Detailed Implementation

[0051] The technical solutions of the embodiments of this application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of this application, and not all of them. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of this application without creative effort are within the scope of protection of this application.

[0052] As shown in Figures 1 to 13, this application embodiment provides a heat exchanger 100, including multiple heat exchanger cores 10 connected together. Preferably, the multiple heat exchanger cores 10 are connected end-to-end in sequence. In other embodiments, the multiple heat exchanger cores 10 can also be connected in parallel or in other connection methods. One heat exchanger core 10 at one end serves as the inlet heat exchanger core 10, and the other heat exchanger core 10 at the other end serves as the outlet heat exchanger 100. The fluid flows sequentially through the interior of the multiple heat exchanger cores 10 through internal circulation, thereby achieving heat exchange with the external fluid. For example, the internal fluid is a refrigerant, and the external fluid is air. The following explanation uses refrigerant and air as examples.

[0053] The number of heat exchanger cores 10 can be set to two, three, or four. Here, the number of heat exchanger cores 10 is preferably three, which can reduce the non-uniformity of the outlet air temperature, improve the user experience of end customers, and reduce the risk of excessive local condensate being blown out of the heat exchanger 100.

[0054] In two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, one is located on one side of the other in the thickness direction, so that air can flow through the heat exchanger core 10 in the thickness direction. The heat exchanger core 10 has a large frontal area and high heat exchange efficiency. Specifically, multiple heat exchanger cores 10 are arranged sequentially along the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. Air first passes through the front row of heat exchanger cores 10 and then through the rear row of heat exchanger cores 10, so that the flow direction of the external fluid is consistent.

[0055] Each heat exchanger core 10 has heat exchange tubes 11 and heat exchange fins 12. Multiple heat exchange tubes 11 are arranged side-by-side, and the heat exchange fins 12 are connected to the heat exchange tubes 11. For example, the heat exchange fins 12 can be connected between two adjacent heat exchange tubes 11, or two heat exchange fins 12 can be connected to opposite sides of the heat exchange tubes 11, so that the temperature on the heat exchange tubes 11 can be transferred to the heat exchange fins 12, thereby accelerating the heat exchange of the heat exchange tubes 11. Here, the heat exchange fins 12 are preferably corrugated fins; of course, other structural forms of fins can also be used, and no specific limitation is made here.

[0056] It is understood that the heat exchanger core 10 is configured as a plate-like structure with length, width, and thickness directions. The heat exchange tubes 11 are configured as flat tubes, and multiple heat exchange tubes 11 are arranged along their own thickness direction. The length direction of the heat exchanger core 10 is the same as the length direction of the heat exchange tubes 11, and the width direction of the heat exchanger core 10 is the same as the thickness direction of the heat exchange tubes 11. The X direction in Figures 3, 7, and 11 represents the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10, which is also the direction of air flow.

[0057] In this heat exchanger core 10, some heat exchange fins are provided with drainage elements to form drainage channels 14 on the drainage elements and / or on one side for the condensate to drain from the heat exchange fins; other heat exchange fins are not provided with drainage elements. When moisture in the air condenses on the heat exchange fins 12, the condensate on the heat exchange fins 12 flows to the drainage elements 13 through the connection between the heat exchange fins 12 and the drainage elements 13, and is discharged through the drainage channels 14 on and / or on one side of the drainage elements 13. For example, multiple drainage elements 13 are provided and arranged alternately with multiple heat exchange tubes 11, and the heat exchange fins 12 are connected between adjacent heat exchange tubes 11 and drainage elements 13.

[0058] In the specific scheme, a portion of the heat exchanger cores 10 are provided with drainage components 13, which are connected to the heat exchange fins 12, and a drainage channel 14 is formed on the drainage component 13 and / or on one side for the condensate on the heat exchange fins 12 to be discharged. The other portion of the heat exchanger cores 10 are not provided with drainage components 13.

[0059] As described above, the drain element 13 can accelerate the discharge of condensate. However, because the drain element 13 is placed between the heat exchange fins 12, the heat transferred from the heat exchange tube 11 to the surface of the heat exchange fins 12 is difficult to transfer through the drain element 13, reducing the heat transfer efficiency. Simultaneously, the drain element 13 placed between the heat exchange fins 12 reduces the area of the windward side, further reducing heat transfer efficiency and consequently reducing evaporation capacity. In this application, the heat exchanger 100 has drain elements 13 provided in only a portion of the multiple heat exchanger cores 10. For example, the drain element 13 can be placed only in areas with high humidity or high dehumidification, while other areas are left un-drained. This arrangement maintains rapid condensate discharge and improves heat exchange efficiency, thus enhancing heat exchange capacity.

