Abstract
Description
Drug spray device and drug spray tip used therein
[0001] The present invention relates to a drug injection device that injects a drug into the body of a treatment subject without a needle, by driving a piston to operate inside the device and enabling the injection of a drug by the operation of the piston.
[0002] Drug injectors, also known as needleless syringes, are medical devices that deliver medication without using traditional subcutaneous needles. Needleless syringes utilize high-pressure technology to eject a liquid stream of medication to penetrate the skin.
[0003] A standard needleless syringe pushes medication through a nozzle using a piston. These needleless syringes are gaining popularity due to their advantages, such as providing better administration effects compared to conventional needle syringes, allowing people who are afraid of needles to undergo vaccinations without fear, and reducing medical waste.
[0004] As such, various methods are used as mechanisms to operate the piston to spray the drug, including methods utilizing the pressure of compressed air or combustion gases, methods utilizing the elastic force of a spring, and methods utilizing the magnetic force of a solenoid coil.
[0005] In this regard, prior art documents such as US Published Patent No. 2016-0199579, US Published Patent No. 2004-0158195, Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-2093951, and Korean Published Patent Publication No. 2021-0070883 have been disclosed.
[0006] A drug injection device according to conventional technology is configured such that a drug is introduced into a drug receiving space within a cylinder through a drug flow path connected from an external drug supply unit to the cylinder, and a piston is moved to pressurize the inside of the drug receiving space, thereby causing the drug to move to a nozzle and perform drug injection through the nozzle.
[0007] However, for drug injection to occur normally, the pressure must be above a certain level when the drug moves from the drug receiving space to the nozzle. According to the conventional technology described above, when the piston pressurizes the inside of the drug receiving space, the drug within the space does not move to the nozzle by directly receiving the piston's pressure; instead, a portion of the drug pressurized by the piston flows back into the drug delivery path, resulting in a problem where the pressure of the drug moving to the nozzle is reduced accordingly.

[0015] Additionally, preferably, the drug injection tip comprises a drug cylinder forming the drug chamber, and the drug cylinder comprises a drug injector configured to receive a drug from the drug source and a drug injection channel formed to allow the drug from the drug injector to flow into the drug injector formed in the drug chamber.
[0016] Additionally, preferably, the drug chamber is configured to have an inlet equipped with the chamber cover and an outlet in the direction of drug injection, forming a predetermined drug receiving space between them, and the drug inlet is formed in the section from the inlet to a position where the chamber cover can enter the interior of the inlet upon pressurization of the piston, such that the drug inlet is open before pressurization of the piston and the chamber cover enters the interior of the inlet to close the drug inlet upon pressurization of the piston.
[0017] Additionally, preferably, the drug injection channel comprises a first injection channel formed to allow the drug to flow downward from the drug injection section, and a second injection channel that changes direction from the first injection channel and connects to the drug injection port formed in the drug chamber, thereby preventing the drug in the drug chamber from flowing back into the drug injection section when the drug is injected.
[0018] Meanwhile, a drug injection device according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises a handpiece, a piston driven inside the handpiece and moving linearly through the tip of the handpiece, and a drug injection tip coupled to the tip of the handpiece and configured to inject a drug by the pressure of the piston, wherein the drug injection tip comprises a drug chamber for receiving a drug introduced from a drug source, a chamber cover that packs the inlet of the drug chamber and pushes out the drug inside the drug chamber as the piston applies pressure, an expansion portion into which the drug exiting the drug chamber flows for injection, and a connecting portion connecting the outlet of the drug chamber and the expansion portion, wherein a drug inlet for introducing the drug from the drug source into the drug chamber is formed on the connecting portion.
[0019] Additionally, preferably, the drug injection tip is formed in the shape of a Venturi tube, wherein the diameter decreases from the inlet to the outlet of the drug chamber and increases from the connecting portion to the expansion portion, so as to lower the pressure when the drug pressurized in the drug chamber passes through the connecting portion.

A drug inlet is formed on one side of the drug chamber for injecting the drug from the drug source into the drug chamber, and the chamber cover is formed to close the drug inlet while pushing out the drug inside the drug chamber according to the pressure of the piston during drug injection.
[0021] Additionally, preferably, the drug chamber is configured to have an inlet equipped with the chamber cover and an outlet in the direction of drug injection, forming a predetermined drug receiving space between them, and the drug inlet is formed in the section from the inlet to a position where the chamber cover can enter the interior of the inlet upon pressurization of the piston, such that the drug inlet is open before pressurization of the piston and the chamber cover enters the interior of the inlet to close the drug inlet upon pressurization of the piston.
