Description

Methods and apparatus for wireless communication Technical Field

[0001] This application relates to transmission methods and apparatus in wireless communication systems, and more particularly to methods and apparatus for transmitting wireless signals in wireless communication systems supporting cellular networks.

[0002] Background Technology A

[0003] In the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partner Project) standardization work on 5G, AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning) technologies are applied to scenarios such as CSI (Channel Status Information) compression, BM (Beam Management), and positioning. Furthermore, AI / ML is considered one of the key technologies for next-generation wireless communication, with applications including channel estimation, channel coding and decoding, joint channel-source coding, resource scheduling, and more.

[0004] DMRS (Demodulation Reference Signals) are used for terminal channel estimation and correlation demodulation of the physical channel. These reference signals appear in the resource blocks of the physical channel transmission. At the 3GPP 6G workshop, several companies mentioned that optimizing DMRS overhead in AI-assisted channel estimation scenarios is a potential research direction.

[0005] Invention Content A

[0006] Optimizing the distribution of DMRS within resource blocks allocated to physical channels is a problem worthy of serious study. Considering the aforementioned issues, this application discloses a solution. It should be noted that although the background technology primarily discusses AI / ML, the solution presented in this application is a general solution involving DMRS, and its application is not limited to AI / ML scenarios. Unless otherwise specified, the embodiments and features in the first node of this application can be applied to the second node. Unless otherwise specified, the embodiments and features in the embodiments of this application can be arbitrarily combined with each other.

[0007] Where necessary, the interpretation of terms used in this application may be referenced to the descriptions in the TS38 series of specification protocols of the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partner Project).

[0008] This application discloses a method for a first node in wireless communication, characterized by comprising:

[0009] Receive a first physical channel and the DMRS of the first physical channel; the candidate values of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel include values in a first set of values and values in a second set of values, the first set of values and the second set of values being mutually exclusive; the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for the consistency of precoding;

[0010] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set.

[0011] It should be noted that sending (or receiving) a physical channel is a common expression in this field, meaning sending (or receiving) on this physical channel, or meaning sending (or receiving) signals through this physical channel; the above expression is beneficial for maintaining consistency with the general expression in this field.

[0012] As an example, the above method associates the value of the precoding granularity with the distribution of DMRS in the resource blocks allocated to the physical channel, which provides the possibility of achieving a good match between the precoding granularity and the DMRS distribution, and is beneficial to enhancing the performance of the communication link.

[0013] As an example, the above method takes into account different values of precoding granularity and has good versatility.

[0014] As one example, the first node is a user equipment.

[0015] As one example, the first node is a terminal.

[0016] According to one aspect of this application, the above method is characterized in that,

[0017] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0018] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0019] As an example, the above method allows for the absence of DMRS mapping on certain resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in some cases, which helps to reduce DMRS overhead.

[0020] As an example, the above method provides the possibility of a good match between the value of the precoding granularity and whether the DMRS is mapped to each resource block allocated to the physical channel, which is beneficial for comprehensively considering the channel estimation effect and the DMRS overhead.

[0021] According to one aspect of this application, the above method is characterized in that,

[0022] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0023] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0024] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0025] As an example, the above method allows for the absence of DMRS mapping on certain resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in some cases, which helps to reduce DMRS overhead.

[0026] As an example, in the above method, the following situation is undesirable: the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0027] This characteristic helps to avoid the degradation of channel estimation performance caused by the mismatch between certain values of precoding granularity and the reduced DMRS overhead (e.g., the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel). On the other hand, it helps to reduce the complexity of system design.

[0028] According to one aspect of this application, the above method is characterized in that,

[0029] The first set of values includes at least one of 2 and 4, and the second set of values includes wideband.

[0030] As an example, the advantages of the above method include good compatibility with existing 3GPP protocols.

[0031] According to one aspect of this application, the above method is characterized by comprising:

[0032] Receive the first signaling;

[0036] According to one aspect of this application, the above method is characterized in that,

[0037] The first node assumes that the same precoding is applied to all resource blocks in the same resource block group allocated to the first physical channel.

[0038] As an example, the advantages of the above method include good compatibility with existing 3GPP protocols.

[0043] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set.

[0044] As one example, the second node is a network-side device.

[0045] In one embodiment, the second node is a base station.

[0052] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0075] Background Technology B

[0076] In traditional wireless communication, terminals supporting carrier aggregation technology can transmit and receive on multiple cells. Carrier aggregation technology can enable terminals to obtain greater service bandwidth and higher transmission rates, but its utilization efficiency of fragmented spectrum resources is not high. Supporting the configuration of multiple carriers in the same cell can not only obtain greater service bandwidth and higher transmission rates, but also effectively improve the utilization efficiency of fragmented spectrum resources and reduce base station energy consumption.

[0077] CSI (Channel State Information) reporting is a key technology in mobile communications; the network side can use the reported CSI to set appropriate transmission parameters for scheduled transmissions to improve transmission performance.

[0078] Invention Content B

[0195] As an example, the advantages of the above method include: it facilitates (at least partially) the reuse of precoding granularity values in existing 3GPP protocols, reducing the amount of standardization work.

[0196] As one embodiment, the first value set and the second value set are mutually exclusive, including: any value in the first value set does not belong to the second value set, and any value in the second value set does not belong to the first value set.

[0197] As one embodiment, the first set of values and the second set of values are mutually exclusive, including: the intersection of the first set of values and the second set of values is an empty set.

[0198] As an example, the candidate values of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel are predefined or configured.

[0199] As one embodiment, the first value set and the second value set are determined according to the instructions of the configuration signaling.

[0200] As an example, the first set of values includes only one value.

[0201] As one example, the first set of values includes multiple values.

[0202] As an example, the second set of values includes only one value.

[0203] As one example, the second set of values includes multiple values.

[0204] As an example, the candidate value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel includes values in the first value set and values in the second value set, including: the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the first value set, or a value in the second value set.

[0205] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is determined according to the signaling instruction.

[0206] As an example, the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel indicates the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0207] As an example, from the frequency domain perspective, the first physical channel is transmitted within a resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0208] As one example, signaling instructs multiple resource blocks to be allocated to the first physical channel.

[0209] As one embodiment, the frequency domain allocation of the first physical channel may be continuous or discontinuous.

[0210] As an example, the frequency domain structure of a resource block is predefined.

[0211] As an example, a resource block comprises 12 consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain.

[0212] As an example, each resource block allocated to the first physical channel refers to a physical resource block (PRB).

[0213] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel indicates the physical resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel.

[0214] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel indicates a plurality of virtual resource blocks, which are mapped to physical resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in an interleaved or non-interleaved manner.

[0215] As one embodiment, the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel includes: mapping the DMRS of the first physical channel to which resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel.

[0216] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the first set of values, or a value in the second set of values.

[0217] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the first set of values, and the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values.

[0218] Alternatively, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the second set of values, and the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values.

[0219] As an example, the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel depends on whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values or the second set of values.

[0220] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is configured.

[0221] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is indicated by configuration parameters.

[0222] As an example, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined to implement the process of physical resource block (PRB) bundling.

[0223] As an example, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency, including: the application scope of the same precoding depends on the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0224] As one embodiment, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency and includes:

[0225] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the same precoding is applied to all resources allocated to the first physical channel; when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the same precoding is applied to all resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in the same resource block group, the determination of the same resource block group depends on the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0226] As an example, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency, including: the assumption of the first node's application scope of the same precoding depends on the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0227] As one embodiment, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency and includes:

[0228] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the first node assumes that the same precoding is applied to all resources allocated to the first physical channel; when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the first node assumes that the same precoding is applied to all resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in the same resource block group, the determination of the same resource block group depends on the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0229] As one embodiment, the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency and includes:

[0230] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the first node may assume that the same precoding is applied to all resources allocated to the first physical channel; when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the first node may assume that the same precoding is applied to all resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in the same resource block group, the determination of the same resource block group depending on the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0231] As a special case, all resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel in the same resource block group can also be a single resource block.

[0232] As an example, within the same resource block, the precoding applied to signals transmitted through the first physical channel is the same.

[0233] As an example, the first node may assume that the precoding applied to signals transmitted through the first physical channel within the same resource block is the same.

[0234] Within the same resource block, the precoding applied to signals transmitted through the first physical channel is the same.

[0235] As an example, the same precoding is applied to some resources (e.g., multiple resource blocks), which means that the same precoding is applied to signals transmitted over these resources via the first physical channel.

[0236] As an example, the same precoding is applied to some resources (e.g., multiple resource blocks), which means that the first node may assume that the same precoding is applied to signals transmitted over these resources via the first physical channel.

[0237] As an example, a first signal is transmitted on the first physical channel and within a resource block group, and a second signal is transmitted on the first physical channel and within another resource block group. The first node cannot assume that the first signal and the second signal use the same precoding.

[0238] As an example, a resource block group includes at least one resource block.

[0239] As an example, a resource block group may include only one resource block or multiple resource blocks that are consecutive in the frequency domain.

[0240] As an example, the resource blocks in a resource block group are physical resource blocks.

[0241] As an example, a resource block group is a precoding resource block group (PRG).

[0242] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, and each resource block allocated to the first physical channel is in a resource block group.

[0243] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel represents the number of consecutive resource blocks.

[0244] As one example, the precoding applied to the transmission of the first physical channel includes multi-antenna precoding.

