Description

Communication methods and communication devices

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510489818.2, filed on April 17, 2025, entitled "Communication Method and Communication Device", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This application relates to the field of communications, and more particularly to a communication method and a communication device. Background Technology

[0003] In massively multi-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology, estimating the uplink or downlink channel becomes increasingly important for transmitting and receiving data, obtaining system synchronization and feedback channel information. However, obtaining channel state information (CSI) based on a reference signal introduces additional latency, and the measurement and feedback of the reference signal increases signaling overhead, which is detrimental to new services with sudden large traffic volumes and short latency.

[0004] The method of obtaining CSI or data transmission parameters based on multipath component (MPC) information can save overhead, but the accuracy of the obtained CSI may be reduced. Consequently, in the design of precoding schemes, it can cause problems such as incomplete interference cancellation and large interference between multiple users, which reduces the system's spectral efficiency. Summary of the Invention

[0005] This application provides a communication method and a communication device that can reduce inter-stream interference and increase the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of each stream, thereby improving the system communication performance.

[0006] Firstly, a communication method is provided, which can be executed by a communication device. This communication device can be a terminal device, or a component for the terminal device (such as a chip or circuit, which can be a modem chip, also known as a baseband chip, or a system-on-chip (SoC) or system-in-package (SIP) chip containing a modem core, etc.), or a logic module or software capable of implementing some or all of the functions of the terminal device, etc., and this application does not limit this. The following description uses a terminal device as an example.

[0007] The method may include: acquiring multipath component (MPC) information; sending first indication information, the first indication information indicating a first parameter, the first parameter being determined based on the MPC information, the first parameter including interference-related parameters and / or noise-related parameters, the first parameter being used to indicate the downlink precoding matrix.

[0008] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine and indicate the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information. The first parameter is used to indicate the downlink precoding matrix; that is, the network device can determine the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. For example, when determining the downlink precoding matrix, the network device can perform interference and noise compensation based on the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. Since the downlink precoding matrix takes the first parameter into account, the SINR value of each stream can be effectively improved when performing downlink data transmission based on this downlink precoding matrix, thereby improving system communication performance.

[0009] In conjunction with the first aspect, in some implementations of the first aspect, the method further includes: sending MPC information, the MPC information being used to determine channel information, and the first parameter being used to indicate the downlink precoding matrix, including: the first parameter and the channel information being used to indicate the downlink precoding matrix.

[0010] Based on the above technical solution, network devices can determine channel information based on MPC information, and then determine the downlink precoding matrix based on the channel information. The downlink precoding matrix can then be corrected or calibrated by the first parameter. When performing downlink data transmission based on the downlink precoding matrix, the impact of inter-stream interference can be reduced, and the SINR value of each stream can be improved, thereby improving the system communication performance.

[0011] In conjunction with the first aspect, in some implementations of the first aspect, the first parameter is determined based on MPC information, including: the first parameter is determined based on MPC information and at least one of the following: second indication information, the number of suggested flows of the terminal, the prior strength of the terminal, or the prior interference information of the terminal, wherein the second indication information is associated with at least two terminals scheduled.

[0012] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine the first parameter by combining multiple pieces of information, thereby improving the accuracy of the first parameter. For example, the terminal device can determine the first parameter based on MPC information and second indication information. The second indication information is associated with at least two scheduled terminals; in other words, the second indication information can reflect the scheduling status of the network devices. In this way, the terminal device can determine the first parameter based on MPC information and the scheduling status of the network devices, further enhancing the first parameter's ability to compensate for interference and noise. Subsequently, downlink data transmission based on the downlink precoding matrix indicated by the first parameter can reduce the impact of inter-stream interference, increase the SINR value of each stream, and thus improve communication performance.

[0013] In conjunction with the first aspect, in some implementations of the first aspect, the method further includes: receiving second instruction information.

[0014] Based on the above technical solution, the network device can send the second indication information to the terminal device. The second indication information is associated with at least two terminals that are scheduled. In other words, the second indication information indicates the scheduling status of the network device, so that the terminal device can determine the scheduling status of the network device based on the second indication information.

[0015] In conjunction with the first aspect, in some implementations of the first aspect, the method further includes: sending MPC information, the MPC information being used to determine the second indication information.

[0016] Based on the above technical solution, network devices can determine the second indication information based on MPC information, which saves system overhead compared with determining the second indication information based on reference signals.

[0017] In conjunction with the first aspect, in some implementations of the first aspect, the second indication information includes at least one of the following: the number of scheduled flows, the number of scheduled terminals, and the number of ports of the reference signal.

[0018] Based on the above technical solution, the second indication information can reflect the scheduling status of network devices in a variety of ways, providing terminal devices with multiple options for understanding the scheduling status of network devices.

[0019] Secondly, a communication method is provided, which can be executed by a communication device. This communication device can be a terminal device, or a component for a terminal device (such as a chip or circuit, which can be a modem chip, also known as a baseband chip, or a SoC or SIP chip containing a modem core, etc.), or a logic module or software capable of implementing some or all of the functions of the terminal device, etc., and this application does not limit this. The following description uses a terminal device as an example.

[0020] The method may include: acquiring MPC information; sending data, the data being processed based on an uplink precoding matrix, the uplink precoding matrix being determined based on a first parameter, the first parameter being determined based on the MPC information, the first parameter including interference-related parameters and / or noise-related parameters.

[0021] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine a first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information, and can determine the uplink precoding matrix based on this first parameter. For example, when determining the uplink precoding matrix, the terminal device can perform interference and noise compensation based on the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. Since the uplink precoding matrix takes the first parameter into account, uplink data transmission based on this uplink precoding matrix can effectively improve the SINR value of each stream, thereby improving the system communication performance.

[0022] In conjunction with the second aspect, in some implementations of the second aspect, the first parameter is determined based on MPC information, including: the first parameter is determined based on MPC information and at least one of the following: second indication information, the number of suggested flows of the terminal, the prior strength of the terminal, or the prior interference information of the terminal, and the second indication information is associated with at least two terminals scheduled.

[0023] In conjunction with the second aspect, in some implementations of the second aspect, the method further includes: receiving second instruction information.

[0065] The technical solutions in this application will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0066] Before introducing the scheme of this application, the following points should be noted.

[0067] (1) In this application, "instruction" can include direct instruction, indirect instruction, explicit instruction, implicit instruction, etc. When describing an instruction as being used to instruct A, it can be understood that the instruction carries A, carries the identifier of A, carries B which is associated with A, carries the identifier of B which is associated with A, etc. In other words, if the receiving side of an instruction can determine A based on the instruction, it can be described as the instruction being used to instruct A or the instruction indicating A, and the specific method of determination is not limited. In addition, when describing an instruction as indicating or being used to instruct A, "instruction" or "used to instruct" can be replaced with "includes". In this case, a statement such as "sending / receiving instruction information, the instruction information being used to instruct A" can be replaced with "sending / receiving A".

[0068] In this application, the information indicated by the instruction information is called the information to be instructed. In specific implementations, there are many ways to indicate the information to be instructed, such as, but not limited to, directly indicating the information to be instructed, such as the information to be instructed itself or its index. It can also indirectly indicate the information to be instructed by indicating other information, where there is a relationship between the other information and the information to be instructed. It can also indicate only a part of the information to be instructed, while the other parts are known or pre-agreed upon. For example, the instruction of specific information can be achieved by using a pre-agreed (e.g., protocol-defined) arrangement of various pieces of information, thereby reducing instruction overhead to some extent. Furthermore, the information to be instructed can be sent as a whole or divided into multiple sub-information pieces, and the sending period and / or timing of these sub-information pieces can be the same or different.

[0069] (2) In this application, the expression " / " is used to indicate that the objects before and after are in an "or" relationship; for example, A / B can mean: A or B. The expression "and / or" is used to indicate that the objects before and after are in a relationship of either "and" or "or"; for example, A and / or B can mean the following: A exists alone, B exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, where A and B can be single or multiple. "At least one of the following" or similar expressions are used to indicate any combination of the listed items; for example, at least one of A, B and / or C can mean the following: A exists alone, B exists alone, C exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, B and C exist simultaneously, A and C exist simultaneously, A, B and C exist simultaneously, where A, B, and C can be single or multiple.