[0060] In the specific design, in the heat exchanger core 10 equipped with a drain element 13, two heat exchange fins 12 are arranged between two adjacent heat exchange tubes 11, and the drain element 13 is arranged between these two heat exchange fins 12. In the heat exchanger core 10 without a drain element 13, one heat exchange fin 12 can be arranged between two adjacent heat exchange tubes 11. During use, when the heat exchanger core 10 is in use, the angle between the extension direction of the heat exchange tubes 11 and the vertical direction is 0-15 degrees, so that the heat exchange tubes 11 extend approximately vertically, thereby allowing the drain element 13 to extend approximately vertically as well. This facilitates heat exchange of the heat exchange tubes 11 and drainage of the drain element 13.

[0061] The heat exchanger core 10 with drainage component 13 is located on the windward side of the heat exchanger core 10 without drainage component 13, so that the external cavity first flows through the heat exchanger core 10 with drainage component 13 and then flows through the heat exchanger core 10 without drainage component 13.

[0062] During the heat exchange process, the air not in contact with the heat exchanger core 10 has the highest absolute moisture content. As the air flows through the multiple rows of heat exchanger cores 10, the windward heat exchanger core 10 comes into contact with the air first and exchanges heat, resulting in a relatively large dehumidification capacity and better drainage effect using the drain element 13. Conversely, when the air flows through the leeward heat exchanger core 10, the air contains relatively less moisture, leading to less condensation on the heat exchange fins 12. Even without the drain element 13, the leeward heat exchanger core 10 can still meet its drainage requirements. This approach allows for both good drainage on the windward side and high heat exchange on the leeward side, thereby improving the overall heat exchange efficiency of the multiple rows of heat exchanger cores 10.

[0063] As shown in Figure 3, in two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, the heat exchange fins 12 of one are aligned with those of the other in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10, so that the gap between the heat exchange fins 12 of one is aligned with the gap between the heat exchange fins 12 of the other in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. A drain element 13 or a heat exchange tube 11 can be installed in this gap. In this way, the resistance to airflow between the two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 can be reduced, the fan's airflow loss can be reduced, and the assembly efficiency of the product can also be improved.

[0064] As shown in Figure 11, multiple heat exchange tubes 11 and multiple drainage components 13 in the same heat exchanger core 10 are arranged alternately in the width direction of the heat exchanger core 10, while heat exchange fins 12 are arranged between adjacent heat exchange tubes 11 and drainage components 13. That is, the outermost part of the heat exchanger core 10 in the width direction can be either a heat exchange tube 11 or a drainage component 13.

[0065] In some embodiments, at least a portion of the heat exchange tubes 11 of the heat exchanger core 10 without the drain element 13 is aligned with the drain element 13 of the heat exchanger core 10 with the drain element 13 in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. The refrigerant flows through the heat exchange tubes 11, transferring cooling energy to the outer wall of the heat exchange tubes 11, and then to the heat exchange fins 12. The temperature on the heat exchange fins 12 is higher the further away from the heat exchange tubes 11, meaning the temperature is higher the closer the heat exchange fins 12 are to the drain element 13. When air flows through the drain element 13, the temperature drop is minimal. This solution, by aligning the heat exchange tubes 11 of the rear heat exchanger core 10 with the drain element 13 of the front heat exchanger core 10, can fully utilize the heat exchange tubes 11 of the rear heat exchanger core 10 to cool the high-temperature air of the front heat exchanger core 10, thereby improving the heat exchange effect.

[0066] The number of heat exchange tubes 11 on the heat exchanger core 10 without drainage components 13 may or may not be the same as the number of heat exchange tubes 11 on the heat exchanger core 10 with drainage components 13.

[0067] As shown in Figure 3, the heat exchange tubes 11 on the heat exchanger core 10 without the drain element 13 are aligned not only with the drain element 13 on the heat exchanger core 10 with the drain element 13, but also with the heat exchange tubes 11 on the heat exchanger core 10 with the drain element 13. Simultaneously, in two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, the heat exchange fins 12 of one are aligned with the heat exchange fins 12 of the other in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10.

