Description

Charging docking device, charging device, vehicle and charging system

[0001] This disclosure claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202510500042.X, filed on April 18, 2025, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This disclosure relates to the field of vehicle technology, and more particularly to a charging docking device, a charging device, a vehicle, and a charging system. Background Technology

[0003] New energy vehicles, such as electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, are usually powered by batteries. When the battery power is insufficient, they need to be charged by a charging device to ensure the vehicle's range. Summary of the Invention

[0004] This disclosure provides a charging docking device, a charging device, a vehicle, and a charging system.

[0005] In a first aspect, a charging docking device is provided, including a first rotating arm and a second rotating arm. A first end of the first rotating arm is rotatably connected to a support member, the support member extending along a first direction. A first end of the second rotating arm is rotatably connected to a second end of the first rotating arm, the second end of the second rotating arm being adapted to connect a charging gun, the axis of the charging port corresponding to the charging gun being in a second direction. Rotation of at least one of the first and second rotating arms can move the charging gun in the first and second directions to dock with the charging port.

[0006] This allows the charging gun to move and connect to the charging port by rotating the first or second rotating arm, thereby charging the vehicle. Compared to the user holding the charging gun to charge the vehicle, the charging device eliminates the need for the user to hold the charging gun and insert it into the charging port, simplifying the user's operation and improving the convenience of charging the vehicle and enhancing the user's experience.

[0007] Furthermore, as the charging gun moves in the first and second directions due to the rotation of the first or second rotating arm, the charging gun only needs to move within the plane where the first and second directions are simultaneously located. This reduces the space required for the charging docking device to operate, facilitating its spatial configuration.

[0008] In some embodiments, the rotation axis of the second rotating arm relative to the first rotating arm is parallel to the rotation axis of the first rotating arm relative to the support.

[0009] In some embodiments, the charging docking device further satisfies at least one of the following: the extension direction of the first rotating arm is perpendicular to the rotation axis of the second rotating arm relative to the first rotating arm; and the extension direction of the second rotating arm is perpendicular to the rotation axis of the second rotating arm relative to the first rotating arm.

[0010] In some embodiments, the charging docking device further includes an adjusting member disposed at the second end of the second rotating arm. During the process of the charging docking device driving the charging gun into the charging port, at least a portion of the adjusting member can move in multiple directions to align the charging gun with the charging port.

[0016] In some embodiments, the charging docking device further includes a first controller connected to the drive member and the detection device. The first controller is configured to: control the drive member to drive at least one of the first rotating arm and the second rotating arm to move according to the first position information of the charging port detected by the detection device, so as to drive the charging gun to align with the charging port.

[0017] In some embodiments, the first controller is further configured to: when the battery charge is greater than or equal to a preset charge, control the drive to drive at least one of the first rotating arm and the second rotating arm to move, thereby causing the charging gun to exit the charging port. The battery corresponds to the charging port.

[0018] Secondly, a charging device is provided, including the aforementioned charging docking device and a support member, wherein the support member is connected to a first rotating arm and is adapted to be fixed on a mounting plane.

[0019] In some embodiments, the support includes a body and a first movable member. The body is rotatably connected to a first end of a first rotating arm, and the first movable member is connected to the body and configured to move the body along a first direction.

[0020] In some embodiments, the support includes a main body and a second movable member. The main body is rotatably connected to a first end of a first rotating arm, and the second movable member is connected to the main body and configured to drive the main body to move along a third direction, the third direction forming an angle of not less than 0 with the first direction and an angle of not less than 0 with the second direction.

[0021] Thirdly, a vehicle is provided, including a charging port adapted to be charged using the aforementioned charging device.

[0022] In some embodiments, the vehicle further includes a second controller, a first position sensor, and a vehicle body, both of which are connected to the vehicle body. The first position sensor is configured to detect the vehicle's location. The second controller is electrically connected to the first position sensor. The second controller is configured to control the vehicle to move to a preset position based on second position information detected by the first position sensor. The preset position is the location where the vehicle is charging via a charging device.

[0023] In some embodiments, the vehicle further includes a drive motor and a protective cover. The protective cover is disposed at the charging port, and the drive motor is configured to drive the protective cover to move to open or close the charging port. A second controller is electrically connected to the drive motor. Detailed Implementation

[0036] In the embodiments of this disclosure, the terms "first," "second," "third," "fourth," "fifth," and "sixth" are used for descriptive purposes only and should not be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly specifying the number of indicated technical features. Thus, a feature defined with "first," "second," "third," "fourth," "fifth," and "sixth" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of that feature.

