[0001] The present disclosure relates to a disassembly device, a disassembly sorting system, and a disassembly method.
[0002] For the recycling of components contained in waste home appliances, recycling plants manually disassemble waste home appliances to sort and recover high-value components. In recent years, devices that automate the manual work of workers have been developed to improve work efficiency and sorting purity. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a disassembly device that crushes waste home appliances at a crushing position corresponding to the arrangement position of the components constituting the waste home appliances, then drops the crushed waste home appliances downward, and disassembles the waste home appliances by the landing impact.
[0003] Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2022-34326
[0004] The magnitude of the force applied to the disassembly target by the landing impact varies depending on the mass of the disassembly target and the apparatus conditions of the disassembly device such as the drop height of the disassembly target. To improve sorting purity, it is desirable to adjust the magnitude of the force applied to the disassembly target, which is one of the parameters affecting the disassembly result of the disassembly target, according to the apparatus conditions. However, with the device of Patent Document 1, it is difficult to adjust the apparatus conditions after equipment installation. For this reason, the device of Patent Document 1 has a problem that it is difficult to obtain stable disassembly results.

[0008] The dismantling method relating to this disclosure includes a loading step of loading the object to be dismantled into a cylindrical rotating drum, and a dismantling step of dismantling the object by colliding with a collision part inside the rotating drum which is driven to rotate.
[0009] According to the dismantling apparatus, dismantling sorting system, and dismantling method described herein, stable dismantling results can be obtained.

[0011] The following describes, with reference to drawings, an example of a dismantling apparatus, dismantling method, and dismantling sorting system related to this disclosure. In the drawings, identical or corresponding parts are given the same reference number, and their descriptions are omitted without repetition.
[0012] Embodiment 1. <System Configuration of Embodiment 1> First, the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure will be described with reference to Figure 1. Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the dismantling and sorting system 1.
[0013] The dismantling and sorting system 1 dismantles the object to be dismantled WK1 while transporting it, and sorts and recovers the dismantled object WK2, which is the dismantled object WK1. Specifically, the dismantling and sorting system 1 dismantles the object to be dismantled WK1 so that it is separated into the casing and the internal components of the casing.
[0014] The object to be dismantled WK1 is a workpiece having multiple internal components and a housing. Specifically, the object to be dismantled WK1 is a discarded home appliance such as an air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, or television. For example, an air conditioner has multiple internal components such as a heat exchanger, motor, circuit board, or fan, and a housing made of plastic or other resin parts. The dismantled parts WK2 are, for example, dismantled internal components (hereinafter referred to as dismantled parts WK2a), dismantled housing (hereinafter referred to as dismantled housing WK2b), and small fragments generated when the object to be dismantled WK1 is crushed or dismantled (hereinafter referred to as fragments WK2c). For example, if the object to be dismantled WK1 is an air conditioner, the dismantled parts WK2a, such as a motor, circuit board, or fan, a large plastic piece that is the dismantled housing WK2b, and small plastic pieces that are fragments WK2c. Here, the dismantled housing WK2b may be a part of the housing or the entire housing.
[0015] As shown in Figure 1, the dismantling and sorting system 1 comprises a dismantling device 2 and a sorting device 3. The dismantling device 2 is a device that dismantles the object to be dismantled WK1 into dismantled material WK2, and comprises a feeding unit 10, a crushing unit 20, and a rotary drum unit 30. The sorting device 3 is a device that sorts and recovers the dismantled material WK2 dismantled by the dismantling device 2, and comprises a vibration conveying unit 40, a sorting conveying unit 50, a sorting recognition unit 60, a sorting gripping unit 70, and a sorting recovery unit 80.
[0016] <Dismantling device 2> First, let's explain the components of dismantling device 2.
[0017] <Dismantling device 2: Input unit 10> The input unit 10 is a unit that inputs the material to be dismantled WK1 into the crushing unit 20. The input unit 10 consists of a conveyor 11. The conveyor 11 is, for example, a belt conveyor, and the material to be dismantled WK1 is placed on the belt and transported to the crushing unit 20. In order to facilitate the adjustment of the crushing position in the crushing unit 20, it is desirable that the material to be dismantled WK1 be arranged on the conveyor 11 in a fixed orientation. The input unit 10 may further include a position adjustment unit that arranges the material to be dismantled WK1 on the conveyor 11 in a fixed orientation.
[0018] <Demolition device 2: Crushing unit 20> The crushing unit 20 is a unit that crushes the object to be demolished WK1 before it is fed into the rotary drum unit 30. The crushing unit 20 consists of a camera 21, lighting 22, camera mount 23, crushing control unit (not shown), crushing section 24, and conveyor 25. The crushing unit 20 pre-crushes the object to be demolished WK1 at the crushing positions identified by the camera 21, lighting 22, and crushing control unit using the crushing section 24, and then feeds the pre-crushed object to be demolished WK1 into the rotary drum unit 30 using the conveyor 25.
[0019] Camera 21 is configured to capture images used to identify the crushing position of the object to be demolished WK1, which will be crushed by the crushing unit 24 described later. Camera 21 has a shooting range that can capture the entire object to be demolished WK1 that has been placed inside the crushing unit 20. Camera 21 is mounted on the camera mount 23 so that its lens is pointed towards the object to be demolished WK1. Note that camera 21 is not limited to being able to capture the entire object to be demolished WK1. Camera 21 only needs to be able to recognize the crushing position of the crushing unit 24 described later, and may be a sensor that can recognize the shape of the object to be demolished WK1, for example. Such a sensor recognizes the shape of the object to be demolished WK1 by irradiating it with a laser.
[0020] The lighting 22 is configured to illuminate the object to be demolished WK1 so that the camera 21 can acquire a stable image. It is desirable that the lighting 22 be positioned to illuminate the entire object to be demolished WK1. The lighting 22 is attached to the camera mount 23 so that the illuminated surface of the lighting 22 is directed toward the object to be demolished WK1.
[0021] Furthermore, in order to reduce the effect of ambient light on the shooting by the camera 21, a blackout curtain or board to reduce ambient light around the camera 21 and lighting 22 may be provided so as to cover the shooting range of the camera 21. Specifically, a blackout curtain or board to block ambient light may be attached to the camera mount 23.
[0022] The crushing control unit is configured to identify the crushing position of the object to be demolished WK1 based on the image captured by the camera 21 and to control the crushing of the object to be demolished WK1 by the crushing unit 24. Here, the crushing position of the object to be demolished WK1 is the end face of the object to be demolished WK1. The crushing control unit is connected to the camera 21 and identifies the position of the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 from the captured image. The crushing control unit controls the crushing unit 24 to crush the identified end face of the object to be demolished WK1. Note that the above example shows the crushing control unit identifying the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 based on the image captured by the camera 21, but it is not limited to this. The crushing control unit only needs to be able to identify the end face of the object to be demolished WK1, and for example, it may identify the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 based on information obtained from a sensor that recognizes the shape of the object to be demolished WK1. In addition, the crushing control unit may also control the force that the crushing unit 24 applies to the end face of the object to be demolished WK1.
[0023] The crushing unit 24 is configured to crush the object to be demolished WK1. More specifically, the crushing unit 24 crushes the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 as identified by the crushing control unit. Here, crushing the object to be demolished WK1 means deforming at least the housing that constitutes the object to be demolished WK1. Deformation of the housing includes changes in shape compared to before crushing, the occurrence of cracks, and openings in the housing.
[0024] Specifically, the crushing unit 24 is a press mechanism that crushes and crushes the material to be demolished WK1. The press mechanism applies a pressing force to the material to be demolished WK1 that is sufficient to crush it. The press mechanism may be configured so that the pressing distance or pressing force can be controlled by the crushing control unit. By controlling the pressing distance or pressing force, the press mechanism can appropriately crush the material to be demolished WK1 before it is fed into the rotary drum unit 30.
[0025] In the above description, the crushing section 24 is described as a press mechanism, but it is not limited to this. The crushing section 24 may also be a cutting mechanism that crushes the object to be dismantled WK1 by cutting it with a crushing blade. Here, the crushing blade is, for example, a disc-shaped saw or a band saw.
[0026] Furthermore, the crushing unit 24 is configured to be movable in the transport direction in order to adjust the crushing position of the object to be dismantled WK1. Specifically, the crushing unit 24 moves in response to control commands from the crushing control unit and crushes the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1.