[0068] As shown in Figure 7, the heat exchange tubes 11 on the heat exchanger core 10 without drainage components 13 are aligned with the drainage components 13 on the heat exchanger core 10 with drainage components 13, and the number of heat exchange tubes 11 in two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 is the same.

[0069] In some embodiments, a drain element 13 is provided in the first region of the heat exchanger core 10, while no drain element 13 is provided in the second region of the heat exchanger core 10. The first region is located below the second region. Here, the first region can be set as the lower part of the heat exchanger core 10 or the lower-middle part of the heat exchanger core 10. Since condensate flows downward from the upper part of the heat exchanger core 10 due to gravity, more condensate accumulates in the lower-middle part of the heat exchanger core 10. At this time, the drain element 13 can accelerate the discharge of condensate. In contrast, the upper-middle part of the heat exchanger core 10 has relatively less condensate accumulation, and the drainage needs can be met by the heat exchange fins 12 alone. In this way, the number of drain elements 13 can be reduced, saving costs. Moreover, the absence of a drain element 13 in the upper part of the heat exchanger core 10 can reduce the resistance on the windward side.

[0070] In some embodiments, at least two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 (which can be two or three adjacent heat exchanger cores 10) differ in at least one of the following: fin height, fin density, window angle, number of windows, and number of heat exchange tubes 11. The fin height, fin density, window angle, and number of windows of the heat exchanger fins 12 are directly proportional to the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger core 10, and the number of heat exchange tubes 11 is also directly proportional to the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger core 10. By adjusting the heat exchange efficiency of the front and rear rows of heat exchanger cores 10, the overall heat exchange efficiency of the multi-row heat exchanger cores 10 can be improved.

[0071] In at least two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchange fins 12 of the heat exchanger core 10 located on the windward side (front row heat exchanger core 10) is smaller than that of the heat exchange fins 12 of the heat exchanger core 10 located on the leeward side (rear row heat exchanger core 10). The higher the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchange fins 12, the higher the heat transfer efficiency of the heat exchanger core 10. Thus, by adjusting the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchange fins 12, the wind resistance of the front row heat exchanger cores 10 can be reduced, and the heat transfer capacity of the rear row heat exchanger cores 10 can be increased, thereby improving the overall heat transfer efficiency. Specifically, during manufacturing, the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchange fins 12 can be adjusted by adjusting one or more of the following: fin height, fin density, opening angle, and number of openings.

[0072] As shown in Figure 3, in at least two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, the number of heat exchange tubes 11 in the heat exchanger core 10 located on the windward side (front row heat exchanger core 10) is less than the number of heat exchange tubes 11 in the heat exchanger core 10 located on the leeward side (rear row heat exchanger core 10). The more heat exchange tubes 11 there are, the higher the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger core 10. Thus, by adjusting the number of heat exchange tubes 11, the wind resistance of the front row heat exchanger core 10 can be reduced, and the heat exchange capacity of the rear row heat exchanger core 10 can be increased, thereby improving the overall heat exchange efficiency.

[0073] In some embodiments, the heat exchange fins 12 of at least two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 are connected, for example, the heat exchange fins 12 of two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 are integrally formed. In this way, multiple adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 share a set of heat exchange fins 12, which can simultaneously improve the heat dissipation performance of two heat exchanger cores 10. Since the heat exchange fins 12 of the two heat exchanger cores 10 are aligned, there will be no misalignment of the ventilation positions of the two heat exchanger cores 10, thereby reducing fluid flow resistance, energy consumption, and noise during heat dissipation. Furthermore, it can improve production and assembly efficiency. During production and assembly, it can reduce the problem of misalignment between the front and rear rows of heat exchanger cores 10, because misalignment of the heat exchanger cores 10 during bending will cause air turbulence during flow, increasing resistance on the windward side and thus increasing the power consumption of the fan.

[0074] The drainage component 13 can be configured in various forms, such as sheet-like, tubular, or plate-like. The specific structure of the drainage component 13 is described below.

[0075] The drain element 13 has two opposing sides, each of which is connected to and in contact with one of the two heat exchange fins 12. A drain groove is provided on the side of the drain element 13, extending along the length of the heat exchange tube 11 to facilitate the discharge of condensate. The heat exchange fins 12 abut against the drain groove, forming a drain channel 14 between the heat exchange fins 12 and the drain groove. In use, the condensate on the heat exchange fins 12 flows into the drain groove and is discharged within it.

