Description

[0001] PC 25 2454 C April 2, 2026

[0002] Sanitary outlet unit and sanitary fitting

[0003] The invention relates to a sanitary outlet unit with a separating stage, a flow obstruction of a mixing stage downstream of the separating stage in a main flow direction, and an outlet stage downstream of the flow obstruction of the mixing stage in the main flow direction, which is pivotable about at least one pivot axis.

[0004] The invention further relates to a sanitary fitting with a sanitary outlet unit according to the invention.

[0005] Such sanitary outlet units and sanitary fittings are known.

[0006] For example, such a sanitary outlet unit can be designed as an aerator. It can therefore serve to shape and / or aerate a water jet that emerges, for example, from a sanitary fitting. In this context, for example, in an inflow-side area of the sanitary outlet unit, the separating stage can divide an incoming water jet into individual jets. The separating stage can, for example, be designed as a perforated plate and / or as a diffuser. A mixing stage is located downstream of the separating stage. The mixing stage has a flow obstruction, which in this application is referred to as the flow obstruction of the mixing stage. According to an advantageous embodiment, this flow obstruction can have further flow obstructions. For example, the mixing stage can serve to mix the water jet with, for example, air.The outlet stage can, for example, close off the sanitary outlet unit on the downstream side and / or shape the outgoing water jet perceptible to a user in a desired manner. PC 25 2454 C 2 / 24 2 . April 2026.

[0007] The object of the invention is to improve the performance characteristics of such sanitary outlet units and sanitary fittings.

[0008] To solve the aforementioned problem, the features of claim 1 are provided according to the invention. In particular, to solve the aforementioned problem in sanitary outlet units of the type described above, it is proposed according to the invention that the flow obstruction of the mixing stage is rigidly connected to the separation stage.

[0009] Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the flow obstruction of the mixing stage is firmly connected to the outlet stage.

[0010] For the purposes of this application, a "fixed connection" can be understood to mean, in particular, a connection between components characterized by the fact that the firmly connected components adhere to one another without additional fastening. It is especially advantageous if the aforementioned components of the sanitary outlet unit do not fall apart even without additional fastening. This allows for particularly convenient and uncomplicated handling, transport, and / or installation of the sanitary outlet unit.

[0011] In this way, a defined position and / or orientation of the aforementioned components can be achieved. Depending on the requirements, the mixing stage can be moved relative to the disassembly stage and / or the discharge stage, or its movement can be restricted. For example, the need to adjust the desired orientation of the components relative to each other during manufacturing can be reduced if individual components are rigidly connected. Furthermore, the alignment of individual components, such as the discharge stage, relative to the flow obstruction of the PC 25 2454 C 3 / 24 2. April 2026

[0012] The mixing stage must be the same for different orientations of the outlet stage.

[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that at least one pivot axis is a preferred pivot axis with an orientation fixed relative to the sanitary outlet unit. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that at least one of several pivot axes is a preferred pivot axis with an orientation fixed relative to the sanitary outlet unit.

[0014] For the purposes of this application, a preferred pivot axis can be understood to mean, in particular, a pivot axis about which the discharge step can be pivoted exclusively or without excessive additional force. For example, the discharge step can be pivoted exclusively about one or more preferred pivot axes, whereby pivoting of the discharge step about any other pivot axis is prevented by force and / or positive locking. The orientation of the preferred pivot axis can, for example, be haptically perceptible to a user during a pivoting movement of the discharge step. In this way, it can be signaled to the user that pivoting about a pivot axis that is not a preferred pivot axis is undesirable. For example, pivoting about a pivot axis, especially if it is not a preferred pivot axis, may only be possible with increased force and / or without damaging the discharge unit.

