Abstract
Description
[0001] Owomo GmbH
[0002] Connection unit, connection device and connection system
[0003] The invention relates to a connecting unit, a connecting device and a connecting system for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects.
[0004] For example, DE 84 09 701 U1 discloses a method for connecting two cushion-shaped objects using hook-and-loop fasteners in a non-destructive manner. DE 202 18 818 U1 also discloses a method for connecting cushion-shaped objects in a non-destructive manner.
[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a simpler and faster-handling method for connecting at least two objects in a non-destructive manner.
[0006] This problem is solved by claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in the dependent claims, the following description and the figures, wherein these embodiments, either individually or in combination with at least two of them, can represent an advantageous and / or further developing aspect of the invention.
[0007] A connecting unit according to the invention for producing a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects has at least one connecting section in a U-shape in cross-section, which has two connecting legs running parallel to each other and a web connecting the connecting legs to each other at their edges, and at least one fastening section connected to the web, via which the connecting unit can be fastened to one of the objects, wherein wedge-shaped hook projections extending in the longitudinal direction of the connecting unit and tapering away from the fastening section are arranged on opposite sides of the respective connecting leg.
[0008] According to the invention, a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects can be created by attaching a connecting unit according to the invention to each object and then inserting the connecting units into one another, for example, by plugging them in, so that the two connecting units are non-destructively detachable from each other. Due to the inventive design of the connecting units or their hook projections, the hook projections of one connecting unit engage behind the hook projections of the other connecting unit.
[0009] The non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects via two connection units according to the invention can be subjected to tensile stress without the connection being released, which is ensured by the mutual interlocking of the hook projections. The connection between the two connection units can, for example, be described as a snap-fit connection.
[0010] If the connection between the two connection units according to the invention or the objects connected thereto is to be released without damage, the connection units can be separated in parallel to Owomo GmbH
[0011] The connecting units are moved or shifted relative to each other along their longitudinal dimensions until one connecting unit no longer engages with the other. Subsequently, the connecting units can be reconnected as needed by moving them relative to each other transversely to their longitudinal dimensions, thereby re-inserting them into one another. This relative movement between the connecting units can be transverse to or parallel to their longitudinal dimensions. According to the invention, both the creation and the disassembly of the non-destructive connection between at least two objects can thus be carried out simply and quickly.
[0012] A receiving space is formed between the two parallel connecting legs of the U-shaped connecting section. This space is closed on one side by the web connecting the connecting legs at their edges and is open on the side opposite the web. To create a non-destructively detachable connection between objects, a connecting leg of another connecting unit according to the invention can be inserted, for example, by plugging or sliding it into this receiving space of a connecting unit according to the invention. This insertion is achieved such that hook projections on the connecting leg of one connecting unit inserted into the receiving space engage behind the hook projections of the two connecting legs of the other connecting unit that project into the receiving space.
[0013] The fastening section of the connecting unit according to the invention serves to attach the connecting unit to one of the objects to be joined together in a non-destructively detachable manner. The fastening section can, for example, be in the form of a band. The fastening section can, for example, extend over the entire length of the connecting section, the length of which is parallel to the longitudinal extent of the connecting unit. The fastening section can, for example, be attached to an object by sewing, stapling, or the like.
[0014] On each connecting leg of the connecting unit according to the invention, wedge-shaped hook projections are arranged on opposite sides, extending longitudinally along the connecting unit and tapering away from the fastening section. At least one hook projection can extend, for example, over the entire length of the connecting unit or only over a portion of this length. At least one hook projection can have a cross-sectional area in the form of an obtuse triangle, such that the hook projection forms an undercut on its side facing the web. This allows for an even more robust and durable non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects, particularly if all hook projections of the connecting unit are designed accordingly.
[0015] The connecting unit according to the invention can, for example, be designed as an elongated profile or in strand form. The connecting unit according to the invention can, for example, be an injection-molded component or an extruded component. Owomo GmbH
[0016] The connecting unit according to the invention can, for example, be attached to shopping bags made of a sturdier plastic, such as those available in stores, for example by sewing them on. This allows, for example, two such shopping bags to be connected to each other, for example at their upper edges, via their connecting units, without having to consider whether the shopping bag is designed to be placed on the left or right side of a bicycle rack, or whether the length of the two connecting units is the same. Thus, a large shopping bag can be attached to the left and a small shopping bag to the right of a bicycle rack. The connecting device formed by the interconnected connecting units then simply rests on the bicycle rack, and the shopping bags hang down on the left and right, just like a conventional bicycle bag that is simply clamped onto the rack's frame. To separate the shopping bags after transport on a bicycle, they are simply moved against each other, which releases the connecting units.
[0017] The connecting unit according to the invention also makes it possible to connect mattresses to each other in any desired way using such connecting units. Short end faces of mattresses can be connected to the long sides of mattresses.
[0018] The connecting unit according to the invention can also be attached to a garden chair or camping chair. A further connecting unit can be attached to a cushion, allowing the cushion to be connected to the chair by inserting the connecting units into one another. Due to the symmetry of the connecting unit, it is possible to select the top or bottom side of the cushion, for example, to choose a waterproof or decorative side as the top of the cushion. The connecting unit can also be attached to a rollator or wheelchair, and a further connecting unit can be attached to a cushion to connect the cushion to the rollator or wheelchair. In this case, the connecting unit can be attached to only one side of the cushion so that the cushion can be folded up when the rollator or wheelchair is folded. If one side of the cushion gets wet from rain, the cushion can simply be turned over after detaching the connecting units and then reattached to the rollator or wheelchair using the same units. The cushion can also be detached from the rollator or wheelchair by detaching the connecting units and placed, for example, on a bench or park bench. The connecting unit can also be used to attach a leg cover to a wheelchair by attaching one connecting unit to the edge of the cover and another connecting unit to the wheelchair.Furthermore, the connection unit according to the invention can be used for a barrier system, for example a construction fence, a construction pit safety barrier, a pedestrian barrier or an animal barrier, wherein at least one connection unit can be attached to each barrier element of the barrier system, via whose connection the barrier elements can be connected to each other without tools and thus in a simple manner. Owomo GmbH.