[0245] As one example, the precoding applied to the transmission of the first physical channel includes downlink precoding.

[0246] Example 2

[0247] Example 2 illustrates a schematic diagram of a network architecture according to this application, as shown in Figure 2. Figure 2 illustrates a network architecture 200 for 6G, 5G NR, 5G-Advanced, LTE (Long-Term Evolution), and LTE-A (Long-Term Evolution Advanced) systems. The P-GW / UPF213 is connected to Internet service 230. [0258] Example 3

[0259] Example 3 illustrates a schematic diagram of an embodiment of a wireless protocol architecture for a user plane and a control plane according to this application, as shown in Figure 3. Figure 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating an embodiment of a radio protocol architecture for a user plane 350 and a control plane 300. Figure 3 shows the radio protocol architecture for the control plane 300 for user equipment and network-side equipment in three layers: Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3. Layer 1 (L1 layer) is the lowest layer and implements various PHY (Physical Layer) signal processing functions. The L1 layer will be referred to herein as PHY 301. Layer 2 (L2 layer) 305 is above PHY 301 and is responsible for the link between the user equipment and the network-side equipment through PHY 301. L2 layer 305 includes a MAC (Medium Access Control) sublayer 302, an RLC (Radio Link Control) sublayer 303, and a PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) sublayer 304, which terminate at the network-side equipment. PDCP sublayer 304 provides multiplexing between different radio bearers and logical channels. PDCP sublayer 304 also provides security through encrypted data packets and supports cross-cell mobility between network-side devices and user equipment. RLC sublayer 303 provides upper-layer packet segmentation and reassembly, retransmission of lost packets, and packet reordering to compensate for out-of-order reception due to HARQ. MAC sublayer 302 provides multiplexing between logical and transport channels. MAC sublayer 302 is also responsible for allocating various radio resources (e.g., resource blocks) within a cell among user equipment. MAC sublayer 302 is also responsible for HARQ operations. The RRC (Radio Resource Control) sublayer 306 in Layer 3 (L3) of the control plane 300 is responsible for acquiring radio resources (i.e., radio bearers) and configuring the lower layers using RRC signaling between network-side devices and user equipment. The radio protocol architecture of the user plane 350 includes Layer 1 (L1 layer) and Layer 2 (L2 layer). The radio protocol architecture for user equipment and network-side equipment in the user plane 350 is largely the same as the corresponding layers and sublayers in the control plane 300 for Physical Layer 351, PDCP sublayer 354 in L2 layer 355, RLC sublayer 353 in L2 layer 355 and MAC sublayer 352 in L2 layer 355. However, PDCP sublayer 354 also provides header compression for upper layer data packets to reduce radio transmission overhead.The L2 layer 355 in the user plane 350 also includes an SDAP (Service Data Adaptation Protocol) sublayer 356. The SDAP sublayer 356 is responsible for mapping between QoS streams and data radio bearers (DRBs) to support service diversity. Although not illustrated, the user equipment may have several upper layers above the L2 layer 355, including a network layer (e.g., IP layer) terminating at the P-GW on the network side and an application layer terminating at the other end of the connection (e.g., a remote UE, server, etc.).

[0260] As an example, the wireless protocol architecture in Figure 3 is applicable to the first node in this application.

[0261] As an example, the wireless protocol architecture in Figure 3 is applicable to the second node in this application.

[0262] As an example, the first node and the second node in this application are the user equipment and network-side equipment in Example 3, respectively.

[0263] As an example, the first signaling in this application is generated in the PHY301.

[0264] As an example, the first physical channel in this application is generated in the PHY351.

[0265] As an example, the higher layer mentioned in this application refers to the layer above the physical layer.

[0266] Example 4

[0267] Example 4 illustrates a hardware module schematic diagram of a communication node according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 4. Figure 4 is a block diagram of a first communication device 450 and a second communication device 410 communicating with each other in an access network.

[0268] The first communication device 450 includes a controller / processor 459, a memory 460, a data source 467, a transmitting processor 468, a receiving processor 456, a multi-antenna transmitting processor 457, a multi-antenna receiving processor 458, a transmitter / receiver 454, and an antenna 452.

[0269] The second communication device 410 includes a controller / processor 475, a memory 476, a receiver processor 470, a transmitter processor 416, a multi-antenna receiver processor 472, a multi-antenna transmitter processor 471, a transmitter / receiver 418, and an antenna 420.

[0270] In the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the first communication device 450, at the second communication device 410, upper-layer data packets from the core network are provided to the controller / processor 475. The controller / processor 475 implements L2 layer functionality. In the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the first communication device 450, the controller / processor 475 provides header compression, encryption, packet segmentation and reordering, multiplexing between logical and transport channels, and radio resource allocation to the first communication device 450 based on various priority metrics. The controller / processor 475 is also responsible for retransmitting lost packets and signaling to the first communication device 450. The transmit processor 416 and the multi-antenna transmit processor 471 implement various signal processing functions for the L1 layer (i.e., the physical layer). Transmit processor 416 performs channel coding and interleaving to facilitate forward error correction (FEC) at the second communication device 410, and mapping of signal clusters based on various modulation schemes (e.g., Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK), Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK), M-Phase Shift Keying (M-PSK), M-QAM). Multi-antenna transmit processor 471 performs digital spatial precoding on the encoded and modulated symbols, including codebook-based and non-codebook-based precoding, and beamforming processing, generating one or more spatial streams. Transmit processor 416 then maps each spatial stream to subcarriers, multiplexes it with a reference signal (e.g., a pilot) in the time and / or frequency domains, and subsequently uses inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) to generate a physical channel carrying the time-domain multicarrier symbol stream. Multi-antenna transmit processor 471 then performs transmit analog precoding / beamforming operations on the time-domain multicarrier symbol stream. Each transmitter 418 converts the baseband multicarrier symbol stream provided by the multi-antenna transmitter processor 471 into an radio frequency stream, which is then provided to different antennas 420.

[0271] In the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the first communication device 450, at the first communication device 450, each receiver 454 receives a signal through its corresponding antenna 452. Each receiver 454 recovers the information modulated onto the radio frequency carrier and converts the radio frequency stream into a baseband multicarrier symbol stream, which is then provided to the receiver processor 456. The receiver processor 456 and the multi-antenna receiver processor 458 implement various signal processing functions of the L1 layer. The multi-antenna receiver processor 458 performs receive analog precoding / beamforming operations on the baseband multicarrier symbol stream from the receiver 454. The receiver processor 456 uses a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to convert the baseband multicarrier symbol stream after the receive analog precoding / beamforming operations from the time domain to the frequency domain. In the frequency domain, the physical layer data signal and the reference signal are demultiplexed by the receiver processor 456, where the reference signal is used for channel estimation, and the data signal is recovered in the multi-antenna receiver processor 458 after multi-antenna detection to recover any spatial stream destined for the first communication device 450. Symbols on each spatial stream are demodulated and recovered in the receive processor 456, generating soft decisions. The receive processor 456 then deinterleaves and decodes the soft decisions to recover the upper-layer data and control signals transmitted by the second communication device 410 over the physical channel. The upper-layer data and control signals are then provided to the controller / processor 459. The controller / processor 459 implements the functions of Layer 2. The controller / processor 459 may be associated with a memory 460 storing program code and data. The memory 460 may be referred to as computer-readable media. In the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the second node 450, the controller / processor 459 provides multiplexing, packet reassembly, decryption, header decompression, and control signal processing between the transport and logical channels to recover upper-layer data packets from the core network. The upper-layer data packets are then provided to all protocol layers above Layer 2. Various control signals may also be provided to Layer 3 for Layer 3 processing.

[0272] In the transmission from the first communication device 450 to the second communication device 410, at the first communication device 450, a data source 467 is used to provide upper-layer data packets to the controller / processor 459. The data source 467 represents all protocol layers above the L2 layer. Similar to the transmission functions at the second communication device 410 described in the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the first communication device 450, the controller / processor 459 implements header compression, encryption, packet segmentation and reordering, and multiplexing between logical and transport channels based on radio resource allocation, implementing L2 layer functions for the user plane and control plane. The controller / processor 459 is also responsible for retransmitting lost packets and signaling to the second communication device 410. Transmit processor 468 performs channel coding, interleaving, and modulation mapping. Multi-antenna transmit processor 457 performs digital multi-antenna spatial precoding, including codebook-based and non-codebook-based precoding, and beamforming. Subsequently, transmit processor 468 modulates the generated spatial stream into a multi-carrier / single-carrier symbol stream. After analog precoding / beamforming operations in multi-antenna transmit processor 457, the stream is provided to different antennas 452 via transmitter 454. Each transmitter 454 first converts the baseband symbol stream provided by multi-antenna transmit processor 457 into a radio frequency symbol stream before providing it to antenna 452.

[0273] In the transmission from the first communication device 450 to the second communication device 410, the function at the second communication device 410 is similar to the receiving function at the first communication device 450 described in the transmission from the second communication device 410 to the first communication device 450. Each receiver 418 receives radio frequency signals through its corresponding antenna 420, converts the received radio frequency signals into baseband signals, and provides the baseband signals to the multi-antenna receiving processor 472 and the receiving processor 470. The receiving processor 470 and the multi-antenna receiving processor 472 jointly implement the L1 layer functions. The controller / processor 475 implements the L2 layer functions. The controller / processor 475 may be associated with a memory 476 that stores program code and data. The memory 476 may be referred to as computer-readable media. In the transmission from the first communication device 450 to the second communication device 410, the controller / processor 475 provides multiplexing between the transmission and logical channels, packet reassembly, decryption, header decompression, and control signal processing to recover upper-layer data packets from the UE 450. Upper-layer packets from the controller / processor 475 can be provided to the core network.

