Description

A type of server

[0001] Cross-reference to related applications

[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510475618.1, filed on April 16, 2025, entitled "A Server", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0003] This application relates to the field of server architecture technology, and in particular to a server. Background Technology

[0004] As market demand for efficient storage of large-scale data increases, higher requirements are being placed on servers.

[0005] However, in the related technologies, the server's back window is equipped with power modules, control nodes, and other modules. Part of the space in the back window is occupied by power modules and other modules, resulting in limited space for setting control nodes. This means that the server in the related technologies can usually only set a single control node with a small width, which makes the server's scalability low.

[0006] Therefore, how to increase the scalability of servers is a problem that urgently needs to be solved by those skilled in the art. Summary of the Invention

[0007] This application provides a server that at least addresses the problem of low scalability of servers in the related art.

[0008] This application provides a server, including:

[0009] Chassis;

[0010] The power supply module is located on the front window of the chassis;

[0011] The first hard drive frame module is used to house the first hard drive. The first hard drive frame module is located on the front window of the chassis and is arranged side by side with the power supply module along the width of the chassis.

[0012] At least one control node is located in the rear window of the chassis;

[0013] The adapter board, power supply module, first hard disk frame module and control node are blindly plugged into the adapter board.

[0014] This application addresses the issue of low scalability in servers by placing the power supply module and the first hard drive frame module at the front of the chassis. This avoids them occupying space at the rear, allowing for more space to be allocated to control nodes. This increases the utilization rate of the rear space and enables the server to support a wider range of expansion cards, hardware acceleration cards, and management cards, thereby improving its scalability. In other words, the layout of the power supply module, the first hard drive frame module, and the control nodes within the chassis solves the problem of low scalability in related technologies. This makes the server better suited to meet the market's demand for efficient storage of large-scale data, particularly in scenarios requiring high-density storage and high scalability, such as cloud computing and big data centers.

[0015] It is evident that this server can solve the technical problem of low scalability and achieve the technical effect of increasing the scalability of the server. Attached Figure Description

[0036] To enable those skilled in the art to better understand the present application, the present application will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0037] Please refer to Figures 1, 2, and 3. An embodiment of this application provides a server, including a chassis 1, a power supply module 2, a first hard disk frame module 3, a control node 4, and an adapter board 7. The power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 are both located on the front window of the chassis 1 and are arranged side by side along the width direction of the chassis 1. The number of control nodes 4 is at least one, and the control nodes 4 are located on the rear window of the chassis 1. The power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control nodes 4 are blindly plugged into the adapter board 7.

[0038] It is understandable that the power supply module 2 and the first hard drive frame module 3 are both located in the front window of the chassis 1, meaning that both are situated within the front window area of the chassis 1. The front window area refers to the space inside the chassis 1 closest to the front window. Similarly, the control node 4 is located in the rear window area of the chassis 1, meaning that the control node 4 is situated within the rear window area of the chassis 1. Furthermore, the control node 4 is located at the rear of the power supply module 2 and the first hard drive frame module 3, meaning that along the width direction of the chassis 1, the control node 4 does not interfere with the power supply module 2 and the first hard drive frame module 3.

[0039] In other words, the key point of this application embodiment is that both the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 are located in the front window of the chassis 1, so that the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 are placed in front, avoiding the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 occupying the rear window space of the chassis 1. This allows the rear window of the chassis 1 to have more space to arrange the control node 4, which can increase the space utilization of the rear window of the chassis 1. This can increase the number of expansion cards, hardware acceleration cards, or management cards 453 and other types of cards that the server rear window can support, thereby improving the server's expansion performance. That is, through the layout architecture of the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3 and the control node 4 in the chassis 1, the technical problem of low scalability of servers in related technologies is solved, making the server more able to meet the market's demand for efficient storage of large-scale data, especially suitable for scenarios such as cloud computing and big data centers that require high-density storage and high scalability.

[0040] Furthermore, this embodiment of the application adds an adapter board 7, which serves as a connector between the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4. This enables the power supply module 2 to supply power to both the first hard disk frame module 3 and the control node 4, and facilitates signal transmission between them. Physically, the adapter board 7 is located at the rear of the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3, and at the front of the control node 4. Moreover, the adapter board 7 is blind-plugged with the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4. That is, the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 can be installed by plugging and unplugging, thus achieving the connection between them. This cableless connection method facilitates server installation and maintenance, saves space occupied by cables, and allows for maintenance without downtime and rapid fault recovery.

[0041] It is understandable that the adapter board 7 blindly plugs into the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 via connectors to achieve power supply and signal communication. For example, as shown in Figure 2, the adapter board 7 blindly plugs into the first hard disk frame module 3 via the first high-density connector 71, the adapter board 7 blindly plugs into the control node 5 via the second high-density connector 72, and the adapter board 7 blindly plugs into the power supply module 2 via the power connector 73. The connection is convenient and facilitates quick disassembly, blind plugging, and cableless maintenance. This greatly reduces the assembly difficulty of the server, shortens the installation time, and improves the customer experience. It makes the server more operable, installable, and maintainable in both production site and client scenarios.

