Description
Motor components, electric drive systems and vehicles
[0001] This disclosure claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202510491614.2, filed on April 17, 2025, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0002] This disclosure relates to the field of vehicle technology, and more particularly to an electric motor assembly, an electric drive system, and a vehicle. Background Technology
[0003] With the continuous development of new energy vehicles, vehicle performance is constantly improving. The working efficiency of the motor is an important indicator affecting vehicle performance. The performance of the motor will decrease as the temperature rises. Therefore, the motor needs to be cooled and dissipated during operation to maintain good working efficiency.
[0004] When oil is used as a cooling medium, it has good insulation properties and can directly contact the internal components of the motor for heat exchange, resulting in higher heat dissipation efficiency. Summary of the Invention
[0005] This disclosure provides an electric motor assembly, an electric drive system, and a vehicle.
[0006] In a first aspect, a motor assembly is provided for use in a vehicle. The motor assembly includes a housing, a first motor, and a second motor. The housing has a partition portion adapted to divide a receiving space within the housing into a first receiving cavity and a second receiving cavity. The first motor is disposed in the first receiving cavity, and the second motor is disposed in the second receiving cavity. The partition portion has at least one communicating structure adapted to connect the first receiving cavity and the second receiving cavity.
[0007] Since the partition is provided with at least one connecting structure, which can connect the first receiving cavity and the second receiving cavity, the coolant in the first receiving cavity and the coolant in the second receiving cavity can be interconnected, so that the liquid in the receiving cavity with more coolant flows to the receiving cavity with less coolant, and finally the liquid levels of the coolant in the first receiving cavity and the coolant in the second receiving cavity are kept in dynamic equilibrium, so that the cooling effect of the first motor and the second motor is the same.
[0008] In addition, by connecting the first and second accommodating cavities through the connecting structure, coolant can be directly added to one of the first and second accommodating cavities. The coolant can then enter the other of the first and second accommodating cavities through the connecting structure. In this way, it is not necessary to add coolant to the first and second accommodating cavities separately. The coolant can be added by setting a coolant addition structure on only one side of the shell. The structure is simpler and saves space requirements for the coolant addition structure.

[0018] In some embodiments, along the height direction of the vehicle, the first tube extends in a direction away from the second receiving cavity and bends upward, and the second tube extends in a direction away from the first receiving cavity and bends upward.
[0019] In some embodiments, the second communication structure may include a second communication hole disposed on the partition portion.
[0020] In some embodiments, the second communication structure may further include a second communication tube, with its two ends extending out of the surface of the partition portion facing the first receiving cavity and the surface of the partition portion facing the second receiving cavity, respectively.
[0021] In some embodiments, the second connecting pipe may be a straight pipe extending in a horizontal direction.

Thus, a feature defined with "first," "second," "third," "fourth," "fifth," and "sixth" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of that feature.
[0041] In embodiments of this disclosure, the terms "comprising," "including," or any other variations thereof are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements includes not only those elements but also other elements not expressly listed, or elements inherent to such a process, method, article, or apparatus. Without further limitation, an element defined by the phrase "comprising one..." does not exclude the presence of other identical elements in the process, method, article, or apparatus that includes that element.
[0042] "A and / or B" includes the following three combinations: A only, B only, and a combination of A and B.
[0043] In embodiments of this disclosure, "parallel," "perpendicular," and "equal" include the described situation and situations that are similar to the described situation, within an acceptable deviation range, which is determined by those skilled in the art taking into account the measurement under discussion and the error associated with the measurement of a particular quantity (i.e., the limitations of the measurement system). For example, "parallel" includes absolute parallelism and approximate parallelism, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate parallelism may be, for example, within 5°; "perpendicular" includes absolute perpendicularity and approximate perpendicularity, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate perpendicularity may also be, for example, within 5°; "equal" includes absolute equality and approximate equality, where an acceptable deviation range for approximate equality may be, for example, a difference between the two equalities less than or equal to 5% of either one.