[0294] The cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs. The frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0295] As one embodiment, the first communication device 450 includes: a memory storing a computer-readable instruction program that generates an action when executed by at least one processor, the action including: sending a first CSI report; the priority value of the first CSI report depends on a first cell index and has a linear relationship with a first frequency block group index;

[0296] The cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs. The frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0297] As one embodiment, the second communication device 410 includes: at least one processor and at least one memory, the at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to be used with the at least one processor. The second communication device 410 at least: receives a first CSI report; the priority value of the first CSI report depends on a first cell index and has a linear relationship with a first frequency block group index;

[0298] The cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs. The frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0299] As one embodiment, the second communication device 410 includes: a memory storing a computer-readable instruction program that generates an action when executed by at least one processor, the action including: receiving a first CSI report; the priority value of the first CSI report depends on a first cell index and has a linear relationship with a first frequency block group index;

[0300] The cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs. The frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0301] As an example, the first communication device 450 is the first node in this application.

[0302] As an example, the second communication device 410 is the second node in this application.

[0303] As an example, the first communication device 450 is a UE, and the second communication device 410 is a base station.

[0304] As an example, at least one of {the antenna 452, the receiver 454, the multi-antenna receiving processor 458, the receiving processor 456, the controller / processor 459, the memory 460, and the data source 467} is used to receive the first signaling in this application.

[0305] As an example, at least one of {the antenna 420, the transmitter 418, the multi-antenna transmitter processor 471, the transmitter processor 416, the controller / processor 475, and the memory 476} is used to transmit the first signaling in this application.

[0307] As an example, at least one of {the antenna 420, the receiver 418, the multi-antenna receiver processor 472, the receiver processor 470, the controller / processor 475, and the memory 476} is used to receive the first CSI report in this application.

[0308] Example 5

[0309] Example 5 illustrates a transmission flowchart between a first node and a second node according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 5. Specifically, in Figure 5, the steps in dashed boxes F1 and F2 are optional.

[0310] First node U1 receives first signaling in step S511; receives first physical channel and DMRS of first physical channel in step S512; and sends HARQ-ACK bits in step S513.

[0311] The second node U2 sends the first signaling in step S521; sends the first physical channel and the DMRS of the first physical channel in step S522; and receives the HARQ-ACK bit in step S523.

[0312] In embodiment 5, the first physical channel is scheduled by the first signaling, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel; the candidate values of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel include values in a first set of values and values in a second set of values, the first set of values and the second set of values are mutually exclusive, the first set of values includes at least one of 2 and 4, and the second set of values includes wideband; the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency;

[0313] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set; the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel depends on the indication of the first signaling.

[0314] As a sub-example of Example 5, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0315] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0316] As a sub-implementation of Embodiment 5, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or...

[0317] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0318] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0319] As a sub-implementation of Embodiment 5 (this sub-implementation can be combined with the other two sub-implementations), when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set: multiple resource block groups depend on the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel, and the size of each resource block group in the multiple resource block groups is not greater than the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0320] As an example, the size of a resource block group refers to the number of resource blocks included in the resource block group.

[0321] As an example, the first node U1 is the first node in this application.

[0322] As an example, the second node U2 is the second node in this application.

[0323] As an example, the first node U1 is a UE.

[0324] As one example, the second node U2 is a base station.

[0325] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2 and the first node U1 is the Uu interface.

[0326] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2 and the first node U1 includes a cellular link.

[0327] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2 and the first node U1 includes a wireless interface between the base station equipment and the user equipment.

[0328] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2 and the first node U1 includes a wireless interface between satellite equipment and user equipment.

[0329] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2 and the first node U1 includes a wireless interface between the relay device and the user equipment.

[0330] As an example, the first physical channel and the DMRS of the first physical channel are transmitted in the same time slot.

[0331] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel, including:

[0332] In the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel, there exists at least one resource block; the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to any resource block in the at least one resource block.

[0333] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel are contiguous in the frequency domain.

[0334] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, and at least a portion of the DMRS of the first physical channel is transmitted on the frequency domain resources included in this resource block; or, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, and any portion of the DMRS of the first physical channel is not transmitted on the frequency domain resources included in this resource block.

[0335] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, including: at least a portion of the physical resources to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped are in this resource block.

[0336] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, including: the resource block does not include the physical resources to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0337] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, and the mapping of the DMRS of the first physical channel to which / which physical resource(s) in this resource block is configurable.

[0338] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, and the mapping of the DMRS of the first physical channel to which / which physical resources in this resource block are indicated by signaling.

[0339] As an example, the physical resource to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped is a basic unit defined in the frequency domain, and a resource block includes multiple such basic units.

[0340] As an example, the physical resource to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped is a subcarrier corresponding to an RE (Resource Element).

[0341] As one embodiment, the physical resource to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped is a RE;

[0342] When a subcarrier corresponding to an RE is a subcarrier included in a resource block, the RE is in that resource block (or, the resource block includes the RE); when a subcarrier corresponding to an RE is not a subcarrier included in a resource block, the RE is not in that resource block (or, the resource block does not include the RE).

[0343] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel can be mapped to multiple physical resources.

[0344] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, including: at least a portion of the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to frequency domain resources included in the resource block.

[0345] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, including: any part of the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to the frequency domain resources included in the resource block.

[0346] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, including: the resource block includes a subcarrier corresponding to at least one resource unit to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0347] As one embodiment, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, including: the resource block does not include the subcarrier corresponding to the resource unit to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0348] As an example, the HARQ-ACK (Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest Acknowledgement) bit indicates whether the bit block (e.g., transport block) transmitted on the first physical channel has been correctly decoded.

[0349] As an example, the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is greater than a specific threshold, which is predefined or configurable.

[0350] As an example, (regardless of whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values or the second set of values), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0351] As an example, the above method ensures the transmission of the DMRS in the first physical channel, which is beneficial for channel estimation and demodulation.

[0352] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0353] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel, or the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0354] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0355] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel may not be mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0356] As an example, the following situation is undesirable in scheduling the first node:

[0357] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0358] As an example, the above method provides the possibility of avoiding channel estimation performance degradation caused by a mismatch between certain values of precoding granularity and reduced DMRS overhead (e.g., the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel).

[0359] As an example, the above method helps to reduce the complexity of system design.

[0360] As an example, a signaling message in this application can be sent from the second node to the first node.

[0361] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and whether the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel is determined according to the indication of the signaling sent by the second node to the first node.

[0362] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and whether the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel is determined according to the indication of the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel.

[0363] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel, and which / which resource blocks the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to is determined according to the signaling indication.

[0364] As an example, the first node determines the DMRS-to-resource mapping of the first physical channel according to the signaling instructions.

[0365] As an example, through technical specifications, the two communicating parties reach a consensus on the mapping of the DMRS to resources of the first physical channel.

[0366] As an example, for the first node, the mapping of the DMRS to resources of the first physical channel is an assumed mapping (the first node needs to perform reception of the DMRS of the first physical channel according to the assumed mapping).

[0367] As an example, the steps in the dashed box F1 are present.

[0368] As an example, the step in the dashed box F1 does not exist.

[0369] As an example, the steps in the dashed box F2 are present.

[0370] As an example, the step in dashed box F2 does not exist.

[0371] Example 6

[0372] Example 6 illustrates a schematic diagram showing the distribution of the DMRS of a first physical channel in a resource block allocated to the first physical channel according to an embodiment of this application, and the relationship between the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel and whether it belongs to a first value set or a second value set, as shown in Figure 6.

[0373] In Embodiment 6, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0374] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to...

[0375] Wherein, N is equal to the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel, and K is a positive integer greater than 1.

[0376] As an example, K is configured.

[0377] As an example, K is a higher-layer signaling configuration.

[0378] As an example, the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel indicates the K.

[0379] As an example, This indicates that N / K is rounded up.

[0380] As an example, Represents the smallest integer not less than N / K.

[0381] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values; when N is not greater than K: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block with the smallest index allocated to the first physical channel; when N is greater than K:

[0382] In the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from low to high according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0383] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values; when N is not greater than K: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block with the largest index allocated to the first physical channel; when N is greater than K:

[0384] In the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from high to low according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0385] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values; N is greater than K; in the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from low to high according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0386] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values; N is greater than K; in the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from high to low according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0387] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, meaning that at least a portion of the physical resources to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped are in this resource block.

[0388] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, meaning that the resource block does not include the physical resources to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0389] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, meaning that at least a portion of the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the frequency domain resources included in this resource block.

[0390] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, meaning that any part of the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to the frequency domain resources included in this resource block.

[0391] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to a resource block, meaning that the resource block includes the subcarriers corresponding to at least one resource unit to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0392] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to a resource block, meaning that the resource block does not include the subcarriers corresponding to the resource units to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0393] Example 7

[0394] Example 7 illustrates a schematic diagram showing the distribution of the DMRS of a first physical channel in a resource block allocated to the first physical channel according to an embodiment of this application, and the relationship between the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel and whether it belongs to a first value set or a second value set, as shown in Figure 7.

