Abstract

A base plate of a double-edged safety razor designed to provide extensive support for the blade; the integrated grooves also allow for better lather and hair flow as well as easier rinsing, keeping the blade clean and performing at its best; additionally, the grooves act as a safety barrier, preventing the skin from being pulled into the blade gap; the design of the base plate can be adapted to single-edged safety razors too.