[0044] This disclosure provides an electrical device, which can be a vehicle, ship, aircraft, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, or urban emergency power system, etc. This disclosure uses a vehicle as an example for detailed description.
[0045] The vehicle 1000 can be a pure electric vehicle, a hybrid electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, a range-extended electric vehicle, or a gasoline-powered vehicle. Vehicle 1000 can also include cars, trucks, buses, lorries, trailers, and special-purpose vehicles.
[0046] Please refer to Figure 1, which is a structural diagram of a vehicle 1000 provided according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The vehicle 1000 may include a body 100 and wheels 200. The body 100 is used for passengers to ride in and for carrying goods, and the wheels 200 are mounted under the body 100 to support the body 100 and are able to roll on the road surface so that the vehicle 1000 can move.
[0047] The vehicle 1000 may also include an electric drive system 300 and a battery pack. The electric drive system 300 can be connected to the battery pack, and the battery pack outputs electrical energy to the electric drive system 300 so that the electric drive system 300 can obtain power. The electric drive system 300 can convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and transmit the mechanical energy to the wheels 200 so that the wheels 200 rotate, thereby driving the vehicle 1000 to travel on the road.
[0048] The electric drive system 300 may include a motor assembly 1, which is connected to a battery pack to receive electrical energy and perform power conversion.
[0049] Please refer to Figure 2, which is a structural diagram of a motor assembly 1 provided according to an embodiment of this disclosure. To improve the performance of the vehicle 1000, enabling it to travel faster and have greater power, the motor assembly 1 may include a first motor 10 and a second motor 20. The first motor 10 and the second motor 20 are coaxially arranged and connected to two opposing wheels 200 in the width direction of the vehicle 1000, respectively. That is, the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 are respectively connected to two opposing wheels 200 on the front or rear axle of the vehicle 1000, driving the two wheels 200 respectively. In this way, the wheels 200 receive more mechanical energy and have a stronger driving force, thereby increasing the power of the vehicle 1000.
[0050] In some embodiments, the motor assembly 1 includes a housing 30, which has a receiving space configured to receive a first motor 10 and a second motor 20 to support and protect the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 and prevent foreign objects from damaging the first motor 10 and the second motor 20.
[0051] The space is also configured to hold coolant, which can cool the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, reducing the performance degradation of the motors due to increased temperature.
[0052] Since the motor assembly 1 includes a first motor 10 and a second motor 20 arranged coaxially, the axial length of the housing is relatively long. When the attitude of the vehicle 1000 changes, for example, when the vehicle 1000 tilts or makes a sharp turn, the coolant in the housing will shift to one side, resulting in less coolant on one side of the first motor 10 or the second motor 20. This makes it impossible to cool the motor on the side with less coolant, resulting in higher motor temperature and decreased motor performance.
[0053] In some technologies, in order to improve the driving force of the vehicle, the drive system can be set as a dual-motor drive assembly. When the vehicle is under high steering acceleration or when the vehicle is tilted, the oil in the two motor chambers may move between each other, causing an imbalance in the oil.
[0054] Therefore, a partition 31 can be provided inside the housing 30, which can divide the accommodating space inside the housing 30 into a first accommodating cavity 301 and a second accommodating cavity 302. The first motor 10 is disposed in the first accommodating cavity 301, and the second motor 20 is disposed in the second accommodating cavity 302. In this way, coolant can be added to the first accommodating cavity 301 and the second accommodating cavity 302 respectively to cool the first motor 10 and the second motor 20. This ensures that when the attitude of the vehicle 1000 changes, there is coolant in both the first accommodating cavity 301 and the second accommodating cavity 302, so that the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 can be cooled separately to maintain the good performance of the motor assembly 1.