[0395] In embodiment 7, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0396] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0397] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... Wherein, N is equal to the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel, and K is a positive integer greater than 1.

[0398] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0399] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel, or the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped is equal to... Wherein, N is equal to the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel, and K is a positive integer greater than 1.

[0400] As an example, K is configured.

[0401] As an example, K is a higher-layer signaling configuration.

[0402] As an example, the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel indicates the K.

[0403] As an example, This indicates that N / K is rounded up.

[0404] As an example, Represents the smallest integer not less than N / K.

[0405] As an example, the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is not less than (or greater than) a specific threshold, which is predefined or configurable.

[0406] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... The DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to which / which resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, as indicated by the signaling.

[0407] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... When N is not greater than K: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block with the smallest index allocated to the first physical channel; when N is greater than K:

[0409] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... When N is not greater than K: the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block with the largest index allocated to the first physical channel; when N is greater than K:

[0410] In the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from high to low according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0411] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... [0412] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel and mapped to by the DMRS of the first physical channel is equal to... The N is greater than the K; among the N resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel (these N resource blocks are sorted from high to low according to their frequency domain position, and the sorting numbers are recorded as 0, 1, ..., N-1), the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to the resource block whose sorting number is a non-negative integer multiple of K (including 0).

[0413] Example 8

[0414] Example 8 illustrates a schematic diagram of the DMRS mapping of a first physical channel to a resource block according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 8. In Figure 8, each small box represents a RE (a time slot includes 14 OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) symbols, and a resource block includes 12 subcarriers), and each small box filled with diagonal lines represents an RE to which the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped.

[0415] The mapping method of the DMRS of the first physical channel to a resource block illustrated in Figure 8 is non-limiting.

[0416] As an example, within a resource block, the mapping method of the DMRS to physical resources of the first physical channel can be a portion of a mapping method used in a resource block of either DMRS configuration type 1 or DMRS configuration type 2 defined in 5GNR, or it can be other mapping methods determined according to signaling instructions.

[0417] Example 9

[0418] Example 9 illustrates a schematic diagram of the indication of a first signaling according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figure 9.

[0419] In Example 9, the first node receives a first signaling, and the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel depends on the indication of the first signaling.

[0420] As an example, the first signaling is physical layer signaling.

[0421] As an example, the first signaling is DCI (Downlink Control Information).

[0422] As an example, the first signaling includes at least one field in the DCI format.

[0423] As one embodiment, the first physical channel is scheduled by the first signaling.

[0424] As an example, the first signaling is the scheduling signaling of the first physical channel.

[0425] As one embodiment, the first signaling indicates the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel.

[0426] As an example, the first signaling indicates the sequence initial value of the DMRS of the first physical channel.

[0427] As an example, the first signaling indicates the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0428] As an example, the first signaling explicitly indicates the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0429] As an example, the first signaling implicitly indicates the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0430] As an example, the first signaling includes at least a PRB bundling size indicator field, which indicates the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0431] As an example, the first signaling includes 1 bit; when this bit in the first signaling is set to 0, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a first reference value; wherein, the first reference value is a value configured by higher-level parameters, and is a value in either the first set of values or the second set of values;

[0432] When this bit in the first signaling is set to 1:

[0433] If the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel are contiguous in the frequency domain and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is greater than Q / 2, then the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the second set of values; otherwise, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a value in the first set of values; wherein, Q is equal to the number of resource blocks included in the BWP (Bandwidth Part) used to transmit the first physical channel.

[0434] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment, this bit in the first signaling is set to 1;

[0435] If the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel are contiguous in the frequency domain and the number of resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is greater than Q / 2, then the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel indicates the same as the scheduled bandwidth; otherwise, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a second reference value; wherein the second reference value is configured by higher-level parameters and belongs to the first set of values.

[0436] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, and the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is a numerical value; a plurality of resource block groups depend on the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel, and the size of each resource block group in the plurality of resource block groups is not greater than the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0437] As one embodiment, one of the multiple resource block groups may include only one resource block, or may include multiple resource blocks that are consecutive in the frequency domain.

[0438] As an example, each of the plurality of resource block groups is configured.

[0439] As an example, the size of at least one of the plurality of resource block groups is equal to the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0440] As an example, the size of each of the plurality of resource block groups is equal to the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0441] Example 10

[0442] Example 10 illustrates a schematic diagram of multiple resource block groups according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 10. In Figure 10, each rectangle represents a resource block, and there are a total of Q resource blocks; the Q resource blocks are divided into T resource block groups, resource block group #0 includes 2 resource blocks, resource block group #(T-1) includes 3 resource blocks, and the remaining resource block groups include 4 resource blocks.

[0443] As an example, the same resource block group in this application is one of the T resource block groups.

[0444] As an example, the size of the starting resource block group in a plurality of resource block groups (e.g., in Figure 10, resource block group #0 is the starting resource block group in the T resource block groups) is equal to P0 - (N start modP0);

[0445] When (N) start When +Q)mod P0 is not equal to 0, the size of the last resource block group among the plurality of resource block groups (e.g., in Figure 10, resource block group #(T-1) is the last resource block group among the T resource block groups) is (N start +Q)modP0; when (N)modP0; start When +Q)modP0 equals 0, the size of the last resource block group in the plurality of resource block groups is equal to P0;

[0446] The size of the remaining resource block groups in the plurality of resource block groups is equal to P0;

[0447] Wherein, P0 is the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel (e.g., in Figure 10, P0 equals 4).

[0448] As an example, Q resource blocks are configured for the first node.

[0449] As an example, each resource block allocated to the first physical channel is one of the Q resource blocks.

[0450] As an example, the Q resource blocks constitute a BWP.

[0451] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment, the first physical channel is transmitted on this BWP.

[0452] As an example, the Q resource blocks are contiguous in the frequency domain.

[0453] As an example, the Q resource blocks are not completely contiguous in the frequency domain.

[0454] As an example, in Figure 10, the Q resource blocks have their frequency domain positions increasing sequentially, starting from resource block 0.

[0455] As an example, from the frequency domain perspective, the resource blocks included in a resource block group are consecutive among the Q resource blocks.

[0456] As an example, the N start It is 0.

[0457] As an example, the N start It's configured.

[0458] As an example, the N start It is the starting position of the BWP composed of the Q resource blocks.

[0459] As an example, the N start This is equal to the number of resource blocks whose starting positions (such as resource block 0 in Figure 10) are offset relative to a reference position, and the Q resource blocks are continuous in the frequency domain.

[0460] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the reference position is predefined.

[0461] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the reference position is configurable.

[0462] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the reference location is common resource block 0.

[0463] As an example, the size of a resource block group represents the number of resource blocks included in the resource block group.

[0464] As one example, each resource block allocated to the first physical channel is in a resource block group.

[0465] As an example, the same resource block group in this application can be any of the plurality of resource block groups that includes at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0466] As one embodiment, for a group of resource blocks including at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel, all or only some of the resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel.

[0467] Example 11

[0468] Example 11 illustrates a structural block diagram of a processing apparatus for a first node according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figure 11. In Figure 11, the processing apparatus A00 in the first node includes a first receiver A01 and a first transmitter A02.

[0469] As one example, the first node is a terminal.

[0470] As one example, the first node is a user equipment in a 5G or 6G network.

[0471] As an example, the first receiver A01 includes at least one of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, receiver 454, multi-antenna receiving processor 458, receiving processor 456, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0472] As an example, the first receiver A01 includes at least the first five of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, receiver 454, multi-antenna receiver processor 458, receiver processor 456, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0473] As one embodiment, the first receiver A01 includes at least the first four of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, receiver 454, multi-antenna receiving processor 458, receiving processor 456, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0474] As one embodiment, the first receiver A01 includes at least the first three of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, receiver 454, multi-antenna receiving processor 458, receiving processor 456, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0475] As one embodiment, the first receiver A01 includes at least two of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, receiver 454, multi-antenna receiving processor 458, receiving processor 456, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0476] As an example, the first transmitter A02 includes at least one of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, transmitter 454, multi-antenna transmission processor 457, transmission processor 468, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0477] As an example, the first transmitter A02 includes at least the first five of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, transmitter 454, multi-antenna transmission processor 457, transmission processor 468, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0478] As an example, the first transmitter A02 includes at least the first four of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, transmitter 454, multi-antenna transmission processor 457, transmission processor 468, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0479] As an example, the first transmitter A02 includes at least three of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, transmitter 454, multi-antenna transmission processor 457, transmission processor 468, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0480] As one embodiment, the first transmitter A02 includes at least two of the following in Figure 4 of this application: antenna 452, transmitter 454, multi-antenna transmission processor 457, transmission processor 468, controller / processor 459, memory 460, and data source 467.

[0481] As an example, the first receiver A01 receives a first physical channel and the DMRS of the first physical channel; the candidate values of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel include values in a first set of values and values in a second set of values, the first set of values and the second set of values being mutually exclusive; the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for the consistency of precoding;

[0482] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set.

[0483] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0484] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0485] As one embodiment, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0486] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0487] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0488] As one embodiment, the first set of values includes at least one of 2 and 4, and the second set of values includes wideband.

[0489] As one embodiment, the first receiver A01 receives a first signaling; wherein the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel depends on the indication of the first signaling.