[0027] Here, it is desirable that the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 to be crushed by the crushing unit 24 be the end face with the smallest area among the end faces of the object to be demolished WK1. That is, if the object to be demolished WK1 is rectangular in shape, it is desirable that the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 be the small end face. By crushing the end face with a small area using the crushing unit 24, the time required to crush the object to be demolished WK1 can be shortened compared to crushing the end face with a large area. This is because a smaller area to be crushed reduces the distance that the press mechanism or cutting mechanism has to move for crushing. In addition, by crushing the end face with a small area using the crushing unit 24, it is possible to make the object to be demolished WK1 easier to crush, or to reduce the amount of force required for the crushing unit 24 to crush the object to be demolished WK1. If the crushing section 24 is a pressing mechanism and presses the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1, pressing a smaller end face will result in greater surface pressure on the object to be dismantled WK1 than pressing a larger end face. Therefore, pressing a smaller end face makes it easier to crush the object to be dismantled WK1, and the amount of force required to apply to the object to be dismantled WK1 is reduced. If the crushing section 24 is a cutting mechanism and cuts the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1, cutting a smaller end face will result in less cutting resistance because the contact area of the crushing blade is smaller than when cutting a larger end face. Therefore, cutting a smaller end face will result in less force required to apply to the object to be dismantled WK1.
[0028] In particular, when the object to be demolished WK1 is an air conditioner, it is desirable that the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 be the end face. Since the long side of the air conditioner has openings such as air blowers, the end face of the air conditioner has higher strength than the long side. By crushing the end face, which has higher strength, the object to be demolished WK1 can be demolished more reliably.
[0029] Furthermore, the crushing section 24 may be provided in multiple locations so as to be able to crush multiple end faces of the object to be demolished WK1 at once. For example, two crushing sections 24 may be provided so as to be able to crush two end faces of a rectangular object to be demolished WK1 at once.
[0030] In the above description, an example was given in which the crushing unit 24 crushes the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 identified by the crushing control unit, but this is not limited to this example. The crushing unit 24 only needs to be able to crush the end face of the object to be demolished WK1, and for example, the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 may be crushed by setting the position of the crushing tool in advance according to the size of the object to be demolished WK1 that is being fed into the unit.
[0031] The conveyor 25 is a transport configuration for the dismantled object WK1, which is used to load and unload the dismantled object WK1 in the crushing unit 20. The conveyor 25 is located below the crushing section 24. For example, the conveyor 25 is a roller conveyor. A roller conveyor is a conveyor in which multiple rotating cylindrical parts, called rollers, are installed at predetermined intervals, and it moves objects using the rotating rollers. The crushed fragments WK2c generated when the dismantled object WK1 is crushed by the crushing section 24 fall from between the rollers of the roller conveyor. In other words, the roller conveyor allows for the sorting of the crushed fragments WK2c. The crushed fragments WK2c are smaller fragments than the dismantled parts WK2a and the dismantled casing WK2b, and are, for example, small pieces of plastic that are part of the casing of the dismantled object WK1.
[0032] A conveyor 51 and a collection box 81c are provided at the bottom of the roller conveyor for collecting the crushed fragments WK2c. The conveyor 51 and collection box 81c collect the crushed fragments WK2c that fall from between the rollers of the roller conveyor. Alternatively, the crushed fragments WK2c may be collected using only the collection box 81c without the conveyor 51.
[0033] Figure 1 shows an example where the conveyor 25 is a roller conveyor, but it is not limited to this. For example, the conveyor 25 may be a belt conveyor. A belt conveyor is a conveyor that moves objects by rotating a belt, which is a strip-shaped component. When the conveyor 25 is a belt conveyor, the crushed pieces WK2c are sorted by the rotary drum unit 30, which will be described later.
[0034] As described above, the crushing unit 20 pre-crushes the crushing position of the demolition target WK1 identified by the camera 21 and the control unit using the crushing section 24, and then feeds the pre-crushed demolition target WK1 into the rotary drum unit 30 via the conveyor 25. The crushing unit 20 may be covered with a plate or the like to prevent the crushed pieces WK2c from scattering. In this case, the plate may be provided with an input port and an output port for the demolition target WK1, and the input port and output port may be configured to open and close automatically. Furthermore, the camera 21 and lighting 22 may be covered with a transparent plate to prevent them from being hit by the crushed pieces WK2c.
[0035] Furthermore, Figure 1 shows an example in which only a crushing unit 24 is provided as a configuration for pre-crushing the material to be dismantled WK1 before it is fed into the rotary drum unit 30, but the system is not limited to this. In addition to the crushing unit 24, the crushing unit 20 may also be further provided with a second crushing unit (not shown) that drops the material to be dismantled WK1 downwards so that the end faces of the material WK1 crushed by the crushing unit 24 become the bottom surface.
[0036] Specifically, the second crushing unit includes a dropping mechanism for dropping the object to be demolished WK1, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the posture of the object to be demolished WK1 as it falls. For example, the second crushing unit includes an opening / closing platform that opens and closes to drop the object to be demolished WK1 placed on it as the dropping mechanism, and a gripping unit that grips the object to be demolished WK1 so as to be rotatable around the gripping position as the adjustment mechanism. When the object to be demolished WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 24, is placed on the opening / closing platform with its end face facing downwards, opening the opening / closing platform allows the object to be demolished WK1 to fall downwards so that the end face of the object to be demolished WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 24, faces downwards. When the object to be demolished WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 24, is placed on the opening / closing platform with its end face facing downwards, the gripping unit grips the object to be demolished WK1 placed on the opening / closing platform at a position further from the end face than the center of gravity of the object to be demolished WK1. When the opening / closing platform is opened after the gripping unit has gripped the object to be dismantled WK1, the object to be dismantled WK1 rotates around the gripping position due to the rotational moment caused by gravity, changing its orientation so that the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1 becomes the bottom surface. After the orientation has changed, the gripping unit releases its grip, allowing the object to be dismantled WK1 to fall downward so that the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 24, becomes the bottom surface. Note that the specific configuration of the second crushing unit is not limited to the above. For example, instead of a gripping unit, a configuration may be used in which the object to be dismantled WK1 is placed on the opening / closing platform so that the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 24, becomes the bottom surface.
[0037] The second crushing section allows for the crushing of the object to be demolished WK1 by dropping it downwards, thereby accelerating the crushing of WK1 due to the impact of landing. In particular, if the end face of the object to be demolished WK1 crushed by the crushing section 24 is a smaller end face of the object to be demolished WK1, the surface pressure applied to WK1 due to the impact of landing will be greater than that applied to a larger end face. Therefore, the crushing of WK1 can be accelerated more efficiently.
[0038] Furthermore, the crushing unit 20 may include, in addition to the crushing section 24, a third crushing section (not shown) that further crushes an end face of the demolition target object different from the end face of the demolition target object WK1 crushed by the crushing section 24. In other words, the third crushing section may perform crushing in a direction 90 degrees relative to the direction in which crushing is performed by the crushing section 24. Here, the third crushing mechanism may be a press mechanism or a cutting mechanism. According to the third crushing section, crushing of the demolition target object WK1 can be promoted. The crushing unit 20 may be provided with the second crushing section and the third crushing section in addition to the crushing section 24, or may be provided with only either one of them.
[0039] <Demolition Apparatus 2: Rotary Drum Unit 30> The rotary drum unit 30 is a unit that demolishes the demolition target object WK1 using a rotary drum 31 described later. The demolition target object WK1 crushed by the crushing unit 20 is fed into the rotary drum unit 30.
[0040] The rotary drum unit 30 is composed of a rotary drum 31, a rotation drive section (not shown), a rotation control section (not shown), a support section (not shown), and a support control section (not shown).
[0041] The rotary drum 31 has a cylindrical configuration, into which the demolition target object WK1 is loaded, and which discharges the demolished object WK2 that is the demolished form of the demolition target object WK1. The rotary drum 31 is, for example, in a cylindrical shape.