[0055] However, since coolant is added to the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 respectively to cool the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, the amount of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 may be unequal. This results in different cooling effects for the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, leading to different temperatures for the first motor 10 and the second motor 20. Consequently, the conversion capabilities of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 are different, causing the two wheels 200 on the same axle of the vehicle 1000 to rotate at different speeds, resulting in a malfunction.
[0056] Therefore, at least one connecting structure is provided on the partition 31, which can connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, so that the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 can communicate with each other, so that the liquid in the receiving cavity with more coolant can flow to the receiving cavity with less coolant, and finally the liquid levels of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 can be kept in dynamic equilibrium, so that the cooling effect of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 is the same.
[0057] In addition, by providing a connecting structure on the partition 31, the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 can be connected. Therefore, coolant can be directly added to the first receiving cavity 301, and the coolant can enter the second receiving cavity 302 through the connecting structure. In this way, it is not necessary to add coolant to the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 separately. The structure for adding coolant can be provided only on one side of the housing 30, which simplifies the structure and saves space requirements for the liquid filling structure.
[0058] In some embodiments, along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, at least one connecting structure is located below the first motor 10 and the second motor 20.
[0059] Because the connecting structure is positioned below the coolant surface, coolant can flow from the higher-level container to the lower-level container through the connecting structure, maintaining a dynamic balance between the coolant levels in the first container 301 and the second container 302. Conversely, if at least one connecting structure is located below the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, it prevents the connecting structure from being positioned too high, which would result in an excessive difference in coolant level between the first container 301 and the second container 302, leading to inconsistent temperatures between the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, and rendering the connecting structure ineffective in balancing the coolant levels.
[0060] In addition, the connecting structure is located below the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, which can reduce the amount of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, and prevent excessive coolant from entering the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, which would put a large load on the motor and affect the operating efficiency of the motor.
[0061] Since the coolant level is lower than that of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20, in order to ensure that the coolant can evenly wet the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 and so that the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 can be well cooled, in some embodiments of this disclosure, the motor assembly 1 may include a first suction filter 40 and a second suction filter 50.
[0062] Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, a first suction filter 40 is disposed below the first motor 10. It can draw coolant from the first receiving cavity 301, filter the coolant, and deliver it to the liquid outlet device. The liquid outlet device then outputs the coolant to the first motor 10 to cool it down. Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, a second suction filter 50 is disposed below the second motor 20. It can draw coolant from the second receiving cavity 302, filter the coolant, and deliver it to the liquid outlet device. The liquid outlet device then outputs the coolant to the second motor 20 to cool it down.
[0063] At least one connecting structure is provided above the first suction filter 40 and the second suction filter 50 to prevent coolant in one of the first receiving chamber 301 and the second receiving chamber 302 from entering the other through the connecting structure when the attitude of the vehicle 1000 changes. This would cause the coolant level in one receiving chamber to be too low, preventing the suction filter from drawing coolant to cool the motor and causing a malfunction of the vehicle 1000.
[0064] In some embodiments of this disclosure, the motor assembly 1 further includes a fuel injection pipe 60, which is positioned above the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 along the height direction of the vehicle 1000. The fuel injection pipe 60 can be connected to a filter, and the coolant filtered by the filter can be delivered to the fuel injection pipe 60. The coolant is then sprayed onto the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 through the fuel injection pipe 60 to cool them down.
[0065] In some embodiments of this disclosure, the motor assembly 1 may further include a terminal block 70, which may include a three-phase wire disposed on the top of the housing 30 and configured to connect the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 to meet the wiring requirements of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20.
[0066] The partition 31 may be provided with a receiving hole 34, and the terminal block 70 may be inserted into the receiving hole 34 so that the terminal block 70 can be connected to both the first motor 10 and the second motor 20. In addition, the terminal block 70 can also be connected to the electronic control assembly so that the electronic control system can control the operating status of the first motor 10 or the second motor 20.