[0070] (3) In this application, "send" and "receive" indicate the direction of signal transmission. For example, "send information to XX" can be understood as the destination of the information being XX, which may include direct transmission via the air interface or indirect transmission by other units or modules via the air interface. "Receive information from YY" can be understood as the source of the information being YY, which may include direct reception from YY via the air interface or indirect reception from YY by other units or modules via the air interface. "Send" can also be understood as the "output" of the chip interface, and "receive" can also be understood as the "input" of the chip interface. In other words, sending and receiving can occur between devices, such as between network devices and terminal devices, or within a device, such as between components, modules, chips, software modules, or hardware modules within the device via a bus, wiring, or interface.

[0071] (4) In the various embodiments of this application, unless otherwise specified or in case of logical conflict, the terms and / or descriptions of different embodiments are consistent and can be referenced by each other. The technical features of different embodiments can be combined to form new embodiments according to their inherent logical relationship.

[0072] (5) In this application, “first”, “second”, and “#1”, “#2”, “#A”, “#B” are only for the convenience of description and are used to distinguish objects, and are not intended to limit the scope of the embodiments of this application.

[0073] (6) In this application, "predefined" can mean a standard protocol predefined, or it can mean a pre-agreed or pre-negotiated agreement between devices. Here, "protocol" can refer to a standard protocol in the field of communications, for example, it may include fourth-generation (4G) protocols. th Generation 4G network, fifth generation (5G) network th This application does not limit the scope to network protocols such as 5G (generation, 5G), New Radio (NR), 5.5G, and related protocols used in future communication networks.

[0074] (7) In this application, the words “exemplary,” “for example,” etc., are used to indicate examples, illustrations, or descriptions. Any embodiment or design described as an “example” in this application should not be construed as being more preferred or advantageous than other embodiments or designs. Specifically, the use of the word “example” is intended to present the concept in a concrete manner. In the embodiments of this application, “of,” “corresponding, relevant,” and “corresponding” may sometimes be used interchangeably, and it should be noted that their intended meanings are consistent unless their distinction is emphasized.

[0075] (8) Matrix transformations are involved multiple times in various embodiments of this application, and will be explained uniformly here. The superscript H denotes the conjugate transpose, such as A... H This represents the conjugate transpose of matrix (or vector) A. The superscript -1 indicates the inverse of the matrix, such as A... -1 It represents the inverse of matrix (or vector) A.

[0089] In this embodiment, the device for implementing the functions of a network device can be a network device itself, or a device capable of supporting the network device in implementing those functions, such as a chip system, chip, circuit, or communication module (i.e., a communication module that performs communication functions). This device can be installed within the network device. In this embodiment, the chip system can be composed of chips, or it can include chips and other discrete devices. Furthermore, the device can be configured with program instructions for performing corresponding communication functions. This embodiment only uses a network device as an example to illustrate the device for implementing the functions of a network device, and does not limit the solution of this embodiment.

[0090] Network devices and terminal devices can be deployed on land, including indoors or outdoors, handheld or vehicle-mounted; they can also be deployed on water; and they can also be deployed in the air on airplanes, balloons, and satellites. This application does not limit the scenario in which the network devices and terminal devices are located.

[0091] Referring to Figure 1, as an example, Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a wireless communication system applicable to an embodiment of this application. As shown in Figure 1, the wireless communication system includes a wireless access network 100. The wireless access network 100 may be a next-generation (e.g., future or higher version) wireless access network or a traditional (e.g., 5G, 4G, 3G, or 2G) wireless access network. One or more terminal devices (120a-120j, collectively referred to as 120) may be interconnected or connected to one or more network devices (110a, 110b, collectively referred to as 110) in the wireless access network 100. Network elements in the wireless communication system are connected through interfaces (e.g., NG, Xn) or air interfaces.

[0092] When network devices and terminal devices communicate, the network device can manage one or more cells, and a cell can include at least one terminal device. A cell can be understood as an area within the wireless signal coverage range of the network device.

[0093] Figure 1 is just a schematic diagram. The wireless communication system may also include other devices, such as core network devices, wireless relay devices and / or wireless backhaul devices, which are not shown in Figure 1.

[0094] Referring to Figure 2, as an example, Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of another wireless communication system applicable to embodiments of this application. This wireless communication system may be referred to as an ORAN system, for example. The wireless communication system may include a core network, access network equipment, and a UE. As an example, the ORAN system may also include other components besides those shown in Figure 2; specific details are not limited in this application.

[0095] Access network equipment can communicate with the core network (CN) via a backhaul link. Access network equipment can also communicate with the UE via an air interface. Specifically, the BBU in the access network equipment communicates with the core network via a backhaul link. The RU in the access network equipment communicates with at least one UE via an air interface. The BBU communicates with at least one RU via a fronthaul link; the BBU and RU may or may not be co-located. A BBU includes at least one CU and at least one DU, and the CU and DU can communicate via at least one midhaul link.

[0096] Referring to Figure 3, as an example, Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of an access network device applicable to an embodiment of this application.

[0097] Optionally, the access network equipment includes a CU. The CU is a logical node that carries the radio resource control (RRC), service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer, packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, and other control functions of the access network equipment. The CU can connect to network nodes such as the core network through interfaces, such as the E2 interface. The CU may have some core network functions. The CU (e.g., the PDCP layer and / or higher layers of the CU) connects to the DU (e.g., the radio link control (RLC) layer and lower layers of the DU) through interfaces, such as the F1 interface. Optionally, the F1 interface can provide control plane (C-Plane) and user plane (U-Plane) functions (e.g., interface management, system information management, UE context management, RRC message transmission, etc.). F1AP is the application protocol of the F1 interface, defining the signaling procedures of F1 in some examples. The F1 interface supports control plane F1-C and user plane F1-U.

[0098] As an example, a CU includes CU-CP and CU-UP. CU-CP is a logical node carrying the control plane (PDCP-C) layer, which carries the RRC layer and the Packet Data Convergence Protocol layer, and is used to implement the CU's control plane functions. CU-CP can interact with network elements in the core network used to implement control plane functions. These network elements in the core network can be access and mobility function (AMF) network elements, such as the access and mobility management function (AMF) in a 5G system. The AMF network element is responsible for mobility management in the mobile network, such as terminal device location updates, terminal device registration with the network, and terminal device handover. CU-UP is a logical node carrying the user plane (PDCP-U) layer, which carries the SDAP layer and the Packet Data Convergence Protocol layer, and is used to implement the CU's user plane functions. CU-UP can interact with network elements in the core network used to implement user plane functions. These network elements in the core network, such as the user plane function (UPF) in a 5G system, are responsible for data forwarding and receiving in terminal devices. The above CU and DU configurations are merely examples. In practical applications, the functions of the CU and DU can be configured as needed. For instance, the CU or DU can be configured to have more protocol layer functions, or to have only some protocol layer processing functions. For example, some RLC layer functions and protocol layer functions above the RLC layer can be placed in the CU, while the remaining RLC layer functions and protocol layer functions below the RLC layer can be placed in the DU. Furthermore, the functions of the CU or DU can be divided according to service type or other system requirements. For example, based on latency, functions that require low latency can be placed in the DU, while functions that do not require low latency can be placed in the CU.

[0099] Optionally, the access network equipment includes a DU. As shown in Figure 3, the DU is a logical node carrying the RLC layer, medium access control (MAC) layer, higher physical layer (Higher PHY) layer, and other functions. In some examples, the DU can control at least one RU. The DU connects to the RU through interfaces, which can be fronthaul interfaces. In some examples, the Higher PHY layer includes the PHY layer processing, such as forward error correction (FEC) encoding and decoding, scrambling, modulation, and demodulation.

[0100] Optionally, the access network equipment includes a Runner (RU). As shown in Figure 3, the RU is a logical node that carries lower physical layer (Lower PHY) and radio frequency (RF) processing. In some examples, the RU may be a 3GPP transmission reception point (TRP), a remote radio head (RRH), or other similar entities. In some examples, the Lower-PHY includes PHY processing functions such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT), digital beamforming, and filtering. The RU communicates with one or more UEs via a radio link (such as an RF chain).