[0019] are connectable. The connecting elements can, for example, have a length of 20 cm. By lifting a construction fence panel of a suitably designed construction fence from the standard fence feet, the fence panel would detach from another fence panel and could then be removed. If such detachment of a fence panel is not desired, a lock could be inserted through a hole in the connecting units by making them longer, thus securing the construction fence. If the elements of a barrier need to be particularly firmly and securely connected, the connecting units could also extend over the entire height of the elements, so that the elements would have to be pushed almost completely apart to detach them. If the connecting units are elastic or...Because they are rubber-like, the use of connecting units to join elements of a pedestrian or animal control barrier also reduces the risk of injury. Furthermore, the connecting units are easier to clean.
[0020] When tarpaulins are joined together, for example to create temporary shelters for horses, there is traditionally the problem that horses can get caught in the straps connecting the tarpaulins and injure themselves. This is not possible when using the connecting units according to the invention for joining such tarpaulins.
[0021] When using connecting units to join elements of a privacy fence, these units can ensure the fence remains opaque. For example, it is also possible to attach a connecting unit to an ambulance, to which a privacy fence can then be attached using another connecting unit. If the connecting units are elastic or rubber-like, this modification of an ambulance would not pose any problems from a regulatory standpoint.
[0022] For example, when crowds need to be temporarily guided, the use of the connecting units according to the invention for joining elements of a crowd control barrier has the advantage that, for example, police officers or firefighters can react very quickly to the situation and create secure connections by reconfiguring the barrier without tools or heavy equipment. Because there is no need to pay attention to a specific direction of connection, the beginning always aligns with the end when setting up the barrier from both sides. Due to the identical symmetry of the connecting unit, it is also possible to install elements with printed directional arrows pointing left or right, as needed. Furthermore, no small parts can be lost, as none are included.Even police shields equipped with at least one connecting unit could form a closed barricade during a demonstration by linking the shields together via these units. The shields can be easily connected using Owomo GmbH.
[0023] The shields can be connected without an officer having to pay attention to the coupling direction. The forces acting on each shield would be distributed evenly in the horizontal direction. To separate the shields, they only need to be moved vertically relative to each other.
[0024] Windbreak elements, tarpaulins, or the like could be easily attached to beach chairs using connecting elements according to the invention, for example, to close a beach chair in the evening. In this way, a tarpaulin can serve a dual purpose.
[0025] Another application area of the connecting unit according to the invention is heavy-duty barrier systems. For example, it is possible to connect plastic barriers with steel cables. This makes it possible to connect the individual wall elements of the plastic barrier to each other according to the guardrail principle. Impact energy would then be distributed across the entire barrier system. Thus, for example, a Christmas market barrier could be erected where the individual elements are lightweight and easy to carry. Guardrails in a construction area could also be erected more easily. Lighter barrier systems could be filled with water as needed, or sections could remain lightweight. This provides a very high degree of flexibility and speed. Due to the symmetrical design of the connecting unit, there is no need to pay attention to the installation direction. Incorrect assembly is impossible.
[0026] Furthermore, the connection unit according to the invention allows various fence and net elements to be connected to one another as desired. For example, a base element with a surrounding connection unit could be manufactured. This would allow net and fence systems to be extended or assembled as needed, neatly and securely. Application examples would include temporary nets, such as those used in skiing, or permanent nets, such as those used in tennis. Advertising banners could also be integrated via connection units, fitting directly into the system. This would perfectly combine barriers and advertising media.
[0027] Another application for the connecting unit according to the invention would be short "No Entry" signs, such as those for a ship's staircase. Such a sign, which could be made of a tarpaulin, for example, could be directly connected to a stair railing using connecting units. The tarpaulin with the inscription would simply be "clicked" between the side stair railings using the connecting units and could additionally be secured against slipping out by means of a lock engaging with interconnected connecting units. This would also be useful, for example, for temporarily closing off a diving platform in a swimming pool. The connecting units could simply be attached horizontally to a stair step. If the connecting units are made of a plastic, good corrosion resistance would be ensured. The connecting elements could, for example, also be used all around a swimming pool to optionally attach ropes for dividing the pool or securing the pool against falling in, or an Owomo GmbH.
[0028] To reduce heat loss. Temporary, floating heat protection tarpaulins could also be installed accordingly.
[0029] The connection unit according to the invention can also be used in private settings, such as with a pool. Depending on the pool's size, floating, square elements made of a material similar to that used in sleeping mats, for example, polyester foam or expanded polypropylene, could be sent to the user as needed. The user could then place these mats on their pool and connect them using the connection units, cutting them to size as required for round or oval pools. No further processing of the mat edges is necessary, as the connection units do not require end pieces. When the mats are not needed, they can simply be disassembled and stored, for example, in a garage. This use is also possible because the interconnected connection units are identical in shape and symmetrical.
[0030] The connecting unit according to the invention is also ideally suited for direct sewing onto advertising banners and flags. Thanks to the even load distribution along the entire length, banners don't wrinkle, and assembly is very quick. Once the connecting units are attached to the corresponding advertising banners, changing the banners is very easy. Here again, the advantage is that there's no need to pay attention to front and back, etc., when mounting the connecting units. Of course, the freely configurable length of the connecting units is also a significant advantage. Small advertising banners could even be hung on a large board or similar surface using these connecting units.
[0031] A typical application would be a banner on scaffolding. By attaching connecting units to the scaffolding pipes, a banner could be quickly mounted. Advertising banners made of mesh fabric, in particular, have the problem that conventionally attached eyelets tear out quickly because the point load is too high for the material. Due to the low cost of the present invention, it is also possible to attach a connecting unit around the perimeter of advertising signs in supermarkets. The corresponding advertising signs could also be freely moved using a connection of connecting units. This applies both indoors and outdoors.
