Abstract
Description
Fall prevention and notification device
[0001] The following embodiments relate to a fall prevention and notification device.
[0002] With the advancement of medical science, modern society is gradually entering an aging society. Consequently, the elderly population is steadily increasing, and as this population grows, the number of patients suffering from age-related diseases, such as dementia and mobility issues, is also rising.
[0003] A patient monitoring system is necessary in facilities such as nursing homes and geriatric hospitals because caregivers cannot constantly keep watch over patients with limited mobility, as well as those with cognitive impairments due to dementia or mental illness. When a problem arises, caregivers, attending physicians, nurses, and others must be able to immediately recognize the situation, even if they are not in the same space as the patient.
[0004] In particular, when elderly people or patients with limited mobility suddenly fall out of bed, if guardians, caregivers, doctors, and nurses do not immediately recognize the situation and fail to take timely action, serious problems may arise.
[0005] To address this, medical beds were previously developed that block the sides of the bed when a guardian or caregiver is away. However, this caused discomfort to the patient and made it difficult to immediately check for any issues.
[0006] In addition, a technology was developed to notify guardians, caregivers, and medical personnel when a patient grasps the handle of a medical bed, assuming that the patient intends to leave the bed. However, this had the disadvantage of sending unnecessary notifications because it sent notifications even when the patient did not actually leave the bed or had no intention of leaving it.
[0007] To address these issues, there is an urgent need to develop technology that enables guardians, caregivers, and medical professionals to detect patients falling out of bed or slipping out in real time.
[0008] The embodiments aim to provide a fall prevention and notification device that transmits a notification to a guardian or caregiver by rotating a rotating plate when a patient leaves the bed or there is a risk of falling.
[0009] In addition, the purpose is to provide a fall prevention and notification device that can maintain a stable installation state using a fixing installation member so that the fixing plate installed on the bed does not become detached due to long-term use, and can be optimally installed regardless of the shape of the patient bed structure.
[0010] In addition, the purpose is to provide a fall prevention and notification device that causes the rotating plate to rotate smoothly when a patient steps on the rotating plate with their foot.
[0011] In addition, the purpose is to provide a fall prevention and notification device that allows the patient to use the aforementioned rotating plate as a footrest when the patient does not actually intend to leave the bed.
[0012] In addition, the purpose is to provide a fall prevention and notification device that allows the aforementioned rotating plate to easily return to its rotated state.
[0013] A fall prevention and notification device for a patient bed (B) installed in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention and for notifying of a patient's fall and bed deviation, comprising: a fixed plate detachably attached to the patient bed (B); a rotating plate connected to the fixed plate and rotatably installed; and a sensor notification unit detachably attached to the bottom surface of the fixed plate and transmitting or outputting a notification when pressure is applied by the rotation of the rotating plate. The fixed installation member for installing the fixed plate on the patient bed comprises: a first fixed body having a fixed hole formed therein; a second fixed body having a plurality of coupling holes formed therein, which is installed such that at least a portion overlaps the first fixed body and surrounds the structure of the patient bed (B) together with the first fixed body; and a fixing screw inserted into the fixed hole and coupled to the coupling hole of the second fixed body. The coupling position of the first fixed body and the second fixed body can be determined according to the position of the coupling hole to which the fixing screw is coupled among the plurality of coupling holes.
[0014] Additionally, the device may further include an elastic damping member for preventing sudden rotation of the rotating plate, wherein the elastic damping member may include an elastic member installed on either the fixed plate or the rotating plate; and a damping member installed on the other of the fixed plate and the rotating plate, which is compressed and fixed or released upon contact with the elastic member when the rotating plate rotates.
[0015] Additionally, the elastic member comprises a fixed body portion installed on the side of either the fixed plate or the rotating plate, and an elastic body portion formed by extending from the fixed body portion, and the damping member comprises a damping housing installed on the other of the fixed plate and the rotating plate, and a plunger in which at least a portion is inserted into the interior of the damping housing and reciprocates according to the tension or compression of a spring, and when the load applied by a patient to the rotating plate is greater than or equal to a set load, the spring of the plunger and the elastic body portion are elastically deformed, and the rotating plate rotates in a first direction at a first position, and when the rotating plate is positioned at a second position after rotating in the first direction, the plunger and the elastic body portion can maintain a state of contact in which the spring of the plunger is compressed and fixed.
