Description

ATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONCLOSED TURBINE SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITYBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONCROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] The present application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 63 / 790,656, filed April 17, 2025; which is incorporated herein in its entirety and referenced thereto.FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present subject matter relates to wind turbines, and in particular, relates to an enclosed or closed turbine system capable of generating electricity in low wind conditions while minimizing air resistance and maximizing rotational speed.DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

[0003] It is known that Earth's temperature is rising due to an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide density and air pollution. Traditional fossil fuel-based energy production methods significantly contribute to the rise in Earth's temperature. There is a growing demand for transitioning away from fossil fuels towards the utilization of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, for electricity generation.

[0004] Solar energy is widely used for power generation. However, solar energy presents several limitations. For instance, solar panel installations require extensive space. Further, the solar panels exhibit reduced performance in low temperature conditions. On the other hand, wind energy offers a reliable solution by converting wind movement into electricity through horizontal or vertical axis turbines.

[0005] Several wind turbines for generating electricity have been disclosed in the past. One such example is disclosed in a U.S. Publication No. 20230340938, entitled “Wind power generator installable on moving body” ( “the ‘938 Publication”). The ‘938 Publication discloses a wind power generator including a vertical axis type wind power generation mechanism and a support mechanism. The wind powerATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONgeneration mechanism includes a wind collector, a windmill with a plurality of blades, a windmill rotation shaft, and a generator. The wind collector is formed to surround an outer circumference of the blades. The generator is directly connected to the windmill rotation shaft. The support mechanism includes a mount, and an attitude control means. The wind power generator installed in a stationary state enables it to generate power, or the wind power generator fixedly installed on a moving body enables it to generate power. The A rear end portion of a horizontal axis type wind power generation mechanism is detachably connected to a lower end portion of the vertical axis type wind power generation mechanism.

[0006] Another example is disclosed in a Chinese Publication No. 113137340, entitled “Squirrel-cage type wind driven generator” (“the ‘340 Publication”). The ‘340 Publication discloses a squirrel-cage type wind driven generator comprising a support, a center shaft, a plurality of sets of connecting arms and a plurality of blades. The blades are in a triangular prism shape, and each blade is rotatably connected between the connecting arms through axis exchange mechanisms arranged at the upper end and the lower end of the blade.

[0007] Yet another example is disclosed in a Chinese Publication No.205078398, entitled “Squirrel-cage type wind driven generator” (“the ‘398 Publication”). The ‘398 Publication discloses a wind generating set with an eight-angular prism frame and a vertical axis. An air intake is set up on each of the eight faces of the frame. The turbine set on the vertical axis includes multiple layers of impellers and vanes. Each turbine set is equipped with a permanent-magnet direct-drive generator connected to the vertical axis through a clutch. This design allows for wind energy to be amplified through multiple stages, reducing energy loss and increasing generating efficiency.

[0008] Although the above discussed disclosures are useful, they still have problems and present incomplete solutions. For instance, optimal operation of the wind turbines requires high wind speeds. Specifically, horizontal-axis wind turbines utilize multi-bladed, curved structures that experience resistance forces, reducing their efficiency. Furthermore, vertical-axis wind turbines suffer from intermittent air pressureATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONand resistance, further limiting their performance. Most wind turbines are designed to generate meaningful electricity at wind speeds ranging from 7-10 meters per second. In regions with average wind speeds ranging from 1.5-2 meters per second, traditional wind turbines can, at best, produce only 200-300 watts, significantly below their rated 10,000-watt capacity.

[0009] Therefore, there is a need in the art to provide an improved wind turbine system capable of generating electricity in low wind conditions while minimizing air resistance and maximizing rotational speed.ATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0010] It is an object of the present subject matter to provide an improved turbine system capable of generating electricity in low wind conditions.

[0011] It is another object of the present subject matter to provide a turbine system having a closed-loop blade system that amplifies air pressure for increased energy output.

[0012] It is another object of the present subject matter to provide a turbine system having a series of blades arranged in succession to form a closed structure in order to prevent air penetration within the blades to eliminate air vortices and increase rotational speed of the blades.