[0042] The rotary drum 31 has a plurality of sieve sorting holes 32 on its side face for sieve-sorting the demolished object WK2. Specifically, the sieve sorting holes 32 are holes having a diameter smaller than that of the demolished component WK2a and the demolished housing WK2b. Fragments WK2c, which are one type of the demolished object WK2 generated when the demolition target object WK1 is demolished by the rotary drum 31, fall through the sieve sorting holes 32. According to the sieve sorting holes 32, the fragments WK2c, which are one type of the demolished object WK2, can be sorted out.
[0043] The rotary drum 31 rotates about the central axis of the cylinder as the rotation axis by a rotation drive unit that rotationally drives the rotary drum 31. By rotating the rotary drum 31 in a state where the object to be disassembled WK1 is charged into the interior of the rotary drum 31, contact between the objects to be disassembled WK1 or contact between the object to be disassembled WK1 and the inner peripheral surface of the rotary drum 31 occurs, and the object to be disassembled WK1 is disassembled. Here, the contact between the object to be disassembled WK1 and the inner peripheral surface of the rotary drum 31 occurs when the object to be disassembled WK1, which has been lifted up to a certain angle by the rotation of the rotary drum 31, falls inside the rotary drum 31 due to gravity.
[0044] Further, the rotary drum 31 is supported by a support portion such that the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane. Specifically, the support portion supports the rotary drum 31 in an inclined manner so as to slope downward from the charging side to the discharge side of the rotary drum 31. For this reason, the object to be disassembled WK1 charged into the interior of the rotary drum 31 moves from the charging side to the discharge side inside the rotary drum 31 by gravity while being disassembled by contact between the objects to be disassembled WK1 or contact between the object to be disassembled WK1 and the inner peripheral surface of the rotary drum 31.
[0045] The rotation speed of the rotary drum 31 is controlled by a rotation control unit. Specifically, the rotation control unit is connected to the rotation drive unit, and controls the rotational driving of the rotary drum 31 by the rotation drive unit. The rotation drive unit adjusts the rotation speed of the rotary drum 31 in accordance with the control from the rotation control unit.
[0046] The degree to which the objects to be dismantled WK1 placed inside the rotating drum 31 are dismantled changes depending on the rotation speed of the rotating drum 31. For example, if the rotation speed is moderately high, the force applied to the objects to be dismantled WK1 by contact with each other or with the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 is greater than when the rotation speed is low. If the rotation speed is too high, the centrifugal force becomes greater than when the rotation speed is low, preventing the objects to be dismantled WK1 from falling inside the rotating drum 31, and the number of times the objects to be dismantled WK1 come into contact with the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 (number of collisions) decreases. The greater the force applied to the objects to be dismantled WK1, or the more times force is applied to the objects to be dismantled WK1 (number of collisions), the greater the degree to which the objects to be dismantled WK1 are dismantled. Thus, the magnitude of the force applied to the object to be demolished WK1, and the number of times the force is applied to the object to be demolished WK1 (number of collisions), are parameters that affect the demolition result of the object to be demolished WK1, and the rotational speed of the rotary drum 31 is one of the device conditions for adjusting these parameters. The rotational control unit can adjust the rotational speed to obtain a stable demolition result. The rotational speed of the rotary drum 31 required to obtain a stable demolition result varies depending on the weight of the object to be demolished WK1, the diameter of the rotary drum 31, and the shape of the collision section 33 or the support section 34 provided inside the rotary drum 31, which will be described later. It is desirable that the rotational control unit be configured to adjust the rotational speed according to these conditions.
[0047] The support unit supports the rotary drum 31 so that the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane can be changed, and this inclination angle α is controlled by the support control unit. In detail, the support control unit is connected to the support unit and controls the change in the inclination angle α made by the support unit. The support unit changes the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane according to the control from the support control unit.
[0048] The degree to which the object to be dismantled WK1 placed inside the rotary drum 31 is dismantled changes depending on the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane. For example, as the inclination angle α approaches 0, that is, as it approaches horizontal, the object to be dismantled WK1 tends to remain inside the rotary drum 31, and the number of times the object to be dismantled WK1 comes into contact with each other, or with the inner surface of the rotary drum 31 (number of collisions), increases, resulting in a greater degree of dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1. Thus, the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane is one of the device conditions for adjusting the number of times force is applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 (number of collisions). The support control unit can adjust the inclination angle α to obtain stable dismantling results.
[0049] Next, the internal structure of the rotary drum 31 will be explained using Figure 2-6. Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the rotary drum 31. Figure 3-6 is an unfolded view (hereinafter referred to as the unfolded view) of the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31 laid flat. In Figure 3, the direction of rotation of the rotary drum 31 and the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 are indicated by arrows.
[0050] As shown in Figure 2, impact parts 33 and gripping parts 34 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31. The impact parts 33 and gripping parts 34 are configured to facilitate the dismantling of the object WK1 to be dismantled that is fed into the rotary drum 31.
[0051] First, let's explain the collision unit 33. The collision unit 33 is attached to the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 and is configured to dismantle the object to be dismantled WK1 by colliding with it. More specifically, the collision unit 33 applies force to dismantle the object to be dismantled WK1 by colliding with the object to be dismantled WK1 which is rotating inside the rotating drum 31, or with the object to be dismantled WK1 which is lifted to a certain angle inside the rotating drum 31 and falls due to gravity.
[0052] The impact portion 33 is a columnar member extending perpendicular to the inner circumferential surface of the rotating drum 31. It is desirable that the impact portion 33 be made of a material with excellent impact resistance.
[0053] The impact section 33 has a pointed tip. Here, the tip is the end of the impact section 33 on the rotation axis side of the rotary drum 31. With an impact section 33 having a pointed tip, the surface pressure applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 is greater when it collides with the object to be dismantled WK1 compared to when the tip is not pointed. Therefore, with an impact section 33 having a pointed tip, it is easier to dismantle the object to be dismantled WK1 compared to when the tip is not pointed. Thus, the surface pressure applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 is one of the parameters that affect the dismantling result of the object to be dismantled WK1, and the shape of the impact section 33 is a device condition for adjusting this parameter. With an impact section 33 having a pointed tip, the surface pressure applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 can be increased compared to an impact section 33 with a non-pointed tip, and the degree of dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1 can be increased.
[0054] Furthermore, the tip angle of the impact section 33 may be obtuse. When the tip angle of the impact section 33 is obtuse, the object to be dismantled WK1 is less likely to get caught than when it is acute, and the object to be dismantled WK1 is less likely to remain inside the rotating drum 31. Therefore, when the tip angle of the impact section 33 is obtuse, the object to be dismantled WK1 is easier to pass to the next process than when it is acute. In other words, the shape of the impact section 33 is also one of the device conditions for adjusting the number of times force is applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 (number of impacts). By adjusting the shape of the impact section 33, stable dismantling results can be obtained.
[0055] The impact section 33 is attached, for example, to the sieving hole 32. The impact section 33 may also be detachably provided on the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31.
[0056] Multiple collision parts 33 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31. The arrangement of the multiple collision parts 33 on the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31 will be explained using Figure 3. As shown in Figure 3, multiple rows of collision parts 33a are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31 at intervals in the direction of the rotation axis. Here, a row of collision parts 33a is a row configured so that multiple collision parts 33 are arranged at intervals. The rows of collision parts 33a are arranged along the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view (see Figure 3(a)), or along a direction having an inclination θ with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view (see Figure 3(b)). In other words, the collision section row 33a shown in Figure 3(a) consists of multiple collision sections 33 mounted at intervals in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view, while the collision section row 33a shown in Figure 3(b) consists of multiple collision sections 33 mounted at intervals in a direction inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view.
[0057] The degree to which the object to be dismantled WK1 placed inside the rotary drum 31 is dismantled changes depending on the arrangement of the collision section row 33a. As shown in Figure 3(a), when the collision section row 33a is arranged along the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view, the collision section 33 obstructs the movement of the object to be dismantled WK1 toward the discharge side, making it easier for the object to be dismantled WK1 to remain inside the rotary drum 31. As shown in Figure 3(b), when the collision section row 33a is arranged along a direction with an inclination θ with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view, the collision section 33 does not obstruct the movement of the object to be dismantled WK1 toward the discharge side as much as when it is arranged along the circumferential direction, making it easier for the object to be dismantled WK1 to remain inside the rotary drum 31. Thus, the arrangement of the collision section row 33a is one of the device conditions for adjusting the number of times force is applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 (number of collisions). Therefore, by adjusting the arrangement of the collision section row 33a, stable dismantling results can be obtained.
