Abstract
Description
A cosmetic composition for lips comprising a silicone-based film-forming agent and an acrylate / silicone hybrid-based film-forming agent.
[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for lips comprising a silicone-based film-forming agent, an acrylate / silicone hybrid-type film-forming agent, a wax, an oil, and a pigment.
[0002] Cosmetic compositions for the lips play an important role in improving appearance and maintaining lip health. Since products utilizing lip cosmetic compositions are applied to the lips, which are a particularly sensitive area, they must possess pigment-fixing capabilities while protecting the lip skin.
[0003] Conventional lip cosmetic compositions have been developed by relying on wax-oil-based matrices to fix pigments to the lip surface. Products utilizing such compositions, which rely on wax-oil-based matrices, have faced problems such as reduced spreadability and lip dryness due to increased stickiness caused by excessively high polymer or wax content to achieve high coloring power and color retention. Furthermore, most silicone-based ingredients fail to block moisture evaporation, leading to issues where pigments do not penetrate the stratum corneum of the lips and easily detach from the surface. Moreover, because products using the aforementioned method rely solely on the physical capture of fine pigment particles, they suffer from weak coloring intensity, resulting in faded or smudging colors and difficulty in maintaining the desired color effect for an extended period.
[0004] To solve these problems, the inventors devised a cosmetic composition for lips that improves coloring power and durability by introducing a network structure formed by mutually complementary combination using a silicone-based film-forming agent and an acrylate / silicone hybrid-based film-forming agent.

[0007] Korean Registered Patent No. 10-2627442
[0008] The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a lip cosmetic composition with strong fixation that maximizes coloring power and prevents smudging and bleeding by preparing the lip cosmetic composition through a combination of film-forming agents. In addition, it provides a lip cosmetic composition with improved applicability and spreadability while preventing lip dryness by inhibiting moisture evaporation.
[0009] To solve the above problem, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition for lips comprising a silicone-based film-forming agent, an acrylate / silicone hybrid-type film-forming agent, a wax, an oil, and a pigment.
[0010] According to the lip cosmetic composition comprising a silicone-based film-forming agent, an acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent, a wax, an oil, and a pigment according to the present invention, the molecular-level bonding strength of the organic pigment is maximized by the combination of film-forming agents, thereby increasing coloring power without smudging or bleeding. In addition, it can exhibit the effect of improved usability due to high moisture retention and enhanced spreadability.
[0011] Figure 1 shows the results of confirming color retention when a lip cosmetic composition according to one embodiment of the present invention is applied to the skin immediately after one application, wiped with a tissue immediately after application, and wiped with a tissue 20 minutes after application.

[0021] The present invention will be described in detail below.
[0022]
[0023] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a cosmetic composition for lips is provided comprising a silicone-based film-forming agent, an acrylate / silicone hybrid-type film-forming agent, a wax, an oil, and a pigment. Each component is described in detail below.
[0024] The above silicone-based film-forming agent is a polymer material based on silicone compounds that forms a flexible and transparent film on the surface of the lips, providing functions such as pigment fixation, moisture retention, and improved durability.
[0025] The above silicone-based film-forming agent is Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone (Bis-C 16-18 alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone), Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Cetyl Dimethicone, C 20-24 Olefin / oleyl alcohol copolymer (C 20-24 Olefin / Oleyl Alcohol Copolymer) and C 30-45 Alkyl dimethicone / polycyclohexanooxide crosspolymer (C 30-45 It may include one or more selected from the group consisting of Alkyl Dimethicone / Polycyclohexene Oxide Crosspolymer. Specifically, the silicone-based film-forming agent is the bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone (Bis-C 16-18It can be alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone.
[0026] The above Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone (Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone) can form an ultrathin film of 20 to 50 nm with a long-chain alkyl group and can flatten the lip surface by reducing lip surface roughness by more than 90%, thereby increasing the chemical bonding efficiency with acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agents. The flattening effect on the lip surface can improve pigment adhesion by allowing pigment particles to be evenly distributed. The above Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone (Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone) has an excellent effect in inhibiting moisture evaporation by forming a hydrophobic film. In addition, Bis-C 16-18 Alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone (Bis-C 16-18 The hydrophobic film formed by alkyl glyceryl undecyl dimethicone has an excellent effect in inhibiting moisture evaporation and improves pigment retention by protecting the pigment from the external environment (e.g., friction or moisture). In addition, the formation of an ultra-thin film and hydrophobic properties allow the pigment to bind strongly to the lip surface, thereby maximizing coloring power.