[0022] The drug injection device and the drug injection tip used therein according to the present invention are devices for injecting a drug into the body of a treatment subject by injection through the pressurization of a piston, and have the effect of improving the performance of drug injection by preventing the pressure applied to the drug from being dispersed, such as by preventing the drug pressurized by the piston from flowing back through a drug inlet that injects the drug into a drug chamber in which the drug is received for drug injection, thereby preventing a decrease in the injection pressure of the drug.

[0037] Hereinafter, specific details regarding the drug injection device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0038] First, the configuration of a drug injection device and a drug injection tip used therein according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
[0039] FIG. 1(a) shows a state in which the handpiece (100) and the drug injection tip (300) of a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention are separated, and FIG. 1(b) shows a state in which the drug injection tip (300) is coupled to the handpiece (100) shown in FIG. 1(a). FIG. 2 shows a cross-section II of the handpiece and the drug injection tip of the drug injection device shown in FIG. 1(a) in a separated state. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the main components of the drug injection tip shown in FIG. 2 in an exploded view.
[0040] A drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a device for administering a drug into the skin for skin treatment of a patient, and is capable of injecting the drug into the skin without an injection needle.
[0041] For example, when injecting a filler into the skin of a patient, the filler can be injected into the skin without a needle by using a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0042] A drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention may be configured to include a handpiece (100) that can be held by a practitioner's hand, and a drug injection tip (300) coupled to the tip of the handpiece (100). The drug injection tip (300) is replaceable as a consumable and is detachably coupled to the tip of the handpiece (100).
[0043] The drug injection tip (300) may be configured to include a drug cylinder (200) having a drug chamber to be described later, and a nozzle tip (310) coupled to the tip of the drug cylinder (200).
[0044] The nozzle tip (310) can be detachably coupled to the tip of the drug cylinder (200), and the drug cylinder (200) can be detachably coupled to the tip of the handpiece (100).
[0045] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the drug cylinder (200) may be configured to have a cylinder body (210), a drug supply head (230) provided on one side of the cylinder body (210), and a cap body (220) coupled to the rear end of the cylinder body (210).
[0046] A drug supply head (230) coupled to a drug cylinder (200) is for supplying a drug from an external drug source into the cylinder body (210), and the drug supply head (230) may be provided with a drug source coupling part (232) to enable coupling to a drug source.
[0047] The cylinder body (210) is provided with a drug chamber (240) that receives a drug supplied from a drug supply head (230).
[0048] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the drug chamber (240) may be formed in a conical shape, and an inner wall surface (243) may be formed such that the diameter gradually decreases from the open inlet (241) to the outlet (244). Since the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) is formed very narrowly, the drug may be allowed to flow rapidly toward the nozzle tip as it passes through the outlet (244). The outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) may be configured to be connected to an extension (245) formed at its tip. The extension (245) may be provided with an opening / closing member (321) for opening and closing the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240).
[0049] The drug supply head (230) may be equipped with a drug source coupling part (232) to which an external drug source is connected, and a drug injection part (212) to which a drug is injected from the drug source into the drug chamber (240). A syringe, ampoule, or vial in which a drug is stored may be coupled to the drug source coupling part (232) as a drug source.
[0050] The drug injection part (212) is equipped with an injection part valve (234), which is a one-way valve that opens when the drug is supplied from the drug source coupling part (232) and closes when the drug is not supplied, thereby preventing the drug stored in the drug chamber (240) from flowing back toward the drug supply head (230).
[0051] A drug injection channel (214, 216) may be formed in the cylinder body (210) so that the drug from the above-mentioned drug injection part (212) can flow into the drug injection port (218) formed in the drug chamber (240), and a drug injection guide (213) may be formed at the bottom of the drug injection part (212) to guide the drug from the drug injection part (212) to flow stably into the drug injection channel (214).
[0052] As illustrated in FIG. 3, an extension (245) is formed at the tip of the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) formed in the cylinder body (210) and communicates with the drug delivery hole (312) formed in the nozzle tip (310). A spring (322) is installed in the drug delivery hole (312) of the nozzle tip (310), and an opening / closing member (321) is provided in the extension (245), and the opening / closing member (321) can be configured to be elastically supported by the spring (322).