[0037] In embodiments of this disclosure, the terms "comprising," "including," or any other variations thereof are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements includes not only those elements but also other elements not expressly listed, or elements inherent to such a process, method, article, or apparatus. Without further limitation, an element defined by the phrase "comprising one..." does not exclude the presence of other identical elements in the process, method, article, or apparatus that includes that element.

[0038] In embodiments of this disclosure, "parallel," "perpendicular," and "equal" include the described situation and situations that are similar to the described situation, within an acceptable deviation range, which is determined by those skilled in the art taking into account the measurement under discussion and the error associated with the measurement of a particular quantity (i.e., the limitations of the measurement system). For example, "parallel" includes absolute parallelism and approximate parallelism, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate parallelism may be, for example, within 5°; "perpendicular" includes absolute perpendicularity and approximate perpendicularity, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate perpendicularity may also be, for example, within 5°; "equal" includes absolute equality and approximate equality, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate equality may be, for example, a difference between the two equalities less than or equal to 5% of either one.

[0039] The slash " / " means "or". For example, A / B can mean either A or B. In this article, "and / or" is simply a way of describing the relationship between related objects, indicating that there can be three relationships. For example, A and / or B can mean: only A, only B, and A and B.

[0040] In related technologies, when charging a vehicle using a charging device, the user usually needs to manually insert the charging gun of the charging device into the charging port on the vehicle to charge the vehicle's battery. This makes the charging process cumbersome and affects the convenience for the user.

[0041] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, Figure 1 is a structural diagram of a vehicle 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 2 is a structural diagram of a charging system 1000 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The charging system includes the vehicle 100 and a charging device 200, which can charge the battery of the vehicle 100, thereby providing electrical energy for the vehicle 100 to drive.

[0042] As shown in Figure 1, the vehicle 100 includes a vehicle body 10 and a battery. The battery is connected to the vehicle body 10 and is configured to store and provide electrical energy to the vehicle body 10. The vehicle body 10 can consume electrical energy to move, thereby enabling the vehicle 100 to travel.

[0043] The vehicle body 10 is provided with a charging port 1, which is connected to the battery via a wiring harness. The charging port 1 is configured to be charged via a charging device 200. During the charging process of the charging port 1 through the charging device 200, current can flow through the charging port 1 to the battery to charge the battery.

[0044] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, Figure 3 is a partial enlarged view of point A in Figure 2. In some embodiments, the charging device 200 includes a charging gun 20 and a charging docking device 30.

[0045] As shown in Figure 4, which is an external structural diagram of a charging device 200 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the charging device 200 further includes a support member 4, which is connected to the charging docking device 30 and fixed to the mounting plane. This provides support for the charging docking device 30.

[0046] The support member 4 extends along a first direction (the Z direction shown in Figure 2). The first direction can be a vertical direction, a horizontal direction, or other directions. In some embodiments, the first direction is a vertical direction, which facilitates the support member 4 in supporting the charging docking device 30 at a certain height, making it convenient to charge the vehicle 100.

[0047] For example, support component 4 can be a support base, support rod, support frame, etc. The mounting surface can be a surface such as the ground or a wall.

[0048] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG4, the charging docking device 30 includes a first rotating arm 31 and a second rotating arm 32.

[0049] The first end of the first rotating arm 31 is rotatably connected to the support member 4. The first end of the second rotating arm 32 is rotatably connected to the second end of the first rotating arm 31. The second end of the second rotating arm 32 is adapted to connect to the charging gun 20, and the axis of the charging port 1 corresponding to the charging gun 20 is in the second direction (the X direction shown in Figure 2).

[0050] The rotation of the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 can drive the charging gun 20 to move in the first direction and the second direction to connect with the charging port 1.

[0051] For example, the second direction can be horizontal, vertical, or other directions. In some embodiments, the second direction is horizontal so that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1 to charge the battery.

[0052] In this way, the rotation of the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 can drive the charging gun 20 to move and connect to the charging port 1, thereby realizing the charging of the vehicle 100. Compared with the user holding the charging gun 20 to charge the vehicle 100, when the charging device 200 charges the vehicle 100, the user does not need to hold the charging gun 20 and insert it into the charging port 1. This simplifies the user's operation process and improves the convenience of charging the vehicle 100.