[0013] It is another object of the present subject matter to provide a turbine system that operates with minimal or no noise, making it suitable for urban and residential environments.

[0014] In order to achieve one or more objects, the present subject matter provides a closed turbine system for generating electricity. The turbine system includes a base, a support frame, and a roller bearing housing that supports a disc rod. The disc rod connects to fan arms that connect to a series of blades. The blades are arranged in succession, forming a closed structure in a variety of shapes, such as a disc, ball, oval, etc. The blades are shaped as empty prisms. The blades form pockets that capture and amplify air pressure, increasing rotational speed and efficiency.

[0015] The turbine system includes an electric generator positioned on a support platform. The support platform connects to the support frame via a metal arm. The electric generator is operatively connected to the disc rod via a gear or pulley mechanism. Specifically, the gear or pulley mechanism transfers the rotational force of blades via the disc rod to the electric generator for converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy.

[0016] In one aspect, the present subject matter provides a turbine system for generating electricity from wind energy, featuring a new design that maximizes wind energy utilization, enabling it to produce electricity at speeds of approximately one meter per second. The turbine system consists of a vertical axis connected at its lowerATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONend to a bearing housing (facilitating rotation discs), which is itself fixed to a base mounted on the surface. This base also supports the electric generator and a small braking turbine. The upper part of the axis carries blades, which take the form of hollow vertical prisms, parallel to the axis, and connected to it by arms at their upper and lower ends. These blades are densely packed together, forming a closed hollow cylinder from the outside, preventing air from entering inside, thus avoiding the formation of vortices behind the blades that occur in other models and hinder the rotation of the blades and the entire turbine.

[0017] The dense arrangement of the prismatic blades, which create pockets to capture air at the maximum arm length, firstly allows for easy rotation, and secondly ensures its stability. The prismatic shape of the blades reduces air resistance opposing rotation on the opposite side. Additionally, there is a gear with a specific diameter on the axis below the blades, opposite which, at its outer end, is a small gear fixed to the electric generator. The diameter of this small gear is % that of the large gear, causing the generator to rotate four times for every single rotation of the turbine.

[0018] Since the turbine system must not exceed a certain speed, the turbine system is provided with a braking system for braking upon reaching the permissible speed limit. The turbine system is equipped with two braking systems: a first brake system and a second brake system. The first brake system mounts at the top of the blades and the second brake system mounts below the blades. The first brake system is utilized when the speed approaches the maximum speed. The first brake system consists of weights suspended at the top of the axis, hanging to its sides via movable arms that move up and down. When the turbine reaches a studied speed, these weights rise and brake the turbine's rotation.

[0019] The second brake system is utilized when the permissible speed is exceeded. The second brake system includes a brake disc fixed on the axis below the gear disc, surrounded by a braking mechanism containing two brake pads, connected via a steel wire to the small braking turbine. When a certain speed is exceeded, the air pressure pulls the wire and brakes the turbine via the brake pads pressing on the brakeATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONdisc, reducing its speed to an acceptable level, it can also be used to completely stop the turbine when necessary.

[0020] In other words, the first brake system operates when wind speed increases and the turbine fan reaches a certain speed. The first brake system begins to gradually brake the blades, preventing it from exceeding a specific speed while remaining within limits that avoid exceeding a certain wind speed. The second brake system starts operating when the wind speed exceeds a certain limit, becoming relatively strong, after the first brake system is unable to provide sufficient braking.

[0021] In one advantageous feature of the present subject matter, the turbine system can be configured for both horizontal and vertical axis installations.

[0022] In another advantageous feature of the present subject matter, the turbine system can be used in any setting such as residential or urban areas as it produces less or no noise and can be made in compact design.

[0037] Various features and embodiments of a turbine system are explained in conjunction with the description of FIGURES (FIGs) 1-9.

[0038] FIG. 1 shows a front view of a closed (wind) turbine system 10, in accordance with one embodiment of the present subject matter. For ease of reference, closed (wind) turbine system 10 is referred to as “turbine system” hereinafter. Turbine system 10 includes a base 12. Base 12 rests on a surface such as ground, for example. Base 12 is made of a metal, wood, concrete structure, or any other suitable material. Base 12 comes in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the need. Turbine system 10 includes a support frame 14 that extends perpendicular from base 12.Support frame or axis 14 is made of suitable material capable of withstanding the entire weight of components positioned at the top of turbine system 10, and wind and storm pressure. Support frame 14 connects to a roller bearing housing 16.