[0032] Furthermore, the connecting unit according to the invention could be used, for example, to cost-effectively install universally applicable cold barriers in refrigerated vehicles, which could then also be moved via a connection of connecting units. One connecting unit could be mounted on the ceiling of a cold storage room, while another connecting unit could be mounted on a barrier element in order to suspend the barrier element from the ceiling via a connection between the connecting units.
[0033] In principle, the use of the connecting unit according to the invention would also be an ideal addition to the food processing industry. For example, it could be used in the area of Owomo GmbH.
[0034] Splash guards or films for machines can be suspended or attached using a system of connecting units, with the resulting connection providing excellent splash protection. Depending on how the connecting elements are joined, even flowing water might not be able to penetrate the connection. For example, a system of connecting units could be installed below a drain opening. If a connecting unit attached to a tarpaulin is then connected to another connecting unit in a specific way, the tarpaulin would not need to be further secured, and the contents of a container, such as liquids, would not be able to pass through the connection. The weight of the connecting units would create a form-fitting seal. This would also be possible in pressurized water if the connecting units form a type of interlocking mechanism that self-seals under pressure. Classification in protection class IP 68 according to DIN EN 60529 is conceivable, depending on the installation situation. If the connecting units are made of a flexible material, curved splash guards, for example, can also be suspended. Temporary heavy partitions, such as those for sound insulation or temporary thermal insulation, could also be constructed from these connecting units thanks to their adjustability and high load-bearing capacity.
[0035] A connecting unit according to the invention could also be attached cost-effectively to existing boards and signs. The inexpensive production of tarpaulins, to which connecting units are also attached, would allow for a safe and cost-effective change in traffic flow. For example, traffic jam signs or detour signs could be stored in a space-saving manner as tarpaulins in an emergency vehicle. Another example is wayfinding signage for concerts and events at exhibition grounds.
[0036] Using the connecting unit according to the invention, any lamppost or mast could be easily converted into a flagpole. One connecting unit would be attached to the lamppost or mast, and another to a flag or banner. Because the connecting units are slidable within each other, the flag or banner can be easily raised and lowered on the lamppost or mast. The flag could then be pulled out of the connecting unit on the lamppost or mast at the bottom. With plastic connecting units, the entire assembly would be rustproof and would not rattle. The connection of the connecting units eliminates any risk of injury, thus easily improving the usability of existing systems such as flags, winter decorations, or the like, since the connecting units can also be attached to existing equipment.
[0037] The connecting unit according to the invention could also be used for erecting tents, especially marquees, and a modular construction is also possible. Depending on how a connection of connecting units is installed, this connection is absolutely watertight in the direction of water flow. This allows even large, heavy tarpaulins to be joined together. Owomo GmbH
[0038] Side panels of marquees can be easily inserted later using connecting units. Connections to permanent structures, such as a toilet trailer, are also possible via these units. Again, there's no need to consider the installation direction or length. Attaching tarpaulins with connecting units is also ideal for creating transition areas. Side panels of marquees can also be combined with matching door elements during installation. Here, too, the independent installation direction is advantageous.
[0039] Tarps and awnings of caravans and motorhomes can be extended as desired by means of connection units according to the invention by means of further elements, whereby individual elements can be designed differently and still be connected to each other without having to pay attention to an installation direction.
[0040] There are greenhouses designed as geodesic domes. Assembling such greenhouses is very complex. First, a geodesic framework must be erected. Then, glass or plastic panes are fitted, and the entire structure is screwed together. The framework bears the load. If triangular greenhouse elements were fitted all around with connecting units according to the invention, and the framework elements were also fitted with connecting units, a greenhouse in the form of a geodesic dome could be offered that simply needs to be slotted together. This is particularly feasible because the connections made of connecting units can also withstand tensile loads. Different materials and colors could also be combined. There are also simple, small herb greenhouses where the roof can be opened, allowing access from above. These herb greenhouses could also be easily assembled from square elements if the connecting units according to the invention were used accordingly.
[0041] Small animal enclosures can be assembled using the same principle as greenhouses. These can consist of either solid or framed wire mesh panels. Assembly is simple, and everything can be easily shipped in individual parts.
[0042] A connecting unit according to the invention can, for example, also be used as a curtain track or drapery rail that can be permanently attached to a ceiling. If the connecting unit is made of a flexible material, radii along its length are also possible. Short connecting units can be attached to a curtain or drapery. The connecting units on the curtain or drapery can then be connected to the connecting unit on the ceiling. The short connecting units do not need to be threaded in from the end as usual, but can be freely clipped into the corresponding section of any length on the ceiling at the desired position. The curtain can still be moved, however.
[0043] Due to their rotatability and ability to withstand tensile forces, it is possible to produce more flexible partitioning systems for suitcases, boxes, and bags using the connection units according to the invention. These also function as freestanding units without stable outer walls. Owomo GmbH
[0044] There are hanging cabinet systems for caravans and bedroom wardrobes. By using the connecting units according to the invention, it would be possible to construct such storage solutions modularly, since the connecting units can be coupled together as desired. It is also conceivable to equip storage systems for commercial vehicles with the connecting units according to the invention. These can then be freely moved and combined.
[0045] The connecting unit according to the invention can also be used in conjunction with backpacks. For example, if a connecting unit is attached continuously to a backpack strap, the strap can be connected to an intermediate piece, which also has a connecting unit attached to it. In contrast to conventional systems, the connecting strap can be easily moved and pulled out at the end to release it. This adjustability increases carrying comfort. Furthermore, there is no need to pay attention to the direction when closing the strap.
[0046] The connecting unit according to the invention can also be used in connection with clothing. Sewn into the chest area, the connecting unit can be coupled to many elements. Work gloves could be equipped with short connecting units and thus easily attached to an object that also has a connecting unit when not in use. In the case of kitchen workwear, a splash guard could be easily replaced via a connection of connecting units. Towels could also be attached using connections of connecting units. The towel could even be used as a splash guard. If a connecting unit is attached to a cap, a lamp, which also has a connecting unit, could be attached to it, for example. The cap could also be attached, for example, to a jacket, which also has a connecting unit.