[0053] Furthermore, as the charging gun 20 moves in the first and second directions due to the rotation of the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32, the charging gun 20 only needs to move within the plane where the first and second directions are simultaneously located. This reduces the space required for the charging docking device 30 to operate, facilitating its spatial arrangement.

[0054] In some embodiments, the charging gun 20 can be moved in the first and second directions to connect with the charging port 1 simply by rotating the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32. In this case, the movement trajectory of the charging gun 20 is an arc.

[0055] In some embodiments, both the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 can rotate to drive the charging gun 20 to move in the first direction and the second direction to connect with the charging port 1. At this time, the charging gun 20 can move in a circular plane with the first end of the first rotating arm 31 as the center and the sum of the lengths of the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 as the radius, which can improve the flexibility of the charging docking device 30 when driving the charging gun 20 to move.

[0056] In some embodiments, the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31 is parallel to the rotation axis of the first rotating arm 31 relative to the support member 4.

[0057] Compared to the first rotating arm 31 rotating to move the charging gun 20 in the first and second directions to connect with the charging port 1, or the second rotating arm 32 rotating to move the charging gun 20 in the first and second directions to connect with the charging port 1, when the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31 is parallel to the rotation axis of the first rotating arm 31 relative to the support member 4, the simultaneous rotation of the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 can also move the charging gun 20 in the first and second directions to connect with the charging port 1. This further improves the flexibility of the charging docking device 30 when moving the charging gun 20.

[0058] In addition, the structure of the charging device 200 is relatively simple and easier to implement, which can save the processing cost of the charging device 200 and facilitate the installation of the charging device 200.

[0059] It should be noted that, under the above circumstances, the charging port 1 of the vehicle 100 needs to be aligned with the charging gun 20 in advance. That is, when the vehicle 100 stops moving, the charging port 1 of the vehicle 100 needs to be located on the plane where the first rotating arm 31, the second rotating arm 32 and the charging gun 20 are located, so as to ensure that the charging gun 20 can extend into the charging port 1 when it moves in the above circular plane.

[0060] In some embodiments, the extending direction of the first rotating arm 31 is perpendicular to the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31. Of course, in other embodiments, the angle between the extending direction of the first rotating arm 31 and the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31 can also be an acute angle.

[0061] In this way, the first rotating arm 31 can move directly within the plane where the first direction and the second direction are simultaneously located, thereby saving the space occupied by the first rotating arm 31 in the direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, so as to facilitate the spatial arrangement of the charging docking device 30. It can also save the material for processing the first rotating arm 31, thereby reducing the processing cost of the charging docking device 30.

[0062] In some embodiments, the extending direction of the second rotating arm 32 is perpendicular to the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31. Of course, in other embodiments, the angle between the extending direction of the second rotating arm 32 and the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31 may also be an acute angle.

[0063] In this way, the second rotating arm 32 can also move directly within the plane where the first and second directions are simultaneously located, thereby saving the space occupied by the second rotating arm 32 in the direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, which also facilitates the spatial arrangement of the charging docking device 30. Furthermore, it also saves material used in processing the second rotating arm 32, thereby reducing the processing cost of the charging docking device 30.

[0064] In some embodiments, the first rotating arm 31 includes a first rotating rod, and the second rotating arm 32 includes a second rotating rod, the second rotating rod and the first rotating rod being rotatably connected.

[0065] The charging gun 20 includes a gun body and a charging harness, with the gun body connected to a second rotating rod. The power supply harness is connected to the gun body and configured to transmit electrical energy to the gun body. In this case, the power supply harness can be directly fixed to either the first or the second rotating rod.

[0066] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, Figure 5 is an internal structural diagram of a charging device 200 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. A first rotating arm 31 includes a first housing 311. A second rotating arm 32 includes a second housing 321. A support member 4 includes a third housing 41. The internal space of the first housing 311 is in communication with the internal spaces of the second housing 321 and the third housing 41.

[0067] The power supply harness of the charging gun 20 passes through the third housing 41, the first housing 311 and the second housing 321 in sequence, and is connected to the gun body.

[0068] This provides protection for the power supply harness through the first housing 311, the second housing 321, and the third housing 41, preventing damage to the power supply harness, slowing down the aging of the power supply harness, and extending the service life of the power supply harness.

