by the gimbal camera module on the main body of the device without affecting the movement space of the gimbal camera module. This can improve the utilization rate of the internal stacking space of the main body of the device and help to achieve the thinner and lighter design of electronic devices.

[0014] In one embodiment, the main body of the device further includes at least one first camera module, which is mounted inside the housing. The first camera module includes, but is not limited to, a main camera module, a wide-angle module, a telephoto module, a color temperature camera module, a primary color camera module, a flash module, or a laser sensor.

[0015] The main body of the device includes at least one first camera module, which can reduce the number of camera modules included in the gimbal camera module, and can greatly reduce the size of the gimbal camera module. This not only reduces the power required for the gimbal camera module to shoot, thus reducing the energy consumption of the gimbal camera module, but also reduces the space required for the main body of the device to house the gimbal camera module, thus reducing the internal space occupied by the gimbal camera module. This helps to improve the space stacking utilization rate of electronic devices and realize the thinner and lighter design of electronic devices.

[0016] In one embodiment, there is a first camera module, which is located on one side of the storage slot along the length of the device body and is spaced apart from the storage slot.

[0017] In one embodiment, the first camera module is a telephoto module, a wide-angle module, or a main camera module.

[0018] In one embodiment, there are two first camera modules. Along the length of the device body, one first camera module is located on one side of the storage slot and is spaced apart from the storage slot. Along the width of the device body, the other first camera module is located on one side of the storage slot and is spaced apart from the storage slot.

[0019] In one embodiment, the gimbal camera module includes a fixed base, a first rotating base, a second rotating base, a rotating shell, and at least one second camera module. The fixed base is fixedly connected to a connecting arm. The first rotating base is connected to the fixed base and can rotate relative to the fixed base about a first rotation axis. The second rotating base is connected to the first rotating base and can rotate relative to the first rotating base about a second rotation axis. The rotating shell is connected to the second rotating base and can rotate relative to the second rotating base about a third rotation axis. At least one second camera module is fixedly installed inside the rotating shell, wherein both the first and third rotation axes intersect the second rotation axis. The second camera module includes, but is not limited to, a main camera module, a wide-angle module, a telephoto module, a color temperature camera module, a primary color camera module, a flash module, or a laser sensor.

[0020] When the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot, the first rotating base, the second rotating base, and the rotating shell are all spaced apart from the wall of the storage slot. That is, the first rotating base, the second rotating base, and the rotating shell are suspended in mid-air without contact with the main body of the device. The first rotating base, the second rotating base, and the rotating shell have a certain amount of space to move within the storage slot, allowing for small-amplitude movements. The gimbal camera module has a certain degree of image stabilization, which improves the stability of the images captured by the electronic device, enhances the image clarity, and improves the user experience.

[0021] In one embodiment, the electronic device further includes a protective cover plate, which is fixedly installed on the rotating housing and spaced apart from both the first rotating base and the second rotating base. The protective cover plate has a first light-transmitting area, which corresponds to the light-receiving surface of the second camera module. The second camera module can collect external light through the first light-transmitting area to form corresponding image data.

[0022] When the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot, a protective cover covers both the storage slot and the gimbal camera module. The protective cover prevents the gimbal camera module from being exposed, which not only protects the gimbal camera module and improves the overall aesthetics of the electronic device, but also prevents the gimbal camera module from detaching from the storage slot in the event of a drop, thus improving the drop reliability of the electronic device.

[0023] In one embodiment, the electronic device further includes a protective cover plate, which is connected to the housing and is movable relative to the housing. The protective cover plate has a first position and a second position.

[0024] When the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot and the protective cover is in the first position, the protective cover covers both the storage slot and the gimbal camera module. The protective cover prevents the gimbal camera module from being exposed, protecting it, improving the overall aesthetics of the electronic device, and preventing it from detaching from the storage slot in the event of a drop, thus improving the drop reliability of the electronic device.

[0025] When the protective cover is in the second position, at least part of the storage slot is exposed relative to the protective cover.

[0026] In one embodiment, the protective cover has a first light-transmitting area, the gimbal camera module is housed in a storage slot, and when the protective cover is in a first position, the first light-transmitting area is arranged corresponding to the light-incoming surface of the second camera module.

[0027] The protective cover prevents the gimbal camera module from being exposed, not only protecting it and improving the overall aesthetics of the electronic device, but also preventing it from detaching from its storage slot in the event of a drop, thus improving the device's drop safety. The second camera module can also collect external light through the first light-transmitting area to generate corresponding image data.

[0028] In one embodiment, the protective cover is slidably connected to the housing, or the protective cover is rotatably connected to the housing.

[0029] In one embodiment, when the gimbal camera module is housed in the storage slot and the protective cover is in the first position, the protective cover and the gimbal camera module are spaced apart to avoid interference between the protective cover and the gimbal camera module, thus ensuring the normal operation of the gimbal camera module.

[0030] In one embodiment, the main body of the device further includes a third camera module, which is mounted on the housing and spaced apart from the storage slot to avoid interference between the front camera module and the pan-tilt camera module, ensuring the normal operation of the electronic device. The light-receiving surface of the third camera module is positioned opposite to the first surface.

[0031] In one embodiment, the gimbal camera module can rotate relative to the housing via the connecting arm to be located on the periphery of the housing and spaced apart from the housing. The gimbal camera module can perform large-scale movements to compensate for large-scale shaking of the electronic device, resulting in better image stability and higher image clarity, thus improving the user experience.

[0032] In one embodiment, the rotation axis of the connecting arm relative to the housing is perpendicular to the rotation plane of the connecting arm relative to the housing.

[0033] In one embodiment, the gimbal camera module further includes at least one of a stabilization module, a target tracking module, and a zoom coordination module.

[0034] When electronic devices are used for shooting during strenuous activities such as running or cycling, the image stabilization module can reduce the impact of the device's shaking on the shooting effect. The gimbal camera module has excellent image stabilization characteristics and can compensate for large-scale shaking of the electronic device, which can greatly improve the stability of the images captured by the electronic device, improve the clarity of the images, and enhance the user experience.

[0035] When the gimbal camera module is shooting, the target tracking module can identify specific targets such as human figures or objects in real time. It can also combine the characteristics of specific targets with the predicted motion trajectory to achieve precise locking of specific targets, ensuring that the gimbal camera module can adjust to the best state for shooting specific targets, so as to automatically form the best shooting angle, so that the gimbal camera module has professional-grade tracking function.

[0036] When the gimbal camera module is shooting and zooming, the zoom coordination module can adjust the shooting position and shooting angle of the gimbal camera module to ensure that the shooting target is always centered, and to ensure that zooming and focusing are carried out simultaneously. This avoids the shooting image being shifted due to zooming, so that the gimbal camera module has a zoom coordination control function.

[0037] In one embodiment, the main body of the device further includes a display module, which is mounted on the housing and the display surface of the display module is disposed opposite to the first surface.

[0038] In one embodiment, the main body of the device further includes a communication module, an audio module, a receiver, and a microphone. The communication module, audio module, receiver, and microphone are all installed in the housing. The audio module is electrically connected to the communication module, and the receiver and microphone are both electrically connected to the audio module.

[0039] In this application, the electronic device employs a gimbal camera module to capture images and videos. The gimbal camera module can rotate relative to the housing via a connecting arm, allowing the user to adjust the shooting angle according to their needs. This improves the flexibility of the electronic device's shooting capabilities and enhances the user experience. Furthermore, since the gimbal camera module is housed in a storage slot within the device's main body, it eliminates the need to remove it for storage, preventing loss. The storage slot also provides protection. The gimbal camera module reuses space within the device's main body, reducing its space occupancy. This not only contributes to a slimmer and lighter design but also allows for extended handheld use, further enhancing the user experience. Attached Figure Description

[0070] For ease of description, the width direction of the equipment body 100 is defined as the X-axis direction, the length direction of the equipment body 100 is defined as the Y-axis direction, and the thickness direction of the equipment body 100 is defined as the Z-axis direction. The X-axis direction, Y-axis direction, and Z-axis direction are all perpendicular to each other.