[0016] Additionally, when the rotating plate is positioned in the second position and the rotating plate is pressed in the first direction, the compression fixation of the spring of the plunger is released, and the plunger includes a damping head portion that contacts the elastic body, the damping head portion is treated to prevent slipping when in contact with the elastic body portion, and the elastic body portion has an anti-slip layer formed thereon to prevent slipping when in contact with the damping head portion, and the elastic damping member may further include an elastic magnet installed on the other side of the fixed plate and the elastic plate and configured to be coupled or separated from the fixed body portion.
[0017] Additionally, the rotating plate includes a recess to facilitate the insertion of the fixed installation member, and the fixed installation member may further include a first body fastening hole formed at the rear of the first fixed body, a second body fastening hole formed at the rear of the second fixed body and positioned facing the first body fastening hole, a fixing bolt inserted into the first and second body fastening holes, and a fixing nut coupled to the fixing bolt.
[0018] According to one embodiment of the present invention, when a patient steps on a rotating plate to rotate it, a notification is sent to a guardian or caregiver, thereby preventing the patient from falling.
[0019] In addition, by using fixed installation members, the installation state can be maintained stably even during long-term use, and optimal installation is possible regardless of the shape of the patient bed structure.
[0020] In addition, the rotating plate can be made to rotate smoothly when the patient steps on it with their foot, thereby preventing the risk of injury to the patient.
[0021] In addition, by allowing the rotating plate to be used as a footrest when the patient does not actually intend to leave the bed, indiscriminate transmission of notifications can be prevented and patient convenience can be improved.
[0022] In addition, convenience can be increased by allowing a guardian or caregiver to easily return the rotating plate to its original position using their foot.

[0046] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the fall prevention and notification device of the present invention viewed from the front upper side, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the fall prevention and notification device of the present invention viewed from the bottom, FIG. 3 is a drawing showing the rotating plate rotated while the fall prevention and notification device of the present invention is installed, and FIG. 4 is a drawing looking inward while the rotating plate of the fall prevention and notification device of the present invention is rotated.
[0047] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the fall prevention and notification device (1) of the present invention may include a fixed plate (10) that is detachably attached to a patient bed (B), a rotating plate (20) that is connected to the fixed plate (10) and is rotatably installed, and a sensor notification unit (60) that is installed on the bottom surface (12) of the fixed plate (10) and transmits a fall risk signal to the patient when the rotating plate (20) is rotated.
[0048] The fixed plate (10) may be installed on the bottom surface of the patient bed (B), and the rotating plate (20) may be positioned protruding outward from the patient bed (B) while connected to the fixed plate (10). On the other hand, when the rotating plate (20) rotates, it may be positioned vertically on the side of the patient bed (B).
[0049] The above fixed plate (10) can be formed in the shape of a rectangular plate, for example.
[0050] The above-mentioned rotating plate (20) may be formed in a plate shape, for example, such that at least a portion of its side is formed as a curved surface. The above-mentioned rotating plate (20) may be installed so as to protrude outward from the patient bed (B). That is, even though the above-mentioned rotating plate (20) protrudes outward from the patient bed (B), a portion of it may be formed as a curved surface so that a person moving around the patient bed (B) (e.g., patient, guardian, caregiver, medical professional, etc.) is not injured.
[0051] However, the shape of the above-mentioned rotating plate (20) is not limited to this and can be any shape.
[0052] In addition, the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20) may be formed with the same size or different sizes.
[0053] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include a hinge part (50) that hinge-connects the rotating plate (20) and the fixed plate (10) so that the rotating plate (20) can rotate.
[0054] For example, the hinge portion (50) can be formed in the shape of a hinge.
[0055] As another example, the hinge portion (50) may be configured in the form of a connecting bar mounted on both sides of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20), unlike as shown in the drawing.
[0056] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include an attachment part (13) for attachment to the patient bed (B) and located on the upper surface (11) of the above fixing plate (10). The attachment part (13) may be composed of a plurality of parts.
