Description

Feeding tube cart

[0001] The present invention relates to a feeding tube cart capable of automatically and smoothly supplying raw materials to automated equipment.

[0002] Wafers used in the semiconductor or solar power industries are generally manufactured using the Czochralski method. In the Czochralski method, a molten raw material is placed inside a crucible, and a seed crystal rod in contact with the molten raw material is slowly pulled up to produce a single crystal from the molten raw material, such as silicon. The single crystal mass produced in this way is generally referred to as an ingot, and the ingot can be sliced thinly to manufacture substrates.

[0003] Meanwhile, an ingot grower is an automated device used to grow single-crystal ingots, such as silicon ingots. The ingot grower fills a crucible with the raw material to be grown and applies heat to the crucible to melt the material. The ingot grower brings a single-crystal seed into contact with the molten material and then grows the single-crystal ingot by rotating and raising the seed upward.

[0004] Such ingot growers require a cart that can automatically supply ingot raw materials with minimal human input.

[0005] The background technology of the present invention is disclosed in Korean Published Patent Application No. 2011-0107258 (published September 30, 2011, title of invention: Ingot Grower).

[0006] The objective of the present invention is to provide a feeding tube cart capable of automatically and smoothly supplying raw materials to automated equipment.

[0007] A feeding tube cart according to the present invention comprises: a base; one or more rotating shaft members rotatably coupled to the base; a tube mount coupled to the rotating shaft members to rotate together with the rotating shaft members and on which a feeding tube is mounted; and a rotary drive member disposed on the base and connected to the rotating shaft members to rotate the tube mount at an angle.

[0008] The above-mentioned rotating shaft may include: a rotating shaft corresponding to the tube mount and coupled to the tube mount so as to rotate together with the tube mount; and a plurality of fixing clamps to which the rotating shaft is rotatably coupled and fixed to the base.

[0009] The above-mentioned rotating shaft is positioned horizontally, and the above-mentioned fixed clamps can be coupled to both sides in the longitudinal direction of the above-mentioned rotating shaft.

[0010] The above-mentioned fixed clamp may include a bearing portion coupled to the rotating shaft; and a fixed bracket surrounding the bearing portion and fixed to the base.

[0011] The above tube mount may include: a base on which the lower side of the feeding tube is seated; a support frame connected to the base, surrounding the base side of the feeding tube, and having the opposite side of the base open; and a tube restraint part that restrains the feeding tube by pressing it against the support frame.

[0012] A portion of the base and the support frame may be supported by the base to prevent the support frame from rotating to the opposite side of the base.

[0013] The support frame may include: a plurality of support fillers extending upward from the base and disposed on both sides of the feeding tube; one or more support connectors that support the base side of the feeding tube and connect the plurality of support fillers; and one or more shaft coupling parts extending from the support connector and coupled to the rotating shaft part so as to rotate together with the rotating shaft part.

[0014] A seating guide that contacts the outer surface of the feeding tube may be formed in the support connector.

[0015] The tube restraint portion may include: a restraint band portion fixed to one side of the support frame and surrounding the side opposite the base of the feeding tube; and a restraint clamp coupled to the other side of the support frame and restraining the other side of the restraint band portion to the support frame.

[0016] The above restraint band portion corresponds to the support connector of the support frame, and the restraint clamp can be coupled to the support frame.

[0017] The restraint clamp may include: a clamp bracket fixed to the other side of the support frame; a clamp lever rotatably coupled to the clamp bracket; an adjustment bolt rotatably connected to the clamp lever; and a restraint ring screw-coupled to the adjustment bolt and restraining the other side of the restraint band portion.

[0018] The above feeding tube cart may further include a buffer installed to prevent the tube mount from rotating more than a certain angle toward the base.

[0019] The above buffer may include a buffer frame erected on the base; and an inclined member installed at an angle on the tube mount and contacting the buffer frame when the rotation angle of the tube mount exceeds a certain angle.

[0020] The above inclined member may include a plurality of inclined rods extending upwardly at an angle from the tube mount; and a crossbar connecting the plurality of inclined rods and contacting the buffer frame when the tube mount is rotated beyond a certain angle.

[0041] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a feeding tube cart and an autonomous transport robot according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a state in which an autonomous transport robot is moved to the lower part of the feeding tube cart according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a schematic side view illustrating a feeding tube cart according to the present invention.

[0042] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a feeding tube cart (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a base (110), a rotating shaft (120), a tube mount (130), and a rotating drive unit (150).