[0071] Please refer to Figures 5a and 5b together. Figure 5a is a structural schematic diagram of the main body 100 of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 4, and Figure 5b is a hardware structural schematic diagram of the main body 100 of the device shown in Figure 5a.

[0072] The main body of the device 100 includes a housing 110, a display module 120, a circuit board 130, a battery module 140, a processor 170a, a communication module 170b, an audio module 170c, a speaker 170d, a receiver 170e, a microphone 170f, a third camera module 150, and a first camera module 160. The display module 120, circuit board 130, battery module 140, processor 170a, communication module 170b, audio module 170c, speaker 170d, receiver 170e, microphone 170f, third camera module 150, and first camera module 160 are all mounted on the housing 110.

[0073] Along the thickness direction of the housing 110 (Z-axis direction in the figure), the display module 120 is mounted on one side of the housing 110. The display module 120 is electrically connected to the circuit board 130 and, through the circuit board 130, to the processor 170a. The display module 120 has a display surface 122 facing away from the housing 110. The display module 120 can receive information display signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130 to display images or text on the display surface 122. For example, the display module 120 can be an LCD (liquid crystal display) or an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display.

[0074] The display module 120 has a second light-transmitting area 121. External light can enter the interior of the device body 100 through the second light-transmitting area 121. Specifically, along the width direction of the device body 100 (the X-axis direction in the diagram), the second light-transmitting area 121 is located in the center of the display module 120. The centered design of the second light-transmitting area 121 makes the appearance of the device body 100 more symmetrical and balanced, improving the aesthetic appeal of the device body 100. It should be noted that the second light-transmitting area 121 can be a through hole, or it can be a part of the display module 120 made of transparent materials such as glass; this application does not impose specific limitations in this regard.

[0075] Circuit board 130, battery module 140, processor 170a, communication module 170b, audio module 170c, speaker 170d, receiver 170e, microphone 170f, third camera module 150, and first camera module 160 are all mounted inside housing 110. Along the length of the device body 100 (Y-axis direction in the diagram), battery module 140 is located on one side of circuit board 130 and electrically connected to circuit board 130. Battery module 140 can supply power to various components of device body 100 through circuit board 130. Processor 170a can be mounted on circuit board 130 and electrically connected to circuit board 130. Circuit board 130 can be the main board of device body 100, and processor 170a can be the CPU (central processing unit) of device body 100.

[0076] Communication module 170b, audio module 170c, speaker 170d, receiver 170e, and microphone 170f are all electrically connected to circuit board 130, and are electrically connected to processor 170a through circuit board 130. Communication module 170b can perform wireless communication of various types, including 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, wireless local area networks (WLAN), Bluetooth (BT), global navigation satellite system (GNSS), frequency modulation (FM), near field communication (NFC), or infrared (IR). The main device 100 can realize communication functions through communication module 170b.

[0077] Audio module 170c is electrically connected to communication module 170b. Audio module 170c can convert digital audio signals received by communication module 170b into analog audio signals for output, and can also convert analog audio signals transmitted by microphone 170f into digital audio signals for output. Speaker 170d, receiver 170e, and microphone 170f are all electrically connected to audio module 170c. Speaker 170d and receiver 170e can both convert the analog audio signals output by audio module 170c into sound signals. Speaker 170d can be used as the speaker of device body 100, and receiver 170e can be used as the earpiece of device body 100. Speaker 170d operates and emits sound when listening to music or answering hands-free calls. When answering calls or voice messages, the user can bring receiver 170e close to their ear to listen to the voice. Microphone 170f converts sound signals into analog audio signals. When making a phone call or sending a voice message, the user can speak by bringing their mouth close to the microphone 170f, and input the sound signal into the microphone 170f.

[0078] The housing 110 has a first surface 112, a second surface 111, and a peripheral surface 113. Along the thickness direction of the housing 110 (the Z-axis direction in the figure), the first surface 112 and the second surface 111 are disposed opposite to each other. The first surface 112 includes a first sub-surface 1121, a second sub-surface 1122, and a third sub-surface 1123. The second sub-surface 1122 is located on the side of the first sub-surface 1121 opposite to the second surface 111 and protrudes relative to the first sub-surface 1121. The third sub-surface 1123 connects the first sub-surface 1121 and the second sub-surface 1122 and is disposed around the second sub-surface 1122. Exemplarily, the second sub-surface 1122 is located at the upper right corner of the first surface 112. In some other embodiments, the first sub-surface 1121, the second sub-surface 1122, and the third sub-surface 1123 may also be flush; this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0079] A peripheral side surface 113 is connected between the second surface 111 and the first surface 112. The peripheral side surface 113 is spaced apart from the second sub-surface 1122. In this embodiment, the peripheral side surface 113 includes a first side surface 1131, a second side surface 1132, a third side surface 1133, and a fourth side surface 1134. Along the length direction of the housing 110 (Y-axis direction in the figure), the first side surface 1131 and the second side surface 1132 are arranged opposite to each other. Along the width direction of the housing 110 (X-axis direction in the figure), the third side surface 1133 and the fourth side surface 1134 are arranged opposite to each other and connected between the first side surface 1131 and the second side surface 1132. The first side surface 1131 is located on the upper side of the housing 110, the second side surface 1132 is located on the lower side of the housing 110, the third side surface 1133 is located on the left side of the housing 110, and the fourth side surface 1134 is located on the right side of the housing 110.

[0080] It should be noted that the directional terms such as "up," "down," "left," and "right" used in this application are descriptions based on the orientation shown on the coordinate axes of the accompanying drawings. "Up" refers to the positive direction of the Y-axis, "down" refers to the negative direction of the Y-axis, "right" refers to the positive direction of the X-axis, and "left" refers to the negative direction of the X-axis. These terms do not indicate or imply that the device or component referred to must have a specific orientation, or be constructed and operated in a specific orientation, and therefore should not be construed as a limitation on this application.

[0081] The housing 110 is provided with a storage slot 114, a camera hole 115, and a clearance notch 117. The storage slot 114, camera hole 115, and clearance notch 117 are all located at the upper right corner of the housing 110 to reduce the impact of the storage slot 114, camera hole 115, and clearance notch 117 on the battery module 140, and to prevent the design of the storage slot 114, camera hole 115, and clearance notch 117 from occupying the space of the battery module 140. This ensures that there is enough space inside the housing 110 to place the battery module 140, which helps to extend the battery life of the electronic device 1000.

[0082] Specifically, the openings of the storage slot 114, the camera hole 115, and the clearance notch 117 are all located on the second sub-surface 1122 of the first surface 112. The storage slot 114, camera hole 115, and clearance notch 117 are all recessed from the first surface 112 towards the second surface 111 (in the positive Z-axis direction shown in the figure). The opening of the storage slot 114 being located on the second sub-surface 1122 reduces the space occupied by the storage slot 114 within the device body 100 and minimizes its impact on the layout of the functional modules within the device body 100, thus helping to reduce the design cost of the electronic device 1000 and improve its product competitiveness. The bottom wall of the storage slot 114 is located on the side of the first sub-surface 1121 opposite to the second sub-surface 1122 and is recessed relative to the first sub-surface 1121 to ensure that the storage slot 114 has a large accommodating space. For example, the storage slot 114 is square.