[0067] Since the partition 31 is provided with a receiving hole 34 for accommodating the terminal block 70, and the terminal block 70 is located on the top of the housing 30, the receiving hole 34 can be located at one end of the partition 31 near the top and connects the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302.
[0068] Due to the configuration of the fuel injection pipe 60 and the receiving hole 34, when the electric drive system 300 is running at high power, the motor temperature is relatively high. The fuel injection pipe 60 needs to spray a large amount of coolant to cool the motor. At this time, the coolant flow rate at the nozzle of the fuel injection pipe 60 is high. When the fuel is sprayed onto the surface of the motor, it will splash. The coolant splashed in the first receiving cavity 301 may enter the second receiving cavity 302 through the receiving hole 34, and the coolant splashed in the second receiving cavity 302 may also enter the first receiving cavity 301 through the receiving hole 34.
[0069] If there is no connecting structure on the partition 31, even if the initial liquid levels of the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 are the same, the volume of coolant in the two will change over time, resulting in unbalanced cooling on both sides and differences in cooling effect.
[0070] By providing at least one connecting structure on the partition 31, the coolant levels of the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 can be kept in dynamic balance, reducing the inconsistency in cooling effect between the first motor 10 and the second motor 20.
[0071] Setting the connecting structure too high or too low will result in poor liquid level balance in the first receiving chamber 301 and the second receiving chamber 302. If the opening diameter of the connecting structure is too small, the coolant balance speed in the first receiving chamber 301 and the second receiving chamber 302 will be too slow. If the opening diameter of the connecting structure is too large, when the vehicle 1000 attitude changes, such as when tilting or making a sharp turn, the coolant on one side will quickly flow to the other side through the connecting structure, causing the filter to be sucked up.
[0072] Therefore, in some embodiments of this disclosure, at least one connecting structure may include a first connecting structure 32 and a second connecting structure 33, with the first connecting structure 32 located above the second connecting structure 33 along the height direction of the vehicle 1000.
[0073] In this way, both the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33 can be used to connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, so that the coolant can achieve dynamic balance of the liquid level through the first connecting structure 32 and / or the second connecting structure 33.
[0074] Furthermore, when coolant is added to the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, due to the connecting structure, coolant can be added to the first receiving cavity 301 and overflow into the second receiving cavity 302 through the connecting structure. When coolant is added to the first receiving cavity 301, since twice the amount of coolant is added to the first receiving cavity 301, that is, the sum of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, the liquid level is relatively high. Coolant can simultaneously flow into the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33, so that the liquid levels in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 are balanced.
[0075] It should be noted that, when we say that the first connecting structure 32 is above the second connecting structure 33, we mean that the openings at both ends of the first connecting structure 32 are above the openings at both ends of the second connecting structure 33.
[0076] In some embodiments, the aperture of the first connecting structure 32 is larger than the aperture of the second connecting structure 33. This allows the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 to overflow quickly into the second receiving cavity 302 through the larger aperture of the first connecting structure 32 when liquid is added to the first receiving cavity 301. This initially balances the coolant levels in the first and second receiving cavities 301 and 302 within a short time, enabling the motor assembly 1 to maintain normal operation. Further liquid level balancing is then achieved through the smaller aperture of the second connecting structure 33, ensuring that the cooling efficiency of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 are the same, and their operating efficiencies are identical.
[0077] By setting the first connecting structure 32, the refueling time can be shortened, while saving the refueling structure of the second receiving cavity 302, thereby reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
[0078] The aperture of the first connecting structure 32 and the aperture of the second connecting structure 33 are equivalent apertures. The openings of the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33 can be circular holes, elliptical holes, square holes, trapezoidal holes or irregularly shaped holes. The openings of the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33 are equivalent to the diameter of a circle of equal area.