[0042] Furthermore, the adapter board 7 can be connected to the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3 and the control node 4 using floating connectors to support blind insertion and make the connection position vibration resistant, which helps to improve the reliability and stability of the connection.

[0043] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific installation methods of the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4, or the connection methods between the three and the chassis 1, as long as the above-described layout architecture of the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 can be maintained. For example, the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 can be installed and removed by pushing and pulling. To ensure the smoothness and stability of the pushing and pulling installation of the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4, slide rails can be installed inside the chassis to guide the installation of the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4.

[0044] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific structure and quantity of the power supply module 2, as long as it can meet the power supply requirements.

[0045] As shown in Figure 3, in some embodiments, there are two power supply modules 2, which are located on both sides of the chassis 1 along the width direction, and the first hard disk frame module 3 is located between the two power supply modules 2.

[0046] In other words, some embodiments of this application adopt an architecture layout with dual power supply modules 2 on the side and the first hard disk frame module 3 in the middle. Having two power supply modules 2 helps meet power supply requirements or support power redundancy, while avoiding a centralized power supply layout. This also facilitates power cable routing and heat dissipation. Positioning the two power supply modules 2 on opposite sides of the chassis 1 along its width helps to balance the overall weight of the chassis 1 and ensure even heat distribution. The symmetrical structure with the first hard disk frame module 3 located between the two power supply modules 2 contributes to structural stability and weight balance.

[0047] Furthermore, the above embodiments do not limit the specific structure and number of control nodes 4.

[0048] As shown in Figure 1, in some embodiments, there are two control nodes 4, which are arranged side by side along the width of the chassis 1, and the width of a single control node 4 is not less than 40% of the width of the chassis 1.

[0049] In other words, some embodiments of this application use two control nodes 4 arranged side by side, occupying the width space of the rear window of the chassis 1 to form a dual control node 4 scheme. Each control node 4 can be configured with a central processing unit (CPU) and eight memory modules, so that the rear window of the chassis 1 has high scalability.

[0050] In addition, it is understood that the width of a conventional control node in the field is about 30% of the width of the chassis. This application, by placing the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 at the front, allows the width of the control node 4 to exceed the conventional width, so that the width of a single control node 4 is not less than 40% of the width of the chassis 1. By increasing the width of the control node 4, the scalability of the control node 4 is improved.

[0051] Furthermore, in some embodiments, the width of the two control nodes 4 is half the width of the chassis 1. That is, in some embodiments of this application, the server adopts two half-width control nodes 4 to form a double half-width control node 4 scheme, so as to further improve the overall scalability of the control nodes 4.

[0052] Furthermore, in some embodiments, a single control node 4 may support four or more expansion cards, including but not limited to a standard PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) card 451, an OCP card 452, and a management card 453. For example, a single control node 4 may include two expansion cards (e.g., a standard PCIe card 451, as shown in Figure 14), one hardware acceleration card (Open Compute Project, or OCP card 452, as shown in Figure 14), and one management card 453 (as shown in Figure 14); or, a single control node 4 may include three hardware acceleration cards (i.e., OCP cards 452) and one management card 453.

[0053] In other words, through the above-mentioned power supply module 2, first hard disk frame module 3 and control node 4 architecture layout, the server's back window has high expansion performance, thus enabling the implementation of two standard PCIe cards 451, one OCP card 452 and one management card 453, or three OCP cards 452 and one management card 453, to better meet user needs.

[0054] In some embodiments, the chassis 1 includes a first height space, in which the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 are all located.

[0055] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific height of the first height space. For example, the height of the first height space can be 1U. It is understood that in this field, U refers to a unit of external dimensions of a server, and 1U = 4.445cm. That is, in some embodiments of this application, the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 are arranged as a whole within a 1U height space. By placing the power supply module 2, the first hard disk frame module 3, and the control node 4 all within a 1U height space, and combining the front-mounted power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3 with the control node 4 at the rear, the expansion performance of 1U servers in related technologies is surpassed. In particular, when there are two control nodes 4, two independent half-width control nodes 4 can be installed within the first height space, meeting the user's demand for high expansion performance.

[0056] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, in some embodiments, the chassis 1 further includes a second height space located below the first height space. The height of the second height space is four times that of the first height space. The second height space contains a second hard disk frame module 5 and a first fan module 6. The second hard disk frame module 5 is used to accommodate the second hard disk.

[0057] In other words, some embodiments of this application achieve high-capacity storage by setting a second hard disk frame module 5 within the second height space. Furthermore, the height of the second height space is four times the height of the first height space. For example, if the height of the first height space is 1U, then the height of the second height space is 4U. The 4U height space combined with the 1U height space forms a 5U height server. Simultaneously, by controlling the overall length of the server to within 970mm, the server can support racks smaller than 1.1m, meeting the needs of most customer usage scenarios.