[0027] The above-mentioned acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent is formed through a radical polymerization reaction between vinyl-functionalized silicon and an acrylate monomer, or forms a graft copolymer through a condensation reaction in the presence of a catalyst between an acrylate monomer containing an alkoxysilyl functional group (-Si-OR) and a hydroxyl group (-OH) of a silicon resin. The silicon network structure incorporated in the above-mentioned acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent physically captures organic pigments to strengthen intermolecular forces with the pigments, and can block moisture evaporation through the hydrophobic interactions of silicon. The acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent has the effect of maximizing long-term color retention.
[0028] The above-mentioned film-forming agent of the acrylate / silicone hybrid series may include one or more selected from the group consisting of phenyl trimethicone*acrylates / dimethicone copolymer, silicone acrylate, acrylates / dimethicone copolymer, acrylates / dimethicone copolymer*isododecane, and acrylates / dimethicone copolymer*undecane*tridecane. Specifically, the film-forming agent of the acrylate / silicon hybrid series may be a phenyl trimethicone*acrylates / dimethicone copolymer, which may be a phenyl trimethicone (and) acrylates / dimethicone copolymer.
[0029] The aforementioned silicone-based film-forming agent and acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent form a single integrated network structure through covalent grafting and enhance the durability of the film formed on the lip surface. The grafted network structure physically captures organic pigments and strengthens bonding forces through intermolecular forces (van der Waals forces), thereby having the effect of increasing color retention.
[0030] The content of the silicone-based film-forming agent may be 0.01 to 30 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Specifically, the content of the silicone-based film-forming agent may be 0.1 to 20 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. More specifically, the content of the silicone-based film-forming agent may be 1 to 10 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the silicone-based film-forming agent is below the above numerical range, the film-forming ability decreases, making it impossible to form a sufficient film on the lip surface, and the pigment fixation and moisture retention effects are weakened, which may result in reduced coloring power. If the content of the silicone-based film-forming agent exceeds the above numerical range, there is a possibility of causing stickiness or stiffness on the lip surface, and the spreadability and absorption of the product may decrease.
[0031] The content of the above-mentioned acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent may be 0.001 to 30 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Specifically, the content of the above-mentioned acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent may be 0.01 to 20 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. More specifically, the content of the above-mentioned acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent may be 0.1 to 10 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the above-mentioned acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent is below the above numerical range, the pigment capture ability is weakened, resulting in reduced color retention, and the binding force with organic pigments weakens, causing the pigment to easily detach from the lip surface. If the content of the above-mentioned acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent exceeds the above numerical range, it abnormally increases the viscosity of the cosmetic composition, causing stickiness and a heavy sensation, thereby degrading the user experience. Additionally, as the network structure is excessively formed, the film becomes rigid, loses flexibility, and may crack or peel upon friction.
[0032] The weight ratio of the silicone-based film-forming agent and the acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent may be 4:0.01 to 20. Specifically, the weight ratio of the silicone-based film-forming agent and the acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent may be 4:0.1 to 10. More specifically, the weight ratio of the silicone-based film-forming agent and the acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent may be 4:0.2 to 10. When the weight ratio of the silicone-based film-forming agent and the acrylate / silicon hybrid film-forming agent is within the above numerical range, the pigment fixing power and dispersibility are improved, and the pigment adhesion power is optimized, allowing the color retention rate to be maintained for a long time. If the above acrylate / silicone hybrid film-forming agent is below the above numerical range, it fails to provide a strong network structure, causing pigment loss due to external friction or moisture, which reduces color retention, and if it exceeds the above numerical range, spreadability decreases, resulting in stiffness or stickiness, and storage stability may decrease.
[0033] The above wax may include one or more selected from the group consisting of sunflower seed wax (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax), synthetic wax, candelilla wax (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax), ethylene / propylene copolymer*synthetic wax, and microcrystalline wax (Cera Microcristallina), but is not limited thereto.
[0034] The content of the wax may be 0.1 to 50 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Specifically, it may be 1 to 50 weight%. More specifically, it may be 2 to 50 weight%. If the content of the wax is less than the above numerical range, it affects the solidification and texture retention of the cosmetic composition, and the product may become soft or oil separation may occur. If the content of the wax exceeds the above numerical range, it makes the cosmetic composition excessively hard, causing stiffness upon application and resulting in a problem of a rigid user experience.
