Heat exchange components, battery devices and electrical devices

[0001] Cross-reference to related applications

[0002] This disclosure is based on and claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510485753.4, filed on April 17, 2025, entitled “Heat Exchange Components, Battery Devices and Electrical Devices”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0003] This disclosure relates to the field of battery technology, and in particular to a heat exchange component, a battery device, and an electrical device. Background Technology

[0004] In new energy vehicles equipped with battery devices, the battery devices can provide all or part of the power. During the use of the battery devices, the individual battery cells generate heat. If this heat is too high, it will adversely affect the performance and lifespan of the battery device. Therefore, how to effectively dissipate heat from the individual battery cells while reducing the weight of the heat exchange components has become an important research direction in this field. Summary of the Invention

[0005] In view of this, the present disclosure aims to provide a heat exchange component, a battery device, and an electrical device that can reduce the weight of the heat exchange component to a certain extent.

[0006] Therefore, a first aspect of the present disclosure provides a battery device, comprising:

[0007] Enclosure assembly;

[0008] Multiple battery cells are housed within the housing assembly.

[0009] A heat exchange assembly includes at least two heat exchange elements, at least one of which is a flexible element and at least one of which is a rigid element. The flexible element and the rigid element are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel. The at least one medium flow channel is used to conduct heat exchange medium, which is used to exchange heat with multiple battery cells. The flexible element includes a metal plastic film.

[0010] In this design, a portion of the rigid component is recessed to form at least one weight-reducing groove.

[0011] The battery device provided in this disclosure includes a housing assembly, a heat exchange assembly, and multiple battery cells. The battery cells are disposed within the housing assembly, which protects the battery cell assembly. The heat exchange assembly exchanges heat with the battery cell assembly. On one hand, by making at least one heat exchange element a flexible element, the lighter weight of the flexible element helps reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly, lowering its production cost and consequently reducing the weight of the battery device. On the other hand, by making at least one heat exchange element a rigid element, with the flexible and rigid elements stacked to form at least one medium flow channel, the rigid element can support the flexible element, improving the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly and further enhancing its heat exchange efficiency and effect. Furthermore, by using a rigid element, the heat exchange assembly has sufficient structural strength to support the battery cells, improving its applicability. Additionally, by recessing a portion of the rigid element to form at least one weight-reducing groove, the weight of the heat exchange assembly is further reduced. Furthermore, by incorporating a metal plasticized film into the flexible component, the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly can be reduced. This is because the metal plasticized film is thin and lightweight, and because it forms a media flow channel between the film and the heat exchange component, it is unaffected by the extrusion process and does not need to meet large thickness requirements. Simultaneously, the insulating properties of the heat exchange assembly reduce the possibility of insulation failure. This also lowers the risk of the heat exchange assembly reacting with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, further reducing the possibility of corrosion and leakage of the heat exchange medium.

[0012] In some embodiments, there are multiple weight-reducing grooves, which are arranged in an array on the rigid component.

[0013] In this embodiment, by distributing multiple weight-reducing grooves in an array on the rigid component, it is easy to process and easy to set up the medium flow channel.

[0014] In some embodiments, there are multiple weight-reduction grooves, which extend along a first direction and are arranged along a second direction. The first and second directions are perpendicular to the height direction of the battery device.

[0015] In this embodiment, by distributing multiple weight-reducing grooves in multiple rows or columns on the rigid component, it is easy to process and easy to set up the medium flow channel.

[0016] In some embodiments, the weight-reducing groove penetrates the rigid member along its thickness direction.

[0017] In this embodiment, by extending the weight-reducing groove through the rigid part along its thickness direction, the forming method is simple, which is beneficial to improving manufacturing efficiency and further reducing weight.

[0018] In some embodiments, the heat exchange assembly includes a first heat exchange assembly disposed on the bottom side of the battery cell.

[0019] The first heat exchange component being located on the bottom side of the battery cell means that, along the height direction of the housing assembly, the first heat exchange component is located below the battery cell.

[0020] In some embodiments, the first heat exchange component is disposed within the housing assembly, and the rigid component of the first heat exchange component is closer to the battery cell than the flexible component of the first heat exchange component.

[0021] In this embodiment, by setting the rigid component of the first heat exchange assembly to be closer to the battery cell than the flexible component of the first heat exchange assembly, the rigid component can support the battery cell, which helps to improve the situation where the flexible component is damaged due to force and improves the reliability of the heat exchange assembly.

[0022] In some embodiments, the heat exchange assembly includes a second heat exchange assembly disposed on the top side of the battery cell.

[0023] In this embodiment, the second heat exchange component is disposed on the top side of the battery cell, which means it does not need to bear the weight of the battery cell. As a result, the structural strength requirements of the heat exchange component can be relatively reduced, which is conducive to reducing costs and improving reliability, and also helps to further reduce the weight of the heat exchange component.

[0024] In some embodiments, the heat exchange assembly includes a third heat exchange assembly disposed on at least one side of the battery cell along a first direction and / or a second direction, the first direction and the second direction being perpendicular to the height direction of the battery device.

[0025] In this embodiment, the third heat exchange component is disposed on at least one side of at least one side of the battery cell along the first direction and / or the second direction, which means that it does not need to bear the weight of the battery cell. Thus, the structural strength requirements of the heat exchange component can be relatively reduced, which is conducive to reducing costs and improving reliability, and is also conducive to further reducing the weight of the heat exchange component.

[0026] In some embodiments, the thermal conductivity of the flexible member that is relatively closer to the battery cell is greater than that of the rigid member that is relatively farther away from the battery cell.

[0027] In this way, on the one hand, it is beneficial to improve the heat exchange efficiency by allowing the heat exchange medium to exchange heat with the battery cells through heat exchange components that are relatively close to the battery cells. On the other hand, it can reduce the situation where the heat of the heat exchange medium diffuses to the outside through heat exchange components that are relatively far away from the battery cells, thereby improving the heat insulation performance of the heat exchange components and further improving the heat exchange efficiency.

[0028] In some embodiments, the elastic modulus of at least a portion of the flexible element is less than that of the rigid element.

[0029] In some embodiments, the flexible element includes an aluminum-plastic film.

[0030] Aluminum-plastic film has high barrier properties, good cold stamping formability, puncture resistance, electrolyte stability, and electrical insulation.

[0031] In some embodiments, the flexible element has a layered structure, comprising a metal layer and a non-metal layer, which are stacked sequentially.

[0032] In this embodiment, the flexible component, composed of sequentially stacked metal and non-metal layers, is thin and lightweight. Furthermore, by forming a media flow channel between the flexible and rigid components, it is unaffected by the extrusion process and does not need to meet large thickness requirements, thus reducing the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly. In addition, the heat exchange assembly does not react with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, therefore eliminating the possibility of corrosion and leakage.

[0033] In some embodiments, the metal layer includes one or more of aluminum foil, copper foil, and steel foil; and / or,

[0034] The non-metallic layer includes one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide, and polyethylene.

[0035] By using one or more of aluminum foil, copper foil, and steel foil as the metal layer, the flexible component can have a certain structural strength and can play an isolation role.

[0036] By setting the non-metallic layer to one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide, and polyethylene, the flexible component can be made waterproof.

[0037] In some embodiments, the non-metallic layer is a hot-melt layer.

[0038] Here, by setting the non-metallic layer as a hot-melt layer, that is, a hot-melt material, it is advantageous to combine the non-metallic layer and the metallic layer together through hot melting, which is simple to form and has high production efficiency.

[0039] In some embodiments, the flexible element has a layered structure, comprising a first anti-corrosion layer, an isolation layer, and a second anti-corrosion layer arranged sequentially, wherein the first anti-corrosion layer is closer to the medium flow channel than the second anti-corrosion layer.

[0040] In this embodiment, by setting the flexible component to include a first anti-corrosion layer, an isolation layer and a second anti-corrosion layer arranged in sequence, the second anti-corrosion layer is closer to the medium flow channel than the first anti-corrosion layer, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the heat exchange component.

[0041] In some embodiments, the thickness of the flexible element is 0.05mm-0.3mm.

[0042] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the flexible component to 0.05mm-0.3mm, the heat exchange component made of the flexible component has a certain structural strength while the overall thickness of the heat exchange component is small, which is beneficial to reduce the overall volume and weight of the battery device and increase the energy density of the battery device.

[0043] In some embodiments, the rigid member is made of metal.

[0044] In this embodiment, by setting the rigid component as a metal component, the metal component has both good structural strength and good thermal conductivity. In other words, while ensuring that the heat exchange component has a certain heat exchange efficiency, the rigid component can also provide some support for the flexible component.

[0045] In some embodiments, the elastic modulus of the flexible element is 0.1 MPa-10000 MPa.