[0083] A camera hole 115 is located around the periphery of the receiving groove 114 and is spaced apart from the receiving groove 114, connecting the inner and outer sides of the housing 110. There may be two camera holes 115, namely a first camera hole 115a and a second camera hole 115b. Along the width direction of the housing 110 (the X-axis direction in the figure), the first camera hole 115a is located on one side of the receiving groove 114. Along the length direction of the housing 110 (the Y-axis direction in the figure), the second camera hole 115b is located on one side of the first camera hole 115a. For example, the first camera hole 115a is circular, and the second camera hole 115b is square. In some other embodiments, there may be only one camera hole 115, or there may be more than three camera holes 115; this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0084] The clearance notch 117 is located on the side of the receiving groove 114 opposite to the first camera hole 115a, and penetrates the side wall of the receiving groove 114 and the third sub-surface 1123, and communicates with the receiving groove 114. In some other embodiments, the clearance notch 117 may also be located on the side of the receiving groove 114 opposite to the first camera hole 115a, or the clearance notch 117 may also be located in other positions of the receiving groove 114, and this application does not impose specific limitations on this. It is understood that when the first sub-surface 1121, the second sub-surface 1122 and the third sub-surface 1123 are flush, the housing 110 may not have the clearance notch 117.

[0085] The housing 110 is provided with a mating portion 118, which is located on the first surface 112 and protrudes from the first surface 112 in a direction away from the second surface 111 (negative Z-axis direction in the figure). Specifically, the mating portion 118 is located on the first sub-surface 1121, on the periphery of the receiving groove 114, and opposite to the clearance notch 117. For example, the mating portion 118 is located at the upper right corner of the housing 110. The mating portion 118 includes two sub-matting portions 1181. Along the width direction of the housing 110 (X-axis direction in the figure), the two sub-matting portions 1181 are located on opposite sides of the clearance notch 117.

[0086] In some other embodiments, the mating part 118 may also be provided on the peripheral side 113, or the housing 110 may be provided with a mounting groove, the opening of which is located on the first surface 112, and the mating part 118 may be provided on the bottom wall of the mounting groove. In this case, the mating part 118 may not protrude relative to the first sub-surface 1121, and the surface of the mating part 118 away from the bottom wall of the mounting groove may be flush with the first sub-surface 1121 to ensure the appearance consistency of the housing 110 and improve the appearance of the main body 100. This application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0087] In one embodiment, the housing 110 includes a middle frame 110a and a rear cover 110b. The middle frame 110a includes a second surface 111 and a peripheral side surface 113. The rear cover 110b is mounted on one side of the middle frame 110a and includes a first surface 112. The rear cover 110b may be a battery cover for the device body 100. For example, the rear cover 110b may be detachably mounted to the middle frame 110a to facilitate the repair and replacement of internal components or modules of the electronic device 1000.

[0088] Specifically, the display module 120 is mounted on the other side of the mid-frame 110a. That is, the display module 120 is mounted on the side of the mid-frame 110a that faces away from the back cover 110b. In other words, the display module 120 and the back cover 110b are mounted on opposite sides of the mid-frame 110a. When the user uses the electronic device 1000, the display module 120 is placed facing the user, and the back cover 110b is placed facing away from the user.

[0089] Both the third camera module 150 and the first camera module 160 are electrically connected to the circuit board 130, and can also be electrically connected to the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. Specifically, along the width of the device body 100, the third camera module 150 is located in the middle of the device body 100. The light-receiving surface of the third camera module 150 is positioned opposite to the first surface 112 and faces the same direction as the second surface 111, and is correspondingly positioned to the second light-transmitting area 121. The third camera module 150 is spaced apart from the storage slot 114. The third camera module 150 can receive information acquisition signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and collect external light through the second light-transmitting area 121 to form corresponding image data. The centrally designed third camera module 150 can better capture faces from various angles, and the photos and videos captured by the third camera module 150 are more natural, realistic, and beautiful, improving the user's shooting experience.

[0090] It should be noted that the correspondence between the light-receiving surface of the third camera module 150 and the second light-transmitting area 121 means that the projection of the light-receiving surface of the third camera module 150 onto the display module 120 covers at least a portion of the second light-transmitting area 121. The corresponding arrangement mentioned later can be understood in the same way. It should be understood that when the camera module collects external light, the external light enters the interior of the camera module through its light-receiving surface. The light-receiving surface of the camera module mentioned later can be understood in the same way.

[0091] It is understood that when a user uses electronic device 1000, the third camera module 150 is always facing the user. Therefore, the third camera module 150 can be used to collect the user's physiological information to unlock electronic device 1000. In some other embodiments, the device body 100 may also include a fingerprint recognition module or an iris recognition module, etc. The user can unlock electronic device 1000 through the fingerprint recognition module or the iris recognition module. In this case, the device body 100 may not include the third camera module 150 to save internal space of the device body 100 and help to achieve a thinner and lighter design of electronic device 1000.

[0092] The first camera module 160 is located around the periphery of the storage slot 114 and is spaced apart from the storage slot 114, and is correspondingly arranged with the second sub-surface 1122. The second sub-surface 1122 covers the first camera module 160. Specifically, the light-receiving surface of the first camera module 160 faces the same direction as the first surface 112 and is correspondingly arranged with the camera aperture 115. The first camera module 160 can receive information acquisition signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and acquire external light through the camera aperture 115 to form corresponding image data. The first camera module 160 includes, but is not limited to, a main camera module, a wide-angle module, a telephoto module, a color temperature camera module, a primary color camera module, a flash module, or a laser sensor. It should be noted that in this application, the main camera module is a camera module responsible for everyday shooting and producing superior image quality, while the wide-angle module is a camera module responsible for capturing a wider field of view. In some embodiments, the focal length of the wide-angle module can be less than 35mm. The telephoto module is a camera module capable of shooting from a distance and capturing details. In some embodiments, the focal length of the telephoto module is greater than 50mm.

[0093] In this embodiment, there are two first camera modules 160. For example, one first camera module 160 may be a wide-angle module 160a, and the other may be a telephoto module 160b. Specifically, along the width direction of the device body 100, the wide-angle module 160a is located on one side of the storage slot 114. Along the length direction of the device body 100, the wide-angle module 160a overlaps with the storage slot 114. That is, the wide-angle module 160a reuses the space of the storage slot 114 in the length direction of the device body 100, thereby reducing the space occupied by the storage slot 114 and the wide-angle module 160a in the length direction of the device body 100, which helps to reduce the length of the device body 100. Along the length direction of the device body 100, the telephoto module 160b is located on one side of the storage slot 114. For example, the telephoto module 160b is rectangular, and its length direction is parallel to the width direction of the device body 100. Along the width direction of the device body 100, the storage slot 114 and the wide-angle module 160a are both overlapped with the telephoto module 160b. That is, the storage slot 114 and the wide-angle module 160a reuse the space of the telephoto module 160b in the width direction of the device body 100, thereby reducing the space occupied by the storage slot 114, the wide-angle module 160a, and the telephoto module 160b in the width direction of the device body 100, which helps to reduce the width dimension of the device body 100. The light-receiving surface of the wide-angle module 160a is correspondingly arranged with the first camera hole 115a, and the telephoto module 160b is correspondingly arranged with the second camera hole 115b. In some other embodiments, the first camera module 160 may include one, or the first camera module 160 may include three or more.

[0094] The connecting arm 200 is rotatably connected to the housing 110 to achieve a rotatable connection between the connecting arm 200 and the device body 100. The axis of rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the housing 110 is perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the housing 110. For example, the axis of rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the housing 110 is parallel to the X-axis. In some other embodiments, the axis of rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the mating part 118 may also be parallel to the Y-axis or other directions; this application does not impose specific limitations on this. It should be noted that the plane of rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the housing 110 is the surface formed by the movement trajectory of the connecting arm 200 during its rotation relative to the housing 110.