[0057] The above attachment part (13) can be configured in the form of a magnet, adhesive pad, suction pad, etc., so as to be easily detachable.
[0058] The above-mentioned rotating plate (20) may include a recess (23) formed by recessing a portion of the side adjacent to the above-mentioned fixed plate (10), and a plurality of cut holes (24).
[0059] The above-mentioned recess (23) may be formed to facilitate the insertion of a fixed installation member (70) to be described later. The above-mentioned recess (23) may be positioned between a plurality of stopper parts (30) or a plurality of elastic damping members (40) to be described later.
[0060] The plurality of cut holes (24) can be arranged at equal intervals along the longitudinal direction of the rotating plate (20).
[0061] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include a mounting part (17) for mounting the sensor notification part (60) and an arm part (27) provided to press the sensor notification part (60) according to the rotation of the rotating plate (20).
[0062] The mounting portion (17) is located on the bottom surface (12) of the fixed plate (10) and can be configured to allow the sensor notification portion (60) to be attached and detached. For example, the mounting portion (17) can be configured to allow the sensor notification portion (60) to be attached and detached by sliding.
[0063] The above mounting part (17) may include a mounting body (171) for mounting the sensor notification part (60) and a mounting part (175) for being fixedly installed on the fixed plate (10).
[0064] The above arm (27) can be installed on the bottom surface (22) of the above rotating plate (20).
[0065] The above arm portion (27) may include an arm mounting portion (275) for installation on the rotating plate (20), an arm body portion (271) formed by extending from the rotating plate (20), and an arm bent end portion (273) formed by bending at the end of the arm body portion (271).
[0066] The above arm body portion (271) may be extended obliquely from the bottom surface (22) of the rotating plate (20) and may have a shape in which the width decreases as it moves away from the rotating plate (20).
[0067] The above-mentioned arm bending end (273) is bent at the end of the arm body part (271) and can be formed in a shape capable of applying pressure to the sensor notification part (60). When the sensor notification part (60) is pressed, the caregiver or guardian can be notified that a danger has occurred via a mobile phone, a central control monitor, or a notification bell. The caregiver or guardian can recognize the occurrence of danger, check the patient's condition, and then turn off the notification bell directly. This fall notification system can be applied to both homes and nursing facilities.
[0068] When the rotating plate (20) is in the first position, the arm body part (271) and the arm bending end part (273) may be positioned apart from the sensor notification part (60). On the other hand, when the rotating plate (20) is in the second position, the arm bending end part (273) may be positioned in a state where it presses against the sensor notification part (60). At this time, the first position is a state in which the rotating plate (20) protrudes outward from the patient bed (B) so that the patient can use the rotating plate (20) as a footrest, and the second position may mean a state in which it is fully rotated from the first position.
[0069] Here, the direction of rotation from the first position to the second position can be defined as the first direction, and the direction of rotation returning from the second position to the first position can be defined as the second direction opposite to the first direction.
[0070] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include a stopper part (30) for limiting the attachment range of the fixed plate (10) or the rotation range of the rotating plate (20).
[0071] The stopper part (30) may include a bending stopper part (310) installed on the fixed plate (10), and a first stopper magnet (320) and a second stopper magnet (330) installed on the rotating plate (20).
[0072] The first stopper magnet (320) and the second stopper magnet (330) can be magnetically coupled or uncoupled with the configuration of the bending stopper part (310), thereby limiting the rotation range of the rotating plate (20) or facilitating the change of position of the rotating plate (20).
[0073] The first stopper magnet (320) may be installed on the side of the rotating plate (20) by a magnet mounting part (325). For example, the magnet mounting part (325) may be a screw.
[0074] The above bending stopper part (310) can be located on the side and bottom surface of the above fixing plate (10).
[0075] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include an elastic damping member (40) to prevent sudden rotation of the rotating plate (20). The elastic damping member (40) is provided to prevent the phenomenon in which the patient's foot falls to the ground and causes injury to the patient as soon as the rotating plate (20) is rotated as soon as the patient steps on the rotating plate (20) with their foot.