[0058] It is understood that in some embodiments of this application, a first partition can be provided between the upper first height space and the lower second height space of the chassis 1. This first partition separates at least a portion of the overall height of the server into the first height space and the second height space. Simultaneously, the first partition can also support the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3. Furthermore, a vertical second partition can also be provided in the area of the first height space corresponding to the placement of the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3. This separates the power supply module 2 and the first hard disk frame module 3, thus creating separate spaces within the first height space for their respective installation, facilitating installation positioning and guidance.

[0059] In addition, after the power supply module 2 is placed in the front, in order to facilitate the routing of the power supply cable 21 of the power supply module 2, please refer to Figures 4 and 5. In some embodiments, the chassis 1 is provided with a first cable management groove 11. The power supply cable 21 of the power supply module 2 passes through the front window of the chassis 1 and extends along the first cable management groove 11 towards the rear window of the chassis 1.

[0060] In other words, the power supply module 2 is located behind the front window of the chassis 1. The power supply cable 21 of the power supply module 2 passes through the front window of the chassis 1, goes around the outside of the chassis 1, and is led to the rear window of the chassis 1, so as to facilitate the power connection between the power supply cable 21 of the power supply module 2 and the power supply of the rear window of the chassis 1. The power supply cable 21 of the power supply module 2 is routed from the outside of the chassis 1, which facilitates the connection of the power supply cable 21 to the rear window of the chassis 1, and also facilitates heat dissipation and maintenance. Furthermore, the power supply cable 21 does not occupy the internal space of the chassis 1, which further leaves space for the installation of the control node 4 and improves the utilization rate of the rear window area inside the chassis 1.

[0061] When there are two power supply modules 2, the two power supply modules 2 are located on both sides of the chassis 1 along the width direction. In order to facilitate the routing of the power supply cables 21 of the two power supply modules 2, it can be understood that the chassis 1 is provided with a first cable management groove 11 on both sides of its width direction, so as to manage the power supply cables 21 of the two power supply modules 2 respectively, so that the power supply cables 21 of the two power supply modules 2 can be routed from the outside of the chassis 1 respectively.

[0062] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific arrangement of the first cable management trough 11. For example, the first cable management trough 11 can be an independent cable management trough structure, which is installed on the outer wall of the chassis 1 to facilitate the management of the power supply cables 21 of the power supply module 2, so that the power supply cables 21 of the power supply module 2 can be smoothly and neatly routed to the rear window of the chassis 1. For example, the first cable management trough 11 can be a cable management box, in which the power supply cables 21 of the power supply module 2 are passed.

[0063] In addition, in order to avoid increasing the structural dimensions of the chassis 1, such as the width or height, by the first cable management groove 11, in some embodiments, the first cable management groove 11 is a recessed groove on the top or outer side of the side wall of the chassis 1, so that the power supply cable 21 does not affect the overall structural dimensions of the chassis 1 when it passes through the outside of the chassis 1.

[0064] In other words, some embodiments of this application form a first cable management channel 11 by opening a groove on the top or outer side of the side wall of the chassis 1, thereby creating an inward structure at the groove of the chassis 1, providing cable management space for the power supply cable 21. At the same time, the width and height of the chassis 1 are not increased, so that when the server is installed in the rack, no additional rack width space is occupied. That is, it is possible to run cables from the outside of the chassis 1 within the existing structural dimensions of the chassis 1.

[0065] It is understandable that when there are two power supply modules 2, and the two power supply modules 2 are located on both sides of the chassis 1 along the width direction, the top or outer part of the two side walls of the chassis 1 along the width direction are respectively provided with grooves to form first cable management grooves 11 for managing the power supply cables 21 of the two power supply modules. For example, grooves are respectively provided on the top of the two side walls of the chassis 1 along the width direction to form an inward structure, so that the power supply cables 21 of the two power supply modules are respectively located in the top grooves of the two side walls of the chassis 1 along the width direction, which has the function of receiving and organizing the power supply cables 21.

[0066] Furthermore, in order to facilitate the fixing of the power supply cable 21, as shown in Figure 3, in some embodiments, the side wall and / or rear window of the chassis 1 are provided with cable management clips 12, which are used to fix the power supply cable 21.

[0067] In other words, some embodiments of this application use cable management clips 12 to fix the power supply cable 21 to the side wall and / or rear window of the chassis 1, thereby keeping the position of the power supply cable 21 stable.