[0095] In this embodiment, the connecting arm 200 is rotatably connected to the mating part 118 to achieve a rotatable connection between the connecting arm 200 and the housing 110. For example, the connecting arm 200 and the mating part 118 can be connected via a circular hole and a circular shaft. Specifically, the connecting arm 200 is rotatably connected to two sub-matting parts 1181 to achieve a rotatable connection between the connecting arm 200 and the mating parts 118. The connecting arm 200 includes a first connecting end 210 and a second connecting end 220. The first connecting end 210 is located between the two sub-matting parts 1181 and is rotatably connected to them. For example, the first connecting end 210 is semi-circular in shape, and its central axis coincides with the rotation axis of the connecting arm 200 relative to the mating part 118. The second connecting end 220 is disposed opposite to the first connecting end 210 and protrudes relative to the two sub-matting parts 1181.

[0096] It should be noted that in some other embodiments, the housing 110 may not have the mating part 118, and the housing 110 may have a rotating groove. The opening of the rotating groove is located on the second surface of the housing 110. The connecting arm 200 may be installed in the rotating groove and may rotate relative to the housing 110 in the rotating groove. This application does not impose specific restrictions on the rotational fit between the connecting arm 200 and the housing 110.

[0097] In this embodiment, the electronic device 1000 further includes a drive module (not shown), which is installed inside the housing 110 and electrically connected to the processor 170a. Specifically, the drive module can be installed on and electrically connected to the circuit board 130 to achieve electrical connection with the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. The drive module can receive drive signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130 and drive the connecting arm 200 to rotate relative to the mating part 118, thereby realizing the rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the device body 100. In some other embodiments, the electronic device 1000 may not include a drive module, and the rotation of the connecting arm 200 relative to the mating part 118 may be achieved manually by the user. This application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0098] The gimbal camera module 300 is fixedly connected to the connecting arm 200 and can rotate relative to the mating part 118 under the drive of the connecting arm 200, thereby achieving rotation relative to the main body 100 of the device. The gimbal camera module 300 is fixedly connected to the second connecting end 220. The gimbal camera module 300 can be electrically connected to the processor 170a via the circuit board 130. The gimbal camera module 300 can receive information acquisition signals sent by the processor 170a via the circuit board 130 and acquire external light to form corresponding image data. The gimbal camera module 300 has a retracted position and an unretracted position.

[0099] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the connecting arm 200 is folded relative to the main body 100, and the gimbal camera module 300 is in a stowed position. The gimbal camera module 300 is located on the back side of the main body 100 and is housed in the storage slot 114. The connecting arm 200 passes through the clearance notch 117, and the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 faces away from the bottom wall of the storage slot 114. That is, the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 faces the opening of the storage slot 114. At this time, the gimbal camera module 300 can be used as a rear camera module of the electronic device 1000, and the gimbal camera module 300 can collect external light for shooting. Furthermore, the surface of the gimbal camera module 300 that faces away from the bottom wall of the storage slot 114 is located on the side of the second sub-surface 1122 facing the second surface 111. That is, the gimbal camera module 300 will not protrude from the first surface 112 of the housing 110, which not only ensures the effective protection of the gimbal camera module 300 by the storage slot 114, but also improves the appearance of the electronic device 1000.

[0100] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the connecting arm 200 is extended relative to the main body 100, and the gimbal camera module 300 is in its unfolded position. The gimbal camera module 300 is located around the main body 100 and spaced apart from it. Specifically, the connecting arm 200 protrudes from the first side panel 1131, and the gimbal camera module 300 is located on the side of the first side panel 1131 opposite to the second side panel 1132 and spaced apart from it. At this time, the gimbal camera module 300 is located to the right of the third camera module 150.

[0101] When the electronic device 1000 switches from the first state to the second state, the connecting arm 200 rotates relative to the device body 100, and drives the gimbal camera module 300 to rotate relative to the device body 100 to a position located around the device body 100 and spaced apart from the device body 100, so that the gimbal camera module 300 switches from a retracted position to an unretracted position. When the electronic device 1000 switches from the second state to the first state, the connecting arm 200 rotates relative to the device body 100, and drives the gimbal camera module 300 to rotate relative to the device body 100 until it is housed in the storage slot 114, so that the gimbal camera module 300 switches from an unretracted position to a retracted position.

[0102] In this embodiment, the electronic device 1000 can use a gimbal camera module 300 to capture images and videos. The gimbal camera module 300 can rotate relative to the device body 100 via the connecting arm 200. Users can rotate the gimbal camera module 300 to adjust its shooting angle according to their needs, which helps improve the flexibility of the electronic device 1000's shooting and enhances the user experience. Moreover, since the gimbal camera module 300 can be housed in the storage slot 114 of the device body 100, it is not necessary to remove the gimbal camera module 300 from the device body 100 for storage to avoid loss. The storage slot 114 also protects the gimbal camera module 300. The gimbal camera module 300 can also reuse the space of the device body 1000, reducing its space occupation. This not only helps to achieve a thinner and lighter design for the electronic device 1000, but also makes it convenient for users to hold the electronic device 1000 for extended periods of time, further enhancing the user experience.

[0103] Please refer to Figures 6 to 8. Figure 6 is a structural schematic diagram of the gimbal camera module 300 in the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 2. Figure 7 is a structural schematic diagram of the gimbal camera module 300 in the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 3. Figure 8 is a structural schematic diagram of the gimbal camera module 300 in the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 4.

[0104] The gimbal camera module 300 includes a fixed base 310, a first rotating base 320, a second rotating base 330, a rotating shell 340, a second camera module 350, a first driving member (not shown), a second driving member (not shown), and a third driving member (not shown). The fixed base 310 is fixedly connected to the connecting arm 200 and can rotate relative to the device body 100 under the drive of the connecting arm 200, thereby realizing the rotation of the gimbal camera module 300 relative to the device body 100. The first rotating base 320 is located on one side of the fixed base 310 and connected to the fixed base 310, and can rotate relative to the fixed base 310 around a first rotation axis R1. The second rotating base 330 is located on the side of the first rotating base 320 opposite to the fixed base 310 and connected to the first rotating base 320, and can rotate relative to the first rotating base 320 around a second rotation axis R2. The rotating housing 340 is located on the side of the second rotating seat 330 opposite to the first rotating seat 320, and is connected to the second rotating seat 330. It can rotate relative to the second rotating seat 330 around a third rotating axis R3. Both the first rotating axis R1 and the third rotating axis R3 intersect the second rotating axis R2. For example, the first rotating axis R1 can be called the yaw axis, the second rotating axis R2 can be called the roll axis, and the third rotating axis R3 can be called the pitch axis.

[0105] It should be noted that the intersection of the first rotation axis R1 and the second rotation axis R2 means that the first rotation axis R1 and the second rotation axis R2 can be two intersecting straight lines in the same plane, or the first rotation axis R1 and the second rotation axis R can be two skew straight lines in different planes. This application does not impose specific restrictions on this.

[0106] The second camera module 350 is fixedly mounted on the rotating housing 340 and can be electrically connected to the processor 170a. Exemplarily, the second camera module 350 is fixedly mounted inside the rotating housing 340. A first drive member is mounted on the fixed base 310 and the first rotating base 320, and can be electrically connected to the processor 170a, and is used to drive the first rotating base 320 to rotate relative to the fixed base 310 about a first rotation axis R1. A second drive member is mounted on the first rotating base 320 and the second rotating base 330, and can be electrically connected to the processor 170a, and is used to drive the second rotating base 330 to rotate relative to the first rotating base 320 about a second rotation axis R2. A third drive member is mounted on the second rotating base 330 and the rotating housing 340, and can be electrically connected to the processor 170a, and is used to drive the rotating housing 340 to rotate relative to the second rotating base 330 about a third rotation axis R3. Exemplarily, the first, second, and third drive members can be drive motors.