[0101] The DU and RU can be co-located or not. The DU and RU exchange control plane and user plane information via a fronthaul link through the lower-layer split CUS-plane (LLS-CUS-Plane) (or O-RAN CUS-Plane) interface. Here, CUS-Plane represents the control plane (C-Plane), user plane (U-Plane), and synchronization plane (S-Plane) (CUS-Plane). LLS-CUS may include a lower-layer split control (LLS-C) interface providing the control plane and a lower-layer split user (LLS-U) interface providing the user plane. Additionally, LLS-CUS may include a lower-layer split synchronization (LLS-S) interface providing the synchronization plane. In some examples, the control plane (or control plane) refers to the real-time control between the DU and RU. The DU and RU exchange management plane information via the lower-layer split management (LLS-M) interface of the fronthaul link. The management plane (M-Plane) refers to the non-real-time management operations between the DU and RU.

[0102] DU and RU can cooperate to implement the functions of the PHY layer. A DU can be connected to one or more RUs. The functions of DU and RU can be configured in various ways depending on the design. For example, a DU can be configured to implement baseband functions, and an RU can be configured to implement mid-RF functions. Another example is that a DU can be configured to implement higher-level functions in the PHY layer, and an RU can be configured to implement lower-level functions in the PHY layer, or to implement both lower-level and RF functions. Higher-level functions in the physical layer can include a portion of the physical layer's functions that are closer to the MAC layer, while lower-level functions in the physical layer can include another portion of the physical layer's functions that are closer to the mid-RF side.

[0103] Figures 1 to 3 above are illustrative examples, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto.

[0104] To facilitate a better understanding of the technical solution of this application, some related technologies involved in the technical solution of this application are introduced.

[0105] 1. Multi-input multi-output (MIMO) technology: Utilizing spatial resources, signals can obtain array gain, multiplexing and diversity gain, and interference cancellation gain in space without increasing system bandwidth, thereby multiplying the capacity and spectral efficiency of the communication system.

[0106] 2. Reference signal (RS): Also known as pilot, reference sequence, reference signal, etc. For consistency, it will be described as reference signal below. A reference signal is a physical signal that transmits a sequence to achieve a specific function. Specifically, a reference signal is a physical signal generated by mapping a specific sequence onto corresponding resources according to a preset resource mapping method.

[0107] In a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, each port has an independent data channel. Based on a known reference signal, the receiver performs channel estimation for each port and reconstructs the transmitted data accordingly. Channel estimation refers to the process of reconstructing the received signal to compensate for channel fading and noise, using the known reference signals from both the transmitter and receiver to determine the time and frequency domain variations of the channel.

[0108] In this application, the reference signal, as an example, can be any of the following: channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), sounding reference signal (SRS), demodulation reference signal (DMRS), phase track reference signal (PT-RS), cell reference signal (CRS), etc. Among them, DMRS can be used for demodulation of the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). CSI-RS can be used for channel information measurement and to report channel state information (CSI), which includes at least one of the following: precoding matrix indicator (PMI), rank indication (RI), and channel quality indicator (CQI).

[0109] It should be understood that the reference signals listed above are merely examples and should not be construed as limiting this application. This application does not preclude the possibility of defining other reference signals in future agreements to achieve the same or similar functions.

[0110] 3. Channel Information: This refers to information that reflects channel characteristics and channel quality. As an example, channel information includes at least one of the following: CSI, time-varying channel information, or channel frequency offset information, etc. The following explanation primarily uses CSI as an example of channel information; however, it can be understood that any information reflecting channel characteristics and channel quality is applicable to the embodiments of this application.

[0111] 4. Port: Also known as an antenna port, it can include a transmit port and a receive port. One port can be configured for each virtual antenna, and each virtual antenna can be a weighted combination of multiple physical antennas. The transmit port can be understood as the virtual antenna recognized by the receiver. The receive port can be understood as the receiving antenna of the receiver. For example, in downlink transmission, the receive port can refer to the receiving antenna of the terminal device; similarly, the receive port can also be understood as a virtual antenna.

[0112] A port is a logical concept, typically associated with a reference signal. Therefore, a port can be understood as a transmit / receive interface on the channel through which the reference signal passes. For low frequencies, a port may correspond to one or more antenna elements that jointly transmit the reference signal; the receiver can treat them as a whole without distinguishing between individual elements. For high-frequency systems, a port may correspond to a beam; similarly, the receiver can treat this beam as an interface without needing to differentiate between individual elements.

[0113] A port can be characterized by an antenna port or simply "port," or it can be characterized by resources (such as CSI-RS resources, SRS resources, DMRS resources, PT-RS resources, CRS resources, TRS resources, synchronization signal block (SSB) resources, etc.) or resource groups. In other words, the number of ports mentioned in this application can be replaced by the numbers mentioned above; for example, the number of ports can be replaced by the number of resources, the number of pilot resources, the number of reference signal resources, etc.

[0114] 5. Stream Count: Refers to the number of data streams occurring simultaneously in network communication. A data stream is a one-way or two-way data transmission from source to destination. The maximum number of streams that each terminal device can support can be represented by the rank of the channel matrix from that terminal device to the network device.

[0115] 6. Multipath Component (MPC): Also known as multipath element, it represents the relevant parameters of each path a signal travels through a channel, such as the multipath component parameters of the transmitting antenna and / or the multipath component parameters of the receiving antenna. Specifically, when a signal is transmitted through a channel, it can travel from the transmitting end to the receiving end via multiple paths, and the MPC can represent the relevant information of these multiple paths. MPC can also be called multipath parameters or multipath information. In the embodiments of this application, for ease of description, MPC or MPC information will be used uniformly.

[0116] As an example, MPC information includes at least one of the following: angle, delay, power, polarization, Doppler, phase (such as initial phase, or initial phase), etc.

[0117] The angle may include at least one of the following: horizontal angle of arrival (AOA), horizontal angle of departure (AOD), vertical angle of arrival (ZOA), and vertical angle of departure (ZOD). AOA and ZOA refer to the horizontal and vertical angles of arrival of the signal reaching the receiving antenna via the wireless channel, respectively, while AOD and ZOD refer to the horizontal and vertical angles of departure of the signal transmitted via the transmitting antenna, respectively.

[0118] Polarization, or polarization information, can include: polarization mode and / or the number of polarization directions. For example, the polarization mode can be horizontal or vertical. Another example is single polarization, dual polarization, or four polarizations. Yet another example is cross-polarization, X-polarization (Xpol), or quadrifilar helix antenna (QHA). Furthermore, when the polarization mode is cross-polarization, the cross-polarization ratio (XPR) can also be included.

[0119] 7. Signal strength: This mainly refers to the power of the wireless signal detected by the receiver, which reflects the strength of the signal received by the receiver.

[0120] As an example, signal strength can be characterized by at least one of the following parameters: reference signal receiving power (RSRP), reference signal received quality (RSRQ), and received signal strength indicator (RSSI). It should be noted that the above parameters are merely examples, and the specific parameters for measuring signal strength are not limited in the embodiments of this application.

[0121] As described in the background section, CSI feedback based on reference signals incurs excessive overhead. Specifically, on the one hand, with the large-scale deployment of interactive services such as digital twins (DT), virtual reality, extended reality (XR), and drones, some services, such as enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), will exhibit characteristics of "burst-like high traffic volume + short latency." Furthermore, taking eMBB as an example, the spatial distribution of eMBB services may be uneven; in other words, during certain time periods, most traffic is concentrated in local areas. On the other hand, MIMO enables multi-stream, high-speed data transmission, which primarily relies on accurate channel state information for precoding. Currently, the process of acquiring channel state information is as follows: the transmitting end (e.g., network equipment) sends a reference signal; the receiving end (e.g., terminal equipment) receives the reference signal, performs measurements based on it, and then reports the measurement results in available time slots, i.e., performs channel state information feedback. The channel state information feedback is implemented based on the discrete fourier transform (DFT) codebook. That is, the PMI (Package Information Management) feedback of this channel state information includes the DFT codebook index and the quantization coefficients corresponding to the base of the codebook index. In general, for certain services, such as those with sudden large traffic spikes, short latency, or uneven spatial distribution, the process of acquiring the aforementioned channel state information may introduce additional latency, and the signaling overhead of channel state information feedback is large, which is detrimental to the transmission or execution of such services.