[0068] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific number, structure, and distribution of the cable management clips 12, as long as they can fix the power supply cable 21. For example, the first cable management groove 11 has at least two cable management clips 12 on its groove wall, and the cable management clips 12 located on the groove wall of the same first cable management groove 11 are distributed at intervals. The structure of the cable management clip 12 can be a spring piece, with one end of the spring piece connected to the side wall of the chassis 1 and the other end of the spring piece being a free end, thereby realizing an elastic clip. When routing the cable, the power supply cable 21 is placed on the spring piece, and the spring piece is used to clamp the power supply cable 21 to the side wall of the chassis 1, thereby fixing the power supply cable 21. The cable management clip 12 has a simple structure, is easy to install, and is conducive to the flexible fixing of the power supply cable 21. It provides the power supply cable 21 with a certain fixing force while ensuring that the force is appropriate, thus avoiding damage to the power supply cable 21 due to excessive clamping force of the cable management clip 12. Therefore, it helps to protect the power supply cable 21 from damage while fixing it. In addition, this fixing method facilitates the disassembly and assembly of the power supply cable 21, making it convenient for the maintenance of the power supply module 2.

[0069] In addition, in some embodiments, the two power supply modules 2 have the same structure and are installed in opposite directions; the power supply module 2 is provided with a first limiting groove, and the two sides of the chassis 1 are respectively provided with a first limiting member and a second limiting member, which are used to cooperate with the first limiting groove of the two power supply modules 2 for limiting.

[0070] It is understandable that the identical structure of the two power supply modules 2 facilitates their design and manufacturing as standard materials. Furthermore, the identical structure of the two power supply modules 2 means that their power supply cable interfaces are located at the same position relative to the module 2, i.e., on the same side. To ensure that the power supply cable interfaces of the two power supply modules 2 have the same relative position with the chassis 1 after installation, some embodiments of this application install the two power supply modules 2 in opposite directions; that is, one of the two power supply modules 2 is installed in reverse. This ensures that the power supply cable interfaces of the two power supply modules 2 have the same relative position with the chassis 1, which helps to provide sufficient routing space for the power supply cable 21 and meet the turning radius requirements of the power supply cable 21.

[0071] Furthermore, since the two power supply modules 2 have the same structure, the positions of the first limiting slots of the two power supply modules 2 are the same. However, when one of the two power supply modules 2 is reversed, the relative positions of the first limiting slots of the two power supply modules 2 with respect to the chassis 1 are different. Therefore, some embodiments of this application provide first limiting members and second limiting members on both sides of the chassis 1, and use the first limiting members and second limiting members to cooperate with the first limiting slots of the two power supply modules 2 to limit the two power supply modules 2. Moreover, since the relative positions of the first limiting members and second limiting members with respect to the chassis 1 are different, the first limiting members and second limiting members also have a foolproof function for the installation of the two power supply modules 2, thereby ensuring the correct installation of the two power supply modules 2.

[0072] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific shapes of the first limiting groove, the first limiting member, and the second limiting member, as long as the first limiting groove can cooperate with the first limiting member or the second limiting member to limit and prevent mistakenly. For example, the first limiting groove can be a semi-circular hole provided in the power supply module 2, and the first limiting member and the second limiting member have the same structure, both being stop pins. That is, some embodiments of this application achieve the installation limitation of the power supply module 2 and the chassis 1 by inserting the stop pin into the semi-circular hole. As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the first limiting component is the first stop pin 13, and the second limiting component is the second stop pin 14. For ease of description, the two power supply modules 2 are referred to as the first power supply module 22 and the second power supply module 23, respectively. The first stop pin 13 is used to engage and limit the first stop groove of the first power supply module 22 to achieve installation limitation and foolproofing of the first power supply module 22. The second stop pin 14 is used to engage and limit the first stop groove of the second power supply module 23 to achieve installation limitation and foolproofing of the second power supply module 23, thereby facilitating the correct installation of the first power supply module 22 and the second power supply module 23.

[0073] Additionally, it should be noted that in the above embodiments, the first hard disk frame module 3 is a structural component used to accommodate the first hard disk. It is a structural frame without the first hard disk, but has a blind-plug interface for blind-plugging with the adapter board 7.

[0074] To support different types of first hard drives, in some embodiments, the first hard drive frame module 3 includes at least two different hard drive frame modules. The different hard drive frame modules are used to accommodate and connect different first hard drives. The different hard drive frame modules can be switched and selectively installed in the chassis 1. The different hard drive frame modules have the same blind plug interface connected to the adapter board 7 and the same limiting structure that cooperates with the chassis 1 for limiting.

[0075] In other words, some embodiments of this application modularize the first hard drive frame module 3, making the connection interfaces for connecting each hard drive frame module to the chassis 1 and the adapter board 7 the same, so that each hard drive frame module can be adapted and installed with the chassis 1 and the adapter board 7, thereby allowing any one of the hard drive frame modules to be installed. It is understood that the internal structures of each hard drive frame module are different, that is, the hard drive interfaces are different, thus making each hard drive frame module a different type of hard drive frame module, in order to implement different first hard drive interface forms.

[0076] For example, there are two types of hard drive frame modules, which include an E3.S interface hard drive 33 (as shown in Figure 8) and a U.2 interface hard drive, respectively. Those skilled in the art will know that the E3.S interface (Enterprise and Data Center SSD Form Factor) is a new solid-state drive (SSD) interface specification specifically designed for data centers and enterprise-level storage. The E3.S interface and the U.2 interface are two different hard drive interfaces, allowing for the switching and installation of both E3.S interface hard drives 33 and U.2 interface hard drives to meet different customer needs.