[0076] The elastic damping member (40) may include an elastic member (41) installed on either the fixed plate (10) or the rotating plate (20), and a damping member (45) installed on the other of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20) and compressed, fixed, or released upon contact with the elastic member (41) when the rotating plate (20) rotates.
[0077] The above fall prevention and notification device (1) may further include a fixed installation member (70) for stable installation on the patient bed (B). The fixed installation member (70) is configured to stably install the fixed plate (10) together with the attachment part (13).
[0078] The above fixed installation member (70) can be inserted through the recess (23) of the rotating plate (20), and the above fixed plate (10) can be fixedly installed on the patient bed (B).
[0079] The above fixed installation member (70) may include a first fixed body (711) in which a fixing hole (711b) is formed, a second fixed body (712) coupled to the first fixed body (711), and a fixing screw (717) inserted into the fixing hole (711b) and coupled to the second fixed body (712).
[0080] At least a portion of the first fixed body (711) and the second fixed body (712) may be installed overlapping each other. At this time, the fixing screw (717) is inserted into the fixing hole (711b) of the first fixed body (711) and coupled to the second fixed body (712), thereby determining the coupling position of the first fixed body (711) and the second fixed body (712).
[0081] The second fixed body (712) can be installed together with the first fixed body (711) to surround the structure of the patient bed (B).
[0082] In the second fixed body (712), a coupling hole (712c, not shown) to which the fixing screw (717) can be coupled may be formed. Multiple coupling holes (712c) may be formed, and the multiple coupling holes (712c) may be positioned differently from each other. That is, by determining the position of the coupling hole (712c) to which the fixing screw (717) is coupled according to the shape (thickness, etc.) of the structure of the patient bed (B), the fall prevention and notification device (1) can be installed stably.
[0083] The coupling position of the first fixing body (711) and the second fixing body (712) can be determined according to the position of the coupling hole (712c) to which the fixing screw (717) is coupled among the plurality of coupling holes (712c).
[0084] In other words, the fall prevention and notification device (1) can be fixedly installed in close contact with the structure of the patient bed (B) without any gap, in a manner suitable for the shape of the structure of the patient bed (B). Here, the structure of the fixing hole (711b), the fixing screw (717), and the coupling hole (712c) can be defined as a 'front coupling structure'.
[0085] Additionally, the fixing screw (717) may be provided in multiple numbers. By inserting the multiple fixing screws (717) together into the fixing hole (711b) and connecting them to the coupling hole (712c) of the second fixing body (712), the connection between the first fixing body (711) and the second fixing body (712) can be maintained without shaking.
[0086] The above fixing hole (711b) may be formed on the front surface of the first fixing body (711). The first fixing body (711) may be formed in an L-shape, and the fixing hole (711b) may be formed on the front surface of the first fixing body (711).
[0087] The second fixed body (712) may be formed in an 'L' shape, and at least a portion of it may overlap with the front portion of the first fixed body (711).
[0088] Additionally, the fixed installation member (70) may further include a first body fastening hole (711a) formed in the first fixed body (711), a second body fastening hole (712a) formed in the second fixed body (712) and formed at a position corresponding to the first body fastening hole (711a), a fixing bolt (713) inserted into the first body fastening hole (711a) and the second body fastening hole (712a), and a fixing nut (715) coupled to the fixing bolt (713).
[0089] Here, the structure of the first and second body fastening holes (711a, 712a), the fixing bolt (713), and the fixing nut (715) can be defined as a 'front coupling structure'.
[0090] The first body fastening hole (711a) can be formed at the rear of the first fixed body (711).
[0091] The second body fastening hole (712a) can be formed at the rear of the second fixed body (712).
[0092] The first and second body fastening holes (711a, 712a) are formed in positions facing each other and can be formed as elliptical holes that allow the position of the fixing bolt (713) to be adjusted so that they can be installed on various patient beds (B).
[0093] That is, the fixed installation member (70) can be connected at the front by the fixing hole (711c) and the fixing screw (717), and at the rear by the first and second body fastening holes (711a, 712a).
[0094] In addition, by means of the combined structure of the first and second body fastening holes (711a, 712a), the fixing bolt (713), and the fixing nut (715), it is possible to combine them in a shape that fits the structure of the patient bed (B).