[0076] As shown in Figures 1 to 7, the drainage component 13 is plate-shaped and the cross-section of the drainage component 13 is wavy to form drainage grooves on both sides of the drainage component 13. In addition, the cross-section of the drainage component 13 can also be trapezoidal corrugated, triangular corrugated, arc-shaped corrugated or rectangular corrugated.

[0077] As shown in Figure 5, the drain element 13 is a hollow tube with a hollow hole inside. The drain element 13 and the hollow hole extend along the length of the heat exchange tube 11 to facilitate the downward discharge of condensate. Two sides of the drain element 13 are connected to two heat exchange fins 12, each with a water guide hole that communicates with the hollow hole. The heat exchange fins 12 abut against the water guide holes, forming a drainage channel 14. During use, the condensate on the heat exchange fins 12 flows to the water guide hole, then into the hollow hole, and is discharged from the bottom of the heat exchanger core 10 under gravity. During the downward flow of the condensate, it does not contact other heat exchange fins 12, resulting in a faster discharge process.

[0078] As shown in Figure 12, in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10, the size of the drain element 13 is smaller than the size of at least one adjacent heat exchange fin 12. In other words, when the drain element 13 is located between two heat exchange fins 12, the width of the drain element 13 is smaller than the width of the two heat exchange fins 12, or the width of the drain element 13 is smaller than the width of one of the heat exchange fins 12; when the drain element 13 is located on the outermost side and only contacts one heat exchange fin 12, the width of the drain element 13 is smaller than the width of that one heat exchange fin 12. In this way, the space between two adjacent heat exchange fins 12 will not be filled by the drain element 13. A drain channel 14 is formed between the two heat exchange fins 12 and one side of the drain element 13. That is, the drain channel 14 is located in the installation gap between two adjacent heat exchange fins 12 and on one side of the drain element 13 in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. The extension direction of the drain channel 14 is parallel to the extension direction of the drain element 13, so that the condensate on the heat exchange fins 12 can be quickly discharged along the drain channel 14.

[0079] The drain element 13 located between the two heat exchange fins 12 can be one or more (i.e., at least two). When multiple drain elements 13 are provided between the two heat exchange fins 12, the multiple drain elements 13 are arranged along the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10 and spaced apart, with an installation gap maintained between adjacent drain elements 13. In this way, a drainage channel 14 can be formed between two adjacent heat exchange fins 12 and two adjacent drain elements 13, thereby increasing the positional diversity of the drainage channel 14 between the heat exchange fins 12 and facilitating all-round drainage.

[0080] As shown in Figure 13, the heat exchange fins 12 of two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 are connected. The width of the heat exchange fins 12 is greater than or equal to the width of the two heat exchange tubes 11. Multiple (at least two) drainage elements 13 are arranged between adjacent heat exchange fins, spaced apart along the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. An installation gap is maintained between adjacent drainage elements 13, thus forming a drainage channel 14 between adjacent heat exchange fins 12 and adjacent drainage elements 13. Alternatively, a drainage channel 14 can also be formed between adjacent heat exchange fins 12 and on one side of a drainage element 13. Furthermore, the width of a single drainage element 13 can be smaller than the width of a single heat exchange tube to make the formed drainage channel 14 larger.

[0081] Specifically, the drain component 13 can be either a hollow component or a solid component. When the drain component 13 is a hollow component, heat transfer between adjacent heat exchange fins 12 can be reduced, as can the thermal impact between two adjacent heat exchange tubes 11, which is beneficial to improving heat exchange efficiency. When the drain component 13 is a solid component, the structure is simple, easy to process, and easy to implement.

[0082] In two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10, the heat exchange tubes 11 of one can be directly connected to the heat exchange tubes 11 of the other, or they can be connected through a third-party adapter. Preferably, the two heat exchange tubes 11 are integrally formed and are processed by bending flat tube workpieces. In this way, the connection between the two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10 is stable and reliable, which can improve the production and processing efficiency of the product.

[0083] The flat tube workpiece includes a first straight tube section, a second straight tube section, and a first bend section 7. The first bend section 7 connects the first and second straight tube sections. The first and second straight tube sections respectively form the heat exchange tubes 11 of two adjacent heat exchanger cores 10. Through the bending process of the first bend section 7, the first and second straight tube sections can be arranged in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger core 10. In this way, the structure is simple, integrally formed, easy to assemble, and conducive to improving the structural neatness.