[0069] Based on this, in some embodiments as shown in FIG5, the first rotating arm 31 further includes a first mounting tube 312, which is fixed inside the first housing 311. The second rotating arm 32 further includes a second mounting tube 322, which is fixed inside the first housing 311. The support member 4 further includes a third mounting tube 42, which is fixed inside the third housing 41.

[0070] The power supply harness is sequentially threaded through the third mounting tube 42, the first mounting tube 312, and the second mounting tube 322. This allows the power supply harness to be limited by the third mounting tube 42, the first mounting tube 312, and the second mounting tube 322, preventing the power supply harness from being scattered inside the first housing 311, the second housing 321, and the third housing 41, and facilitating the maintenance and upkeep of the power supply harness.

[0071] In some embodiments, the support further includes a main body and a first movable member. The main body is rotatably connected to a first end of a first rotating arm 31, and the first movable member is connected to the main body and configured to drive the main body to move along a first direction. The main body is provided with a third mounting tube 42.

[0072] In this way, when the charging docking device 30 drives the charging gun 20 to extend into the charging port 1, if there is a deviation between the charging port 1 and the charging gun 20 in the first direction, the first moving part can also drive the main body to move along the first direction, thereby adjusting the position of the charging docking device 30, so as to adjust the position of the charging gun 20 to align the charging gun 20 with the charging port 1, thereby ensuring that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100. This can improve the flexibility of the charging device 200 when it drives the charging gun 20 to move.

[0073] In some embodiments, the support further includes a main body and a second movable member. The main body is rotatably connected to the first end of the first rotating arm 31, and the second movable member is connected to the main body and configured to drive the main body to move along a third direction. The third direction forms an angle of not less than 0 with both the first and second directions. In some embodiments, the third direction is perpendicular to the first direction and perpendicular to the second direction (the Y direction shown in FIG2).

[0074] In this way, when the charging docking device 30 drives the charging gun 20 to extend into the charging port 1, if there is a deviation between the charging port 1 and the charging gun 20 in the third direction, and the charging docking device 30 cannot align the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1, the second moving part can drive the main body to move along the third direction, thereby adjusting the position of the charging docking device 30 to adjust the position of the charging gun 20 so that the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1 are aligned, thus ensuring that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100. This can further improve the flexibility of the charging device 200 when it drives the charging gun 20 to move.

[0075] Based on this, as shown in Figure 4, the charging docking device 30 also includes an adjusting member 40. The adjusting member 40 is disposed at the second end of the second rotating arm 32. During the process of the charging docking device 30 driving the charging gun 20 to extend into the charging port 1, at least a portion of the adjusting member 40 can move in multiple directions to align the charging gun 20 with the charging port 1.

[0076] It should be noted that the ability of at least a portion of the adjusting member 40 to move in multiple directions can mean that the adjusting member 40 can move in multiple directions or that the adjusting member 40 can deform in multiple directions.

[0077] In this way, even if the charging gun 20 is not aligned with the charging port 1 when the charging docking device 30 moves the charging gun 20 into the charging port 1, and there is a deviation between the charging port 1 and the charging gun 20, the position of the charging gun 20 can be adjusted by the adjusting member 40 moving in multiple directions to align the charging gun 20 with the charging port 1, thereby ensuring that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100 and ensuring the normal function of the charging device 200.

[0078] Furthermore, by adjusting the charging gun 20 to align with the charging port 1 using the adjusting component 40, the pressure between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1 during the process of the charging gun 20 extending into the charging port 1 can be reduced, thereby reducing the friction between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1, reducing the wear of the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1, and extending the service life of the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1.

[0079] For example, the adjusting component 40 can be a motor, which drives the charging gun 20 to move relative to the second rotating arm 32, thereby adjusting the position of the charging gun 20.

[0080] For example, the adjusting member 40 may include an elastic element, such as a rubber block, a spring, or an elastic airbag 401.

[0081] In this way, as the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1, the charging port 1 can guide the charging gun 20, causing the elastic element to deform elastically, thereby moving the charging gun 20 and aligning it with the charging port 1, ensuring that the charging gun 20 can be properly inserted into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100.

[0082] Based on this, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG4, the charging device 200 further includes a detection device 50, which is connected to the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 and is configured to detect the position of the charging port 1 of the vehicle 100.

[0083] In this way, the charging device 200 can determine the position of the charging port 1 through the detection device 50, so that the charging docking device 30 can drive the charging gun 20 to move and accurately insert the charging gun 20 into the charging port 1, thus ensuring the charging function of the charging device 200 for the vehicle 100.