[0107] In this embodiment, the first rotating seat 320 includes a first rotating portion 321 and a first connecting portion 322. The first rotating portion 321 is connected to the fixed seat 310 and can rotate relative to the fixed seat 310 around a first rotation axis R1. The first connecting portion 322 is fixedly connected to the first rotating portion 321 and is arranged intersecting the first rotating portion 321. For example, the first rotating seat 320 is "L"-shaped, and the included angle between the first connecting portion 322 and the first rotating portion 321 is equal to 90 degrees. In some other embodiments, the first rotating seat 320 may also be "U"-shaped. In this case, there may be two first connecting portions 322, which are respectively fixedly connected to opposite sides of the first rotating portion 321. This application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0108] The second rotating seat 330 is located on the side of the first rotating part 321 away from the fixed seat 310, and is spaced apart from the first rotating part 321. It is connected to the first connecting part 322 and can rotate relative to the first connecting part 322 about the second rotation axis R2. The second rotating seat 330 includes a second rotating part 331 and two second connecting parts 332. The second rotating part 331 is located on one side of the first connecting part 322 and is connected to the first connecting part 322, and can rotate relative to the first connecting part 322 about the second rotation axis R2. For example, the middle part of the second rotating part 331 is connected to the first connecting part 322. The two second connecting parts 332 are both located on the side of the first rotating part 321 away from the fixed seat 310, and are respectively fixedly connected to opposite sides of the second rotating part 331, and are intersecting with the second rotating part 331. The two second connecting parts 332 are located on the same side of the second rotating part 331. For example, the second rotating seat 330 is in the shape of an "U", and the included angle between the two second connecting parts 332 and the second rotating part 331 is 90 degrees. In some other embodiments, the second rotating seat 330 may also be in the shape of an "L", in which case there is only one second connecting part 332, and this application does not make specific limitations on this.

[0109] The rotating housing 340 is located on the side of the second rotating part 331 opposite to the first connecting part 322, and is spaced apart from the second rotating part 331 and connected between the two second connecting parts 332. It can also rotate relative to the two second connecting parts 332 about a third rotating axis R3. The rotating housing 340 has a third surface 341 and a fourth surface 342. Along the thickness direction of the rotating housing 340, the third surface 341 and the fourth surface 342 are arranged opposite to each other. The third surface 341 can be the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 mentioned above. The rotating housing 340 is provided with a light-transmitting hole 343, the opening of which is located on the third surface 341. The light-transmitting hole 343 penetrates the rotating housing 340 along its thickness direction and connects the inner and outer sides of the rotating housing 340.

[0110] The light-receiving surface of the second camera module 350 is correspondingly arranged with the light-transmitting hole 343. The second camera module 350 can be electrically connected to the circuit board 130, and can also be electrically connected to the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. The second camera module 350 can receive information acquisition signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and collect external light through the light-transmitting hole 343 to form corresponding image data. The second camera module 350 includes, but is not limited to, a main camera module, a wide-angle module, a telephoto module, a color temperature camera module, a primary color camera module, a flash module, or a laser sensor. For example, the second camera module 350 can be a main camera module.

[0111] The first driving component is mounted on the fixed base 310 and the first rotating part 321, and can be electrically connected to the circuit board 130, and is electrically connected to the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. The first driving component can receive driving signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and drive the first rotating part 321 to rotate relative to the fixed base 310 around the first rotation axis R1. The second driving component is mounted on the first connecting part 322 and the second rotating part 331, and can be electrically connected to the circuit board 130, and is electrically connected to the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. The second driving component can receive driving signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and drive the second rotating part 331 to rotate relative to the first connecting part 322 around the second rotation axis R2. The third driving component is mounted on the second connecting part 332 and the rotating shell 340, and can be electrically connected to the circuit board 130, and is electrically connected to the processor 170a through the circuit board 130. The third driving component can receive driving signals sent by the processor 170a through the circuit board 130, and drive the rotating housing 340 to rotate relative to the second connecting part 332 around the third rotation axis R3. The gimbal camera module 300 has a folded state and an unfolded state.

[0112] In addition, the gimbal camera module 300 may also include an image stabilization module, a target tracking module, and a zoom coordination module. The image stabilization module, tracking module, and zoom coordination module can all be electrically connected to the processor 170a. The image stabilization module can reduce the impact of the electronic device 1000's shaking on the shooting effect, thereby improving the shooting effect of the electronic device 1000. The image stabilization module can employ mechanical image stabilization technology. In this case, the image stabilization module may include sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers. These sensors can monitor the shaking direction and amplitude of the electronic device 1000 in real time. The processor 170a can predict the motion trajectory of the electronic device 1000 based on the sensor monitoring results and drive the first, second, and third driving components to compensate for the shaking of the electronic device 1000. In other embodiments, the image stabilization module may also employ optical image stabilization (OIS) or electronic image stabilization (EIS) technology; this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0113] When the gimbal camera module 300 is shooting, the target tracking module can identify specific targets such as people or objects in real time, and can accurately lock onto the specific target by combining the characteristics of the specific target and the predicted motion trajectory, ensuring that the gimbal camera module 300 can adjust to the optimal state for shooting the specific target, so as to automatically form the best shooting angle and ensure the shooting experience of the gimbal camera module 300. When the gimbal camera module 300 is shooting and zooming, the zoom coordination module can adjust the shooting position and shooting angle of the gimbal camera module 300 to ensure that the shooting target is always centered, and to ensure that zooming and focusing are performed simultaneously, avoiding the shooting image shift caused by the gimbal camera module 300 zooming. In some other embodiments, the gimbal camera module 300 may also include only one or two of the image stabilization module, target tracking module and zoom coordination module, and this application does not make specific limitations in this regard.

[0114] As shown in Figures 2 and 6, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position and is housed in the storage slot 114. Specifically, the mounting base 310 can contact the wall surface of the storage slot 114. The first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 are all spaced apart from the wall surface of the storage slot 114. That is, the first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 are in a suspended state without contacting the device body 100. Among them, the first rotation axis R1 and the third rotation axis R3 are both parallel to the Y-axis direction, and the second rotation axis R2 is parallel to the X-axis direction.

[0115] At this time, the gimbal camera module 300 is in a folded state, with the third surface 341 of the rotating shell 340 facing the opening of the storage slot 114, and the fourth surface 342 of the rotating shell 340 facing the bottom wall of the storage slot 114. The first rotating base 320 and the second rotating base 330 are both located between the peripheral side of the rotating shell 340 and the side wall of the storage slot 114, and are arranged around the rotating shell 340. Specifically, the first rotating part 321 is opposite to a second connecting part 332, and the first connecting part 322 is opposite to the second rotating part 331.

[0116] It is understandable that the folded gimbal camera module 300 has a smaller volume, which reduces the space occupied by the gimbal camera module 300 on the main body of the device 100 and reduces the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the layout of various functional modules inside the main body of the device 100. This helps to reduce the design cost of the electronic device 1000 and improve the product competitiveness of the electronic device 1000. In some other embodiments, when the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, it can also be in the unfolded state. This application does not impose specific restrictions on this.

[0117] When the electronic device 1000 is in the first state and is shooting using the gimbal camera module 300, since the first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 are all spaced apart from the wall of the storage slot 114, the first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 have a certain amount of movement space within the storage slot 114. The first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 can make small movements within the storage slot 114. The gimbal camera module 300 has a certain image stabilization function, which can improve the stability of the images captured by the electronic device 1000, improve the shooting clarity of the electronic device 1000, and enhance the user experience.

[0118] As shown in Figures 4, 7, and 8, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded position, located around the periphery of the device body 100, and spaced apart from it. Specifically, the first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330, and the rotating shell 340 are all spaced apart from the peripheral side 113. The first rotation axis R1 is parallel to the Y-axis, the second rotation axis R2 is parallel to the Z-axis, and the third rotation axis R3 is parallel to the X-axis.