[0043] A feeding tube cart (100) is equipped with a feeding tube (10) filled with raw materials. An autonomous transport robot (200) (ARM) moves to the lower side of the feeding tube cart (100) equipped with the feeding tube (10), and then transfers the feeding tube cart (100) to an automated equipment (300) (AFE). The feeding tube cart (100) is tilted by the automated equipment (300) and then supplies raw materials to the automated equipment (300). The automated equipment (300) includes an ingot grower for growing a single-crystal ingot.

[0044] The base (110) includes a base frame (111) mounted on the autonomous transport robot (200). The base frame (111) is equipped with a rotation axis part (120), a tube mount (130), and a rotation drive part (150), etc. The base frame (111) may be formed with a structure in which horizontal members and vertical members are arranged in a grid shape to reduce the load. A plurality of lifting members (112) are installed on both sides of the base frame (111) so as to protrude to both sides. The lifting members (112) are supported by a lift (320) of the automation equipment (300) so that the lift (320) can raise the base frame (111).

[0045] A plurality of leg sections (113) are installed on the base frame (111). The plurality of leg sections (113) provide a space in the lower part of the base frame (111) where an autonomous transport robot (200) can enter. Casters (114) are installed at the lower part of the plurality of leg sections (113). The casters (114) rotate when the autonomous transport robot (200) moves the base (110) to facilitate the movement of the base (110).

[0046] One or more rotation shafts (120) may be arranged to be rotatably coupled to the base (110). The rotation shafts (120) may be arranged at the rear of the base (110) relative to the transport direction. The rotation shafts (120) may be arranged parallel to the horizontal direction of the base (110).

[0047] A tube mount (130) is coupled to a rotating shaft (120) so as to rotate together with the rotating shaft (120), and a feeding tube (10) is mounted thereon. Since the feeding tube (10) receives raw materials, it is also referred to as a barrel. The feeding tube (10) can be formed in the shape of a circular pipe or a polygonal pipe overall. The tube mount (130) restrains the feeding tube (10) in an upright position. The feeding tube (10) can be transported in an upright or tilted state. Additionally, when the feeding tube (10) is transported in a tilted state, the feeding tube (10) made of quartz material can be protected. This minimizes shaking caused by vibrations, etc., when the feeding tube cart (100) is transported by an autonomous transport robot (200). Two or more tube mounts (130) can be installed on the base (110).

[0048] FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate a structure in which two tube mounts (130) are installed on the base (110), but three or more may be installed. As the number of tube mounts (130) installed increases, the number of feeding tubes (10) mounted may increase.

[0049] The rotary drive unit (150) is positioned on the base (110) and connected to the rotation shaft (120) to rotate the tube mount (130) at an angle. After the tube mount (130) reaches the automation equipment (300), when the rotary drive unit (150) rotates the rotation shaft (120), the tube mount (130) connected to the rotation shaft (120) tilts forward. At this time, since the feeding tube (10) is tilted at a certain angle forward (toward the automation equipment (300)), the feeding tube (10) can be positioned on the automation equipment (300) so that it can smoothly supply raw materials.

[0050] The rotation shaft portion (120) includes a rotation shaft (121) and a plurality of fixed clamps (122) (see FIGS. 8 to 10). The rotation shaft (121) can be positioned in a one-to-one correspondence with the tube mount (130). The rotation shaft (121) is positioned horizontally on the base (110), and the fixed clamps (122) are coupled to both longitudinal sides of the rotation shaft (121).

[0051] The fixed clamp (122) includes a bearing portion (123) coupled to a rotating shaft (121) and a fixed bracket (124) surrounding the bearing portion (123) and fixed to a base (110). The rotating shaft (121) is fitted into the bearing portion (123), and the fixed bracket (124) supports the outer side of the bearing portion (123) so that the bearing portion (123) can rotate. The fixed bracket (124) is fixed to the base (110) by a fastening member such as a bolt.

[0052] FIG. 4 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a tube mount of a feeding tube cart according to the present invention, FIG. 5 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a support frame of a tube mount according to the present invention, FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a support connector and a restraining clamp according to the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a restraining clamp according to the present invention.

[0053] Referring to FIGS. 4 through 7, the tube mount (130) may include a base (131), a support frame (132), and a tube restraint (136).

[0054] The lower side of the feeding tube (10) rests on the base (131). The base (131) may be formed in the shape of a circular panel or a polygonal panel. Additionally, a position fixing projection (not shown) may be formed protruding from the periphery of the base (131) to restrain the lower side of the feeding tube (10). The position fixing projection may be formed in a circular or near-circular shape.