[0053] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the opening / closing member (321) is equipped with a body part (VB) fitted into a spring (322) and a head part (VH) disposed in an extension part (245) connected to the outlet of the drug chamber (240). Since the head part (VH) is pushed by elastic force while the spring (322) is compressed in a predetermined state in the drug delivery hole (312) and the head part (VH) is blocked at the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240), the drug inside the drug chamber (240) is prevented from leaking toward the nozzle tip. Additionally, since the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) is equipped with a chamber cover (250) to seal the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240), the drug inside the drug chamber (240) is prevented from leaking toward the handpiece.
[0054] The extension (245) connected to the exit (244) of the drug chamber is formed such that the diameter of the hole gradually increases as it moves forward from the drug chamber (240), allowing the exit (244) to be easily opened and closed as the hemispherical shape of the head portion (VH) of the opening / closing member (321) moves back and forth.
[0055] In this state, when the chamber cover (250) is elastically deformed by the piston (150) and enters the drug chamber (240) to pressurize the drug, the pressure causes the head portion (VH) of the opening / closing member (321) to further compress the spring (322), thereby opening the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) so that the drug is delivered to the drug delivery hole (312) and sprayed out through the nozzle (330).
[0056] As shown in FIG. 2, the cap body (220) provided at the rear end of the drug cylinder (200) can be inserted between the operating cylinder (110) provided at the front of the handpiece (100) and the front case (115) and coupled thereto. At this time, a piston hole (225) is formed inside the cap body (220), and as the cap body (220) is coupled to the front case (115) of the handpiece, the operating cylinder (110) and the piston hole (225) are connected, so that the front end (151) of the piston (150) is positioned inside the piston hole (225) and the piston (150) can move within the piston hole (225) and the operating cylinder (110).
[0057] The handpiece (100) is the part that the operator holds in their hand. The drug cylinder (200) receives and receives drug through a drug source (not shown) connected to the drug source coupling part (232) of the drug supply head (230), and the tip (151) of the piston (150) provided inside the handpiece (100) pressurizes the drug contained in the drug cylinder (200) and delivers it to the nozzle tip (310) through the drug delivery path. The nozzle tip (310) sprays the drug delivered from the drug cylinder (200) through the nozzle (330) by the pressurizing force of the piston (150).
[0058] The piston (150) of the handpiece (100) can repeatedly pressurize the drug cylinder (200) at high speed, and accordingly, drug can be sprayed repeatedly at high speed through the nozzle (330).
[0059] As illustrated in FIG. 2, a handpiece (100) of a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise a handpiece case (101) forming an exterior, a driving cylinder (140) mounted inside the handpiece case (101), and an operating cylinder (110) mounted at the tip of the driving cylinder (140) inside the handpiece case (101).
[0060] A cable (not shown) for transmitting electrical signals for power and control to the handpiece case (101) may be connected to the rear end of the handpiece case (101). An operating cylinder (110) for guiding the piston (150) to move forward and backward may be provided at the front end of the driving cylinder (140). The operating cylinder (110) may be provided by combining a first operating cylinder (112) and a second operating cylinder (114), or the first operating cylinder (112) and the second operating cylinder (114) may be integrated to be provided as a single component.
[0061] As shown in FIG. 2, the piston (150) is provided inside the first operating cylinder (112) and the second operating cylinder (114), and the piston protrusion (153) may be positioned between the piston stopper (122) provided in the first operating cylinder (112) and the piston seat (123) provided in the second operating cylinder (114).
[0062] Accordingly, when the piston (150) moves forward, the movement of the piston projection (153) is restricted by the piston stopper (122), and when the piston (150) moves backward, the movement of the piston projection (153) is restricted by the piston seat (132), so that the piston (150) can move forward or backward by the distance the piston projection (153) moves between the piston stopper (122) and the piston seat (132).
[0063] A driving cylinder (140) may be provided at the rear of the above-mentioned operating cylinder (110), and the rear end of the piston (150) may be positioned in the driving cylinder (140).
[0064] A plunger seat (142) is disposed at the rear end of the driving cylinder (140). A plunger (144) is provided between the rear end (152) of the piston and the plunger seat (142) inside the driving cylinder (140) so as to be able to advance and retract a predetermined distance, and a solenoid coil (146) may be disposed on the outer surface of the driving cylinder (140).
[0065] Inside the drive cylinder (140), the plunger seat (142) and the rear end (152) of the piston (150) are separated by a predetermined distance, and the plunger (144) can move by that distance.
[0066] The plunger seat (142) may be a permanent magnet. The plunger seat (142) may be fixed inside the rear end of the drive cylinder (140), and the solenoid coil (146) may be wound and positioned on the outer surface of the front part of the drive cylinder (140) and configured to be insulated so as not to be affected even if liquid is present outside.