[0058] Furthermore, it is desirable to change the arrangement of the collision section row 33a according to the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31. For example, if the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31 as viewed from the input side is clockwise, the collision section row 33a is arranged along a direction that has an inclination θ toward the input side with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view. If the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31 as viewed from the input side is counterclockwise, the collision section row 33a is arranged along a direction that has an inclination θ toward the discharge side with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view. By arranging the collision section row 33a according to the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31, a flow that pushes the material to be dismantled WK1 toward the discharge side can be formed, and the accumulation of the material to be dismantled WK1 can be suppressed. By adjusting the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31 in correspondence with the arrangement of the collision section row 33a, stable dismantling results can be obtained.
[0059] The spacing of the collision parts 33 is preferably shorter than the length of the shortest side constituting the object to be demolished WK1. If the spacing of the collision parts 33 is longer than the length of the object to be demolished WK1, there is a possibility that there will be times during the rotation of the rotary drum 31 when the object to be demolished WK1 does not come into contact with the collision parts 33. By making the spacing of the collision parts 33 shorter than the length of the object to be demolished WK1, the object to be demolished WK1 and the collision parts 33 can always be in contact during the rotation of the rotary drum 31. Alternatively, the spacing of the collision parts 33 may be set so that the number of collision parts 33 that come into contact with a single object to be demolished WK1 at one time is reduced. The fewer collision parts 33 that come into contact with a single object to be demolished WK1 at one time, the greater the surface pressure on the object to be demolished WK1, and the more efficiently the crushing of the object to be demolished WK1 can be promoted.
[0060] In the above description, an example was given in which the collision portion 33 is a columnar member, but the collision portion 33 may also be plate-shaped. For example, the collision portion 33 may be configured such that the collision portion row 33a shown in Figures 3 and 4 is replaced with plate-shaped collision portions 33. More specifically, as shown in Figures 4(a) and 4(b), multiple plate-shaped collision portions 33 may be attached at intervals in the rotation axis direction of the rotary drum 31, mounted along the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view (Figure 4(a)), or in a direction inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view (Figure 4(b)). Also, as shown in Figure 4(c), multiple plate-shaped collision portions 33 may be attached at intervals in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31, mounted along the rotation axis direction of the rotary drum 31.
[0061] Next, the lifting part 34 will be described. The lifting part 34 is attached to the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 and is configured to dismantle the object to be dismantled WK1 by lifting it upward in the direction of gravity and causing it to collide with the inner surface of the rotating drum 31. In detail, the lifting part 34 hooks onto the object to be dismantled WK1 inside the rotating drum 31, lifts it to a certain angle, and then lets it fall due to gravity, causing it to collide with the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 or the collision part 33, thereby applying force to the object to be dismantled WK1 and dismantling it.
[0062] The length Hp of the lifting portion 34 in the direction perpendicular to the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 is greater than the height Cg of the center of gravity of the object to be demolished WK1. Here, if the object to be demolished WK1 is rectangular, the height Cg of the center of gravity of the object to be demolished WK1 is the height from the long side to the center of gravity. Also, if the object to be demolished WK1 is rectangular, the length Hp of the lifting portion 34 may be greater than half the length of the short side of the object to be demolished WK1. With this configuration, when the rotating drum 31 rotates, the object to be demolished WK1 will rest stably on the lifting portion 34, lifting the object to be demolished WK1 to a high position and increasing the force applied to the object to be demolished WK1 when it falls.
[0063] The support portion 34 is plate-shaped and mounted along the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31. The support portion 34 is attached, for example, to the sieving hole 32. The support portion 34 may also be detachably provided on the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31.
[0064] As shown in Figure 3, multiple support parts 34 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31. More specifically, multiple support parts 34 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31 at intervals in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum.
[0065] The spacing of the support parts 34 in the circumferential direction should preferably be longer than the length of the longest side constituting the object to be demolished WK1. By making the spacing of the support parts 34 in the circumferential direction longer than the length of the object to be demolished WK1, the object to be demolished WK1 can be stably placed on the support parts 34.
[0066] In the above description, an example was given in which the support portion 34 is plate-shaped, but the support portion 34 may also be a columnar member. More specifically, the support portion 34 may be a columnar member attached in multiple ways to the inner surface of the rotating drum 31. That is, the support portion 34 may be configured such that the plate-shaped support portion 34 shown in Figure 5 is replaced by multiple columnar support portions 34. The spacing D1 of the columnar support portions 34 in the direction of the rotation axis is set to be shorter than the length of the longest side constituting the object to be demolished WK1. If the spacing D1 of the columnar support portions 34 in the direction of the rotation axis is longer than the length of the object to be demolished WK1, the object to be demolished WK1 may fall between the columnar support portions 34, making it impossible to lift the object to be demolished WK1. By making the spacing D1 of the columnar support portions 34 in the direction of the rotation axis shorter than the length of the object to be demolished WK1, the plate-shaped support portion 34 can be replaced.
[0067] As described above, the rotary drum unit 30 dismantles the material to be dismantled WK1 fed into the crushing unit 20 by the rotation of the rotary drum 31, which is driven by the rotary drive unit. Furthermore, the impact part 33 and the support part 34 attached to the inner surface of the rotary drum 31 accelerate the dismantling of the material to be dismantled WK1 fed into the rotary drum 31. The dismantling by the rotary drum unit 30 can be adjusted by the rotation speed of the rotary drum 31, the inclination angle α of the rotary drum 31, the arrangement of the impact part 33, and the shape of the impact part 33, etc.
[0068] In the above example, the impact portion 33 and the gripping portion 34 are provided on the inner circumferential surface of the rotating drum 31, but this is not the only example. The impact portion 33 and the gripping portion 34 are not required to be provided on the inner circumferential surface of the rotating drum 31, and only one of them may be provided. Furthermore, the inner circumferential surface of the rotating drum 31 may be provided with a configuration that combines the functions of both the impact portion 33 and the gripping portion 34.
[0069] In the above description, an example was given in which the support part supports the rotary drum 31 at an inclination so that it slopes downward from the input side to the discharge side of the rotary drum 31, but it is not limited to this. The support part may support the rotary drum 31 horizontally, or it may support the rotary drum 31 at an inclination so that it slopes upward from the input side to the discharge side of the rotary drum 31. When the support part supports the rotary drum 31 at an inclination so that it is horizontal or sloped upward, as shown in Figure 6, the columnar support part 34 is arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 (Figure 6(a)) or in a direction inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view (Figure 6(b)), depending on the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31. As shown in Figure 6(a), when the columnar support part 34 is arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31, the spacing D2 of the columnar support part 34 in the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 is installed at a spacing shorter than the length of the longest side constituting the object to be demolished WK1. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 6(b), when the columnar support parts 34 are arranged in a direction inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view, the spacing D3 of the columnar support parts 34 in the direction inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary drum 31 in the unfolded view is shorter than the length of the longest side constituting the object to be demolished WK1. With the support parts 34 arranged in this way, a flow is formed that pushes the object to be demolished WK1 toward the discharge side, allowing the demolished object WK2 to be discharged even when the rotary drum 31 is supported horizontally or on an incline.
[0070] Furthermore, although the above example shows the rotary drum 31 as cylindrical, it may also be polygonal, as shown in Figure 7(a). When the rotary drum 31 is polygonal, it may be constructed from a combination of multiple flat plates 31a, as shown in Figures 7(b) and 7(c). A polygonal rotary drum 31 constructed from multiple flat plates 31a makes maintenance and assembly easier. Also, compared to a cylindrical rotary drum 31, the polygonal rotary drum 31 makes it less likely for the object to be dismantled WK1 to slide around inside during rotation. Therefore, a polygonal rotary drum 31 may be able to lift the object to be dismantled WK1 to a sufficient height without attaching the lifting part 34. If the lifting part 34 is not attached to the inner surface of the rotary drum 31, the rotary drum 31 can be made smaller. However, if it is desired to lift the object to be dismantled WK1 to a higher height, the lifting part 34 may be attached to the polygonal rotary drum 31.
[0071] <Sorting device 3> Next, we will explain the components of sorting device 3.