[0490] As an example, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values; a plurality of resource block groups depend on the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel, and the size of each of the plurality of resource block groups is not greater than the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0491] As an example, the first node assumes that the same precoding is applied to all resource blocks in the same resource block group allocated to the first physical channel.

[0492] As an example, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0493] As an example, the first transmitter A02 sends a HARQ-ACK bit; the HARQ-ACK bit indicates whether a block of bits (e.g., a transport block) transmitted on the first physical channel has been correctly decoded.

[0494] As one embodiment, the first receiver A01 receives a first signaling, a first physical channel, and a DMRS of the first physical channel, wherein the first physical channel is a PDSCH; the first physical channel is scheduled by the first signaling, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel; the candidate values for the precoding granularity of the first physical channel include values in a first set of values and values in a second set of values, the first set of values and the second set of values are mutually exclusive, the first set of values includes at least one of 2 and 4, and the second set of values includes wideband; the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency;

[0495] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set; the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel depends on the indication of the first signaling.

[0496] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0497] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0498] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or...

[0499] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0500] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0501] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment (this sub-implementation can be combined with the other two sub-implementations), when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set: multiple resource block groups depend on the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel, and the size of each resource block group in the multiple resource block groups is not greater than the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel.

[0518] As one embodiment, the second transmitter B01 transmits a first physical channel and the DMRS of the first physical channel; the candidate values of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel include values in a first set of values and values in a second set of values, the first set of values and the second set of values being mutually exclusive; the precoding granularity of the first physical channel is defined for precoding consistency;

[0519] In this process, multiple resource blocks are allocated to the first physical channel, and each resource block includes frequency domain resources; the distribution of the DMRS of the first physical channel in the resource blocks allocated to the first physical channel is related to whether the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first value set or the second value set.

[0520] As an example, when the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel;

[0521] When the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, the DMRS of the first physical channel is not mapped to at least one resource block allocated to the first physical channel.

[0522] As one embodiment, the value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the first set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0523] The value of the precoding granularity of the first physical channel belongs to the second set of values, and the DMRS of the first physical channel is mapped to each resource block allocated to the first physical channel; or,

[0531] Example 13

[0532] Example 13 illustrates a flowchart of communication of a first node according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 13.

[0533] The first node 100A sends the first CSI report in step 101A.

[0534] In Example 13, the priority value of the first CSI report depends on the first cell index and has a linear relationship with the first frequency block group index; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs. The frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0535] As an example, the first CSI report is used to report CSI.

[0536] As an example, the first CSI report includes at least one of RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power), SINR (Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio), RI (Rank Indicator), CQI (Channel Quality Indicator), and PMI (Precoding Matrix Indicator).

[0537] As an example, the first CSI report is transmitted via the physical uplink channel.

[0538] As an example, the coded bits of the first CSI report are scrambled and then modulated to generate modulation symbols which are mapped to time-frequency resources allocated to the corresponding physical uplink channels for transmission.

[0539] As an example, the first CSI report is transmitted via PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) or PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel).

[0540] As an example, the priority value of the first CSI report is a value that indicates the priority of the first CSI report.

[0541] As an example, CSI reports with lower priority values have higher priority.

[0542] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment, there is a conflict between the first CSI report and the second CSI report, and the priority value of the first CSI report is lower than the priority value of the second CSI report; the first node abandons sending the second CSI report.

[0543] As an example, CSI reports with higher priority values have higher priority.

[0544] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiment, there is a conflict between the first CSI report and the second CSI report, and the priority value of the first CSI report is greater than the priority value of the second CSI report; the first node abandons sending the second CSI report.

[0545] As an example, when the physical channel carrying one CSI report overlaps with the physical channel carrying another CSI report in the time domain and is on the same cell, there is a conflict between the two CSI reports.

[0546] As one embodiment, the priority value of the first CSI report depends on the first cell index, including: the priority value of the first CSI report and the first cell index have a linear relationship.

[0547] As one embodiment, the priority value reported by the first CSI depends on the first cell index, including:

[0548] The first frequency block group index is an index determined by sorting all frequency block groups included in multiple cells, and the multiple cells include the cell corresponding to the first cell index; the determination of the first frequency block group index depends on the first cell index.

[0549] As one embodiment, the priority value reported by the first CSI report has a linear relationship with the index of the first frequency block group, including:

[0550] The priority value of the first CSI report is equal to the sum of a plurality of components; the plurality of components includes at least a first component, which is equal to p0 multiplied by the first frequency block group index; wherein p0 is a constant greater than 0 or determined according to a parameter.

[0551] As an example, p0 is greater than 0.

[0552] As an example, p0 is a constant (it can be 1 or not 1).

[0553] As an example, p0 is a value indicated by a parameter.

[0554] As an example, p0 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p0 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0555] As an example, the priority value in the first CSI report has a linear relationship with the first cell index.

[0556] As an example, the priority value of the first CSI report is equal to the sum of multiple components; the multiple components include at least a first component and a second component, the first component is equal to p0 multiplied by the first frequency block group index, and the second component is equal to p1 multiplied by the first cell index; wherein p0 is a constant greater than 0 or determined by a parameter, and p1 is a constant greater than 0 or determined by a parameter.

[0557] As an example, p1 is greater than 0.

[0558] As an example, p1 is a constant (it can be 1 or not 1).

[0559] As an example, p1 is a value indicated by a parameter.

[0560] As an example, p1 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p1 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0561] As an example, the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index have different frequency block group indices.

[0562] As an example, each frequency block group mentioned in this application includes only one frequency block (in this case, each frequency block group can be considered as one frequency block).

[0563] As an example, a frequency block group may include only one frequency block or multiple frequency blocks.

[0564] As an example, all frequency blocks in a frequency block group are frequency blocks included in the same cell.

[0565] As an example, a frequency block is configurable.

[0566] As an example, a frequency block comprises contiguous frequency domain resources.

[0567] As an example, a frequency block includes at least a portion of the frequency band on a carrier.

[0568] As an example, a frequency block can be a carrier wave, or a portion of a frequency band on a carrier wave.

[0569] As an example, a frequency block includes multiple RBs (Resource Blocks).

[0570] As an example, a frequency block is a BWP (Bandwidth Part), or a portion of a BWP.

[0571] As an example, the advantages of the above method include: it can reuse existing 3GPP BWP definitions or enhance existing 3GPP BWP definitions, reducing the standardization workload.

[0572] As an example, one or more cells are configured for the first node.

[0573] As an example, the cell corresponding to the first cell index is configured to the first node.

[0574] As an example, the first cell index is configured for the corresponding cell.

[0575] As an example, a cell is a serving cell.

[0576] As an example, a cell includes a frequency block group, and the cell is the cell to which the frequency block group belongs.

[0577] As an example, a cell includes a frequency block group, which means that each frequency block in the frequency block group is a frequency block included in the cell.

[0578] As an example, a cell includes a frequency block group, which means that each frequency block in this frequency block group is assigned to this cell.

[0579] As an example, a cell includes a frequency block group, which means the following: the configuration information of this cell includes the configuration information of each frequency block in this frequency block group.

[0580] As an example, a cell includes at least one frequency block.

[0581] As an example, a frequency block included in a cell is a frequency block that is configured for that cell.

[0582] As an example, a frequency block included in a cell is a frequency block allocated to a carrier of that cell.

[0583] As an example, the configuration information of a cell includes the configuration information of each frequency block included in the cell.

[0584] As an example, a cell can be configured with one carrier or multiple carriers.

[0585] As an example, different frequency blocks included in a cell are on different carriers (in particular, a frequency block can be a carrier; in this case, the frequency block is considered to be on this carrier).

[0586] As an example, a cell includes at least one frequency block group, and the frequency block group included in a cell is configurable.

[0587] As one embodiment, the frequency block groups included in a cell are configurable, including: the number of frequency block groups included in a cell is configurable.

[0588] As an example, a frequency block group may include which frequency blocks of the cell to which it belongs, which is configurable.

[0589] As an example, the first cell index is an index of the cells that configure the configuration parameters of the first CSI report.

[0590] As an example, the transmission of the first CSI report depends on the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0591] As an example, the first frequency block group index is the index of the frequency block group that configures the configuration parameters of the first CSI report.