[0067] As current is applied to the solenoid coil (146) wound on the outer circumference of the front part of the driving cylinder (140), a magnetic field is generated inside and around the coil (146), that is, inside and around the front side of the driving cylinder (140). The direction of the magnetic field changes depending on the direction of the current applied to the solenoid coil (146), and the plunger (144) provided inside the driving cylinder (140) can move forward or backward depending on the direction of the magnetic field generated by the solenoid coil (146).
[0068] The plunger (144) may be a permanent magnet that is provided inside the driving cylinder (140) and can move according to the magnetic field of the solenoid coil (146). The plunger (144) is positioned between the rear end of the piston (150) and the plunger seat (142). The plunger (144) advances by the solenoid coil (146) to apply an impact force to the rear end (152) of the piston (150), and the piston (150) can move forward by that force.
[0069] The plunger (144) can be pushed backward by the piston (150) as the piston (150) moves backward. The plunger (144) moves backward by the piston (150) and comes into contact with the plunger seat (142). At this time, the mutually facing surfaces of the plunger seat (142), which is a permanent magnet, and the plunger (144), which is a permanent magnet, can each have different polarities so that the plunger (144) can be attached to the plunger seat (142) by magnetic force.
[0070] In this state, when a predetermined current is applied to the solenoid coil (146), the plunger (144) moves toward the piston (150) by the magnetic field generated in the driving cylinder (140), applying an impact force to the rear end (152) of the piston, and the piston (150) moves forward by that impact force. After the piston moves forward, if the application of current to the solenoid coil (146) is stopped or a current in the opposite direction is applied, the piston (150) moves backward, pushing the plunger (144) back toward the plunger seat (142), and the plunger (144) moving accordingly can be reattached to the plunger seat (142) by magnetic force. In this way, the plunger (144) can repeatedly move forward and backward at high speed to repeatedly advance the piston (150).
[0071] The plunger (144) may be formed with a hollow interior, thereby reducing the impact that may occur when the plunger (144) is attached to the plunger sheet (142). The plunger sheet (142) or the plunger (144) may be provided with a cushioning member to further reduce the impact that may occur when the plunger (144) is attached to the plunger sheet (142).
[0072] When the plunger (144) retracts after the piston operation, the polarity of the plunger seat (142) is changed again to attract the plunger (144) with magnetic force so that the plunger (144) comes into contact with the plunger seat (142), thereby ensuring sufficient travel distance of the plunger (144).
[0073] FIG. 2 illustrates a configuration in which a solenoid and a plunger are provided as driving means for moving the piston, but the present invention is not limited thereto and may include all cases in which the piston can be driven in various ways, such as using the elastic force of a spring as a driving source for the piston.
[0074] Meanwhile, as previously described, the drug cylinder (200), which is detachably coupled to the tip of the handpiece (100), supplies the drug from the drug supply head (230) and delivers the drug to the nozzle tip (310). The drug cylinder (200) is a consumable and can be separated from the handpiece (100) and replaced. At the tip of the drug chamber (240) formed in the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder (200), a drug delivery hole (with a spring (322) and an opening / closing member (321) installed) connected to the nozzle tip (310) is provided, and at the rear end of the drug chamber (240), a chamber cover (250) may be provided.
[0075] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the chamber cover (250) is provided at the rear end of the drug chamber (240), i.e., the inlet (241), to seal the drug chamber (240). It is formed of a material that is elastically deformable, so that as the piston applies pressure, it deforms by elasticity and enters the inside of the drug chamber (240), thereby pressurizing the drug filled in the drug chamber (240) and delivering it to the nozzle tip (310). The chamber cover (250) may be provided between the cylinder body (210) and the cap body (220), and seals the circumference of the drug chamber (240) by packing it.
[0076] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the chamber cover (250) may be configured to include a cover body (252) that forms a center and has a rear surface to which the piston (150) is in contact, a cover rim (254) that forms the circumference of the cover body (252) and elastically supports the cover body (252), and a packing part (256) that forms the circumference of the cover rim (254) and is packed and fixed in a packing groove (242) formed around the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) to seal the drug chamber (240). One side of the packing part (256) may be fitted into a packing groove (242) formed in the cylinder body (210), and the opposite side of the packing part (256) may be configured to be fitted and fixed into a groove (222) formed at the front end of a cap body (220) that is coupled to the rear end of the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder.
