Description

A clip pin with a hidden spring

[0001] The present invention relates to a clip pin in which a spring is concealed, and more specifically, to a clip pin in which an elastic element that causes clips to interlock is embedded in the hinge part so as not to be exposed, thereby preventing hair from getting caught, and a decorative element can be added to that part to increase design utility, and an axle pin is unnecessary, making production easier and lowering the manufacturing cost.

[0002] Generally, clamp pins primarily utilize the elastic force of a torsion spring.

[0003] The above torsion spring closes the clip at both ends due to torsional elasticity, gripping and securing the hair.

[0004] Specifically, as described in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0498572, a conventional clip pin has a pair of bodies connected by a hinge axis so as to be rotatable with each other, and a torsion spring is externally fitted to the hinge axis so that the pair of bodies are closed by the elastic force of the torsion spring, thereby allowing the clips provided on the pair of bodies to interlock with each other and grip and secure the hair.

[0005] These conventional hair clips have the disadvantage that hair frequently gets caught between the torsion springs, as the torsion springs are exposed directly outside the clip.

[0006] In addition, the torsion spring has the disadvantage of detracting from the aesthetic appeal of the clip, and there is a structural drawback in that it is difficult to add separate decorations because the torsion spring is located in the area that is actually visible when gripping hair.

[0007] Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the problems described above.

[0008] The purpose is to provide a clip pin that incorporates an elastic body into the hinge parts and allows the bodies to rotate stably without an axle pin, thereby preventing hair from getting caught in the elastic body and making it easy to add decorations, which can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the design.

[0009] To achieve the above objectives, the clamp pin according to the present invention

[0010] A pair of bodies each having a gripping part, a pressing part, and a hinge part, wherein the hinge parts of each body come into contact with each other and are joined by a hinge means to rotate relative to each other.

[0011] The above hinge means is

[0012] It includes an elastic body that functions as an axis by being inserted into the interiors of the hinge portions of each body, with one end fitted and hooked onto the first hinge portion of the first body and the other end fitted and hooked onto the second hinge portion of the second body, and elastically supports each hinge portion in the direction in which each pressing portion opens.

[0013] Even without a separate shaft pin that passes through and connects the hinge parts, the hinge parts are not separated from each other, and each hinge part is capable of rotating relative to the elastic body as an axis.

[0014] And in the clamp pin according to the present invention,

[0015] The above hinge means is

[0016] A shaft hole formed by penetrating both sides of the first hinge portion of the first body, and a first locking groove formed by extending in the tangential direction of the shaft hole and having one side open,

[0017] It includes an axial groove formed on one side of the second hinge portion of the second body, and a second locking groove formed by extending in the tangential direction of the axial groove and having one side open.

[0018] The above elastic body is characterized by comprising a torsion spring comprising: an elastic twist portion having one end fitted into the shaft hole and the other end fitted into the shaft groove to function as a shaft; a first locking portion extending from one end of the elastic twist portion and fitted into the first locking groove; and a second locking portion extending from the other end of the elastic twist portion and fitted into the second locking groove.

[0019] In addition, in the clamp pin according to the present invention,

[0020] The first hinge portion is characterized by including a first outer wall portion that protrudes along the edge of one side to form a first mounting groove, and a first cover that is fitted into and coupled to the first mounting groove.

[0021] Also, in the clamp pin according to the present invention,

[0022] The second hinge portion is characterized by including a second outer wall portion that protrudes along the edge of one side and the circumference of one side of the shaft groove to form a second mounting groove, and a second cover that is fitted into and coupled to the second mounting groove.

[0023] The clamp pin according to the present invention

[0024] By allowing an elastic element, particularly a torsion spring, to exert elastic force within the hinge sections, the torsion spring is not exposed externally, thereby eliminating the risk of hair getting caught. Furthermore, it facilitates the addition of decorative elements to the areas where conventional springs are mounted, enhancing design aesthetics. Additionally, since the hinge sections rotate on their own axis around an elastic twist, the use of an axle pin is unnecessary, providing ease of manufacturing and cost reduction.

[0025] By completely covering the torsion spring with the cover, it not only prevents the spring from coming loose but also prevents the cover itself from detaching, allowing for long-term use without malfunction.

[0026] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a clamp pin according to the present invention.

[0027] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a clamp pin according to the present invention.