[0122] Channel information (or data transmission parameters) can be obtained based on MPC information, such as calculating precoding weights. While obtaining channel information based on MPC information can save the overhead of reference signals, the accuracy of the channel information obtained by network devices may be reduced. In precoding scheme design, this can lead to incomplete interference cancellation between devices, high levels of interference between devices, and ultimately, reduced system spectral efficiency.

[0123] In view of this, this application proposes a scheme in which a first communication device (such as a terminal device) sends precoding auxiliary parameters (i.e., first parameters) determined according to MPC information, so that the second communication device (such as a network device) can more accurately cancel interference by determining the downlink precoding scheme according to the precoding auxiliary parameters; or, the first communication device determines the precoding auxiliary parameters according to MPC information, and further determines the uplink precoding scheme according to the precoding auxiliary parameters, so that the uplink precoding scheme can more accurately cancel interference, thereby improving communication performance.

[0124] The methods provided by the embodiments of this application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments provided by this application can be applied to the scenarios shown in the above figures and are not limited thereto. Furthermore, the terms used below are explained in the preceding text and will not be repeated hereafter. Additionally, for ease of description, terminal devices and network devices are used as examples for illustrative purposes. The terminal device can be replaced by a component of the terminal device (e.g., a chip, chip system, circuit, or communication module); the network device can be replaced by a component of the network device (e.g., a chip, chip system, circuit, or communication module), or the network device can also be replaced by a terminal device or a component of the terminal device (e.g., a chip, chip system, circuit, or communication module). Furthermore, the steps described below as being performed by a single execution entity can also be divided into steps performed by multiple execution entities, which can be logically and / or physically separated.

[0125] Referring to Figure 4, as an example, Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of a communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method 400 shown in Figure 4 may include the following steps.

[0126] Method 400 includes steps S410 and S420; optionally, method 400 includes steps S421 and S430. These steps are described in detail below.

[0127] S410, the terminal device acquires multipath component (MPC) information.

[0128] It should be understood that multipath component information can be referred to as multipath component, multipath information, etc., and this application does not limit the name.

[0129] For information on MPC, please refer to the introduction above. This section mainly introduces the methods for obtaining MPC information. For example, there are two methods: the first is AI-based MPC information acquisition, and the second is non-AI-based MPC information acquisition.

[0130] The first method is AI-based MPC information acquisition. Terminal devices can acquire MPC information based on AI models. In one implementation, the network device can send information indicating the AI model or its parameters, and the terminal device acquires MPC information based on that AI model according to the network device's instructions.

[0131] The second method is non-AI-based MPC information acquisition. Terminal devices can acquire MPC information based on a perception model. In one implementation, the network device can send a perception signal, which the terminal device then receives and uses to acquire the MPC information through the perception model.

[0132] The two methods for obtaining MPC information described above are merely examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the application. For instance, a terminal device can obtain MPC through a radio frequency map (RF map); another example is that a terminal device can obtain MPC by measuring a reference signal. These methods are not intended to limit the scope of the application.

[0133] S420, the terminal device sends a first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first parameter, and the network device receives the first indication information accordingly.

[0134] The first parameter is used to determine (or modify, or adjust) the downlink precoding matrix (or downlink precoding scheme). Specifically, the first parameter indicates (or reflects, or characterizes) inter-stream interference, such as interference between different streams of a terminal device, or interference between different terminal devices. Therefore, the downlink precoding matrix determined based on this first parameter takes into account inter-stream interference. Thus, using the downlink precoding matrix determined based on the first parameter for precoding processing can improve precoding performance and reduce inter-stream interference.

[0135] It should be understood that the first parameter can also be called a precoding auxiliary parameter or an auxiliary parameter, which is not limited in this application.

[0136] In the embodiments of this application, the downlink precoding matrix and the uplink precoding matrix (or uplink precoding scheme) are mentioned many times, and will be explained uniformly here.

[0137] The downlink precoding matrix represents the precoding matrix used for downlink signals; that is, the downlink precoding matrix can be used by network devices to perform precoding processing when sending signals to terminal devices. Specifically, when a network device sends a downlink signal to a terminal device, this downlink signal is precoded based on a precoding matrix, which can be called the downlink precoding matrix. It is understood that the downlink precoding matrix can also be called a precoding matrix, and this name does not limit the scope of protection of the embodiments in this application.

[0138] The uplink precoding matrix refers to the precoding matrix used for uplink signals. In other words, the uplink precoding matrix can be used for precoding processing when a terminal device sends signals to a network device. Specifically, when a terminal device sends an uplink signal to a network device, this uplink signal is precoded based on the precoding matrix, which can be called the uplink precoding matrix. It is understood that the uplink precoding matrix can also be called a precoding matrix, and this name does not limit the scope of protection of the embodiments in this application.

[0139] Optionally, the first parameter includes noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters.

[0140] Among them, noise-related parameters refer to parameters associated with noise. Noise-related parameters can be used to indicate (or characterize, or reflect) the measurement or estimation errors caused by noise; therefore, they can be used to adjust the intensity or impact of noise. As examples, noise-related parameters include at least one of the following: noise scaling factor, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), noise power, noise standard deviation, noise figure (NF), noise gain, etc. In the examples below, for ease of description, the noise scaling factor will be used as the primary example.

[0141] Interference-related parameters refer to parameters associated with interference. These parameters indicate (or characterize, or reflect) measurement or estimation errors caused by factors such as interference or noise. Therefore, they can be used to adjust the intensity or impact of interference or noise. As an example, interference-related parameters include at least one of the following: interference-related bias (hereinafter referred to as interference bias for simplicity), interference power, and SINR. In the examples below, for ease of description, interference bias will be used as the primary example.

[0142] S421, the terminal device determines the first parameter. There are several ways to determine the first parameter. One implementation is to determine the first parameter based on MPC information. Another implementation is to determine the first parameter based on MPC information and other relevant information.

[0143] Before introducing the various methods, let's clarify some parameters. In the examples below, P... i Let L represent the power of each MPC sub-path, i represent the index of the MPC sub-path, β and γ represent the first parameter, β represents noise-related parameters (such as noise scaling factor), and γ represents interference-related parameters (such as interference bias). j This represents the number of streams suggested by the terminal device (for clarity and simplicity, it will be referred to as the suggested stream number hereafter), where j represents the terminal index, and L... total Represents the number of scheduled flows, f1(), f2(), f3(), ..., f 39 () etc. represent functions. The function relationships mentioned in the various implementations below can be predefined or configured, and are not limited thereto.

[0144] In the first implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information. For example, the terminal device can determine the first parameter based on the sub-diameter power of the MPC.

[0145] Method 1: The terminal device determines the first parameter based on the maximum sub-diameter power of MPC.

[0146] For example, β = f1(P) i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information and the functional relationship. For example, the value of the first parameter is proportional to the maximum sub-diameter power of the MPC. That is, the first parameter satisfies: β = k1max(P i ), where k1 is a constant called the proportionality constant. Alternatively, it can be expressed as: β∝max(P i ), where “∝” means “direct proportion”.

[0147] Another example, γ = f2(P) i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information and the functional relationship. For example, the value of the first parameter is proportional to the maximum sub-diameter power of the MPC. That is, the first parameter satisfies: γ = k2max(P i ), where k2 is a constant called the proportionality constant. Alternatively, it can be expressed as: γ∝max(P i ), where “∝” means “direct proportion”.

[0148] Method 2: The terminal device determines the first parameter based on the sum of the sub-path power of MPC.

[0149] For example, β = f3(P) i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information and the functional relationship. For example, specifically, the value of the first parameter is proportional to the sum of the sub-path powers of the MPC. That is, the first parameter satisfies: β = ∑ i P i Alternatively, it can be expressed as: β∝∑ i P i , where “∝” means “direct proportion”.

[0150] Another example, γ = f4(P) i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information and the functional relationship. For example, specifically, the value of the first parameter is proportional to the sum of the sub-path powers of the MPC. That is, the first parameter satisfies: γ = ∑ i P i Alternatively, it can be expressed as: γ∝∑ i P i , where “∝” means “direct proportion”.

[0151] Among them, P iThis represents the power of each MPC sub-path, where i represents the index of the MPC sub-path, and β and γ represent the first parameter.

[0152] In the second implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and other relevant information. Specifically, the first parameter is determined based on MPC information and at least one of the following: second indication information, the terminal's suggested flow number, the terminal's prior strength, or the terminal's prior interference information.