[0084] In some embodiments, the detection device 50 may be connected to both the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32.

[0085] For example, the detection device 50 may include a light sensor to detect the light reflected from the vehicle 100 to determine the location of the charging port 1.

[0086] For example, the detection device 50 may include an acoustic sensor to detect the acoustic waves reflected by the vehicle 100 to determine the location of the charging port 1.

[0087] For example, the detection device 50 may include a camera to photograph the vehicle 100 and determine the location of the charging port 1. The camera may be a binocular camera, a monocular camera, or the like.

[0088] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the charging docking device 30 further includes a driving member 2. The driving member 2 is connected to at least one of the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32, and is configured to drive the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 to rotate, thereby aligning the charging gun 20 with the charging port 1.

[0089] Thus, when the vehicle 100 needs to be charged, the drive unit 2 can drive the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 to rotate, thereby causing the charging gun 20 to move along the first direction and the second direction, so that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100.

[0090] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG4, the driving member 2 includes a first driving member 21 and a second driving member 22. The first driving member 21 is fixed to the support member 4 and connected to the first rotating arm 31 to drive the first rotating arm 31 to rotate.

[0091] The second driving member 22 is fixed to the first rotating arm 31 and connected to the second rotating arm 32 to drive the second rotating arm 32 to rotate.

[0092] For example, the first driving component 21 and the second driving component 22 can both be servo motors, stepper motors, hydraulic motors, etc.

[0093] For example, one of the first driving element 21 and the second driving element 22 can be a servo motor, and the other of the first driving element 21 and the second driving element 22 can be a stepper motor.

[0094] In this way, the first rotating arm 31 can be driven to rotate relative to the support member 4 by the first driving member 21, and the second rotating arm 32 can be driven to rotate relative to the first rotating arm 31 by the second driving member 22, thereby realizing the driving function of the driving member 2 on the charging docking device 30, so that the charging docking device 30 can drive the charging gun 20 to extend into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100.

[0095] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG4, the charging device 200 further includes a first controller 60, which is connected to the drive unit 2 and the detection device 50. The first controller 60 is configured to:

[0096] Based on the first position information of the charging port 1 detected by the detection device 50, the control drive 2 drives the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 to move, so as to drive the charging gun 20 to align with the charging port 1.

[0097] Of course, the drive unit 2 can also drive the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 to move at the same time.

[0098] In this way, the charging device 200 can be automated through the first controller 60. When the vehicle 100 needs to be charged, the first controller 60 can control the drive unit to work according to the first position information detected by the detection device 50, so as to drive the charging docking device 30 to drive the charging gun 20 to align with the charging port 1. This can further simplify the user's charging operation process for the vehicle 100 and further improve the convenience of charging the vehicle 100.

[0099] It should be noted that the first controller 60 continuously controls the driving component 2 to drive the charging docking device 30 to align the charging gun 20 with the charging port 1 based on the first position information. That is, the first controller 60 continuously receives the first position information of the charging port 1 detected by the detection device 50, and controls the driving component 2 to drive the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 to rotate based on the new first position information received, continuously adjusting the position of the charging gun 20 so that the charging gun 20 can be aligned with the charging port 1.

[0100] In some embodiments, the first controller 60 is further configured to: when the battery charge is greater than or equal to a preset charge, control the drive unit 2 to drive the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 to move, so as to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1. The battery corresponds to the charging port 1.

[0101] Of course, the drive unit 2 can also drive the first rotating arm 31 and the second rotating arm 32 to move at the same time.

[0102] In some embodiments, the first controller 60 is further configured to: acquire the battery charge of the vehicle 100; determine whether the battery charge is greater than or equal to a preset charge; if it is determined that the battery charge is greater than or equal to the preset charge, control the drive unit 2 to drive the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 to move, so as to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1.

[0103] It should be noted that the preset charge level is the amount of charge required for the vehicle 100's battery, as set by the user. For example, if the user needs to fully charge the vehicle 100's battery, the preset charge level can be set to 100%. Once the battery is fully charged, the first controller 60 will control the drive unit 2 to operate, causing the charging docking device 30 to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1. The user can also set the preset charge level to 60%, 70%, 80%, etc., as needed.