[0095] After wrapping the structure of the patient bed (B) with at least a portion of the first fixed body (711) and the second fixed body (712) overlapping, the fixing bolt (713) passes through the first and second body fastening holes (711a, 712a) and is coupled with the fixing nut (715), so that it can be stably installed.
[0096] When the fixing plate (10) is installed using only the attachment part (13), an unintended detachment may occur depending on the condition of the patient bed (B), but the fixing force of the fixing plate (10) can be supplemented secondarily through the fixing installation member (70). Through this, the fixing plate (10) can be stably installed and maintained regardless of the condition of the patient bed (B) or the patient's weight.
[0097] In addition, regardless of the shape of the structure of the patient bed (B), the fixed installation member (70) can be optimally installed by the front and rear coupling structure of the fixed installation member (70).
[0098] The hinge portion (50) may be formed in the shape of a hinge, for example. The hinge portion (50) may include a plurality of hinge bodies (510) installed on each of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20), and a hinge fixing portion (515) for fixing the hinge bodies (510). The plurality of hinge bodies (510) are connected around a hinge axis (not shown), and the rotating plate (20) can be rotated through the hinge axis.
[0099] The hinge fixing part (515) may be composed of, for example, a combination of a bolt, a nut, and a washer, wherein the washer may be positioned in a state of being pressed into the fixing plate (10) or the rotating plate (20).
[0100] FIG. 5 is a drawing showing a stopper member of the fall prevention and notification device, FIG. 6 is a drawing showing an elastic member and a damper member of the fall prevention and notification device, and FIG. 7 is a drawing showing the damping process of the elastic member and the damper member.
[0101] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7, the bend stopper portion (310) may include a vertical member (311) protruding upward from the fixed plate (10), a horizontal member (312) formed by bending from the vertical member (311) and fixedly installed on the bottom surface (11) of the fixed plate (10), and a stopper bar (314) extending downward from the vertical member (311).
[0102] The vertical member (311) and the horizontal member (312) may be formed by bending into an 'L' shape and may be fixedly installed on the fixed plate (10) while wrapping around a part of the side of the fixed plate (10) adjacent to the rotating plate (20).
[0103] A fastening hole (312a) for fixed installation is formed in the horizontal member (312), and a fastening screw (315) is inserted through the fastening hole (312a) so that the horizontal member (312) can be installed on the fixed plate (10).
[0104] A stopper hole (313) may be formed in the vertical member (311), and the stopper bar (314) may be cut in shape.
[0105] The stopper bar (314) extends downward from the vertical member (311) and can be located in the same plane as the vertical member (311).
[0106] The first stopper magnet (320) is installed on the side of the rotating plate (20) and can be magnetically coupled to or uncoupled from the vertical member (311) depending on the rotation of the rotating plate (20).
[0107] The second stopper magnet (330) is installed on the bottom surface (22) of the rotating plate (20) and can be magnetically coupled to or uncoupled from the stopper bar (314) depending on the rotation of the rotating plate (20).
[0108] The elastic member (41) may include a fixed body part (411) installed on the side of either the fixed plate (10) or the rotating plate (20), and an elastic body part (412) formed extending from the fixed body part (411). The fixed body part (411) may be fixedly coupled to the side of either the fixed plate (10) or the rotating plate (20) through a fixing screw (415) (see FIG. 3).
[0109] Although FIG. 5 shows the fixing screw (415) being connected to the lower side of the fixing body part (411), the fixing screw (415) may also be connected to the front side of the fixing body part (411) as in FIG. 3.
[0110] For example, the elastic body part (412) may be extended in a curved manner from the fixed body part (411).
[0111] The elastic body part (412) extends from the fixed body part (411) and can extend in a direction away from the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20) at the first position.
[0112] Specifically, the elastic body portion (412) may be extended in a curved direction closer to either the fixed plate (10) or the rotating plate (20) from the fixed body portion (411).
[0113] Additionally, the elastic body portion (412) may be configured to be elastically deformable upon contact with the plunger (453) to be described later. The elastic body portion (412) may be elastically deformed upon compression or tension of the plunger (453).