[0077] The cover body (252) of the chamber cover (250) may be formed with a size that allows it to be inserted inward a predetermined distance from the opening (241) of the drug chamber (240) as the piston (150) applies pressure from the rear. It is preferable to provide the chamber cover (250) by predetermining the size or elasticity of the cover body (252) so that sufficient injection pressure can be produced as the drug is inserted into the drug chamber (240) corresponding to the size of the tip portion (151) of the piston (150) and pressurized. The cover body (252) of the chamber cover may have a concave surface formed on the rear side where the tip portion of the piston (150) contacts, and the front side may be formed in a dome shape that is convex toward the front.
[0078] With the drug contained in the drug chamber (240) equipped with the chamber cover (250) as described above, the piston (150) is driven as previously explained in FIG. 2 to push the chamber cover (250) and pressurize the drug contained in the drug chamber (240) so that the drug can be sprayed through the nozzle tip. However, a problem may occur in which the pressure of the drug spray is lowered, and this will be explained with reference to FIG. 4.
[0079] Figure 4 is a diagram illustrating the problem of the drug inlet being open when the piston pressurizes the drug chamber in a drug injection device.
[0080] As illustrated in FIG. 4(a), a drug injection part (212) and a one-way valve (234) are provided in the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder, and a drug injection port (SH) is formed on one side of the drug chamber (240). A drug supplied from an external drug supply part (not shown) is temporarily received in the drug injection part (212), and then the drug (LD) can be filled into the drug chamber (240) through the drug injection port (SH) along the drug injection path (FP).
[0081] At this time, the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) is closed by the elastic force of the spring (322) of the opening / closing valve (321), and the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) is sealed by the chamber cover (250) being packed.
[0082] As shown in FIG. 4(a), when the front end of the piston (150) is in close contact with the rear of the chamber cover (250) and the piston (150) is driven to move forward and push the chamber cover (250), as shown in FIG. 4(b), the chamber cover (250) is deformed by the piston (150) and enters the drug chamber (240) to pressurize the drug (LD).
[0083] At this time, the pressurized drug inside the drug chamber (240) pushes the opening / closing member (321) with that pressure, causing the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) to open and flow into the nozzle (330) so that drug injection can be performed.
[0084] However, when the drug in the drug chamber (240) is pressurized by the piston (150) and the chamber cover (250), the applied pressure is not fully transferred to the pressure of the drug injection, and as shown in Fig. 4 (b), some of the drug in the drug chamber (240) flows back toward the drug injection part (212) through the drug inlet (SH), causing the pressure of the drug in the drug chamber (240) to be dispersed.
[0085] That is, as shown in Fig. 4(b), as the piston (150) is driven and moves forward, the chamber cover (250) is deformed and pressurizes the drug (LD) in the drug chamber (240). As a result, some of the drug flows back through the drug inlet (SH) along the drug inlet path (FP) to the drug inlet (212), causing the pressure of the drug in the drug chamber (240) to decrease, and thus the drug that has moved to the nozzle cannot be sprayed at normal pressure, and the spray pressure drops.
[0086] Returning to FIG. 3, a drug injection device and a drug injection tip used therein according to one embodiment of the present invention provide a configuration in which, in order to solve the problem described above, when the piston (150) pushes the chamber cover (250) to pressurize the drug in the drug chamber (240), the chamber cover (250) closes the drug inlet (218), thereby allowing the pressure applied to the drug in the drug chamber (240) to be fully utilized for drug injection.
[0087] As illustrated in FIG. 3, a drug injection device and a drug injection tip used therein according to one embodiment of the present invention are characterized in that the drug inlet (218) is formed to be positioned as close as possible to the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240), so that the chamber cover (250) is deformed according to the pressure of the piston (150) to push out the drug inside the drug chamber (240) and close the drug inlet (218), thereby preventing the injection pressure of the drug from decreasing.
[0088] The features of a drug injection device and a drug injection tip used therein according to one embodiment of the present invention as described above will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 5 to 8.
[0089] FIG. 5 is a drawing showing the main components, mainly focusing on the drug chamber, of the configuration shown in FIG. 3 as a drug injection tip of a drug injection device according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 shows the state of the drug injection tip before the drug injection operation of the drug injection device according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 7 shows the state of the drug injection tip during the drug injection operation, and FIG. 8 shows the state of the drug injection tip after the drug injection operation.
[0090] A drug injection device and a drug injection tip used therein according to one embodiment of the present invention are intended to increase the injection pressure by preventing the pressure of the pressurized drug from decreasing when the drug chamber is pressurized by a piston, and to this end, a method is presented that can achieve a high drug pressure reduction prevention effect in a simple manner without the addition of a separate device structure.