[0047] When welding, leather aprons can be attached using connecting units. Small tools could also be attached or hung using these units. A connecting unit can be flexibly sewn into trousers, for example, as suspender holders. Aprons, such as those used in butcher shops or fish processing, can also be easily "clicked" or slid together at the back using the connecting units according to the invention. A connection made of connecting units can be used, for example, to attach waterproof trousers to rubber boots. This prevents the trousers from riding up and keeps water out of the boots. This connection can also be implemented for ski boots and trousers, as well as snowboard jackets and trousers. Even in workwear, such as in the fishing industry, trousers and jackets can be perfectly coupled using connecting units, preventing water from entering the trousers.
[0048] A connecting unit according to the invention can also be attached to carpets and runners. Connecting this connecting unit to another connecting unit provides excellent tripping protection. The connection made of connecting units can withstand foot traffic and heavy loads without being damaged. The use of Owomo GmbH would be ideal.
[0049] Connecting units are also suitable for entrance mats that need to be secured against the wind. Carpet tiles that need to stay in place can also be attached using these connecting units. This connection is highly pressure-resistant and can easily withstand being driven over by vehicles. The connecting units according to the invention can also be used on all types of safety helmets. Lamps, visors, goggles, hearing protection, and similar items can be attached to such a helmet using a connection made of these connecting units. The special design of this connection prevents sparks or splinters from flying through it. For example, a connecting unit can be attached under a helmet visor to allow eye protection to be clipped on during chiseling or cutting operations.
[0050] Of course, several short connecting units can also be arranged in a row, spaced apart from each other, and attached to an object. For example, a short connecting unit could be attached to a key. Short connecting units could also be provided with a hole. This would allow, for example, a screwdriver to be hung on the opposite side of a tool wall. Straps could also be attached to tarpaulins using connecting units.
[0051] The connection units according to the invention, or their connection, are ideally suited for creating water and splash protection for all kinds of boxes and devices, such as electrical boxes and the like. One advantage is that the connection itself acts as a self-locking seal. Therefore, no additional retaining clips or similar devices are needed to ensure that a protective cover remains securely attached.
[0052] The connecting units according to the invention can also be used in vehicle construction. For example, add-on parts such as bumpers, side impact protection bars, and the like could be easily attached to a vehicle using a connection made of these connecting units. To remove the parts, they simply need to be pulled out in one direction. Conventionally, holes are drilled into the vehicle to attach these parts. This creates unnecessary rust spots, and when the add-on parts, which are wear parts, are removed, the brackets attached to the holes often break off. At the same time, water can enter the vehicle body through these holes and then has to drain away, for example, through a door. The connecting units according to the invention do not require any holes in the vehicle body.Interior trim panels can be clamped in place and removed again by sliding them when using the connection units according to the invention in commercial vehicles. The same applies to shading devices in the vehicle interior.
[0053] During a vehicle journey, crates can also be secured using connection units according to the invention. For this purpose, the crates must be equipped with connection units that can be connected to connection units on the vehicles. A connection unit can, for example, be attached to a rear wall of a crate, so that a connection Owomo GmbH
[0054] The connection between the linking units can be released if necessary, for example by pulling the box towards a rear door of a vehicle. Boxes can also be connected to each other using linking units, thus securing the load.
[0055] The connecting units according to the invention can, for example, be attached all around a vehicle, such as a connecting rail on the vehicle roof, etc. This allows sunshades and rain covers to be attached to the connecting rail as needed for camping.
[0056] If the connecting units are made of an elastic material, it is also possible to attach one unit all the way to the front of the vehicle, near the hood, as this, unlike a conventional aluminum keder rail, does not pose a risk of injury from sharp edges. With appropriate dimensions, a vehicle may even be towed using a connection made of these connecting units.
[0057] The connecting unit according to the invention, or a connection or connecting device formed therefrom, thus has many different advantageous properties that do not exist in the prior art. For example, due to the symmetrical design of the connecting unit according to the invention, it is possible to connect two such connecting units in two different positions or rotated 180° relative to each other. For example, a triangular protective roof tarpaulin, which has a light side and a dark side, can be attached to a vehicle using a connecting device according to the invention. If a connecting unit is attached to each side of the protective roof tarpaulin, the protective roof tarpaulin can be attached to the vehicle in six different ways, to which another connecting unit is attached for this purpose. Both connecting units of a connecting device are therefore preferably identical in cross-section.The connecting units are identical and symmetrical. This allows for multiple connection directions. When closing such a connection, the overlap of the two connecting units can be selected. For example, the connection can be closed in such a way that, with a horizontal seal formed by the connection, water or dirt runs off the outside of the connection. If the connecting units are offset to close the connection, water or dirt would flow over the inside of the connection. The connecting units can be pushed into one another and / or inserted into each other. The resulting connection has connecting units that are movable relative to each other. The connecting units can be separated by a relative displacement of the connecting units or, in the case of short connecting units, by pressing small tabs on the respective connecting unit, thereby moving the connecting legs apart. The connecting units can also be separated using a special tool. The connecting units are freely calibratable. Owomo GmbH.
[0058] and combinable. No end pieces are required at the ends of the connecting units. One connecting unit can, for example, be split in the middle, so that the other connecting unit does not necessarily have to be pushed all the way out of the first. Unlike conventional connectors, such as those used with keder rails, the stability of the connecting device is determined not by the material, but by its shape. The connecting unit can be designed so that its connecting legs are pre-tensioned against each other, allowing for greater clamping forces. With a certain production volume of the connecting unit, it is possible to incorporate a mechanism that further increases the clamping effect under tension.
[0059] According to an advantageous embodiment, at least one guide projection extending longitudinally along the connecting unit is arranged on each of the facing sides of the connecting legs in a region located between the hook projections and the web. The guide projections are spaced apart relative to each other. These guide projections can be used to guide a free end section of a connecting leg of another connecting unit inserted into the receiving space between the two connecting legs of the connecting unit of the first unit, both during insertion of the connecting leg into the receiving space and after a freely detachable connection has been established between the two connecting units. At least one guide projection can, for example, extend over the entire length of the connecting unit or only over a portion of this length.