[0119] At this time, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded state. The third surface 341 of the rotating shell 340 can face the display module 120 of the device body 100, and the fourth surface 342 of the rotating shell 340 can face the rear cover 110b of the device body 100. The first rotating part 321 of the first rotating seat 320 is located between the rotating shell 340 and the device body 100, and the first connecting part 322 is located on the side of the fourth surface 342 away from the third surface 341. The second rotating part 331 of the second rotating seat 330 is located between the rotating shell 340 and the first connecting part 322, and is intersecting with the first connecting part 322. For example, the first connecting part 322 is parallel to the Y-axis direction, the second rotating part 331 is parallel to the X-axis direction, and the included angle between the second rotating part 331 and the first connecting part 322 is 90 degrees. In other words, the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 faces the front of the device body 100, and the gimbal camera module 300 can be used as a front-facing camera module of the device body 100. In some other embodiments, when the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded position, the gimbal camera module 300 can also be in a folded state, and this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0120] When the gimbal camera module 300 switches from the folded state to the unfolded state, the first driving component receives the driving signal sent by the processor 170a and drives the first rotating base 320 to rotate 90 degrees relative to the fixed base 310 around the first rotation axis R1. The second driving component receives the driving signal sent by the processor 170a and drives the second rotating base 330 to rotate 90 degrees relative to the first rotating base 320. The third driving component receives the driving signal sent by the processor 170a and drives the rotating shell 340 to rotate 90 degrees relative to the second rotating base 330. During this process, the first, second, and third driving components can receive the driving signal sent by the processor 170a simultaneously or sequentially; this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0121] Understandably, when the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded state and the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 needs to face the rear of the device body 100, the first driving component can receive the driving signal sent by the processor 170a and drive the first rotating base 320 to rotate 180 degrees relative to the fixed base 310 around the first rotation axis R1, so that the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300 can face the rear of the device body 100, and the gimbal camera module 300 can be used as a rear camera module of the device body 100.

[0122] It should be noted that the directional terms such as "front" and "rear" used in this application are descriptions based on the orientation shown on the coordinate axes of the accompanying drawings, with "front" referring to the positive direction of the Z-axis and "rear" referring to the negative direction of the Z-axis. They do not indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation, or be constructed and operated in a specific orientation, and therefore should not be construed as a limitation on this application.

[0123] When the electronic device 1000 is in the second state and is shooting using the gimbal camera module 300, the first rotating base 320, the second rotating base 330 and the rotating shell 340 have sufficient space to move without interfering with the main body of the device 100, which ensures that the gimbal camera module 300 can shoot normally.

[0124] When a user is engaged in gentle exercise such as walking or sitting quietly, and needs to take photos using the electronic device 1000, the device can be adjusted to the first state. The gimbal camera module 300 is in its storage position, housed in the storage slot 114, yet it can still capture images, ensuring normal operation of the electronic device 1000. Furthermore, since the gimbal camera module 300 is housed in the storage slot 114 of the main body 100, the storage slot 114 not only protects the gimbal camera module 300 but also allows it to reuse space within the main body 100, reducing its space occupancy. This contributes to a slimmer and lighter design of the electronic device 1000 and allows for convenient long-term handheld use, enhancing the user experience.

[0125] When users are engaged in strenuous activities such as running or cycling, if they need to use the electronic device 1000 for filming, they can adjust the electronic device 1000 to the second state, where the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded position and is spaced apart from the main body 100. The gimbal camera module 300 can move significantly to compensate for large-scale shaking of the electronic device 1000. The images captured by the electronic device 1000 have good stability and high image clarity, improving the user experience.

[0126] In this embodiment, the electronic device 1000 uses a gimbal camera module 300 to capture images and videos. When the electronic device 1000 is shooting during vigorous activities such as running or cycling, the gimbal camera module 300, with its excellent image stabilization capabilities, can compensate for significant shakes of the electronic device 1000, greatly improving the stability of the captured images, enhancing image clarity, and improving the user experience. Furthermore, the gimbal camera module 300 features professional-grade tracking and zoom coordination control functions, increasing the playability of the electronic device 1000 during shooting and further enhancing the user experience.

[0127] In the electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment, the gimbal camera module 300 only includes the main camera module, and the main body 100 includes a wide-angle module 160a and a telephoto module 160b. The gimbal camera module 300 can achieve shooting without additional wide-angle and telephoto modules, which can greatly reduce the size of the gimbal camera module 300. This not only reduces the power required for the gimbal camera module 300 to shoot and lowers the energy consumption of the gimbal camera module 300, but also reduces the space required for the main body 100 to store the gimbal camera module 300. This reduces the internal space occupied by the gimbal camera module 300 in the main body 100, which helps to improve the space stacking utilization of the electronic device 1000 and achieve a thinner and lighter design of the electronic device 1000.

[0128] Please refer to Figures 9 to 11. Figure 9 is a structural schematic diagram of the second type of electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state. Figure 10 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 9 in the second state. Figure 11 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 9 in the third state.

[0129] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the electronic device 1000 shown in the first embodiment in that the storage slot 114 is designed to mimic the shape of the gimbal camera module 300. Specifically, the housing 110 is provided with a mounting slot 110c, which is located on the second sub-surface 1122 of the first surface 112. The mounting slot 110c is recessed from the first surface 112 toward the second surface 111. The bottom wall of the mounting slot 110c is located on the side of the first sub-surface 1121 opposite to the second sub-surface 1122, and is recessed relative to the first sub-surface 1121. For example, the mounting slot 110c is square.

[0130] The housing 110 has protrusions 119, which are located on the wall of the mounting groove 110c and enclose a receiving groove 114. Multiple protrusions 119 may be present, spaced apart. For example, three protrusions 119 are located at the three corners of the mounting groove 110c. When the gimbal camera module 300 is in the first position, the protrusions 119 are spaced apart from the gimbal camera module 300 to avoid affecting its movement within the mounting groove 110c. The functional components of the device body 100 can be correspondingly arranged with the protrusions 119 to improve the utilization of the internal stacking space of the device body 100.

[0131] In this embodiment, the contour design of the storage slot 114 and the gimbal camera module 300 can reduce the space occupied by the gimbal camera module 300 on the device body 100 without affecting the movement space of the gimbal camera module 300. This can improve the utilization rate of the internal stacking space of the device body 100 and help to achieve the thin and light design of the electronic device 1000.

[0132] In addition, the device body 100 includes a first camera module 160. Along the length of the device body 100, the first camera module 160 is located on one side of the storage slot 114 and is spaced apart from the storage slot 114. For example, the first camera module 160 may be a telephoto module 160b.

[0133] In the gimbal camera module 300, the rotating housing 340 is provided with two light-transmitting holes 343. The two light-transmitting holes 343 are a first light-transmitting hole 343a and a second light-transmitting hole 343b, respectively. Along the length of the rotating housing 340, the second light-transmitting hole 343b is located on one side of the first light-transmitting hole 343a and is spaced apart from the first light-transmitting hole 343a.

[0134] Furthermore, the gimbal camera module 300 includes two second camera modules 350. For example, one second camera module 350 may be a main camera module 350a, and the other may be a wide-angle module 350b. Along the length of the rotating housing 340, the wide-angle module 350b is located to one side of the main camera module 350a and is spaced apart from it. The light-inlet surface of the main camera module 350a corresponds to the first light-transmitting hole 343a, and the light-inlet surface of the wide-angle module 350b corresponds to the second light-transmitting hole 343b.

[0135] As shown in Figure 9, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the retracted position. The length direction of the rotating housing 340 is parallel to the X-axis. As shown in Figure 10, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unretracted position. The length direction of the rotating housing 340 is parallel to the Y-axis, and the wide-angle module 350b is located on the side of the main camera module 350a away from the device body 100. As shown in Figure 11, when the electronic device 1000 is in the third state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unretracted position. The length direction of the rotating housing 340 is parallel to the Y-axis, the third surface 341 of the rotating housing 340 faces the rear cover 110b of the device body 100, and the fourth surface 342 of the rotating housing 340 faces the display module 120 of the device body 100.