[0114] The damping member (45) may be provided with a plunger (453) that is compressed and fixed or released upon contact with the elastic member (41) when the rotating plate (20) rotates.
[0115] The damping member (45) may include a damping housing (451) installed on the other of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20), a plunger (453) in which at least a portion is inserted into the damping housing (451) and reciprocates according to the tension or compression of a spring, and a damping mounting part (452) for installing the damping housing (451).
[0116] The above damping member (45) is configured as a damping device to prevent shock and injury to the patient by ensuring that the rotation of the above rotating plate (20) is smooth.
[0117] The above damping member (45) can be configured such that, for braking and deceleration, the plunger generally operates by the elasticity of the spring and receives resistance.
[0118] The damping member (45) may be configured such that a plunger for operating as a damper is directly exposed to the outside, and this plunger receives force when the rotating plate (20) rotates. That is, when a patient's load is applied to the rotating plate (20), the plunger (453) comes into contact with the elastic body part (412), and the plunger receives force due to the elastic pressure received from the elastic body part (412).
[0119] The damping housing (451) has a hollow portion formed inside, and at least a part of the plunger (453) can be inserted.
[0120] The plunger (453) may include an actuator (not shown) for reciprocating motion, a spring (not shown) for driving the reciprocating motion of the actuator, and a guide rod (not shown) for operating the actuator.
[0121] The plunger (453) may include a damping head portion (454) that is exposed to the outside of the damping housing (451) and contacts the elastic body portion (412). The damping head portion (454) may be treated to prevent slipping when in contact with the elastic body portion (412).
[0122] Additionally, an anti-slip layer (414) may be formed on the elastic body part (412) so as not to slip when in contact with the damping head part (454).
[0123] An operating channel for operating the plunger (453) may be formed inside the damping housing (451).
[0124] The damping mounting portion (452) may be mounted to the other of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20) by a damping fixing portion (455). The damping fixing portion (455) may be, for example, a screw.
[0125] The elasticity of the elastic body part (412) and the elasticity of the spring of the plunger (453) can be set based on the set load to be described later. That is, the spring of the elastic body part (412) and the plunger (453) can be manufactured according to the set elasticity.
[0126] The damping member (40) may be composed of a plurality of members, and each of the plurality of damping members (40) may be installed adjacent to each of the plurality of stopper members (30).
[0127] Below, with reference to FIG. 7, the operation of the damping member (40) will be explained.
[0128] Referring to FIG. 7(a), the rotating plate (20) is in the first position, at which time the plunger (453) is in a tensioned state and the elastic body part (412) may not be elastically deformed.
[0129] The term "tensioned state of the plunger (453)" means a state in which the spring is tensioned or the plunger (453) is not compressed and fixed.
[0130] At the first position above, the damping head portion (454) may be in contact with or separated from the elastic body portion (412).
[0131] Referring to FIG. 7(b), the patient has placed their foot on the rotating plate (20) and is applying a load, and the rotating plate (20) may be partially rotated from the first position.
[0132] When a patient places their foot on the rotating plate (20) and applies a load, the rotating plate (20) rotates partially, and the plunger (453) and the elastic body part (412) press against each other. That is, the elastic body part (412) begins to undergo elastic deformation due to the tensile force of the spring of the plunger (453), and the spring of the plunger (453) begins to be compressed due to the elastic force of the elastic body part (412).
[0133] At this time, the elasticity of the elastic body part (412) and the elasticity of the spring of the plunger (453) can be set based on the set load, and if the load applied by the patient to the rotating plate (20) is smaller than the set load, the elastic body part (412) and the spring of the plunger (453) can be maintained without further deformation.
[0134] That is, if the load applied by the patient to the rotating plate (20) is less than the set load, the patient may use the rotating plate (20) as a footrest. The set load may be set based on the patient's body weight and may be defined as the load applied when the patient steps on the rotating plate (20) to get out of bed.
[0135] Therefore, when the patient simply lowers their foot out of the patient bed (B) rather than leaving the bed, the rotating plate (20) is prevented from rotating beyond a certain limit, thereby preventing the patient's discomfort and preventing the indiscriminate transmission of notifications to guardians or caregivers.