[0060] According to a further advantageous embodiment, at least one guide projection has a wedge-shaped cross-section, tapering away from the fastening section. This gives the guide projection an inclined guide surface that rises in the direction of the web or fastening section. This simplifies the insertion of a connecting leg of one connecting unit into the receiving space of the other connecting unit by preventing the connecting leg to be inserted from being blocked or held back by the guide projection.
[0061] According to a further advantageous embodiment, a conductor contact element extending longitudinally along the connection unit is arranged on each guide projection. Conductor contact elements extending longitudinally along the connection unit are arranged on the facing sides of sections of the connecting legs, on the sides of the hook projections facing away from the web. This allows an electrical contact to be established between two interconnected connection units, enabling the connection units to be used, for example, in low-voltage applications with reverse polarity protection. The conductor contact elements are arranged in an inaccessible position on the connection unit, thus reliably preventing unintentional contact. For example, the connecting units can be used to hang an electric Christmas decoration connected to a connecting unit into a connecting unit attached to, for example, a window or the like, or Owomo GmbH.
[0062] To integrate an electric lighting system connected to one connection unit into a barrier or tarpaulin connected to another connection unit, thus eliminating the need for additional wiring of the Christmas decoration or lighting system. Furthermore, the connection units with their conductor contact elements can be used to supply electrical power to, for example, an electric shading system on a window, door, conservatory, or similar structure. This is achieved by connecting one connection unit to the shading system and another connection unit to the window, door, or conservatory component, allowing the shading system to be installed via the connection units and then controlled, for example, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Each conductor contact element is elongated and made of an electrically conductive material. The respective conductor contact element is partially freely positioned on the respective guide projection or on the section of the respective connecting leg. On the respective guide projection, the conductor contact element is arranged such that its cross-section forms a tip of the guide projection. The respective conductor contact element on the respective section of the respective connecting leg can, for example, be strip-shaped, with the width of the strip preferably selected such that, even when two connecting units are connected with limited clearance, the respective strip-shaped conductor contact element remains in continuous contact with the conductor contact element on the respective guide projection.
[0063] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the hook projections are arranged on a free end section of the respective connecting leg, the length of which is shorter than half the length of the respective connecting leg, with the hook projections being arranged at a distance from the free end of the free end section of the respective connecting leg. If two correspondingly designed connecting units are joined together to create a non-destructively detachable connection between the connecting units, the present embodiment allows for a certain degree of play, enabling the joined connecting units to remain movable relative to each other by a specific amount transversely to their longitudinal extents. This allows, for example, the compensation of manufacturing tolerances or the like.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the fastening section is connected in cross-section to a central area of an outer surface of the web, wherein a groove-shaped recess extending over the length of the web is arranged between each longitudinal edge of the outer surface of the web and the fastening section. The groove-shaped recess on the outer surface of the web can be used, for example, to create a non-destructively detachable connection between correspondingly designed connecting units, for example, by a locking unit, such as a locking unit described below, engaging in the groove-shaped recess to exert a locking force on the connecting unit. According to a further advantageous embodiment, the connecting unit is at least partially made of a plastic. This allows the connecting unit to be made partially or completely of plastic.
[0064] It should be designed to be flexible or elastic. This allows the connecting unit to adapt to the shape of an object and, for example, to changes in the object's shape.
[0065] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the connecting unit is monolithic. This allows the connecting unit to be manufactured easily and without the need for assembly steps, for example, using an injection molding or extrusion process. This makes the connecting unit more cost-effective to produce.
[0066] A connecting device according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects comprises at least two connecting units according to one of the aforementioned embodiments or a combination of at least two of these embodiments, wherein one of the connecting units can be attached to one object and the other connecting unit can be attached to the other object. The connecting device offers the advantages mentioned above with regard to the connecting unit. The connecting units can be identical or different. The connecting units can be made of the same material or of different materials in order to adapt the connecting device to various application requirements.
[0067] According to an advantageous embodiment, the connecting device has at least one band-shaped connecting strip with connecting sections arranged on opposite sides of a longitudinal center axis of the connecting strip. On opposite sides of each connecting section of the connecting strip, wedge-shaped hook projections are arranged, extending longitudinally along the connecting strip and tapering towards the nearest longitudinal edge of the connecting strip. The connecting units can be detachably connected to one another via the connecting strip without damage, which is an alternative to a direct connection of the connecting units to each other. To create the non-destructive connection, the connecting strip can be inserted into the receiving space of at least one connecting unit or slid into the receiving space parallel to a longitudinal dimension of the connecting unit. The connecting strip can first be connected to one connecting unit and then to the other. Alternatively, the connecting strip can be connected to both connecting units simultaneously. To release the non-destructive connection, the connecting strip can, for example, be pulled out of the connecting units along their longitudinal dimensions. This alternative method also allows for a simple and quick way to create and release the non-destructive connection between the connecting units. At least one hook projection can extend, for example, over the entire length of the connecting strip or only over a portion of this length. At least one hook projection can have a cross-sectional area in the form of an Owomo GmbH.
[0068] The hook projections form an obtuse triangle, such that the side facing away from the nearest free end or edge of the connecting strip has an undercut. This allows for an even more robust and durable non-destructive connection between at least two objects, especially if all hook projections of the connecting units are designed accordingly.
[0069] When the connecting strip is used as an emergency release element, protective covers, such as those on lifeboats, can be removed very quickly in an emergency. The emergency release element can simply be pulled out of the connecting device at one end. This emergency release could, of course, also be used in various cordoning-off scenarios (concerts, football matches, etc.) to quickly open certain areas in case of panic. The emergency release could also be made of a water-soluble material (e.g., PVA) or a heat-soluble material, such as polycaprolactone (PCL), so that areas could be opened automatically through a physical property of the connecting device or at least one of its connecting units, which is affected by water or heat, for example.