[0015] Thus, one or more orientations of the outlet stage, and therefore also of the dispensed water jet, can be specified. For example, it is possible to allow, or at least prefer, an orientation of the outlet stage, and thus of the dispensed water jet, only within a defined solid angle. This allows for a desired appearance of a PC 25 2454 C 4 / 24 2 . April 2026

[0016] A water dispensing device, for example a sanitary fitting, with a spout unit according to the invention, can ensure, for example, a desired jet dispensing direction. For example, a preferred dispensing direction or a set of preferred dispensing directions of a water jet can be defined. This can be selected, for example, depending on the design of the water dispensing device, such that undesirable positions of the water dispensing direction are avoided.

[0017] For example, the water dispensing direction can be set so that it is parallel to a desired plane, but can have different inclinations. Thus, after mounting the outlet unit on a water dispensing device, the user can adjust the desired inclination.

[0018] In an advantageous embodiment, the preferred pivot axis may be defined by guiding the flow obstruction of the mixing stage through the separation stage and / or a housing part of the sanitary discharge unit. Alternatively or additionally, the preferred pivot axis may be defined by guiding the discharge stage through the separation stage and / or a housing part of the sanitary discharge unit. In each case, the guide may form a pivot bearing.

[0019] Thus, different methods for defining a preferred pivot axis are possible. For example, multiple preferred pivot axes can be provided. The preferred pivot axis can therefore be defined by the components of the sanitary outlet unit.

[0020] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the flow obstruction of the mixing stage is connected to the PC 25 2454 C 5 / 24 2. April 2026

[0021] The separating stage is positively connected. The flow obstruction of the mixing stage can alternatively or additionally be integrally connected to the separating stage, in particular as a single piece. The flow obstruction of the mixing stage can alternatively or additionally be monolithic with the separating stage.

[0022] Alternatively or additionally, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage can be positively connected to the outlet stage. Alternatively or additionally, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage can be materially bonded to the outlet stage, in particular as a single piece. Alternatively or additionally, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage can be monolithically formed with the outlet stage.

[0023] Thus, depending on the requirements, a desired type of connection between the flow obstruction of the mixing stage and the separation stage and / or the discharge stage can be selected. The aforementioned components can be advantageously defined with regard to their position and / or orientation.

[0024] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the flow obstruction of the mixing stage has a support structure to which flow obstructions oriented transversely to the main flow direction are formed.

[0025] Thus, the flow obstructions can create a desired mixing of the water jet flowing through the sanitary outlet unit, for example with air. The flow obstruction of the mixing stage can therefore be easily demolded, as further individual parts may be unnecessary.

[0026] In an advantageous embodiment, it may be provided that PC 25 2454 C 6 / 24 2 April 2026

[0027] that the disassembly stage has a guide element into which a counter element of the support structure engages, thereby defining an orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis.

[0028] One or more guide elements and / or counter elements can be provided. In this way, the orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis can be easily defined. For example, the guide element can be a socket joint and / or the counter element a ball joint. Depending on the chosen joint type, a different number and / or direction of degrees of freedom can be provided. For example, the guide element can act with the counter element in such a way that the orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis is defined, but a different orientation can be set by applying increased force without damaging the sanitary outlet unit.

[0029] Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the disassembly stage has a guide element into which a counter element of the support structure engages, whereby a pivoting of the discharge stage is only possible in one preferred direction.

[0030] The guide element and / or the counter element can be, in particular, the guide element or counter element already described. With this type of design, the guide element and the counter element can interact in such a way that the discharge stage cannot pivot in any direction other than the preferred direction(s) without damaging the discharge unit.

[0031] The guide element can also be provided on the downstream side. Alternatively or additionally, the PC 25 2454 C 7 / 24 2 . April 2026

[0032] The counter element must be provided on the upstream side.

[0033] The guide element and the counter element can therefore be arranged close to their respective counterparts in order to work together advantageously.

[0034] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the outlet stage is subjected to force by the flow obstruction of the mixing stage in the main flow direction.

[0035] Thus, the phase-out stage can, for example, be fixed in a specific position. This position could, for instance, be a preferred position among several possible positions.