[0046] In this embodiment, by setting the elastic modulus of the flexible component to 0.1MPa-10000MPa, the flexible component has a certain structural strength, which improves the reliability of the heat exchange assembly, and also has a certain deformation capacity. This can improve the fit between the heat exchange assembly and the housing and / or battery cells, thereby increasing the effective heat exchange area between the heat exchange assembly and the housing and / or battery cells, and thus improving the heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange effect of the heat exchange assembly.

[0047] A second aspect of this disclosure provides a heat exchange assembly, which includes at least two heat exchange elements, at least one of which is a flexible element and at least one of which is a rigid element. The flexible element and the rigid element are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel. The at least one medium flow channel is used to conduct heat exchange medium, which is used to exchange heat with a battery cell. The flexible element includes a metal plastic film.

[0048] In this design, a portion of the rigid component is recessed to form at least one weight-reducing groove.

[0049] The heat exchange assembly provided in this disclosure is used for heat exchange with battery cells. On one hand, by setting at least one heat exchange element as a flexible element, the lighter weight of the flexible element helps reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly, thereby lowering its production cost and the weight of the battery device. On the other hand, by setting at least one heat exchange element as a rigid element, with the flexible and rigid elements stacked to form at least one medium flow channel, the rigid element can support the flexible element, improving the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly, further enhancing its heat exchange efficiency and effect. Furthermore, by setting the rigid element, the heat exchange assembly has sufficient structural strength to support the battery cells, improving its applicability. In another aspect, by recessing a portion of the rigid element to form at least one weight-reducing groove, the weight of the heat exchange assembly is further reduced. Moreover, by setting the flexible element to include a metal plasticized film, the thinness and light weight of the metal plasticized film, and the formation of a medium flow channel between the metal plasticized film and the heat exchange element, make it unaffected by the extrusion process and exempt from large thickness requirements, thus reducing the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly. Furthermore, the insulating properties of the heat exchange components reduce the likelihood of insulation failure. This lowers the risk of the heat exchange components reacting with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, further reducing the possibility of corrosion and leakage of the heat exchange medium.

[0050] A third aspect of this disclosure provides an electrical device, including the battery device described above or the heat exchange component described above.

[0051] The battery device of the electrical device provided in this disclosure includes a housing assembly, a heat exchange assembly, and multiple battery cells. The multiple battery cells are disposed within the housing assembly, which protects the battery cell assembly. The heat exchange assembly is used for heat exchange with the battery cell assembly. On one hand, by making at least one heat exchange element a flexible element, the lighter weight of the flexible element helps reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly, lowers its production cost, and also helps reduce the weight of the battery device. On the other hand, by making at least one heat exchange element a rigid element, with the flexible and rigid elements stacked to form at least one medium flow channel, the rigid element can support the flexible element, which helps improve the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly, further improving the heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange effect. In addition, by setting a rigid element, the heat exchange assembly has sufficient structural strength to support the battery cells, improving the applicability of the heat exchange assembly. Furthermore, by recessing a portion of the rigid element to form at least one weight-reducing groove, the weight of the heat exchange assembly is further reduced. [0062] Unless otherwise specified, all technical features and optional technical features of this disclosure can be combined to form new technical solutions.

[0063] With the development of clean energy, more and more devices are using electricity as their driving force, leading to the rapid development of power batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries, which can store a large amount of electrical energy and can be repeatedly charged and discharged. These power batteries are not only used in energy storage systems such as hydropower, thermal power, wind power, and solar power plants, but are also widely used in electric vehicles such as electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, and electric cars, as well as in aerospace and other fields.

[0064] In this embodiment of the disclosure, the battery cell can be a secondary battery, which refers to a battery cell that can be recharged to activate the active materials and continue to be used after the battery cell has been discharged.

[0065] The battery cell can be a lithium-ion battery, sodium-ion battery, sodium-lithium-ion battery, lithium metal battery, sodium metal battery, lithium-sulfur battery, magnesium-ion battery, nickel-metal hydride battery, nickel-cadmium battery, lead-acid battery, etc., and the embodiments disclosed herein are not limited to this.

[0066] A single battery cell typically includes an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, with the separator positioned between the positive and negative electrodes. During the charging and discharging process of a single battery cell, active ions (such as lithium ions) repeatedly insert and extract between the positive and negative electrodes. The separator, positioned between the positive and negative electrodes, prevents short circuits while allowing active ions to pass through.

[0067] The electrode assembly can be a wound structure, a stacked structure, or a hybrid structure of wound and stacked.

[0068] In some implementations, the electrode assembly is a wound structure. The positive and negative electrode sheets are wound into a wound structure.

[0069] In some implementations, the electrode assembly is a stacked structure.

[0070] As an example, multiple positive and negative electrodes can be set, and multiple positive and multiple negative electrodes can be stacked alternately.

[0071] As an example, multiple positive electrode plates can be provided, and negative electrode plates can be folded to form multiple stacked folded segments, with a positive electrode plate sandwiched between adjacent folded segments.

[0072] As an example, both the positive and negative electrode plates are folded to form multiple stacked folded segments.

[0073] As an example, multiple separators can be provided, each positioned between any adjacent positive or negative electrode plates.

[0074] As an example, the separators can be continuously arranged, either by folding or rolling between any adjacent positive or negative electrode plates.

[0075] In some embodiments, the electrode assembly can be cylindrical, flat, or polygonal, etc.

[0076] In some embodiments, the electrode assembly has tabs that allow current to be drawn from the electrode assembly. The tabs include a positive tab and a negative tab.

[0077] In some embodiments, the battery cell may include a casing. The casing may be a steel casing, an aluminum casing, a plastic casing (such as a polypropylene casing), a composite metal casing (such as a copper-aluminum composite casing), or an aluminum-plastic film, etc. In some embodiments, the casing may be a sealed structure or a non-sealed structure. As an example, when the casing is a non-sealed structure, the casing serves to protect the electrode assembly, and a sealing bag is included between the casing and the electrode assembly to encapsulate the electrode assembly and electrolyte. Specifically, the sealing bag may be a bag-shaped insulating component or an aluminum-plastic film. When the casing is a sealed structure, it is used to encapsulate components such as the electrode assembly and electrolyte.

[0078] As an example, the battery cell can be a cylindrical battery cell, a prismatic battery cell, a pouch battery cell, or a battery cell of other shapes. Prismatic battery cells include prismatic battery cells, blade-shaped battery cells, and multi-prismatic batteries, such as hexagonal prismatic batteries. This disclosure does not impose any particular limitations.

[0079] In some embodiments, the housing includes an end cap and a housing, the housing having an opening, and the end cap covering the opening. The housing may have one or more openings. The end cap may also have one or more.

[0080] In some embodiments, at least one electrode terminal is provided on the housing, and the electrode terminal is electrically connected to the tab. The electrode terminal can be directly connected to the tab, or it can be indirectly connected to the tab through a current collector. The electrode terminal can be provided on the end cap or on the housing.

[0081] In some embodiments, energy storage devices include energy storage containers, energy storage cabinets, etc.

[0082] During the use of a battery device, the individual battery cells generate heat. Excessive heat can negatively impact the performance and lifespan of the battery device. Therefore, effectively dissipating heat from the battery cells while reducing the weight of the heat exchange components has become an important research direction in this field. Related technologies utilize a cooling system installed within the battery device housing to cool the individual battery cells. This cooling system may include multiple aluminum water-cooled plates laid within the battery device housing, with the surfaces of these plates in contact with the surfaces of the individual battery cells. During use, a heat exchange medium, such as water, flows through these water-cooled plates, carrying away heat from the battery cells and cooling them down. However, the aluminum water-cooled plates in this cooling system are quite heavy.

[0083] In view of this, to reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly, this disclosure provides a battery device including a housing assembly, a heat exchange assembly, and multiple battery cells. The multiple battery cells are disposed within the housing assembly. The heat exchange assembly includes at least two heat exchange elements, at least one of which is a flexible element and at least one of which is a rigid element. The flexible element and the rigid element are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel for conducting heat exchange medium, which exchanges heat with the multiple battery cells. The flexible element includes a metallized film. A portion of the rigid element is recessed to form at least one weight-reducing groove.

[0084] The battery device provided in this disclosure includes a housing assembly, a heat exchange assembly, and multiple battery cells.

[0085] The technical solutions described in this disclosure are applicable to electrical devices that use battery devices. The electrical device includes the battery device according to any embodiment of this disclosure, and the battery device is used to provide electrical energy.