[0072] <Sorting device 3: Vibration conveying unit 40> The vibration conveying unit 40 is a unit that collects the dismantled material WK2 discharged from the rotary drum unit 30 and conveys it to the sorting conveying unit 50. The vibration conveying unit 40 consists of a vibration feeder 41 and a base 42.
[0073] The vibratory feeder 41 consists of a trough 43 on which the demolition material WK2 is loaded, and a vibratory drive unit 44 that transmits vibrations. The demolition material WK2 loaded on the trough 43 of the vibratory feeder 41 is transported by the vibrations of the vibratory drive unit 44, spreading out in the width direction on the bottom surface of the trough 43. Specifically, the demolition material WK2 piled up on the trough 43 is transported by the vibratory feeder 41 while being leveled out.
[0074] The trough 43 has a rectangular shape, and the width of its bottom surface is narrower than the width of the conveyor belt of the sorting and conveying unit 50. The height of the walls of the trough 43 is sufficient to prevent the dismantled material WK2 from flying out of the trough 43 during vibration conveying by the vibration drive unit 44. A material with excellent wear resistance is selected for the trough 43.
[0075] It is advisable to insert an elastic material such as a spring or rubber between the vibrating feeder 41 and the base 42 to provide vibration damping measures for vibrations transmitted from the vibrating drive unit 44 of the vibrating feeder 41 to the base 42.
[0076] The length of the trough 43 is set to be sufficient so that the dismantled material WK2 can spread out in the width direction across the bottom surface of the trough 43 by the time it is transported, falls from the tip of the trough 43, and is fed into the sorting and transporting unit 50.
[0077] Alternatively, instead of using the vibrating feeder 41, the dismantled material WK2 may be directly fed into the sorting and conveying unit 50, and then the brush 26 may be moved back and forth in the width direction of the conveyor to bring the dismantled material WK2 into contact with the brush 26, thereby spreading the dismantled material WK2 in the width direction on the conveyor.
[0078] <Sorting device 3: Sorting and conveying unit 50> The sorting and conveying unit 50 is a unit that conveys the dismantled material WK2 to the sorting and recognition unit 60, the sorting and gripping unit 70, and the sorting and recovery unit 80. The sorting and conveying unit 50 consists of a conveyor 51.
[0079] The conveyor 51 is, for example, a belt conveyor. The width of the conveyor belt of the conveyor 51 is such that the dismantled material WK2 can be sufficiently spread out on the conveyor belt using the vibrating conveying unit 40. The material of the conveyor belt is preferably one that has excellent cut resistance and impact resistance. Note that the conveyor 51 is not limited to a belt conveyor; for example, a slat conveyor may also be used. A slat conveyor has a conveying surface that is made of metal and therefore has higher durability than a belt conveyor.
[0080] <Sorting device 3: Sorting recognition unit 60> The sorting recognition unit 60 is a unit that identifies specific dismantled items from the dismantled items WK2 in order to sort specific dismantled items from the dismantled items WK2. Here, a specific dismantled item is a dismantled item that is sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70. Below, an example is described in which dismantled parts WK2a are sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70 as a specific dismantled item, and dismantled housings WK2b are recovered without being sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70. Note that the specific dismantled item may also be dismantled housings WK2b, and the dismantled item that is not sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70 may also be dismantled parts WK2a. The sorting recognition unit 60 consists of a camera 61, lighting 62, camera mount 63, and a sorting control unit (not shown).
[0081] Camera 61 is configured to capture images used to identify dismantled parts WK2a from among the dismantled materials WK2. Camera 61 has a shooting range that allows it to photograph the dismantled materials WK2 loaded on the conveyor 51, which is the sorting and transporting unit 50. Specifically, camera 61 has a field of view about the width of the conveyor belt 51 and is mounted on camera stand 63 so as to face the conveyor 51.
[0082] The lighting 62 is configured to illuminate the object to be demolished WK2 so that the camera 61 can acquire a stable image. The lighting 62 is positioned to illuminate the entire object to be demolished WK1. Specifically, the lighting 62 is mounted on the camera mount 63 so that the illuminated surface of the lighting 62 faces the conveyor 51 within the shooting range.
[0083] Furthermore, in order to reduce the effect of ambient light on the shooting by the camera 61, a blackout curtain or board to reduce ambient light around the camera 61 and lighting 62 may be provided so as to cover the shooting range of the camera 61. Specifically, a blackout curtain or board to block ambient light may be attached to the camera mount 63.
[0084] The sorting control unit identifies dismantled parts WK2a from the dismantled material WK2 based on the image captured by the camera 61, and outputs the information necessary for sorting and gripping to the sorting and gripping unit 70. Here, the information necessary for sorting and gripping includes the type, position, and height of the dismantled parts WK2a. The control unit is connected to the camera 61 and recognizes the dismantled material WK2 from the captured image and identifies the dismantled parts WK2a. The sorting control unit may also use a trained model that has been trained on images of multiple types of dismantled material WK2 that have been captured in advance to recognize the dismantled material WK2 and identify the dismantled parts WK2a from the captured image.
[0085] <Sorting device 3: Sorting and gripping unit 70> The sorting and gripping unit 70 is a unit that grips the dismantled parts WK2a identified by the sorting and recognition unit 60 and transports them to the sorting and recovery unit 80. The sorting and gripping unit 70 receives the information necessary for sorting and gripping from the sorting control unit of the sorting and recognition unit 60 and grips the sorted items. The sorting and gripping unit 70 consists of a Cartesian robot 71 and a hand 72.
[0086] The Cartesian robot 71 is, for example, a robot having four axes: X, Y, Z, and θ. The hand 72 has a gripping force capable of grasping the dismantled parts WK2a and transporting them to the sorting and collection unit 80. The hand 72 may be adapted to the material of the dismantled parts WK2a. For example, if the dismantled parts WK2a are made of a material that can be magnetically attracted, such as iron, a magnetic chuck that uses magnetic force to attract the dismantled parts WK2a may be used as the hand 72. If the dismantled parts WK2a are lightweight materials such as plastic, a vacuum chuck that uses air to attract the dismantled parts WK2a may be used as the hand 72. The hand 72 may also be a gripping unit with multiple claws that can be opened and closed. The sorting and gripping unit 70 may be constructed using an articulated robot instead of the Cartesian robot 71 and the hand 72.
[0087] <Sorting device 3: Sorting and recovery unit 80> The sorting and recovery unit 80 is a unit that sorts and recovers the dismantled materials WK2. Specifically, the sorting and recovery unit 80 recovers the dismantled parts WK2a sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70, the dismantled casings WK2b that were not sorted and grasped, and the crushed pieces WK2c generated when the dismantling device 2 crushes or dismantles the object to be dismantled WK1. The sorting and recovery unit 80 consists of a recovery box 81 that recovers and stores the dismantled parts WK2a, the dismantled casings WK2b, and the crushed pieces WK2c, respectively.
[0088] Figure 1 shows an example in which the system includes three collection boxes 81: a collection box 81a for collecting dismantled parts WK2a that have been sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70; a collection box 81b for collecting dismantled housings WK2b that have not been sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70; and a collection box 81c for collecting crushed pieces WK2c that have fallen from the conveyor 25 or the sieve sorting holes 32.
[0089] Here, the number of collection boxes 81 may be increased according to the number of types of dismantled materials WK2 to be sorted. For example, if two dismantled parts WK2a, a heat exchanger and a motor, are to be sorted from the dismantled materials WK2 by the sorting and gripping unit 70, then, as shown in Figure 8, two collection boxes 81a for collecting the dismantled parts WK2a gripped by the sorting and gripping unit 70 may be provided within the movable range of the sorting and gripping unit 70. Note that the number of collection boxes 81a is not limited to two, and multiple boxes may be provided according to the number of types of dismantled parts WK2a to be sorted. Also, the number of collection boxes 81 may be increased according to the number of dismantled materials WK2 to accommodate the flow rate of the dismantled materials WK2.
[0090] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 9, depending on the number of types of dismantled materials WK2 to be sorted, or the number of dismantled materials WK2, the sorting recognition unit 60, sorting gripping unit 70, and sorting recovery unit 80 may be provided in multiple locations in the transport direction of the conveyor 51 of the sorting transport unit 50.
[0091] <Dismantling and sorting method according to Embodiment 1> Next, the procedure for the dismantling and sorting method using the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 1 will be explained with reference to Figure 10. Figure 10 is a flowchart of the dismantling and sorting method according to Embodiment 1.