[0036] Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the flow obstruction of the mixing stage is subjected to force by the separating stage in the main flow direction.

[0037] The flow obstruction of the mixing stage can therefore be fixed in a specific position. This position could, for example, be a preferred position among several possible positions.

[0038] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the sanitary outlet unit has at least one housing part in which the outlet stage is pivotably mounted.

[0039] In this way, one or more positions, particularly preferred positions, of the discharge stage can be defined. Swiveling of the discharge stage can also be achieved. It is advantageous if the discharge stage is subjected to force by the flow obstruction of the mixing stage and / or to the flow obstruction of the PC 25 2454 C 8 / 24 2. April 2026, which is subjected to force by the separation stage.

[0040] The mixing stage is firmly connected. This allows for a desired resistance when swiveling the outlet stage. This resistance can be adjusted so that the outlet stage can be easily swiveled by a user, but is not forced into an unwanted position by water pressure when the water jet is switched on and off.

[0041] Alternatively or additionally, it may be provided that the sanitary outlet unit has at least one housing part which limits movement of the outlet stage in the main flow direction.

[0042] In particular, the housing component in question is the aforementioned housing component. This housing component ensures that the outlet step does not fall off the sanitary outlet unit. A fixed mounting of the outlet step in or on the housing component, while still allowing it to pivot, is therefore feasible.

[0043] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the housing part has a guide element for a counter element provided at the outlet stage.

[0044] Thus, the exit stage can be advantageously guided by an interaction of the guide element with the counter element.

[0045] Additionally, the guide element can be a guide groove. Alternatively or additionally, the counter element can be a pin.

[0046] The guide element and / or counter element can thus be advantageously designed to optimize the interaction of these elements. PC 25 2454 C 9 / 24 2 April 2026

[0047] In this case, the orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis can be defined when the outlet stage is inserted into the housing part.

[0048] The interaction of the guide element and counter element can thus be designed, for example by the previously described design as a guide groove and pin, such that the orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis is readily determined when the discharge step is inserted into the housing part. This simplifies the assembly and use of the discharge unit.

[0049] Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that, when the outlet stage is inserted into the housing part, swiveling of the outlet stage is only possible in one preferred direction.

[0050] The described interaction between the guide element and the counter element can therefore be designed in such a way that the user is only permitted to align the outlet step in a manner desired by the manufacturer. Thus, the manufacturer of the outlet unit can influence the direction of the water jet emitted from the outlet unit. For example, it can be ensured that a water outlet device equipped with the outlet unit always creates a desired, advantageous visual and / or tactile impression on users and / or observers.

[0051] In an advantageous embodiment, an outer surface of the outlet step may describe a spherical zone. Alternatively or additionally, an inner surface of at least one housing part may describe a spherical zone. PC 25 2454 C 10 / 24 2 April 2026

[0052] Thus, the contacting surfaces of the discharge stage and the housing part, particularly the aforementioned housing part, and / or when the discharge stage is arranged and / or mounted in the housing part as previously described, can be aligned. Movement of the discharge stage within the housing part can therefore be easily facilitated. In this way, desired and / or multiple possible orientations of the discharge stage within the housing part can also be specified. For example, the mounting of the discharge stage within the housing part can allow for a number of orientations, whereby, due to the previously described mounting of the flow obstruction of the mixing stage to the separation stage and / or the discharge stage to the flow obstruction of the mixing stage, only a subset of these orientations of the discharge stage are actually accessible.

[0053] In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the outlet stage has several preferred positions, wherein the outlet stage can be pivoted from one preferred position against a resistance to another preferred position.

[0054] This allows for the definition of multiple preferred positions, from which a user can choose. For example, a preferred position can be made available for different possible orientations of the dispensing unit, such as when installed in different water dispensing devices, allowing the dispensing stage to be swiveled depending on the installation location. This ensures that the dispensing device can be used with different water dispensing devices, while maintaining a consistent orientation of the dispensed water jet in each case.