[0104] In this way, when the battery of vehicle 100 is charged to the preset level, the first controller 60 will control the drive component 2 to drive the first rotating arm 31 or the second rotating arm 32 to move, so that the charging docking device 30 drives the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1, thereby stopping the charging gun 20 from charging vehicle 100, meeting the user's charging needs. Moreover, by driving the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1 through the charging docking device 30, the user does not need to manually pull the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1, further improving the convenience of charging vehicle 100 for the user.

[0105] It is understandable that the charging docking device 30 will return to its initial position after driving the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1.

[0106] Based on this, in some embodiments, the first controller 60 is further configured to: acquire the operating parameters of the battery of the vehicle 100. If it is determined that the operating parameters of the battery are greater than a preset value, the controller controls the charging docking device 30 to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1.

[0107] In some embodiments, the first controller 60 is further configured to: acquire the operating parameters of the battery of the vehicle 100; determine whether the operating parameters of the battery are greater than a preset value; if it is determined that the operating parameters of the battery are greater than the preset value, control the charging docking device 30 to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1.

[0108] For example, the operating parameters of a battery can be its temperature, current, voltage, etc.

[0109] This allows for monitoring of the battery charging process. When the battery's operating parameters exceed preset values, it indicates an abnormality in the charging process. In this case, the first controller 60 will control the charging docking device 30 to drive the charging gun 20 out of the charging port 1 to stop charging the battery and prevent damage to the battery.

[0110] It should be noted that the preset values of the operating parameters refer to the voltage, current, or temperature when the battery is charging normally.

[0111] To facilitate charging of the vehicle 100 by the charging device 200, the vehicle 100 in some embodiments of this disclosure further includes a second controller and a first position sensor.

[0112] Both the second controller and the first position sensor are connected to the vehicle body 10. The first position sensor is configured to detect the position of the vehicle 100.

[0113] The second controller is electrically connected to the first position sensor. The second controller is configured to receive second position information of the vehicle 100 detected by the first position sensor, and control the vehicle 100 to move to a preset position based on the second position information of the vehicle 100 detected by the first position sensor.

[0114] For example, the preset location is the location where the vehicle 100 is charging via the charging device 200.

[0115] For example, the first position sensor may include a camera that captures images of the environment surrounding the vehicle 100 to determine the location of the vehicle 100. The first position sensor may also include a laser sensor that scans the surrounding environment to determine the location of the vehicle 100.

[0116] In this way, the second controller can first control the vehicle 100 to move to a preset position, ensuring that the charging port 1 of the vehicle 100 is located at a position that the charging docking device 30 can move the charging gun 20 to.

[0117] In some embodiments, the rotation axis of the second rotating arm 32 relative to the first rotating arm 31 is parallel to the rotation axis of the first rotating arm 31 relative to the support member 4. The vehicle 100 needs to be moved to a position where the charging port 1 is located on the plane containing the first rotating arm 31, the second rotating arm 32, and the charging gun 20. This ensures that the charging gun 20 can extend into the charging port 1, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the charging device 200.

[0118] It is understandable that when the vehicle 100 is in the charging position, the charging port 1 is located on the side of the vehicle 100 facing the charging device 200, so that the charging gun 20 can be inserted into the charging port 1.

[0119] In some examples, the second controller is electrically connected to the battery and is configured to detect the battery's charge level and operating parameters, and to transmit the detected battery charge level and operating parameters to the first controller 60 so that the first controller 60 can acquire the battery's charge level and operating parameters.

[0120] In some embodiments, the vehicle 100 further includes a drive motor and a protective cover, the protective cover being disposed at the charging port 1, and the drive motor being configured to drive the protective cover to move to open or close the charging port 1.

[0121] The second controller is electrically connected to the drive motor. The second controller is configured to control the drive motor to open the charging port 1 when the vehicle 100 moves to a preset position.

[0122] In this way, after the vehicle 100 moves to the preset position, the second controller will control the drive motor to drive the protective cover to move and open the charging port 1, so as to avoid the protective cover blocking the charging gun 20 and ensure that the charging gun 20 can be inserted into the charging port 1 to charge the vehicle 100.

[0123] Furthermore, the second controller controls the protective cover to open the charging port 1, eliminating the need for the user to manually open the charging port 1, thus further improving the convenience of charging the vehicle 100.