[0136] Referring to FIG. 7(c), when the load applied by the patient to the rotating plate (20) is greater than the set load, the springs of the elastic body part (412) and the plunger (453) can be elastically deformed. In other words, when the load applied by the patient to the rotating plate is greater than the set load, the springs of the plunger and the elastic body part are elastically deformed, and the rotating plate can rotate in a first direction at a first position.
[0137] That is, when the rotating plate is rotated in the first direction and positioned at the second position and the spring of the plunger (453) is fixed in a compressed state, the plunger (453) and the elastic body part (412) can be elastically deformed and maintained in a contact state.
[0138] When the spring of the plunger (453) is in a compressed fixed state, at least a portion of the plunger (453) can be inserted into the interior of the damping housing (451).
[0139] In addition, if the load applied by the patient to the rotating plate (20) is greater than the set load, the elastic force of the springs of the elastic body part (412) and the plunger (453) prevents the rotating plate (20) from rotating abruptly and allows it to rotate smoothly. Through this, a situation in which the patient is injured due to the abrupt rotation of the rotating plate (20) can be prevented.
[0140] Additionally, when the elastic body part (412) and the plunger (453) are in contact and the plunger (453) is compressed, the compression fixation of the plunger (453) can be released when the guardian or caregiver presses the rotating plate (20) using their foot. In other words, when the rotating plate (20) is pressed in the first direction while the rotating plate (20) is in the second position, the compression fixation of the spring of the plunger (453) is released, thereby allowing the guardian or caregiver to easily restore the rotating plate (20) to the first position.
[0141] In one embodiment, the elastic damping member (40) may further include an elastic magnet (not shown) that is coupled to or detachably provided with the fixed body part (411). The elastic magnet may be installed on the other side of the fixed plate (10) and the rotating plate (20). That is, when the rotating plate (20) is in the first position, the elastic magnet may be magnetically coupled to the fixed body part (411).
[0142] Through this, when the rotating plate (20) returns from the second position to the first position, easier restoration may be possible due to the relationship between the elastic magnet and the fixed body part (411).
[0143] In addition, when the rotating plate (20) returns from the second position to the first position, faster restoration is possible due to the relationship between the vertical member (311) and the first stopper magnet (320).
[0144] Figure 8 is a drawing showing a patient sitting on a bed with their feet on the rotating plate and the rotating plate rotated.
[0145] FIG. 8 is illustrated with the patient placing their foot on the rotating plate (20), but in reality, the rotating plate (20) will rotate to a second position by the motion of the patient’s calf hitting the rotating plate (20) or the heel touching the rotating plate (20). When the rotating plate (20) rotates to the second position, the arm (27) presses the sensor notification unit (60), and the sensor notification unit (60) can transmit or output a notification. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, when the sensor notification unit (60) is pressed, the caregiver or guardian may be notified that a danger has occurred via a mobile phone, a central control monitor, or a notification bell. The caregiver or guardian may recognize the occurrence of danger, check the patient's condition, and then turn off the notification bell directly. This fall notification system can be applied to both homes and nursing facilities.
[0146] Referring to FIG. 8, the patient (H) can place their foot on the rotating plate (20), and if the load applied by the patient (H) to the rotating plate (20) is less than the set load, the patient can use the rotating plate (20) as a footrest.
[0147] When the load applied by the patient (H) to the rotating plate (20) is greater than or equal to the set load, the rotating plate (20) can rotate to the second position. At this time, the vertical member (311) and the first stopper magnet (320) can be separated.
[0148] Additionally, when the rotating plate (20) rotates to the second position, the plunger (453) may be compressed and fixed, and the elastic body part (412) may be in an elastically deformed state.
[0149] Additionally, when the rotating plate (20) is rotated to the second position, the arm (27) presses the sensor notification unit (60), and the sensor notification unit (60) can transmit or output a notification.
[0150] Afterward, when a guardian or caregiver presses the rotating plate (20) in the first direction, the compression fixed state of the plunger (453) is released, and due to the tensile force of the spring of the plunger (453) and the elastic force of the elastic body part (412), the rotating plate (20) can rotate in the second direction and return to the first position.