[0055] In an advantageous embodiment, the disassembly stage may be designed as a perforated plate and / or the discharge stage may have an arrangement of hexagonal PC 25 2454 C 11 / 24 2. April 2026

[0056] It has flow openings.

[0057] The separating stage can therefore be suitable for splitting the incoming water jet in different ways.

[0058] In an advantageous embodiment, the sanitary outlet unit may have a sleeve-shaped housing part with an external thread. Alternatively or additionally, the sanitary outlet unit may have a pre-filter screen. Alternatively or additionally, the sanitary outlet unit may have a flow regulator. Alternatively or additionally, the sanitary outlet unit may be designed as a vented aerator.

[0059] Depending on preference, the sanitary outlet unit can therefore be designed differently.

[0060] Alternatively or additionally, the features of the dependent claim, which relates to a sanitary fitting, are provided according to the invention to solve the aforementioned problem.

[0061] In particular, to solve the aforementioned problem in sanitary fittings of the type described above, it is proposed according to the invention that these fittings have a sanitary outlet unit according to the invention.

[0062] The advantages of the sanitary outlet unit can therefore be used in sanitary fittings.

[0063] Additionally, it may be provided that the sanitary outlet unit can be screwed into a mating thread of the sanitary fitting.

[0064] This allows for easy installation of the sanitary outlet unit. PC 25 2454 C 12 / 24 2 April 2026

[0065] The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to exemplary embodiments, but is not limited to these embodiments. Further exemplary embodiments result from combining the features of one or more claims with each other and / or with one or more features of the exemplary embodiments.

[0089] The figures show four different embodiments of sanitary outlet units 1 according to the invention. These embodiments are described in detail below, whereby features of individual embodiments described with regard to one or more specific embodiments may also be implemented in other embodiments. For the sake of clarity, not all visible components in all figures are labeled with reference numerals.

[0090] The figures each show a sanitary outlet unit 1 with a separation stage 2, a flow obstruction of a mixing stage 4 downstream of the separation stage 2 in a main flow direction 3, and an outlet stage 5 downstream of the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 in the main flow direction 3, which is pivotable about at least one pivot axis 6. In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 5, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is rigidly connected to the separation stage 2. In the other embodiments, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is rigidly connected to the outlet stage 5. PC 25 2454 C 15 / 24 2 April 2026

[0091] In the embodiments shown in Figures 11 to 20, the at least one pivot axis 6 is a preferred pivot axis 6 with an orientation fixed relative to the sanitary outlet unit 1. In an embodiment not shown, at least one of several pivot axes can be a preferred pivot axis with an orientation fixed relative to the sanitary outlet unit.

[0092] In the embodiment shown in Figures 11 to 15, the preferred pivot axis 6 is defined by a guide for the outlet stage 5 through a housing part 7 of the sanitary outlet unit 1. In the embodiment shown in Figures 16 to 20, the preferred pivot axis 6 is defined by a guide for the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 through the separation stage 2. The guide is a pivot bearing 26.

[0093] In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 5, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is integrally connected to the separation stage 2, i.e., integrally and monolithically formed. In the embodiments shown in Figures 6 to 21, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is integrally connected to the discharge stage 5, i.e., integrally and monolithically formed. In embodiments not shown, the connection can also be positively engaged.

[0094] In all embodiments, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 has a support structure 8. Flow obstructions 9 oriented transversely to the main flow direction 3 are integrally formed on the support structure 8.

[0095] In the embodiment shown in Figures 16 to 20, the disassembly stage 2 has a guide element 10 on the downstream side, into which an upstream counter element 11 of the support structure 8 engages, thereby ensuring the alignment of at least one PC 25 2454 C 16 / 24 2. April 2026

[0096] preferred pivot axis 6 is fixed, which means that pivoting of the outlet stage 5 is only possible in one preferred direction.