[0091] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the drug injection tip of a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured such that a drug injection port (218) is formed at a position within a predetermined section from the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) to introduce a drug from a drug source into the drug chamber (240), and can be configured such that the chamber cover (250) is deformed as the piston (150) presses the chamber cover (250) for drug injection, thereby pushing out the drug inside the drug chamber (240) and closing the drug injection port (218) formed at the position within the predetermined section as described above.
[0092] That is, since the chamber cover (250) can pressurize the drug while blocking the drug inlet (218) when it enters the drug chamber (240) by means of a piston, it is possible to fundamentally prevent a portion of the drug from flowing back through the drug inlet, and accordingly, the injection pressure of the drug can be increased without loss of pressure, which is a feature of the present invention.
[0093] For this purpose, the location of the drug inlet (218) formed in the drug chamber (240) is important. As shown in FIG. 5, it is preferable that the drug inlet (218) be formed on the section (ER) from the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) to a position where the chamber cover (250) can enter the inlet (241) according to the pressure of the piston (150). The above-mentioned section ER will be referred to as the "inlet section."
[0094] As described above, when a drug inlet (218) is formed in the inlet section (ER) on the inner wall surface (243) of the drug chamber (240), the chamber cover (240) deforms when the piston pressurizes and blocks the drug inlet (218), so the drug inside the drug chamber (240) does not leak out to another place and can move to the nozzle (330) and be sprayed while maintaining almost its pressure, thus solving the problem as described in FIG. 4.
[0095] As described above, by forming a drug inlet (218) on the inlet section (ER), a flow path is formed from the drug inlet section (212) to the drug inlet (218). By changing the structure of such a drug inlet flow path differently from the conventional method, the pressure of the drug can be prevented from being dispersed.
[0096] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder is provided with a drug injection part (212) for receiving a drug from an external drug source, a drug injection guide (213) formed at the bottom of the drug injection part (212), and a drug injection path formed so that the drug can flow from the drug injection guide (213) to the drug injection port (218). At this time, the path may be formed as a single path so that the drug can flow directly from the drug injection part (212) or the drug injection guide (213) to the drug injection port (218), or the path may be formed so that the drug can flow by changing direction in the middle.
[0097] It may be more desirable to form the drug injection path in two directions by turning the path in the middle, rather than forming the path in a single path so that the drug can flow directly from the drug injection part (212) or the drug injection guide (213) to the drug injection port (218), in order to prevent drug backflow.
[0098] That is, the drug injection channel may be formed to include a first injection channel section (214) formed so that the drug flows downward from the drug injection section (212), and a second injection channel section (216) that turns from the first injection channel section (214) and connects to a drug injection port (218) formed in the injection port section (ER).
[0099] For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the drug injection channel may be configured such that the first injection channel section (214) is formed in a vertical direction and the second injection channel section (216) is formed in a horizontal direction.
[0100] As described above, when the drug is injected, the chamber cover (250) enters the drug chamber (240) and blocks the drug inlet (218), so the drug can be prevented from leaking out in directions other than the injection direction. However, even if a small amount of drug leaks out through the drug inlet (218), the first injection channel and the second injection channel are configured in different directions as described above, thereby preventing the drug from flowing back toward the drug inlet as much as possible.
[0101] The operation of a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8. FIGS. 6 to 8 illustrate the operation of the main components of the drug injection tip according to one embodiment of the present invention illustrated in FIG. 5, and the position of the drug inlet represents a configuration formed in the inlet section (ER) as illustrated in FIG. 5.
[0102] As the drug injection tip is attached to the handpiece, the tip of the piston (150) is positioned on the rear of the cover body (252) of the chamber cover (250) that packs the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) provided in the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder, as shown in FIG. 6.
[0103] At this time, as a drug source is installed externally, the drug is collected in the drug injection part (212), and the drug passes through the drug injection guide (213) and the drug injection channel (214, 216) and is injected into the inside of the drug chamber (240) through the drug injection port (218) to fill it.
[0104] At this time, the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240) is closed by the opening / closing member (321) and the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) is blocked by the chamber cover (250), so the drug introduced into the drug chamber (240) can be filled without leakage.
[0105] When operation is initiated in this state, as shown in FIG. 7, the piston (150) pushes the cover body (252) of the chamber cover (250) to enter the drug chamber (240), creating a portion (250a) of the chamber cover (250) that comes into contact with the inner wall of the drug chamber (240), and the contact portion (250a) closes the drug inlet (218). Looking at the dotted circle marked A in FIG. 7, it can be seen that the chamber cover (250) closes the drug inlet (218).