[0084] Referring to Figures 1, 2, 4 to 6, and 8 to 10, in some embodiments, the heat exchanger 100 has three heat exchanger cores 10: a first heat exchanger core 1, a second heat exchanger core 2, and a third heat exchanger core 3. The first heat exchanger core 1 is connected to a first manifold 4, which serves as the inlet end, and the third heat exchanger core 3 is connected to a second manifold 5, which serves as the outlet end. This allows the refrigerant to flow into the first heat exchanger core 1, pass through the first heat exchanger core 1, the second heat exchanger core 2, and the third heat exchanger core 3 in sequence, and then flow out from the third heat exchanger core 3. Here, the first heat exchanger core 1 and the second heat exchanger core 2 are provided with drainage components 13, while the third heat exchanger core 3 is not provided with drainage components 13. The refrigerant flows sequentially through the first heat exchanger core 1, the second heat exchanger core 2, and the third heat exchanger core 3, and air flows sequentially through the first heat exchanger core 1, the second heat exchanger core 2, and the third heat exchanger core 3. The refrigerant temperature in the heat exchange tubes 11 located in the first heat exchanger core 1 and the second heat exchanger core 2 is relatively low, and a lot of condensate is formed on the heat exchange fins 12. The drainage component 13 can effectively drain the condensate on the first heat exchanger core 1 and the second heat exchanger core 2.

[0085] In this configuration, a plurality of heat exchange tubes 11 of the first heat exchanger core 1 are connected one-to-one with a plurality of heat exchange tubes 11 of the second heat exchanger core 2, thereby connecting the first heat exchanger core 1 and the second heat exchanger core 2. Furthermore, a plurality of heat exchange tubes 11 of the second heat exchanger core 2 and a plurality of heat exchange tubes 11 of the third heat exchanger core 3 are connected through a third manifold 6, thereby connecting the second heat exchanger core 2 and the third heat exchanger core 3.

[0086] The first manifold 4 is equipped with a fluid distribution device, which can rationally distribute the refrigerant flowing to the first heat exchanger core 1, thereby improving the uniformity of the refrigerant in each heat exchange tube 11. The specific structure of the fluid distribution device is consistent with conventional configurations in the art and will not be described in detail here.

[0087] During operation, refrigerant flows from the first manifold 4 into multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the first heat exchanger core 1, and then into multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the second heat exchanger core 2. After heat exchange between the refrigerant inside the first and second heat exchanger cores 1 and the external air, the refrigerant flows into the third manifold 6. Unevaporated liquid and gaseous refrigerant mix thoroughly in the third manifold 6 before flowing into multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the third heat exchanger core 3, finally converging into the second manifold 5 and flowing out from there. Thus, the design of the third manifold 6 improves the heat exchange uniformity of the internal refrigerant, which is beneficial for improving heat exchange efficiency.

[0088] It should be noted that the third manifold 6 can be configured as one or two parallel and connected manifolds. When there is one third manifold 6, it has two rows of staggered manifold holes. Multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the second heat exchanger core 2 and multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the third heat exchanger core 3 are staggered and connected to the two rows of manifold holes respectively. When there are two third manifolds 6, each third manifold 6 has one row of manifold holes. Multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the second heat exchanger core 2 are connected to one row of manifold holes, and multiple heat exchange tubes 11 of the third heat exchanger core 3 are connected to the other row of manifold holes.

[0089] As shown in Figure 1, a second bend 8 is provided at one end of the heat exchange tube 11 of the first heat exchanger core 1 near the second heat exchanger core 2. That is, the heat exchange tube 11 of the first heat exchanger core 1 is connected to the first manifold 4 through the second bend 8. The second bend 8 is bent away from the second heat exchanger core 2 so that the first manifold 4 is located on one side of the thickness direction of the first heat exchanger core 1. In this way, the first manifold 4 can be prevented from contacting the third manifold 6, and the heat exchange tube 11 on the first heat exchanger core 1 can also be prevented from contacting the third manifold 6, thereby reducing friction damage caused during later operation.

[0090] The first manifold 4, the second manifold 5, and the third manifold 6 are arranged in parallel. The extension direction of the heat exchange tubes 11 of the first heat exchanger core 1, the second heat exchanger core 2, and the third heat exchanger core 3 is perpendicular to the axial direction of the first manifold 4. During installation, the extension direction of the heat exchange tubes 11 and the drain component 13 can be vertical, while the extension direction of the first manifold 4, the second manifold 5, and the third manifold 6 can be horizontal. This arrangement allows condensate to drain smoothly along the drain channel 14 formed on the drain component 13 under the action of gravity.