[0136] In the electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment, the gimbal camera module 300 includes a main camera module 350a and a wide-angle module 350b, and the main body 100 includes a telephoto module 160b. This reduces the size of the gimbal camera module 300, which not only reduces the power required for shooting and lowers the energy consumption of the gimbal camera module 300, but also reduces the space required for the main body 100 to house the gimbal camera module 300. This reduces the internal space occupied by the gimbal camera module 300 in the main body 100, helps to improve the space stacking utilization rate of the electronic device 1000, and realizes the lightweight and thin design of the electronic device 1000. Compared to the electronic device 1000 shown in the first embodiment above, the gimbal camera module 300 also includes a wide-angle module 350b. The wide-angle module 350b can increase the shooting field of the gimbal camera module 300, reduce the shooting blind spot of the gimbal camera module 300, improve the imaging technology of the electronic device 1000, and enhance the user's shooting experience.

[0137] Please refer to Figures 12 and 13. Figure 12 is a structural schematic diagram of the third electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 13 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 12 in the second state.

[0138] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the electronic device 1000 shown in the second embodiment above in that the main body 100 does not include the first camera module 160. In the gimbal camera module 300, the rotating housing 340 is provided with three light-transmitting holes 343. The three light-transmitting holes 343 are a first light-transmitting hole 343a, a second light-transmitting hole 343b, and a third light-transmitting hole 343c. Along the width direction of the rotating housing 340, the third light-transmitting hole 343c is located to one side of the first light-transmitting hole 343a and is spaced apart from both the first light-transmitting hole 343a and the second light-transmitting hole 343b.

[0139] Furthermore, the gimbal camera module 300 includes three second camera modules 350. For example, one second camera module 350 may be a main camera module 350a, one second camera module 350 may be a wide-angle module 350b, and another second camera module 350 may be a telephoto module 350c. Specifically, along the width direction of the rotating housing 340, the telephoto module 350c is located on the same side as the main camera module 350a and the wide-angle module 350b, and is spaced apart from both. The light-inlet surface of the main camera module 350a corresponds to the first light-transmitting hole 343a, the light-inlet surface of the wide-angle module 350b corresponds to the second light-transmitting hole 343b, and the light-inlet surface of the telephoto module 350c corresponds to the third light-transmitting hole 343c.

[0140] As shown in Figure 12, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the retracted position. The width direction of the rotating housing 340 is parallel to the Y-axis. As shown in Figure 13, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unretracted position. The width direction of the rotating housing 340 is parallel to the X-axis. The wide-angle module 350b is located on the side of the main camera module 350a facing the device body 100.

[0141] In the electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment, the gimbal camera module 300 includes a main camera module 350a, a wide-angle module 350b, and a telephoto module 350c. The wide-angle module 350b can increase the shooting field of view of the gimbal camera module 300 and reduce the shooting blind spots of the gimbal camera module 300. The telephoto module 350c can enhance the long-distance shooting and detail capture capabilities of the gimbal camera module 300, improve the imaging technology of the electronic device 1000, and enhance the user's shooting experience.

[0142] Please refer to Figures 14 and 15. Figure 14 is a structural schematic diagram of the fourth electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 15 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 14 in the second state.

[0143] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the electronic devices 1000 shown in the first to third embodiments above in that, in the device body 100, along the width direction of the housing 110, the second sub-surface 1122, the receiving groove 114, and the mating part (not shown) are all located in the middle of the housing 110. Along the width direction of the device body 100, the second light-transmitting area 121 is located at the upper left corner of the display module 120, and the third camera module 150 is located at the upper left corner of the device body 100. In some other embodiments, along the width direction of the device body 100, the second light-transmitting area 121 may also be located at the upper right corner of the display module 120, and the third camera module 150 may also be located at the upper right corner of the device body 100; this application does not impose specific limitations on this.

[0144] When the electronic device 1000 is in the first and second states, both the connecting arm 200 and the gimbal camera module 300 are located in the middle of the main body 100 along its width. Understandably, the centrally located gimbal camera module 300 can better capture objects from various angles, resulting in more natural, realistic, and aesthetically pleasing photos and videos, thus enhancing the user's shooting experience.

[0145] Please refer to Figures 16 and 17. Figure 16 is a structural schematic diagram of the fifth electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 17 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 16 in the second state.

[0146] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the first to third types of electronic devices 1000 described above in that, in the device body 100, the second sub-surface 1122, the storage groove 114, and the mating part (not shown) are all located at the upper left corner of the housing 110. When the electronic device 1000 is in the first and second states, along the width direction of the device body 100, the connecting arm 200 and the pan-tilt camera module 300 are both located to the left of the third camera module 150.

[0147] Understandably, the non-centered design of the gimbal camera module 300 can reduce the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the third camera module 150, thereby reducing the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the layout of various functional modules in the main body of the device 100, which helps to reduce the design cost of the electronic device 1000 and improve the product competitiveness of the electronic device 1000.

[0148] Please refer to Figure 18, which is a structural schematic diagram of the sixth type of electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the second state.

[0149] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the first to fifth types of electronic devices 1000 described above in that, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded position, the connecting arm 200 protrudes relative to the third side 1133, and the gimbal camera module 300 is located on the side of the third side 1133 away from the fourth side 1134, and is spaced apart from the third side 1133.

[0150] Understandably, the non-centered design of the gimbal camera module 300 can reduce the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the third camera module 150, thereby reducing the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the layout of various functional modules in the main body of the device 100, which helps to reduce the design cost of the electronic device 1000 and improve the product competitiveness of the electronic device 1000.

[0151] Please refer to Figure 19, which is a structural schematic diagram of the seventh electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the second state.

[0152] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the first to fifth types of electronic devices 1000 described above in that, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unfolded position, the connecting arm 200 protrudes relative to the fourth side 1134, and the gimbal camera module 300 is located on the side of the fourth side 1134 away from the third side 1133, and is spaced apart from the fourth side 1134.

[0153] Understandably, the non-centered design of the gimbal camera module 300 can reduce the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the third camera module 150, thereby reducing the impact of the gimbal camera module 300 on the layout of various functional modules in the main body of the device 100, which helps to reduce the design cost of the electronic device 1000 and improve the product competitiveness of the electronic device 1000.

[0154] Please refer to Figures 6, 20 and 21 together. Figure 20 is a structural schematic diagram of the eighth electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 21 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 20 in the second state.

[0155] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the electronic devices 1000 shown in the first to seventh embodiments in that the electronic device 1000 further includes a protective cover 400. The protective cover 400 is fixedly installed on the third surface 341 of the rotating housing 340 and is spaced apart from the fixed base 310, the first rotating base 320, and the second rotating base 330, and covers the pan-tilt camera module 300. The protective cover 400 may also cover the connecting arm 200.

[0156] It should be noted that when the gimbal camera module 300 switches between the retracted and open positions, the gimbal camera module 300 rotates relative to the main body 100 of the device. Since the protective cover 400 is spaced apart from the fixed base 310, the first rotating base 320 and the second rotating base 330, the protective cover 400 will not interfere with the fixed base 310, the first rotating base 320 and the second rotating base 330, which can ensure the smooth rotation of the gimbal camera module 300 relative to the main body 100 of the device and ensure the normal use of the electronic device 1000.

[0157] The protective cover 400 has a first light-transmitting area 401. External light can enter the gimbal camera module 300 through the first light-transmitting area 401. Specifically, the first light-transmitting area 401 is correspondingly arranged to the light-receiving surface of the gimbal camera module 300. The first light-transmitting area 401 is also corresponding to the first light-transmitting hole 343a, the second light-transmitting hole 343b, and the third light-transmitting hole 343c. The main camera module 350a, the wide-angle module 350b, and the telephoto module 350c can all collect external light through the first light-transmitting area 401 to form corresponding image data. It should be noted that the first light-transmitting area 401 can be a through hole, or it can be a portion of the protective cover 400 made of a transparent material such as glass; this application does not impose specific limitations in this regard.