[0039] FIG. 2 provides an enlarged view of roller bearing housing 16, in accordance with one embodiment of the present subject matter. Roller bearing housing 16 encompasses a bearing box 18 containing bearings 19. The axis of turbine system 10 is supported by rotating bearings 19 that are fixed to support frame 14 by roller bearing housing 16. In one example, roller bearing housing 16 connects to support frame 14 with the help of a flange 20. Flange 20 incorporates first connectors 21 such as fasteners for connecting flange 20 to roller bearing housing 16.

[0040] Referring back to FIG. 1, turbine system 10 includes a disc rod 22 that extends from a bearing box 18. Disc rod 22 connects to fan arms 24. In one implementation, fan arms 24 include four fan arms / rods, each extending from disc rod 22 at a right angle from one another. Fan arms 24 help to connect blades 26. FIG. 3 shows the feature of disc rod 22 attached to fan arms 24 which in turn connect to blades 26. In the present subject matter, blades 26 are provided in the shape of empty prisms as depicted in FIG. 3. Blades 26 are positioned vertically such that 16 vertical emptyATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONprisms are provided at distal ends of fan arms 24. Blades 26 are constructed using metal, fiberglass, plastic or any other suitable materials.

[0041] In one embodiment, turbine system 10 includes a metal arm 30 extending from support frame 14. Arm 30 supports positioning of an electric generator 32. In one example, electric generator 32 is positioned over a support platform 34 connected to arm 30 using second connectors 35.

[0042] Further, turbine system 10 incorporates a (spiral) bevel gear mechanism to transfer / transmit the rotational motion of blades 26 to drive electric generator 32 and generate electricity. The bevel gear mechanism includes a bevel gear 36 mounted on disc rod 22, and a pinion 38 connected to electric generator 32, as depicted in FIG. 1. Here, bevel gear 36 engages pinion 38 at 45-degree angle in order to translate the rotation of blades 26 to drive electric generator 32.

[0043] In the present subject matter, blades 26 are positioned in succession forming a closed fan. The fan can take the shape of a disc, a ball, an oval, or even a pear. A person skilled in the art understands that succession blades 26 can be formed in any shape and such modifications still fall within the scope of presently disclosed closed fan shape of turbine system 10. The succession of blades 26 creates successive pockets that receive air pressure. This results in continuous / constant air pressure at the maximum length of fan arms 24, simplifying the operation of turbine system 10 and electric generator 32. Further, succession of pockets formed by the succession of blades 26 leads to amplifying / multiplying air pressure by three or four additional times (each pocket provides an independent propulsion force). The inability of air to penetrate the closed blades 26 prevents it from forming a force resisting rotation, because blades 26 are adjacent to the body of the disc, which forms a single, tangent mass. This increases the speed of the disc and ease of its rotation. Furthermore, the absence of air penetration through the disc prevents the formation of air vortices behind blades 26, thereby preventing any pressure on blades 26 that could resist their rotation, as typically observed in traditional turbine fans. The air within the disc forms a single body with the disc and rotates with it without causing any resistance to rotation. It should be understood that the term "disc" refers to the shape of the blade arrangement at theATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONouter periphery, where the sequential / succession placement of blades 26 creates a closed or enclosed (rotatable) fan structure.

[0044] Blades 26 are shaped to receive more positive air pressure and less negative pressure. As specified above, blades 26 are formed using empty prisms. The closed shape of blades 26 prevents air penetration inside them, which in turn prevents the formation of vortices that negatively affect rotation of blades 26. Furthermore, air pressure is maintained at the maximum length of fan arms 24 at all times.

[0045] Blades 26 operate silently as blades 26 do not collide with the air during rotation. Further, no air vortices form behind blades 26, as air does not pass through both sides of blades 26, preventing air-to-air collisions and eliminating any sound generation.