[0153] The second implementation method includes, but is not limited to, implementation methods #1 to #6, which will be described in detail below. Before that, let's introduce the content of the second instruction information.

[0154] Optionally, method 400 further includes the terminal device receiving second indication information, and correspondingly, the network device sending the second indication information.

[0155] It should be understood that a network device can send second instruction information to one or more terminal devices. In this embodiment of the application, for ease of description and understanding, a single terminal device is used as an example for illustration.

[0156] The second indication information is associated with at least two terminal devices being scheduled, such as two terminal devices being associated with the second indication information, or multiple terminal devices being associated with the second indication information. For example, the second indication information is associated with (or indicates) the scheduling information of at least one terminal device; or, for another example, the second indication information is associated with (or indicates) the number of such at least one terminal device. The second indication information may also be called scheduling information or total scheduling information, and its name does not limit the scope of protection of the embodiments of this application.

[0157] As an example, the second indication information indicates at least one of the following: the number of scheduled flows, the number of scheduled terminals, the number of ports for reference signals, etc. These information are described below.

[0158] 1. Number of scheduled streams: This indicates the number of data streams that can be transmitted simultaneously. This parameter reflects the signal propagation capability and characteristics of the channel, and can also reflect the rank of the channel matrix and the spatial degrees of freedom of the channel.

[0159] As an example, the number of scheduled streams represents the number of data streams that a single terminal device can transmit simultaneously. For instance, it refers to the number of data streams that a network device can transmit simultaneously when transmitting data to a terminal device.

[0160] For example, when the second indication information is associated with a terminal device being scheduled, the second indication information can indicate the number of data streams transmitted between the network device and that terminal device. That is, the embodiments of this application are applicable to scenarios where a network device schedules a terminal device.

[0161] For another example, when the second indication information is associated with multiple terminal devices, it can indicate the number of data streams that the network device can transmit simultaneously with the multiple terminal devices. For a given terminal device, after receiving the second indication information, it can determine the number of data streams that the network device can transmit simultaneously when transmitting data with multiple terminal devices, based on the number of data streams indicated by the second indication information and the number of scheduled terminals. For instance, if the number of data streams transmitted simultaneously by the network device and each terminal device is the same, say O1, then when the terminal device determines that the network device can transmit data simultaneously with multiple terminal devices (say O2), the number of data streams that can be transmitted simultaneously is (O1 × O2), where "×" represents multiplication, O2 is an integer greater than 1, and O1 is an integer greater than or equal to 1.

[0162] Another example is the number of scheduled streams, which represents the number of data streams that can be transmitted simultaneously for multiple terminal devices. For example, it refers to the number of data streams that a network device can transmit simultaneously when transmitting data with multiple terminal devices. Specifically, when the second indication information is associated with multiple terminal devices, the second indication information can indicate the number of data streams that the network device can transmit simultaneously with those multiple terminal devices.

[0163] 2. The number of scheduled terminals indicates the number of terminal devices scheduled by the network device. Specifically, when the second indication information is associated with at least one scheduled terminal device, the second indication information may indicate the number of that at least one terminal device. The number of scheduled terminals may reflect the intensity of interference that may occur during signal transmission.

[0164] For example, the number of scheduled terminals can be the number of terminal devices scheduled by the network device within a duration #A. Assume the number of scheduled terminals is denoted as T, and within a duration #A, the network device transmits data with T terminal devices. The duration #A can be 0 or greater than 0, without limitation. The duration #A can be determined by the network device, indicated, or predefined, without limitation.

[0165] Another example is the number of terminals scheduled, which can be the number of terminal devices scheduled by the network device within the area. Assuming the number of scheduled terminals is denoted as T, the network device within the area can simultaneously transmit data with T terminal devices.

[0166] As an example, the area could be the coverage area of at least one cell. Specifically, the second indication information is associated with at least one terminal device within at least one cell.

[0167] 3. The number of ports of the reference signal can refer to the number of ports occupied by the reference signal or the number of port groups occupied by the reference signal, and is not limited. As an example, the reference signal can be a reference signal used by the terminal device to determine the first parameter, such as the terminal device determining the first parameter based on the signal strength of the reference signal and / or the channel information measured based on the reference signal. Assume that the number of ports of the reference signal indicated by the second indication information is X1, where X1 is an integer greater than or equal to 1. For example, the terminal device receives reference signal #C, and the terminal device can determine the number of ports of reference signal #C as X1 based on the second indication information; the terminal device determines the first parameter based on the signal strength of reference signal #C and / or the channel information measured based on reference signal #C.

[0168] As an example, a network device may determine the second indication information in the following manner.

[0169] In the first possible implementation, the network device determines the second instruction information based on the instruction from the terminal device.

[0170] In this implementation, optionally, method 400 further includes the terminal device sending MPC information #1 to the network device, and the network device determining second indication information based on the MPC information #1. For example, when the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information is the number of data flows transmitted between the network device and a terminal device, the number of scheduled flows can be determined based on the MPC information #1 indicated by the terminal device. As another example, when the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information is the number of data flows transmitted simultaneously between the network device and multiple terminal devices, the number of scheduled flows can be determined based on the MPC information indicated by each of the multiple terminal devices.

[0171] The second possible implementation is that the network device determines the second instruction information itself.

[0172] In one example, a terminal device transmits a reference signal, the channel measurement result of which is associated with second indication information. The reference signal is an uplink reference signal, for example, an SRS. The association of the channel measurement result of the reference signal with the second indication information means that the channel measurement result of the reference signal can be used to determine the second indication information; in other words, the second indication information can be determined based on the channel measurement result of the reference signal. Specifically, the terminal device sends a reference signal to a network device; the network device receives the reference signal and performs channel measurements based on it to obtain the uplink channel measurement result; the network device can determine the downlink channel measurement result based on the uplink channel measurement result, according to the reciprocity of the uplink and downlink channels; the network device can determine the second indication information based on the downlink channel measurement result.

[0173] The above-described method for determining the second indication information by the network device is an illustrative example, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. For example, the network device may also determine the second indication information based on historical communication data and / or current communication data. As another example, the second indication information may be predefined, such as a predefined number of scheduled flows.

[0174] In implementation method #1, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and second indication information.

[0175] Taking the second indication information indicating the number of scheduling flows as an example, some examples are introduced.

[0176] For example, β = f5(f6(P) i ), L total ), such as β=f5(max(P i )*L total At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, and the functional relationship. As an example, β = f5(max(P) i )*L total When ), the value of β can be proportional to max(P). i )*L total .

[0177] Another example, γ = f7(f8(P) i ), L total For example, γ = f7(∑ i P i *L total At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information, the number of scheduling flows indicated by the second indication information, and the functional relationship.

[0178] In implementation method #2, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on the MPC information and the terminal's suggested number of streams.

[0179] The "suggested number of streams" refers to the number of streams recommended (or suggested, or determined) by the terminal device. This number can be determined by the terminal device itself. For example, the terminal device can determine the suggested number of streams based on historical communication data (such as historical channel information); alternatively, it can determine the suggested number of streams based on current communication data, such as the size of the data to be transmitted; still others, the suggested number of streams can be predefined. There are no restrictions on how the terminal device determines the suggested number of streams.

[0180] For example, β = f9(f 10 (P i ), L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the terminal's suggested number of streams, and the functional relationship.

[0181] Another example, γ = f 11 (f 12 (P i ), L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information, the terminal's suggested number of streams, and the functional relationship.

[0182] In implementation method #3, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and prior data.

[0183] The prior data, also known as historical communication data or historical communication information, can be determined by the terminal device itself or indicated by the network device, without limitation. For example, prior data can be prior flow strength information, such as CQI or reference signal received power (RSRP); or it can be prior interference information, such as prior interference bias, without limitation. Taking prior flow strength information as an example, it can be signal strength information based on the signals transmitted between the terminal device and the network device within a time period, which is a time period preceding the current moment. For example, this time period can be Δt time units (such as Δt transmission time intervals (TTIs)) preceding the current moment, where Δt is an integer greater than 0. The time period can be predefined, configured, indicated, or determined by the terminal device itself, without limitation.

[0184] Taking prior data as prior flow intensity information as an example, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and prior flow intensity information.

[0185] For example, β = f 13 (f 14 (P i Let β = Q, where Q represents the prior flow intensity information. At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the prior flow intensity information, and this functional relationship.