[0055] The support frame (132) is connected to the base (131) and surrounds the base (110) side of the feeding tube (10), and the opposite side of the base (110) can be open. The base (131) can be supported by the support frame (132). The rear side of the support frame (132) is open so that the feeding tube (10) is drawn into the interior of the support frame (132), and the front side of the support frame (132) (base (110) side) is closed to support the feeding tube (10). Thus, the feeding tube (10) can be easily drawn into and withdrawn from the support frame (132).

[0056] The tube restraint (136) can restrain the feeding tube (10) by pressing it against the support frame (132). The tube restraint (136) blocks the rear side of the support frame (132) to prevent the feeding tube (10) from moving out to the rear side after being inserted into the support frame (132). Multiple tube restraints (136) may be installed in the vertical direction of the support frame (132).

[0057] A portion of the base (131) and the support frame (132) can be supported by the base (110) to prevent the support frame (132) from rotating to the opposite side of the base (110) (see FIG. 3). That is, the support frame (132) can be prevented from rotating while coupled to the rotation axis portion (120), and the lower side of the base (131) and the support frame (132) can be in close contact with the rear side of the base (110) to prevent the support frame (132) from rotating. Thus, the feeding tube (10) can be transported stably while standing upright.

[0058] The support frame (132) may include a plurality of support fillers (133), one or more support connectors (134), and one or more shaft coupling parts (135).

[0059] A plurality of support fillers (133) extend upward from the base (131) and can be placed on both sides of the feeding tube (10). The support fillers (133) can be erected vertically on both sides of the feeding tube (10).

[0060] One or more support connectors (134) support the base (110) side of the feeding tube (10) and can connect a plurality of support fillers (133). The support connectors (134) can be arranged horizontally on the plurality of support fillers (133) to support the front side of the feeding tube (10). The plurality of support connectors (134) can be arranged vertically spaced apart on the support fillers (133).

[0061] One or more shaft coupling portions (135) extend from the support connector (134) toward the base (110) and may be coupled to the rotational shaft portion (120) so as to rotate together with the rotational shaft portion (120). The shaft coupling portion (135) extends toward the rotational shaft portion (120) to rotate the support frame (132) together with the rotational shaft portion (120). The shaft coupling portion (135) extends from one support connector (134) positioned opposite the rotational shaft portion (120).

[0062] A support connector (134) has a seating guide (134a) formed therein that contacts the outer surface of the feeding tube (10). If the feeding tube (10) is formed in the shape of a circular pipe, the seating guide (134a) may be formed in an arc shape to contact the feeding tube (10). If the feeding tube (10) is formed in the shape of a polygonal pipe, the seating guide (134a) may be formed in a polygonal shape to contact the feeding tube (10).

[0063] The tube restraint portion (136) may include a restraint band portion (137) and a restraint clamp (138).

[0064] The restraint band portion (137) can be fixed to one side of the support frame (132) and installed to surround the opposite side of the base (110) of the feeding tube (10). The restraint band portion (137) can be positioned to correspond to the support connector (134). Since the portion of the support frame (132) where the support connector (134) is located has the greatest structural rigidity, the support and restraint forces of the restraint band portion (137) can be increased as the restraint band portion (137) is fixed to the support connector (134).

[0065] The restraint clamp (138) is coupled to the other side of the support frame (132) and can restrain the other side of the restraint band portion (137) to the support frame (132). The restraint clamp (138) can be coupled to the support frame (132). Since the portion of the support frame (132) where the support connector (134) is located has the greatest structural rigidity, the restraint force of the restraint band portion (137) can be increased as the restraint clamp (138) is fixed to the support connector (134).

[0066] The restraint clamp (138) can be formed in various shapes as long as it restrains the restraint band portion (137) to the support frame (132). Below, an example of the restraint clamp (138) will be described.

[0067] The restraint clamp (138) may include a clamp bracket (1381), a clamp lever (1382), an adjustment bolt (1383), and a restraint ring (1384).

[0068] The clamp bracket (1381) can be fixed to the other side of the support frame (132). The clamp bracket (1381) can be fixed to the other side of the support connector (134) by a fastening member (not shown).

[0069] The clamp lever (1382) can be rotatably coupled to the clamp bracket (1381). The clamp lever (1382) can be hinge-coupled to the clamp bracket (1381).

[0070] The adjustment bolt (1383) can be rotatably connected to the clamp lever (1382). For example, the adjustment bolt (1383) may be formed in a “T” shape, the portion perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the clamp lever (1382) may be hinged to the clamp lever (1382), and the portion parallel to the longitudinal direction of the clamp lever (1382) may be formed with a threaded portion.