[0070] According to a further advantageous embodiment, at least one guide projection extending longitudinally along the connecting strip is arranged on opposite sides of each connecting section in an area located between the hook projections and the longitudinal center axis of the connecting strip, the guide projections being spaced apart from one another. Each guide projection of the connecting strip serves to guide the connecting strip when it is inserted into a receiving space of another connecting unit. Simultaneously, the guide projections of the connecting strip can serve to maintain a specific distance between the free end sections of the connecting legs of a connecting unit, into whose receiving space the connecting strip is partially inserted.
[0071] According to a further advantageous embodiment, at least one guide projection of the connecting strip has a wedge-shaped cross-section, with this guide projection tapering towards the nearest longitudinal edge of the connecting strip. This allows the free end sections of the connecting legs of the connecting unit to be guided by the guide projections of the connecting strip when the connecting strip is inserted into the receiving space of a connecting unit, thus simplifying the insertion of the connecting strip into the receiving space of the connecting unit.
[0072] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the connecting strip is at least partially made of plastic. This allows the connecting strip to be partially or completely flexible or elastic. This makes it possible for the connecting strip to adapt to the shape of an object and, for example, also to changes in the object's shape. Owomo GmbH
[0073] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the connecting strip is monolithic. This allows the connecting strip to be manufactured easily and without the need for assembly steps. As a result, the connecting strip can be manufactured more cost-effectively.
[0074] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the connecting device has at least one locking unit for connecting the connecting units to each other or for connecting the two connecting units to the connecting strip, wherein the locking unit has a trapezoidal locking receptacle that extends continuously from a flared inlet end of the locking unit to a tapered outlet end of the locking unit and is laterally bounded by a locking projection of the locking unit. The locking unit can, for example, be used to connect two connecting units directly to each other or indirectly to each other via a connecting strip. The locking unit can be slid onto the connecting units along their longitudinal length, thereby moving the connecting units towards each other like a zipper. This causes the hook projections of the connecting units, or of the connecting units and the connecting strip, to progressively interlock. The distance between the locking projections of the locking unit at the flared, entry-side end of the locking unit can be a certain amount greater than the distance between the outer sides of the legs of the connected connecting units.
[0075] According to a further advantageous embodiment, an undercut extending over the entire length of each locking projection is formed on the side of the respective locking projection facing the other locking projection. This prevents the locking unit from detaching from the connecting units when it is slid longitudinally onto them.
[0076] A connection system according to the invention for producing a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects comprises at least one connection unit according to one of the above-mentioned embodiments or a combination of at least two of these embodiments, which can be attached to one of the objects, and at least one coupling unit that can be non-destructively detachable with the connection unit, comprising at least one connection section with a U-shaped cross-section, which has two connecting legs running parallel to each other and a web connecting the connecting legs to each other at their edges, wherein wedge-shaped hook projections extending in the longitudinal direction of the connection unit and tapering away from the web are arranged on opposite sides of the respective connecting leg.
[0077] The connection system offers the same advantages as those mentioned above with regard to the connection unit or connection device. The connection section of Owomo GmbH
[0078] The connecting unit and the connecting section of the coupling unit are preferably identical in design. The coupling unit has at least one coupling section connected to the connecting section, which may, for example, have at least one corresponding connecting section that may be arranged, for example, at an angle to the first-mentioned connecting section. Alternatively, the coupling section may, for example, have at least one connecting tab for connecting the coupling unit to an object. Alternatively, the coupling section may, for example, have a tubular or sleeve-shaped section that can be slid onto a post, pipe, or the like in order to connect the coupling unit to the post, pipe, or the like.

[0108] Fig. 1 shows a schematic end view of an embodiment of a connecting unit 1 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects (not shown). The connecting unit 1 is made entirely of a plastic and is monolithic.
[0109] The connecting unit 1 has a U-shaped connecting section 2 in cross-section, which has two connecting legs 3 and 4 running parallel to each other and a web 5 connecting the connecting legs 3 and 4 to each other at the edge.
[0110] Furthermore, the connecting unit 1 has a band-shaped fastening section 6 connected to the bridge 5, via which the connecting unit 1 can be fastened to one of the objects.
[0111] On opposite sides of the respective connecting leg 3 or 4, wedge-shaped hook projections 7 are arranged, extending in the longitudinal direction of the connecting unit 1 perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 1 and tapering away from the fastening section 6. The hook projections 7 are arranged at a free end section of the respective connecting leg 3 or 4, the length of which is shorter than half of the length L of the respective connecting leg 3 or 4 lying in the plane of Fig. 1. The hook projections 7 are arranged at a distance A from the free end 8 of the free end section of the respective connecting leg 3 or 4. Each hook projection 7 has a cross-sectional area in the form of an obtuse triangle, so that the hook projection 7 forms an undercut on one side facing the web 5.
[0112] On the facing sides of the connecting legs 3 and 4, at least one guide projection 9 is arranged in a region between the hook projections 7 and the web 5, extending in the longitudinal direction of the connecting unit 1 perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 1. The two guide projections 9 are spaced apart from each other. Each guide projection 9 has a wedge-shaped cross-section, tapering away from the fastening section 6.
[0113] The fastening section 6 is connected in cross-section to a central area of an outer surface 10 of the web 5. Between each longitudinal edge of the outer surface 10 of the web 5, perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 1, and the fastening section 6, a groove-shaped recess 11 is arranged, extending over a length of the web 5 perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 1, which forms an undercut.
[0114] Fig. 2 shows a schematic and perspective representation of a longitudinal section of the line shown in Fig.
[0115] The connection unit 1 shown in Figure 1 further clarifies its structure. Owomo GmbH
[0116] Fig. 3A shows a schematic front view of an embodiment of a connection device 12 according to the invention for producing a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects not shown in a first load state.