[0086] Electrical devices can include vehicles, mobile phones, portable devices, laptops, ships, spacecraft, electric toys, and power tools, etc. Vehicles can be gasoline-powered cars, natural gas-powered cars, or new energy vehicles; new energy vehicles can be pure electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, or range-extended electric vehicles, etc. Spacecraft include airplanes, rockets, space shuttles, and spacecraft, etc. Electric toys include stationary or mobile electric toys, such as game consoles, electric car toys, electric ship toys, and electric airplane toys, etc. Power tools include metal cutting power tools, grinding power tools, assembly power tools, and railway power tools, such as electric drills, electric grinders, electric wrenches, electric screwdrivers, electric hammers, impact drills, concrete vibrators, and electric planers, etc. This disclosure does not impose any special limitations on the above-mentioned electrical devices.

[0087] It should be noted that the technical solutions described in this disclosure are not limited to the battery devices described above, but can also be applied to all electrical devices and energy storage devices that include battery devices. However, for the sake of brevity, the following embodiments are all described using electric vehicles as examples.

[0088] Referring to Figure 1, a controller 200, a motor 300, and a battery device 100 can be installed inside the vehicle 100. The controller 200 controls the battery device 100 to supply power to the motor 300. For example, the battery device 100 can be installed at the bottom, front, or rear of the vehicle 1000. The battery device 100 can be used to power the vehicle 1000. For example, the battery device 100 can serve as the operating power source for the vehicle 1000's electrical system, such as meeting the power requirements for starting, navigation, and operation of the vehicle 1000. [0089] Referring to Figure 2, to meet different power demands, the battery device 100 includes multiple battery cells 10, where each battery cell 10 is the smallest unit that makes up a battery module or battery pack. Multiple battery cells 10 can be connected in series, parallel, or in a mixed configuration, where some cells are connected in series and others in parallel. Each battery cell 10 can be a secondary battery or a primary battery; it can also be a lithium-sulfur battery, a sodium-ion battery, or a magnesium-ion battery, but is not limited to these. The battery cell 10 can be cylindrical, flat, cuboid, or other shapes.

[0090] Referring to Figures 2 to 8, this disclosure provides a battery device 100, which includes a housing assembly 20, a heat exchange assembly 30, and a plurality of battery cells 10. The plurality of battery cells 10 are disposed within the housing assembly 20. The heat exchange assembly 30 includes at least two heat exchange elements, at least one of which is a flexible element 31 and at least one of which is a rigid element 32. The flexible element 31 and the rigid element 32 are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel 312, which is used to conduct a heat exchange medium for heat exchange with the plurality of battery cells 10. The flexible element 31 includes a metallized film. A portion of the rigid element 32 is recessed to form at least one weight-reducing groove 321.

[0091] The enclosure component 20 can be a simple three-dimensional structure such as a cuboid, cylinder, or sphere, or a complex three-dimensional structure composed of simple three-dimensional structures such as cuboids, cylinders, or spheres. The material of the enclosure component 20 can be an alloy material such as aluminum alloy or iron alloy, a polymer material such as polycarbonate or polyisocyanurate foam, or a composite material such as glass fiber and epoxy resin.

[0092] The housing assembly 20 is used to encapsulate the battery cell 10, and the housing assembly 20 can prevent liquids or other foreign objects from affecting the charging or discharging of the battery cell 10.

[0093] For example, the housing assembly 20 is typically a cuboid structure. Both the length and width directions of the housing assembly 20 are parallel to the horizontal plane, and the length direction of the housing assembly 20 is parallel to the longest side of its cuboid structure. The height direction of the housing assembly 20 is perpendicular to the ground. For example, as shown in Figure 2, the length direction of the housing assembly 20 is represented by X, the width direction by Y, and the height direction by Z; or, the length direction of the housing assembly 20 is represented by Y, and the width direction by X.

[0094] Referring to Figures 3 to 8, this embodiment of the present disclosure provides a heat exchange assembly 30, which includes at least two heat exchange elements. At least one heat exchange element is configured as a flexible element 31, and at least one heat exchange element is configured as a rigid element 32. The flexible element 31 and the rigid element 32 are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel 312. The at least one medium flow channel 312 is used to conduct heat exchange medium for exchanging heat with multiple battery cells 10. The flexible element 31 includes a metal plasticized film. A portion of the rigid element 32 is recessed to form at least one weight-reducing groove 321.

[0095] Here, the flexibility in the flexible component 31 refers to the material properties of the structure. This type of property can be due to the material's light weight, or it can be due to at least one of the material's properties such as thickness, stiffness, strength, elastic modulus, and elongation at break. As an example, the material of the flexible component 31 can be selected as a material that is lighter than conventional aluminum plates, steel plates, etc., and its flexibility can be controlled by the thickness, width, length, and type of material of the flexible component 31. By setting the heat exchange assembly 30 to include the flexible component 31 in this embodiment, it is beneficial to reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0096] Here, the rigidity of the rigid component 32 refers to the material properties of the structure. This type of property can be due to the large mass of the material, or it can be due to at least one of the following properties: thickness, stiffness, strength, elastic modulus, elongation at break, etc. As an example, the material of the rigid component 32 can be selected as a metal plate such as a conventional aluminum plate or steel plate, or a composite material, etc., and its rigidity can be controlled by the thickness, width, length, and type of material of the rigid component 32. By setting the heat exchange assembly 30 to include the rigid component 32, the flexible component 31 can be supported, which is beneficial to improving the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0097] For example, the elongation at break of the flexible member 31 is greater than that of the rigid member 32.

[0098] Elongation at break is a percentage of a material's length before it breaks under tension, relative to its original length. It measures a material's ability to withstand deformation during tension; in other words, elongation at break represents a material's ductility under tensile stress.

[0099] The elongation at break of the flexible component 31 is greater than that of the rigid component 32. In other words, when subjected to tensile stress, the elongation of the flexible component 31 is greater than that of the rigid component 32.

[0100] By configuring the heat exchange assembly 30 to include a flexible element 31 and a rigid element 32, and the elongation at break of the flexible element 31 is greater than that of the rigid element 32, it is beneficial to improve the impact resistance, cushioning performance and puncture resistance of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0101] For example, the flexible member 31 is disposed on the side of the rigid member 32 opposite to the battery cell 10.

[0102] By placing the flexible element 31 on the side of the rigid element 32 away from the battery cell 10, that is, the flexible element 31 does not directly contact the battery cell 10, the situation where the battery cell 10 squeezes the flexible element 31 due to thermal expansion can be avoided, or the situation where the battery cell 10 squeezes the flexible element 31 under the action of gravity can be avoided to a certain extent, thus preventing the battery cell 10 from crushing the medium flow channel 312, thereby improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0103] For example, at least a portion of the elastic modulus of the flexible member 31 is less than that of the rigid member 32.

[0104] Furthermore, by setting the elastic modulus of at least a portion of the flexible member 31 to be less than that of the rigid member 32, it is beneficial to improve the impact resistance and puncture resistance of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0105] Here, the elastic modulus of a portion of the flexible component 31 may be less than that of the rigid component 32, or the elastic modulus of the entire flexible component 31 may be less than that of the rigid component 32.

[0106] By configuring the heat exchange component 30 to include a flexible component 31 and a rigid component 32, the heat exchange component 30 can have a flexible function while also having a certain structural strength.

[0107] The flexible function of the heat exchange component 30 allows the heat exchange surface of the heat exchange component 30 to fit better with the battery cell 10, further improving the heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange effect of the heat exchange component 30.

[0108] The flexible element 31 and the rigid element 32 are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel 312. This means that the heat exchange assembly 30 forms the medium flow channel 312 between the flexible element 31 and the rigid element 32. In other words, the flexible element 31 constitutes at least a portion of the sidewall of the medium flow channel 312, and the rigid element 32 also constitutes at least a portion of the sidewall of the medium flow channel 312. The heat exchange medium flows within the medium flow channel 312 to achieve heat exchange with the battery cell 10.

[0109] It should be noted that the specific type of heat exchange medium is not limited here, as long as it can achieve a heat exchange effect on the battery cell 10, such as being gaseous or liquid. In this embodiment, a coolant is used as an example for description.

[0110] It should be noted that the specific number of medium flow channels 312 is not limited here. There can be one or more.

[0111] The heat exchange assembly 30 includes at least two heat exchange elements, that is, the number of heat exchange elements is multiple.

[0112] The phrase "at least one heat exchanger is configured as a flexible element 31" means that the number of flexible elements 31 is one or more. In embodiments where multiple heat exchangers are configured as flexible elements 31, the flexible elements 31 may be the same or different.

[0113] The phrase "at least one heat exchanger is a rigid member 32" means that the number of rigid members 32 is one or more. In embodiments where multiple heat exchangers are configured as rigid members 32, the rigid members 32 may be the same or different.