[0071] The restraint ring (1384) is screw-coupled to the adjustment bolt (1383) and can restrain the other side of the restraint band portion (137). As the restraint ring (1384) rotates to one side or the other side from the adjustment bolt (1383), the position of the restraint ring (1384) is adjusted, so the restraint ring (1384) can adjust the restraint force of the restraint band portion (137). Additionally, a band bracket (1371) is fixed between the restraint band portion (137) and the support connector (134), and the restraint ring (1384) is restrained by being caught on a catch (not shown) of the band bracket (1371). In FIGS. 6 and 7, when the clamp lever (1382) is rotated outward toward the support connector (134), the restraint ring (1384) is released from the catch of the band bracket (1371), and when the clamp lever (1382) is rotated toward the support connector (134), the restraint ring (1384) is caught on the catch of the band bracket (1371) and restrained.

[0072] FIGS. 8 to 10 are perspective views schematically illustrating the rotating shaft part and the rotating drive part of a feeding tube cart according to the present invention.

[0073] Referring to FIGS. 8 to 10, the rotary drive unit (150) may include a driving force input unit (151), a reduction gear (152), a first gear unit (153), and a second gear unit (154). The rotary drive unit (150) may be positioned on one side of the rotation shaft unit (120) on the rear side of the base (110).

[0074] Driving force can be input to the driving force input section (151). For example, as a driving device (not shown) of the automation equipment (300) is connected to the driving force input section (151), the driving force of the automation equipment (300) can be input to the rotary driving section (150). Of course, the driving force input section (151) may also be input by the driving device of the rotary driving section (150) itself.

[0075] The reduction gear (152) can be connected to the driving force input unit (151). The reduction gear (152) is formed with a structure in which a plurality of gears mesh, and reduces the rotational speed of the driving force input unit (151) by the gear ratio of the plurality of gears.

[0076] The first gear section (153) can be connected to a reduction gear (152). The first gear section (153) can be axially coupled with the output gear of the reduction gear (152). The first gear section (153) can be formed in the shape of a circular gear.

[0077] The second gear section (154) may mesh with the first gear section (153) and be connected to the rotation shaft section (120). As the second gear section (154) rotates, the rotation shaft section (120) may rotate. The second gear section (154) may be formed in a fan shape.

[0078] In FIGS. 9 and 10, the rotary drive unit (150) is configured to include a first gear unit (153) and a second gear unit (154), but the number of gear units in the rotary drive unit (150) can be varied.

[0079] Referring to FIGS. 2 through 4, the feeding tube cart (100) may further include a buffer (140). The buffer (140) may include a buffer frame (141).

[0080] The buffer frame (141) can be erected on the base (110). The buffer frame (141) can be erected in the middle of the base (110) or in the left-right direction of the base (110).

[0081] The inclined member (144) is installed at an angle on the tube mount (130), and can come into contact with the buffer frame (141) when the rotation angle of the tube mount (130) exceeds a certain angle. The angle of inclination of the inclined member (144) can be varied depending on the structure of the tube mount (130), the installation location, and the position and height of the detection frame (141).

[0082] The inclined member (144) may include a plurality of inclined rods (145) and crossbars (146) (see FIG. 4).

[0083] A plurality of inclined rods (145) may be extended upwardly at an angle from the tube mount (130). The inclined rods (145) may vary depending on the distance to the buffer frame (141). A crossbar (146) connects the plurality of inclined rods (145).

[0084] The operation of the feeding tube cart according to the present invention, configured as described above, will now be explained.

[0085] FIG. 11 is a schematic side view illustrating a state in which a feeding tube is mounted on a feeding tube cart according to the present invention, FIG. 12 is a schematic side view illustrating a state in which an autonomous transfer robot is moved to the lower side of a feeding tube cart according to the present invention, FIG. 13 is a schematic side view illustrating a state in which a feeding tube cart according to the present invention has reached a lifting support of an automated equipment, FIG. 14 and FIG. 15 are schematic side views illustrating a state in which a feeding tube cart according to the present invention has been raised by a lift, FIG. 16 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a state in which a feeding tube is tilted at a certain angle in a feeding tube cart according to the present invention, FIG. 17 and FIG. 18 are schematic perspective views illustrating the operating state of a rotary drive unit when a feeding tube according to the present invention is tilted at a certain angle.

[0086] Referring to FIGS. 11 to 18, a feeding tube (10) is mounted on a tube mount (130). At this time, raw materials may be filled into the feeding tube (10) before or after the feeding tube (10) is mounted on the tube mount (130). An autonomous transfer robot (200) is moved to the lower side of the base (110).

[0087] The autonomous transfer robot (200) moves the base (110) to the automation equipment (300).