[0106] In this way, since the chamber cover (250), which enters the drug chamber (240) by means of the piston (2150), can naturally block the drug inlet (218) while pressurizing the drug inside the drug chamber (240), the backflow of the drug inside the drug chamber (240) through some of the drug inlet (218) due to internal pressure can be fundamentally prevented, and the increase in pressure of the internal drug due to the pressurization of the chamber cover (250) can be fully utilized for the drug injection part.
[0107] That is, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the pressurized drug inside the drug chamber (240) pushes the opening / closing member (321) installed in the expansion part (245) with that pressure to open the outlet (244) of the drug chamber (240), allowing the drug to be sprayed from the nozzle (330) through the drug delivery hole (312). At this time, since the pressure of the sprayed drug is not lost within the drug chamber (240), a high spray pressure can be maintained.
[0108] Even if the drug inlet (218) is not completely sealed by the chamber cover (250) and a small amount of drug flows into the drug inlet (218), backflow of the drug can be prevented due to the structural characteristics of the first injection channel (214) and the second injection channel (216), and the injection pressure of the drug when injected can be maintained at a high level.
[0109] After the drug injection is performed as described above, as shown in FIG. 8, the spring (322) installed in the drug delivery hole (312) is elastically restored so that the opening / closing member (321) is in close contact with the expansion part (245), thereby closing the outlet (244) again, and the chamber cover (250) is also elastically restored and returns to its original position in the direction of the arrow, thereby opening the drug inlet (218) and pushing the piston (150) in the direction of the arrow, so that the pressure inside the drug chamber (240) is lowered accordingly, and the drug is introduced into the drug chamber (240) from the drug inlet (212) through the drug inlet guide (213) and the drug inlet passage (214, 216).
[0110] When the drug is introduced into and filled into the drug chamber (240) in this manner, it returns to the state shown in FIG. 6, and when the piston operates again in that state, the chamber cover (250) blocks the drug inlet (218) as shown in FIG. 7, thereby enabling the drug to be sprayed.
[0111] In the manner described above, the drug injection device and the drug injection tip used therein according to one embodiment of the present invention have the advantage that, when the drug is injected, the chamber cover (250) effectively blocks the drug inlet (218), thereby enabling the drug to be injected at a high pressure without pressure loss, without the need for a separate device or structural addition.
[0112] Meanwhile, the configuration and operation of a drug injection device according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 9 to 11.
[0113] FIG. 9 shows the state of a drug injection tip before a drug injection operation of a drug injection device according to another embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 10 shows the state of a drug injection tip during a drug injection operation, and FIG. 11 shows the state of a drug injection tip after a drug injection operation.
[0114] In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 6 to 8 described above, the position of the drug inlet formed in the drug chamber is located within the inlet section so that when the piston operates, the chamber cover can close the drug inlet, thereby preventing the pressure of the drug inside the drug chamber from dropping. However, in the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 11, the drug inlet is formed at the outlet (244) of the drug chamber, and an effect similar to that of fluid passing through a venturi tube is produced, thereby preventing backflow of the drug through the drug inlet and preventing a drop in pressure.
[0115] The drug injection tip of the drug injection device according to the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 11 may be configured to include a drug chamber (240) that receives a drug introduced from a drug source, a chamber cover (250) that packs the inlet of the drug chamber (240) and pushes out the drug inside the drug chamber (240) as the piston (150) applies pressure, an expansion portion (245) into which the drug coming out of the outlet of the drug chamber (240) is introduced for injection, and a connecting portion (249) that connects the outlet of the drug chamber (240) and the expansion portion (245), and is characterized in that a drug inlet (219) into which the drug from the drug inlet (212) is introduced into the drug chamber (240) is formed on the connecting portion (249).
[0116] The connecting portion (249) is formed in the shape of a small diameter tube connecting the outlet of the drug chamber (240) and the expansion portion (245).
[0117] That is, the overall configuration of the drug chamber (240) and the expansion section (245) as described above can be formed in the shape of a Venturi tube, in which the diameter decreases from the inlet to the outlet of the drug chamber (240) and increases from the connection section (249) to the expansion section.
[0118] A drug injection channel (215) formed from a drug injection guide (213) at the bottom of the drug injection section (212) is formed on the aforementioned connecting section (249), and a drug injection port (219) is formed at the end of the drug injection channel (215), that is, at the connecting section (249).