[0079] In some embodiments, the first connecting structure 32 may include a first connecting hole 321 disposed on the partition portion 31. The first connecting hole 321 may be configured to connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, so that coolant can flow between the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting hole 321, thereby causing the liquid in the receiving cavity with more coolant to flow to the receiving cavity with less coolant, ultimately maintaining a dynamic balance between the liquid levels of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302, thereby ensuring that the cooling effect of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 is the same.
[0080] In some embodiments, the second connecting structure 33 may include a second connecting hole 331, which is also disposed on the partition portion 31. The second connecting hole 331 may also connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, so that coolant can flow between the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, thereby achieving dynamic balance of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302.
[0081] Please refer to Figures 3 and 4. Figure 4 is a structural diagram of the motor assembly 1 shown in Figure 3 when it has a connecting pipe. In some embodiments, the first connecting structure 32 may further include a first connecting pipe, with its two ends extending out of the partition 31 toward the surface of the first receiving cavity 301 and the partition 31 toward the surface of the second receiving cavity 302, respectively.
[0082] The first connecting pipe can connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302. By allowing coolant to flow between the first connecting pipe, a dynamic balance of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 is achieved, thereby making the cooling efficiency of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 the same.
[0083] In some embodiments, the second connecting structure 33 may further include a second connecting pipe 332, with the two ends of the second connecting pipe 332 extending out of the surface of the partition 31 toward the first receiving cavity 301 and the surface of the partition 31 toward the second receiving cavity 302, respectively.
[0084] The second connecting pipe 332 can also connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302. By allowing the coolant to flow in the second connecting pipe 332, a dynamic balance of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 is achieved, thereby making the cooling efficiency of the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 the same.
[0085] Since the first connecting pipe and the second connecting pipe 332 can extend from the surfaces of the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, when the motor assembly 1 is tilted, the liquid level in the receiving cavity with the higher liquid level must be higher than the opening of the connecting pipe to allow the coolant in the receiving cavity to flow to the other receiving cavity. This further ensures that both the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 have sufficient coolant, so that both the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 can be adequately cooled. This prevents coolant from flowing to the other receiving cavity due to the tilt of the motor assembly 1, thus avoiding insufficient cooling of one side of the motor.
[0086] For example, referring to Figures 3 and 4, when the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33 provided on the partition 31 are respectively the first connecting hole 321 and the second connecting hole 331, when the motor assembly 1 is tilted toward the second receiving cavity 302, the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 will flow to the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting hole 321 and the second connecting hole 331. When the liquid levels in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 are in dynamic equilibrium, the liquid level in the first receiving cavity 301 is level with the height of the second connecting hole 331, that is, the liquid level height shown in Figure 3 or the height A shown in Figure 4.
[0087] When the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33 provided on the partition 31 are respectively the first connecting hole 321 and the second connecting pipe 332, when the motor assembly 1 is tilted toward the second receiving cavity 302, the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 will flow to the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting hole 321 and the second connecting pipe 332. When the liquid levels in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 are in dynamic equilibrium, the liquid level in the first receiving cavity 301 is level with the opening height of the second connecting pipe 332 toward the first receiving cavity 301, that is, the height B shown in Figure 4.
[0088] Height B is higher than height A. When the liquid level is at height A, part of the first suction filter 40 may be above the liquid level at height A. If the inlet of the first suction filter 40 is above the liquid level, the first suction filter 40 may suck in air, causing the first motor 10 to fail to cool properly.
[0089] After adding the second connecting pipe 332, when the motor assembly 1 is in a horizontal state, the actual height of the second connecting structure 33 remains unchanged, and the coolant can still achieve dynamic balance through the second connecting pipe 332. When the motor assembly 1 is tilted, the liquid level in the first receiving cavity 301 can be increased, allowing the first suction filter 40 to be better immersed in the coolant and reducing the possibility of cavitation. In this way, the coolant flow when the vehicle 1000 is tilted can be reduced, and the possibility of cavitation in the suction filter can be reduced.