[0124] In some embodiments, the vehicle 100 further includes a second position sensor. The second position sensor is configured to detect the position of the distance between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1. A second controller and the second position sensor are both electrically connected. The second controller is further configured to: acquire the distance between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1 detected by the second position sensor; if it is determined that the distance between the charging gun 20 and the protective cover is less than or equal to a preset distance, then the drive motor is controlled to drive the protective cover to open the charging port 1, so that the charging docking device 30 moves the charging gun 20 so that the charging gun 20 extends into the charging port 1.

[0125] For example, the preset distance can be 20 to 30 cm.

[0126] During the charging process of vehicle 100, as the charging docking device 30 moves the charging gun 20 toward the charging port 1, the distance between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1 will gradually decrease. When the distance between the charging gun 20 and the protective cover is less than or equal to the preset distance, it means that the charging gun 20 has moved to the vicinity of the charging port 1. At this time, the drive motor can be controlled to drive the protective cover to open the charging port 1 so that the charging gun 20 can be inserted into the charging port 1 to charge vehicle 100.

[0127] In some embodiments, the second controller is further configured to control the protective cover to close the charging port 1 when the distance between the charging gun 20 and the protective cover is greater than a preset distance.

[0128] In this way, after the vehicle 100 has finished charging and the charging gun 20 extends out of the charging port 1, or when the vehicle 100 is not charging, the protective cover can close the charging port 1 to prevent dust, rainwater, etc. from entering the charging port 1, affecting the charging function of the charging port 1 or causing damage to the charging port 1, and extending the service life of the charging port 1.

[0129] In some embodiments, the vehicle 100 further includes a suspension assembly connected between the vehicle body 10 and the wheels of the vehicle 100, and configured to adjust the position of the vehicle body 10 relative to the wheels.

[0130] In this way, while the vehicle 100 is in motion, the suspension components can adjust the position of the vehicle body 10 relative to the wheels to cushion the vehicle body.

[0131] In some embodiments, the second controller is electrically connected to the suspension assembly, and is further configured to: acquire position information of the charging gun 20 during the process of the charging docking device 30 driving the charging gun 20 to extend into the charging port 1; and adjust the position of the vehicle body 10 relative to the wheels according to the position information of the charging gun 20 so that the charging port 1 is aligned with the charging gun 20.

[0132] It is understandable that the suspension assembly is an active suspension. It should be noted that adjusting the position of the vehicle body 10 relative to the wheels refers to adjusting the distance between the vehicle body 10 and the wheels, the angle of deflection of the vehicle body 10 relative to the wheels, etc., in order to adjust the height and orientation of the charging port 1.

[0133] This allows the height and orientation of the charging port 1 to be adjusted by adjusting the position of the suspension components relative to the wheels, so that the charging gun 20 can be inserted into the charging port 1 more smoothly, further reducing wear between the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1, and extending the service life of the charging gun 20 and the charging port 1.

[0134] It should be noted that the aforementioned controllers (including the first controller and the second controller) include processors. Processors may include central processing units (CPUs), microprocessors, or application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and may be configured to perform the corresponding operations described in the controller when the processor executes a program stored in a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the controller. Non-transitory computer-readable storage media may include magnetic storage devices (e.g., hard disks, floppy disks, or magnetic tapes), smart cards, or flash memory devices (e.g., erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM), cards, sticks, or keyboard drives).

[0135] In some embodiments, users can control the vehicle charging process through a mobile application (APP).

[0136] In some embodiments, users can input preset charging data for vehicle 100 into a mobile app, enabling the app to control the charging process of vehicle 100 based on the input data and initiate the charging process of vehicle 100 through the app.

[0137] For example, a user can input a state of charge (SOC) limit for vehicle 100 to limit the amount of charge applied to the vehicle 100's battery. When the charging device 200 reaches the SOC limit, it will stop charging vehicle 100. Alternatively, the user can control the charging time of vehicle 100, etc.

[0138] For example, the preset charging data for a vehicle can be entered on a mobile phone via voice input or manual input.

[0139] In some embodiments, the charging process of vehicle 100 can also be initiated by the vehicle's infotainment system. For example, the charging process of vehicle 100 can be controlled by a program on the display of vehicle 100, buttons on vehicle 100, etc.

[0140] In the description of the embodiments disclosed herein, specific features, structures, materials, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments or examples.

[0141] The above are merely specific embodiments of this disclosure, but the scope of protection of this disclosure is not limited thereto. Any variations or substitutions that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art within the scope of the technology disclosed in this disclosure should be included within the scope of protection of this disclosure. Therefore, the scope of protection of this disclosure should be determined by the scope of the claims.