[0119] Accordingly, when the pressurized drug in the drug chamber (240) moves to the outlet and passes through the connection part (249), the pressure within the connection part (249) is lowered by the Venturi effect, and the drug passing through the connection part (249) is not allowed to flow back through the drug inlet (219), but rather the drug can be allowed to flow from the drug inlet (219) into the connection part (249).
[0120] Here, it is not important that the drug flows from the drug inlet (219) to the connection part (249), but rather that the important part is that it is possible to prevent a portion of the drug pressurized by the piston and the chamber cover from flowing back through the drug inlet (219) toward the drug injection part (212).
[0121] That is, as described above, when a drug inlet (219) is formed in the connecting part (249), the speed of the drug passing through the connecting part (249) increases due to the Venturi effect, and the pressure is lowered slightly, and accordingly, the drug can flow from the drug inlet (219) to the connecting part (249), but in reality, the amount of flow may be small or almost no flow may occur. However, even if the drug does not flow from the drug inlet, as the pressure of the drug flowing through the connecting part is lowered slightly, at least some of the drug passing through the connecting part can be prevented from flowing back through the drug inlet.
[0122] If drug backflow is prevented in this way, the loss of pressurization force when the drug is pressurized can be prevented, and consequently, the drop in drug injection pressure can also be prevented.
[0123] The operation of a drug injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention as described above will be explained.
[0124] As the drug injection tip is attached to the handpiece, the tip of the piston (150) is positioned on the rear of the cover body (252) of the chamber cover (250) that packs the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) provided in the cylinder body (210) of the drug cylinder, as shown in FIG. 9.
[0125] At this time, as a drug source is installed externally, the drug is collected in the drug injection part (212), and the drug passes through the drug injection guide (213) and the drug injection channel (215) and is injected into the inside of the drug chamber (240) through the drug injection port (219) to fill it.
[0126] At this time, the connection part (249) of the exit of the drug chamber (240) is closed by the opening / closing member (321), and the inlet (241) of the drug chamber (240) is blocked by the chamber cover (250), so the drug introduced into the drug chamber (240) can be filled without leakage.
[0127] When operation is initiated in this state, as shown in FIG. 10, the piston (150) pushes the cover body (252) of the chamber cover (250) to pressurize the drug inside the drug chamber (240). The drug inside the drug chamber (240) is pressurized, and with that pressure, the opening / closing member (321) installed in the expansion part (245) is pushed to open the connection part (249) of the drug chamber (240) outlet, allowing the drug to be sprayed from the nozzle (330) through the drug delivery hole (312).
[0128] At this time, looking at the dotted circle part marked B in Fig. 9, as the drug passes through the connecting part (249), which is a narrow tube, pressurized in the drug chamber (240), the speed increases and the pressure drops slightly due to the Venturi effect. At this time, a small amount of drug from the drug injection channel (215) is introduced into the connecting part (249) through the drug inlet (219) on the connecting part (249), or at least the drug passing through the connecting part (249) is prevented from flowing back through the drug inlet (219).
[0129] Accordingly, a high injection pressure can be maintained because the pressure of the injected drug is not lost while flowing from the drug chamber to the nozzle.
[0130] After the drug injection is performed as described above, as shown in FIG. 11, the spring (322) installed in the drug delivery hole (312) is elastically restored so that the opening / closing member (321) is in close contact with the expansion part (245), thereby sealing the connection part (249) again, and the chamber cover (250) is also elastically restored and returns to its original position in the direction of the arrow, pushing the piston (150) in the direction of the arrow, so that the pressure inside the drug chamber (240) is lowered accordingly, and the drug is introduced into the drug chamber (240) from the drug injection part (212) through the drug injection guide (213), the drug injection channel (215), and the drug injection port (219).
[0131] When the drug is introduced into and filled into the drug chamber (240) in this manner, it becomes a state as shown in FIG. 9, and when the piston is operated again in that state, drug injection can be performed as shown in FIG. 10.
[0132] In the manner described above, the drug injection device and the drug injection tip used therein according to another embodiment of the present invention have the advantage of being able to prevent the drug from flowing back into the drug inlet (219) formed in the connecting part (249) connecting the drug chamber (240) and the expansion part (245) during drug injection, without the need for a separate device or structural addition, thereby enabling drug injection at high pressure without loss.
[0133] The drug injection device and the drug injection tip used therein according to the present invention can be used in medical device-related fields or skin beauty-related fields for treatments involving the administration of drugs into the body of a patient.