[0117] The connecting device 12 has two connecting units 1, each configured according to the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2. One of the two connecting units 1 can be attached to one object and the other of the two connecting units 1 can be attached to the other object.
[0118] In Fig. 3A, the two connecting units 1 are inserted into one another in such a way that they are connected to each other in a way that allows them to be detached without damage. To create this connection, the connecting units may have been moved towards each other transversely to their longitudinal directions perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 3A until the state shown in Fig. 3A is reached. Alternatively, the connecting units 1 may have been pushed into one another parallel to their longitudinal directions.
[0119] In the first loading state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 3A, the connecting device 12 is subjected to compression, with the free end 8 of one of the connecting legs 3 of the respective connecting unit 1 bearing against the web 5 of the other connecting unit 1. In this first loading state of the connecting device 12, the hook projections 7 of one connecting unit 1 are arranged at a distance from the hook projections 7 of the other connecting unit 1.
[0120] Fig. 3B shows a schematic end view of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 3A in a second loading state. In the second loading state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 3B, the connecting device 12 is subjected to tensile stress. Here, the hook projections 7 of one connecting unit 1 contact or engage behind the hook projections 7 of the other connecting unit 1. The free ends 8 of the connecting legs 3 of one connecting unit 1 are arranged at a distance from the web 5 of the respective other connecting unit 1.
[0121] Fig. 4A shows a schematic end view of a further embodiment of a connecting device 12 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects (not shown) in a first load state. The connecting device 12 differs from the embodiment shown in Figs. 3A and 3B in that the connecting device 12 additionally has a band-shaped connecting strip 13. The connecting strip 13 is made entirely of a plastic and is monolithic.
[0122] The connecting strip 13 is inserted halfway into the connecting units 1, so that the connecting units 1 are indirectly connected to each other in a non-destructive manner via the connecting strip 13. To establish this connection, the connecting strip 13 can be moved transversely to its longitudinal direction perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 4A towards the connecting units 1 sequentially or simultaneously until the Owomo GmbH shown in Fig. 4A is reached.
[0123] The condition has been reached. Alternatively, the connecting strip 13 may have been pushed into the connecting units 1 parallel to its longitudinal extent.
[0124] The connecting strip 13 has connecting sections 14 arranged on opposite sides of a longitudinal center axis of the connecting strip 13, which is perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 4A. On opposite sides of each connecting section 14 of the connecting strip 13, wedge-shaped hook projections 7 are arranged, extending longitudinally along the connecting strip 13 and tapering towards the nearest longitudinal edge 15 of the connecting strip 13. The hook projections 7 correspond to the hook projections 7 of the connecting units 1.
[0125] On opposite sides of each connecting section 14 of the connecting strip 13, at least one guide projection 15 extending longitudinally along the connecting strip 13 is arranged in a region between the hook projections 7 and the longitudinal center axis of the connecting strip 13, the guide projections 15 being spaced apart from each other. Each guide projection 16 of the connecting strip 13 has a wedge-shaped cross-section, tapering towards the nearest longitudinal edge 15 of the connecting strip 13.
[0126] In the first loading state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 4A, the connecting device 12 is subjected to compression, with the longitudinal edges 16 of the connecting strip 13 bearing against the webs 5 of the connecting units 1. In this first loading state of the connecting device 12, the hook projections 7 of the connecting strip 13 are arranged at a distance from the hook projections 7 of the connecting units 1.
[0127] Fig. 4B shows a schematic end view of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 4A in a second load state. In the second load state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. BB, the connecting device 12 is subjected to tensile stress. In this state, the hook projections 7 of the connecting strip 13 contact or engage behind the hook projections 7 of the connecting units 1. The longitudinal edges 15 of the connecting strip 13 are arranged at a distance from the webs 5 of the connecting units 1.
[0128] Fig. 5 shows a schematic and perspective view of a section of the connecting strip 13 shown in Figs. 4A and 4B, which further clarifies the structure of the connecting strip 13.
[0129] Fig. 6 shows a schematic and perspective view of an embodiment for a locking unit 17 for a locking device according to the invention, which is not shown in further detail. The locking device can, for example, be designed according to the embodiment shown in Figs. 3A and 3B or in Figs. 4A to 5. Accordingly, the locking unit 17 can be used to connect the connecting units shown in Figs. 1 to 4B to each other or to connect the connecting units to the connecting strip shown in Figs. 4B to 5. Owomo GmbH
[0130] The locking unit 17 has a trapezoidal locking receptacle 18 that extends continuously from a widened inlet end 19 of the locking unit 17 to a tapered outlet end 20 of the locking unit 17 and is laterally bounded by locking projections 21 of the locking unit 17. The locking projections 21 are arranged laterally on a base plate 22 of the locking unit 17. Two openings 23 and 24 of different sizes are arranged on the base plate 22. The opening 24 can be accessed manually, for example, to actuate the locking unit 17 to perform a locking operation in which the connecting units are connected to each other or to the connecting strip.
[0131] On one side of each locking projection 21 facing the other locking projection 21, an undercut 25 extending over the entire length of the respective locking projection 21 is formed. This allows the respective locking projection 21 to engage in a groove on the outside of the respective connecting unit, as shown in Figures 1 to 4B.
[0132] Fig. 7 shows a schematic front view of the locking unit 17 shown in Fig. 6, which further clarifies the structure of the locking unit 17.
[0133] Fig. 8 shows a schematic end view of a further embodiment of a connecting unit 1 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects not shown. The connecting unit 1 is made entirely of a plastic and is monolithic.
[0134] The connecting unit 1 differs from the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 4B in that a channel 26 extending longitudinally along the web 5 is formed, and that the web 5 has an outer wall 27 with a V-shaped cross-section, to which the fastening section 6 is centrally connected. When the connecting unit 1 is subjected to tensile stress, the fastening section 6 pulls on the outer wall 27, causing the outer wall 27 to deform elastically towards a flat surface. This moves the sides of the outer wall 27 away from each other, which in turn causes connecting legs 3 and 4 to move towards each other. These legs are pivotally connected to each other via an inner wall 28 of the web 5. Thus, when the connecting unit 1 is subjected to tensile stress, it automatically increases the force with which it is connected to the outer wall 27 shown in Figures 1 to 4B.9 is connected to a further connecting unit not shown or to a connecting strip not shown in Fig. 9.