[0092] As shown in Figure 10, the dismantling and sorting method according to Embodiment 1 includes an input step S101, a crushing step S102, a dismantling step S103, a dispersion step S104, a recognition step S105, and a sorting step S106. Of these, the input step S101 and the crushing step S102 are procedures of the dismantling method performed by the dismantling device 2, while the dispersion step S104, the recognition step S105, and the sorting step S106 are procedures of the sorting method performed by the sorting device 3.
[0093] First, in the input process S101, the material to be dismantled WK1 is fed into the dismantling device 2. For example, in the input process S101, a conveyor connected to the crushing unit 20 of the dismantling device 2 transports the material to be dismantled WK1 to the crushing unit 20 and feeds it in. It is desirable that the material to be dismantled WK1 be arranged in a certain orientation on the conveyor to facilitate the crushing of the ends of the material by the crushing unit 20.
[0094] Next, in the crushing step S102, the object to be dismantled WK1 is crushed. Specifically, in the crushing step S102, the crushing unit 20 of the dismantling device 2 crushes the end of the object to be dismantled WK1. The object to be dismantled WK1, which has been transported to the crushing unit 20, is identified by the camera 21 and crushing control unit of the crushing unit 20, which identify the position of the end of the object to be dismantled, which is the crushing position. The crushing control unit controls the crushing section 24 to crush the identified end face of the object to be dismantled WK1. The crushing section 24 crushes the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1 in accordance with the control command from the crushing control unit. The object to be dismantled WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing section 24, is transported to the rotary drum unit 30 by the conveyor 25.
[0095] Furthermore, the crushed fragments WK2c generated when the demolition target WK1 is crushed by the crushing unit 24 fall from the conveyor 25 provided by the crushing unit 20 and are collected by the conveyor 51 and collection box 81c provided below the conveyor 25. Alternatively, the crushed fragments WK2c may be transported to the rotary drum unit 30 together with the demolition target WK1 crushed by the crushing unit 24, fall from the sieve sorting holes 32 formed in the rotary drum 31 provided by the rotary drum unit 30, and be collected by the conveyor 51 and collection box 81c provided below the rotary drum 31.
[0096] Before being transported to the rotary drum unit 30, the second crushing section may drop the object to be dismantled WK1 downwards so that the end faces crushed by the crushing section 24 become the bottom surface, thereby further crushing the object to be dismantled WK1. Alternatively, the third crushing section may crush an end face of the object to be dismantled WK1 that is different from the end face crushed by the crushing section 24.
[0097] In the dismantling process S103, the object to be dismantled WK1 is dismantled. More specifically, in the dismantling process S103, the object to be dismantled WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 20, is dismantled by the rotary drum unit 30. First, the object to be dismantled WK1, which has been crushed by the crushing unit 20, is fed into the cylindrical rotary drum 31 of the rotary drum unit 30. In the rotary drum 31, the object to be dismantled WK1 is dismantled by contact between the objects to be dismantled WK1 themselves, contact between the objects to be dismantled WK1 and the inner surface of the rotary drum 31, or collision between the objects to be dismantled WK1 and the collision part 33 attached to the inner surface of the rotary drum 31. The magnitude of the force applied to object WK1, the surface pressure applied to object WK1, and the number of collisions between object WK1 and collision part 33, which are parameters that affect the demolition result of object WK1, are adjusted by the rotation speed of the rotary drum 31, the inclination angle α of the rotary drum 31, the arrangement of collision part 33, and the shape of collision part 33, etc.
[0098] Furthermore, the crushed fragments WK2c generated during the dismantling of the object WK1 by the rotary drum 31 fall through the sieve sorting holes 32 formed in the rotary drum 31 and are collected by the conveyor 51 and collection box 81c located below the rotary drum 31.
[0099] In the dispersion process S104, the dismantled material WK2 obtained from the dismantled object WK1 is recovered. Specifically, in the dispersion process S104, the vibrating transport unit 40 and the sorting transport unit 50 transport the dismantled material WK2 discharged from the rotary drum unit 30 to the sorting recognition unit 60, the sorting gripping unit 70, and the sorting recovery unit 80 while dismantling it. First, the dismantled material WK2 is fed onto the trough 43 of the vibrating feeder 41 of the vibrating transport unit 40. The dismantled material WK2 fed onto the trough 43 moves in a straight line while spreading out in the width direction of the trough 43 due to the vibration of the vibrating drive unit 44 of the vibrating feeder 41. The dismantled material WK2 that has spread out in the width direction of the trough 43 falls from the tip of the trough 43 and is fed onto the conveyor 51 of the sorting transport unit 50. At this time, the tip of the trough 43 and the conveyor 51 are kept at a sufficient distance from each other so that the dismantled material WK2 can spread sufficiently in the width direction of the conveyor 51 when it falls from the tip of the trough 43. The conveyor 51 of the sorting and transporting unit 50 transports the dismantled material WK2 that has been fed in from the tip of the trough 43 to the sorting and recognition unit 60.
[0100] In the recognition step S105, the dismantling part WK2a is identified in order to select and recover a specific dismantling part WK2a from the dismantling material WK2. Specifically, the sorting recognition unit 60 identifies the dismantling part WK2a from the dismantling material WK2 and outputs the information necessary for sorting and grasping to the sorting and grasping unit 70. The conveyor 51, which is the sorting and transport unit 50, transports the dismantling material WK2 so that it passes through the shooting range of the camera 61 of the sorting recognition unit 60. From the image captured by the camera 61, the sorting recognition unit 60 acquires information necessary for sorting and grasping, such as the type of object to be sorted, the position of the object, and the height of the object, through the sorting control unit. The sorting control unit outputs the acquired information necessary for sorting and grasping to the sorting and grasping unit 70.
[0101] In the sorting process S106, dismantled parts WK2a are sorted and recovered from the dismantled material WK2. Specifically, the sorting and recovery unit 80 recovers the dismantled parts WK2a that have been grasped by the sorting and gripping unit 70. First, the sorting and gripping unit 70 receives the information necessary for sorting and gripping from the sorting control unit of the sorting recognition unit 60 and grasps the object to be sorted. Specifically, when the dismantled parts WK2a are transported by the conveyor 51, which is the sorting and transporting unit 50, to a range that the sorting and gripping unit 70 can grasp, the hand 72 of the sorting and gripping unit 70 approaches the dismantled parts WK2a. The sorting and gripping unit 70 grasps the dismantled parts WK2a with the hand 72 and transports them to above the recovery box 81a, which is the sorting and recovery unit 80, and ends the gripping of the dismantled parts WK2a above the recovery box 81a. Furthermore, the dismantled materials WK2 that were not sorted and grasped by the sorting and grasping unit 70 are transported to the collection box 81b by the conveyor 51, which is the sorting and transporting unit 50.
[0102] <Effects of Embodiment 1> The operation and effects of the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and sorting method according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure will be described.
[0103] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure comprises a cylindrical rotary drum 31 into which the object to be demolished WK1 is fed and for dismantling the demolished object WK2, which is the demolished object WK1; a rotary drive unit that rotates the rotary drum 31; and an impact unit 33 attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31, which dismantles the object to be demolished WK1 by colliding with it.
[0104] The dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure comprises the above-mentioned dismantling device 2 and a sorting device 3 that sorts and collects the dismantled material dismantled by the dismantling device 2.
[0105] The demolition method according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure includes a loading step of loading the object to be demolished WK1 into a cylindrical rotary drum 31, and a demolition step of demolishing the object to be demolished WK1 by colliding with a collision part 33 attached to the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31 which is driven to rotate.
[0106] According to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure, the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and sorting method are used to dismantle the object WK1. By using a rotary drum 31 for dismantling the object WK1, parameters affecting the dismantling of the object, such as the magnitude of the force applied to the object WK1, the surface pressure applied to the object WK1, and the number of collisions between the object WK1 and the collision section 33, can be easily adjusted even after the equipment has been installed. Therefore, according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure, the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and dismantling method can be easily controlled to control the degree of dismantling of the object WK1, and stable dismantling results can be obtained. Stable dismantling results also lead to improved sorting purity.