[0097] In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 20, the outlet stage 5 is subjected to force in the main flow direction 3 by the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4, and the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is subjected to force by the separation stage 2. This is achieved, in the case of components that are not bonded together, by suitably shaped extensions 12. In the embodiment shown in Figure 21, the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is spaced apart from the separation stage 2. In the aforementioned ways, a preload is formed between the outlet stage 5 and the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 and / or between the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 and the separation stage 2. In all embodiments, the sanitary outlet unit 1 has at least one housing part 7 in which the outlet stage 5 is pivotably mounted and which limits the movement of the outlet stage 5 in the main flow direction 3.

[0098] In the embodiment shown in Figures 11 to 15, the housing part 7 has a guide element 13, namely a guide groove 14, for a counter element 15, namely a pin 16, provided on the discharge stage 5. With the discharge stage 5 inserted into the housing part 7, an orientation of at least one preferred pivot axis 6 is defined, and pivoting of the discharge stage 5 is only possible in one preferred direction.

[0099] In all embodiments, an outer surface 17 of the outlet stage 5 and an inner surface 18 of the at least one housing part 7 describe a spherical zone.

[0100] In an embodiment not shown, PC 25 2454 C 17 / 24 2 . April 2026

[0101] The outlet stage has several preferred positions, wherein the outlet stage can be pivoted from one preferred position against a resistance to another preferred position.

[0102] In all embodiments, the separation stage 2 is designed as a perforated plate 19. Furthermore, the outlet stage 5 has an arrangement 20 of hexagonal flow openings 21. The sanitary outlet unit 1 also has a sleeve-shaped housing part 7 with an external thread 22, a pre-filter screen 23, and a flow regulator 24, and is designed as a vented aerator 25. The sanitary outlet unit 1 can include a reduction stage, preferably with the aforementioned flow regulator and / or at least one further flow regulator.

[0103] The outlet unit 1 according to the invention can be used with or connected to a sanitary fitting (not shown). The outlet unit 1 according to the invention can be screwed into a mating thread of the sanitary fitting via a thread, namely the external thread 22.

[0104] Exemplary embodiments of the invention can be designed, for example, as a high-flow variant or a low-flow variant. A high-flow variant can be distinguished from a low-flow variant, for example, by a high flow rate class. For example, an aerator with dimensions 16.5 x 1, which produces a jet diameter of 11 mm, can operate in the high-flow regime from a flow rate class of 5 l / min, and an aerator with dimensions 24 x 1, which produces a jet diameter of 18 mm, from a flow rate class of 12 l / min. More generally, or additionally, it can be said, for example, that the high-flow regime differs from the low-flow regime in that, in a high-flow regime, the individual jets striking a flow obstruction are deflected so strongly that they do not affect adjacent jets. PC 25 2454 C 18 / 24 2. April 2026

[0105] Individual jets can be disruptive, particularly deflecting and / or atomizing, whereas this may not be the case in the low-flow regime. This can mean that aligning the flow obstructions with the dispersing nozzles is more important in the low-flow regime and / or for low-flow sanitary fittings, especially low-flow aerators, than in the high-flow regime and / or for high-flow sanitary fittings, especially high-flow aerators. For example, a flow rate per unit of time can be defined using an upstream reduction stage, especially a flow regulator, which results in operation in either the low-flow or high-flow regime.

[0106] A sanitary outlet unit 1 is thus proposed, comprising a separating stage 2, a flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 downstream of the separating stage 2 in a main flow direction 3, and an outlet stage 5 downstream of the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 in the main flow direction 3, which is pivotable about at least one pivot axis 6, wherein the flow obstruction of the mixing stage 4 is rigidly connected to the separating stage 2 and / or to the outlet stage 5. Furthermore, a sanitary fitting with a sanitary outlet unit 1 according to the invention is proposed.