[0135] By applying pressure to appropriately designed and interconnected connecting units 1, watertightness can be achieved independently. The greater the pressure exerted on the interconnected connecting units 1, the higher the watertightness of the connection made from the connecting units 1. Conventional water protection systems have the problem that they must always be installed from the outside so that the pressure seals the gasket. This also works from the inside, but only with rigid systems, such as lids. Owomo GmbH
[0136] which are tensioned. A connection made of connecting units 1, on the other hand, has the property that the connecting units 1 bond more strongly and seal in the middle as soon as the connection is subjected to tensile stress. This enables, for example, temporary barrier systems (not shown) that can be attached to the inside of buildings (not shown). For example, a semicircular connecting unit (not shown) could be attached around a window (not shown). Then, for example, a tarpaulin (not shown), equipped with another connecting unit (not shown), could be attached to the inside of the first connecting unit. The principle would, of course, also work in flood protection with appropriate dimensioning.
[0137] Regarding the structural similarities, reference is made to the above description of Figs. 1 to 4B to avoid repetition.
[0138] Fig. 9 shows a schematic end view of a further embodiment of a connecting unit 1 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects not shown. The connecting unit 1 is made entirely of a plastic and is monolithic.
[0139] The connecting unit 1 differs from the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 4B and 9 in that two actuating sections 29 forming the recesses 11 are formed on the web 5. By pressing the actuating sections 29 together, they move towards each other, thereby moving the connecting legs 3 and 4 away from each other, which are pivotally connected to each other via the web 5.
[0140] Regarding the structural similarities, reference is made to the above description of Figs. 1 to 4B and 9 to avoid repetition.
[0141] Fig. 10 shows a schematic end view of a further embodiment of a connecting unit 1 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects not shown. The connecting unit 1 is partially made of a plastic and is monolithic with respect to its plastic part.
[0142] The connecting unit 1 differs from the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 4B in that a conductor contact element 30 extending longitudinally along the connecting unit 1 is arranged on each guide projection 9, and conductor contact elements 32 extending longitudinally along the connecting unit 1 are arranged on the facing sides of sections 31 of the connecting legs 3 and 4, on the sides of the hook projections 7 facing away from the web 5. The conductor contact elements 30 and 32 are elongated. In cross-section, the conductor contact elements 30 are located at the tips of the guide projections 9, i.e., at their highest ends. The conductor contact elements 32 are band-shaped or strip-shaped and have a width that corresponds approximately to the distance between the web 5 and the guide projections 9. Owomo GmbH
[0143] Fig. 11A shows a schematic end view of an embodiment of a connecting device 12 according to the invention for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects (not shown) in a first load state. The connecting device 12 has two connecting units 1, each designed according to the embodiment shown in Fig. 10. One of the two connecting units 1 can be attached to one object and the other of the two connecting units 1 can be attached to the other object.
[0144] In Fig. 11A, the two connecting units 1 are inserted into one another in such a way that they are connected to each other in a way that allows them to be detached without damage. To create this connection, the connecting units may have been moved towards each other transversely to their longitudinal directions perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 11A until the state shown in Fig. 11A is reached. Alternatively, the connecting units 1 may have been pushed into one another parallel to their longitudinal directions.
[0145] In the first loading state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 11A, the connecting device 12 is subjected to compression, with the free end 8 of one of the connecting legs 3 of the respective connecting unit 1 bearing against the web 5 of the other connecting unit 1. In this first loading state of the connecting device 12, the hook projections 7 of one connecting unit 1 are arranged at a distance from the hook projections 7 of the other connecting unit 1.
[0146] Fig. 11B shows a schematic end view of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 11A in a second loading state. In the second loading state of the connecting device 12 shown in Fig. 11B, the connecting device 12 is subjected to tensile stress. In this state, the hook projections 7 of one connecting unit 1 contact or engage behind the hook projections 7 of the other connecting unit 1. The free ends 8 of the connecting legs 3 of one connecting unit 1 are arranged at a distance from the web 5 of the other connecting unit 1.
[0147] A comparison of Figs. 11A and 11B makes it clear that physical contact between the respective line contact element 30 and the respective line contact element 32 is continuously maintained regardless of whether the connecting device 12 is subjected to tensile or compressive stress.
[0148] Fig. 12 shows a schematic end view of an embodiment of a coupling unit 33 according to the invention for a connection system 34 for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects not shown. The coupling unit 33 is made entirely of a plastic and is monolithic.
[0149] In addition, the connection system 34 has at least one connection unit shown in Figures 1 to 11B according to one of the above-mentioned embodiments, which can be attached to one of the objects and can be connected to the coupling unit 33 in a non-destructive manner. Owomo GmbH
[0150] The coupling unit 33 has four identical connecting sections 2, each with a U-shaped cross-section. Each connecting section 2 has two parallel connecting legs 3 and 4 and a web 5 connecting the connecting legs 3 and 4 at their edges. On opposite sides of each connecting leg 3, wedge-shaped hook projections 7 are arranged, extending longitudinally along the coupling unit 33 and tapering away from the web 5. If required, conductor contact elements can be arranged on each connecting section 2, as shown in Figures 10 to 11B.
[0151] Furthermore, the coupling unit 33 has a tubular or sleeve-shaped coupling section 35 with a rectangular or square cross-sectional area, which can be slid onto, for example, a tube or post (not shown). The coupling section 35 has four side walls 36, with one of the connecting sections 2 arranged on each side wall 36, such that adjacent connecting sections 2 are aligned at right angles to each other.
[0152] Fig. 13 shows a schematic end view of a further embodiment of a coupling unit 33 according to the invention for a connection system 34 for creating a non-destructively detachable connection between at least two objects (not shown).