[0035] The above oil is hydrogenated polyisobutene, phytosteryl / isostearyl / cetyl / stearyl / behenyl dimer dilinoleate, isotridecyl isononanoate, phytosteryl / behenyl / octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, dipentaerythrityl pentaisostearate, caprylic / capric triglyceride, phytosteryl / octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, and It may include one or more selected from the group consisting of octyldodecanol and polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, but is not limited thereto.
[0036] The content of the above oil may be 20 to 95 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Specifically, it may be 30 to 95 weight%. More specifically, it may be 40 to 95 weight%. If the oil content is below the above numerical range, a dry feeling may occur and dead skin cells on the lips may become prominent, and if it exceeds the above numerical range, it may cause greasiness and stickiness due to residue remaining unabsorbed into the skin, which may reduce the user experience.
[0037] The above lip cosmetic composition may further include one or more selected from the group consisting of surfactants, antifoaming agents, preservatives, and antioxidants.
[0038] The above surfactants are Lauryl Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone*Tocopherol, Lauryl Dimethicone / Polyglycerin-3 Crosspolymer, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Caprylyl Methicone, Lauryl PEG PPG-18 / 18 Methicone, Stearyl Dimethicone, Polyhydroxystearic Acid*Ethylhexyl Palmitate*Isopropyl Myristate*Isostearic Acid*Lecithin*Polyglyceryl-3 It may include, but is not limited to, one or more selected from the group consisting of polyglyceryl-3 polyricinoleate (polyhydroxystearate / polyhydroxystearate / sebacate), polyglyceryl-4 diisostearate, polyhydroxystearate, polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, sorbitan sesquioleate, ethylhexyl stearate, and hydrogenated castor oil.
[0039] The above defoaming agent may include one or more selected from the group consisting of dimethicone, fluorosilicone oil, hydrophobic silica aerogels, siloxane-oxyalkylene copolymers, and methylhydrosiloxane / dimethylsiloxane copolymer, but is not limited thereto.
[0040] The above pigment comprises, but is not limited to, one or more selected from the group consisting of RED#7, FD&C Red No. 40, Carmine, CI 15850 (Red 6 or Red 7), Red Iron Oxide, Lip Liquid-Pigment Red, UNICERT Red K7057-J, and Mica.
[0041] The above cosmetic composition may further comprise any conventional cosmetic ingredient selected from additional ingredients commonly used in cosmetics, such as thickeners, dispersants, fragrances, fillers, preservatives, antiseptics, neutralizing agents, sweeteners, vitamins, free-radical scavengers, metal ion chelating agents, functional ingredients, and mixtures thereof. A person skilled in the art may select any additional ingredient and / or the amount thereof so that the advantageous properties of the composition according to this specification are not adversely affected or are substantially affected by the expected addition.
[0042] In addition, the above cosmetic composition may be used by applying it alone or in combination, or by applying it in combination with other cosmetic compositions other than the present invention. Furthermore, the cosmetic composition according to the present invention may be used according to conventional methods of use, and the frequency of use may be varied depending on the user's skin condition or preference.
[0043] The above cosmetic composition may be a cosmetic raw material composition that can be used in the manufacture of cosmetics. Additionally, the above cosmetic composition may be a cosmetic composition having a final cosmetic formulation.

[0064] Experimental Example 2: Moisture Evaporation Blocking Power
[0065] Evaluation of water evaporation blocking ability based on transepidermal water loss (TEWL) measurement
[0066] Cosmetic compositions according to Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 2 were prepared, and the amount of epidermal moisture evaporation was measured. The moisture barrier performance of the film was evaluated, and the maintenance of moisture balance of the cosmetic composition was measured. Tewameter ® TM 300 was used, and the cosmetic composition was evenly applied to a lip model (silicone material) and dried for 30 minutes, then measured using a Tewameter. ® The probe was placed in close contact with the surface, and the amount of moisture evaporation (g / m² / h) was recorded at 1-hour intervals for 24 hours. The average value was checked and is shown in [Table 3]. The moisture evaporation blocking effect can be confirmed by comparing it to the moisture evaporation rate of natural skin, which is 3–4 g / m² / h. It can be confirmed that the lower the value compared to the moisture evaporation rate of natural skin, the better the moisture retention capacity.