[0046] Now referring to FIG. 4, a front view of a turbine system 100 is shown, in accordance with another embodiment of the present subject matter. Turbine system 100 includes a base 102. Base 102 rests on a surface such as ground, for example. Turbine system 100 includes a support frame 104 that extends perpendicular from base 102. Support frame 104 is made of suitable material capable of withstanding the entire weight of components positioned at the top of turbine system 100, and wind and storm pressure. Support frame 104 connects to a roller bearing housing 106 via a flange 108 and first connectors 109.

[0047] Further, turbine system 100 includes a disc rod 110 that extends from roller bearing housing 106. Further, disc rod 110 connects to fan arms (not shown, similar to fan arms 24). In one implementation, the fan arms include four rods, each extending from disc rod 110 at a right angle from one another. The fan arms help to connect blades 112 to disc rod 110. Similar to blades 26, blades 112 are positioned vertically such that 16 vertical empty prisms are provided at distal ends of the fan arms. In the present embodiment, blades 112 are positioned in succession forming a closed fan. The fan can take the shape of a disc, a ball, an oval, or even a pear.

[0048] Further, turbine system 100 includes a metal arm 114 extending from support frame 104. Arm 114 helps to position an electric generator 116. In one example,ATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONelectric generator 116 is positioned over a support platform 118 connected to arm 114 with the help of second connectors 119.

[0049] Further, turbine system 100 incorporates a pulley mechanism to transfer the rotation of blades 112 to drive electric generator 116 to generate electricity. The pulley mechanism includes a first gear 120 connected to electric generator 116, and a second gear 122 connected to disc rod 110. Here, first gear 120 connects to second gear 122 via a pulley belt 124.

[0050] Above described closed turbine (blades) can be used for both horizontal and vertical axis turbines by modifying the installation of the respective turbines.

[0051] Referring to FIG. 5, a front view of a turbine system 200 is shown, in accordance with another embodiment of the present subject matter. Turbine system 200 includes a base 202. Base 202 rests on a surface such as ground. Turbine system 200 includes a support frame 204 that extends perpendicular from base 202. Support frame 204 connects to a roller bearing housing 208. Roller bearing housing 208 further connects to a disc rod 206. FIG. 6 shows an enlarged view of roller bearing housing 208. Roller bearing housing 208 includes a bearing box 210 containing bearings 216. Roller bearing housing 208 connects to support frame 204 via a flange 212 and first connectors 214. Disc rod 206 connects to first blades 218 via fan arms (not shown). First blades 218 are positioned vertically with 16 vertical empty prisms.

[0052] In one embodiment, turbine system 200 includes a metal arm 222 extending from support frame 204. Arm 222 supports positioning of an electric generator 220 over a support platform 224 using second connectors 226. Further, turbine system 200 incorporates a (spiral) bevel gear mechanism to transfer / transmit the rotational motion of first blades 218 to drive electric generator 220 and generate electricity. The bevel gear mechanism includes a bevel gear 230 mounted on disc rod 206, and a pinion 228 connected to electric generator 220, as depicted in FIG. 5. Here, bevel gear 230 engages pinion 228 at 45-degree angle in order to translate the rotation of first blades 218 to drive electric generator 220.

[0053] Optionally, the bevel gear mechanism is replaced with a pulley system as shown in FIG. 7. The pulley system includes a metal arm 270 extending from supportATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONframe 204. Arm 204 helps to position an electric generator 272 over a support platform 274 with the help of connectors 276. The pulley system includes a first gear 278 connected to electric generator 272, and a second gear 280 connected to disc rod 206. Here, first gear 278 connects to second gear 280 via a pulley belt 282.

[0054] Referring back to FIG. 5, turbine system 200 incorporates a brake system. The brake system includes a first brake system 240 and a second brake system 250. First brake system 240 positions at the top of first blades 218. Here, a vertical rod 242 extends from disc rod 206. The length of first blades axis may be increased upward by a distance determined for each blade 218 based on its dimensions. Vertical rod 242 presents a hub 244 positioned at the top of the first blades axis. Hub 244 encompasses four steel bars 246 connected via pins 247. The length of steel bars 246 may be determined by the dimensions of first blades 218. Steel bars 246 include four weight balls / rollers 248 fixed at their respective distal ends. Here, steel bars 246 are configured to rotate around a horizontal axis, allowing them to only rise and fall, and not to rotate. As steel bars 246 only rise and fall, weight rollers 248 also rotate on the vertical direction only.