[0090] In some embodiments, the first connecting pipe may be a first straight pipe extending in a horizontal direction. This horizontal direction is relative to the width direction of the vehicle 1000, and the two ends of the first straight pipe face towards the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, respectively. By setting the first connecting pipe as a first straight pipe extending in a horizontal direction, the flow of coolant can be smoother, reducing coolant residue in the first connecting pipe.
[0091] In some embodiments, the second connecting pipe 332 may also be a second straight pipe that connects in a horizontal direction. Similarly, the second straight pipe can make the flow of coolant through the second connecting pipe 332 smoother and reduce coolant residue in the second connecting pipe 332.
[0092] When the layout space within the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 is insufficient, in some embodiments, the first connecting pipe can be a first bend. In this way, the first bend can also be used to connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, achieving dynamic balance of the liquid levels in the two cavities. Furthermore, the first bend can reduce the extension length of the first connecting pipe compared to a straight pipe, saving the space required for layout.
[0093] In some embodiments, the portion of the first bend located in the first receiving cavity 301 can be a first tube section, the portion of the first bend located in the second receiving cavity 302 can be a second tube section, and the portion of the first bend located within the partition 31 can be a third tube section. Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the center of the opening of the first tube section and the center of the opening of the second tube section are higher than the center of the third tube section, or the center of the opening of the first tube section, the center of the opening of the second tube section, and the center of the third tube section are flush.
[0094] When the center of the opening of the first pipe section, the center of the opening of the second pipe section, and the center of the third pipe section are aligned, when the liquid level of the coolant in one side of the receiving cavity is higher than the center of the third pipe section, the coolant can enter the other side of the receiving cavity through the opening of the first pipe section or the opening of the second pipe section, so as to achieve dynamic balance of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302.
[0095] When the center of the opening of the first pipe section and the center of the opening of the second pipe section are higher than the center of the third pipe section, when the liquid level of the coolant in one side of the receiving cavity is higher than the opening of the first pipe section or the opening of the second pipe section, the coolant can achieve dynamic balance of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 through the opening of the first pipe section or the opening of the second pipe section.
[0096] In addition, when the center of the opening of the first pipe section and the center of the opening of the second pipe section are higher than the center of the third pipe section, or when the center of the opening of the first pipe section, the center of the opening of the second pipe section and the center of the third pipe section are aligned, when the motor assembly 1 tilts, the height of the opening of the first connecting pipe is higher than the height of the first connecting hole 321, which can reduce the flow of coolant when tilting.
[0097] Please refer to Figure 5, which is a partially enlarged view of the motor assembly 1 shown in Figure 4 when it has another connecting pipe. In some embodiments, along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the first pipe extends and bends upward in a direction away from the second receiving cavity 302, and the second pipe extends and bends upward in a direction away from the first receiving cavity 301.
[0098] Thus, the first connecting pipe can be a "U" shaped structure. When the coolant level on one side of the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 is higher than the opening height of the first connecting pipe, the coolant can flow between the two through the first connecting pipe, so that the liquid level height of the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 reaches a dynamic balance, thereby ensuring that both the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 have sufficient coolant to cool and reduce the temperature of the motor.
[0099] The dynamic balance here does not necessarily mean that the liquid levels in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 are level. It may also mean that the liquid level of the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant level in the second receiving cavity 302 are both lower than the opening of the first connecting pipe. In this case, the amount of coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 is different, but the coolant cannot flow through the first connecting pipe. Both the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 have a sufficient amount of coolant to cool down the first motor 10 and the second motor 20. This is also considered a dynamic balance.
[0100] In some embodiments, the first bend may also be a zigzag bend or an arc bend, etc., and this disclosure does not limit it.
[0101] In some embodiments, the second connecting pipe 332 can be a second bend. In this way, the second bend can also be used to connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 to achieve dynamic balance of the liquid levels in the two cavities. At the same time, the first bend can reduce the extension length of the first connecting pipe compared to the straight pipe, saving the space required for layout.