[0114] For example, the heat exchange assembly 30 includes two heat exchange elements, one of which is a flexible element 31 and the other is a rigid element 32.

[0115] For example, the rigid member 32 is a rigid plate structure that can support the flexible member 31, thereby improving the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0116] For example, the rigid member 32 can also be stamped or welded to form a specific structure as needed for support or other functions.

[0117] For example, the heat exchange assembly 30 also includes an inlet and an outlet, both of which are connected to the medium flow channel 312.

[0118] Here, the inlet and outlet of the heat exchange component 30 are used to connect to the air conditioning system of the vehicle or electrical device or liquid storage device such as a water tank.

[0119] For example, referring to Figure 3, the heat exchange assembly 30 also includes a connector 34 having an inlet and a connector 34 having an outlet, the connector 34 being connected to the rigid member 32.

[0120] For example, the connector 34 is brazed to the rigid member 32.

[0121] For example, connector 34 is a water tap.

[0122] The principle of heat exchange component 30 for heat exchange of battery cell 10 is as follows: the heat exchange medium output from the heat exchange medium source (not shown in the figure) enters the medium flow channel 312 through the inlet of heat exchange component 30. After the heat exchange medium exchanges heat with battery cell 10, the heat exchange medium flows out through the outlet of heat exchange component 30, thus completing the heat exchange of battery cell 10.

[0123] Here, the heat exchange component 30 can exchange heat with the battery cell 10 by either dissipating heat from the battery cell 10 or by heating the battery cell 10.

[0124] The principle of heat exchange component 30 for heat dissipation of battery cell 10 is as follows: the heat exchange medium output from the heat exchange medium source enters the medium flow channel 312 through the inlet of heat exchange component 30. After the heat exchange medium absorbs the heat generated by battery cell 10 during operation, the heat exchange medium flows out through the outlet of heat exchange component 30, releasing heat and completing the cooling and heat dissipation of battery cell 10.

[0125] The principle of the heat exchange component 30 heating the battery cell 10 is as follows: the heat exchange medium output from the heat exchange medium source enters the medium flow channel 312 through the inlet of the heat exchange component 30, and the heat exchange medium transfers heat to the battery cell 10. After heating the battery cell 10, the heat exchange medium flows out through the outlet of the heat exchange component 30, thus completing the heating of the battery cell 10.

[0126] The flexible component 31 is configured as a flexible structure. The flexible component 31 has certain expandable or contractible characteristics. It can also be understood that the flexible component 31 can be an elastically deformable structure. The flexible component 31 has the ability to deform and recover its deformation, so that the heat exchange assembly 30 can be formed into a contoured structure. The heat exchange assembly 30 can better adapt to the external contour shape of the battery cell 10 or other components, so as to improve the fit between the heat exchange assembly 30 and the housing assembly 20 and / or the battery cell 10, thereby increasing the effective heat exchange area between the heat exchange assembly 30 and the housing assembly 20 and / or the battery cell 10, and thus improving the heat exchange efficiency.

[0127] It should be noted that the flexible component 31 can be conductive, which is beneficial for maintaining an equipotential setting with the housing assembly 20; the flexible component 31 can also be electrically insulating, eliminating the need for insulation treatment, which helps reduce the leakage risk and production cost of the battery device 100, thereby improving the reliability of the battery device 100.

[0128] It should be noted that the specific location of the heat exchange component 30 is not restricted here.

[0129] For example, in some embodiments, please refer to FIG2, the housing assembly 20 and the heat exchange assembly 30 are arranged to form a receiving cavity 23, and the battery cell 10 is disposed in the receiving cavity 23.

[0130] In other words, the heat exchange component 30 forms the cavity wall of the receiving cavity 23. This helps to reduce the amount of material used in the housing component 20, and further helps to reduce the weight and cost of the battery device 100. In addition, it allows the heat exchange component 30 to directly contact the battery cell 10, further improving the heat exchange efficiency between the heat exchange component 30 and the battery cell 10.

[0131] For example, the heat exchange assembly 30 forms the bottom wall of the receiving cavity 23, and the battery cell 10 is supported by the heat exchange assembly 30, that is, the heat exchange assembly 30 can be used to support the weight of the battery cell 10.

[0132] For example, the rigid member 32 is connected to the housing assembly 20 by means of welding or screwing.

[0133] Specifically, the rigid component 32 and the housing assembly 20 can be connected using FSW (friction stir welding) and FDS (flow drill screw process).

[0134] In other embodiments, the heat exchange component 30 may be disposed inside the housing assembly 20, meaning it can directly contact the battery cell 10. Alternatively, it may be disposed outside the housing assembly 20, meaning the housing assembly 20 has a receiving cavity 23, and the heat exchange component 30 is disposed outside the receiving cavity 23, transferring heat through an intermediate medium to achieve heat exchange between the heat exchange component 30 and the battery cell 10.

[0135] That is, at least some of the heat exchange components 30 are disposed on the outside of the housing assembly 20 in order to separate the heat exchange components 30 from the battery cells 10.

[0136] The housing assembly 20 is used to accommodate the battery cell 10, and the housing assembly 20 can have various structures. In some embodiments, referring to FIG2, the housing assembly 20 includes a housing body 21, which may include a first housing portion 211 and a second housing portion 212. The first housing portion 211 and the second housing portion 212 cover each other, and the first housing portion 211, the second housing portion 212 and the heat exchange assembly 30 together define a receiving space for accommodating the battery cell 10.

[0137] For example, the second housing portion 212 may be a frame structure with openings at both ends, the first housing portion 211 may be a plate structure, the first housing portion 211 may cover the opening at one end of the second housing portion 212, and the heat exchange assembly 30 may be disposed at the opening at the other end of the second housing portion 212 to form a receiving cavity 23.

[0138] The first box portion 211 and the second box portion 212 can both be hollow structures with an opening on one side. The opening side of the first box portion 211 covers the opening side of the second box portion 212 to form a box body 21 with a receiving space. Of course, the first box portion 211 and the second box portion 212 can be various shapes, such as cylinders, cuboids, etc.

[0139] To improve the sealing performance after the first housing part 211 and the second housing part 212 are connected, a sealing element, such as sealant or sealing ring, can also be provided between the first housing part 211 and the second housing part 212.

[0140] Assuming that the first box part 211 covers the top of the second box part 212, the first box part 211 can also be called the upper box cover, and the second box part 212 can also be called the lower box cover.

[0141] For example, referring to FIG2, the battery device 100 also includes a bottom cover plate 22, which is disposed on the side of the heat exchange assembly 30 away from the battery cell 10.

[0142] Here, by setting the bottom guard plate 22 on the side of the heat exchange assembly 30 away from the battery cell 10, it can be used to protect the heat exchange assembly 30 and the housing assembly 20, reduce the impact of external debris on the housing assembly 20 during driving, and improve the reliability of the battery device 100.

[0143] In some embodiments, please refer to Figures 5 to 7, the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 are formed by hot pressing to form a hot pressing region 311 and a medium flow channel 312, and the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 are connected to each other in at least a portion of the hot pressing region 311.

[0144] In other words, the flexible part 31 and the rigid part 32 are connected by hot pressing, and the hot pressing forms a hot pressing area 311 and a medium flow channel 312. The flow channel area is used to guide the medium flow channel 312. This molding method is simple.

[0145] Here, the flexible component 31 is sealed by hot pressing. The hot pressing process can effectively ensure that the heat exchange component 30 has good sealing performance and is not easy to crack.

[0146] In this embodiment, the flexible component 31 is sealed by a hot pressing process, that is, a hot pressing region 311 is formed by hot pressing. The hot pressing region 311 divides the heat exchange component 30 to form at least one medium flow channel 312. This molding method is simple.

[0147] For example, the hot-pressing region 311 includes a heat-sealed region and a non-heat-sealed region. The non-heat-sealed region and the medium flow channel 312 are located on both sides of the heat-sealed region, which helps to reduce the width of the heat-sealed region and improve the problem of excessive temperature caused by an excessively wide heat-sealed region, which affects the hot-pressing quality and damages the flexible component 31. In addition, the non-heat-sealed region can also form a stress-relieving buffer when the flexible component 31 is folded, which improves the situation where stress concentration occurs in the heat-sealed region and causes damage to the heat-sealed region.

[0148] In related technologies, the heat exchange component 30 is formed by welding high-strength aluminum alloy. However, high-strength aluminum alloys (5 series, 6 series, etc.) have a high alloy content, and alloying elements will precipitate during welding, affecting the welding quality.