[0592] As an example, the first CSI report is configured to be transmitted on the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0593] As an example, the first CSI report is configured to be transmitted over a physical uplink channel, and the frequency domain allocation of this physical uplink channel is a subset of the frequency domain resources included in the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0594] Example 14

Figure 14 illustrates the system architecture of 5G NR (New Radio), LTE (Long-Term Evolution), and LTE-A (Long-Term Evolution Advanced). The 5G NR or LTE network architecture 200A may be referred to as 5GS (5G System) / EPS (Evolved Packet System) or some other suitable term. EPS may interconnect with other access networks, but these entities / interfaces are not shown for simplicity. As shown in the figure, EPS provides packet switching services; however, those skilled in the art will readily understand that the various concepts presented throughout this application can be extended to networks or other cellular networks that provide circuit-switched services. NG-RAN includes NR Node B (gNB) 203A and other gNBs 204A. gNB 203A provides user and control plane protocol termination toward UE 201A. gNB 203A can connect to other gNBs 204A via Xn interfaces (e.g., backhaul). gNB 203A may also be referred to as a base station, base transceiver station, radio base station, radio transceiver, transceiver function, Basic Services Set (BSS), Extended Services Set (ESS), TRP, or some other suitable term. gNB 203A provides UE 201A with an access point to EPC / 5G-CN 210A. Examples of UE201A include cellular phones, smartphones, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phones, laptops, personal digital assistants (PDAs), satellite radios, non-terrestrial base station communications, satellite mobile communications, global positioning systems, multimedia devices, video devices, digital audio players (e.g., MP3 players), cameras, game consoles, drones, aircraft, narrowband IoT devices, machine-type communication devices, land vehicles, automobiles, wearable devices, or any other similar functional devices.Those skilled in the art may also refer to UE201A as a mobile station, subscriber station, mobile unit, subscriber unit, radio unit, remote unit, mobile device, radio device, wireless communication device, remote device, mobile subscriber station, access terminal, mobile terminal, radio terminal, remote terminal, handheld device, user agent, mobile client, client, or any other suitable term. gNB203A connects to EPC / 5G-CN 210A via the S1 / NG interface. [0607] Example 15

[0608] Example 15 illustrates a schematic diagram of an embodiment of a wireless protocol architecture for a user plane and control plane according to this application, as shown in Figure 15. Figure 15 is a schematic diagram illustrating an embodiment of a radio protocol architecture for a user plane 350A and a control plane 300A. Figure 15 shows the radio protocol architecture for the control plane 300A of a user node device (UE or RSU in V2X, onboard equipment or onboard communication module) and a network node device (gNB, UE or RSU in V2X, onboard equipment or onboard communication module), or between two UEs, using three layers: Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3. Layer 1 (L1 layer) is the lowest layer and implements various PHY (physical layer) signal processing functions. The L1 layer will be referred to herein as PHY301A. Layer 2 (L2 layer) 305A is above PHY301A and is responsible for the link between the user node device and the network node device, as well as between two UEs, through PHY301A. Layer 305A (L2) comprises the MAC (Medium Access Control) sublayer 302A, the RLC (Radio Link Control) sublayer 303A, and the PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) sublayer 304A, which terminate at network node devices. The PDCP sublayer 304A provides data encryption and integrity protection, and also supports inter-cell mobility between user nodes and network nodes. The RLC sublayer 303A provides packet segmentation and reassembly, implements retransmission of lost packets via ARQ, and also provides duplicate packet detection and protocol error detection. The MAC sublayer 302A provides mapping between logical and transport channels and multiplexing of logical channels. The MAC sublayer 302A is also responsible for allocating various radio resources (e.g., resource blocks) within a cell among user nodes. The MAC sublayer 302A is also responsible for HARQ operations. In the control plane 300A, the Radio Resource Control (RRC) sublayer 306A in Layer 3 (L3) is responsible for acquiring radio resources (i.e., radio bearers) and configuring the lower layers using RRC signaling between network node devices and user node devices. The user plane 350A's radio protocol architecture includes Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2). The radio protocol architecture for user node devices and network node devices in the user plane 350A is largely the same as the corresponding layers and sublayers in the control plane 300A for the physical layer 350A, the PDCP sublayer 354A in L2 layer 355A, the RLC sublayer 353A in L2 layer 355A, and the MAC sublayer 352A in L2 layer 355A. However, the PDCP sublayer 354A also provides header compression for upper layer data packets to reduce radio transmission overhead.The L2 layer 355A in the user plane 350A also includes an SDAP (Service Data Adaptation Protocol) sublayer 356A. The SDAP sublayer 356A is responsible for mapping between QoS flows and Data Radio Bearers (DRBs) to support service diversity. Although not illustrated, the user node equipment may have several upper layers above the L2 layer 355A, including a network layer (e.g., IP layer) terminating at the P-GW on the network side and an application layer terminating at the other end of the connection (e.g., a remote UE, server, etc.).

[0609] As an example, the wireless protocol architecture in Figure 15 is applicable to the first node in this application.

[0610] As an example, the wireless protocol architecture in Figure 15 is applicable to the second node in this application.

[0611] As an example, the first node and the second node in this application are the user node device and the network node device in Example 15, respectively.

[0612] As an example, the first signaling in this application is generated in the PHY301A.

[0613] As an example, the first signaling in this application is generated in the MAC sublayer 302A.

[0614] As an example, the first signaling in this application is generated in the RRC sublayer 306A.

[0615] As an example, the higher layer mentioned in this application refers to the layer above the physical layer.

[0616] Example 16

[0617] Example 16 illustrates a transmission flowchart between a first node and a second node according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 16. Specifically, the steps in the dashed box F1A are optional.

[0618] The first node U1A receives the first signaling in step S510A and sends the first CSI report in step S511A.

[0619] The second node U2A sends the first signaling in step S520A and receives the first CSI report in step S521A.

[0620] In Example 16, the priority value of the first CSI report depends on the first cell index and has a linear relationship with the first frequency block group index; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency block groups, and a frequency block group includes at least one frequency block included in the cell to which it belongs; the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is one of the multiple frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index.

[0621] The priority value of the first CSI report has a linear relationship with the ID configured for the first CSI report;

[0622] The first signaling instruction is to send the first CSI report on the uplink channel; the first cell index is the index of the cell that configures the configuration parameters of the first CSI report, and the transmission of the first CSI report depends on the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0623] As a sub-example of Example 16, the priority value of the first CSI report is equal to the sum of multiple components; the multiple components include at least a first component and a second component, the first component being equal to a positive integer multiple of the first frequency block group index, and the second component being equal to a positive integer multiple of the first cell index.

[0624] As a sub-implementation of Embodiment 16, the first frequency block group index is an index determined by sorting all frequency block groups included in multiple cells, wherein the multiple cells include the cell corresponding to the first cell index; the determination of the first frequency block group index depends on the first cell index.

[0625] As a sub-implementation of Embodiment 16, the priority value of the first CSI report is equal to the sum of multiple components; the multiple components include at least a first component and a second component, the first component is equal to a positive integer multiple of the first frequency block group index, and the second component is equal to a positive integer multiple of the first cell index; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency blocks, and the different frequency blocks included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index are on different carriers; the smaller the priority value of the CSI report, the higher the priority.

[0626] As a sub-implementation of Embodiment 16, the first frequency block group index is an index determined by sorting all frequency block groups included in multiple cells, wherein the multiple cells include the cell corresponding to the first cell index; the determination of the first frequency block group index depends on the first cell index; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes multiple frequency blocks, and the different frequency blocks included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index are on different carriers; the smaller the priority value of the CSI report, the higher the priority.

[0627] As an example, the first node U1A is the first node in this application.

[0628] As an example, the second node U2A is the second node in this application.

[0629] As an example, the first node U1A is a UE.

[0630] As an example, the second node U2A is a base station.

[0631] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2A and the first node U1A is the Uu interface.

[0632] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2A and the first node U1A includes a cellular link.

[0633] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2A and the first node U1A includes a wireless interface between the base station equipment and the user equipment.

[0634] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2A and the first node U1A includes a wireless interface between satellite equipment and user equipment.

[0635] As one embodiment, the air interface between the second node U2A and the first node U1A includes a wireless interface between the relay device and the user equipment.

[0636] As an example, the steps in the dashed box F1A are present.

[0637] As an example, the step in the dashed box F1A does not exist.

[0638] As an example, when multiple CSI reports need to be reported through a given transmission resource but the given transmission resource is insufficient to carry all the contents of the multiple CSI reports, the first node prioritizes sending the CSI report with higher priority among the multiple CSI reports.

[0639] As an example, a CSI report may include a first part of CSI (CSI part 1) and a second part of CSI (CSI part 2).

[0640] As an example, if there are Q CSI reports that need to be reported using a given transmission resource, but the given transmission resource is insufficient to carry all the contents of the Q CSI reports, the first node needs to abandon the transmission of the second part of the CSI in some of the CSI reports;

[0641] According to the following description of the levels, starting from level 2Q (in reverse order), the corresponding parts are skipped level by level (the skipped parts are not sent) until the given transmission resources are sufficient to carry the remaining unskipped parts of the Q CSI reports;

[0642] Level 1: Even-numbered portions of subband CSIs in Part 2 of CSI report #1;

[0643] Level 2: The odd-numbered portion of the subband CSI in Part 2 of CSI report #1;

[0644] Level 3: Even-numbered portions of subband CSI within Part 2 of CSI report #2;

[0645] Level 4: Odd-numbered portions of subband CSIs in Part 2 of CSI report #2;

[0646] ...

[0647] Level 2Q-1: The even-numbered portion of the CSI subband in the second part of the CSI report #Q;

[0648] Level 2Q: The odd-numbered portion of the subband CSI in the second part of the CSI report #Q;

[0649] Among them, CSI report #t has a higher priority than CSI report #t+1 (where t can be any value from 1 to Q-1).

[0650] Without loss of generality, the above example assumes that each of the Q CSI reports includes the second part of the CSI. However, there may also be CSI reports that do not include the second part of the CSI. In such cases, the corresponding level in the above description can be removed and a similar step-by-step skipping method can be adopted.

[0651] As one example, the given transmission resources include allocated time-frequency resources.

[0652] As an example, the given transmission resource may be a PUSCH.

[0653] As an example, the given transport resource is also used for the transport of transport blocks.