[0186] Another example, γ = f 15 (f 16 (P i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on MPC information, prior flow intensity information, and the functional relationship.

[0187] Taking prior data as prior interference information as an example, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and prior interference information.

[0188] For example, β = f17 f 18 (P i Let J represent prior interference information. Then, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the prior interference information, and this functional relationship.

[0189] Another example, γ = f 19 (f 20 (P i At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on MPC information, prior interference information, and the functional relationship.

[0190] In implementation method #4, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information, second indication information, and suggested flow number.

[0191] Taking the second indication information indicating the number of scheduling flows as an example, some examples are introduced.

[0192] For example, β = f 21 (f 22 (P i ), L total L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the number of suggested flows, and the functional relationship.

[0193] Another example, γ = f 23 (f 24 (P i ), L total L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the number of suggested flows, and the functional relationship.

[0194] In implementation method #5, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information, second indication information, and prior data.

[0195] Taking the second indication information indicating the number of scheduling flows as an example, some examples are introduced.

[0196] For example, β = f 25 (f 26 (P i ), L total At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the prior flow strength information, and the functional relationship.

[0197] Another example, γ = f 27 (f 28 (P i ), L totalAt this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the prior flow strength information, and the functional relationship.

[0198] Another example, β = f 29 (f 30 (P i ), L total At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduling flows indicated by the second indication information, the prior interference information, and the functional relationship.

[0199] In implementation method #6, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information, second indication information, suggested flow count, and prior data.

[0200] Taking the second indication information indicating the number of scheduling flows as an example, some examples are introduced.

[0201] For example, β = f 31 (f 32 (P i ), L total L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the number of suggested flows, the prior flow strength information, and the functional relationship.

[0202] Another example, γ = f 33 (f 34 (P i ), L total L j At this point, the terminal device can determine the value of γ based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the number of suggested flows, the prior flow strength information, and the functional relationship.

[0203] Another example, β = f 35 (f 36 (P i ), L total L j At this time, the terminal device can determine the value of β based on the MPC information, the number of scheduled flows indicated by the second indication information, the number of suggested flows, the prior interference information, and the functional relationship.

[0204] In the examples of the above implementation methods, the number of scheduled flows in the second indication information is mainly used as an example for illustration, but the embodiments of this application are not limited to this. For example, the number of scheduled flows can be replaced by the number of scheduled devices and / or the number of ports of the reference signal.

[0205] Furthermore, the above-described implementation methods are illustrative examples, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. Any method that enables the terminal device to determine the first parameter based on at least one of: MPC information, second indication information, suggested flow count, and prior data is applicable to the embodiments of this application. For example, the terminal device can determine the first parameter based on the second indication information and the suggested flow count, such as γ = f 37 (L total L j In another example, the terminal device can determine the first parameter, such as γ = f, based on MPC information, suggested flow count, and prior data. 38 (f 39 (P i ), L j Q).

[0206] Furthermore, the embodiments of this application address the function f mentioned in the above-mentioned implementation methods. x The specific form of () is not limited.

[0207] Taking β as an example, as an illustration, the value of β can be proportional to at least one of the following: P i ,max(P i ), ∑ i P i L total L j Q, J, etc. Therefore, for example, β can satisfy any of the following: β = max(P) i ), β=Q*max(P i ), β = J*max(P i ), The foregoing examples are merely illustrative, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto.

[0208] Taking γ as an example, as an illustration, the value of γ can be proportional to at least one of the following: P i ,max(P i ), ∑ i P i L total L j , Q, J, etc. Therefore, for example, γ can satisfy any of the following: γ = max(P) i ), γ = Q*max(P i )*μ 2 γ=L total *max(P i )*μ 2 , Where μ can be a positive number. The foregoing are merely illustrative examples, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto.

[0209] The first indication information indicates a first parameter. As an example, assume the first parameter includes noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. One possible scenario is that the first indication information directly indicates the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters, which can be carried in a single signaling message or in different signaling messages. Another possible scenario is that the first indication information directly indicates the noise-related parameters, and the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters are correlated. In this case, the interference-related parameters can be determined based on the noise-related parameters directly indicated by the first indication information and the correlation; that is, the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters can be determined through the first indication information. Yet another possible scenario is that the first indication information directly indicates the interference-related parameters, and the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters are correlated. In this case, the noise-related parameters can be determined based on the interference-related parameters directly indicated by the first indication information and the correlation; that is, the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters can be determined through the first indication information.

[0210] The following describes two possible implementation methods when the first instruction information indicates the first parameter.

[0211] One possible implementation is that the first indication information indicates the value corresponding to the first parameter. Based on this, the first parameter can be transmitted in numerical form. Specifically, after determining the first parameter, the terminal device can indicate the value of the first parameter to the network device, such as the value of a noise-related parameter and / or the value of an interference bias.

[0212] Another possible implementation is that the first indication information indicates the vector corresponding to the first parameter. Based on this, the first parameter can be transmitted in vector form. Specifically, after determining the first parameter, the terminal device can indicate the first parameter to the network device, and the first parameter is in vector form. For example, the first parameter is a vector composed of the values of noise-related parameters and interference bias; another example is a vector composed of noise-related parameters corresponding to different establishment stream numbers; yet another example is a vector composed of interference biases corresponding to different establishment stream numbers.

[0213] Optionally, method 400 further includes S430, whereby the network device determines a downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. Further optionally, method 400 further includes: the network device performing precoding processing on the downlink data based on the downlink precoding matrix.

[0214] Taking the SLNR method as an example, the downlink precoding matrix determined by the network device based on the first parameter satisfies: W j =ρT j [IL ;0]. Where ρ is the power normalization factor; J L [I] denotes an L-order identity matrix; 0 denotes a matrix of all zeros; [I] L [;0] represents the matrix obtained by concatenating an L-order identity matrix and a matrix of all zeros along the row direction, i.e., horizontally. The number of rows in the matrix of all zeros is the same as the number of rows in the L-order identity matrix. As an example, the number of rows in the matrix of all zeros can be T. j Subtracting L from the number of columns in T, the number of columns in the all-zero matrix equals L. j Related to the first parameter.

[0215] The first possible implementation method The generalized eigenvalues. Here, β represents the precoding auxiliary parameter; in this implementation, β can be represented as a noise-related parameter (such as a noise scaling factor).

[0216] The second possible implementation The generalized eigenvalues. Here, γ represents the precoding auxiliary parameter; in this implementation, γ can be represented as an interference-related parameter (such as the interference-related bias).

[0217] Among them, M j Let P be the number of receiving antennas for terminal device j. j Let Hj be the transmit power when the network device sends a signal to the terminal device j, and Hj be the channel matrix of the terminal device j. Let j be the interference channel matrix of terminal device j, i.e. σ is the channel matrix composed of the channels of all terminal devices except terminal device j. 2 This represents the noise power. `j` represents the index of the terminal device `j`, which can be used to identify the terminal device. The superscript `H` represents the conjugate transpose of the matrix, such as... Let Hj be the conjugate transpose of matrix Hj.

[0218] Optionally, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on channel information and the first parameter. Optionally, the channel information can be determined by MPC information. In other words, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on MPC information and the first parameter.

[0219] As an example, method 400 may further include the terminal device sending MPC information #2, and correspondingly, the network device receiving MPC information #2. The MPC information #2 and the first parameter are used to indicate the downlink precoding matrix; that is, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter and the MPC information. For example, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on the channel information determined by the MPC information #2, and then the network device modifies or adjusts the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter to obtain the final downlink precoding matrix.

[0220] The number of MPC messages #2 can be one or more, without limitation.

[0221] It should be understood that MPC information #1 and MPC information #2 can be the same information or different information. For example, the number of multipaths contained in MPC information #1 and MPC information #2 can be different. That is, the terminal device can decide the level of detail of the MPC information sent to the network device according to its needs.

[0222] Optionally, method 400 further includes: the terminal device sending capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information.

[0223] As an example, the terminal device may send capability information during initial cell access or before transmitting data with the network device; there is no limitation on when the terminal device sends capability information.

[0224] The capability information may represent capability information related to the first parameter and / or the first indication information. Several implementation methods for capability information are described below.

[0225] The first possible implementation is to use capability information to indicate whether the first indication information is supported.