[0149] In this embodiment, the heat exchange component 30 is configured to include a flexible component 31 and a rigid component 32. The flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 are hot-pressed to form a hot-pressed region 311 and a medium flow channel 312. The hot-pressing temperature (150℃±10℃) is lower than the brazing temperature in related technologies, so alloying elements will not precipitate, which is beneficial to further improve the structural strength of the heat exchange component 30.

[0150] For example, at least one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 includes a corrosion-resistant layer.

[0151] The flexible component 31 may include an anti-corrosion layer, the rigid component 32 may include an anti-corrosion layer, or both the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 may include an anti-corrosion layer.

[0152] Here, by setting an anti-corrosion layer, the problem of corrosion of the heat exchange components 30 by heat exchange medium, external corrosive substances, etc. can be improved.

[0153] Thermal conductivity is a physical quantity that measures a material's ability to conduct heat. It refers to the amount of heat transferred through a 1-meter-thick material with a 1-degree Celsius (K or °C) temperature difference between its two surfaces in one second, under steady-state heat transfer conditions, across a 1-square-meter area. A higher thermal conductivity corresponds to better thermal conductivity.

[0154] By making the thermal conductivity of the flexible component 31, which is relatively closer to the battery cell 10, greater than that of the rigid component 32, that is, the flexible component 31 can be closer to the battery cell 10 than the rigid component 32, or the rigid component 32 can be closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible component 31. In other words, the thermal conductivity of the heat exchange component closer to the battery cell 10 is greater than that of the heat exchange component farther away from the battery cell 10. Or, if the flexible component 31 is closer to the battery cell 10 than the rigid component 32, then the thermal conductivity of the flexible component 31 is greater than that of the rigid component 32. If the rigid component 32 is closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible component 31, then the thermal conductivity of the rigid component 32 is greater than that of the flexible component 31.

[0155] In this way, on the one hand, it is beneficial to improve the heat exchange efficiency by allowing the heat exchange medium to exchange heat with the battery cell 10 through the heat exchange element that is relatively close to the battery cell 10. On the other hand, it can reduce the situation where the heat of the heat exchange medium diffuses to the outside through the heat exchange element that is relatively far away from the battery cell 10, thereby improving the heat insulation performance of the heat exchange assembly 30 and further improving the heat exchange efficiency.

[0156] The number of weight reduction grooves 321 can be one or more.

[0157] In some embodiments, the flexible element 31 includes a metallized film.

[0158] The flexible component 31 is a single-layer or multi-layer thin film.

[0159] Here, the metal plastic film is a metal-plastic composite material, which includes a metal layer and a plastic layer.

[0160] The battery device 100 provided in this embodiment includes a housing assembly 20, a heat exchange assembly 30, and a plurality of battery cells 10. The plurality of battery cells 10 are disposed within the housing assembly 20, which protects the battery cell assembly 10. The heat exchange assembly 30 is used to exchange heat with the battery cell assembly 10. On the one hand, by setting at least one heat exchange element as a flexible element 31, the lightweight nature of the flexible element 31 helps to reduce the weight of the heat exchange assembly 30, thereby reducing its production cost and the weight of the battery device 100. On the other hand, by setting at least one heat exchange element as a rigid element 32, the flexible element 31 and the rigid element 32 are stacked to form at least one medium flow channel 312. The rigid element 32 can support the flexible element 31, which helps to improve the overall structural strength and stability of the heat exchange assembly 30, further improving the heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange effect of the heat exchange assembly 30. In addition, by setting the rigid element 32, the heat exchange assembly 30 has sufficient structural strength to support the battery cells 10, improving the applicability of the heat exchange assembly 30. On the other hand, by recessing a portion of the rigid member 32 to form at least one weight-reducing groove 321, the weight of the heat exchange assembly 30 can be further reduced. Furthermore, by configuring the flexible member 31 to include a metal plasticized film, the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly 30 can be reduced because the metal plasticized film is thin and lightweight, and because a medium flow channel 312 is formed between the metal plasticized film and the heat exchange member, it is not affected by the extrusion process and does not need to meet large thickness requirements. Simultaneously, since the heat exchange assembly 30 has insulating properties, the possibility of insulation failure can be reduced. This reduces the risk of the heat exchange assembly 30 reacting with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, further reducing the possibility of heat exchange medium corrosion leakage.

[0161] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 4 to 8, the thermal conductivity of the one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 that is relatively close to the battery cell 10 is in the range of 0.2 W / m·K to 800 W / m·K.

[0162] In other words, the thermal conductivity of the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 that is relatively close to the battery cell 10 can be any one of the following values or any value between the two: 0.2 W / m·K, 1 W / m·K, 10 W / m·K, 20 W / m·K, 50 W / m·K, 100 W / m·K, 150 W / m·K, 200 W / m·K, 260 W / m·K, 300 W / m·K, 340 W / m·K, 400 W / m·K, 480 W / m·K, 500 W / m·K, 570 W / m·K, 600 W / m·K, 600 W / m·K, and 800 W / m·K.

[0163] In this embodiment, by setting the thermal conductivity of the one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 that is relatively close to the battery cell 10 to be in the range of 0.2 W / m·K to 800 W / m·K, it is beneficial to improve the heat exchange medium to exchange heat with the battery cell 10 through the heat exchange member, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency.

[0164] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 4 to 8, the thermal conductivity of the one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 that is relatively far from the battery cell 10 is in the range of 0.01 W / m·K to 400 W / m·K.

[0165] The thermal conductivity of the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 that is relatively far from the battery cell 10 can be any one of 0.01 W / m·K, 0.02 W / m·K, 0.05 W / m·K, 0.08 W / m·K, 0.1 W / m·K, 0.12 W / m·K, 0.15 W / m·K, 0.18 W / m·K, 0.2 W / m·K, 1 W / m·K, 10 W / m·K, 20 W / m·K, 50 W / m·K, 88 W / m·K, 100 W / m·K, 180 W / m·K, 200 W / m·K, 230 W / m·K, 300 W / m·K, 360 W / m·K, or 400 W / m·K, or a value between any two.

[0166] In this embodiment, by setting the thermal conductivity of the one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 that is relatively far away from the battery cell 10 to be in the range of 0.01 W / m·K to 400 W / m·K, it is beneficial to improve the heat diffusion of the heat exchange medium through the heat exchange member, improve the heat insulation performance of the heat exchange assembly 30, and further improve the heat exchange efficiency.

[0167] There are several ways to form the weight reduction groove 321.

[0168] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 6 to 8, the weight-reducing groove 321 penetrates the rigid member 32 along the thickness direction of the rigid member 32.

[0169] In other words, the weight reduction groove 321 penetrates the rigid member 32. Therefore, in order to prevent the heat exchange medium from flowing out from the weight reduction groove 321, the medium flow channel 312 is formed in other areas of the rigid member 32 except for the weight reduction groove 321. In other words, the medium flow channel 312 is defined between the flexible member 31 and other areas of the rigid member 32 except for the weight reduction groove 321.

[0170] In this embodiment, by passing the weight-reducing groove 321 through the rigid member 32 along the thickness direction of the rigid member 32, the forming method is simple, which is conducive to improving manufacturing efficiency and further reducing weight.

[0171] In other embodiments, the weight-reducing groove 321 does not penetrate the rigid member 32 along the thickness direction of the rigid member 32, and the thickness of the rigid member 32 at the weight-reducing groove 321 is less than the thickness of other areas of the rigid member 32 except for the weight-reducing groove 321. That is, the weight-reducing groove 321 is formed by thinning a part of the rigid member 32.

[0172] Here, the medium flow channel 312 may be defined between the flexible member 31 and the other areas of the rigid member 32, excluding the weight reduction groove 321. Alternatively, at least a portion of the medium flow channel 312 may be defined between the flexible member 31 and the weight reduction groove 321.

[0173] In some embodiments, please refer to Figure 7, there are multiple weight-reducing grooves 321, which are arranged in an array on the rigid member 32.

[0174] In other words, the multiple weight reduction grooves 321 are arranged in rows and columns.

[0175] For example, the rigid member 32 has a grid-like structure, with each grid forming a weight-reducing groove 321.

[0176] For example, multiple weight reduction slots 321 are arranged in a 10-row-10-column, 9-row-9-column, 9-row-13-column, 13-row-9-column, 12-row-12-column, 8-row-12-column, 12-row-8-column, etc.

[0177] In this embodiment, by distributing multiple weight-reducing grooves 321 in an array on the rigid member 32, it is easy to process and easy to set up the medium flow channel 312.

[0178] In some embodiments, please refer to Figures 6 and 8. There are multiple weight reduction grooves 321. The weight reduction grooves 321 extend along a first direction and are arranged along a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are perpendicular to the height direction of the battery device 100.