[0077] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific structure of each hard disk frame module, as long as it can realize blind insertion of different types of hard disk frame modules and installation relative to the chassis 1.

[0078] In some embodiments, each hard disk frame module includes a hard disk frame 31 and a hard disk backplate 32 connected to the hard disk frame 31. Different hard disk frames 31 are used to install different first hard disks. Different hard disk frames 31 are provided with the same limiting structure to connect to the chassis 1. Different hard disk backplates 32 are used to connect different first hard disks. Different hard disk backplates 32 are provided with the same blind insertion interface to blindly insert with the adapter board 7.

[0079] In other words, in some embodiments of this application, the internal structure of the hard disk frame 31 corresponds to the type and number of the first hard disk, and the internal interface of the hard disk backplane 32 corresponds to the type and number of the first hard disk. However, the limiting structure of each hard disk frame 31 and the blind insertion interface of each hard disk backplane 32 remain unchanged, thereby realizing the switching and installation of different hard disk frame modules and enabling the installation of hard disks with different interfaces.

[0080] In addition, in order to facilitate the installation and positioning of the hard disk frame module, in some embodiments, the hard disk frame 31 is provided with a second limiting groove 313, and the chassis 1 is provided with a third limiting member for cooperating with the second limiting groove 313 for positioning.

[0081] In other words, when installing the hard drive frame module, the second limiting slot 313 and the third limiting component are used to limit the installation of the hard drive frame module, so as to ensure that the hard drive frame module has the correct position, and at the same time prevent the blind insertion interface of the hard drive backplate 32 connected to the hard drive frame 31 from being over-inserted, and avoid the blind insertion interface of the hard drive backplate 32 from being damaged due to excessive installation force.

[0082] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific structure of the third limiting member. For example, as shown in Figures 9, 10 and 11, the third limiting member can be an I-beam 15. It can be understood that the length direction of the post of the I-beam 15 is the same as the height direction of the chassis 1. During installation, the hard disk frame module is inserted into the chassis 1 along the depth direction of the chassis 1 (that is, the front-to-back direction of the chassis 1, which is perpendicular to the width and height directions of the chassis 1). When the second limiting groove 313 is inserted into the I-beam 15, the post of the I-beam 15 is used to limit the hard disk frame module, preventing the hard disk frame module from being further pushed in. At the same time, the head of the I-beam 15 can limit the hard disk frame module in the height direction of the chassis 1, so as to improve the positional stability of the hard disk frame module.

[0083] Additionally, as shown in Figure 9, in some embodiments, one of the hard disk backplate 32 and the adapter plate 7 is provided with a positioning pin 321, and the other is provided with a positioning hole for guiding in conjunction with the positioning pin 321.

[0084] It is understood that the blind-mating interface of the hard disk backplane 32 is a connector, such as a high-density connector and a power supply connector. The high-density connector is used for signal communication, and the power supply connector is used for power supply. The hard disk backplane 32 is blind-mated with the adapter board 7 through the connector. In order to ensure that the connector of the hard disk backplane 32 can be accurately blind-mated with the connector of the adapter board 7, some embodiments of this application utilize positioning pins 321 and positioning holes for positioning and guidance, thereby improving the accuracy of the mating of the connector of the hard disk backplane 32 and the connector of the adapter board 7.

[0085] In some embodiments, a positioning pin 321 is disposed on the hard disk backplane 32, and a positioning hole is disposed on the adapter plate 7. Further, the positioning pin 321 is located within a preset area of the connector on the hard disk backplane 32. That is, the positioning pin 321 is close to the connector on the hard disk backplane 32 to provide better positioning and guidance, ensuring the accuracy and smoothness of mating between the connector on the hard disk backplane 32 and the connector on the adapter plate 7. It is understood that positioning pins 321 can be provided near each connector on the hard disk backplane 32, for example, positioning pins 321 can be provided in the preset areas corresponding to the high-density connector and the power supply connector, respectively, to guide and limit each connector, ensuring reliable mating of each pair of connectors that need to be plugged in.

[0086] Further, as shown in FIG9, in some embodiments, the hard disk backplate 32 is mounted on the hard disk frame 31. The hard disk frame 31 is provided with a limiting buckle 311 for sliding and limiting the hard disk backplate 32 and a fastener 312 for fixing the hard disk backplate 32. The hard disk backplate 32 is provided with a through groove 322 for the limiting buckle 311 to pass through, so that the hard disk backplate 32 can be slidably mounted relative to the hard disk frame 31 after the through groove 322 passes through the limiting buckle 311.