[0102] In some embodiments, the portion of the second bend located in the first receiving cavity 301 can be a fourth tube portion 335, the portion of the second bend located in the second receiving cavity 302 can be a fifth tube portion 336, and the portion of the second bend located within the partition 31 can be a sixth tube portion 337. Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the center of the opening of the fourth tube portion 335 and the center of the opening of the fifth tube portion 336 are higher than the center of the sixth tube portion 337, or the center of the opening of the fourth tube portion 335 and the center of the opening of the fifth tube portion 336 are flush with the center of the sixth tube portion 337.
[0103] In this way, when the coolant level in the first receiving cavity 301 is higher than the opening height of the fourth pipe section 335 or the coolant level in the second receiving cavity 302 is higher than the opening height of the fifth pipe section 336, the coolant can achieve dynamic balance between the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302 through the second connecting pipe 332, thereby enabling the first motor 10 and the second motor 20 to be cooled down normally.
[0104] In some embodiments, along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the fourth tube 335 extends and bends upward in a direction away from the second receiving cavity 302, and the fifth tube 336 extends and bends upward in a direction away from the first receiving cavity 301.
[0105] Thus, the second connecting pipe 332 can connect the first receiving cavity 301 and the second receiving cavity 302, so that the liquid level of the first receiving cavity 301 and the liquid level of the second receiving cavity 302 can maintain a dynamic balance. Since the second connecting pipe 332 has a "U" shaped structure, the coolant can flow smoothly in the second connecting pipe 332 and is not easily affected by shape interference, which may lead to poor flow.
[0106] Please continue to refer to Figures 3 and 4. In some embodiments, the port of the first connecting structure 32 that connects to the first receiving cavity 301 is called the first port 322, and the port of the second connecting structure 33 that connects to the first receiving cavity 301 is called the second port 333. Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the line connecting the center of the first port 322 and the center of the second port 333 is located above the first suction filter 40.
[0107] When the motor assembly 1 tilts to one side of the second receiving cavity 302, the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 can enter the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33.
[0108] For example, the first connecting structure 32 is the first connecting hole 321, and the second connecting structure 33 is the second connecting pipe 332. When the line connecting the centers of the first port 322 and the second port 333 is above the first suction filter 40, when the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 reach dynamic equilibrium, the height of the coolant level in the first receiving cavity 301 is flush with the line connecting the centers of the first port 322 and the second port 333. The line connecting the centers of the first port 322 and the second port 333 is above the first suction filter 40, which can make the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 submerge the first suction filter 40, reducing the possibility of the first suction filter 40 sucking up air, thereby allowing the first motor 10 to be cooled down.
[0109] In some embodiments, the port of the first connecting structure 32 that connects to the second receiving cavity 302 is the third port 323, and the port of the second connecting structure 33 that connects to the second receiving cavity 302 is the fourth port 334. Along the height direction of the vehicle 1000, the line connecting the center of the third port 323 and the center of the fourth port 334 is located above the second suction filter 50.
[0110] When the motor assembly 1 tilts to one side of the first receiving cavity 301, the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 can enter the second receiving cavity 302 through the first connecting structure 32 and the second connecting structure 33.
[0111] For example, the first connecting structure 32 is the first connecting hole 321, and the second connecting structure 33 is the second connecting pipe 332. When the line connecting the centers of the third port 323 and the fourth port 334 is above the second suction filter 50, when the coolant in the first receiving cavity 301 and the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 reach dynamic equilibrium, the height of the coolant level in the second receiving cavity 302 is level with the line connecting the centers of the third port 323 and the fourth port 334. The line connecting the centers of the third port 323 and the fourth port 334 is above the second suction filter 50, which can make the coolant in the second receiving cavity 302 submerge the second suction filter 50, reducing the possibility of the second suction filter 50 sucking up air, thereby allowing the second motor 20 to be cooled down.