[0179] In other words, the multiple weight reduction slots 321 can be arranged in multiple rows, such as any one of 5, 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 25 or 30 rows, or any combination of the point values; or they can be arranged in multiple columns, such as any one of 5, 8, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 28 or 30 columns, or any combination of the point values.

[0180] For example, the rigid member 32 is strip-shaped, that is, the rigid member 32 includes a plurality of strip plates arranged along the second direction so that the gap between two adjacent strip plates forms a weight-reducing groove 321.

[0181] In this embodiment, by distributing multiple weight-reducing grooves 321 in multiple rows or columns on the rigid member 32, it is easy to process and easy to set up the medium flow channel 312.

[0182] Of course, the weight reduction grooves 321 can also be distributed according to the stress of the rigid component 32. For example, weight reduction grooves 321 can be not set in the position with greater stress, or fewer weight reduction grooves 321 can be set, while more weight reduction grooves 321 can be set in the position with less stress.

[0183] Of course, the weight reduction grooves 321 can also be distributed according to the configuration of the medium flow channel 312. For example, weight reduction grooves 321 may be omitted or reduced in areas close to the medium flow channel 312.

[0184] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 6 and 7, the heat exchange assembly 30 includes a first heat exchange assembly 35 disposed on the bottom side of the battery cell 10.

[0185] Here, the specific structure of the first heat exchange component 35 is similar to that of the heat exchange component 30 mentioned above, both including a rigid component 32 and a flexible component 31. However, for the sake of easy distinction of the different installation positions, the heat exchange component 30 installed on the bottom side of the battery cell 10 is defined as the first heat exchange component 35.

[0186] The first heat exchange component 35 being disposed on the bottom side of the battery cell 10 means that, along the height direction of the housing assembly 20, the first heat exchange component 35 is disposed below the battery cell 10.

[0187] The first heat exchange component 35 may be disposed inside the housing component 20, outside the housing component 20, or together with the housing component 20 to form a receiving cavity 23.

[0188] For example, the first heat exchange component 35 is disposed on the bottom side of the battery cell 10, which can be used to support at least part of the weight of the battery cell 10.

[0189] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 2 and 6, the first heat exchange component 35 is disposed within the receiving cavity 23, and the rigid member 32 of the first heat exchange component 35 is closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible member 31 of the first heat exchange component 35.

[0190] In other words, the thermal conductivity of the rigid component 32 of the first heat exchange component 35 is greater than that of the flexible component 31 of the first heat exchange component 35.

[0191] For example, the thermal conductivity of the rigid member 32 of the first heat exchange component 35 is in the range of 0.2 W / m·K to 800 W / m·K, and the thermal conductivity of the flexible member 31 of the first heat exchange component 35 is in the range of 0.01 W / m·K to 400 W / m·K.

[0192] The first heat exchange component 35 is disposed within the receiving cavity 23 and located on the bottom side of the battery cell 10. Thus, the first heat exchange component 35 can be used to support at least part of the weight of the battery cell 10. In other words, the first heat exchange component 35 needs to have certain mechanical properties, i.e., certain structural strength. Therefore, the rigid member 32 of the first heat exchange component 35 can be positioned closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible member 31 of the first heat exchange component 35, so that the battery cell 10 can be supported by the rigid member 32.

[0193] For example, the rigid member 32 is connected to the battery cell 10 by structural adhesive.

[0194] For example, the structural adhesive has good thermal conductivity, such as a thermally conductive adhesive.

[0195] Here, in the first heat exchange assembly 35 placed on the bottom side of the battery cell 10, the heat exchange component in contact with the battery cell 10 is a rigid component 32 with high strength and hardness, and the heat exchange component further away from the battery cell 10 relative to the rigid component 32 is a flexible component 31 with low strength and hardness. The flexible component 31 can deform under force and can return to its original shape after the force is released, or the medium flow channel 312 can deform when not in operation. After the heat exchange assembly 30 is working normally, the medium flow channel 312 returns to its original shape under the action of the heat exchange medium. The heat generated by the battery cell 10 is transferred to the rigid component 32 through the thermally conductive adhesive, or the heat generated by the battery cell 10 is directly transferred to the rigid component 32, and heat exchange occurs between the rigid component 32 and the heat exchange medium.

[0196] In this embodiment, by setting the rigid member 32 of the first heat exchange component 35 to be closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible member 31 of the first heat exchange component 35, the rigid member 32 can support the battery cell 10, which helps to improve the situation where the flexible member 31 is damaged due to force and improves the reliability of the heat exchange component 30.

[0197] In some embodiments, referring to FIG8, the heat exchange assembly 30 includes a second heat exchange assembly 36 disposed on the top side of the battery cell 10.

[0198] Here, the specific structure of the second heat exchange component 36 is similar to that of the heat exchange component 30 and the first heat exchange component 35 described above. Both include a rigid member 32 and a flexible member 31. However, for ease of distinguishing the different installation positions, the heat exchange component 30 installed on the top side of the battery cell 10 is defined as the second heat exchange component 36. For example, both the second heat exchange component 36 and the first heat exchange component 35 include a rigid member 32 and a flexible member 31. The relative positions of the rigid member 32 and the flexible member 31 with respect to the battery cell 10 can be the same or different.

[0199] The second heat exchange component 36 being disposed on the top side of the battery cell 10 means that, along the height direction of the housing assembly 20, the second heat exchange component 36 is disposed above the battery cell 10.

[0200] The second heat exchange component 36 may be disposed inside the housing component 20, outside the housing component 20, or together with the housing component 20 to form a receiving cavity 23.

[0201] Here, the entire top surface of the battery cell 10 can be coated with structural adhesive and then bonded to the rigid component 32, or only the shoulder of the battery cell 10 can be coated with structural adhesive and then bonded to the rigid component 32.

[0202] For example, in an embodiment where the rigid member 32 is composed of multiple strip plates, the battery cell 10 may be bonded to the strip plates after only the shoulder is coated with structural adhesive.

[0203] In this embodiment, the second heat exchange component 36 is disposed on the top side of the battery cell 10, which means it does not need to bear the weight of the battery cell 10. As a result, the structural strength requirements of the heat exchange component 30 can be relatively reduced, which is conducive to reducing costs and improving reliability, and also conducive to further reducing the weight of the heat exchange component 30.

[0204] In some implementations, referring to FIG8, the rigid member 32 of the second heat exchange assembly 36 is closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible member 31 of the second heat exchange assembly 36.

[0205] In other embodiments, the flexible element 31 of the second heat exchange component 36 is closer to the battery cell 10 than the rigid element 32 of the second heat exchange component 36.

[0206] In some embodiments, the heat exchange assembly 30 includes a third heat exchange assembly disposed on at least one side of the battery cell 10 along a first direction and / or a second direction, the first direction and the second direction being perpendicular to the height direction of the battery device 100.

[0207] Here, the third heat exchange component is located on the side of the battery cell 10, excluding the top and bottom sides.

[0208] Here, the specific structure of the third heat exchange component is similar to that of the aforementioned heat exchange components 30, 35, and 36, all including a rigid member 32 and a flexible member 31. However, for ease of distinguishing the different installation positions, the heat exchange component 30 installed on the side of the battery cell 10 is defined as the third heat exchange component. For example, the third heat exchange component, like the first heat exchange component 35 and the second heat exchange component 36, includes a rigid member 32 and a flexible member 31. The relative positions of the rigid member 32 and the flexible member 31 with respect to the battery cell 10 can be the same or different.

[0209] The third heat exchange component may be disposed on at least one side of the battery cell 10 along the first direction, or it may be disposed on at least one side of the battery cell 10 along the second direction, or it may be disposed on both at least one side of the battery cell 10 along the first direction and at least one side of the battery cell 10 along the second direction.

[0210] The third heat exchange component may be located inside the housing assembly 20, outside the housing assembly 20, or together with the housing assembly 20 to form a receiving cavity 23.

[0211] In this embodiment, the third heat exchange component is disposed on at least one side of at least one side of the battery cell 10 along the first direction and / or the second direction, so it does not need to bear the weight of the battery cell 10. Thus, the structural strength requirements of the heat exchange component 30 can be relatively reduced, which is beneficial to reducing costs and improving reliability, and also beneficial to further reducing the weight of the heat exchange component 30.

[0212] In some embodiments, the rigid member 32 of the third heat exchange component is closer to the battery cell 10 than the flexible member 31 of the third heat exchange component.

[0213] In other embodiments, the flexible element 31 of the third heat exchange component is closer to the battery cell 10 than the rigid element 32 of the third heat exchange component.

[0214] In some embodiments, the elongation at break of the flexible element 31 is in the range of 30% to 300%.