[0107] Furthermore, according to the first embodiment of this disclosure, the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and dismantling method can further increase the surface pressure applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 by the collision portion 33 provided on the inner surface of the rotary drum 31, thereby accelerating dismantling using the rotary drum 31. In addition, the surface pressure applied to the object to be dismantled WK1 and the number of collisions with the object to be dismantled WK1 can be adjusted by the shape and arrangement of the collision portion 33. Therefore, with the dismantling apparatus 2 equipped with the collision portion 33, the degree of dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1 can be easily controlled, and stable dismantling results can be obtained.
[0108] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure includes a support part that supports a rotary drum 31 so as to be able to change the inclination angle α of the rotation axis with respect to the horizontal plane, and a support control unit that controls the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane. With the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the support part and the support control unit, the number of collisions between the object to be demolished WK1 and the collision part 33 can be easily adjusted by adjusting the inclination angle α of the rotary drum 31. Therefore, with the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the support part and the support control unit, the degree of demolition of the object to be demolished WK1 can be easily controlled, and a stable demolition result can be obtained.
[0109] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure includes a rotation control unit that controls the rotational speed of a rotary drum 31. With the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with a rotation control unit, the magnitude of the force applied to the object to be demolished WK1 can be easily adjusted by adjusting the rotational speed of the rotary drum 31. Therefore, with the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with a rotation control unit, the degree of demolition of the object to be demolished WK1 can be easily controlled, and a stable demolition result can be obtained.
[0110] Furthermore, the demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure further includes a crushing unit 24 for crushing the object to be demolished WK1 before it is fed into the rotary drum 31. The demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the crushing unit 24 can reduce the force required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1 by the rotary drum 31, and reduce the number of collisions with the collision unit 33 required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1. Therefore, the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the crushing unit 24 can perform demolition by the rotary drum 31 in a short amount of time.
[0111] Furthermore, the crushing section 24 of the dismantling device 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure crushes the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1. There is a high probability that fastening components such as screws connecting the housing and internal components of the housing that constitute the object to be dismantled WK1 are present on the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1. According to the above-described dismantling device 2, since the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1 is crushed, the dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1 can be efficiently promoted. In addition, while Patent Document 1 adjusts the crushing position according to the arrangement of internal components of the housing, which are difficult to identify from the image, the dismantling device 2 of this disclosure uses the end face of the object to be dismantled WK1, which can be easily determined from the image, as the crushing position, making it easy to identify the crushing position. Therefore, the dismantling device 2 of this disclosure can perform sufficient crushing more easily than Patent Document 1.
[0112] Furthermore, if the object to be dismantled WK1 is an air conditioner, it is preferable that the crushing section 24 crushes the smaller end face of the object to be dismantled WK1. If the object to be dismantled WK1 is an air conditioner, the longer end face, which has a larger area, is equipped with openings such as a vent, so the smaller end face has higher strength than the longer end face. By crushing the stronger end face in advance, crushing can be performed more reliably. In addition, by crushing the end face in advance, the distance that the press mechanism or cutting mechanism has to move for crushing is shortened compared to when the longer end face is crushed in advance, thus shortening the time required for the crushing process. Also, by crushing the long end face after crushing the end face, the object to be dismantled WK1 can be dismantled without significantly deforming it when crushing the long end face. If the dismantled object WK2 is not significantly deformed, the sorting accuracy when the sorting device 3 sorts the dismantled object WK2 can be improved, thus improving the sorting purity.
[0113] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure may further include a second crushing section that drops the object to be demolished WK1 downwards so that the end faces crushed by the crushing section 24 become the downward surface. The demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the second crushing section can further reduce the force required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1 by the rotary drum 31, and reduce the number of collisions with the collision section 33 required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1. Therefore, the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the second crushing section can perform demolition by the rotary drum 31 in a shorter time.
[0114] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure may further include a third crushing section that further crushes end faces of the object to be demolished that are different from the end faces crushed by the crushing section 24. The demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the third crushing section can further reduce the force required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1 by the rotary drum 31, and reduce the number of collisions with the collision section 33 required to demolish the object to be demolished WK1. Therefore, the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the third crushing section can perform demolition by the rotary drum 31 in a shorter time.
[0115] The demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure further comprises a lifting part 34 that lifts the object to be demolished WK1 upward in the direction of gravity and causes it to collide with the inner surface of a rotating drum 31, thereby demolishing the object to be demolished WK1. Furthermore, the length Hp of the lifting part 34 in the direction perpendicular to the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 is greater than the height Cg of the center of gravity of the object to be demolished WK1. With the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the lifting part 34, the object to be demolished WK1 can be lifted without slipping inside the rotating drum 31 and dropped inside the rotating drum 31. Therefore, with the demolition apparatus 2 equipped with the lifting part 34, the object to be demolished WK1 can be caused to collide with the inner surface of the rotating drum 31 or the collision part 33, thereby more reliably demolishing the object to be demolished WK1.
[0116] Furthermore, the rotary drum 31 of the dismantling apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure has a plurality of sieve-sorting holes 32 on its side for sieving and sorting smaller fragments WK2c than the dismantled material WK2. With the dismantling apparatus 2 having sieve-sorting holes 32, dismantling and sorting can be performed simultaneously. Therefore, the dismantling and sorting system 1 equipped with the above-mentioned dismantling apparatus 2 can perform sorting in a shorter time than conventional dismantling and sorting systems. In addition, with the dismantling apparatus 2 having sieve-sorting holes 32, fine fragments WK2c that interfere with camera recognition for sorting dismantled parts WK2a can be eliminated, making it possible to improve the camera recognition rate for sorting dismantled parts WK2a.
[0117] Embodiment 2. The same reference numerals are used for the same components as in Embodiment 1 of this disclosure, and descriptions of the same or corresponding parts are omitted. Hereinafter, the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 2 will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0118] Figures 11 and 13 are schematic diagrams of the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 2. Compared to Embodiment 1, the dismantling and sorting system in this embodiment differs in the shape of the rotary drum 31 and the operation of the rotary drum 31. As shown in Figure 11, the rotary drum 31 in this embodiment has a rotary drum bottom surface 35. The rotary drum bottom surface 35 is installed to close the opening of the rotary drum 31 on the opposite side of the input port for the dismantling object WK1. Therefore, the input port for the dismantling object WK1 and the discharge port for the dismantled material WK2 are configured as the same opening 36.
[0119] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the support unit 37 and the support control unit (not shown) are configured to dynamically change the inclination angle α of the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31 with respect to the horizontal plane, for example, within a range of approximately +90 degrees to -90 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane.
[0120] Figure 12 is a schematic diagram of the rotary drum 31. Figure 12(a) shows the rotary drum 31 viewed from the side, and Figure 12(b) shows the rotary drum 31 viewed from the opening 36. As shown in Figure 12(b), the bottom surface 35 of the rotary drum may have a bottom impact portion 38 that protrudes inward from the rotary drum 31. In this embodiment, the bottom impact portion 38 is a columnar member that extends inward from the rotary drum 31, parallel to the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31. The bottom impact portion 38 may also have a pointed tip, similar to the impact portion 33 in Embodiment 1. The arrangement of the bottom impact portion 38 is not particularly limited, but for example, multiple portions may be arranged at equal intervals so as to be radial or concentric with respect to the center of the rotary drum bottom surface 35. In addition, the bottom surface 35 of the rotary drum may be provided with a lifting portion 34 for lifting the object to be dismantled WK1. When the rotary drum 31 is driven to rotate with a small inclination angle α, the object to be demolished WK1 is lifted upward in the direction of gravity by the lifting part 34, then falls and collides with the inner surface or bottom surface 35 of the rotary drum 31, thereby enabling efficient demolition. Furthermore, it is desirable that the bottom surface 35 of the rotary drum be made of a material with excellent impact resistance that has sufficient strength to withstand the impact of the object to be demolished WK1.
[0121] Although not shown in Figure 12(b), the rotary drum 31 may have an impact portion 33 and a gripping portion 34 on its inner circumferential surface, similar to Embodiment 1. In this embodiment, the rotary drum 31 only needs to have at least one of the impact portion 33 and the bottom impact portion 38 inside. Similarly, the gripping portion 34 only needs to be provided on at least one of the bottom surface 35 of the rotary drum and the inner circumferential surface of the rotary drum 31.