[0226] For example, a terminal device sends capability information to a network device, indicating that the terminal device supports first indication information; the network device receives the first indication information sent by the terminal device based on this capability information. As another example, the terminal device sends capability information to the network device, indicating that the terminal device does not support the first indication information; the network device determines, based on this capability information, not to determine the downlink precoding matrix according to the first indication information.

[0227] As an example, capability information can be implemented using at least one bit. For instance, capability information can be implemented using 1 bit. For example, if the 1 bit has a first value, it indicates that the terminal device supports the first indication information; if the 1 bit has a second value, it indicates that the terminal device does not support the first indication information. The first and second values are different; for example, the first value is "0" and the second value is "1"; or, the first value is "1" and the second value is "0".

[0228] The second possible implementation is to use capability information to indicate whether the first parameter is supported.

[0229] For example, a terminal device sends capability information to a network device, indicating that the terminal device supports a first parameter. Based on this capability information, the network device receives a first indication information sent by the terminal device, so that the network device can determine the downlink precoding matrix according to the first parameter. As another example, the terminal device sends capability information to the network device, indicating that the terminal device does not support the first parameter. Based on this capability information, the network device determines that it will not determine the downlink precoding matrix according to the first parameter.

[0230] As an example, capability information can be implemented using at least one bit. For instance, capability information can be implemented using 1 bit. For example, if this 1-bit value is the first value, it indicates that the terminal device supports the first parameter; if this 1-bit value is the second value, it indicates that the terminal device does not support the first parameter. Refer to the preceding description for the first and second values.

[0231] The third possible implementation involves capability information indicating whether noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters are supported.

[0232] Considering that the first parameter may include noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, the terminal device can indicate whether it supports noise-related parameters, interference-related parameters, or both noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters through capability information.

[0233] As an example, capability information can be implemented using at least one bit. For instance, capability information can be implemented using two bits. For example, if the two bits have a first value, it indicates that the terminal device supports noise-related parameters; if the two bits have a second value, it indicates that the terminal device supports interference-related parameters; if the two bits have a third value, it indicates that the terminal device supports both noise-related and interference-related parameters; and if the two bits have a fourth value, it indicates that the terminal device does not support either noise-related or interference-related parameters. The first, second, third, and fourth values can be different; for example, the first value might be "00", the second value "01", the third value "10", and the fourth value "11".

[0234] The fourth possible implementation is the reporting format of the first parameter supported by the capability information indicator.

[0235] As mentioned earlier, the first parameter can be reported in numerical or vector form. Therefore, the terminal device can indicate the supported reporting form of the first parameter through the indication information.

[0236] As an example, capability information can be implemented using at least one bit. For instance, capability information can be implemented using 1 bit. For example, if the 1-bit value is the first value, it indicates that the terminal device supports reporting the first parameter in numerical form; if the 1-bit value is the second value, it indicates that the terminal device supports reporting the first parameter in vector form. Refer to the preceding description for the first and second values. Furthermore, the terminal device can also report different parameters separately (such as noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters), which can be referred to the preceding descriptions and will not be repeated here.

[0237] The above is a simplified example, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. For example, the capability information may also indicate the implementation method supported by the terminal device for determining the first parameter (such as a certain implementation method among implementation method #1 to implementation method #6).

[0238] The various solutions of the embodiments of this application have been described above. It is understood that, unless otherwise specified or there is a logical conflict, the terminology and / or descriptions of the above solutions are consistent and can be referenced mutually. For ease of understanding, the specific process applicable to method 400 is described below. It is understood that the process described below is only an example, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. Content not described in detail below can be referred to the description in the preceding methods, and will not be repeated hereafter.

[0239] Referring to Figure 5, as an example, Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method shown in Figure 5 can be used for downlink data transmission processes that obtain MPC information based on a non-AI model. The method 500 shown in Figure 5 may include the following steps.

[0240] In S510, the terminal device receives the sensing signal, and correspondingly, the network device sends the sensing signal.

[0241] S520: The terminal device obtains MPC information based on the sensing signals and sensing model.

[0242] S530, the terminal device determines the first parameter. One possible implementation is that the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information. Another possible implementation is that the terminal device determines the first parameter based on one or more of the following: MPC information, prior data, and suggested flow count.

[0243] S540, the terminal device sends first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first parameter, and the network device receives the first indication information accordingly.

[0244] In the S550, the terminal device sends MPC information, and the network device receives the MPC information accordingly.

[0245] It should be understood that in this embodiment, the order of S540 and S550 is not limited. That is, the terminal device can send the first instruction information first and then send the MPC information, or the terminal device can send the MPC information first and then send the first instruction information, or the terminal device can send the MPC information and the first instruction information at the same time.

[0246] S560, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on the first instruction information and MPC information.

[0247] In S570, network devices transmit data based on a downlink precoding matrix, and correspondingly, terminal devices receive data.

[0248] Furthermore, the terminal device can calculate precoding weights and / or equivalent channels based on the received data.

[0249] Method 500 may further include the terminal device sending capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information.

[0250] It should be understood that the process shown in Method 500 is only one possible implementation and should not be construed as limiting this application. Implementations not specifically described in Method 500 can be found in Method 400. For example, the determination of the first parameter and the determination of the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter, etc., will not be elaborated upon here.

[0251] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine and indicate the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information. In this way, the network device can determine the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. For example, the network device can perform noise and interference compensation based on the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. Since the downlink precoding matrix takes the first parameter into account, the SINR value of each stream can be effectively improved when performing downlink data transmission based on this downlink precoding matrix, thereby improving communication performance.

[0252] Referring to Figure 6, as an example, Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method shown in Figure 6 can be used for downlink data transmission processes that obtain MPC information based on a non-AI model. The method 600 shown in Figure 6 may include the following steps.

[0253] S610: The terminal device receives the sensing signal, and correspondingly, the network device sends the sensing signal.

[0254] S620: The terminal device obtains MPC information based on the sensing signals and sensing model.

[0255] In S630, the terminal device sends MPC information, and the network device receives the MPC information accordingly. The network device can determine the channel information based on the MPC information.

[0256] S640, the network device determines the second indication information. Optionally, the network device can determine the second indication information based on the MPC information. The second indication information is associated with at least two scheduled terminals.

[0257] S650, the network device sends a second instruction message, and the terminal device receives the second instruction message accordingly.

[0258] S660, the terminal device determines the first parameter. The terminal device can determine the first parameter based on MPC information and second indication information, or it can determine the first parameter based on one or more of the following: MPC information, second indication information, suggested flow count, and prior data.

[0259] S670, the terminal device sends first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first parameter, and the network device receives the first indication information accordingly.

[0260] S680, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on the first instruction information and MPC information.

[0261] In S690, network devices transmit data based on a downlink precoding matrix, and correspondingly, terminal devices receive data.

[0262] Furthermore, the terminal device can calculate precoding weights and / or equivalent channels based on the received data.

[0263] Method 600 may further include the terminal device sending capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information.

[0264] It should be understood that the process shown in Method 600 is only one possible implementation and should not be construed as limiting this application. Implementations not specifically described in Method 600 can be found in Method 400. For example, the determination of the first parameter and the determination of the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter, etc., will not be elaborated upon here.

[0265] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine and indicate the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information and the second indication information.

[0266] Referring to Figure 7, as an example, Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method shown in Figure 7 can be used in the downlink data transmission process for obtaining MPC information based on an AI model. The method 700 shown in Figure 7 may include the following steps.

[0267] S710, the terminal device receives model indication information, and correspondingly, the network device sends model indication information. This model indication information is used to indicate the AI model for acquiring MPC information. In one implementation, the model indication information can indicate the weights of the AI model.

[0268] S720: The terminal device obtains MPC information based on this AI model.

[0269] S730, the terminal device determines the first parameter.

[0270] In one implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on the MPC information.

[0271] In another implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on the MPC information and the second indication information. In this implementation, method 700 includes S722, where the network device sends the second indication information, and correspondingly, the terminal device receives the second indication information. Further, the second indication information can be determined based on the MPC information; therefore, method 700 may also include S721, where the terminal device sends the MPC information, and correspondingly, the network device receives the MPC information.

[0272] S740, the terminal device sends first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first parameter, and the network device receives the first indication information accordingly.