[0215] The elongation at break of the flexible component 31 can be any one of 30%, 50%, 60%, 80%, 90%, 100%, 130%, 150%, 160%, 170%, 190%, 200%, 220%, 150%, 260%, 280%, 290%, 300%, or any value between two of them.

[0216] In this embodiment, by setting the elongation at break of the flexible component 31 to be in the range of 30% to 300%, the flexible component 31 can have a certain impact resistance and puncture resistance, as well as a certain structural strength.

[0217] In some embodiments, the elongation at break of the rigid member 32 is in the range of 1% to 50%.

[0218] The elongation at break of the rigid component 32 can be any one of 1%, 3%, 5%, 6%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 13%, 15%, 16%, 17%, 19%, 20%, 25%, 28%, 30%, 32%, 35%, 38%, 40%, 43%, 45%, 48%, or 50%, or any value between two of them.

[0219] In this embodiment, by setting the elongation at break of the rigid member 32 to be in the range of 1% to 50%, the rigid member 32 can have sufficient structural strength, which is beneficial to improving the overall structural strength of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0220] In some embodiments, please refer to Figures 4 and 5, the anti-corrosion layer includes a first anti-corrosion layer 313, and the rigid member 32 is provided with the first anti-corrosion layer 313 in at least the area forming the medium flow channel 312.

[0221] In other words, the rigid component 32 is provided with a first anti-corrosion layer 313 in the area that is in contact with the heat exchange medium. The first anti-corrosion layer 313 serves to separate the heat exchange medium from the rigid component 32, thereby improving the situation where the heat exchange medium damages the rigid component 32, that is, reducing the situation where the heat exchange medium corrodes and leaks.

[0222] Here, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 is, for example, a heat exchange medium resistant layer. In an embodiment where the heat exchange medium is water, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 may be a waterproof layer.

[0223] In this embodiment, by providing a first anti-corrosion layer 313 in the area where at least the medium flow channel 312 is formed on the rigid member 32, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 can improve the situation where the heat exchange medium damages the rigid member 32, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0224] Here, the rigid member 32 may have the first anti-corrosion layer 313 provided only in the area forming the medium flow channel 312. Alternatively, the rigid member 32 may be covered with the first anti-corrosion layer 313 on both sides facing the flexible member 31. In this way, the problem of heat exchange medium damaging the rigid member 32 can be further improved, and the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30 can be further improved.

[0225] In some embodiments, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 is an aluminum-plastic film.

[0226] Aluminum-plastic film has high barrier properties, good cold stamping formability, puncture resistance, electrolyte stability, and electrical insulation.

[0227] For example, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 includes one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide, and polyethylene.

[0228] Here, polypropylene (PP), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polyphthalamide (PPA), or polyethylene (PE) have good corrosion resistance, which helps reduce the possibility of corrosion leakage of the heat exchange medium.

[0229] For example, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 has a layered structure, and at least one layer of the first anti-corrosion layer 313 near the medium flow channel 312 includes one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide and polyethylene.

[0230] For example, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 is an anti-corrosion coating, which includes one or both of epoxy resin and polyester resin.

[0231] In some embodiments, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 is hot-pressed onto the rigid member 32.

[0232] This manufacturing method is simple, low-cost, and helps to improve the connection reliability between the first anti-corrosion layer 313 and the rigid component 32.

[0233] For example, the flexible component 31 is provided with a first anti-corrosion layer 313.

[0234] Here, the flexible member 31 may have a first anti-corrosion layer 313 provided in at least the area forming the medium flow channel 312, or the flexible member 31 may have the first anti-corrosion layer 313 covering the side facing the rigid member 32.

[0235] In some embodiments, referring to Figure 4, the anti-corrosion layer includes a second anti-corrosion layer 315.

[0236] Here, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 is disposed on the outside of the heat exchange component 30 to reduce the corrosion of the heat exchange component 30 by external corrosive substances.

[0237] For example, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 has good resistance to acid and alkali corrosion.

[0238] For example, a second anti-corrosion layer 315 is provided on the side of the rigid member 32 that is away from the flexible member 31.

[0239] In other words, a second anti-corrosion layer 315 is provided on the side of the rigid component 32 away from the medium flow channel 312, that is, on the outer side of the rigid component 32. The second anti-corrosion layer 315 can reduce the corrosion of the rigid component 32 by external corrosive substances, thereby improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0240] For example, a second anti-corrosion layer 315 is provided on the side of the flexible member 31 that is away from the rigid member 32.

[0241] In other words, the flexible component 31 is provided with a second anti-corrosion layer 315 on the side opposite to the medium flow channel 312, that is, on the outer side of the flexible component 31. The second anti-corrosion layer 315 can reduce the corrosion of the flexible component 31 by external corrosive substances, thereby improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0242] In some embodiments, a second anti-corrosion layer 315 is provided on the side of the heat exchange component 30. That is, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 covers the side of the heat exchange component 30.

[0243] Thus, on the one hand, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 can reduce the corrosion of the sides of the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 by external corrosive substances. On the other hand, it can also reduce the penetration of external corrosive substances from the connection between the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32 into the gap between the flexible component 31 and the rigid component 32, thereby further improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0244] In some embodiments, one of the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 forms a flange, which at least covers the side of the other member.

[0245] For example, the flexible member 31 forms a flange that at least covers the side of the rigid member 32.

[0246] The phrase "the flanged portion at least covers the side of the rigid member 32" means that the flanged portion may only cover the side of the rigid member 32, or it may cover part of the side wall of the rigid member 32 that is away from the flexible member 31.

[0247] For example, the rigid member 32 forms a flange that at least covers the side of the flexible member 31.

[0248] The phrase "the flanged portion at least covers the side of the flexible member 31" means that the flanged portion may only cover the side of the flexible member 31, or it may cover part of the side wall of the flexible member 31 that is away from the rigid member 32.

[0249] In this embodiment, by forming a flange and covering at least one of the sides of the other, it is further beneficial to reduce the penetration of external corrosive substances from the connection between the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32 into the gap between the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32, thereby further improving the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0250] In some embodiments, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 comprises nylon.

[0251] Here, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 can be a nylon layer made of nylon material, thus having certain corrosion resistance, such as resistance to acid and alkali corrosion.

[0252] In some embodiments, the flexible element 31 includes a metallized film.

[0253] The flexible component 31 is a single-layer or multi-layer thin film.

[0254] Here, the metal plastic film is a metal-plastic composite material, which includes a metal layer and a plastic layer.

[0255] In this embodiment, because the metal plasticized film is thin and lightweight, and because a medium flow channel 312 is formed between the metal plasticized film and the heat exchanger, it is not affected by the extrusion process and does not need to meet a large thickness requirement. Therefore, the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly 30 can be reduced. Simultaneously, because the heat exchange assembly 30 has insulating properties, the possibility of insulation failure can be reduced. This reduces the risk of the heat exchange assembly 30 reacting with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, further reducing the possibility of heat exchange medium corrosion and leakage.

[0256] For example, the flexible component 31 includes an aluminum-plastic film.

[0257] Aluminum-plastic film has high barrier properties, good cold stamping formability, puncture resistance, electrolyte stability, and electrical insulation.

[0258] In some embodiments, please refer to FIG4, the flexible member 31 has a layered structure, and the flexible member 31 includes a metal layer and a non-metal layer, which are stacked sequentially.

[0259] Here, the flexible component 31 includes a metal layer and a non-metal layer, that is, a composite material component composed of a metal layer and a non-metal layer.

[0260] For example, the metal layer and the non-metal layer can be formed by hot pressing or hot melting.

[0261] Here, there is no limit to the number of metal layers and non-metal layers.

[0262] In this embodiment, the flexible member 31, which is composed of sequentially stacked metal and non-metal layers, is thin and lightweight. Furthermore, by forming a medium flow channel 312 between the flexible member 31 and the rigid member 32, it is unaffected by the extrusion process and does not need to meet large thickness requirements, thus reducing the overall thickness and weight of the heat exchange assembly 30. In addition, the heat exchange assembly 30 does not react with the internally flowing heat exchange medium, therefore eliminating the possibility of corrosion and leakage.

[0263] In some embodiments, the flexible member 31 has a layered structure, including a metal layer and a non-metal layer, which are stacked sequentially, wherein the non-metal layer is disposed on the side of the metal layer facing the rigid member 32.

[0264] In other words, the non-metallic layer is located between the metallic layer and the rigid component 32.

[0265] Here, by placing a non-metallic layer on the side of the metal layer facing the rigid member 32, the non-metallic layer can be thermally pressed to connect with the rigid member 32.

[0266] In some embodiments, the metal layer includes one or more of aluminum foil, copper foil, and steel foil.

