Abstract

Electric accumulator (battery) of a modular type, stackable in a string or stack of modules, having an enclosure with a main body portion housing a plurality of electrochemical cells; a front portion of the casing houses an electronic circuitry and is provided with a removable plate to access the electronic circuitry, without compromising the airtightness of the main portion; the enclosure also carries: at a front face, electrical connectors and data connectors; and at a rear face, a vent membrane, having a controlled rupture opening in the event of internal overpressure.