[0036] The present invention is capable of various modifications and may take various forms, and embodiments (aspects or examples) are to be described in detail in the text. However, this is not intended to limit the present invention to a specific disclosed form, and it should be understood that it includes all modifications, equivalents, and substitutions that fall within the spirit and scope of the present invention.

[0037] For convenience in describing the clamp pin according to the present invention, a rough, non-strict directional standard is specified with reference to FIG. 1. The direction in which gravity acts is set downward, and the up, down, left, and right directions are determined as they appear. Unless otherwise specifically mentioned in the detailed description of the invention and claims related to other drawings, the direction is described by specifying it according to this standard.

[0038] Hereinafter, the clamp pin according to the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0039] The present invention relates to a clamp pin as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and comprises a pair of bodies (10A) (10B) and a torsion spring (20).

[0040] Specifically, the present invention

[0041]

[0042] * A pair of bodies (10A)(10B) having a clamp part (11), a pressing part (12), and a hinge part (13A)(13B), wherein the hinge parts (13A)(13B) of each body (10A)(10B) come into contact with each other and are joined by a hinge means (H) to rotate with each other.

[0043] It includes an elastic body that functions as an axis by being inserted into the hinge portions (13A)(13B) of each body (10A)(10B), with one end fitted and hooked into the first hinge portion (13A) of the first body (10A) and the other end fitted and hooked into the second hinge portion (13B) of the second body (10B), and elastically supports each hinge portion (13A)(13B) in the direction in which each pressing portion (12) opens.

[0044] Specifically, the hinge means (H) is

[0045] A shaft hole (131) formed by penetrating both sides of the first hinge portion (13A) of the first body (10A), and a first locking groove (132) formed by extending in the tangential direction of the shaft hole (131) and having one side open,

[0046] An axial groove (135) formed on one side of the second hinge portion (13B) of the second body (10B), and a second locking groove (136) formed extending in the tangential direction of the axial groove (135) with one side open,

[0047] It includes an elastic body, i.e., a torsion spring (20), comprising an elastic twist portion (21) that functions as a shaft by having one end fitted into the shaft hole (131) and the other end fitted into the shaft groove (135), a first locking portion (22) that extends from one end of the elastic twist portion (21) and is fitted into the first locking groove (132), and a second locking portion (23) that extends from the other end of the elastic twist portion (21) and is fitted into the second locking groove (136).

[0048] The above bodies (10A)(10B) are connected such that the pressing part (12) is bent at a predetermined angle from the clamp part (11), and the hinge part (13A)(13B) protrudes from the bent part, so that the hinge parts (13A)(13B) of each body (10A)(10B) are in close contact with each other and are joined by the hinge means (H) so that the bodies (10A)(10B) rotate.

[0049] At this time, the individual or overall shape or structure of the above-mentioned body (10A)(10B), particularly the clamp part (11) and the pressing part (12), can be varied in many ways.

[0050] Next, the hinge means (H), which is the core of the present invention, will be explained.

[0051] First, each hinge part (13A)(13B) is in the form where a semicircular head part is connected to a trapezoidal body part, and the shaft hole (131) or shaft groove (135) is provided in the head part of each hinge part (13A)(13B), and the first locking groove (132) or second locking groove (136) is provided in the body part of each hinge part (13A)(13B).

[0052] The first hinge portion (13A) has a first mounting groove (133a) formed over the entire body portion and head portion, and the second hinge portion (13B) has a second mounting groove (137a) formed only in the body portion.

[0053] And the first locking groove (132) and the second locking groove (136) are formed diagonally toward the rear outer side of each body (10A)(10B) and are provided to be symmetrical to each other.

[0054] The above torsion spring (20) is of a known form, wherein one side of the elastic twist portion (21) in the direction of the rotational axis is inserted into the shaft hole (131) and the first locking end (22) is fitted into the first locking groove (132) and the other side of the elastic twist portion (21) in the direction of the rotational axis is inserted into the shaft groove (135) and the second locking end (23) is fitted into the second locking groove (136).

[0055] In this invention, even without a separate shaft pin that passes through and connects the hinge parts (13A)(13B), each hinge part (13A)(13B) can rotate relative to each other around the elastic twist part (21) as an axis.