[0654] As an example, if the multiplication of the number of REs included in the given transmission resource, the configured modulation order, and the configured code rate is not less than the total number of bits of the target information and the corresponding CRC (if a CRC exists), then the given transmission resource is considered sufficient to carry the target information; otherwise, the given transmission resource is considered insufficient to carry the target information.

[0655] The above description applies to the following two situations:

[0656] 1) The target information is the Q CSI reports; and,

[0657] 2) The target information is the remaining, un-omitted portion of the Q CSI reports.

[0658] As one example, the given transmission resource is PUSCH; when Less than or equal to If the given transmission resources are sufficient to carry the target information, then the given transmission resources are considered sufficient to carry the target information; otherwise, the given transmission resources are considered insufficient to carry the target information.

[0659] Wherein, the L CSI-2 This refers to the number of CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) bits in the second part of the CSI. (Indicated by the beta_offset indicator field in the scheduling signaling of the given transmission resource), the Q' CSI-1 It is the number of coded modulation symbols per layer of the first part of CSI transmitted in the given transmission resource, where Q'ACK / CG-UCI = 0, and C UL-SCH K is the number of codeblocks transmitted via the given transmission resources in the UL-SCH (Uplink Shared Channel). r The size of the r-th code block of the UL-SCH transmitted through the given transmission resources is the size of the r-th code block. This refers to the number of REs that can be used to transmit UCI (Uplink Control Information) in OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbol 1. It is the total number of OFDM symbols in the given transmission resource (including all OFDM symbols used for DM-RS), where α is a parameter configuration;

[0660] The above description applies to the following two situations:

[0661] 3) The O CSI-2 The target information is the total number of bits of all the second-part CSIs included in the Q CSI reports; and,

[0662] 4) The O CSI-2 It is the total number of bits belonging to the second part of CSI in the remaining unskipped portion of the Q CSI reports, and the target information is the remaining unskipped portion of the Q CSI reports.

[0663] As an example, the communicating parties need to reach a consensus on how to determine the priority value of the CSI report.

[0664] As an example, the first signaling is physical layer signaling.

[0665] As an example, the first signaling is DCI (Downlink Control Information).

[0666] As an example, the first signaling includes at least one field in the DCI format.

[0667] As an example, the first signaling is higher-layer signaling.

[0668] As an example, the first signaling explicitly instructs the transmission of the first CSI report on the first channel.

[0669] As an example, the first signaling implicitly indicates that the first CSI report is sent on the first channel.

[0670] As an example, the first channel is a physical uplink channel.

[0671] As an example, the first channel is PUSCH.

[0672] As an example, the first channel is PUCCH.

[0673] As an example, the first signaling is transmitted on the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0674] As one embodiment, the frequency domain resources used to transmit the first signaling are a subset of the frequency domain resources included in the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0675] Example 17

[0676] Example 17 illustrates a schematic diagram of the priority value of a first CSI report according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 17.

[0677] In Example 17, the priority value of the first CSI report is equal to p3 multiplied by y plus p2 multiplied by k plus p1 multiplied by the first cell index plus p0 multiplied by the first frequency block group index plus s.

[0678] As an example, the first frequency block group index is configured.

[0679] As an example, the first frequency block group index is configured by higher-level parameters.

[0680] As an example, the first frequency block group index is configured to a frequency block group included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index, and the frequency block group included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index is the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index.

[0681] As an example, the first frequency block group index is an index determined by sorting all frequency block groups included in the cell corresponding to the first cell index according to a predefined sorting rule.

[0682] As a sub-implementation of the above embodiments, the predefined sorting rule may be: according to the frequency block group's starting position in the frequency domain, from low to high, the frequency block group index increases sequentially; or...

[0683] The predefined sorting rule could be: frequency block group indices decreasing sequentially from low to high frequency domain starting positions; or...

[0684] The predefined sorting rule can also be other sorting rules agreed upon in advance by the two communicating parties.

[0685] As an example, p3 is configurable.

[0686] As an example, p3 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0687] As an example, p3 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p3 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0688] As an example, p3 is equal to W multiplied by N. cell Multiply by N CCG Multiply by M s .

[0689] As an example, W is 2.

[0690] As an example, W is equal to the number of candidates for k.

[0691] As an example, the N cell It is predefined or configured, the N cell This equals the maximum number of service cells.

[0692] As an example, the N CCG It is predefined or configured, the N CCG It equals the maximum number of frequency block groups included in a cell.

[0693] As an example, the N CCG It is predefined or configured, the N CCG It equals the maximum number of frequency blocks included in a cell.

[0694] As an example, the M s It is predefined or configured, the M s This equals the maximum number of configurations for CSI reports.

[0695] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes several parameters for configuring the CSI report.

[0696] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes measurement configuration and corresponding reporting method.

[0697] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes: the number of measurements to be reported (e.g., how many measurement items need to be reported), the measurement object (e.g., the physical resources for downlink measurements), and the actual reporting method (e.g., which physical uplink channel carries the reporting).

[0698] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes at least a portion of the Information Element (IE) CSI-ReportConfig.

[0699] As an example, each candidate value of y depends on at least one of the time-domain characteristics of the CSI report and the type of the physical channel carrying the CSI report.

[0700] As an example, y is determined based on at least one of the time-domain characteristics of the first CSI report and the type of the physical channel carrying the first CSI report.

[0701] As an example, the candidate values for y include values representing CSI reports carried by PUSCH and values representing CSI reports carried by PUCCH.

[0702] As an example, the candidate values for y include values representing aperiodic CSI reports, values representing semi-persistent CSI reports, and values representing periodic CSI reports.

[0703] As an example, the candidate values of y include at least one of the following values:

[0704] This represents the aperiodic CSI report value for the PUSCH bearer, the semi-persistent CSI report value for the PUSCH bearer, the semi-persistent CSI report value for the PUCCH bearer, and the periodic CSI report value for the PUCCH bearer.

[0705] As an example, for aperiodic CSI reports of PUSCH bearers, y = 0; for semi-persistent CSI reports of PUSCH bearers, y = 1; for semi-persistent CSI reports of PUCCH bearers, y = 2; and for periodic CSI reports of PUCCH bearers, y = 3.

[0706] As an example, p2 is configurable.

[0707] As an example, p2 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0708] As an example, p2 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p2 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0709] As an example, p2 equals N cell Multiply by N CCG Multiply by M s .

[0710] As an example, each candidate value of k depends on the content of the CSI report.

[0711] As an example, k is determined based on the content of the first CSI report.

[0712] As an example, for CSI reports carrying the RSRP (L1-RSRP) or SINR (L1-SINR) of layer 1, k = 0; for CSI reports not carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, k = 1.

[0713] As an example, for a CSI report carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, k = 0; for a CSI report carrying CQI but not L1-RSRP and L1-SINR, k = 1; for a CSI report carrying neither L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, nor CQI, k = 2.

[0714] As an example, p1 is configurable.

[0715] As an example, p1 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0716] As an example, p1 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p1 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0717] As an example, p1 equals N CCG Multiply by M s .

[0718] As an example, p0 is configurable.

[0719] As an example, p0 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0720] As an example, p0 is M s .

[0721] As an example, s is the ID (identifier) configured for the first CSI report.

[0722] As an example, among the configuration parameters included in the configuration for the first CSI report, there is a configuration parameter that indicates the ID of the configuration for the first CSI report.

[0723] Example 18

[0724] Example 18 illustrates a schematic diagram of the priority value of a first CSI report according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 18.

[0725] In Example 18, the priority value of the first CSI report is equal to p5 multiplied by y plus p4 multiplied by k plus p0 multiplied by the first frequency block group index plus s.

[0726] In embodiment 18, the first frequency block group index is an index determined by sorting all frequency block groups included in multiple cells, and the multiple cells include the cell corresponding to the first cell index; the determination of the first frequency block group index depends on the first cell index.

[0727] As an example, the sorting rules for sorting all frequency block groups included in the multiple cells can be as follows: first, in ascending order of the index of the frequency block group within the same cell (each frequency block can be configured with an index within its own cell); second, in ascending order of the index of its own cell.

[0728] As a sub-example of the above embodiments, the sorting rule is illustrated below:

[0729] The plurality of cells include the cells corresponding to the first cell index and the cells corresponding to the second cell index, wherein the first cell index is greater than the second cell index; the cells corresponding to the first cell index include frequency block group #0 and frequency block group #1, wherein the intra-cell index of frequency block group #0 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #1; the cells corresponding to the second cell index include frequency block group #2 and frequency block group #3, wherein the intra-cell index of frequency block group #2 is greater than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #3;

[0730] Four indices (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3) correspond in ascending order to frequency block group #3, frequency block group #2, frequency block group #0, and frequency block group #1 (wherein, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is frequency block group #0, and the first frequency block group index is 2; or, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is frequency block group #1, and the first frequency block group index is 3).