[0273] In the S750 network device, the downlink precoding matrix is determined based on the first instruction information.

[0274] Specifically, the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on the channel information, and then performs interference compensation and / or noise compensation based on the first parameters indicated by the first indication information.

[0275] There are multiple ways to obtain channel information. One possible implementation is that the terminal device can determine the channel information based on the MPC information obtained in S720. In this possible implementation, method 700 also includes S751, where the terminal device sends MPC information and the network device receives MPC information accordingly.

[0276] It should be understood that S721 and S751 can be considered as one step; that is, if the MPC information sent by S721 and S751 is the same, the terminal device only needs to send it once. S721 and S751 can also be performed separately. For example, in S721, the terminal device sends MPC information #1, and the network device determines the second indication information based on this MPC information #1. In S751, the terminal device sends MPC information #2, and the network device determines the downlink precoding matrix based on this MPC information #2. MPC information #1 and MPC information #2 can be different. In this case, S721 and S751 can be performed separately.

[0277] In the S760, network devices transmit data based on a downlink precoding matrix, and correspondingly, terminal devices receive data.

[0278] Furthermore, the terminal device can calculate precoding weights and / or equivalent channels based on the received data.

[0279] Method 700 may further include the terminal device sending capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information.

[0280] It should be understood that the process shown in Method 700 is only one possible implementation and should not be construed as limiting this application. Implementations not specifically described in Method 700 can be found in Method 400. Examples include the determination of the first parameter and the determination of the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. These will not be elaborated upon here.

[0281] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine and indicate the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information and the second indication information.

[0282] The above, with reference to Figures 5 to 7, introduces the scheme for determining the downlink precoding matrix based on MPC information. The following, with reference to Figures 8 to 9, introduces the scheme for determining the uplink precoding matrix based on MPC information.

[0283] Referring to Figure 8, as an example, Figure 8 is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method shown in Figure 8 can be used in the uplink data transmission process. The method 800 shown in Figure 8 may include the following steps.

[0284] Method 800 includes S810 and S820, and optionally may also include S821 and S822.

[0285] S810, the terminal device obtains MPC information.

[0286] For details, please refer to the relevant description of S410 in method 400, which will not be repeated here.

[0287] S821, the terminal device determines the first parameter.

[0288] S821 is similar to S421. Furthermore, in S820, the first parameter can also be indicated by the network device or predefined.

[0289] S822, the terminal device determines the uplink precoding matrix.

[0290] In S820, the terminal device sends data, which is processed based on the uplink precoding matrix (referred to as uplink precoding matrix #A for distinction). Correspondingly, the network device receives the data.

[0291] Regarding the uplink precoding matrix, one possible implementation is that the uplink precoding matrix is determined based on the first parameter.

[0292] Specifically, the terminal device can determine the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter, and then perform precoding processing on the data to be transmitted based on the uplink precoding matrix. For details on how the terminal device determines the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter, please refer to the description of the network device determining the downlink precoding matrix based on the first parameter in method 400; it will not be repeated here.

[0293] Optionally, method 800 further includes: the terminal device transmitting capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information. Refer to the relevant description in method 400 for details, which will not be repeated here.

[0294] It should be understood that the process shown in Method 800 is only one possible implementation and should not be construed as limiting this application. Implementations not specifically described in Method 800 can be found in Method 400. For example, the determination of the first parameter and the determination of the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter, etc., will not be elaborated upon here.

[0295] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information. In this way, the terminal device can determine the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. For example, the network device can perform noise and interference compensation based on the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. Since the uplink precoding matrix takes the first parameter into account, uplink data transmission based on this uplink precoding matrix can effectively improve the SINR value of each stream, thereby improving communication performance.

[0296] Referring to Figure 9, as an example, Figure 9 is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided by an embodiment of this application. The method shown in Figure 9 can be used in the uplink data transmission process. The method 900 shown in Figure 9 may include the following steps.

[0297] S910, the terminal device obtains MPC information.

[0298] In one possible implementation, the terminal device obtains MPC information based on a perception model. In this implementation, method 900 further includes S911, where the network device sends a perception signal, and the terminal device receives the perception signal accordingly. The terminal device can obtain MPC information based on the perception signal and the perception model.

[0299] In another possible implementation, the terminal device obtains MPC information based on an AI model. In this implementation, method 900 includes S912, whereby the network device sends model indication information, and the terminal device receives the model indication information, which indicates the AI model for obtaining the MPC information. The terminal device can then obtain the MPC information based on this AI model. S912 is not shown in Figure 9.

[0300] In S920, the terminal device sends MPC information, and the network device receives the MPC information accordingly. The MPC information is used to indicate channel information.

[0301] S930, the network device sends a second indication message, and correspondingly, the terminal device receives the second indication message. The second indication message indicates at least two terminals to be scheduled.

[0302] S940, the terminal device determines the first parameter.

[0303] In one possible implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on the MPC information.

[0304] In another possible implementation, the terminal device determines the first parameter based on MPC information and the second indication information. Alternatively, the terminal device can determine the first parameter based on one or more of MPC, the second indication information, prior data, and the suggested flow number.

[0305] S950, the terminal device determines the uplink precoding matrix.

[0306] In S960, the terminal device sends data, and the network device receives the data accordingly. The data is determined based on the uplink precoding matrix.

[0307] Optionally, method 900 further includes: the terminal device transmitting capability information, and correspondingly, the network device receiving capability information. Refer to the relevant description in method 400 for details, which will not be repeated here.

[0308] It should be understood that the process shown in Method 900 is only one possible implementation and should not be construed as limiting this application. Implementations not specifically described in Method 900 can be found in Method 400. Examples include the determination of the first parameter and the determination of the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. These will not be elaborated upon here.

[0309] Based on the above technical solution, the terminal device can determine the first parameter, such as noise-related parameters and / or interference-related parameters, based on MPC information and second indication information. In this way, the terminal device can determine the uplink precoding matrix based on the first parameter. For example, the network device can perform noise and interference compensation based on the noise-related parameters and interference-related parameters. Since the uplink precoding matrix takes into account the first parameter, and the first parameter takes into account the scheduling of the network device, uplink data transmission based on this uplink precoding matrix can effectively improve the SINR value of each stream, thereby improving communication performance.

[0310] It is understood that the above embodiments are mainly illustrated using communication between terminal devices and network devices as an example, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. For example, the embodiments of this application can also be used in scenarios of communication between terminal devices.

[0311] Taking method 400 as an example, in one example, terminal device #1 obtains MPC information, and terminal device #2 can receive first indication information from terminal device #1. This first indication information indicates a first parameter, which is used to indicate a precoding matrix. This precoding matrix is used for data transmission between terminal device #1 and terminal device #2. In another example, terminal device #1 obtains MPC information, and terminal device #1 can receive second indication information from terminal device #2. This second indication information indicates at least two terminals in an associated scheduling. Terminal device #2 can receive the first indication information from terminal device #1, which indicates a first parameter. This first parameter can be determined based on the MPC information and the second indication information. This first parameter is used to indicate a precoding matrix, which is used for data transmission between terminal device #1 and terminal device #2. The specific implementation is similar to method 400, except that the precoding matrix determined based on the first parameter is used for data transmission between the terminal devices.

[0312] Taking method 800 as an example, in one instance, terminal device #1 acquires MPC information. Terminal device #1 can determine a first parameter based on the MPC information, and then determine a precoding matrix based on the first parameter. Terminal device #1 sends data (also called sideline data) to terminal device #2, which is processed based on the precoding matrix. In another instance, terminal device #1 acquires and sends MPC information, and correspondingly, terminal device #2 receives the MPC information. The MPC information can indicate second indication information. Terminal device #2 sends the second indication information, and correspondingly, terminal device #1 receives the second indication information. Terminal device #1 determines a precoding matrix based on the MPC information and the second indication information, and then sends data to terminal device #2, which is processed based on the precoding matrix. The specific implementation is similar to that of method 400 above, except that the precoding matrix used for precoding sideline data is used for data transmission between terminal devices.

[0313] It is understood that in the above method embodiments, the methods and operations implemented by the device can also be implemented by components of the device (such as chips or circuits), without limitation.

[0330] Another possible implementation is that the transceiver unit 1010 receives data, which is processed based on the uplink precoding matrix.