[0267] By setting the metal layer to one or more of aluminum foil, copper foil, and steel foil, the flexible component 31 can have a certain structural strength and can play an isolation role.

[0268] In some embodiments, the non-metallic layer includes one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide, and polyethylene.

[0269] By setting the non-metallic layer to one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide and polyethylene, the flexible component 31 can have a certain waterproof function.

[0270] For example, a non-metallic layer of corrosion-resistant material with acid and alkali corrosion resistance can also be selected, or additives can be added to the non-metallic layer to make the non-metallic layer resistant to acid and alkali corrosion.

[0271] In some embodiments, the non-metallic layer is a hot-melt layer.

[0272] Here, by setting the non-metallic layer as a hot-melt layer, that is, a hot-melt material, it is advantageous to combine the non-metallic layer and the metallic layer together through hot melting, which is simple to form and has high production efficiency.

[0273] In some embodiments, please refer to Figures 3 and 4. The flexible member 31 has a layered structure. The flexible member 31 includes a first anti-corrosion layer 313, an isolation layer 314 and a second anti-corrosion layer 315 arranged in sequence. The first anti-corrosion layer 313 is closer to the medium flow channel 312 than the second anti-corrosion layer 315.

[0274] Here, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 can be a nylon layer made of nylon material, thus having certain corrosion resistance, such as resistance to acid and alkali corrosion.

[0275] The isolation layer 314 can be a metal layer, which can be one or more of aluminum foil, copper foil and steel foil, so that the flexible part 31 has a certain structural strength and can play an isolation role.

[0276] The first anti-corrosion layer 313 can be a non-metallic layer, which can be one or more of polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphthalamide and polyethylene, so that the flexible part 31 can have a certain waterproof function.

[0277] In this embodiment, by configuring the flexible component 31 to include a first anti-corrosion layer 313, an isolation layer 314 and a second anti-corrosion layer 315 arranged in sequence, the second anti-corrosion layer 315 is closer to the medium flow channel 312 than the first anti-corrosion layer 313, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the heat exchange component 30.

[0278] In some embodiments, the thickness of the isolation layer 314 is 6.5 μm-100 μm.

[0279] The thickness of the isolation layer 314 can be any one of the following values or any value between two of the following: 6.5μm, 10μm, 15μm, 20μm, 25μm, 30μm, 35μm, 38μm, 40μm, 45μm, 50μm, 55μm, 60μm, 65μm, 70μm, 75μm, 80μm, 85μm, 90μm, 92μm, 95μm, and 100μm.

[0280] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the isolation layer 314 to 6.5μm-100μm, the flexible component 31 can have a certain structural strength and flexibility.

[0281] In some embodiments, the thickness of the isolation layer 314 is 6.5 μm-15 μm.

[0282] The thickness of the isolation layer 314 can be any one of the following values or any value between two of the following: 6.5μm, 7μm, 7.5μm, 7.8μm, 8μm, 8.3μm, 8.5μm, 8.8μm, 9μm, 9.2μm, 9.5μm, 9.7μm, 10μm, 10.3μm, 10.5μm, 10.8μm, 11μm, 11.5μm, 11.8μm, 12μm, 12.3μm, 12.5μm, 13μm, 13.5μm, 14μm, 14.5μm, and 15μm.

[0283] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the isolation layer 314 to 6.5μm-15μm, the flexible component 31 can be further made to have a certain structural strength and flexibility.

[0284] In some embodiments, the thickness of the second anti-corrosion layer 315 is 5μm-20μm.

[0285] The thickness of the second anti-corrosion layer 315 can be 5μm, 5.5μm, 5.8μm, 6μm, 6.5μm, 7μm, 7.5μm, 7.8μm, 8μm, 8.3μm, 8.5μm, 8.8μm, 9μm, 9.2μm, 9.5μm, 9.7μm, 10μm, 10.3μm, 10.5μm, 10.8μm, 11μm, 11.5μm, 1 Point values of any one of the following: 1.8μm, 12μm, 12.3μm, 12.5μm, 13μm, 13.5μm, 14μm, 14.5μm, 15μm, 15.5μm, 16μm, 16.5μm, 17μm, 17.5μm, 18μm, 18.5μm, 18.7μm, 19μm, 19.5μm, and 20μm, or point values between any two.

[0286] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the second anti-corrosion layer 315 to 5μm-20μm, the wear resistance and toughness of the flexible part 31 can be improved.

[0287] In some embodiments, the thickness of the first anti-corrosion layer 313 is 50μm-120μm.

[0288] The thickness of the first anti-corrosion layer 313 can be any one of 50μm, 55μm, 60μm, 65μm, 70μm, 75μm, 80μm, 85μm, 90μm, 92μm, 95μm, 100μm, 105μm, 108μm, 110μm, 115μm, and 120μm, or any value between two of them.

[0289] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the first anti-corrosion layer 313 to 50μm-120μm, the first anti-corrosion layer 313 can have a certain structural strength, improve waterproof performance, and facilitate the hot-pressing connection of the flexible component 31 through the first anti-corrosion layer 313.

[0290] In some embodiments, the thickness of the flexible element 31 is 0.05mm-0.3mm.

[0291] For example, the point value can be any one of 0.05mm, 0.06mm, 0.07mm, 0.08mm, 0.09mm, 0.1mm, 0.15mm, 0.2mm, 0.21mm, 0.22mm, 0.25mm, 0.27mm, 0.28mm, or 0.3mm, or a point value between any two of them.

[0292] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the flexible element 31 to 0.05mm-0.3mm, the heat exchange component 30 made of the flexible element 31 has a certain structural strength while the overall thickness of the heat exchange component 30 is small, which is beneficial to reduce the overall volume and weight of the battery device 100 and increase the energy density of the battery device 100.

[0293] In some embodiments, the thickness of the flexible element 31 is 0.08 mm to 0.2 mm.

[0294] For example, the point value can be any one of 0.08mm, 0.09mm, 0.1mm, 0.11mm, 0.12mm, 0.13mm, 0.14mm, 0.15mm, 0.16mm, 0.17mm, 0.18mm, 0.19mm, or 0.2mm, or a point value between any two of them.

[0295] In this embodiment, by setting the thickness of the flexible element 31 to 0.08mm-0.2mm, the heat exchange component 30 made of the flexible element 31 has a certain structural strength, while further reducing the overall thickness of the heat exchange component 30. This is beneficial to further reduce the overall volume and weight of the battery device 100, thereby further increasing the energy density of the battery device 100.

[0296] In some embodiments, the elastic modulus of the flexible member 31 is 0.1 MPa-10000 MPa.

[0297] For example, the elastic modulus of the flexible component 31 can be any one of 0.1MPa, 1MPa, 50MPa, 100MPa, 150MPa, 200MPa, 300MPa, 500MPa, 800MPa, 1000MPa, 1300MPa, 1500MPa, 1800MPa, 2000MPa, 2500MPa, 2800MPa, 3000MPa, 3500MPa, 4000MPa, 4500MPa, 5000MPa, 5500MPa, 6000MPa, 6500MPa, 7000MPa, 7500MPa, 8000MPa, 8500MPa, 8800MPa, 9000MPa, 9500MPa, 9700MPa, and 10000MPa, or a value between any two.

[0298] The elastic modulus describes the magnitude of a unit strain caused by a unit stress when a solid is subjected to force within a certain range; it is one of the fundamental physical quantities of materials. The larger the elastic modulus, the greater the stiffness and compressive strength of the material. The elastic modulus is a physical quantity that describes the elasticity of a material.

[0299] In this embodiment, by setting the elastic modulus of the flexible component 31 to 0.1MPa-10000MPa, the flexible component 31 is made to have a certain structural strength, which improves the reliability of the heat exchange assembly 30, and also has a certain deformation capability. This can improve the fit between the heat exchange assembly 30 and the housing assembly 20 and / or the battery cell 10, thereby increasing the effective heat exchange area between the heat exchange assembly 30 and the housing assembly 20 and / or the battery cell 10, and thus improving the heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange effect of the heat exchange assembly 30.

[0300] It should be noted that the specific material of rigid component 32 is not limited here.

[0301] In some embodiments, the rigid member 32 is made of metal.

[0302] For example, it could be an aluminum alloy.

[0303] In this embodiment, by setting the rigid component 32 as a metal component, the metal component has both good structural strength and good thermal conductivity. In other words, while ensuring that the heat exchange component 30 has a certain heat exchange efficiency, the rigid component 32 can also provide a certain support for the flexible component 31.

[0304] The elastic modulus of the flexible component 31 can be measured by at least one of the following methods: static tensile testing, dynamic testing, sound velocity method, nanoindentation method, and bending method. The measuring instrument can include a nanoindenter and a universal testing machine.