[0055] When first blades 218 are not rotating, weight rollers 248 hang down and are in contact with the first blades axis. When first blades 218 rotate, weight rollers 248 maintain their position as long as first blades 218 speed does not exceed a certain speed. When first blades 218 rotational speed exceeds a certain speed, weight rollers 248 begin to rise. Weight rollers 248 rise during rotation depends on the length of steel bars 246 and the weight of weight rollers 248, braking first blades 218 movement. The faster the wind speed, the faster first blades 218 rotates, and the higher weight rollers 248 rise, until they reach the horizontal level. When the horizontal level is reached, first brake system 240 is at its maximum braking capacity. If the wind speed exceeds the speed that brought weight rollers 248 to the horizontal level, and if this speed and condition are undesirable (pre-programmed during manufacturing), second brake system 250 intervenes.

[0056] It should be understood that first brake system 240 operates when wind speed increases and the turbine fan reaches a certain speed. As presented above, firstATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONbrake system 240 mounts at the top of first blades axis and rotates with it. First brake system 240 begins to gradually brake first blades 218, preventing it from exceeding a specific speed while remaining within limits that avoid exceeding a certain wind speed. First brake system 240 operates on the principle of dynamic movement of rotating weights.

[0057] Second brake system 250 positions below first blades 218. Second brake system 250 includes a first brake arm 251 and a second brake arm 252 connected by a fan base 253. Fan base 253 connects to support frame 204. First brake arm 251 and second brake arm 252 act as a brake cylinder. First brake arm 251 connects to second blades (second fans / brake pedal) 254. Second blades 254 indicate a miniature turbine fan with four prisms. Second blades 254 may consist of four cones and come in conical, pyramidal or prismatic configuration with vertical axis. Second brake arm 252 connects to brake pads 255 via a brake disc 256. Further, second brake system 250 includes a spring 258 inside a box fixed on second brake arm 252. Second brake system 250 includes a pulling strap 260 connected to second brake arm 252 at spring 258. Brake disc 256 indicates a steel disc with a thickness and diameter determined according to turbine system 200 dimension. Brake disc 256 is mounted on second blades 254 axis and rotates with it between brake pads 255. Spring 258 is selected such that it compresses only if the pressure exerted on it exceeds a certain force. Spring 258 can be equipped with a mechanism (not shown) to increase its pressure tolerance or allow it to contract under a lower force.

[0058] Second brake system 250 operates when the wind speed exceeds a certain limit, becoming relatively strong, after first brake system 240 is unable to provide sufficient braking. As presented above, second brake system 250 is mounted on the load base under first blades 218. Second brake system 250 works using brakes similar to those in a car.

[0059] Pulling strap 260 connects to first brake arm 251 and brake pads 255.Specifically, one end of pulling strap 260 is attached to the small pulley mounted on second blades 254 axis so that it winds around it if it can rotate. The other end of pulling strap 260 is connected to second brake arm 252 so that it forces brake pads 255 toATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONpress against brake disc 256, reducing speed or stopping it completely, if necessary, according to specified conditions determined during manufacturing. Thus, it reduces second blades 254 speed or stops it completely if it is set to play this role.

[0060] When turbine system 200 is in operation, first blades 218 receive air pressure forcing them to rotate. First blades 218 speed increases with the wind speed. At the same time, second blades 254 acting as a brake pedal also receives pressure and begins to attempt to rotate. However, pulling strap 260 connected to brake cylinder 251 and containing a resistant spring 258 prevents it from rotating and prevent braking until the wind speed reaches a certain level. When the wind speed increases to a certain level, the pressure on the smaller second blades 254 increases, increasing the tension and causing spring 258 to compress, thus initiating braking.