[0056] When the torsion spring (20) is coupled within the hinge portions (13A)(13B) in this way, when the pressing portions (12) of each body (10A)(10B) are grasped and squeezed, the clamp portions (11) of each body (10A)(10B) spread out in a seesaw motion. At this time, as the hinge portions (13A)(13B) rotate, the locking portions (22)(23) of the torsion spring (20) are squeezed and elastic force is accumulated. When the external force is released, the pressing portions (12) spread out due to the elastic force of the torsion spring (20), and through this interaction, the clamp portions (11) are squeezed to grasp and fix the hair located between them.

[0057] Furthermore, the first hinge portion (13A) includes a first outer wall portion (133) that protrudes along the edge of one side to form a first mounting groove (133a), and a first cover (134) that is fitted into and coupled to the first mounting groove (133a).

[0058] The second hinge portion (13B) includes a second outer wall portion (137) that protrudes along the edge of one side and the circumference of one side of the shaft groove (135) to form a second mounting groove (137a), and a second cover (138) that is fitted into and coupled to the second mounting groove (137a).

[0059] As described above, the first mounting groove (133a) is formed in a shape in which one side is opened by the first outer wall part (133) over the entire side of the first hinge part (13A), and

[0060] As described above, the second mounting groove (137a) is formed in a shape in which one side is opened by the second outer wall (137) over a part of the second hinge part (13B), more strictly, only over the body part of the second hinge part (13B).

[0061] The first cover (134) and the second cover (138) are each formed in a shape corresponding to the first mounting groove (133a) and the second mounting groove (137a), respectively, and are fitted into each mounting groove (133a) (137a) to completely cover and conceal the torsion spring (20) exposed to the shaft hole (131), the first locking end (22), and the second locking end (23).

[0062] Accordingly, by using only the torsion spring (20) without an axle pin, rotational operation of the clamp pin is possible, and the torsion spring (20) is not completely exposed to the outside, thereby allowing additional decorations to be attached to the part, and there is no risk of hair getting caught in the torsion spring (20).

[0063] Furthermore, the first hinge portion (13A) is joined to the second hinge portion (13B) while covering a part of the second cover (138).

[0064] That is, the first hinge portion (13A) has a length that extends past the head portion of the second hinge portion (13B) to the body portion area, so that the end portion of the head portion of the first hinge portion (13A) covers a part of the second cover (138) and prevents the second cover (138) from being separated.

[0065] To briefly explain the assembly method of a clamp pin with this structure,

[0066] First, the elastic twist part (21) and the second locking end (23) are inserted into the shaft groove (135) and the second locking groove (136), and then the second cover (138) is inserted into the second mounting groove (137a) to mount it.

[0067] After attaching the second cover (138) in this way, bonding can be applied to the edge portion, but one of the four sides of the second cover (138) that comes into contact with the first hinge portion (13A) is not bonded, and the separation of the second cover (138) is prevented only by the close contact of the first hinge portion (13A).

[0068] The reason for not bonding a part of the second cover (138) in this way is to prevent interference from occurring when the hinge parts (13A) and (13B) rotate, as the bonding would partially bond up to the first hinge part (13A).

[0069] Then, the torsion spring (20) is mounted on the second hinge part (13B), and the first locking end (22) is passed through the shaft hole (131) and fitted into the first locking groove (132), so that the remaining part of the elastic twist part (21) is fitted into the shaft hole (131).

[0070] Once the combination of the bodies (10A)(10B) and the torsion spring (20) is completed in this way, the first cover (134) is inserted into the first mounting groove (133a), and the assembly is finished by bonding all sides of the first cover (134).

[0071] Meanwhile, a pin hole (134a) (139) is further provided in the center of the first cover (134) and the shaft groove (135) of the second hinge part (13B), which is formed by penetrating both sides at a mutually corresponding position.

[0072] The pin holes (134a) (139) are used to mount a pin-shaped member, and the pin-shaped member used therein is not used as an axis for the rotation of the hinge parts (13A) (13B), but is used only for other purposes such as attaching additional decorations, so it is revealed that the nature is different from that of a conventional hinge axis.

[0073] Meanwhile, in the drawing, two hinge parts (13A) and (13B) are provided on each body (10A) and (10B), and the second hinge parts (13B) are fitted into the inner side of the first hinge parts (13A), but the number, arrangement, and combination type of each hinge part (13A) and (13B) can be varied in many ways.

[0074] In describing the present invention above, the explanation has focused on the clamp pin with reference to the attached drawings; however, the present invention is capable of various modifications, changes, and substitutions by those skilled in the art, and such modifications, changes, and substitutions should be interpreted as falling within the scope of protection of the present invention.