[0087] In other words, during installation, the hard drive backplate 32 is installed by sliding relative to the hard drive frame 31. When the hard drive backplate 32 is installed in place, the hard drive backplate 32 is fixed to the hard drive frame 31 by fasteners 312. Thus, the fasteners 312 and the limit buckles 311 work together to ensure the stability and reliability of the hard drive backplate 32 in position.

[0088] Understandably, during installation, the slot 322 of the hard drive backplate 32 is aligned with the limiting latch 311 of the hard drive frame 31, allowing the slot 322 to pass through the limiting latch 311. At this time, the hard drive backplate 32 can slide along the plane of the hard drive backplate 32. During the sliding process of the hard drive backplate 32, the limiting latch 311 limits the sliding direction of the hard drive backplate 32, ensuring the accuracy of the sliding direction and the smoothness of the sliding. When the hard drive backplate 32 slides into place, the limiting latch 311 acts as a limiting point, limiting the hard drive backplate 32, and together with the fastener 312, fixing the position of the hard drive backplate 32.

[0089] The limiting clip 311, acting as a limiting point, reduces the number of fasteners 312, improves fixing efficiency, reduces installation difficulty, facilitates installation and maintenance, and shortens maintenance time. Furthermore, during the insertion and removal of the hard drive frame module, the limiting clip 311 provides effective support to the hard drive backplane 32, ensuring uniform force distribution. This uniform force also prevents bending and deformation of the hard drive backplane 32 during connector insertion and removal, thus ensuring communication speed. Additionally, by using the limiting clip 311 as a limiting structure for the hard drive backplane 32, the overlapping area with the hard drive backplane 32 can be reduced, effectively improving the space utilization of the hard drive backplane 32. This, in turn, effectively reduces the cross-sectional area of the hard drive backplane 32 while ensuring electrical and structural performance, thereby increasing the ventilation area of the hard drive and improving its heat dissipation efficiency.

[0090] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific number of fasteners 312 and limiting buckles 311. For example, there are two fasteners 312, which are located on the top two sides of the hard disk backplate 32 respectively. Two limiting buckles 311 are provided at intervals between the two fasteners 312 on the top of the hard disk backplate 32. Four limiting buckles 311 are provided at the bottom edge of the hard disk backplate 32.

[0091] Furthermore, the structures of each limiting buckle 311 may be the same or different. As shown in Figures 12 and 13, in some embodiments, at least one limiting buckle 311 has a folded edge 3111 extending along the sliding direction of the hard disk backplate 32 on the side facing the hard disk backplate 32, so as to limit the sliding of the hard disk backplate 32 by means of the folded edge 3111, preventing the hard disk backplate 32 from tilting during installation, and making the installation of the hard disk backplate 32 smoother.

[0092] In addition, considering the simplicity of the fastener 312 structure, the fastener 312 is a screw.

[0093] In addition, in order to facilitate the assembly and positioning of the hard disk backplate 32 and the hard disk frame 31, in some embodiments, the hard disk frame 31 is provided with a stop portion, which is used to contact and limit one end of the hard disk backplate 32.

[0094] In other words, some embodiments of this application limit the position of the hard disk backplate 32 relative to the hard disk frame 31 by providing a stop portion in the hard disk frame 31 and utilizing the stop portion to cooperate with one end of the hard disk backplate 32. For example, when the hard disk backplate 32 is slidably installed on the hard disk frame 31, when the hard disk backplate 32 slides to the point where one end contacts the stop portion, the stop portion forcibly limits the hard disk backplate 32, preventing the hard disk backplate 32 from being pushed too far and causing inaccurate installation position, improving the installation efficiency of the hard disk backplate 32, and facilitating the alignment and fixation of the fasteners 312.

[0095] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific structure of the stop portion, as long as the stop portion can contact and limit one end of the hard disk backplate 32. For example, as shown in FIG9, the stop portion can be a baffle 314 protruding from the end of the sliding stroke of the hard disk backplate 32. After the hard disk backplate 32 is installed in place on the hard disk frame 31, the baffle 314 is used to prevent the hard disk backplate 32 from continuing to slide, thereby realizing the installation and positioning of the hard disk backplate 32.

[0096] It should be noted that the above embodiments do not limit the specific structure of the control node 4. As shown in Figure 14, in some embodiments, the control node 4 includes a motherboard 41, a motherboard tray 46, a memory module 42, a central processing unit module 43, a second fan module 44, and at least one preset board 45. The second fan module 44 is located between the two ends of the motherboard 41. The motherboard 41 and the second fan module 44 are both located on the motherboard tray 46. The memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43 are located on the motherboard 41 near the front window and on the same side of the second fan module 44. Each preset board 45 is located on the motherboard 41 near the rear window and on the other side of the second fan module 44.