[0122] The operation of the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to this embodiment differs from that of Embodiment 1 in the dismantling process S103. In the dismantling process S103, the inclination angle of the rotary drum when the object to be dismantled WK1 is loaded into the rotary drum unit 30 is α 1 Therefore, first, the support control unit tilts the opening 36 of the rotary drum 31 upwards at an angle α 1 Set the following. In this state, the demolition material WK1 crushed by the crushing unit 20 is fed into the rotary drum 31. At this time, as shown in Figure 13, the inclination angle α 1 The angle can be set to approximately +90 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane, and the object to be demolished WK1 can be dropped from above so that the impact of the fall is received by the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum. In this case, it is preferable to provide a bottom impact section 38 on the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum so that the impact of the fall of the object to be demolished WK1 is received by the bottom impact section 38 provided on the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum. This can promote the initial crushing of the object to be demolished WK1.
[0123] After the object to be dismantled WK1 is placed inside the rotary drum, the support control unit changes the inclination angle α to an arbitrary angle, for example, 0 degrees. In this state, the rotary drum 31 is rotated by the rotary drive unit, and the object to be dismantled WK1 is dismantled. It is preferable to set the inclination angle α so that 0 ≤ α ≤ 90 until the object to be dismantled WK1 is dismantled. This makes it easy to increase the number of collisions between the object to be dismantled WK1 and the collision part 33 or bottom collision part 38 provided inside the rotary drum 31, enabling more reliable dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1. At this time, in order to disperse the object to be dismantled WK1 inside the rotary drum 31, the rotary drum 31 may be controlled to swing by periodically changing the inclination angle α. Swinging the rotary drum 31 improves the randomness of the collision positions between the object to be dismantled WK1 and the collision part 33 or bottom collision part 38 inside the rotary drum 31, making it possible to proceed with dismantling more efficiently. In addition, the rotation direction of the rotary drum 31 may be switched and reversed at any time. This also improves the randomness of the collision position between the object to be dismantled WK1 and the collision section 33 or the bottom collision section 38 within the rotary drum 31, making it possible to proceed with dismantling more efficiently.
[0124] Once the demolition of object WK1 is complete, the demolition material WK2 is discharged. The tilt angle of the rotary drum 31 at this time is α 2 Therefore, the support control unit is configured such that the opening 36 is below the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum, i.e., α 2 The inclination angle α is set to < 0. 2 By setting this, the dismantled material WK2 is allowed to fall by gravity and discharged outside the rotating drum 31.
[0125] <Effects of Embodiment 2> The operation and effects of the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and sorting method according to Embodiment 2 of this disclosure will be described.
[0126] In the dismantling apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of this disclosure, the support control unit controls the inclination angle α so that it differs when the object to be dismantled WK1 is loaded and when it is discharged. According to the dismantling apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of this disclosure, the discharge timing of the dismantled material WK2 can be controlled by the inclination angle α of the rotary drum 31, making it possible to control the degree of dismantling even more easily than in Embodiment 1. This is particularly effective when it is desired to increase the number of collisions between the object to be dismantled WK1 and the collision section 33 or the bottom collision section 38.
[0127] In addition, in the configuration of Embodiment 1, the rotary drum 31 needed to have a certain length in the direction of the rotation axis in order to hold the object to be dismantled WK1 inside the rotary drum 31. However, according to the dismantling apparatus 2 of Embodiment 2 of this disclosure, the axial length of the rotary drum 31 can be reduced to the minimum necessary, thereby reducing the installation area of the apparatus.
[0128] Furthermore, in the demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of this disclosure, the rotary drum 31 has a rotary drum bottom surface 35, and the support control unit controls the inclination angle α to such an angle that the object to be demolished WK1 collides with the bottom surface when the object to be demolished WK1 is loaded. According to the demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of this disclosure, the initial crushing of the object to be demolished WK1 can be promoted by having the rotary drum bottom surface 35 receive the impact of the fall when the object to be demolished WK1 is loaded.
[0129] Furthermore, in the demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of the present disclosure, the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum has a bottom impact section 38 that, within the rotating drum 31, collides with the object to be demolished WK1 to demolish it, thereby demolishing the object WK1. According to the demolition apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 2 of the present disclosure, the impact of the object to be demolished WK1 when it is loaded or when it is demolished is received by the bottom impact section 38 provided on the bottom surface 35 of the rotating drum, thereby further promoting the crushing of the object to be demolished WK1.
[0130] Embodiment 3. The same reference numerals are used for the same components as in Embodiment 1 of this disclosure, and descriptions of the same or corresponding parts are omitted. Hereinafter, the dismantling and sorting system 1 according to Embodiment 3 will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0131] Figure 14 is a schematic diagram of the rotary drum 31 and impact section 33 according to this embodiment. Figure 14(a) shows the rotary drum 31 viewed from the side, and Figure 14(b) shows the rotary drum 31 viewed from the opening. The dismantling and sorting system 1 in this embodiment has a different configuration of the impact section 33 compared to Embodiment 1. As shown in Figure 14, the impact section 33 in this embodiment is provided on the outside of the rotary drum 31 and is configured to protrude into the inside of the rotary drum 31 through the sieving and sorting holes 32 on the side of the rotary drum 31.
[0132] In this embodiment, the impact portion 33 is columnar or plate-shaped, similar to Embodiment 1, and multiple impact portions are provided on the outer circumference of the impact portion support member 39, which is a cylindrical or tubular member. These multiple impact portions 33 are provided at the same intervals as the spacing between the sieve sorting holes 32 provided in the rotary drum 31, in the longitudinal axis direction and the outer circumference direction of the impact portion support member 39. The impact portion support member 39, on which the impact portions 33 are provided, is installed outside and below the rotary drum 31, parallel to the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31. Furthermore, the impact portion support member 39 is rotationally driven in conjunction with the rotation of the rotary drum 31 by an independent drive unit (not shown), separate from the rotation drive unit (not shown) that drives the rotary drum 31. With these configurations, when the rotary drum 31 and the impact portion support member 39 are rotationally driven, the impact portions 33 provided on the impact portion support member 39 penetrate the sieve sorting holes 32 and protrude into the interior of the rotary drum 31. In addition, the collision support member 39 is configured to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31.
[0133] The operation of the dismantling and sorting system 1 in this third embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment in the dismantling process S103. In the dismantling process S103, before the object to be dismantled WK1 is transported into the rotary drum 31, the impact support member 39 is moved to adjust its position in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31. The position of this impact support member 39 may change over time after the object to be dismantled WK1 is put into the rotary drum 31, or it may be changed as appropriate depending on the progress of the dismantling of the object to be dismantled WK1. After the position adjustment of the impact support member 39 is completed, the object to be dismantled WK1 is transported into the rotary drum 31, and the rotary drum 31 and the impact support member 39 are driven to rotate. At this time, the rotary drum 31 and the impact support member 39 rotate in conjunction, so that the positions of the sieving holes 32 provided on the side of the rotary drum 31 and the impact part 33 provided on the impact support member 39 engage, causing the impact part 33 to protrude inward into the rotary drum 31. The object to be dismantled WK1, which has been lifted upward in the direction of gravity by the lifting part 34, is dismantled when it collides with this impact part 33 upon falling.
[0134] <Effects of Embodiment 3> The operation and effects of the dismantling apparatus 2, dismantling and sorting system 1, and sorting method according to Embodiment 3 of this disclosure will be described.
[0135] The dismantling apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 3 of the present disclosure includes a collision support member 39 that is installed on the outside of the rotary drum 31 so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotary drum 31, and has collision portions 33 that protrude inward from a plurality of holes (sieve sorting holes 32) provided in the rotary drum 31. According to the dismantling apparatus 2 according to Embodiment 3 of the present disclosure, the degree to which the collision portions 33 protrude into the inside of the rotary drum 31 can be adjusted, so the degree of dismantling can be controlled more precisely according to the usage conditions, etc. In addition, by providing the collision portions 33 on the outside of the rotary drum 31, replacement of the collision portions 33 becomes easier, which has the effect of improving maintainability.
[0136] Although the present disclosure has been described above based on each embodiment, the present disclosure is not limited to the configuration of each embodiment. Furthermore, modifying or omitting each embodiment as appropriate is also within the scope of the technical idea of the present disclosure.