[0061] The intervention of second brake system 250 will be infrequent because first brake system 240 will be sufficient most of the time. In order to stop first blades 218 completely, pulling strap 260 might be pulled strongly by hand by a user, or the user may press on second blades 254, to completely stop first blades 218.

[0062] FIG. 8 shows a method 300 for operating the turbine system, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The order in which method 300 is described should not be construed as a limitation, and any number of the described method blocks can be combined in any order to implement method 300 or alternate methods. Additionally, individual blocks may be deleted from method 300 without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention described herein. For ease of explanation, in the embodiments described below, method 300 may be implemented using the above-described turbine system 10, 100.

[0063] Method 300 starts at step 302. At step 302, air enters turbine system 10, 100, 200 from any direction 28. As presented above, turbine system 10, 100 includes blades 26, 112 arranged in succession forming closed fan shapes like a disc, oval, or other configurations. Air flows into a series of pockets created by the successive blades 26, 112. As blades 26, 112 follow each other on the outer cylinder of this disc, they generate pockets resembling adjacent, successive, rectangular cones with nozzles. The design of blades 26, 112 ensures that air enters from one side simultaneously into theseATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONpockets formed by successive blades 26, 112 and the outer surface of the disc cylinder, regardless of the incoming air direction. The air on the opposite side, in contact with the outer surface of blades 26, 112 (tangentially), minimizes air resistance to rotation.

[0064] At step 304, air pressure increases with each pocket as blades 26, 112 rotate. This results in am plifying / m ultiplying the air pressure within the turbine by three or four times, with each pocket contributing an independent propulsion force. The closed design of blades 26, 112 minimizes air resistance, and maximizes rotational force, and allows the air within the disc to rotate with the disc, minimizing friction.

[0065] At step 306, the rotating disc rotates disc rod 22, 110. In one example, disc rod 22 drives a gear mechanism (bevel gear 36 and pinion 38) connected to electric generator 32 (step 308). Similarly, disc rod 22 drives a pulley mechanism (first gear 120, second gear 122, and pulley belt 124) connected to electric generator 116 (step 308). It should be understood that the gear ratio amplifies the rotational force in order to increase the power output. At step 310, electric generator 32, 116 converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy.

[0066] FIG. 9 shows a perspective view of a turbine system 400, in accordance with one exemplary embodiment of the present subject matter. Turbine system 400 includes a base 402. Base 402 rests on a surface such as ground, for example. Turbine system 400 includes a support frame 304. Support frame 404 extends from base 402. Support frame 404 connects to a roller bearing housing 406 which in turn connects to a disc rod 408. Disc rod 408 operatively connects to blades 410, as explained above.

[0067] Further, turbine system 400 includes a metal arm 412 operatively connected to an electric generator 414. Turbine system 400 incorporates a gear mechanism or a pulley mechanism (not shown) to transfer the blades 410 to electric generator 414 generate electricity. Turbine system 400 operates similar to turbine system 10, as explained above.

[0068] The above described turbine system can be produced in any size depending on the amount of energy to be produced or the electric generator used. For example, the turbine system can be configured to generate electricity for a house orATTORNEY DOCKET PROVISIONAL AJIB002WO PATENT APPLICATIONeven a village. This can be achieved by changing the length of the fan arms and the length of blades (disc height) and pocket opening.

[0069] The presently disclosed turbine system provides several advantages over prior art. The closed-loop design of the turbine system minimizes air resistance by reducing the surface area exposed to airflow. This enables an increase in rotational speed of the blades and power output. The successive pockets formed by the blades capture and amplify air pressure, which maximizes the energy extraction irrespective of the wind direction. The closed-loop design of the turbine system eliminates the air vortices behind the blades, which further reduces drag and improves overall efficiency. The absence of the air vortices and the reduced interaction between air and the rotating blades allows the turbine system to operate without producing much noise. This allows the turbine system to be installed in residential and urban areas. The turbine system can be produced in compact design making it suitable for installations in various locations, including rooftops, urban areas, and any other platforms.

[0070] A person skilled in the art appreciates that the turbine system can come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the need and comfort of the user. Further, many changes in the design and placement of components may take place without deviating from the scope of the presently disclosed turbine system.