[0097] In other words, in some embodiments of this application, the second fan module 44 adopts a centrally located layout, placing it between the memory module 42, the central processing unit module 43, and each preset board 45, reserving space for the preset boards 45. This also shortens the distance between the second fan module 44 and the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43, thus reducing air resistance and improving the heat dissipation efficiency of the control node 4. In related technologies, fan modules are either front-mounted on the motherboard 41 or rear-mounted at the rear of the chassis 1. The centrally located second fan module 44 in some embodiments of this application maximizes space utilization, meets the heat dissipation requirements of the control node 4 for the central processing unit module 43 and the memory module 42, improves heat dissipation efficiency, and also frees up the expandability of the front and rear windows of the chassis 1. Furthermore, it is understood that when there are two control nodes 4, each control node 4 includes a second fan module 44, thus giving each control node 4 an independent heat dissipation module, which helps ensure the effectiveness of heat dissipation for each control node 4.

[0098] It should be noted that some embodiments of this application do not limit the specific structure of the second fan module 44, as long as the second fan module 44 can effectively dissipate heat from the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43. For example, the second fan module 44 includes a second fan frame and at least one second fan disposed on the second fan frame. For example, the second fan frame may have four second fans installed, and each second fan may be capable of individual thermal maintenance.

[0099] In addition, some embodiments of this application do not limit the size of the second fan. Considering that the control node 4 is installed in the first height space and the control node 4 is a half-width control node 4, in order to realize the installation of the second fan module 44, combined with the heat dissipation requirements of the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43, in some embodiments, the second fan module 44 includes four second fans arranged side by side along the width direction of the chassis 1, and the outer diameter of a single second fan is 40mm.

[0100] Additionally, it should be noted that, in order to improve the heat dissipation effect of the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43, a heat sink can be used in conjunction with a second fan module 44 to dissipate heat from the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43.

[0101] Furthermore, in some embodiments, the control node 4 also includes a node cover 47 connected to the motherboard tray 46, one end of which extends to the second fan module 44, and the node cover 47 and the motherboard tray 46 form an air guide channel for guiding air.

[0102] In other words, some embodiments of this application place the second fan module 44 in the center, allowing the node cover 47 to extend directly to and contact the second fan module 44. Simultaneously, in conjunction with the motherboard tray 46, for example, the bottom and side walls of the motherboard tray 46 form an airflow channel with the node cover 47, guiding airflow to the memory module 42 and the central processing unit module 43. This structural layout eliminates the need for a draft shroud, resulting in a compact structure with minimal space occupation, and also simplifies the structure by eliminating the draft shroud component. Furthermore, the installation of the node cover 47 in conjunction with the motherboard tray 46 enhances the structural strength of the control node 4.

[0103] Additionally, as shown in Figure 15, in some embodiments, the motherboard 41 has a cutout hole 411 at the position corresponding to the second fan module 44.

[0104] In other words, some embodiments of this application provide height space for the second fan module 44 by setting a hollow hole 411 on the motherboard 41, thereby allowing the second fan module 44 to be centrally positioned within the first height space.

[0105] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 15, in some embodiments, the motherboard 41 is provided with wiring channels 412 and reinforcing ribs 413 on both sides of the cutout hole 411 along the width direction of the chassis 1.

[0106] In other words, some embodiments of this application provide wiring channels 412 on the portions of the motherboard 41 along the width direction located on both sides of the cutout hole 411 to facilitate communication between the front and rear of the motherboard 41 with respect to the cutout hole 411. Furthermore, since the channels on both sides of the cutout hole 411 along the width direction of the chassis 1 are relatively narrow, they can easily lead to insufficient strength of the motherboard 41. Therefore, some embodiments of this application improve the structural strength of the motherboard 41 by providing reinforcing ribs 413 on the portions of the motherboard 41 along the width direction of the chassis 1 located on both sides of the cutout hole 411. For example, the reinforcing ribs 413 can be metal structural components, fixed to the motherboard 41 by welding, which can improve the strength of the motherboard 41 to a certain extent.

[0107] Additionally, as shown in Figures 1 and 16, in some embodiments, a control node tray 8 is provided between the control node 4 and the second hard disk frame module 5. The control node tray 8 is provided with a cable pass-through hole 81 for passing through the interactive cable connecting the control node 4 and the second hard disk frame module 5.

[0108] It is understood that the control node tray 8 supports the control node 4. Some embodiments of this application provide wiring space for the interaction cables between the second hard disk frame module 5 and the control node 4 by providing cable holes 81 in the control node tray 8, so as to facilitate communication between the control node 4 and the second hard disk frame module 5.

[0109] In some embodiments, the control node tray 8 is a die-cast structural component. However, in related technologies, the tray structure used to support the control node 4 is a sheet metal structural component. Compared to sheet metal structural components, die-cast structural components have better structural strength and more flexible structural design, thus providing more effective support for the control node 4 to ensure smooth insertion and removal and precise positioning of the control node 4 during installation.

[0110] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 16, in some embodiments, the control node tray 8 is provided with a second cable management groove 82 for managing the interactive cables.