[0731] As a sub-example of the above embodiments, the sorting rule is illustrated below:

[0732] The plurality of cells includes the cell corresponding to the first cell index, the cell corresponding to the second cell index, and the cell corresponding to the third cell index; the first cell index is greater than the second cell index, and the first cell index is less than the third cell index; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes frequency block group #0 and frequency block group #1, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #1 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #0; the cell corresponding to the second cell index includes frequency block group #2 (this is a case that needs special explanation; in this case, the cell corresponding to the second cell index includes only one frequency block group; for the cell corresponding to the second cell index, there is no ordering between frequency block groups within the cell); the cell corresponding to the third cell index includes frequency block group #3, frequency block group #4, and frequency block group #5, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #3 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #4, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #4 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #5;

[0733] The six indices (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) correspond in ascending order to the frequency block group #2, the frequency block group #1, the frequency block group #0, the frequency block group #3, the frequency block group #4, and the frequency block group #5 (wherein, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is the frequency block group #0, and the first frequency block group index is 2; or, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is the frequency block group #1, and the first frequency block group index is 1).

[0734] As an example, the sorting rules for sorting all frequency block groups included in the multiple cells can be as follows: first, in descending order of the index of the frequency block group within the same cell (each frequency block can be configured with an index within its own cell); second, in descending order of the index of its own cell.

[0735] As a sub-example of the above embodiments, the sorting rule is illustrated below:

[0736] The plurality of cells includes the cell corresponding to the first cell index, the cell corresponding to the second cell index, and the cell corresponding to the third cell index; the third cell index is greater than the second cell index and less than the first cell index; the cell corresponding to the third cell index includes frequency block group #0 and frequency block group #1, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #1 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #0; the cell corresponding to the second cell index includes frequency block group #2; the cell corresponding to the first cell index includes frequency block group #3, frequency block group #4, and frequency block group #5, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #3 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #4, and the intra-cell index of frequency block group #4 is less than the intra-cell index of frequency block group #5;

[0737] The six indices (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) correspond in ascending order to the frequency block group #5, the frequency block group #4, the frequency block group #3, the frequency block group #0, the frequency block group #1, and the frequency block group #2 (where the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is the frequency block group #3 and the first frequency block group index is 2; or, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is the frequency block group #4 and the first frequency block group index is 1; or, the frequency block group corresponding to the first frequency block group index is the frequency block group #5 and the first frequency block group index is 0).

[0738] As an example, the sorting rule followed when sorting all frequency block groups included in the plurality of cells can also be:

[0739] First, sort by the index of the frequency block group within the same cell in ascending order (each frequency block can be configured with an index within its own cell); second, sort by the index of the cell to which it belongs in descending order.

[0740] Alternatively, it could be:

[0741] First, sort by the index of the frequency block group within the same cell in descending order (each frequency block can be configured with an index within its own cell); second, sort by the index of the cell to which it belongs in ascending order.

[0742] As an example, p5 is configurable.

[0743] As an example, p5 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0744] As an example, p5 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p5 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0745] As an example, p5 is equal to W multiplied by N. totalCCG Multiply by M s .

[0746] As an example, W is 2.

[0747] As an example, W is equal to the number of candidates for k.

[0748] As an example, the N totalCCG It is predefined or configured, the N cell It equals the maximum number of all frequency block groups included in all cells.

[0749] As an example, the N totalCCG It is predefined or configured, the N cell It equals the maximum number of all frequency blocks included in all cells.

[0750] As an example, the N totalCCG equals N cell Multiply by N CCG .

[0751] As an example, the N cell It is predefined or configured, the N cell This equals the maximum number of service cells.

[0752] As an example, the N CCG It is predefined or configured, the N CCG It equals the maximum number of frequency block groups included in a cell.

[0753] As an example, the N CCG It is predefined or configured, the N CCG It equals the maximum number of frequency blocks included in a cell.

[0754] As an example, the M s It is predefined or configured, the M s This equals the maximum number of configurations for CSI reports.

[0755] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes several parameters for configuring the CSI report.

[0756] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes measurement configuration and corresponding reporting method.

[0757] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes: the number of measurements to be reported (e.g., how many measurement items need to be reported), the measurement object (e.g., the physical resources for downlink measurements), and the actual reporting method (e.g., which physical uplink channel carries the reporting).

[0758] As an example, a configuration for a CSI report includes at least a portion of the information element CSI-ReportConfig.

[0759] As an example, each candidate value of y depends on at least one of the time-domain characteristics of the CSI report and the type of the physical channel carrying the CSI report.

[0760] As an example, y is determined based on at least one of the time-domain characteristics of the first CSI report and the type of the physical channel carrying the first CSI report.

[0761] As an example, the candidate values for y include values representing CSI reports carried by PUSCH and values representing CSI reports carried by PUCCH.

[0762] As an example, the candidate values for y include values representing aperiodic CSI reports, values representing semi-persistent CSI reports, and values representing periodic CSI reports.

[0763] As an example, the candidate values of y include at least one of the following values:

[0764] This represents the aperiodic CSI report value for the PUSCH bearer, the semi-persistent CSI report value for the PUSCH bearer, the semi-persistent CSI report value for the PUCCH bearer, and the periodic CSI report value for the PUCCH bearer.

[0765] As an example, for aperiodic CSI reports of PUSCH bearers, y = 0; for semi-persistent CSI reports of PUSCH bearers, y = 1; for semi-persistent CSI reports of PUCCH bearers, y = 2; and for periodic CSI reports of PUCCH bearers, y = 3.

[0766] As an example, p4 is configurable.

[0767] As an example, p4 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0768] As an example, p4 is the product of multiple factors (each of the multiple factors corresponding to p4 is either a constant greater than 0 or a value indicated by a parameter).

[0769] As an example, p4 equals N totalCCG Multiply by M s .

[0770] As an example, each candidate value of k depends on the content of the CSI report.

[0771] As an example, k is determined based on the content of the first CSI report.

[0772] As an example, for CSI reports carrying the RSRP (L1-RSRP) or SINR (L1-SINR) of layer 1, k = 0; for CSI reports not carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, k = 1.

[0773] As an example, for a CSI report carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, k = 0; for a CSI report carrying CQI but not L1-RSRP and L1-SINR, k = 1; for a CSI report carrying neither L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, nor CQI, k = 2.

[0774] As an example, p0 is configurable.

[0775] As an example, p0 is determined based on higher-level parameters.

[0776] As an example, p0 is M s .

[0777] As an example, s is the ID configured for the first CSI report.

[0778] As an example, among the configuration parameters included in the configuration for the first CSI report, there is a configuration parameter that indicates the ID of the configuration for the first CSI report.

[0779] Example 19

[0780] Example 19 illustrates a schematic diagram of CSI reporting according to an embodiment of this application, as shown in Figure 19.

[0781] In Example 19, J (where J is a positive integer, which can be equal to or greater than 1) transmission resources are allocated to the first node. These J transmission resources are indexed in ascending order (from 0 to J-1) based on the product of the configured number of Resource Elements (REs), the modulation order, and the configured code rate. The first node uses one of these J transmission resources to transmit at least a portion of multiple CSI reports in the following manner:

[0782] When O CSI +O CRC ≤M RE,0 ×Q m,0 When ×r00, the first node uses transmission resource 0 to send the plurality of CSI reports;

[0783] When O CSI +O CRC >M RE,i ×Q m,i ×r0 i And O CSI +O CRC ≤M RE,i+1 ×Q m,i+1 ×r0 i+1 At that time, the first node uses transmission resource i+1 to send the plurality of CSI reports; (0≤i≤J-1; when J equals 1, this branch does not exist)

[0784] When O CSI +O CRC >M RE,J-1 ×Q m,J-1 ×r0 J-1 At that time, the first node uses transmission resource J-1 to send the X highest priority CSI reports from the plurality of CSI reports (where X satisfies: the sum of the total number of bits included in the X highest priority CSI reports and the total number of corresponding CRC bits does not exceed M). RE,J-1 ×Q m,J-1 ×r0 J-1 Furthermore, the sum of the total number of bits included in the X+1 highest priority CSI reports and the total number of corresponding CRC bits exceeds M. RE,J-1 ×Q m,J-1 ×r0 J-1 );

[0785] Wherein, the O CSI This indicates the total number of bits included in the plurality of CSI reports, the O CRC M represents the total number of CRC bits for the multiple CSI reports. RE,iQ is equal to the number of REs available for transmitting CSI in transmission resource i. m,i The r0 represents the modulation order configured for transmission resource i. i This represents the bitrate configured for transmission resource i.

[0786] As an example, a CSI report includes a first part CSI and a second part CSI; the number of bits included in the CSI report is equal to the sum of the number of bits in the first part CSI and the number of bits in the second part CSI included in the CSI report, and the CRC bits for the CSI report include: CRC bits added to the first part CSI included in the CSI report (if added) and CRC bits added to the second part CSI included in the CSI report (if added).

[0787] As an example, a CSI report may not be split into multiple parts (a first part of CSI and a second part of CSI), or it may only include a first part of CSI.

[0788] As an example, a transport resource is configured for transporting UCI.

[0789] As an example, a transport resource is a PUCCH resource.

[0790] As an example, the number of REs available for transmitting CSI in a transport resource is configurable.

[0791] As an example, the number of REs available for transmitting CSI in transmission resource i is equal to M. RB,i ×N sc,i ×N symb,i ; wherein, the M RB,i N is the number of RBs configured for the transmission resource i. sc,i The number of subcarriers in each RB of the transmission resource i, excluding the subcarriers used for transmitting the DM-RS (Demodulation Reference Signal), is equal to the number of subcarriers in N. symb,i This is equal to the number of OFDM symbols allocated to the transmission resource i, excluding the OFDM symbols used for DM-RS transmission.

[0792] As an example, the multiple CSI reports overlap in the time domain.