[0158] As shown in Figure 20, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the stored position, and the protective cover 400 covers the storage slot 114. The protective cover 400 prevents the gimbal camera module 300 from being exposed, which not only protects the gimbal camera module 300 and improves the overall aesthetics of the electronic device 1000, but also prevents the gimbal camera module 300 from detaching from the storage slot 114 when the electronic device 1000 is dropped, thus improving the drop reliability of the electronic device 1000. As shown in Figure 21, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the unstored position, and the protective cover 400 is located on the side of the rotating shell 340 facing the display module 120.

[0159] Please refer to Figures 22 and 23. Figure 22 is a structural schematic diagram of the ninth type of electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 23 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 22 in the fourth state.

[0160] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the electronic device 1000 shown in the fourth embodiment above in that the protective cover 400 is mounted on the housing 110 and is movable relative to the housing 110. Specifically, the protective cover 400 is slidable relative to the housing 110. The protective cover 400 is slidably connected to the housing 110. For example, the protective cover 400 can slide relative to the housing 110 along the width direction of the housing 110. It should be noted that the sliding connection between the protective cover 400 and the housing 110 can be achieved through structures such as slide rails, slide grooves, or sliders, and no specific limitations are made here. In some other embodiments, the protective cover 400 can also be rotatably connected to the housing 110. In this case, the protective cover 400 can be flipped or rotated relative to the housing 110, and this application does not make specific limitations in this regard.

[0161] The protective cover 400 has a first position and a second position. As shown in Figure 22, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, and the protective cover 400 is in the second position, with at least a portion of the storage slot 114 and at least a portion of the gimbal camera module 300 exposed relative to the protective cover 400. Specifically, along the width direction of the device body 100, the protective cover 400 is located on one side of the storage slot 114 and the gimbal camera module 300, and is spaced apart from the storage slot 114 and the gimbal camera module 300. At this time, the gimbal camera module 300 is exposed, and the main camera module 350a, wide-angle module 350b, and telephoto module 350c can directly collect external light for shooting. It should be noted that the second position can be any position other than the first position, and this application does not impose specific restrictions on it.

[0162] As shown in Figure 23, when the electronic device 1000 is in the fourth state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, and the protective cover 400 is in the first position, covering the storage slot 114 and the gimbal camera module 300. The protective cover 400 and the gimbal camera module 300 are spaced apart to avoid interference and ensure the normal operation of the gimbal camera module 300. In this state, the protective cover 400 prevents the gimbal camera module 300 from being exposed, protecting it, improving the overall aesthetics of the electronic device 1000, and preventing it from detaching from the storage slot 114 if the electronic device 1000 is dropped, thus improving the drop resistance of the electronic device 1000.

[0163] In some other embodiments, the protective cover 400 may also have a first light-transmitting area 401 (as shown in Figures 20 and 21). When the gimbal camera module 300 is in the retracted position, the protective cover 400 may also be in the first position. The main camera module 350a, the wide-angle module 350b, and the telephoto module 350c can all collect external light through the first light-transmitting area 401 to form corresponding image data. When the gimbal camera module 300 needs to switch between the retracted position and the open position, the protective cover 400 is adjusted to the second position to facilitate the gimbal camera module 300 entering and exiting the storage slot 114, avoid interference between the gimbal camera module 300 and the protective cover 400, and ensure the smooth rotation of the gimbal camera module 300 relative to the main body 100.

[0164] Please refer to Figures 24 and 25. Figure 24 is a structural schematic diagram of the tenth type of electronic device 1000 provided in this application in the first state, and Figure 25 is a structural schematic diagram of the electronic device 1000 shown in Figure 24 in the fifth state.

[0165] The electronic device 1000 shown in this embodiment differs from the eighth and ninth types of electronic devices 1000 described above in that the main body 100 further includes a first magnetic element 180, which is mounted on the housing 110. Specifically, the first magnetic element 180 is correspondingly disposed with respect to the protrusion 119. Multiple first magnetic elements 180 may be present, and these elements are spaced apart. For example, there are three first magnetic elements 180, each corresponding to one protrusion 119.

[0166] The protective cover 400 includes a cover body 410 and a second magnetic element 420. The cover body 410 has a first light-transmitting area 401. It should be noted that the first light-transmitting area 401 can be a through hole, or it can be a portion of the protective cover 400 made of a transparent material such as glass; this application does not impose specific limitations in this regard. The second magnetic element 420 is fixedly installed on the cover body 410 and is spaced apart from the first light-transmitting area 401. Multiple second magnetic elements 420 may be present, and these multiple second magnetic elements 420 are spaced apart. For example, there are three second magnetic elements 420.

[0167] As shown in Figure 24, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, the protective cover 400 is in the first position, and the cover body 410 covers the storage slot 114 and the gimbal camera module 300. Specifically, the first light-transmitting area 401 is correspondingly arranged with the third surface 341 of the rotating shell 340, and the second magnetic component 420 and the first magnetic component 180 are magnetically attracted to each other to ensure the assembly stability between the protective cover 400 and the device body 100. The first light-transmitting area 401 is correspondingly arranged with the first light-transmitting hole 343a and the second light-transmitting hole 343b. Both the main camera module 350a and the wide-angle module 350b can collect external light through the first light-transmitting area 401 to form corresponding image data. At this time, the protective cover 400 and the gimbal camera module 300 are spaced apart to avoid interference between them and ensure the normal operation of the gimbal camera module 300.

[0168] As shown in Figure 25, when the electronic device 1000 is in the fourth state, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, the protective cover 400 is in the second position, the gimbal camera module 300 is in the exposed state, and both the main camera module 350a and the wide-angle module 350b directly collect external light to form corresponding image data.

[0169] In some other embodiments, the protective cover 400 may not have a first light-transmitting area 401. When the gimbal camera module 300 is in the storage position, if it is necessary to use the gimbal camera module 300 for shooting, the protective cover 400 can be adjusted to a second position, where both the main camera module 350a and the wide-angle module 350b can directly collect external light to form corresponding image data. When it is not necessary to use the gimbal camera module 300 for shooting, the protective cover 400 can be adjusted to a closed state to prevent the gimbal camera module 300 from being exposed. This not only protects the gimbal camera module 300 and improves the overall aesthetics of the electronic device 1000, but also prevents the gimbal camera module 300 from detaching from the storage slot 114 when the electronic device 1000 is dropped, thus improving the drop reliability of the electronic device 1000.

[0170] In this embodiment, the electronic device 1000 uses a gimbal camera module 300 to capture images and videos. The gimbal camera module 300 can rotate relative to the main body 100 via the connecting arm 200. Users can adjust the shooting angle of the gimbal camera module 300 by rotating it according to their needs, which helps to improve the flexibility of the electronic device 1000 in shooting and enhances the user experience. Moreover, since the gimbal camera module 300 can be housed in the storage slot 114 of the main body 100, it is not necessary to remove the gimbal camera module 300 from the main body 100 for storage to avoid loss. The storage slot 114 also protects the gimbal camera module 300. The gimbal camera module 300 can also reuse the space of the main body 100, reducing the space occupied by the gimbal camera module 300. This not only helps to achieve a thinner and lighter design of the electronic device 1000, but also makes it convenient for users to hold the electronic device 1000 for a long time, which helps to improve the user experience.

[0171] Furthermore, when the electronic device 1000 is shooting during strenuous activities such as running or cycling, the gimbal camera module 300, with its excellent image stabilization capabilities, can compensate for significant camera shake, greatly improving the stability of the footage captured by the electronic device 1000, enhancing image clarity, and improving the user experience. Moreover, the gimbal camera module 300 features professional-grade follow and zoom coordination control functions, increasing the playability of the electronic device 1000 during shooting and further enhancing the user experience.