[0111] In other words, the interactive cables run along the second cable management groove 82 to organize the cables and keep them neat and tidy. It is understandable that when the control node tray 8 is a die-cast structure, compared to sheet metal structures, a better cable management method can be designed, providing more space for cable management, ensuring better cable management results, and reducing the risk of wear and tear on the interactive cables.

[0112] Additionally, as shown in Figure 16, in some embodiments, one of the control node tray 8 and the control node 4 is provided with a limiting groove 83, and the other is provided with a fourth limiting member that cooperates with the limiting groove 83 to limit the degree of freedom of the control node 4 along the height direction of the chassis 1.

[0113] It should be noted that the limiting groove 83 can have a certain length along the depth direction (i.e., the front-to-back direction) of the chassis 1, so that the fourth limiting member can slide along the limiting groove 83 for a certain distance. At the same time, the limiting groove 83 and the fourth limiting member cooperate to limit the movement of the control node 4 relative to the control node tray 8 along the height direction of the chassis 1. This ensures that during installation, the control node 4 can only slide into the control node tray 8 along the depth direction (i.e., the front-to-back direction) of the chassis 1, thereby ensuring that the control node 4 can be quickly installed and positioned, and improving the reliability and stability of the installation position of the control node 4.

[0114] In addition, it is understandable that the control node 4 is equipped with an insertion and removal handle. During installation, the insertion and removal handle, together with the limiting groove 83 and the fourth limiting component, can be used to install the control node 4 and prevent the control node 4 from moving away from the control node tray 8 during the installation process.

[0115] In some embodiments, the limiting groove 83 is located near the front or rear end of the control node tray 8, which helps to reduce the length of the limiting groove 83 and ensure the structural strength of the control node tray 8.

[0116] Additionally, it is understood that the control node tray 8 has side walls on both sides to laterally limit the control node 4. When there are two control nodes 4, the control node tray 8 can be an integral structure tray, that is, it can simultaneously support and limit the two control nodes 4. In this case, a third partition can be set at the middle position along the width direction of the control node tray 8. The third partition extends along the depth direction (i.e., the front-to-back direction) of the control node tray 8 to separate the two control nodes 4, and at the same time, the third partition is used to limit the control nodes 4 on both sides respectively.

[0117] It should be noted that the above embodiments do not limit the specific number of limiting slots 83. For example, one limiting slot 83 can be used to limit a single control node 4, or at least two limiting slots 83 can be used together to limit a single control node 4.

[0118] Additionally, it should be noted that the specific structure of the second hard disk frame module 5 is not limited in the above embodiments. For example, the second hard disk frame module 5 can be a second hard disk frame module 5 including 105 second hard disks. Specifically, the second hard disk frame module 5 can include three independent storage hard disk backplanes, each storage hard disk backplane supporting 35 second hard disks (of course, other numbers of second hard disks are also possible). Each second hard disk is detachably connected to its corresponding storage hard disk backplane to achieve quick removal of each second hard disk, so that each second hard disk can be individually maintained. Furthermore, it should be noted that, to facilitate maintenance of the second hard disks, all second hard disks can support hot maintenance.

[0119] In addition, the second hard drive frame module 5 includes a bracket, and the storage hard drive backplate is installed in a one-to-one correspondence with the bracket. The bracket is equipped with a quick-release handle, so that the storage hard drive backplate can be quickly installed and removed by moving the bracket through the quick-release handle.

[0120] In addition, the frame of the second hard disk frame module 5 can be equipped with a storage module handle to facilitate the overall assembly and disassembly of the second hard disk frame module 5.

[0121] In addition, the second hard drive frame module 5 can be locked to the chassis 1 by locking parts (such as thumb screws). When disassembling, it is only necessary to unlock the locking parts, such as by turning the thumb screws, to unlock the second hard drive frame module 5. Then, the second hard drive frame module 5 can be taken out of the chassis 1 by using the quick release handle.

[0122] The layout and structure of the second hard disk frame module 5 enable quick disassembly and installation, giving the server high installability and maintainability.

[0123] Furthermore, the specific structure of the first fan module 6 is not limited in the above embodiments, as long as the first fan module 6 can effectively dissipate heat from the second hard drive frame module 5. In some embodiments, the first fan module 6 is located at the rear window of the second height space of the chassis 1 to dissipate heat from the second hard drive frame module 5.

[0124] Furthermore, in some embodiments, the first fan module 6 includes a first fan frame and at least one first fan disposed on the first fan frame. For example, the first fan frame is equipped with five first fans, each of which can be individually thermally maintained.

[0125] In addition, some embodiments of this application do not limit the size of the fan. Considering the specific height and width of the second height space, and the heat dissipation requirements of the second hard disk frame module 5, in some embodiments, the first fan module 6 includes five first fans arranged side by side along the width direction of the chassis 1, and the outer diameter of a single first fan is 80mm.

[0126] The server provided in this application has been described in detail above. Specific examples have been used to illustrate the principles and implementation methods of this application. The descriptions of the embodiments above are merely for the purpose of helping to understand the method and core ideas of this application.
